St. Patrick's Brawl PREVIEW

Colt Cabana vs. Elijah Burke

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Colt_Cabana.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Elijah_Burke.jpg

Young, Black and Rich has been attempting to make an impact, and of late have decided that Colt Cabana is there target. Just last night on Fusion, Young, Black and Rich beat-down Colt Cabana as he was fighting Kenny King. Admittedly there is little to no build-up to this match, but the Board of Directors were willing to let these two future stars duke it out live at the Brawl.

Hardcore Match

Mick Foley vs. Ken Doane

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Mick_Foley.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Ken_Doane.jpg

At Night to Remember Ken Doane was defeated by the "Macho Man" Randy Savage, but that seemed to only impact his win-loss record. After the match Doane brutally beat Savage to within an inch of his life. Savage was hospitalized but has not been on USWF TV since then. At the Brawl Ken Doane has promised to rid us of another legend. That legend, Mick Foley, seems to have other ideas up his sleeve as not only has he accepted the challenge he has decided that if Doane is to end his career it will be in a hardcore match.

Tag Titles

The Resistance {c} vs. Davey Richards and ???

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rene_Dupree.jpghttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Sylvain_Grenier.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Davey_Richards.jpgand ???

The ever so ****y team of Rene Dupree and Sylvain Grenier granted Davey Richards a shot at the Tag Titles after Richards nearly upset Dupree. Dupree is even letting Richards pick his partner. Davey Richards has promised a partner that has the ability to shock us all, and has also vowed to pull off the huge upset.

Hangman's Noose Match

REDRUM vs Raven vs Vampiro

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Johnny_Stamboli.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Raven_3.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Vampiro.jpg

The brain-child of James Mitchell, REDRUM, Raven and Vampiro will face each other in the first USWF Hangman's Noose Match. In order to win both of your opponents must be hung from a noose that is mounted in two of the corners. On paper none of these devils seem to have an advantage over the other, but time will tell.

USWF Lightweight Title

Shannon Moore {c} vs. Homicide vs. Jerry Lynn

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Shannon_Moore_2.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Homicide.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Jerry_Lynn.jpg

Shannon Moore has so far shown that he is a more than capable champion, but at the Brawl he doesn't have just one opponent but rather two to worry about. Both Homicide and Jerry Lynn have held championships before, and both seem anxious to win one in the USWF. The questions that remain for this match are, will the "Rockstar" be able to hold off two men? Will Jerry Lynn be able to stay on the same level as these two much younger wrestlers? And will Homicide be able to ground the aerial assault he will almost certainly face?

USWF World Championship

Rob Van Dam {c} vs. Brock Lesnar

http://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Rob_Van_Dam_2.jpgVShttp://uswf.wikispaces.com/file/view/Brock_Lesnar.jpg

Rob Van Dam became the USWF's first World Champion at Night to Remember, but tonight he faces the Beast, Brock Lesnar. Not only is Brock Lesnar an absolute monster, but he is the pet of Trish Stratus, so will she have a role in this match? Will Rob Van Dam be able to keep Brock from man-handling him? And will Brock be able to catch the speedy RVD?

PREDICTIONS

Elijah Burke vs. Colt Cabana

Ken Doane vs. Mick Foley (Hardcore Match)

The Resistance vs. Davey Richards and ??? (Tag Titles)

Raven vs. REDRUM vs. Vampiro (Hangman's Noose)

Shannon Moore vs. Homicide vs. Jerry Lynn (Lightweight Title)

RVD vs. Brock Lesnar (World Title)

Bonus: Who will Davey Richard's Partner Be?

Reminder: The Final Countdown went 6-3 at Night to Remember, but was also the only person to predict, and as such leads to prediction contest (which I've decided to extend until further notice, likely July's PPV, AMERICANA)

Completely, OOC, but this is a really weak PPV in comparison to the PPV's that come later. So please, predict, enjoy, and follow along...this ride has just begun.

