DreamGoddessLindsey
One of the biggest criticisms I had about the original WMMA was that the ground-and-pound style almost always dominated the submission styles like Jiu-Jitsu. Has that been addressed and hopefully evened out in WMMA2, or are the ground-and-pound fighters still always the best?
Hawk1665
I've noticed no real "best style" in WMMA2. Some types of fighters are better suited for succeeding though. Like a strong wrestler whose got a decent idea of submission defense, and punching power. Sylvester Collins and Bosco Curbeam are two of the best at this. They nullify submission fighter's abilities by not taking it to the ground, or against another striker, they'll take the fight to the ground and unleash hell. I've also seem succeed with Sprawl N Brawl types. Asanovic is a famous example, but even someone like Jon Silver is good at it. They use excellent standing striking ability with a great sprawl to stay alive. Guys that are straight up Muay Thai typically do not do well, which is pretty realistic. There aren't many top line fighters in real life that are strictly Muay Thai.
Deattribution
There are definitely a lot more submissions and variance in in the outcomes than WMMA1. I don't think GnP fighters are over powered in my experience thus far.
Slick Mick
if anything, the opposite, submission guys seem like they might be a little OP. but maybe its just my roster.
