I'm liking what I am seeing Mr Hyde. Back of the house on the creative side seems to be in disorder which represents how I feel TNA is currently. KUTGW.

TNA Impact. Week 1, June 2009.

Location: The Impact Zone, South East.

Attendance: 1.300.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/MikeTenay.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/DonWest.jpg

Announcers: Mike Tenay and Don West.

Tenay: Welcome everybody to another action packed edition of Impact!

West: You can say that again! Actually better you don't.

Tenay: We kick of proceedings with Homicide versus Doug Williams with Homicide looking for revenge for what the Brits did to Hernandez.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/JimCornette.jpg

Before the wrestlers come to the ring tough, Cornette shows up microphone in hand and makes his way to the ring. He says he has several announcements to make but first he wants to show a video.

What we see is Team No Limit, Kiyoshi and Bashir aided by Rob Terry totally destroying Jesse Neal and him eventually being taken away in an ambulance. This elicits some strong boos from the crowd as Cornette takes the microphone again. He says that due to these heinous actions Team No Limit have been sent back to New Japan and Kyoshi and Rob Terry have been fired.

Bashir makes his way to the entrance ramp and he is furious. Cornette shows Bashir that he has another pink slip for him. But he decided that instead of firing him outright he was going to make his live in TNA a living hell so he would really have something to rant about. Bashir is lived and wants to get at Cornette but security take him too the back.

Cornette now proceeds to announce to contestants for tonight’s qualifiers for the first King of X, adding that stipulation to the Homicide vs. Williams match, and first Queen of the Mountain, Tara vs. Ayako, to be held at Slammiversary. Furthermore the main event of the show will be a King of the Mountain Qualifier between Daniels and Sting!

Rating: C+

Tenay: Wow those are some announcements made by Cornette! And good on him to make Bashir and co suffer for what they did to Neal.

West: He is just being punished for speaking his mind! This is ridiculous!

Tenay: Oh come on you saw what they did! Now lets get to the first match which has just gotten some added importance.

Homicide shows a lot of fire early on, seeking revenge for what the British Invasion did to his partner Hernandez. His high speed offence seems too much to handle for Williams until Magnus manages to trip Homicide as he goes for the ropes.

Williams now uses his methodical wrestling style to slow Homicide down and lays on him with suplexes and European uppercuts. As he sets Homicide up for his patented Chaos Theory (, roll through double German Suplex,) he hits the first part but on the second part Homicide counters out of nowhere with a Gringo Cutter for the win.

After the pin the lights go out, when they go back on Suicide is in the ring eyeing up Homicide. Lights go out and Suicide is gone again.

Winner: Homicide.

Rating: B-, good chemistry. Brutus Magnus interfered and Suicide appeared.

Tenay: What a match to start of this special live edition of Impact!

West: Wait we are live? So I can say what I truly feel about you and they can't bleep me well...

Tenay: And know we cut to the back as JB is standing with "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/JeremyBorash.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/KevinNash.jpg

JB: Hello everybody I am standing right here with none other then "Big Sexy", "The Giant Killer" Kevin Nash! So Nash you had something to say about Sting becoming the new godfather of the Main Event Mafia?

Nash: Indeed I do JB, indeed I do....

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/MattMorgan.jpg

Before Nash can say much though Matt Morgan arrives on the scene, pushing JB aside and getting quite close to Nash. He seems all pumped up and exited.

Morgan: I want in Nash! I want in!

Nash: You want in huh? You want to become a member of the Main Event Mafia?

Morgan: Yeah, yeah that's what I want, I got all the tools necessary too. I am the hottest free agent out here, the DNA of TNA!

Nash: Ok I'll see what I can do. First off why don't you take care of an old friend of mine and the Kliq.

Morgan: He is dead already!

Morgan leaves as Nash rubs his chin in appreciative thought.

Rating: B+

Tenay: Seems Morgan is up to no good and wants in the Mafia.

West: Who wouldn't want to join them, they are the most powerful group in wrestling today! And a nice bunch of guys to boot.

