TCW: Total Control

Recommended Posts

- I could've probably written two or three more paragraphs for the Ino/Bach match. I love that match-up so much, it's easy to get carried away. I like both of them, and the mix of styles is interesting to me, so that, plus the No DQ stip gave me quite a lot to work with.

- Does the Hill return seem rushed? I dunno, he's got A* momentum, maybe I thought him missing a show would cause that to wane, and I'd like to capitilize on it while I can..although, his injuries were sold as not being too serious, and would only hospitilize him for a few days..

- The "Jason Azaria Total Drinking Game" makes it return! I've been unintentionally skipping that for the past couple shows. Haven't been meaning to, they've just slipped my mind. Meant to do one for every show, but they've been omitted the past couple write-ups..

- I don't know how I posted the show twice, I could've sworn I only clicked Submit once. I'm not one of those guys that gets angry when something stalls, and obssessively clicks the same button over and over and over..promise! :p

I saw that it was posted twice. I was going to comment that while its another good show, Zeel, its not that good that it needs to be up twice! Solid work once again.

As for the Ino-Bach match, I would say that much more would've been overboard. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you don't want to scare readers away with too much to read.

Till I collapse for sam keith = win. Just thought I'd say xD

Thanks. XD I thought it was pretty fitting too.

Giving a guy his age an Eminem song felt a little weird at first, but I figure he'd ditch his SWF theme in the jump anyway, might as well go with something newer, right?

I hope you've enjoyed your weekends so far - I've enjoyed mine, but not as much as I will next week - we are exactly seven days away from The War To Settle The Score! I am definitely hyped for it, as you should be - especially after the last couple of announcements! First and foremost, the All-Action Title match has been confirmed - Sammy Bach will indeed be defending his belt against Teddy Powell! What was supposed to be a non-title match has just had it's stakes raised! But it wasn't just made like that to capitalize on the problems between the two former partners. After all, no-one expected Teddy to take down American Buffalo last week, but he did it, and right in the middle of the ring too! Buffalo hasn't exactly been on a roll as of late, and he has a chance this Tuesday to turn his luck around, and get some revenge for past losses - as he and Sammy Bach will take on Teddy Powell, and the undefeated Koshiro Ino, in a tag match this Total Wrestling! Doesn't get much more personal then this match, folks!</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of personal, perhaps the most personal rivalry on TCW currently is Brent Hill vs. The Syndicate! And it has been finalized - Brent Hill will be facing Wolf Hawkins for the International Title, this Sunday at The War To Settle The Score! Hill had to go back and forth with the Total Board for quite a while to get this match signed, but he succeeded - on one condition. That being that he wrestle a match, this Tuesday! He has been cleared to wrestle, but reports say that he isn't at 100% - closer to 90% - thus making this match somewhat of a cause for concern, but Hill was more then happy to sign for it, with both the International Title shot, and a chance at gaining some more revenge over The Syndicate, at stake! Thusly, the main event for the next Total Wrestling shall see Brent Hill, team with two of the men who have fought with The Syndicate more consistently then anyone - Ricky Dale Johnson, and the current No.1 Contender to Tommy Cornell's TCW World Heavyweight Championship, Tyson Baine! And they shall be taking on Wolf Hawkins, Sam Keith, and Tommy Cornell - the entirety of the active Syndicate!</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of not being 100%, Joel Bryant is closer to 95% after having that hold locked in last week by Scout, but all reports say he will be back to 100% by the time him and Robert Oxford's Tag Team Title shot this Sunday! In the meanwhile, Bryant's partner Robert Oxford, is unsurprisingly angry at Scout for putting their first two-on-two Title Shot in years in jeopardy! He will look to make Scout answer for his actions this Tuesday, as he and Oxford will be taking each other on, one-on-one, in just a few days! Speaking of the Tag Team Titles, the holder of those belts, Joey Minnesota and Eddie Peak - who have conspicuously not had a match since Malice In Wonderland (R.I.P) will both be in singles action this Total Wrestling! Neither have an easy match - Eddie Peak takes on the tough, and usually drunk, Texas Pete, and Joey Minnesota will take on the very talented and impressive Antonio Marquez! Marquez, by the by, has a new nickname bestowed on him by the Total Faithful - "The Mexican Machine Gun"!</p><p> </p><p> You'll really be kicking yourself if you miss this - the final episode of Total Wrestling, before The War To Settle The Score, next week! And you will find it only on GNN Total Sports, this Tuesday, at 8:00 PM Standard Time! ..Hmm. "Total Sports". You know, I've never thought of it before, but that network name is an odd coincidence, isn't it..? "Constant Motion" Teddy Powell and "The Kobra" Koshiro Ino vs. "Hell's Horned Minion" American Buffalo and "The Evil Prince" Sammy Bach (w/Floyd Goldworthy and Karen Killer)

