USWF: A New Breed Of Wrestling

Recommended Posts

<p>OOC: Hey guys, first and foremost, thank you for taking the time and reading this. I hope you all will be willing to critique me and help me develop this story. The format I am looking at using is straight-forward, and told from the perspective of the owner/founder (me). The matches will not have lengthy lengthy descriptions, rather just a quick run-down (though PPV's may be different). For now the first entry is in the style of a journal entry. Hope you all are excited to see what is coming. Yes there will be pictures, and other things, but for now this is a quick introduction to this story.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The United States Wrestling Federation</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>December 12, 2007</em></p><p> </p><p>

It was a humid evening in the south, and I was just finishing up a long day working on fixing up an old house for my family, but my mind was fixated on one thing, what in the world was I thinking getting back into this industry. I left the wrestling industry in late-2003 without much thought. I figured that the industry just wasn't for me, but in the end, while working on this project I realized, I wanted back in. This time I had the resources, the references, and the ability to create a dominate, entertaining force in professional wrestling. Unlike the other big federations I had not burned bridges through the entertainment industry. In fact my company, Altitude Entertainment Group, had grown so rapidly in the past 5 years that I was able to take a risk and start this federation. But I cannot take all the credit, after all, I have a lot of support from those around me. This conglomerate of men have pledged great amounts of funding, and are willing to help in anyway possible. </p><p> </p><p>

So who are some of these men you ask, well lets just say two of these men have enormous pull in the television industry. One of these men knows wrestling, in fact he knows it really well.Thankfully for me, he was also interested in bringing wrestling back to his empire. As such Ted Turner became the first big donor to the USWF, and USWF Revolution will air every Wednesday at 10 PM EST. The other man is a man widely considered to be a rebel in every since of the word, Mark Cuban. His NBA Franchise, the Dallas Mavericks, have been extremely successful since he has taken over, and his HDNet television station is the perfect avenue for the secondary show, USWF Fusion which will emanate live Saturday Nights at 11 PM EST on HDNet. Along with these two men offering to help by broadcasting our shows we have also received an immense amounts of help from my friends in the sports and music industries. Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons, the founders of Def Jam Recordings, have both signed on as the official "Music" supplier to the USWF. Along those accords they have also agreed to allow artists from the label appear for the USWF as performers (not wrestlers). As for athletes, upwards of 50 different athletes from all professional sports have pledged their support financially. These donations range from as little as $1,000 to $1,000,000 (pledged by an athlete who for the time being wishes to remain anonymous). With that let us take a look at the vital details behind the company.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">VITAL Details:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

USWF</p><p>

Two Television Shows (Revolution and Fusion)</p><p>

Revolution is a 150 Minute show airing on TNT Wednesday Nights.</p><p>

Fusion is a 90 Minute show airing on HDNet Saturday Nights. </p><p>

Both shows will air live starting with Revolution on January 10th.</p><p>

Titles:</p><p> </p><p>

USWF World Championship</p><p>

USWF Lightweight Championship (under 220 lbs)</p><p>

USWF Tag Championship</p><p> </p><p>

As for me, well I will remain behind the scenes, pushing paper, and loading the roster with what we hope is amazing talent, that will produce an amazing show, that one day may be able to compete with the big one.</p><p> </p><p>

Currently, I am working alone (though I have 10 employees) late into the night, looking over a stack of around 150 wrestlers resumes. We hope to finalize an initial roster of around 20 wrestlers for the first show. All I have to say is, expect the unexpected.</p><p> </p><p>

_________________________________________</p><p> </p><p>

December 26, 2007</p><p> </p><p>

It twas the day after Christmas, no rest for the weary, I am in the middle of securing wrestlers, refs, agents, announcers, and a road crew to help us travel. Let me tell you what it is no easy task. Let me tell you what, it is no easy task. In fact, I am panicked that I will not get any of this done in time for the first show on the 17th. That feeling of emptiness is a terrible feeling. I am hopeful that I can secure at least enough wrestlers to put on a show, but quite frankly we may have jumped the gun a little. Definitely nervous. In the past 20 days I have contacted over 70 Wrestlers about joining the promotion. Some of them you will instantly recognize, others, quite frankly even I don't know anything about. I've been watching tapes of a lot of these guys and I am extremely hopeful that we can secure a couple of the guys you will recognize. I will say this, the fans will not be disappointed. I will give you one clue as to a stable we are planning on building...the initials for the group are going to be Y.B.R., bonus points if anyone solves it. The First episode of Revolution will help to clear a lot of things up about the promotion. Most notably we are planning on introducing the three titles, as well as introducing parts of the roster. Hope you are as pumped as I am.</p><p> </p><p>

______________________________________</p><p> </p><p>

January 1st, 2008</p><p> </p><p>

First things first, we officially have an announcer for the first TV shows. Joey Eastman will be on the desk for the debut show. No word on who will join him yet. At the moment it looks like Full Impact Pro Wrestlings Mister Saint Laurent (Jared David) will be joining him on the desk at least initially. We also officially signed the Head Ref Nick Patrick. We are hopefully going to be finalizing some contracts over the next couple days, and then launching with our first show. CANNOT WAIT! Hope you all will tune in.</p>

USWF Revolution

JANUARY 10th, 2008

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/revolution2.gif

WELCOME FANS TO THE FIRST EVER LIVE BLOG OF USWF Revolution! Let me first start off by saying, THANK YOU FOR COMING! It means the world to all of us. Secondly, I would like to announce that you will witness the beginning of the World Tag Team Championship Tournament tonight. Allow us to take a look at the 4 Teams participating in the tournament that you will see this week. The other 4 teams will compete next week with the finals coming along in the final week of January.

1) The Lords of the Ring (Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway)

2) 2 Cool ("Too Sexy" Brian Lawler and "Too Hot" Scott Taylor)

3) Young Black and Rich (Ruckus and Sabian)

4) North Star Express (Ryan Cruz and Darin Corbin)

Tonight we have only one first round match, but it promises to be a good one as 2 Cool is taking on the North Star Express

Before we head ringside, let me tell you about the Dark Match that occurred before the show started. Oynx defeated DJ Darren Burridge (A character we will be pushing as a european trance DJ), in a relatively back and forth match that allowed both wrestlers to showcase some moves as the fans filed in to the arena.

With that lets head ringside LIVE at the American Airlines Arena in MIAMI and join Dave Prazak, and Mister Saint Laurent.

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Dave_Prazak.jpg

DP: Ladies and Gentleman watching around the USA welcome to USWF Revolution LIVE from Miami and exclusively on TNT. We guarantee an exciting show tonight, and we hope that you all are just as excited as we are!

MSL: Pshh, why should they be excited, we've proved nothing, hell the owner won't even tell us the roster. Instead they have been promoting this show using generic phrases, and promising to change the wrestling industry..well good luck with that.

(Just at that moment)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpg

OHHHHH YAAAAA!!!!

DP: MACHO Man Randy Savage is here! And lets get this show on the road and enjoy the surprises that come with it!

MSL: Oh look Dave the 80-year is getting ready to speak....

Savage: OOOOHHHHHHHHHH YAAAA!!!! Miami I am back, and I am thrilled to be back in the ring! I could sit here and bore you with the all the details but I am here to put wrestling back on the map. This isn't some gimmick, or one night stand, I am here to stay, and bring the USWF to prominence in the Wrestling...

(Crows Caw interrupting Savage, Raven appears on the stage, microphone in hand, trademark attire adorned.)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg

Raven: Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
Only this, and nothing more."

Randy you may claim that you are here to put the USWF on the map, but let me tell you what, as I have been sitting and waiting for this opportunity to rejoin the Wrestling world, i've heard one thing, i've heard a tapping, a tapping at my chamber door, and it told me, that I am to come back and take control of the USWF...Quoth The Raven NEVERMORE!

DP: Wow, what an explosive start to USWF Revolution!

MSL: If you call two old men bitching about how they are back to save the wrestling world explosive, then yes, I personally would call the local retirement community and mention to them that they are missing some of their members.

DP: Well excuse me, Saint, but i'll tell you what, i've just been passed along this note, tonights MAIN EVENT is going to be Raven vs. the Macho Man! And that after this break we are heading to the ring for the first match of the Tag Team Tournament as announced online at USWF.com! It is going to be the reunited team of "Too Sexy" Brian Lawler and "Too Hot" Scott Taylor, TEAM 2 COOL!!! and they will be taking on the up and coming team of the North Star Express (Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz).

2 Cool vs. North Star Express

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Scotty_2_Hotty.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Brian_Lawler.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Darin_Corbin.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ryan_Cruz.jpg

Quick Recap: This was a great match to start off the Tag Tournament as both teams are well-experienced with each-other. This made for a very entertaining show. The fans didn't know much about the North Star Express, but in the end it would not matter as they were dispatched by the "WORM".

WINNERS: 2 Cool (Taylor hits the Worm on Corbin)

DP: Great start to this show, and i'm being buzzed that TORRIE WILSON is standing backstage with a very special announcement...

(The ever-so sexy Torrie Wilson is seen standing and rubbing an unidentified mans bare shoulders)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Torrie_Wilson.jpg

Torrie: Ladies and Gentlemen, as you all well know, I've graced the cover of Playboy more than once. And as you may know when you are a playmate you are invited to party at the Mansion. Well, I figured why should I be selfish, and keep all the good looking men to myself. I want to introduce to you, not only an excellent wrestler, but also an EXCELLENT man, if you catch my drift, SHAWN SPEARS!

(Camera pans back to the announce table)

DP: Well I gotta say, the USWF higher-ups have brought some sexiness into the fold thats for sure.

MSL: Dave, I know your talking about Shawn Spears, but in case you missed it, TORRIE Freakin' WILSON is a member of the USWF roster!

DP: I don't even feel the need to answer that, I think we all know who I was talking about! But after the break we will get to feast our eyes on Torrie Wilson some more as her new client debuts in a three-way match against two wrestling vets, Elix Skipper and Matt Bentley!

Shawn Spears vs. Elix Skipper vs. Matt Bentley

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpg vs http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elix_Skipper.jpg vs http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Matt_Bentley.jpg

Quick Recap: Shawn Spears, Elix Skipper and Matt Bentley all wrestled well with each other, but in the end The New Boy-toy of Playmate Torrie Wilson, Shawn Spears wins the match when he pins Matt Bentley. Spears will face Skipper again, but this time in 1-on-1 action on Fusion.

Winner: Shawn Spears (Pinned Bentley)

DP: Another great match, and I'll tell you what, that Shawn Spears was sure impressive.

MSL: Ya, well you know what else was impressive, Torrie Wilson's outfit!