Despite the fact that he was bleeding Foley was mounting a comeback when suddenly Doane nailed him with a pair of Brass Knuckles that he had hid in his shorts. Doane then grabbed a chair and went up top and nailed the Sky-High Leg Drop...just then <strong>Randy Savage</strong> appeared on the big screen and Doane was distracted. Savage suddenly came onto the stage and said that: "Kenny, you think you can beat legends by crippling them huh...well guess what, you failed. I am back OHHHH YAAAA!!!" What a match! Davey Richards continues to shine here in the USWF, as did The Resistance! Chris Sabin's debut shocked the fans of the USWF and they were firmly behind him. He and Davey were working together awesomely and seemed to have The Resistance way off their game. Davey Richards was rolling, and went to tag Sabin but Sabin hopped off the ring apron to "pump up" the crowd. Richards looked exhausted and The Resistance pounced nailing the Eiffel Tower for the 1-2-3. Post-match as The Resistance celebrated Davey Richards and Chris Sabin started arguing. Sabin kept insisting that he "didn't mean to miss the tag." Richards shook his head and turned to leave, but Sabin nailed him and then leveled him with the Cradle Shock. This allowed Raven to regroup and join in the fray. The three men went at it in what turned out to be a great brawl. Raven landed some huge punches on Vampiro, and while REDRUM regrouped Raven managed to hang Vampiro from the noose. James Mitchell did his best to stop Raven but in the end just wound up looking like a fool. Raven turned around and was leveled by a big boot to the face from REDRUM. Initially this seemed to be a distraction for Moore who was doubled teamed to start the match. However his speed and agility helped him wriggle his way out of a couple bad situations. The ending of the match was a great one as Jerry Lynn hit Homicide with the Cradle Piledriver for the 1-2-...Moore breaks the pin up, and nails Lynn with a kick to the gut. He goes flying off the ropes and levels Lynn. He throws Lynn out of the ring as Homicide stumbles to his feet. Lesnar leveled RVD with a series of punches but Rob kept fighting back. He ultimately got some kicks in and then got rolling. He was able to take Lesnar down, but couldn't keep him grounded. Lesnar hopped back up and started to toss RVD around the ring. He tossed RVD into the corner and then went charging but RVD moved and wound up nailing him with a huge kick to the ribs. Brock rolled out of the ring and grabbed a chair and as he hopped onto the ring apron with it Rob Van Dam nailed the Van Daminator and sent Lesnar flying. But while RVD was taunting (R-V-D) Lesnar rolled back in and nailed him with the chair. Nick Patrick called for the bell, but that didn't stop Brock. He has absolutely snapped, and nails Rob with the chair until he is bleeding...but he is not done. He sets the chair up in the middle of the ring and then lifts RVD over his shoulders and nails the Verdict as the show goes off the air.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Winner and STILL USWF World Champion: Rob Van Dam (via DQ)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> END SHOW</p><p> </p><p> Matches of the Night: All Three Title Matches</p><p> PPV Rating: 0.96</p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Hope you all enjoyed the show!</p><p> The Final Countdown went 5-1 and is now 11-4 overall. • 3 months later...

Yes indeed I am BACK! So I took a hiatus, but I have four months worth of shows written, so I am gonna start getting them up!...Starting right...NOW!

(Note: For now I am probably not going to throw the pictures in as usual (except for the PPV's for sure), this will just help me get the shows up, and catch-up! Hope that works!!!)

USWF Revolution

Live from the Arena at Trump Taj Mahal (Atlantic City, NJ)

Dark Match:

Nicho El Millonario vs. Super Crazy

Winner: Super Crazy (Crazy Bomb)

Show Opens

*Immediately we go to a video recapping St. Patrick's Brawl, RVD and Lesnar's match is shown in pictures, and the final images are of Lesnar standing over RVD, looking possessed.*

(Down to the ring heads a guy holding a Beer Bong, and wearing a cut-off Sigma Chi t-shirt, and Jeans)

"YO!!! What is up JERSEY!!! I am Chad Bro Chill, and I came to PARTY! I figured that there is nowhere better than right here in the home of the best parties, JERSEY! So with that...I brought myself a couple of gifts" (Chad pulls two beers out of his pockets) "So for my debut I figured I'd challenge the ultimate party DJ, DJ Darren Burridge to a Beer Bong Contest!!!" (Burridge heads down to the ring, the two men shake hands and then funnel the beers much to the crowds approval, the bell rings, and the fight begins)

Chad Bro Chill vs. DJ Darren Burridge

Recap: This was a great tilt between two youngsters, Burridge seemed to have the upper-hand for a bit, but Chad Bro Chill over-powered him later as he seemed to be getting stronger as the match went on. In the end he swept Burridge up and hit his finisher, aptly named "The Big Hit" for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Chad Bro Chill (The Big Hit)

Backstage Chris Sabin and Davey Richards are seen arguing about last night. They agree that the only way to solve this is like men, in the ring.