Powell's being pushed as more of a bigger deal than I thought he would be, especially after his shock win over Buffalo last week and he'll continue to build momentum for his All Action Title showdown by being on the winnng side here, plus the fact Ino continues his unbeaten streak.

Scout (w/Guide) vs. "The Phenom" Robert Oxford (w/Joel Bryant)

The Old Timers seem to be getting one last good run from you, so I see Oxford pulling out another cheap win here against the New Wave man. Eventually New Wave will win this feud but right now the wiley veterans are finding a way to stay on top.

Eddie Peak (w/Joey Minnesota) vs. Texas Pete (w/Edd Stone and Shane Sneer)

Texas Hoss doesn't stand a chance. You've done the right thing by putting him in a Tag Team where someone can hide his flaws, then again he's a got self absorbed egomaniac as his partner :p

Laying Down The Law Challenge: Rick Law vs. ???

Whoever's answering the challenge is going to lose, this thing isn't ending yet and when it does it'll obviously lead to a proper feud for Law.

Acid vs. "The Cannonball" Samuel Cannon (w/Aaron Andrews)

Cannon's basically All Action Division job fodder at this moment in time.

Joey Minnesota (w/Eddie Peak) vs. "The Mexican Machine Gun" Antonio Marquez

Marquez has impressed in losing efforts thus far, and he'll pick up his first win here. Minnesota will eventually make his mark as a singles wrestler but right now he's being pushed in the Tag ranks.

Brent Hill, "Southern Justice" Ricky Dale Johnson and Tyson Baine vs. The Syndicate (Tommy Cornell, Wolf Hawkins and Sam Keith w/John Anderson)

Hill on his revenge trip, Baine with another title shot and it won't hurt to keep RDJ strong either on the babyface side...so I think the faces take his to make the Syndicate look vunerable heading into the PPV.

The win over Buffalo was done for that main reason, yes. He was still just a Lower Midcarder, and his overness is really effecting Angles, so I needed him to hit the ground running faster then most. Solid Midcarder now..would like to have him atleast be on the brink of Upper Midcard, but the level he's currently at should work for now. It was also neccessary diary-wise, as I felt people needed to know I'm serious about pushing him. Always liked Powell.

Brought to you LIVE, from the Ranch Of San Antonio, and on GNN Total Sports!

Angry Chair by Alice In Chains, the opening theme of TCW Total Wrestling, hits, as highlights of the best moments of Total Wrestling's history race by the screen. It eventually all cracks and breaks, to show the crowd at the Ranch Of San Antonio! They're going wild with anticipation, as our announcers Jason Azaria and Phil Vibert hype up the show!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JasonAzaria.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/PhilVibert.jpg

Jason Azaria: Hello, ladies, gentlemen and wrestling fans! I'm Jason Azaria, this is my partner Phil Vibert, and we are coming straight at you, from The Ranch, in San Antonio, Texas!