(The arena goes dark, and then red-light bathes the stage, James Mitchell walks out)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/James_Mitchell.jpg

JM: (Cackling laugh) For those of you die-hards, you probably remember some of the monsters I have introduced to the wrestling world, Mortis, Wrath, Abyss, just to name a few. Well now, I am prepared to unleash my newest beast...(a red fog begins to come out around the ring, a little child's voice can be heard repeating the same word over and over again, REDRUM, REDRUM, REDRUM...) (Mitchell begins to laugh again and leaves the stage).

DP: Welcome back folks, just before the break we witnessed a very disturbing promo from James Mitchell, but now we are ready to head back to the ring to catch some more great lightweight action as Shannon Moore takes on a rising star from Japan, CIMA.

Shannon Moore vs. CIMA

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg vs http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/CIMA.jpg

Quick Recap: This match was good, but at least in my opinion the fans were still creeped out by the promo that Mitchell had cut before the break. Both Moore and CIMA wrestled well, but in the end it was Shannon Moore hitting the Mooregasm for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Moore (via Mooregasm)

DP: Great match we had there, but not to cut things short we are being told that we have a wrestler backstage who has an open challenge to throwout.

(Camera heads to the back, where we see a Orlando Jordan dressed in a Gucci suit standing-by).

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpg

OJ: Ladies and Gentleman, in case you don't remember me, I am ORLANDO JORDAN, and I am the richest man in the company. Ya that's right, a young black man who just happens to be rich. I bet a bunch of you are saying, oh he must be a drug-dealer, or a gangster or something, but no, I am merely YOUNG, BLACK...and RICH. So I am going to changeout of this Gucci suit and head down to the ring. So to one of my fellow wrestlers in the back, I'll meet you in the ring.

(We return from break and head straight to the announce table)

DP: Well well well, lets go to the ring, Orlando Jordan is on his way down now.

MSL: And look as those trunks he is wearing, the are adorned with the Gucci logo. He really is Young, and Rich.

DP: God you disgust me.

(Orlando has grabbed a mic)

OJ: So...send me a punk already.

(A rock remix of Oh! Canada plays and Petey Williams storms the ring)

Orlando Jordan vs. Petey Williams

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpg vs http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Petey_Williams.jpg

Quick Recap: Despite Williams starting off like a ball of fire, Jordan dominated the match, and ultimately hit the Money Clip for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Orlando Jordan (via Money Clip)

DP: Well well well, Orlando Jordan dominates Petey Williams, and he truly looks like he could be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Lets now send it backstage where we have another surprise for you.

(Trish Stratus is standing in the back wearing a doctored-up business suit talking to a man whose back is to the camera)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Trish_Stratus_2.jpg

Trish: So you these will take effect soon?

Man: Yes, yes Trish they will...hope you enjoy it.

Trish: Oh I will!

(Back to the announce table)

DP: I've gotta wonder what they are talking about!!! I guess we willjust have to wait and see!

(A promo then airs, all you see is thick brush and a pair of red-eyes in the bush)

Music hits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p8OUdOXruI&feature=PlayList&p=92CC18BCF3A31F04&index=35

(Then the screen reads)

The Alpha Male is BACK...PERIOD

DP: Lets return to the ring for some more intense singles actions as we have two former champions set to due battle.

Rene Dupree vs Sonny Siaki

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpg vs http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sonny_Siaki_2.jpg

Quick Recap: Rene Dupree and Sonny Siaki are very-well matched up with eachother, and it even seems like Siaki is about to win the match, but just as it seems to be over Sylvain Grenier storms the ring with the French flag. Referee Jimmy Korderas stops Grenier from entering and takes the flag from him, but as the ref is dealing with Grenier, Dupree is able to take somethig out of his trunks, and hit Siaki with it. After Korderas has removed Grenier he turns around just in time to see Rene Dupree hit the Dupree Bomb, and count 1-2-3.

Winner: Rene Dupree (via Dupree Bomb after Sylvain Grenier interfered)

Post-Match Dupree and Grenier are in the ring with microphones.

Dupree: SHUT UP! All you Americans, shut up! (Crowd Boos). The Resistance is back, and we are more than ready to become the first-ever USWF Tag Champions. Grenier: What Rene and I are saying, is that we are officially entered into the tournament, so find us a team to destroy, because the Resistance is back. And now, please stand for the French National Anthem.

(But before the anthem can get underway, Sonny Siaki who was still on the ramp has grabbed a microphone)

Siaki: Yo Frenchies! Your looking at one half of your challengers for Fusion. All I have to say is...WIPEOUT! (Siaki flashes a hang loose sign to the crowd as we head to the final break of the night).

(The cameras return to the ring where the ring announcer is standing-by)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3jROS3J9e0

Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen it is now time for the Main Event. Introducing first, Weighing 240 pounds, from the The BOWERY...THIS IS RAVEN!!!!

(Raven enters, poses in the crucifix pose, then slumps into the corner)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5e7s6v_HM8&feature=related

Ring Announcer: And his opponent, also weighing in at 240 pounds, from Sarasota, Florida, THIS IS THE MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE.

Raven vs Savage

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg vs http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpg

Quick Recap: This match started off nicely, but in the end both men began to tire. Savage went up top for the elbow drop, but Raven slid out of the way. He picked Savage up and hit the Evenflow, but as he went for the cover the lights went off. Rather than the lights returning, a red glow lit the ring, as REDRUM and James Mitchell stormed the ring. REDRUM nailed Raven and Savage both with the RELLIK (Inverted Brainbuster) and then stood over both men as Mitchell laughed and the show went off the air.

DRAW (REDRUM attacked both men)

Attendance: 6,646

TV Rating: 2.88 (More than satisfied with that)

JM: Ladies and gentlemen, last week you met my monster. This week you will be able to see him kill...

REDRUM vs. DJ Darren Burridge

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Darren_Burridge.jpg

Winner: REDRUM (via RELLIK)

(We go backstage where Trish Stratus is talking to Petey Williams)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Trish_Stratus_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Petey_Williams.jpg

Petey: Trish, you know I was thinking, we are both Canadian, we have a lot in common, and you can definitely help me out, would you be interested in helping?

Trish: Pete, we do have a lot in common, and with my new position, I sure could help you out...But after watching you on Revolution I noticed some weaknesses. So before I am going to help you, I think i'd like you to meet someone.

(Just then Petey is thrown across the room by a man who cannot be seen on camera)

Trish: Jeez, Petey looks like you have some work to do before i'm gonna be helping you...but I am sure you liked meeting my new friend.

(Back at the announce desk)

DP: Boy oh boy the drama keeps growing with Trish Stratus. Petey Williams seems to think she may have some kind of power...

JE: Well it looks like Petey may have just met that power.

DP: Yes indeed lets head back to the ring as here come the The Resistance

Tag Tournament

The Resistance vs. Hawaii Five-Oh

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sylvain_Grenier.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sonny_Siaki_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Prince_Iaukea.jpg

Quick Recap: Dupree and Grenier await Sonny Siaki and his mystery partner, who turns out to be former WCW Cruiserweight and TV Champion Prince Iaukea. Siaki introduces the team as Hawaii Five-Oh. The two Hawaiians start off hot, and make a great team together. Siaki is on a roll, but just when it looks like he may be able to hit his finisher Sylvain Grenier distracts the the ref allowing Dupree to hit a low-blow, and then clock Siaki and Iaukea with the French flag for the 1-2-3.

Winners: The Resistance (After Dupree used the the Flag)

DP: And The Resistance moves on in the tournament they join 2 Cool in the second round.

JE: Yes indeed, and we have received word that the final two matches of the first round will take place Wednesday on Revolution.

DP: Speaking of Revolution lets take a quick look back at the 3-way Lightweight Dance.

(Video Recap of Shawn Spears defeating Matt Bentley while Elix Skipper was out of the ring)

JE: Yep Dave, Shawn Spears had a great debut, and tonight he has the chance to win again as he takes on the man he didn't beat Wednesday, Elix Skipper.

Elix Skipper vs Shawn Spears

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elix_Skipper.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpg

Quick Recap: Despite having a great match in the three-way, these two men just didn't work well together. In the end Shawn Spears picked up the win, earning a kiss from Torrie Wilson.

Winner: Shawn Spears

(Post-Match the fans see the screen turn to a thick jungle scene, a cheetah sprints across the screen and the word POUNCE flashes) (Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p8OUdOXruI&feature=PlayList&p=92CC18BCF3A31F04&index=35)

DP: Lets head backstage where the Macho Man has a special feature with an up and coming star

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpg

MM: OOOH YAA! Thanks Dave. I have with me Jack Evans one of the final students of the Hart Dungeon. Jack what kind of impact do you hope to have on the USWF.

JE: Well Macho, I know I am not the biggest of names, or biggest of guys. But the training that I went through in the Dungeon has more than prepared me to be a legitimate force in the USWF. I think the fans will love my aerial skills, and I know that soon I will be able to contend for the title!

MM: Well let me tell you what Jack. As one of the veterans in this organization I have pulled some strings, and i've got you a match coming up next. I want to see what you have to offer. So head to the ring, and prepare to take on the Punk...Shannon Moore.

Jack Evans vs. Shannon Moore

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpgvs.http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg

Quick Recap: After knocking off CIMA on Revolution, Shannon Moore looks like a legitimate threat to challenge for the lightweight belt. Jack Evans has a lot to prove, especially with the Macho Man setting this match up for him. But in the end, Evans high-flying nature costs him as he misses a 630 corkscrew, allowing Moore to hit the Mooregasm for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Shannon Moore (via Mooregasm)

(Back from break and Orlando Jordan has yet another announcement)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpg

OJ: Fans last week I was challenged by some little Canadian punk, well we all saw how that ended, but boy oh boy I gotta say I feel like my wealth makes me a target in the locker room. So i've decided to call up some my buddies and create a stable of Young Black and Rich guys who are more than willing to show off the fact that we are the future of professional wrestling. So without further adieu i'd like you to experience my newest ally, and close friend...ELIJAH BURKE.

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elijah_Burke.jpg

(Burke walks down to the ring in a Gucci suit)

EB: OJ my man, thanks for bringing me here. As for you fans, well I was thinking about bringing you something as a gift, but then I realized you are all worthless. In fact most of you probably will never even see as much money as I make in a week. (Burke and Jordan laugh as music hits, Nick Dinsmore walks out onto the ramp)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg

ND: You know what, these fans and I have a lot in common. We have both been mistreated. Lets be honest, I am not mentally disabled, I am NICK DINSMORE. I am not some kind of bumbling fool. All I want to do is wrestle and impress these fans what I have to offer. So Orlando lets get it on.

