TheGunman Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Ok, so I bought the game a few days ago, downloaded the D.O.T.T. mod and started a Rookie to Legend career. I was in a match where I had reduced all my opponents energy and health bars to zero, I had full momentum and just under half my energy, and I hit my opponent with two finishers (Red Mist and Martinette) and yet when I went for a pin, chance of pinfall was 0% and so he kicked out and went on to beat me. Not expecting to win many matches early on, but I would have thought that that situation would have been a certain victory, any reason why 2 finishers would have basically no effect? TheGunman Posted May 5, 2009 Author Share Posted May 5, 2009 Yeah I understand that you need a fairly high success rate in order to get the pin, but I'm pretty sure at least one of those moves was at least 90% success rate, which was why I was a bit confused. TheGunman Posted May 6, 2009 Author Share Posted May 6, 2009 Yeah I think so, guess that must be it. Didn't realise that if the ref gave a warning I wouldn't be able to pin the opponent.