Phil Vibert: We are just days away from our next pay-per-view, the War To Settle The Score! Tyson Baine will be taking on Tommy Cornell for only the second time, in a rematch from Malice In Wonderland! (R.I.P)

Azaria: But for tonight, he's wrestling in a Six Man Tag Match! And his partners are Ricky Dale Johnson and Brent Hill! The three men who hate The Syndicate, perhaps more then anyone else! And they are taking on the entire active Syndicate - Sam Keith, Wolf Hawkins and Tommy Cornell!

Vibert: This will be Brent Hill's first match since he and Hawkins lost the tag team titles - his first match since The Syndicate turned it's back on him in bloody fashion!

Azaria: He is not expected to be 100%, but he signed for the match despite this, in return for an International Title shot at The War To Settle The Score, this Sunday! But that's for later tonight - we're starting off with another heated tag match! American Buffalo and the All-Action Champion, Sammy Bach vs. Teddy Powell and the undefeated Koshiro Ino!

Vibert: So let's start the show already!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/TeddyPowell.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/KoshiroIno.jpg VS. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/SammyBach.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/AmericanBuffalo.jpg

Teddy Powell Koshiro Ino vs. Sammy Bach

"Calm Like A Bomb" by Rage Against The Machine hits, and the fans give a nice response as Koshiro Ino and Teddy Powell make their way out, both looking quite hyped for this contest. They go down opposite sides of the ramp, slapping hands with fans of both sections, as they make their way down the rampway. Ino rolls in, and Powell jumps up, through the bottom and middle ropes, and they both get up to their knees. The entrance makes them look like a natural tag team, and they play to the crowd a bit, before "Capricorn" by 30 Seconds To Mars hits. The arena darkens, and once the intro to "Capricorn" finishes, a spotlight shines on the stage to reveal a faded screen with four silhouttes behind it. Sammy Bach kicks the screen, making it shatter, to reveal him, American Buffalo, Floyd Goldworthy and Karen Killer. The ramp is pretty crowded as the four make their way down it. Buffalo leads them down, with Bach just behind him and the managers following. Buffalo does his "Hell's Horned Minion" gesture, as flames erupt above him. As he does this, Bach raises his All-Action Title high above his head, letting the flames reflect off it, making quite the sight. Buffalo and Bach go to opposite sides of the apron, and enter the ring at the same time. They look like quite the duo as well, as the teams try and talk out who's going to start..

Koshiro Ino's starting out for his team, and Bach his. After the brutal match between them last week, they are a bit more tentative, as they are likely still feeling the effects of their bloody brawl. But the slow pace doesn't last long, as it rarely does when these two are wrestling, and eventually Ino takes control when he counters an Idiot Charge with a Bulldog off the second rope, for 2! Ino uses his stiff Puro strikes to keep Bach down and at bay for a moment, but when he gets him to his feet, and tries for a Back Suplex, Bach is able to slip out behind him - using Ino's positioning to get onto the ring apron! Bach jumps to the top rope, and goes for a hurricarana, but Ino is able to brace himself, and ends up going for a High Angle Powerbomb, pulling Bach up high above his head! But Bach is able to send a few weak kicks to Ino's back, and he slips out - grabbing the neck of the Puro Star on the way down, to send him crashing into the mat with a Sit-Out Neckbreaker! Bach pulls Ino up by the hair, and tags in Buffalo, then hits a Snap Backbreaker, holding him in place, for a few of Buffalo's clubbing blows to the chest! Referee Ray Johnson doesn't let this continue for very long though, and Bach goes to the apron, just avoiding getting disqualified.