Tenay: Anyways Morgan's first test is up next! Wait I have just been handed information that the match will be a Texas Death Match!

West: Oh Boy I wouldn't want to be in Morgan's opponents shoes right now!

As we await for the arrival of Morgan's opponent Tenay tells us the rules of a Texas Death Match, no holds barred and you win when your opponent can't get up for a ten count after a pin.

The crowd gives a decent pop as Douglas appears to be the surprise opponent all the while Morgan is laughing in the ring.

Morgan starts by underestimating the wily Douglas and pays for it as a couple of cheap shots and chop blocks later Douglas seems to be in control. He has a real fire up his ass it seems given his relations with the Kliq.

Alas it seemed that Douglas's offence was all that was needed to wake up Morgan and he puts on a dominating display for the rest of the match. Finally ending things with three successive Hellavetors.

Winner: Matt Morgan.

Rating: D, Morgan improved in performance skills.

Tenay: Douglas put up a brave battle but it wasn't enough.

West: A battle? That was a massacre! As Morgan makes clear why he belongs to be a member.

Tenay: Let's send it to Lauren who is in the back with the Beautiful People.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/LaurenThompson.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/AngelWilliams.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/TaliaMadison.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/AshleyLane.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/KipJames.jpg

Lauren: Thanks Mike I am standing here with the *ugh* Beautiful People looking for a comment after Angeline's disputable win over Kong at Sacrifice.

As usual Love steals the microphone from Lauren and Velvet pushes her away. Madison is subdued in the background and Kip is making funny faces.

Love: Disputable! There was nothing disputable about that win! I won fair and square from that despicable Kong beast! And I did it all on my own, to defend my title and more so as revenge for what she did to Madison and Velvet.

Kip: What about me?

Love: What about you? I don't need you. We don't need you. Quite frankly nobody needs you!

Kip: What! Without me around aren't sh*t! I tried to warn you about Daffney, I tried to protect you from Kong!

Love: Yes you tried and you failed! You are a failure! Girls get him!

Velvet hits Kip from behind with a mirror as Madison sprays hairspray in his face, while Love eggs the other two on. Kip does his best to cover up but is slowly worked to the ground.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/RaishaSaeed.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/AmazingKong.jpg

Out of left field rescue seems to be on the way tough as Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed attack the BP. Kip James is caught in the middle tough and he seems to be taking a fair share of the pounding. Saeed is screaming all kind of seemingly obscenities in a foreign language while she and Kong are getting the upper hand.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/BGJames.jpg

True rescue, for Kip that is, finally comes when BG James arrives and drags him out of the melee. We can clearly see Kip thanking him and apologizing for being such a fool before.

Kong and Saeed meanwhile have left the BP in a heap and leave the scene as Lauren returns in screen and deftly takes back the microphone still in Love's hand and says; "thank you" with a big smile on her face.

Rating: C, Kip James face turn was a success.

Tenay: Good to see the Beautiful People finally get what they deserve! And it seems that the James brothers are getting back on friendly terms.

West: Oh poor Velvet, poor Angelina, poor Madison no one deserves that! especially no one that are that beautiful and pure hearted!

Tenay: Speaking of purity up next its a battle between two pure warrior women as Tara takes on Ayako.

Nice back and forth match as Ayako shows some Joshi skills and style for the TNA crowd. Tara's greater experience eventually shines through tough as she picks up the win after a Widow's Peak. Tenay did a great job of informing the viewers of Ayako's impressive resume throughout the match.

Winner: Tara

Rating: D+

Tenay: Experience proves the winner but what a display by both women!

West: Has someone checked on the status of the Beautiful people yet?

Tenay: Well Angelina's status as Knockout's champion is in danger facing that kind of competition.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/RobertRoode.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/JamesStorm.jpg

We cut to the back as we see Robert Roode and James Storm celebrating their win in the 3D tag team invitational with what else but beer and money. All the while bragging about how great they are.