Chris Sabin vs. Davey Richards

Recap: Yet another glimpse of the future of the USWF. The American Wolf Davey Richards and Chris Sabin had a solid match and each man hit several great moves. In the end Davey Richards reversed Sabin's attempt at a Cradle Shock, and managed to take him down with a swift Super Kick to the jaw.

Winner: Davey Richards (Superkick)

A Graphic appears saying Brock Lesnar will be making an important announcement after the break.

Brock Lesnar is in the ring with Trish Stratus.

Trish: For those of you who didn't bother to order the Brawl, you missed Brock Lesnar absolutely destroy Rob Van Dam. And yet why doesn't he have the title around his waste? The answer is simple, we aren't here for the title. I brought Brock here for one thing, and one thing only. I brought Brock here to cause...

Brock: PAIN!

Brock Lesnar vs. Local Talent

Recap: Really? Brock beat the living hell out of the Guido in the ring, nailing the Verdict before locking the Stretch Muffler in for the submission victory.

Winner: Brock Lesnar (Stretch Muffler)

After the break we will see Homicide take on Shannon Moore's bodyguard, Mark Jindrak.

Mark Jindrak vs. Homicide

Recap: Jindrak has the size advantage, but Homicide has the skill to not only ground Jindrak but neutralize his arsenal of moves. Homicide nailed the Cop Killa and sent a message to Shannon Moore that he wants another shot at his title.

Winner: Homicide (Cop Killa)

We return from break to the ring where Vampiro is seen entering, he is flanked by numerous masked men.

Vampiro vs. Sean Morley

Recap: Vampiro and Sean Morley clicked right away and had a great match. Morley ultimately takes advantage of Vampiro and goes up top for the Money Shot...but the lights go out...

PA: DARKNESS FALLS

...1-2-3. Vampiro wins, and once again the lights go out, only to return and no one to be anywhere near the ring.

Winner: Vampiro (Only after the lights cut out and Morley is out-cold in the ring)

RVD is seen arriving at the arena, heavily bandaged, but with the title around his shoulder. We head to the boiler room where Raven is standing there holding a noose.

Raven: Darkness falls alright, at the Brawl, I rose above it all and did exactly what I said I would. I hung three men by there necks. I cut off the air supply. And this will continue until I decide to stop. And yet for one reason or another I get the feeling that James Mitchell seems to think this war isn't over, and that he can still unite the freaks to fight against me. So next week, James, bring on the next freak...one by one, darkness will fall...Quoth the Raven, Nevermore!

The camera man leaves the room and runs into the "All-American" Colt Cabana who is wandering around minding his own business when the Thomaselli boys run into him and Vito tells him that he wants a match with him and he wants it now. We cut to break.

Colt Cabana vs. Vito Thomaselli

Recap: Colt Cabana handles the smaller Vito, and is able to get the win pretty easily, but post-match, the Consulate hits the ring and absolutely annihilates Cabana. Claudio Castagnoli tells Colt that next week he will face the newest member of the Consulate.

Winner: Colt Cabana (Colt 45)

MAIN EVENT

USWF Lightweight Title

Shannon Moore {c} vs. Jerry Lynn

Recap: Jerry Lynn got this chance after his was not pinned during the brawl. He and Moore had a great match and the crowd was popping the entire time. Mark Jindrak nervously paced the ring the entire time, and as momentum began to shift towards Lynn, Jindrak jumped into the fray and nailed Lynn with the Lightweight Title. Nick Patrick called for the bell and Jindrak and Moore. Mark Jindrak nails Lynn with the Mark of Perfection and as Moore is getting ready to hit Lynn with the Mooregasm, Jack Evans ran in to stop the carnage. On Fusion we will see Evans and Lynn take on Moore and Jindrak

Winner: Jerry Lynn (by disqualification, Mark Jindrak used the title on Lynn and Nick Patrick caught it!)

TV Rating: 2.23 (OUCH, gotta get this up!)

Good to hear that this isn't dead. Also good to see Homicide picking up a win. Go, Notorious 187! :D

I don't have a problem with you leaving out pictures & stuff for now, at least on the TV shows. As long as you do whatever you can to emphasize your PPVs, that is.