All the same, the control is definately in the large hands of Buffalo, as he puts the boots to Ino, keeping him grounded. He almost scores a victory over Ino, after nailing a Samoan Drop, but "The Kobra" is able to kick out. An Idiot Charge works for once, as Buffalo is able to spear Ino into the corner. He then pulls him up to the top rope, and proceeds to toss him off of it, for another 2. Ino takes the momentum, however, when he holds onto the ropes after being whipped into them. Buffalo charges, only to be nearly K.O.'d with a sharp Roundhouse Kick! But Ino has taken a good deal of punishment at this point, and they're both down, crawling over to their corners! Buffalo tags in Bach first, but before he can get to Ino, Powell gets tagged in, Bach stops in his tracks, as the No.1 Contender to his title jumps over the top rope, and meets him face-to-face! The fans pop as the two former best friends and tag team partners have a staredown! Bach goes for the first punch, but Powell blocks it, and then sends five or six shots to Bach's forehead, then switches to chops, putting him against the ropes! Powell whips Bach off of the ropes, then hits a Springboard Dropkick that nearly takes the All-Action Champion out of his boots! Powell follows up with this, by countering a desperate clothesline attempt with a Back Body Drop, for 2! Powell is in complete control of this match!

Bach looks to take it back when he counters a second Back Body Drop attempt with a kick to the face, but when he dashes at Powell, he gets caught with a running neckbreaker! Powell follows up on this with a Slingshot Suplex, and he then makes the "A" sign with his hands, signaling for the end! Powell goes for the Adrenaline Rush that Bach has been using for so long - a move that Powell invented, Vibert points out - but Bach shoves him away at the last second, and Powell gets taken down with a big boot from the interfering American Buffalo! Referee Ray Johnson abdominishes Buffalo, but he ignores him, and pulls Powell back up to his feet! He holds him in front of him, as Bach bounces off the ropes! He goes for a Rolling Wheel Kick, but Powell is just able to duck out of the way, and Bach ends up hitting Buffalo, sending him out of the ring! Bach Looks stunned as his partner falls to the floor, then slowly turns - right into the "Motion Censor" Roundhouse Kick of Teddy Powell! Teddy covers the "Evil Prince" - and gets the 3!!

Koshiro Ino and Teddy Powell win, via pinfall over Sammy Bach, after Powell hit him with the Motion Censor, at 9:08

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

Azaria: Wow! Teddy Powell just pinned Sammy Bach!

Vibert: Koshiro Ino is now 8-0, but the story here is Teddy Powell defeats Bach, just days before their All-Action Title match!

Azaria: Teddy Powell has all the momentum going into this title defense - partner, we may very well go into March with a new All-Action Champion!

Vibert: I can definately see it happening after that, Jason! Powell seems to only be here to help Bach, but he's never one to shy away from gold!

Azaria: Well, that's not why he made the challenge, Phil - I think he may feel he has to beat some sense into his former best friend!

Vibert: That should be a great match, but for right now, we've got Scout taking on Robert Oxford, in a grudge match, after the Army Veteran injured the arm of Joel Bryant last week!

Azaria: That's right, Oxford is not at all pleased with Scout - Bryant's injury could've been very serious, and if it was then the Tag Team Specialists' title match this Sunday could've been put in serious jeapardy! As far as we know, the title match will go down as planned, but for right now, Scout/Oxford is coming up, right after the commercial break!

***Commercial Break***

In-Ring Segment

"Them Bones" by Alice In Chains hits, and the fans give a healthy negative response, as The Tag Team Specialists, the current No.1 Contenders' to Danger and Violence's Tag Team Titles make their way out from the Crippler Position. Bryant's right arm is in a brace, and neither look very happy, as they make their way down the ramp. Bryant goes to ringside, as Oxford enters the ring, not bothering to play to the crowd. He stares steely-eyed at the stage, as "Hammerhead" by The Offspring hits. The fans give a healthy pop as The New Wave come out, but they don't seem to be themselves. They both have guilty expressions on their faces - especially Scout. He's holding a microphone, as they slowly make their way into the ring. Guide raises an arm for the crowd, but then leaves the ring, as Scout steps up to the angry Oxford, apparantly having something to say..

Scout: ..I'm sorry.

The fans go quiet, as Oxford looks confused.