They thank 3D for giving them the money and buy beer with it and also thank them for handing them the belts. They may have lost them in Philly but there is no way they will loose too two old has bins twice in a row.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/BrotherRay.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/BrotherDevon2.jpg

Team 3D arrive at the scene and Ray tells them that while they might be the tag team of the future, Team 3D is the tag team of today.

He also notes that experience is all important in tag team wrestling and he and his Brother Devon are the most experienced and acclaimed tag team of all time being 21 times tag team champions.

So they have set up a little match with another tag team for Beer Money who will show them what experience is all about. Devon; "Oh my brother, testify!"

Rating: C+

Tenay: And after this commercial brake that match is up next!

West: Oh I wonder who that could be? Not!

Tenay: Oh yeah like you know everything.

West: I know a lot more then you "professor".

The James Gang where first out and looked to be happy to be back together again. Their new found happiness didn't last long tough as Beer Money seemed intent to prove that experience didn't mean a dam thing to them.

They cut the ring in half like experts executing quick tags, double teaming and distracting the referee when necessary. BG James seemed to be in real trouble and it only was only getting worse it seemed. Beer Money's tactics backfired tough as when Storm distracted the referee BG was able to sneak in a vicious low blow.

BG was crawling on all fours towards Kip who was reaching out as far as he could. He made the hot tag just as Storm came in after being tagged by Roode. Kip proceeded to use his power to clean house and seemed to be on rare form. Unfortunately he decided to start showboating again as bad habits die hard.

This allowed Storm to regain his composure and after tagging in Roode they proceeded to double team Kip. After the ref couldn't get Storm to leave the ring BG decided to re enter the fray. He was quickly caught in a DWI though and while both men weren’t legal Storm got the 1,2,3 on BG.

Winner: Beer Money Inc.

Rating: C+

Tenay: What a close fought battle but using underhanded tactics Beer Money got the win.

West: Underhanded? That win was as clear as day.

Tenay: Well what isn't clear as day is Dr. Stevie's motivations surrounding Abyss and this is what he has to say.

West: What isn't clear he is trying to help him!

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/StevieRichards.jpg

Richards: Hello Abyss, are you listening? I know you are. Now let’s drop the pretences, I am no “official” doctor. But I am trying to help you Abyss. You see I know what you are going through. I know what they did too you and I want to help you. You are just making it hard on yourself Abyss not following my orders. So I thought I needed a little help and decided to bring back an old friend of mine and yours to help me, help you.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/Raven3.jpg

Raven: You see Abyss the darkness that is live permeates the walls of my soul. I know that darkness has a place in your hart and mind as well. You must release that darkness in order to truly be free and to see the light for what it is. To grasp onto the gold that is power, that is control of yourself and freedom of others.

Richards: You see me and Raven here had a whole stack of old belts lying around and we decided to forge them into a new one. All you need to do for a shot at this belt Abyss is accept a match against Raven for Slammiversary. And not any old match Abyss no, no, no it has to be your match, a Monsters Ball match!

He proceeds to take a new belt out of a duffle bag and shows it to the camera.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/TNAharcore.jpg

Raven: All you need to do is accept the darkness and the gold can be yours! Quote the Raven: Nevermore!

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/Abyss.jpg

We cut to Abyss watching on a monitor tearing at his hair screaming; Stevie! Stevie! Stevie! As he runs away.

Rating: B-

Tenay: Well that was disturbing.

West: To you maybe but to me that made perfect sense.

Tenay: Somehow I don’t find that hard to believe. Well up next is our what we have all been waiting for our main event of the….. what the hell is happening?

West: What is going on!

The camera pans back to reveal Abyss dragging Richards by the hairs to the ring all the while screaming and tearing at his hair.

Tenay: Looks like we got an impromptu match here! Get a ref.

West: No get security!

A ref makes his way to the ring tough and he rings the bell.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/Abyss.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/StevieRichards.jpg

Abyss vs. Stevie Richards

No intros to this one as Abyss immediately takes it to Stevie manhandling his so called doctor. Stevie manages to escape his grip tough as he roles outside the ring.