Thanks for the support! You've been my biggest supporter, and it helps me keep going!...With that said, FUSION time.

Super Crazy vs. Ultimo Dragon

Recap: The announcers hype up the Lucha Libre Division and mention briefly that the Board of Directors is rumored to be in negotiations to launch a sub-brand for the Lucha Libre style. In this match we see two of the best, Super Crazy, and the Ultimo Dragon in a best of 3 falls match. Ultimo Dragon takes the first fall locking the Dragon Sleeper in, but Super Crazy sneaks back and nails a perfectly executed sunset flip to steal the second fall. The final fall also went to Super Crazy as he nailed the Crazy Bomb for the 1-2-3 and the outright win!

Winner: Super Crazy (Dragon wins fall one, but Super Crazy gets the next two for the win)

*Commercial Break*

During the break we are treated to a promo by Claudio Castagnoli and the Thomaselli's. Claudio tells us that they are all sick of being treated as like crap by Americans, as such they have joined forces and will be bringing the best of Europe to the USWF. They are calling themselves, THE CONSULATE.

The Consulate vs. The All-Americans (Colt Cabana/Jay Lethal/Lords of the Ring)

Recap: As we return from the break The Newly crowned Consulate are in the ring and are set to do action in a 8-man tag. The All-Americans (Colt Cabana's selected team name) worked well together and in the end it wound up with the Cabana and Castagnoli brawling eachother outside of the ring while Lethal, Conway and Dinsmore isolated the Thomaselli's. Rob Conway got the win on Salvatore after hitting the Ego Trip.

Winners: Team Cabana (Rob Conway pinned Salvatore Thomaselli after an Ego Trip)

Post-Match we head backstage for an interview with Shannon Moore and Mark Jindrak.

Shannon: Listen up peons, tonight, Mark and I are going to show you why we are the true definition of Rock. Jerry Lynn, and Jack Evans can try all they want but in the end the combination of Rock 'n' Roll are about to absolutely dominate this team that consists of an old-man, and an Eminem wannabe. Let's roll Mark.

*Commercial Break*

Shannon Moore and Mark Jindrak vs. Jerry Lynn and Jack Evans

Recap: This match was a show-stopper, all four men pulled out all the stops and the result was quite impressive. Mark Jindrak, despite being a bigger man, fit in well with the 3 lightweights and even hit some high-flying moves of his own. The finale of the match saw Jack Evans send Shannon Moore over the top and Jerry Lynn taking advantage of a Mark Jindrak mistake. Lynn somehow got Jindrak up and hit the Cradle Piledriver for the 1-2-3.

Winners: Jerry Lynn and Jack Evans (Lynn pinned Jindrak after the Cradle Piledriver)

OOC:

Oh it's me, it's me...its TEX. Haha, couldn't resist. I'm only a show writing role, and I am starting to get up to date. I was in Week 2 of March when I started, and I am currently booked through September, so I have PLENTY OF SHOWS to update, and keep you entertained, while I continue my academic pursuits. With that said, for now I am going to keep doing short-"er" recaps for Revolution and short recaps for Fusion until the PPV (and preview shows) which will be FULLY detailed. I really hope y'all enjoy, and comment. So without further adieu, the first of NUMEROUS shows that'll be coming in the next few days.

(After watching the Monday Night Wars on 1/4/10 I was inspired to keep writing. Not sure if I ever mentioned this, but I technically don't really follow wrestling anymore. I read the diaries, and love them. I was a huge WCW fan in the day, and have follow TNA online and watched some of RoH. Watch the Monday Night Wars was awesome, and I got the bug for writing my shows again...so enjoy!)

Alex Koslov vs. Colt Cabana

Recap: "The All-American" Colt Cabana seems hell bent on defending America's honor but the little known newcomer from Russia, Alex Koslov, also put on a show. He nails it and picks up the win.

Winner: Raven (Raven Effect)

Post-Match Raven grabs the microphone: "Vampiro, I don't think you get it. I am in the innovator of VIOLENCE. Pain is glory, and when I face you, one on one...I will reveille in the glory of the pain that is caused by us. The simple fact of the matter is, YOU vs ME. Drip for Drip, Drop for Drop...QUOTH THE RAVEN..............NEVERMORE!