Scout: ..I, I hurt him last week. That's not what anybodies here to do. He may have cheated, but I made a mistake in letting my anger get the best of me. I shouldn't have done what I did. And I apologize.

Oxford pauses..and then swipes the mic away.

Robert Oxford: You're sorry? You nearly cost us our Tag Team Title shot - the first two-on-two title shot we've gotten in YEARS, and you're sorry?!

Scout nods yes, and says it again, seeming quite sincere.

Oxford: ..No, no, you're not sorry. Not yet..but you will be..you will be!

With that, Oxford throws the microphone at the face of Scout, and the fans begin booing as Oxford takes him down and rains punches onto him! Referee Sam Sparrow tries to seperate them, as the fans rain down jeers to the cheap shot!

Azaria: Oh come on! Scout was trying to make amends! He admitted he did wrong last week, this is uncalled for!

Vibert: This is uncalled for? So was Bryant's injury! He's just getting revenge!

Azaria: He could get revenge from beating him in their match, not with a cheap shot! And this whole thing started when Bryant cheated to beat Scout - for the second time in a row I might add - in the first place!

Vibert: So that justifies the injury?!

Azaria: I didn't say that, but the injury doesn't justify this! Two wrongs don't make a right!

Sparrow finally suceeds in getting Oxford off of Scout, and when the Army Veteran gets up, all expressions of regret have vanished! These two men really seem to hate each other, as Sparrow calls for the bell!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/Scout.jpg VS. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RobertOxford.jpg

Scout vs. Robert Oxford

Referee Sam Sparrow is able to seperate the two in time for the start of the match, and so it's anyone's game - although Scout did take a rather nasty mic shot, that may give Oxford an edge. And indeed, the first chance he gets, the wiley veteran lands a shot right in the now softened forehead, that definately takes effect, and Oxford ends up keying on it the whole match! Oxford shows some of the MMA-ish skills that Bryant has taught him, by getting him in a Muay Thai clinch, and sending knee after knee to the forehead of Scout! Scout keeps his presense of mind, however, and eventually catches his knee, and actually gets a takedown, using his rarely-seen technical skills, locking him in a Single Leg Boston Crab! Beating Oxford in submission wrestling is not something many can do, however, and he proves this once again, by shooting his free leg towards him, and ends up getting it behind Scout! Oxford then gets a shocking counter, wrenching both of his legs around the arm of Scout! Oxford throws him to the side, and gets him into a Cross Armbreaker, wrenching the right arm of Scout with both his legs and arms! But after about 50 seconds of being locked into this, Scout is able to roll towards Oxford, and get the leverage advantage, sending a few punches to the face of "The Phenom", getting the 20+ year vet to release the hold!

Scout and Oxford both get up at the same time, and now Scout has two points of pain - his forehead, and his right arm, and he's selling them both! Oxford does a rather odd move, though, in going to the left leg of Scout, sending quick snap kicks to the shin and calf! These shots don't have near as much effect as the shots on his forehead, and Scout is able to fight back with a few forearms. Scout then makes the wise decision to speed up the match, where he has the advantage! He keeps the shots onto Oxford, and gets a nearfall with a running dropkick, after bouncing him off the ropes! But when Scout whips Oxford to the corner, the wiley veteran is able to slide down to his back to duck Scout's clothesline, causing him to ram his bad arm into the turnbuckle post! Scout cringes in horrid pain, before gripping his right arm, and taking a few steps away from the corner. His back is turned to Oxford, and "The Tag Team Master" follows this up by again going to the left leg, with a harsh Chop Block! Before Scout can even get to the mat, Oxford takes the stomps to the left leg of the former soldier! Oxford follows up with a knee drop to Scout's leg, before wrenching it with Spinning Toe Hold! But Scout is close enough to the ropes to get them before he's any real danger of tapping out. Sparrow calls Oxford off, and forces him to break the hold. Oxford actually conceeds, and goes to the opposite end of the ring, as Scout stands..with a slight limp now, and Scout is now in a very bad way, hurt pretty badly in three differant places!