Abyss follows him to the outside while Stevie grabs something from under the ring. It's a chair, but instead of using it on Abyss he tries to hands it too him!

Abyss is having none of it tough as he swats the chair out of the way. Now Stevie is trying to make him use a garbage bin as a weapon. But again no go as Stevie continues backpedalling with "The Monster" in pursuit.

It seems it was all a game plan tough as Stevie makes it into the ring as the ref counts eight. Abyss has only seconds to react and dives into the ring allowing Stevie to get the upper hand. Stevie whales into Abyss with lefts and rights but they seem to have little effect. As he goes for an Enzeguiri Abyss pushes him away in mid air.

It's all Abyss now as he doesn't give Stevie another chance to escape. Just after he celebrates after hitting a Black Hole Slam on Stevie, Raven comes through the crowd and attacks Abyss from behind with a Kendo stick! Causing the ref to call for a DQ.

Raven and Stevie continue to beat down on Abyss with the Kendo stick and Stevie with the belt until they are satisfied and leave. Raven does the spread arms pose and mouths; "Nevermore" before exiting the stage.

Winner: Abyss

Rating: B, Raven attacked Abyss during the match.

Tenay: Oh my what brutality! I hope Abyss is ok after all this.

West: It's called tough love Tenay, tough love and trust me it works.

Tenay: Well pardon me for not trusting you then, well up next its what we have all been waiting for, it's the Main Event as Daniels takes on Sting.

West: I can't wait to see Sting teach Daniels what respect is all about.

Tenay: What you call respect, I call cheating.

West: Whatever just call the match will ya.

How can one describe such an epic main event in only so many words. I don’t know but I will try. Daniels seems reinvigorated since returning to his old self and he really brought the best out in Sting.

While Daniels tried to keep the pace up tempo Sting did his best to slow the high speed, high flying Daniels down and use his experience and superior size too his advantage.

The match see sawed back and forth with a lot of chain wrestling, counters and double counters and well timed rest holds in between. It seemed that slowly but surely Sting was wearing Daniels down and getting the upper hand in the match.

Turning point of the match was when Daniels tried to go for the BME ( ,double springboard moonsault,) but Sting was just playing possum and managed to crotch him on the top turnbuckle. He then went up himself going for a top rope Scorpion Death Drop. Daniels miraculously managed to semi counter it by spring boarding off the ropes just as Sting jumped doing a 180 in mid air and wrapping his arm around Sting’s neck in a modified Neck Breaker. (, Kind off like Christain Cage’s one.)

Both men hit the floor hard, but it seemed that Sting had gotten the worst of it. At this point Kurt Angle made his way too ringside and he distracted the referee. As this was happening Booker T snuck up out of nowhere and hit Daniels with a slapjack just as he was getting up.

Booker made his way out of the ring and Angle stopped distracting the ref. At this time Sting crawled, up and not having noticed what happened, proceeded to pin Daniels.

1…

2…

Kick out!!

My god Daniels managed to kick out at the last millisecond! What hart from this fine competitor. The tank seemed empty now tough as Sting got Daniels back up to his feet and this time the Scorpion Death Drop connected without a glitch.

1…

2…

3…

Sting wins! And is the first to qualify for the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary!

Winner: Sting.

Rating: B+, Angle distracted the ref, Booker T attacked Daniels.

Tenay: What a match! Shame about the interference tough.

West: That's not interference that is looking out for your buddies.

Tenay: Talking of buddies it seems Angle and Booker are getting in the ring.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/Sting.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/KurtAngle.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/BookerT.jpg

Angle and Booker T get into the ring and while Sting is getting his hand raised in victory proceed to lay a beat down on Daniels. As Sting turns around, instead of joining in, he starts yelling at them to stop and tries to get them off him.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/AJStyles.jpghttp://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/SamoaJoe.jpg

Out from the back storm Joe and AJ looking to save their fellow TNA Original from a further beating. As they enter the ring Sting finally gets Angle and Booker to stop and he makes sure nobody interferes as Joe and AJ take Daniels to the back. He looks a bit out of it but he doesn’t seem to be too hurt or injured.