Main Event

Orlando Jordan vs. Nick Dinsmore

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg

Quick Recap: Dinsmore and Jordan start off on fire, putting on a great show for the fans. Dinsmore gets on a roll and seems to have the upper hand, but Elijah Burke hops into the ring hitting the Elijah Experience. And getting Jordan DQ'd. Post-match Burke and Jordan work-over Dinsmore as Fusion goes off the air.

Winner: Nick Dinsmore (via DQ when Elijah Burke interferes)

Quick Results:

REDRUM defeated DJ Darren Burridge via RELLIK

The Resistance defeated Hawaii Five-Oh via Flag Shot to Siaki

Shawn Spears defeated Elix Skipper via Straight to DVD (Death Valley Driver)

Shannon Moore defeated Jack Evans via Mooregasm

Nick Dinsmore defeated Orlando Jordan by DQ

Fusion Got A .06 Rating on HDNet

Post-Match USWF.com announcements: We've been hearing rumors for weeks now that Rob Conway will be teaming with Nick Dinsmore, and finally this is coming true. Next week on Revolution The Lords of the Ring will face a team that Young Black and Rich throw at them in the first round of the tag tournament. No word on if that will be Burke and Jordan or if it will be additional associates of these two men on a mission.

Confirmed Card for Revolution:

Lords of the Ring vs. Young Black and Rich

Shawn Spears vs. Ken Doane

REDRUM vs. Sonny Siaki

Shannon Moore vs CIMA

Jack Evans vs Elix Skipper

Main Event (To Be Announced During The Show)

Thoughts so far:

Firstly, VERY good write-ups. I like the short matches but well-written promos. Raven vs Savage promo was something I could really picture.

Secondly, what sort of schedule are you aiming for? 2 shows in a bit over 24 hours is a great start but from past experience it will be really difficult to keep up anything like that pace, especially with lengthy shows like them. Even if you CAN write them that quickly, you might want to slow down posting a bit so you have a backlog prepared in case anything happens to stop you writing for a bit.

Thirdly, if I can be nit-picky for a moment, the grammar and spelling are slightly off in a few places. "your all worthless" in Elijah's promo should be "you're all worthless.", "alot" in Dinsmore's response should be "a lot." Nothing that matters hugely but just makes it a little bit jarring.

Fourthly, just to say thanks for getting me interested in a real-world dynasty! I barely ever read anything except C-Verse but have really enjoyed this one so far. Also, you might want to consider posting a card for the next show, like you did for Fusion. I'd imagine you'll get people predicting once they've seen a couple of shows.

Good luck with this!

Jaded-

Thank you for the response. I am extremely thankful for any tips and suggestions. Believe it or not I completely agree with the third point (and have since edited the point in question).

I've added the card for the next Revolution (and I am currently writing it up, although I may hold-off posting it as you suggested).

I had not actually thought about a schedule for posting shows. In general i've just been writing them up as I go. Initially I am hoping to get a fan-base going and getting constructive feedback like yours only helps to motivate me.

I think I will target posting two shows a week. Although realistically I would love to be able to get a month worth of shows up every real month (8-9 shows).

If i could add just one more lil but of a tip. I saw that 2 Cool faced off with the NSE but all I saw were the pics of 2 Cool. If you don't have the pics of most of your wrestlers then that's cool. But I would like to see who faces who sometimes, you know?

Besides that, KUTGW and push Sonny Siaki!!!

push Sonny Siaki!!!

critical, how could you?!

My blind hatred of Sonny Siaki aside, I think this thing is off to a good start. Keep at it, and you should be able to build up a following.

Good luck trying to run 8-9 shows in a month. But don't FORCE yourself to try and meet that goal, though. You should enjoy writing this, and have fun with it. If you have times where you just don't feel like working on this, then don't do it. If you wind up being able to crank out 8-9 shows a month, you're satisfied with their quality, and you're having fun with it, great. If you need to take time away from it once in awhile, don't be afraid to do that. I've recently discovered in my own diary that trying to force myself to work on it when I'm not in the mood only results in write-ups that I'm not happy with, and makes me less interested. So, bottom line: have fun!

Look at me, attempting to dispense diary/dynasty advice with my whole less-than-3-months of experience

I appreciate all the comments, I truly do. I have pretty weak photoshop skills...or more properly, just a lack of patience with photoshop. But I've added photos for the 4 missing guys. As such Darren Burridge, Ryan Cruz, Darin Corbin and Prince Iaukea now have images. I think this gives the reader a better idea of who the character is so that makes it worth it!

As for the 8-9 shows a month. I am hoping to do that for the first couple months in an effort to build-up an audience. But realistically I just want to keep this fun!

I am thrilled at the early response, and will likely post the second revolution tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Again cheers guys! I truly appreciate it!

Oh and Critical as for Siaki. I've always liked the guy, dunno why. Ultimately i'd love to find a good use for him, and pairing him with one of my all-time favorites (Iaukea) seemed logical. They worked really well as a team, and perhaps we shall see a push for them in the future...

USWF Revolution

Emanating live from San Bernardino, CA at the Orange Show Center in front of 7,762.

Dark Match: Austin Creed vs. Brandon Thomaselli vs. Prince Iaukea vs. Oynx

Winner: Prince Iaukea pinned Thomaselli for the win

(Opening Pyro, and Pan to the Announce Desk where Dave Prasak and Joey Eastman are seated)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Dave_Prazak.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Joey_Eastman.jpg

DP: Well Joey glad you can join us this week, especially since last week I was stuck with that bumbling fool Mister Saint Laurent.

JE: Sadly, i've been informed the "Saint" of announcing is in the building and will likely be joining us later.

DP: Ugh, I hope you've been misinformed. Lets head backstage, where Jack Evans has been looking for the Macho Man.

(Camera pans backstage where Jack Evans finds Macho Man)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpg

JE: Excuse me Mr. Savage, I have a request for you.

MM: OHHH YAAAA! A request my friend, it better be good, lets hear it.

JE: Thank you sir, I just want the opportunity to face Shannon Moore again. I know you have some pull in this company and I would love the chance to prove to you that I am the real deal and that I am a legitimate contender for the lightweight title.

MM: Well son, I know Shannon already has a match for tonight, so I will make you a deal. Head to the ring, i've got you an opponent in mind. He is a former Cruiserweight champion, X Division champion and Tag Champion. He is PRIMETIME BABY! OHHH YAA!

(Back to the announce table)

DP: Oh boy, Jack Evans vs Elix Skipper, and its next.

Jack Evans vs Elix Skipper

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elix_Skipper.jpg

Quick Recap: Jack Evans is determined to prove to the Macho Man that he is capable of being a legitimate threat to be the first-ever lightweight champion of the USWF. He and Skipper put on a great show, and the fans get really into it. The ending comes when Jack Evans nails Skipper with a dropkick setting up the 630 Corkscrew for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Jack Evans (via 630 Corkscrew)

DP: What a great match, and with that win Jack Evans has earned a rematch with Shannon Moore.

JE: Good for him! You know he really proved that he can and will be force to be reckoned with in the future. Great match for the Young Lion out of the Dungeon.

(We return from break to see Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway talking to one another)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Conway.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg

ND: Rob, all I have say is that both of us have been screwed over in the past. Tonight we need to go out there and just take care of business.

RC: Jordan and Burke are both experienced men, but I am confident that you and I will be able to do what we do, and get the 1-2-3.

(The two men shake hands and prepare to head the ring)

(Speaking of the ring we return there where Orlando Jordan and Elijah Burke are standing in full suits, Jordan has a microphone)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elijah_Burke.jpg

OJ: Ladies and gentleman, I know you were looking forward to seeing us destroy the so called Lords of the Ring. But Elijah and I were way too busy shopping in the Hills today and we are exhausted. So instead of us taking on these so called "LORDS", allow us to introduce the two newest members of Young Black and Rich. They go by the names of Ruckus and Sabian.

Tag Tournament

Lords of the Ring vs. Young Black and Rich (Ruckus and Sabian)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Conway.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sabian_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ruckus_2.jpg

Quick Recap: Prior to the match head referee Nick Patrick sends Jordan and Burke to the back. The Lords of the Ring work extremely well together and Rob Conway looked excellent throughout the match. Ultimately Ruckus is thrown to the ring floor and Nick Dinsmore hits the Lords Suplex on Sabian for the 1-2-3.

Winners: The Lords of the Ring (via Lords Suplex on Sabian)

DP: The Lords of the Ring dispatch of Young Black and Rich. And boy did Dinsmore and Conway look like the team to beat.

JE: Indeed, they have to be the favorites to win this tournament.

(Just then Mister Saint Laurent joins the announce team)

MSL: Sorry I am late! Wait who am I kidding, you two make a terrible announce team and I was tired of listening to you two fools bumble on about how excellent everyone is! Lets just say that the Dinsmore was much better as a retard.

DP: Saint, that is just wrong. Nick Dinsmore is a wrestling machine, and he is definitely out to prove the cynics like you wrong.

___________________________________

(Ravens CAW and the lights dim and change to a purplish color)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg

Raven: They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night. And as I sat in the back and thought who should be the face of this budding company, I thought WHAT ABOUT ME! WHAT ABOUT RAVEN! It was then that I realized that the only way to prove my strength to the world would be to fight under my own rules. In tonight's main event, I challenge, anyone, anyone, in the back to come take-on the Raven, 1-on-1, Raven's Rules! (Raven pauses and raises his arms into the crucifix position). Quoth the Raven....NEVERMORE.

DP: Boy, oh boy! Raven has issued an open challenge to anyone in the back for tonight's main event!

JE: One can only guess who will answer the challenge. Folks we will be back after this quick break.

(During the commercials the fans see a video of Trish Stratus that hypes the fact that her "man" is coming to rule the USWF...soon)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Trish_Stratus_2.jpg

(Back from commercials REDRUM heads to the ring to face Sonny Siaki, who is already waiting in the ring)

REDRUM vs Sonny Siaki

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sonny_Siaki_2.jpg

Quick Recap: James Mitchell's beast faces a comparable challenge from Sonny Siaki in the size department, but in the end REDRUM is simply much stronger than Siaki. He sends Siaki into the ropes before snapping him up high above his head and hitting the RELLIK brainbuster on him for the 1-2-3.

Winner: REDRUM (via RELLIK)

(Post-Match James Mitchell climbs into the ring)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/James_Mitchell.jpg

JM: It is only a matter of time before the entire roster will fall to there knees in front of my monster. Once again we have proved that his murderous path will not be stopped by any mere mortal. So whoever comes into the ring next, be prepared, for...REDRUM.

(The camera pans back to the Locker Room where Torrie Wilson is seen massaging Shawn Spears prior to his up-coming match)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Torrie_Wilson.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpg

Torrie: Good luck out there babe, I know you'll be fine. (She then kisses Spears on the lips and walks out to let him get mentally prepared).