Oxford seems content to cross his arms, and admire his work for a bit, before going over to Scout, quite confidently, but Scout isn't about to become easy prey, and he nails his second running dropkick of the match, for a 2! Scout is definately feeling the pain, he wants to end this quickly! Scout pulls Oxford up to his shoulders, then throws him off and drives him into his knees, hitting the Gutbuster! Another cover, gets a very narrow 2 count! Scout pulls Oxford up, and then Shoulder Blocks him with the right arm, hurting himself a little with both actions! Scout then goes up to the top turnbuckle, and waits for Oxford to rise, before going for a Double Axe Handle off the top! But Oxford side steps Scout, before getting him up into Back Suplex position, hooking his leg, and driving his knee into the mat! Oxford follows this up by putting Scout's right arm into an Arm Bar! Scout's caught in the middle of the ring, but he struggles valiantly! Scout slowly but surely crawls over to the ropes - and gets them after over a minute of struggle! Oxford starts to lose his patience, sending stomps down onto Scout, forcing Sparrow to seperate him! But Oxford regains his composure, and looks to end it here, pulling Scout up, and nailing him with an STO! Oxford plays to the crowd for a bit, gaining some heat, before going up to the second rope! Oxford goes for his signature knee drop, but Scout is just able to roll away! Now it's Oxford who's holding his knee, as Scout goes up top yet again - and nails Oxford with the Missle Dropkick! Scout pulls Oxford up one last time, and then plants him with the "Danger Ahead" Seated Neck Plant, for the pin, and the win!

Scout wins, via pinfall, after hitting the Danger Ahead, at 9:53

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_c.jpg

Azaria: And it looks like revenge isn't served tonight - Scout gets the victory over Oxford!

Vibert: Indeed he did, partner! It didn't come easy, but Scout edged out one half of the No.1 Contenders to the TCW Tag Team Championships!

Azaria: While singles matches rarely mean much to the tag division, this is still a fine win for Scout and The New Wav- wait a minute!

Vibert: What the hell?!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JoelBryant.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RobertOxford.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/Guide.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/Scout.jpg

In-Ring Segment

Scout is celebrating in the ring with Guide, still nursing his wounds after a hard fought match. The injured Joel Bryant comes to check on the downed Robert Oxford, clearly not happy..

..but he doesn't spend much time with Oxford, his eyes quickly go over to The New Wave, who have their backs to him.

"The Straight Shooter" then turns his attention to the brace on his arm..which he slowly takes off? Bryant holds the metal brace for a bit, before dashing over to The New Wave, and hitting Guide right in the back of the head with it!

The cheers turn to jeers immediately, as Scout turns to see this, in shock! Scout tries for a clothesline, but before he can do anything, Bryant kicks his left leg out from under him!

Scout falls, and writhes in pain on the mat for a bit, before struggling to his feet, only to get a face-full of metal brace as well!

Boos rain down onto the ring, as Bryant hits shot after shot on both men, and after a while of recovery, Robert Oxford joins in, putting the boots to the younger tandem!

Azaria: My God, it was a setup! It was a setup! He was feigning that injury!

Vibert: I think you're right, Jason! It was a trick to get them their gaurd!

Azaria: This is just disgracefull! This is so shameless, it's - oh, for God's sakes!

As Azaria admonishes them, The Tag Team Specialists slip to the outside, and take out Steel Chairs! They both wait for The New Wave to stand..but suddenly, the jeers turn back to cheers!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/EddiePeak.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JoeyMinnesota.jpg

Danger and Violence - the current TCW Tag Team Champions - run down to the ring, and chase off the No.1 Contender's to their titles! Oxford and Bryant narrowly escape an attack from the two DAVE Alumni!