Sting then asks for a microphone and calls out the rest of the Main Event Mafia.

Nash and Steiner make their way out with Sharmell, Jenna and MEM security they proceed to walk towards the ring curious as to what the new "godfather" has to say.

And well in a part that somehow survived the fire it's pretty much

but with Sting in ring gear and handing pink slips he got from Cornette to those he removes as he sees them detrimental too the cause of the Mafia the cause of Respect! And proving that the Main Event Mafia is TNA and represents the best of TNA.

Rating: B+

Overall Show Rating: B-, Ok but could and should do better. Dam you Russo for keeping that last part intact, at least I got to tweak it and agreed with the slimming down of the MEM.

OOC: Thanks to Togg for the belt render. Up next; why have and who else have been released? Full roster overview.

Click pictures for soundtrack if applicable. Impact Zone with 1.300 was for realism purposes. Any questions, comments, remarks or anything else more then welcome.

Just wanted to note that I had this diary planned before Togg's came around and those plans always included introducing a "hardcore" belt. You can check my post history and I will have made several references to this fact. Any and all similarities between my and Togg's diary are purely coincidental.

First Impact Review

A solid show and i like how you bring Tenay and West in to the diary and make them feel real. I have one small issue and its VERY small. Mike = Microphone and i keep thinking you mean a person called mike lol.

TNA Hardcore Championship? And you say u didn’t steal the idea lol. I like how you brought it in, it has a feel of the old school. “here is a championship in my bag and I’m going to defend it” much better than setting up a tournament.

BG and Kip teaming up? Oh come on are you sure you’re not stealing my diary haha. I’m glad VKM/James Gang/New Age Outlaws are back in both diary’s. Sooooooo underrated in TNA, they are just (sorry Miz) they are AWESOME!.

Slimming down the Mafia hmmmm I’m not sure on that part. Atleast its a new direction for them.

Cant wait for show two and the huge return of Hulk Hogan to join the Main Event Mafia. :D

You are taken to a dilapidated rural area. It quickly comes apparent that it's Cody Deaner's "training camp" that ODB has set up for him. Some banjo music is playing in the background.</p><p> </p><p>

Once again we see Cody use all kind of novel equipment in order to prepare him for life in the six sided ring, while ODB shouts encouragements too him.</p><p> </p><p>

As Cody finishes doing his one hundredth oil drum press ODB tells him to stop.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ODB:</strong> <span style="color:#006400;">It's time Deaner.</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Deaner:</strong> <span style="color:#A0522D;">Time for what?</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ODB:</strong> <span style="color:#006400;">Time for the "real" test!</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ODB:</strong> <span style="color:#006400;">It's time for you to giver to the ODB.</span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Deaner:</strong> <span style="color:#A0522D;">Hooweee!</span></p><p> </p><p>

ODB grabs him by the shirt and drags him to a small shack. She closes the door on the camera but we can clearly hear all that is going on inside.</p><p> </p><p>

About 5 minutes later pops up on the screen and it is eerily quiet in the shack. ODB comes out all dishelved and tells the cameraman; <span style="color:#006400;">"he might want to call for some help, oooh!"</span> while she pats her ample chest.</p><p> </p><p>

Next shot we see a totally still Deaner being lifted into the back of an Ambulance with a white sheer covering his body and with a slight protrusion around the midsection. ODB walks into the frame with her customary smile.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ODB:</strong> <span style="color:#006400;">Well he gave all he got, but it wasn't enough for the ODB! Bam!</span> As she pats her boobs and butt.</p><p> </p><p>

The ambulance then exits the scene as it fades to black. The following text then appears in white:</p><p> </p><p>

Post Impact meeting.

It was the morning after the impromptu "live" Impact. And me and the rest of the creative team where discussing how it all went and what direction we should go in now.