Shawn Spears vs. Ken Doane

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpg

Quick Recap: Shawn Spears is accompanied to the ring by Torrie Wilson, and hopes to keep up his winning ways. Ken Doane however has other plans. At various points throughout the match both men appear to have a win within grasp, but ultimately Ken Doane hits the Sky-High Leg Drop for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Ken Doane (via Sky High Leg Drop)

(Torrie rolls into the ring to care for Spears, and Doane has grabbed a microphone)

KD: In case you all don't know me, I am Ken Doane, and I hope made it clear tonight by beating your favorite adult film star, that I am here to win. I am not here to be cheered, I am here to make a point. Ken Doane is here for one reason and that is to win by any means necessary. Oh and Spears, Torrie...(Chuckles) Don't quit your day job.

(Back to the announce table where the announcers are abuzz with excitement)

DP: Ladies and Gentleman we have been told that the production truck has a video from the man who has answered Raven's challenge. So without further adieu, boys play that video...

(The screen goes dark, words appear... Throughout history, you and I have shown that we are the definition of hardcore. We are of a different breed of wrestler. We are the true innovators of hardcore. But in the end, I am ONE OF A KIND!)

JE: Man oh man if that is who I think it is, I am getting the chills already.

MSL: Joey did you perhaps consider that those chills are from the fact that it is cold in this building???

DP: Saint, seriously cut it out, no one wants to hear what you have to say. Hell I'd rather here what this "punk" backstage has to say.

(We cut to Shannon Moore making his entrance with a microphone in hand)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg

SM: It has come to my attention that I am the man to beat in this lightweight division. People are begging for matches with me. Hell wrestlers are even coming in from Japan just to face me. Rumor even has it that Jack Evans has requested a rematch with me. So like any true rock star, let me introduce you to my executive director of security... MARK JINDRAK. http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mark_Jindrak.jpg

(Jindrak walks to ringside and greets Moore. Together they wait for CIMA's entrance.)

Shannon Moore vs. CIMA

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/CIMA.jpg

Quick Recap: With his new "Executive Director of Security" standing-by Shannon Moore worked over CIMA. Specifically targeting his bandaged shoulder. CIMA attempts to get some action going but is nailed by the Moorgasm for the pin.

Winner: Shannon Moore (via Mooregasm)

DP: I'll tell you what guys Shannon Moore looks more and more like the man to beat when it comes to the lightweight division. We now know for a fact that he will face Jack Evans in a rematch on Fusion this saturday.

JE: Yes indeed, the match is signed, Moore vs Evans part 2 at Fusion. These two had a great match last week, and it looked like Evans had it won but he missed the 630 Corkscrew and that allowed Moore to capitalize.

MSL: Moore just baited him in, you all just wait and see. On Saturday it'll be Moore standing tall once again!

DP: I guess we will just wait and see! But with that the we have this to announce...

(Video Plays, hyping the "Lightweight Initiative 3-way" and its coming up next. The match will feature 3 of the USWF's lightweights who could potentially be contenders for the lightweight title. Ultimo Dragon, Peter Gruner, and Homicide)

Ultimo Dragon vs. Peter Gruner vs. Homicide

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ultimo_Dragon.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Billy_Kidman.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpg

Quick Recap: This match is part of the USWF's initiative to develop the lightweight division and help the brand grow as a whole. These three men are all veterans and all three have held titles in major promotions. Ultimo Dragon and Gruner (Kidman) are quite familiar with each other and that showed throughout the match as they both hit some great spots. Homicide was the darkhorse in this match and for awhile it looked like he may have the win within grasp but ultimately Gruner and Dragon double-teamed him and knocked him out with a superkick/russian leg sweep combination. This allowed Gruner and Dragon to focus on one another and in the end it was Gruner going up top and hitting the Shooting Star Press for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Peter Gruner (pins Ultimo Dragon via Shooting Star Press)

(Post-Match Dave Prazak passes along the following note)

DP: Before we head to the main event we have just been informed of another match for Fusion, we will see Peter Gruner face off against Homicide and this match will definitely have a huge impact on the lightweight title picture! Now lets head to the ring announcer for the MAIN EVENT!

Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentleman, this is your MAIN EVENT! And it will be fought under RAVEN'S RULES!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3jROS3J9e0

RA: Introducing first, weighing 240 pounds, from the The BOWERY...THIS IS RAVEN!!!!

(Raven enters, poses in the crucifix pose, then slumps into the corner to await his opponent)

(The arena goes black and a countdown appears on the screen...5-4-3-2...)

(ONE OF A KIND)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bO5BAujCbk

And his opponent, from BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN, weighing 235 pounds...THIS IS ROB...VAN...DAM!!!

(RVD hops up onto the ring and does his signature R-V-D taunt)

MAIN EVENT RAVEN'S RULES

RVD vs Raven

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Van_Dam_2.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg

Quick Recap: The crowd was going wild, and both men lived up to expectations from the start. These two ECW veterans go head to head and pulled all the stops. quickly into the match Raven got a steel-chair and attempted to hit Van Dam with it but Van Dam ducked and nailed the Van Daminator. This was not enough for the win though, and Raven started to fight back. While RVD had his back turned doing the "R-V-D" taunt, Raven undid the turnbuckle pad and then dummied RVD into attempting a running splash into the corner. RVD was dazed and Raven took advantage setting up a chair in the middle of the ring and went for the evenflow but RVD countered out of it and in turn nailed Raven with a huge kick to the skull. He then hit Raven with the chair, leaving it draped over his chest...Rolling Thunder onto the chair...followed up by the 5-star Frog Splash for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Rob Van Dam (via 5-star Frogsplash)

DP: WOW! What a match! Ladies and gentleman that is all the time we have for this week, this has been Dave Prasak, Joey Eastman, and sadly Mister Saint Laurent for USWF Revolution only on TNT!

Quick Results:

Dark: Prince Iaukea defeated Austin Creed, Brandon Thomaselli and Onyx (pinned Thomaselli)

Jack Evans defeated Elix Skipper

Lords of the Ring defeated Young Black and Rich

REDRUM defeated Sonny Siaki

Ken Doane defeated Shawn Spears

Shannon Moore defeated CIMA

Peter Gruner defeated Ultimo Dragon and Homicide (pinned Dragon)

Main Event: RVD defeated Raven

Post-Show Notes: Raven and RVD wrestled an amazing match. It was by far the best match the USWF has seen and as such I suspect you haven't seen the last of this battle.

Also USWF Revolution got a 3.03 rating on TNT! We are more than pleased with this.

Overall, the fans really seemed to get into the show as it progressed. I hope this is a sign of things to come for the company!

Other News and Notes:

CIMA has asked for time off, after he and a worker yet to debut got into a confrontation backstage. CIMA also has requested time off to return to Japan to tend to additional personal issues. We hope to have him back in February.

Additionally, due to various scheduling conflicts the final first round tag tournament match can be seen exclusively on uswf.com. The match is between the Dark City Fight Club vs. Tyson Omega and Tyler Black. As such on Fusion the first of two semi-final matches will take place between The Resistance and 2 Cool. The second semi-final match will take place live on Revolution between the Dark City Fight Club and the Lords of the Ring. Lastly, we are in negotiations with a couple of pay-per-view providers and are hoping to have a deal in place this week. More details on this coming soon! But we expect to have a great PAY-PER-VIEW scheduled for you in FEBRUARY!

Confirmed for Fusion

Dark Match: Dark City Fight Club vs. Omega and Black (USWF.com web-exclusive)

Jack Evans vs. Shannon Moore

Peter Gruner vs Homicide

USWF Fusion

Dark Matches: DJ Darren Burridge vs Brandon Thomaselli

Winner: Thomaselli (via SAT Bomb)

Dark Match (USWF.com web-exclusive): Dark City Fight Club vs. Tyler Black and Tyson Omega

Winners: Dark City Fight Club (Advancing to the Second Round to face the Lords of the Ring)

USWF Fusion LIVE FROM THE COX Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Dave Prazak and Joey Eastman ringside!

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Dave_Prazak.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Joey_Eastman.jpg

(The show opens with James Mitchell and REDRUM walking backstage. They happen to run into "Too Hot" Scott Taylor. REDRUM unprovoked attacks him, tossing him into the wall. "Too Sexy" Brian Lawler runs in to try and save his partner but instead runs into the brick-wall that is REDRUM. Mitchell orders REDRUM to "Bring Him" and they head to the ring with Lawler)

REDRUM vs. "Too Sexy" Brian Lawler

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpgvshttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Brian_Lawler.jpg

Quick Recap: This match is purely a beat-down. Lawler was out from the start and REDRUM is just tossing him around for the hell of it. Eventually he hits the RELLIK and leaves victorious once-again.

Winner: REDRUM (via RELLIK)

Dave Prazak: Well, a disturbing start to Fusion to say the least. James Mitchell seems to have just ordered his monster to attack a random worker in the back and Brian Lawler wound up being brought to the ring to be a rag-doll.

Joey Eastman: Lawler has to be hurting and you would have to think this gives The Resistance a distinct advantage for this Wednesday on Revolution in the second round of the tag tournament.

Dave Prazak: It most definitely does give those French bastards an upper-hand, and we have seen already they will take any advantage they can get. Not to change subjects but coming up next we will have Peter Gruner facing Homicide in a continuation of the 3-way dance that Gruner won on Revolution by pinning the Ultimo Dragon.

(A video package highlighting the 3-way dance plays, and then the wrestlers head to the ring)

Peter Gruner vs. Homicide

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Billy_Kidman.jpgvs.http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpg

Quick Recap: Gruner and Homicide worked well together but in the end Peter Gruner definitely used his experience to take advantage of Homicide's weaknesses. He hit the Shooting Star Press for the 1-2-3 and came away with a decisive victory.

Winner: Peter Gruner (via Shooting Star Press)

(Backstage we see Shawn Spears and Torrie Wilson leaving the arena)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Torrie_Wilson.jpg

Shawn Spears: You know what babe! I have decided that tonight, it is just about us! No wrestling, just a night out in SIN CITY.

Torrie Wilson: Remember Shawn...what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

(Back from break Young Black and Rich are walking backstage. They come across a door that says "Executive Meeting" and barge right in)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elijah_Burke.jpg

Orlando Jordan: Yo! Excuse me guys! I need a favor....

(The camera pans into the room where we see Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Tazz, and Trish Stratus among others sitting around a conference table, Flair turns around and addresses the situation.)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ric_Flair.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mick_Foley.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Tazz.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Trish_Stratus_2.jpg

Ric Flair: WOOOOOOOO! Excuse me guys is more like what we should be saying. Listen here! You all might be the big men around here, but I am THE MAN around here! And my friends here and I are having an important meeting regarding the future direction of this company, so if you excuse us we are going to get back to work.