********Commercial Break***********

We return from break and Chris Sabin is heading to the ring...We know he is set to face Davey Richards tonight in tag action with both of them introducing a partner.

Sabin: Davey, I think we both know that you and I just don't get along. That's fine and dandy because tonight I decided to bring someone here who is not only my best friend, but he'll become your worst enemy. This man, like me, hails from Detroit, Michigan, and this man, like me...is a MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUN. (Alex Shelley steps out from the entrance to a chorus of mixed applause and boo).

Shelley: Davey, when you chose to mess with Chris, you chose to mess with me as well. So I am hoping you've found yourself a good partner.

(Davey Richards steps out onto the ramp with a microphone)

Davey: Chris, Alex, welcome to the USWF, the land of true, pure wrestlers. I applaud both of you for joining this company. Chris, I realize you and I might not have worked out as partners...but that doesn't stop me from having an immense amount of respect for you. Mick Foley comes down to the ring to call out Ken Doane.

You claim to be a legend killer, and yet you cannot beat legends one on one. So tonight, I have a fun idea for you. I've booked you in the main event, one on one, with a future legend...and a killer. Brock Lesnar.

In Other News: We Proudly can announce that the IWA: Mid-South has become our official development territory. We will utilize it to grow some wrestlers we feel are future stars! We announced that we will send six men there to start, they are the Dark City Fight Club, Onyx, Kenny King, Chet Jablonski, and Chad Bro Chill. We are hopeful that all six men will return ready to make a severe impact! By sending Onyx and Kenny King to development we are taking 33% of Young Black and Rich away, but for now the plan is to continue to push Jordan and Burke, and then look at re-introducing the others later.

USWF Revolution

USWF Revolution

Live from Queens, NY

Dark Match:

Austin Creed vs Johnny Kashmere

Winner: Johnny Kashmere (Cradle Breaker)

SHOW OPENS:

In the back Randy Savage is shown arriving in a limo. As he walks into the arena he is ambushed by Ken Doane who throws him through a door...a scream is heard, and the cameraman rushes in to see Trish Stratus covering up as Savage stumbles out of the room looking throughly confused.

In the ring Vampiro and NOSAWA are standing with a coffin, as well as four other men, fully robed. Vampiro announces that this mock funeral is only the beginning for Raven. At USWF Spring Break, he challenges Raven to a Coffin Match...During this announcement out walk James Mitchell and REDRUM. Mitchell talks about the recent attacks, and darkness this arena has seen. He claims to know who is behind them, and that it is not Vampiro no matter how hard he tries to take credit for it. Just then a huge puff of smoke arises from the stage surrounding Mitchell and REDRUM...the lights go out...As they return the coffin lid is open, and the lining has a blood-stained handwriting on it reading "Beware"...but no wrestler is seen anywhere. All the druids, Vampiro, NOSAWA, REDRUM and James Mitchell have all disappeared.

Dave Prazak and Joey Eastman then run us through the shows lineup as we head to the ring for a Lucha Libre match (meaning two of three falls, set for 15 minute time limit, between Nicho El Millonario and Super Crazy)

Lucha Libre Rules (2 of 3 falls)

Nicho El Millonario vs. Super Crazy

In the second fall Nicho went up top for the high-rish maneuver but Super Crazy popped up and hit a top-rope Suplex for both pinfall, and the overall win!

Elijah Burke w/ Orlando Jordan vs. Nick Dinsmore w/ Rob Conway

Recap: Despite Burke's words pre-match, he cannot live up to the hype. He has numerous opportunities to capitalize on Dinsmore's state, but he always seems more interested in taunting the fans. In the end this allows Nick Dinsmore to capitalize and hit the German Suplex for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Nick Dinsmore (German Suplex)

Backstage: Trish Stratus is standing-by, fully dressed, but furious. She says she realizes the Macho Man is just coming back from injury and may still be delusional, but that there is no reason to enter the women's locker room. She announces that tonight, the Macho Man will face, BROCK LESNAR!

In the conclusion of the match Cabana hits in the Colt 45 for the 1-2-3.

Tonight both teams hit all of the signature maneuvers that you would expect and each team got close getting the 1-2-3, but as Richards and Edwards hit the Alarm Clock on Sylvain Grenier, the Motor City Machine Guns appeared on the stage, distracted both Wolves. This allowed Rene Dupree to roll up Eddie Edwards from behind and get the win!