Vince: Well I think it went real great, all the run ins and false finishes really added to the excitement and unpredictability.

Me, under my breath,: Unwatchability you mean.

Vince: What was that?

Me: Nothing, nothing. I just think that while run ins and such are fine we should try and start limiting the amount. Because.....

Vince: No, no way people want excitement, they want twists, turns and fun. That's real total action!

Jarret: Now hear him out Vince! Maybe he has some good reasons for what he is saying.

Me: Eh thanks Jeff, as I was saying some unpredictability and run ins etcetera are fine. But only if they serve a true purpose, either to enhance a storyline or to advance it. Having too many of them takes away from the real action, the in ring action!

Look with the current angle to match ratio we got plenty of time to advance most of the storylines without need for that kind of stuff. I accept we need to be entertaining for the mainstream audience but a nice clean match in and of itself can be entertainment as well.

In the end it is all about the balance and lately my feeling is that the balance has gone too far towards the storylines and less about the in ring action. We got great wrestlers here if not the best in the world but we fail to show it to the people. How are they going to prefer us too our competitors if we fail to do that?

Vince: So you are basically saying go back to 2006, turn back the clock and loose money and have a 0.5 Nielsen rating! Because that is what the situation was before I got back in and look at where we are now! This is all thanks to me. My storylines, my gimmicks, twists, turns and matches! The run ins are a big part of that and people have accepted it its what sets us apart!

Jeff: Now hold on there a god dam minute! While I can't deny the increased success we have had it's not all down to you Vince! A lot of people have poured their blood, sweat and tears not to mention money into this company before, during and after you came around!

Vince: Sorry Jeff I can still get carried away sometimes. It's just things are going so well and then we had the fire and now this guy wants to turn back the clock.

Me: Now that is where you are wrong. I don't want to turn back the clock I just feel we need to find a better balance between the wrestling part and the entertainment part. Right now we are being looked upon as some sort of "WWE lite" instead of being our self, of being TNA, of offering a real alternative!

Jeff: Sounds to me like you want to bring back the old ECW don't you? you already brought in the hardcore belt. What about you Mick feel the same way?

So far Mick had been writing notes ,on what seemed to be upcoming promo ideas, in the back not contributing much.

Mick: ECW yeah! Those where some good times! I remember....

Me: Yes that is the operative word, where! ECW for the most part is gone, dead and buried and the times have moved along with it. I think if the real ECW was still around today it would be a whole lot different then what it was back then. Look a lot of stuff they did in ECW was good but we don't want to ride anyones coat tales. What we need to become is ourselves, we need to become TNA! We need to offer both wrestling as well as entertainment.

Jeff: I can see where you are going with this but it will take some time to adjust the fans, the workers and the guys in the back. We will take more on this in the future. For now just concentrate on the next show.

Vince: But.... Jeff.... you can't be serious!

Jeff: We can at least consider it and think about it, Vince I suggest you do too. Meeting adjourned and till Monday folks.

Mick: Have a nice weekend!

So that was that, the battle lines where becoming more apparent and I had given the starting shot of the direction I wanted things to go. At least it wasn't shot down immediately but let's think about it wasn't exactly promising either. Ah well it's a start.

After the meeting I tried to talk to Mick to actually find out what his ideas where but unfortunately he had already left. Mick is not only a master of economy it seems but also time management as he went straight for his car. Me on the other hand took the opportunity to meet some of the backstage workers and Jeff and the video crew where nice enough to get me a compilation on all our workers.

Back in my hotel room I could finally relax a bit. The journey had begun and I had my foot nudging in the door. And although I knew a lot about the workers in TNA already I decided to watch the extensive tapes the video crew sent me. Too my surprise it included house shows and even training sessions but wrestling as promo. That combined with my own knowledge and Jeff's notes really gave me a chance to make an accurate assessment of the roster.

Just as I had finished it and was looking forward to a nice bath and hopefully unhaunted sleep, the telephone rang. I walked over in my birthday suit and picked it up.