OJ: But Flair my man we have a request.

RF: Orlando, just do what you want. I am granting you a one-time use match-making privilege. Go make yourself useful.

OJ: Now thats what I am talking about! Someone giving us the respect we deserve.

(As we return from break, Young Black and Rich as made it to the ring for the announcement of the match they have booked for tonight.)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpg

Orlando Jordan: So listen here! I've been granted the right to make a match tonight, so I won't bore you with the details. After all I am so confident that my man Elijah can work well with Onyx and Ruckus that I am off to the craps table to double my wealth. So tonight you will see those three men, take on the Lords of the Ring. If we win, Elijah and I are replacing the Lords in the tag tournament!

(Back to the announce table)

DP: Oh jeez! Orlando Jordan has just taken full advantage of his power for the night and has booked the Lords of the Ring in a match that is nearly impossible to win.

JE: I beg to differ. We have seen Ruckus and Onyx before and both men seem to be unable to match up with the Lords of the Ring. I think Elijah Burke is the only wildcard here.

DP: Well here come the Lords so let us find out.

3 on 2 Handicap Match

Young Black and Rich (Onyx, Burke and Ruckus) vs. Lords Of The Ring

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elijah_Burke.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ruckus_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Onyx.jpgvs.http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Conway.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg

Quick Recap: The team of Young Black and Rich looked crisp early on, but as the match wore on the wrestling skills of Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore began to shine through. Late in the match Ruckus distracted the referee and Orlando Jordan hopped into the ring lining Rob Conway up for what appeared to be a spear. Rather than nailing Conway though he hit Elijah Burke who Nick Dinsmore had just irish-whipped right into Jordan. Burke is out and Jordan looks distraught, but has to leave the ring or his team will loss via disqualification. Dinsmore and Conway make quick work of the weaker two then hit the Lords Suplex on Burke for the 1-2-3.

Winners: Lords Of The Ring (Conway pins Burke after Jordan accidentally nailed him)

DP: Hah Orlando Jordan got a dose of his own medicine and the Lords of the Ring defend the spot they qualified for in the second round of the tournament.

(We return from break to see Ken Doane standing in the ring, he raises a microphone to speak)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpg

KD: Last wednesday, I began my rise to glory. I dismantled a wrestler who is a porn-star. What a challenge, phh. This week I am willing to challenge anyone to a match, and i guarantee I will dismantle them in under 5 minutes.

(OOOOHHHH YAAAA!)

DP: It sounds like the Macho Man has heard enough!

JE: Look Dave! That's not the Macho Man...that's...well thats the man once referred to as Black Machismo...thats Jay Lethal!

Ken Doane vs Jay Lethal

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpgvs.http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jay_Lethal.jpg

Quick Recap: Try as he may Lethal was utterly overmatched here and Doane made that obvious. He hit the Sky-High Leg Drop and won in well under 5 minutes.

Winner: Ken Doane (in under 5 minutes via Sky-High Leg Drop)

Post-Match: Doane starts to beat-down Lethal but Macho Man Randy Savage comes flying in to stop Doane, he scares Doane off, and helps Lethal to his feet. (Macho Man has grabbed a microphone)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpg

RS: You know what, I have to say I respect these young guys brother! I respect guys like Jay Lethal trying to make it up the ladder. OOOOH YAAAA! But what I don't respect is jackasses like Ken Doane making a mockery of this sport. Ken you need to learn RESPECT! So with that, let me introduce you to a man who has earned my respect and is dying for a shot. JACK EVANS!

(And with that we head to the main event!)

Jack Evans vs. Shannon Moore

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpgvs.http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg

Quick Recap: Moore and Evans once again put on an amazing show. Both men hit all the big spots and the fans were screaming. Late in the match it looked like Evans was going to go for the 630 Corkscrew but he backed off and went with a lower-risk move. This would end-up being his downfall as Moore kicked out at 2 and then the "Executive Director of Security" Mark Jindrak jumped up onto the ring apron distracting Nick Patrick and allowing Shannon Moore to hit a low-blow and then roll Evans up for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Shannon Moore (via Low-Blow/Roll-up after Evans was distracted by Mark Jindrak)

Post-Match: Moore and Jindrak taunt Evans in the ring as the show goes off the air!

Quick Results:

Dark Matches: Brandon Thomaselli defeated DJ Darren Burridge

The Dark City Fight Club defeated Tyler Black and Tyson Omega (Advances to Second Round)

REDRUM defeated "Too Sexy" Brian Lawler

January 23rd (One Day Before Revolution)

USWF COMPANY NEWS

Great news to all USWF fans! First and foremost, we have signed a Pay-Per-View Contract and will be broadcast nationally through Brighthouse. The deal is a 6 month deal, allowing it to act as a placeholder until we are more established! We also can proudly announce three separate working agreements with international promotions. AAA (Mexico) as well as Pro Wrestling NOAH and New Japan Pro Wrestling have all agreed to a working agreement with us. This will immensely help us greatly as we will be able to temporarily have workers on the roster who can help us grow and send some of our workers overseas to get them experience!

We are also proud to announce the first pay-per-view will take place the first Sunday of February (There are two remaining episodes of each show prior to the pay-per-view)! We realize this is soon, but we want to put this promotion on the map and I feel like this is the only way to do it! We can confirm all three titles will either be defended or awarded at this show. We can also confirm that this show will be entitled USWF Night to Remember.

The plan is for us to use these working agreements to host the First Annual World Cup of Wrestling. While the plans are not final I can confirm that this will be an awesome event that will be scored on a point-system with the winning country being crowned the winners of the World Cup of Wrestling. Expect more details on this in the near future.

Lastly, I don't quite yet want to spill the beans, but if all goes according to plans the Pay-Per-View will have two megastars making there respective debuts for the company.

Great thinking. I am a sucker for those kinds of competitions. With working agreements with NOAH and NJPW, you should be able to put together a hell of a team for Japan.

Keep at it, fella. This is officially one of my "must-read" diaries.

(Opening Pyro and Introduction, the companies theme comes on and here come Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Tazz and Trish Stratus. They are joined by Antonio Inoki, Stan Hansen and Mikey Whipwreck. Mick Foley has a microphone.)</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mick_Foley.jpg</span></p><p>

Mick Foley: Ladies and Gentleman, I bet you didn't expect to see me here. But I am here, and along with these fine gentleman, and lady to introduce you to the USWF Board of Directors. The seven of us are working together to make matches, make decisions and make sure this promotion is run properly, and not straight into the ground. (At this point Ric Flair grabs a microphone).</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ric_Flair.jpg</span></p><p>

Ric Flair: WOOOOOOOOO!!! That's right, in order to beat the man, we really really have to be the man! And with this executive board we are going to be able to do just that! We will be able to manage this company through thick and thin. The faces have representation, the heels have a place to voice their complaints, and the fans...well the fans are in for an amazing show!!! </p><p>

(The other members of the board all continue the spiel and the fans erupt in applause)</p><p> </p><p>

(Back from break we join Dave Prazak and Joey Eastman ringside)</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Dave_Prazak.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Joey_Eastman.jpg</span></p><p>

DP: What an amazing announcement for the Board of Directors! And what an amazing group of individuals.</p><p>

JE: Perhaps even better we have been informed that we will no longer be joined by Mister Saint Laurent.</p><p>

DP: Yes indeed he has been reassigned to backstage interviewing duties! Thank you!</p><p>

JE: Well with that lets hit the ring!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jay Lethal vs Homicide</strong></p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jay_Lethal.jpg</span>VS<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpg</span></p><p>

Quick-Recap: This was a match between two wrestlers looking to make an impact on the lightweight division. These two men really didn't click like we expected them to, but both are great in the ring and made it work. Lethal ultimately hit the Lethal Injection for the 1-2-3</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winner: Jay Lethal (via Lethal Injection)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

(Backstage we see Torrie Wilson and Shawn Spears. Spears presents Torrie with a bouquet of flowers. They kiss and Spears smiles, promising to take her to the Golden Gate Bridge after the match)</p><p>

Spears gives Torrie a bouquet of flowers and then they kiss. Spears promises that after he wins tonight he will take Torrie to the Golden Gate Bridge...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Shawn Spears vs. The ALPHA MALE Monty Brown</strong></p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpg</span>VS<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Monty_Brown.jpg</span></p><p>

Quick-Recap: The Alpha Male is making his debut and he absolutely mauls Spears. Sending him flying with the pounce for the 1-2-3.</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winner: Monty Brown (via the Pounce</span></strong>)</p><p>

Post-Match: Torrie Wilson has crawled into the ring to check on Spears. Brown is still standing in the ring and as Torrie is crawling out of the ring he spanks her and then requests a microphone.</p><p> </p><p>

MB: Guess who is back? The ALPHA MALE of this promotion, point blank! The ALPHA MALE IS BACK...PERIOD. So you better be ready for it!</p><p> </p><p>

(We head backstage where Raven is seen sitting in a dimly lit room)</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg</span></p><p>

Raven: Rob, the simple fact of the matter is, you have merely won one battle in a long war. The Raven is biding his time, until I can physically dismantle you piece by piece. At Night To Remember you and I will meet, one on one. And while new board of directors is still determining the stipulations for me to destroy you I will tell you one thing...the clock is ticking. Quoth the Raven....NEVERMORE!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Tag Tournament</em></p><p>

<strong>Lords Of The Ring vs Dark City Fight Club</strong></p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Conway.jpg</span>VS<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Kory_Chavis.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jon_Davis.jpg</span></p><p>

Quick Recap: The Dark City Fight Club is a tag team with great potential, but it was not to be recognized in this match as the far more experienced Lords of the Ring were able to isolate Kory Chavis before Rob Conway put him away for the 1-2-3.</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winners: Lords of the Ring (Conway pinned Chavis (advancing to the finals))</span></strong></p><p>

Notes: Kory Chavis and Nick Dinsmore were both struggling through the match, but Rob Conway once again carried the match.</p><p> </p><p>

(Backstage we see Jack Evans loosening up when he is violently attacked by Jindrak and Moore)</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mark_Jindrak.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg</span></p><p>

Dave Prazak: What a violent attack by Jindrak and Moore, you really do have to wonder if he will be able to compete tonight. And if he is there is no chance he will be one-hundred percent.</p><p> </p><p>

(We return from break where The Resistance are in the ring, with the French Flag set-up)</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sylvain_Grenier.jpg</span></p><p>

Rene Dupree: Listen here you stupid Americans! Tonight we face another road-block set-up for us on the way to Gold.</p><p>

Sylvain Grenier: Speaking of Gold, you fools seem to think you know a little something about Gold. But let me tell you this. You know nothing about gold. You don't know a thing about anything.</p><p>

Rene Dupree: Listen to you people! You are booing us, and yet we were told you were the most open and understanding people in America...maybe thats only for people who dress like girls, or are unsure of who they are...</p><p>

(Before they can continue 2 Cool's theme-song hits and the team comes to the ring. Lawler is bandaged-up from the attack we saw on Fusion)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Tag Tournament</em></p><p>

<strong>The Resistance vs 2 Cool</strong></p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sylvain_Grenier.jpg</span>VS<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Scotty_2_Hotty.jpg</span><span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Brian_Lawler.jpg</span></p><p>

Quick-Recap: Lawler's injury really hindered him throughout the match and in the end he was worthless. Grenier and Dupree hit the Eiffel Tower on Taylor for the 1-2-3, and The Resistance moved on into the finals.</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winners: The Resistance (Dupree pins Taylor after an Eiffel Tower (The Resistance advance to the finals.)</span></strong></p><p>

Post-Match: Lords of the Ring step out onto the ramp and a staredown ensues. Officially announced as the finals for the Tag Championship in 7 days on Revolution!</p><p> </p><p>

(We return from break and prepare to head straight back to the ring on this impact filled day of Revolution)</p><p>

<strong>Jack Evans vs Mark Jindrak</strong></p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpg</span>VS<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mark_Jindrak.jpg</span></p><p>

Quick-Recap: Despite the size difference between these two men they worked incredibly well together. Jindrak tried to work Evans over and clearly was trying to pulverize him. In the end though it was Jack Evans reversing a suplex attempt and then getting in some great offense and hitting the 630 Corkscrew for the 1-2-3.</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winner: Jack Evans (via 630 Corkscrew)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

(We head backstage where Ken Doane is seen walking, he turns the corner and plows straight into Colt Cabana who is talking on a cell-phone telling someone that he has been signed by the USWF...Doane takes exception)</p><p>

Colt Cabana: Oh I am so sorry man, I didn't mean to run into you...just trying to tell my family back home that I just signed with this great company... The names Colt by the way.</p><p>

Ken Doane: I don't care who you are, if you are a real man, you'll meet me in the ring, NOW!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ken Doane vs Colt Cabana</strong></p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpg</span>VS<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Colt_Cabana.jpg</span></p><p>

Quick-Recap: Ken Doane seemed a bit off his game early which allowed Cabana to get some great offense in, but in the Doane hits the Sky-High Legdrop for the win.</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winner: Ken Doane (via Sky-High Leg Drop)</span></strong></p><p>

Notes: Doane was off his game, but Cabana did a great job in carrying him to a good match.</p><p>

Post-Match: </p><p>

Ken Doane: This place is a retirement village. Its obvious that when the top young talent they can bring in other than myself is a kid who cannot even watch where he is walking. I am the only true superstar at this company and at Night to Remember I am more than willing to end the career of that so-called legend who interfered in my business last week. Savage, you and me, one on one...I will end your career.</p><p> </p><p>

(We go live via satellite to Battle Creek, MI where Rob Van Dam has a message for Raven)</p><p>

<span>http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Van_Dam_2.jpg</span></p><p>

RVD: Raven, my man, glad to know you want more. I personally am still recovering from my return to the ring. But I will say this much, we you and I go toe-to-toe once again lets make sure that we leave nothing in the tanks. So while you picked the first match, I suggest you and I go one on one, LAST MAN STANDING.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Quick-Recap: What a match! These two men showed exactly why the lightweight divison is such a focal point of the USWF. Both men appeared to have it won, but Shannon Moore just wanted it more in the end. He hit the Mooregasm and stopped Gruner cold.</p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winner: Shannon Moore (via Mooregasm)</span></strong></p><p>

USWF Fusion

January 27th

USWF Fusion from Phoenix, AZ Attendance 1,237

Dark Match

2 Cool vs Thomasellis (Sal and Brandon)

Winners: 2 Cool via Worm/Leg Drop

Show Opens

(Opening pyro and camera pans to the ring where Mick Foley is prepared to make two major annoucements!)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mick_Foley.jpg

Mick Foley: Ladies and Gentleman the USWF is growing exponentially, night by night, and tonight we are continuing that growth. I am here to officially announce that on February 10th, 15 days from now, we are hosting our first ever PAY PER VIEW! USWF Night to Remember! I promise it will be a truly memorable night. We will have a ton of amazing matches, and will crown a lightweight champion. Oh wait I forgot, we will also crown the first ever USWF World Champion! And thats not all, at Night to Remember we will know which country will reign supreme in the World Cup of Wrestling that we announced on USWF.com! I know I cannot wait, and I know you should be more than pumped for this show. Oh and while I am thinking about it, lets make a match for right now...coming up next will be a WORLD CUP of WRESTLING PREVIEW match. It will feature four of the teams! Homicide will represent the World team, Ultimo Dragon will represent Japan, Doug Williams will represent England, and Petey Williams will represent Canada.

World Cup Preview

Homicide vs. Ultimo Dragon vs. Doug Williams vs. Petey Williams

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ultimo_Dragon.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Doug_Williams.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Petey_Williams.jpg

Quick Recap: This match was an amazing way to introduce the crowd to the World Cup. All four competitors were very evenly matched and this made for a very interesting match. In the end Doug Williams and Petey Williams started to brawl and ultimately Doug Williams locked Petey into a submission hold, but before Petey tapped, Homicide hit Ultimo Dragon with a Cop Killa and covered him for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Homicide defeated Ultimo Dragon via Cop Killa.

(Post-Match we head backstage where Jack Evans is talking with Tazz)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Tazz.jpg

Jack Evans: Tazz, I want to face Jindrak and Moore on Revolution. Those punks need an attitude check.

Tazz: Jack, i've got a better idea, TONIGHT...and why Jindrak...instead i've got an idea. Tonight lets kill two birds with one stone. It will be you and ROB VAN DAM versus Shannon Moore and RAVEN. Then on Revolution you can find yourself a partner and we will have you and your partner take on Moore and Jindrak. So you have two more shots at Moore in tag action...because I am officially announcing that at Night to Remember...it'll be you versus Shannon Moore for the Lightweight Title...IN A LADDER MATCH.

Dave Prazak: WOW! We have the first official match for Night to Remember booked! And its a ladder match for the Lightweight Title! What an amazing match! Now lets head back to the ring for a match between two men who with their respective partners will be facing eachother this Wednesday on Revolution for the Tag Titles!

Sylvain Grenier vs Rob Conway (Partners are ringside)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sylvain_Grenier.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Conway.jpg

Quick Recap: These two men know each other well. In fact they were three time Tag Champions together. But tonight they fight like the true enemies they now are. Late in the match Rene Dupree tosses Grenier the French Flag, but before it can be used Nick Dinsmore jumps in and clocks Dupree. But as this happens Grenier uses his flag to nail Rob Conway. Prompting an all-out brawl, and the referee to call for a double DQ.

DOUBLE DQ

(WOOOOOO!!!! The "Nature Boy" appears on the stage)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ric_Flair.jpg

Ric Flair: Man oh man, you four sure do love meddling in each others business. Well I am tired of it! Tonight Rene, Nick...you two can face eachother as well. But you'll go at it in a Steel CAGE! That should fix any problems with interference.

(Backstage James Mitchell and REDRUM are talking to Mister Saint Laurent)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/James_Mitchell.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpg

James Mitchell: Time is merely ticking, second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, before REDRUM destroys the entire roster. At Night to Remember the powers that be have told me they have found a TRUE monster to face REDRUM...We shall see about that. Until then, the clock will keep ticking...and tonight, REDRUM will KILL...AGAIN!

(We return from break with Tyler Black awaiting REDRUM in the ring)

REDRUM vs. Tyler Black

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Tyler_Black.jpg

Quick Recap: Tyler Black got some offense in, but in the end James Mitchell's monster absolutely manhandled Black. Lifting him up and nailing him with the RELLIK for the 1-2-3.

Winner: REDRUM (via RELLIK)

Notes: These two had great chemistry and made for an enjoyable match

(As we return from break the ring crew is seen preparing the ring for the cage match!)

Cage Match

Rene Dupree vs Nick Dinsmore

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg

Quick Recap: Grenier and Conway are ringside, but neither man even tries to get into the cage. Both Dupree and Dinsmore used the cage to their advantage and neither man attempted to escape. It was obvious both men just wanted to inflict pain on the other. In the end, Sylvain Grenier wound up slipping the flag through the cage. This allowed Dupree to beat Dinsmore and after an utter beat-down cover him for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Rene Dupree (Grenier passed the flag through the cage, and Dupree used it, which in a cage match is technically legal)

(Backstage Raven and Shannon Moore are sitting, bathed in candlelight)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg

Raven: Tonight the Prince of Darkness and I face off against two egotistical punks. One of those men stands between me, and destiny. Destiny that will be answered.

Moore: And the other man, well he is standing merely in the way of my title...

Raven: Either way, tonight, I promise pain, I promise suffering, I promise sorrow. Tonight Rob Van Dam...you will suffer. Quoth the Raven....NEVERMORE

(Moore grabs the candle and blows it out as the screen fades to black)

Main Event

Raven and Shannon Moore vs RVD and Jack Evans

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Van_Dam_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpg

Quick Recap: Wow what a match. RVD and Raven ripped into eachother, and Raven did attempt to cause damage to RVD, but in the end he took a bizarre, almost sadistical, approach as he slumped into the corner turnbuckle and watched as RVD nailed Moore with a 5-Star Frog Splash. Jack Evans then catapulted over the turnbuckles to take out the Director of Security Mark Jindrak. As RVD cautiously covered Moore for the 1-2-3.

Winners: Rob Van Dam and Jack Evans (RVD pinned Shannon Moore after a five-star frog-splash)

Post-Match: As RVD and Evans celebrated Raven stood-up laughed and stared RVD down before rolling out of the ring and exiting.

Post-Show Notes: The crowd really wasn't that into this show until the main event. Even utilizing the cage really didn't do much for the fans. I personally think we had a couple great matches, especially the main event and the World Cup Preview.

Life on the Undercard

OOC: While I am away from my computer with TEW on it I have decided to keep this diary active by utilizing other methods...below is the first attempt at this!

Also I wanted to thank those of you who nominated this for Rookie DOTM, it was a true honor, I am extremely thankful for the support! Also, as usual thank you for the continued support and comments! They mean a TON!

USWF.com exclusive. This is Life on the Undercard, an inside look at the life of some of the wrestlers you may not see everyday on USWF TV! We hope you enjoy the inside look!