?: Hi it's Dixie.................

OOC: Reality mirrors fantasy as Ayako has now officialy signed with TNA, seems the knockouts are getting a boost.

<p>hope everyone liked it as it took quite some time to put together. If anyone can find better trons for Tara, Daffney, the British Invasion, Abdul Bashir, MEM, Amezing Red and the Jethro one I would be much obliged. I forgot to ad the stables and tag teams with their songs and will do so at a later date. As always any questions or comments very welcome.</p><p> </p><p>

Edit: Have also added a cross the line video on the TNA logos and the knockout video on the women's division and could do with an updated one of both.</p><p> </p><p>

Edit two: Changed my own theme song think it's more fitting hehe.</p>

The action has stopped for:

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/tnanews.jpg

The following talent has been released from their contracts effective immediately. We will actively support them as they pursue their career and thank them for the services they have rendered. For now unfortunately for them the action has stopped.

Christy Hemme - Injured for a long time to come and not up to snuff in ring wise and with Rave and Hoyte gone no one to manage.

Cody Deaner, Sal, Rocco, Jesse Neal, Sojourner Bolt - Where deemed surplus to requirements at this time. And to make room for new blood. If they improve or if TNA manages to get a developmental deal they might return.

Rhaka Khan - Her contract runs out in one month and will not be renewed. Due to lack of in ring improvement and backstage problems. Might get a developmental deal in the future.

Sharmell - Has decided to look after Booker's interests in Houston and could only be used as manager for Booker.

Jenna Morasca - Decided that the wrestling business was not for her after all and we agree with her.

Kiyoshi - Was home sick and could not acclimate to US culture and has decided to focus on his career in Japan.

Yujiro + Naito aka Team No Limit - Loan deal with NJPW expired, might return in the future.

Rob Terry - Fell foul of our health policy. If he ever cleans up might return under a developmental deal.

Down with Dixie.

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/TNA2.jpg

http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n434/Hyde_Hill/TNA/DixieCarter.jpg

Walking into Dixie’s office that morning I couldn’t help but notice how neat and tidy everything was. Almost too neat and tidy as far as I was concerned. Not that it was totally cold and cubicle like but there was a distinct lack of personality to the place. The room seamed to emphasize what wasn’t there instead of what was there. The only real personal features where a picture of her family and a single white rose.

Dixie offered me to take a seat at the other side of the desk in a non-descript though comfortable chair. She slowly walked over to her side of the desk giving me a final moment to collect my thoughts and try to prepare for what ever was coming.

Dixie: Well we are off to a great start aren’t we? Loosing the script up to Bound For Glory and two weeks worth of Impact tapings not to mention having a positive drug test. And all this within the first days of you coming aboard.

Is she implying something? Has she found out? Before I could formulate an answer though she continued.

Dixie: And now there is this. Something that could set us back for years and years. Destroying so much hard work. Seriously jeopardizing the future of this company and every one of its employees.

Me: What is it?

Dixie: Well you remember what happened at Hard Justice 2006?

She gave me a moment to recall my memories and rack my brain before answering.

Me: I remember AJ and Daniels vs. LAX for the tag titles and Joe vs. Brown vs. Rhino and Senshi retaining the X-Division title against Lethal and Petey. What of it?

Well I was glad I remembered that much as it was a while back.

Dixie: Yes that and the main event was Jarret vs. Sting but it is not the actual card that I was referring too.

Me: What then?

Dixie: As you may recall, actually no you didn’t. Well there was another incident of note. The pyrotechnics ignited a burlap sandbag and we had to evacuate the Impact zone for quite a while. Due to this incidence we where forced to give some guarantees.

Me: What kind of guarantees?

Dixie: We had to guarantee that something like that wouldn’t happen again in the near future. For a three year period to be exact or there would be repercussions.

Me: Ok so what does that have to do with anything?

Dixie: Well after the little incident in Jarrett’s office the other day Universal decided that they would enforce the repercussions to the fullest extent.