Life on the Undercard...DJ Darren Burridge

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Darren_Burridge.jpg

Yo! What's up wrestling fan's. It's the "Pukka One" DJ Darren Burridge here to kick it with you on the first ever edition of Life on the Undercard. I am going to take you through life as a wrestler through my eyes.

My life officially changed in early December. I had heard through some sources that the USWF was accepting resumes and tapes of wrestlers looking to break onto the scene. I had always dreamed of coming to America and making it big so I decided to send in my tape and resume. I wasn't getting my hopes up, but I was intrigued by the possibilities. Well on December 27th I got the phone call that changed my life. The owner of the USWF had called and said that he loved what he had seen from my tape, and had the perfect idea for me. He asked if I could make it to America for a tryout show in early January, I immediately jumped on the offer, to which he responded good...because I mailed you a ticket already. I was in shock, they are PAYING FOR ME TO COME TO AMERICA???!!!! Needless to say he said the company was holding a private "tryout" show in Dallas, Texas in early January. The show would not be televised and no public audience would be allowed in the building. Needless to say I was hyped.

I arrived in Dallas for the show and was understandably a bit nervous. I was wrestling for a contract, and I had no clue who I was wrestling. I arrived at the facility two hours early and sat down in the locker room. I looked around and instantly recognized some of the guys around me. These guys weren't just everyday indy workers, this were former Champions in the WWE, WCW and ECW, and TNA. These were major names. Just as I was getting starstruck one of these men walked up to me and introduced himself. It was none other than Brian Lawler, GRANDMASTER SEXAY to you WWE fans. Not only was he really down to earth, he said that he had personally requested to face me tonight in the tryout match. I had learned that he was one of the companies first wrestlers to sign-on full-time. At this time it sounded like he was going to be a singles wrestler here with the USWF, but as we now know, he was reunited with Scott Taylor.

He and I headed down to the ring and chatted with the road agents, both men respective legends, and I showed him some of the moves I was hoping to showcase (Bridging German Suplex, The PUKKA Elbow, The Rings of Sovereign, and the Chav Lock). The agents seemed pleased with my ideas, and said that they had plans for my character (I thought this was a tryout, but they were certainly willing to help me out). The owner then came out and introduced himself personally, and he and I had a great chat. We talked about the character that I had been portraying for 1PW and he immediately said that he loved the Pukka character but chances are it wouldn't be huge here in America especially since most American's don't have a clue what Pukka is, or even means. That said he loved the Fuzzy Dice I utilize in my ring entrance and said that he was hoping to make my character a European (phew, since I am) Trance/Techno DJ. I loved the idea, and I am really excited about what this holds in the future. But for now I had to focus on the match.

As the conversation ended he told me to head to the back and get ready to perform in 15 minutes. Those 15 minutes are a blur, I got dressed, and I got ready to head to the ring. The match itself was awesome. Brian and I went at it for somewhere around 10 minutes before he hit his finisher and finished me off. Post-match I was handed a piece of paper and a check. I assumed the paper was a review of my performance so I put it in my locker and got dressed in street clothes to head to the post-show meeting. During said meeting the owner asked me if I was ok with the stipulations of the contract and I was shocked. Turns out the paper was my contract offer!!! They offered to pay my relocation fees and will help me get a work VISA for the next 6 months. I was ecstatic. During the post-show meeting we (meaning the wrestler of the USWF) were told that we would be holding two televised shows a week starting on Wednesday (this was a saturday) with another on Saturday, but would run a house show on Tuesday's and Sunday's. This is easily the most i've been asked to work in a week, but I was just shocked to be a member of the roster.

At that first show I faced a wrestler by the name of Onyx in a pre-show match, although he got the win, I was able to play up to the fans, and get some good offense in. During the post-show meeting the creative team said they loved where the character could go in the future, but for now I would be used to get the fans into the show early. My character is a fun-loving DJ! I have a sweet theme-song with a great beat. Plus my entrance lights are AWESOME! At this meeting I was also informed that I would be making my national TV debut at the next show. I'd be facing a wrestler who made a name for himself in the WWE and WCW as Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli. However I was facing him here in his new "MONSTER" character that he created for himself. I really love the character and think that he is a really great wrestler. Although I lost again, I got a chance to dance out to the ring and hand a pair of fuzzy dice to a fan in the front row. Seeing that lads face light up was a major highlight. Post-match I went backstage and we recapped the match. This is common practice in the business. The agents were pleased with how I worked the crowd pre-match but had some critiques for how I sold some of REDRUM's moves. After all we are pushing him as untouchable! I was told that on Sunday (a day after my TV debut) I would be wrestling in the house show against a guy I knew all too well. After all the guy was my former tag team partner in 1PW. Colt Cabana. I was more than pumped. Colt and I are good friends, and I knew he had applied to join the company, but he had officially signed the paper-work that night.

House shows are a bit different, the company often tests out characters or gimmicks at these shows. They also try to find chemistry between workers. So when Colt and I wrestled they used him as a heel. However the local fans didn't really respond to his promo (and this guy has GREAT charisma), so the company decided to push him as a face for his TV debut. Back to the actual match, he and I wrestled a great match, and while I cannot give anything away...we may just team together one day in the future if the characters we are working as currently don't catch on!

I had a night off on Monday, and Colt and I decided to go to LA and hang out in the city. We had a great time, and ultimately got ready for a house show (Tuesday) outside of LA. At that show I faced Ruckus (who would make his debut as part of Young, Black and Rich the next night on Revolution). Once again I took the loss, but Ruckus is another great, little known worker!

Post-show I boarded a red-eye flight for New York City and arrived in NYC at 8 AM Wednesday. I flew back to London that afternoon and packed all my stuff for what I hope is the next 6 months in America. I returned to America (SIN CITY to be exact) at around 5 PM on Saturday and was met by one of the Roadies at the airport. They loaded my stuff (4 suitcases that I will live out of for the next couple months) into a van and rushed me to the arena where I had less than an hour to script a match with Brandon Thomaselli that would open the show (another Dark Match). Brandon is a young guy, but he knows his stuff, and he and I put on another good match. I was obviously jet-lagged, but B-Thom really carried me out there and the match was well received. Post-Match I was approached by some of the creative side of the company who told me that we were going to be hosting the World Cup of Wrestling and that they wanted me to participate with Team England. I was shocked, and honoured and I cannot wait for you fans to see what we have in store.

With that, this has been Life on the Undercard. Another star will have something for you next time!!!

Thanks guys!

USWF Revolution February 2nd

USWF Revolution

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/revolution2.gif

Live from Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, CA

Opening Pyro

(Show opens with Young, Black and Rich in the ring)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Orlando_Jordan.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elijah_Burke.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sabian_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ruckus_2.jpg

Orlando Jordan: Yo, yo, yo...silence!!! We came here take control of the USWF. We wanted to make an impact, but instead, you all have held us back. Hell the white-men who rule this company have kept us off the air entirely. In fact they are now holding a WORLD CUP OF WRESTLING, and they didn't even invite us to represent the RICH. I mean seriously, we are some of the biggest stars this company has to offer, and we weren't even considered...man I think thats racism.

Dave Prazak: Well ladies and gentleman, and definitely pointed introduction to this weeks edition of USWF Revolution. But Young, Black and Rich's claim aside this week is going to be the biggest week in the history of the USWF. We not only have the World Cup of Wrestling but also the first ever pay-per-view USWF NIGHT TO REMEMBER!!!

Joey Eastman: Yes indeed Dave, and so far the card looks great, but its bound to get a lot, a lot better in the coming hours. And with that lets get the World Cup underway!

Mexico's Super Crazy and Crazy Boy vs England's DJ Darren Burridge and JekkeL

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Super_Crazy.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Crazy_Boy.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Darren_Burridge.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/JekkeL.jpg

Quick Recap: This tag match featured two luchadores flying around the ring against the much bigger Burridge and JekkeL and despite the size advantage the Crazies definitely had the advantage. In the end Crazy Boy hits JekkeL with the Quebrada for the 1-2-3.

Winners: Super Crazy and Crazy Boy (Crazy Boy pins JekkeL after hitting the Quebrada)

Dave Prazak: What a start, score two points for the Mexican team.

Joey Eastman: Yes indeed Mexico is off to a great start! And with that lets see how the World and Canada will fair versus one another.

World's Homicide vs Canada's Petey Williams

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Petey_Williams.jpg

Quick Recap: Homicide and Williams, despite extensive knowledge of one another, really didn't click at all, but in the end Homicide managed to hit to Petey Williams with the Cop Killa for the 1-2-3. The World has earned two points.

Winner: Homicide (Cop Killa)

(Backstage Raven is sitting in the boiler room)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg

Raven: Rob, you and I have battled a ton over the years, but every time the only thing that I can think of is how much fun it would be to dismember you. Piece by piece, part by part. So at Night To Remember I want to face you, one on one, once again. So at Night to Remember...or rather

Raven is backstage and challenges Rob Van Dam to a match at Night to Remember...or should he say Dismember...QUOTH THE RAVEN....NEVERMORE!

(We cut to a video showing Monty Brown's debut and subsequent spanking of Torrie Wilson...Speaking of Torrie Wilson she'll be ringside as her man Shawn Spears is taking the ring in tag action for team Canada...NEXT!)

USA's Colt Cabana and Jay Lethal vs Canada's Tyson Omega and Shawn Spears

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Colt_Cabana.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jay_Lethal.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Kenny_Omega.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shawn_Spears.jpg

Quick Recap: Cabana and Lethal are a truly underrated team, but Spears and Omega make a good team and manage to keep the American's off-balance. In the end though Lethal and Cabana's experience allows them to get the win.

Winners: Colt Cabana and Jay Lethal (Lethal pins Omega)

(Backstage Vito and Sal Thomaselli have a quick announcement)

Vito: We, the Thomaselli's are American's...but we are Italian Americans. Our father came here straight from the motherland of Italy! Therefore with the blessing of captain Homicide we are taking the final two spots for the World team here at this World Cup!

Japan's CIMA and Naomichi Marufuji vs the World's Vito Thomaselli and Sal Thomaselli

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/CIMA.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Naomichi_Marufuji.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Vito_Thomaselli.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sal_Thomaselli.jpg

Quick-Recap: The Thomaselli's may be proud Italians but the Japanese had the advantage from the start and made that excessively clear. In the end CIMA and Marufuji isolated Sal and picked up the win and two points for Japan!

Winners: CIMA and Naomichi Marufuji (Marufuji hit Sal with the Shooting Star)

Immediately following CIMA and Marufuji's win, Team Japan's Captain climbed into the ring and prepared for battle with England's Doug Williams.

Japan's Ultimo Dragon vs. England's Doug Williams

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ultimo_Dragon.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Doug_Williams.jpg

Quick-Recap: Doug Williams is widely regarded as a very solid wrestler but Ultimo Dragon had the crowd behind him and in the end locked in the Dragon Sleeper for the win. Giving Japan the overall lead early in the tournament.

Winner: Ultimo Dragon (Dragon Sleeper)

Dave Prazak: Man oh man does Japan look like the team to beat here early in this tournament. It is still early but Dragon, CIMA and Marufuji all managed to really dominated their respective matches.

Joey Eastman: Most certainly Dave and most intriguing is the fact that Japan's fourth member has yet to even be revealed. Rumor has it that NJPW has sent a true superstar to represent them!

(We return from commercial break with Randy Savage in the ring calling out Ken Doane, as Savage stares up the ramp Doane slides in the ring from behind with a chair and clocks Savage)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpg

Ken Doane: Savage! Let this be a warning. I will not only defeat you at Night to Remember but I will also end your career. I guarantee you will end up in the hospital...so you better have the medics on standby.

Dave Prazak: Ken Doane just jumped the "Macho Man", what a heinous attack.

Joey Eastman: Most definitely Dave, and with that we can officially confirm that at Night to Remember Ken Doane will face will Randy Savage in a Respect Match.

Dave Prazak: That will be a great match, and I truly hope that Savage destroys Doane. For now though we cannot dwell on this as we have another match-up in the World Cup coming up!

USA's Peter Gruner vs Mexico's Cibernetico

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Billy_Kidman.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Cibernetico.jpg

Quick Recap: We all had high hopes for this match but instead this match truly disappointed. Peter Gruner carried Cibernetico a lot and in the end he hit the Shooting Star for the win! Thus tying the USA with Japan after one day!

Winner: Peter Gruner (via Shooting Star Press)

(We cut to a video...The face of a clock is seen, suddenly blood runs down the clock and the words REDRUM take the place of the clock.)

Dave Prazak: What a creepy clip that was. James Mitchell truly does have a monster on his hands and REDRUM thus far has really not been challenged by anyone. At Night to Remember however he has reportedly been challenged by a true monster, but who could that be?

Joey Eastman: No clue Dave but I'll tell you what, whoever it is really better bring his "A" game because REDRUM is no joke, the guy is legit.

Dave Prazak: Yes he is Joey, but speaking of legit, these four men heading to the ring now are legit.

Mark Jindrak and Shannon Moore vs Jack Evans and Rob Van Dam

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mark_Jindrak.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Van_Dam_2.jpg

Quick-Recap: Wow what a match. All four men put on a show and the fans really got into it! All four men were flying, even Jindrak. The end saw Raven come down to ringside and stalk Rob Van Dam. This allowed Jindrak and Moore to double-team Evans and pick-up the win.

Winners: Shannon Moore and Mark Jindrak (Moore pins Evans after Raven stalks RVD)

Post-Match: (Mick Foley steps out onto the ramp) Foley: Raven, RVD...at Night to Remember you two will face eachother again. No doubt about that, but I want to raise the stakes. After careful consultation with my fellow board members, we are proud to announce that you two will face each-other with the USWF WORLD TITLE on the line. Oh ya, we have some more stipulations, but those will be finalized at Fusion! BANG BANG!

(We return from commercial break to see the ring announcer standing in the ring holding the Tag Titles!)

Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls...the following is scheduled for one fall and is for the USWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of 500 pounds, from Paris, France, Rene Dupree and Slyvain Grenier, THIS IS THE RESISTANCE.

)

Ring Announcer: And their opponents...weighing in at a combined weight of 485 pounds, Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore THESE ARE THE LORDS OF THE RING!

Quick-Recap: This tag tournament comes to a conclusion tonight and these two teams share no love. All four men put out a great effort and the titles appeared to be within grasp for the Lords of Ring. However Conway whipped Dupree into head referee Nick Patrick, stunning Patrick, and allowing Grenier to clock both Conway and Dinsmore with the French Flag. Patrick revived just in time to count 1-2-3 and reward The Resistance with the Tag Titles!

Winners AND NEW USWF WORLD TAG CHAMPIONS: The Resistance

(Post-Match Mick Foley comes back down to present The Resistance with the Tag Titles, as he is presenting the titles Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore stop him)

Nick Dinsmore: Mick! You saw what just happened! These two cheated to win these titles.

Rob Conway: If you have an decency you will grant us a rematch at Night to Remember.

Mick Foley: Hmm, boys you are right, I did see the clever tactics employed by the new champs...but you are right, it wasn't fully legal...so at Night to Remember it'll be a rematch...for the Tag Titles...in a FLAG MATCH!

USWF Press Release

February 5th

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/USWFlogo.jpg

USWF News:

First in a quick bit of sad wrestling news, former ECW Wrestler New Jack was found dead at the age of 45. Now onto the USWF news. The World Cup of Wrestling is underway, but not without some hitches. Previously announced members of the World Cup Perro Aguayo Jr, Nigel McGuinniess, and Claudio Castagnoli all backed out of the tournament, but each for different reasons. Claudio is joining the USWF full-time starting in a couple days, but before doing so he decided to honor a previous commitment to Ring of Honor. We are fine with this, and are glad he will be joining the company. Meanwhile, speaking of Ring of Honor Nigel McGuiness suffered a torn bicep in his final RoH match and will miss at least 4 months. This is a major disappointment for the obvious reasons, but we will welcome him to the roster in 4 months time. Lastly, Perro Aguayo and the company could not come to terms, as such he will be replaced by Nicho El Millionario in the World Cup. Nigel's injury came at a time where we could not get a replacement so Team England will participate with only 3 wrestlers. As for Claudio, he was replaced by former WWE star Kishi! We look forward to the tournament and hope you are ready to rumble!

What that means is that in order to win you must get a pinfall, and then your opponent must be unable to answer the standing 10 count from the referee.

Mikey Whipwreck: And speaking of referees we've decided to bring in a hardcore legend to make sure this match is fairly officiated...CACTUS JACK!!!

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/JekkeL.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Masahiro_Chono.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Kishi.jpg

Quick Recap: Kishi's ring rust showed as he was struggling. JekkeL looked good, but the Japanese Gambler Masahiro Chono showed why he is the one of the best in Japan. Chono hits JekkeL with the Yakuza Kick and Kishi is unable to break up the pin.

Winner: Masahiro Chono (Pinned JekkeL after Yakuza Kick. Japan earns two points, the World earns one for not losing.)

Notes: Kishi was way out of sync

As the show goes off the air the updated standings are shown...

World Cup of Wrestling Standings after Day Two (Four Matches)

USA 9
Japan 8
Mexico 5

Although not likely, it is still possible for every country to win, especially because the captains match is worth 2 points per pin, and 3 for the final pin, meaning that any country could earn 11 points.

USWF Night to Remember PREVIEW

USWF Night to Remember PREVIEW!

The Details:

HP Pavilion, San Jose, CA

Announcers: Dave Prazak and Joey Eastman

Matches: 9 Scheduled

World Cup of Wrestling

3 Singles Matches:

Davey Richards vs Tyson Omega

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Davey_Richards.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Kenny_Omega.jpg

-Davey Richards made a solid debut at Fusion defeating Don Paysan and Nicho El Millonario. Tyson Omega has been seen only in tag action, teaming with Shawn Spears and Tyler Black, so this will be his first time in the ring for singles action.

Masahiro Chono vs Kishi

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Masahiro_Chono.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Kishi.jpg

-The Japanese Gambler Masahiro Chono is one impressive wrestler. Not only did he easily handle Kishi and JekkeL in the 3-way dance, but he is also a numerous time heavyweight champion in Japan. This time Kishi gets his chance at victory as he will take on Chono one on one. This match could be very crucial to both teams chances!

Nicho El Millonario vs. DJ Darren Burridge

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nicho_El_Millonario.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Darren_Burridge.jpg

-The high-flying Mexican Nicho El Millonario has to be the definite favorite here do to his experience. But DJ Darren Burridge is a technically strong wrestler and has been performing extremely well as of late. Despite being the underdog definitely don't count him out.

Captains Match (Elimination, 2 pts per pin, Final Pin earns 3 pts): Homicide vs. Doug Williams vs Cibernetico vs. Ultimo Dragon vs. Petey Williams vs. Peter Gruner

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Doug_Williams.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Cibernetico.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ultimo_Dragon.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Petey_Williams.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Billy_Kidman.jpg

-This captains match features six of the top superstars the USWF has to offer competing in an elimination 6-man match-up with as many as 13 points on the line in the end. Clearly you can expect all six men to come out flying, and in the end only the strong will survive, and be crowned the World Cup of Wrestling champion.

REDRUM vs ???

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpgVS???

-James Mitchell's monster REDRUM is scheduled to take on a man that James Mitchell has been told is also a monster. The question is who will the monster be, and how will REDRUM take him out? This could prove to be the first challenge for REDRUM here in the USWF.

Randy Savage vs. Ken Doane (Respect Match)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Macho_Man.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpg

-Things got ugly quickly between legend Randy Savage and upstart Ken Doane. In fact Ken Doane has promised to end Savage's career by any means necessary. Savage on the other hand is not only a wily-veteran but also still in great shape. He has promised that Ken Doane will show him respect, and that he will beat Doane 1-2-3 at Night to Remember.

The Resistance vs. Lords of the Ring (USWF Tag Title Flag Match)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sylvain_Grenier.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Conway.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Nick_Dinsmore.jpg

-The Resistance won the tag titles just last Wednesday on Revolution but their underhand tactics prompted Mick Foley to book them in a flag match against the Lords of the Ring. The rules of this match are simple, each team will have two flags and they will be legal for use in the match.

Jack Evans vs. Shannon Moore (USWF Lightweight Title Ladder Match)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jack_Evans_2.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpg

-Jack Evans and Shannon Moore's feud took a nasty turn on Fusion when Evans was knocked of the ladder he was perched on and to the floor below. But rest assured Jack Evans has promised that he is not only healthy but the thought of a title match has given him strength he never thought he had. Meanwhile, the "Rockstar" Shannon Moore and his security guard Mark Jindrak seem hell-bent on seeing to it that Moore has the belt around his waist by the end of the night.

Rob Van Dam vs. Raven (USWF World Championship, Dismemberment Death Match, Guest Referee: Cactus Jack)

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Van_Dam_2.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpg

Guest Referee: http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mick_Foley.jpg

-Man oh man what a main event. Two of the extreme innovators of hardcore wrestling will be going toe to toe once again, but this time it is for the USWF World Title. Not only that but this match has been titled a Dismemberment Death Match and Cactus Jack will act as the guest referee. The only question left is who is capable of withstanding the on-slaught the longest?