Me: So what does that mean? We already don’t charge entrance fees so we have to pay for all the repairs or something?

Dixie: No I wish it was that simple. It means that effective immediately our contract with Universal is null and void. The Impact zone is no more. We get to keep those parts that we owned like the ring and entrance ramp but that is it! So you see it’s probably back to the asylum and the lean days for TNA. You guys made a start with the roster cuts but expect a lot more to come, Including backstage.

Me: No wait! This is excellent news!

Dixie, looking surprised,: How is that! All those years of work all for nothing!

Me: No not for nothing! Dixie this just might be the catalyst TNA needed to get to the next level! Look give me one show! One show is all I am asking. Let’s take a chance just this once. Let’s do it like the guys up north and book a stadium and charge admission for the show. Get the marketing team working overtime to inundate the airwaves, the internet the press everything!

Dixie: And how do you plan to do all that on such short notice? We tape on Monday and it is Saturday now.

Me: We move it to Thursday. It won’t be a live show but almost. Something like an hour delay till we can renegotiate our deal with Spike. Look if it doesn’t work out, then we can go back to the asylum and start the cost cutting procedure. Just give it this one shot Dixie please, book it and they will come, market it and they will come.

Dixie, hesitantly,: Ok but let me make one thing clear if this doesn’t work the first roster cut will be backstage and it will be in order of seniority as for working for the company got that?

Me, *gulp*,: Loud and clear.

And with that all my hopes for a quiet weekend where out the door. Hell I would be surprised if I got any sleep till Thursday at all.

OOC: Up next TNA Impact preview. Hope this little chat was a convincing way of now charging people entrance fees and moving out the Impact Zone. Curious if we will run a profit and how large a stadium we can fill.

OOC 2: As you may have noticed I have gotten 2 one star ratings recently. Most people know that the star ratings can't really be trusted around here and personally I don't care, but seeing as I am only just starting and it may scare off potential readers. Anyone who is willing to rectify the situation I would be much obliged too. And thanks go out to those three good folks who have done so this far.

In the second qualifying match for the King of the X Eric Young takes on Consequences Creed. Will Young's new found attitude be of help against the storm that is Creed?

Cornette has promised to give Bashir a hard time and he has a surprise opponent for him. Who will it be and will Bashir be able to overcome him?

In a Queen of the Mountain qualifier Awesome Kong takes on Jacqueline. Can Kong focus on someone else then the Beautiful People and does Jackie still have what it got in the ring?

Team 3D have a bone to grind as they want to take those c*cky Brits that are Williams and Magnus to school. The school of hard knocks that is.

Raven returns to action as he takes on Jethro Holliday in a Texas death match. The name might suggest an advantage for Jethro but Raven can take more then human punishment.

After qualifying for the King of the Mountain match Sting now faces off against "the war machine" Rhino!

And for our main event it is Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley for a spot in the king of the mountain qualifier! Which side is Lashley on and how will he fare making his return to the ring? Joe has faced big and strong opponents in the past and seems more intense then ever but can he overcome someone of the stature of Lashley?

Visit TNA live at Foley Field, Georgia! Tickets available at the stadium and via Ticketmaster! Cross the Line and experience an event you have never experienced before!

Quick Predict:

Consequences Creed vs. Eric Young

Debut vs. Sheikh Abdul Bashir

Debut =

Awesome Kong vs. Jacqualine

Team 3D vs. Williams and Magnus

Jethro Holliday vs. Raven

Rhino vs. Sting

Samoa Joe vs. Lashley

OOC: Face and Heel divide is set at medium fyi. If people want to know the product please let me know and I will make a story around it and post it. Also would people be interested in how the competition is doing? If so I could do weekly/monthly updates. Thanks for all comments and support so far and any and all comments and questions are always appreciated.

Thanks man and it's a modified version of the know your role mod june addition. One I modified myself to make it more realistic, bit more challanging, less workers and promotions and TNA at cult due to implementing region importance.