Minnesota checks on the downed Army Vets, who eventually get to their feet, to an ovation, as Eddie Peak hangs on the ropes, not taking his eyes off the two men he will be facing in six days! The Tag Team Specialists stay put on the stage, not wanting any part of Danger and Violence - atleast for now! Minnesota and The New Wave play to the crowd, as "Freak On A Leash" by KoRN blares.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

Azaria: Danger and Violence make the save!

Vibert: My favorite tag team today just saved my second favorite tag team today!

Azaria: Yeah, you've got great reason to like Danger and Violence - they originally teamed up in the name of DAVE, to defend it's honor, as their team name would tell you!

Vibert: They sure as hell do, and myself, I'm very proud to have my old company name represented by such great wrestlers as Peak and Minnesota. I don't think I have to tell you who I'll be rooting for, when they defend their titles against The Tag Team Specialists!

Azaria: You know, Joey Minnesota will be leaving the ring soon, but Eddie Peak won't - because his match is right up next!

Vibert: Indeed it is. Eddie Peak, in action, right after this word from our sponsers!

***Commercial Break***

Azaria: We're back, and folks before we get this match underway, here's a little thing you may not know..

Vibert: Shotgun!

Azaria: ...

Vibert: Go ahead.

Azaria: Why does everyone always say stuff like that when I mention facts?

Vibert: I didn't say anything..

Azaria: Right..well, anyway, Texas Pete, who is coming out as I speak, is actually the Godson, of a renowed manager currently working in Europe - Stetson Hatt!

Vibert: Pfft...what? "The Jewish Cowboy"?

Azaria: It's true, Phil! Pete and Hatt's family have been very close for years, and Hatt was chosen to be Pete's Godfather!

Eddie Peak vs.

Peak is still standing in the ring, with "Freak On A Leash" playing through, when we come back. The fans are still cheering one half of the tag champions, until Hellyeah's "Alchohaulin' Ass", the singles theme of Texas Pete, plays and out comes the hard partying Texan, drinking a bottle of Jager. He seemingly finishes it, and looks through to the bottom, to make sure, before throwing it behind him..and right into the chest of his manager, Shane Sneer! It doesn't seem to hurt him much, but it definately angers him. He catches it, and throws it down on the stage, causing it to shatter. Sneer catches up with Pete, and tries to admonish him, but he seems to pay no mind to him. He looks up and stares at Peak, but not with the intimidation that many would have. In fact, he barely seems to notice the "Hardcore Assassin", as he steps up the stairs, rather unsteadily, and enters the ring. He takes a few steps towards Peak..then suddenly stumbles towards Peak, and bumps into him! The fans actually pop a bit, as Peak looks incensed by this, and Pete puts on a nervous smile, before trying to apologize. Peak answers this by shoving him away powerfully, with one hand, right into the ropes! Pete's smile fades, and he stands back up to argue with Peak. He sticks his finger in the chest of the Tag Team Champion, and his lips can be read as saying "You're a dick!"

Peak thusly answers this by clotheslining him, and then choking him, pulling him up and down on the mat by the throat! IE Referee Terakado has to struggle to pull Peak off of Pete, and he frantically rings the bell! As soon as the match is on, Peak is back on Pete, sending kick after kick to the side of the head of the big Texan! Peak pulls Pete up, then whips him to the ropes, and nails a jumping Clothesline, for 2! Peak is in control in the early going, and takes little time in trying to put Pete away. He grabs Pete by the hat, which seems almost glued on, and runs him into the top turnbuckle, before jumping up to the second rope, and off of it, with a sharp elbow shot, right to the temple of Pete, for another 2! Peak stays in control, until he whips Pete to the outside. He doesn't even wait for Terakado to start the count, he goes to the outside immediately after Pete. As he puts a few stomps to Pete, Shane Sneer jumps up to the apron to avert Terakado's eyes away from the action. Just as Peak is pulling Pete up, in comes Edd Stone with a running Rolling Wheel Kick! Stone gives a quick laugh at Peak, before quickly escaping through the crowd! Pete pulls Peak up, and then throws him into the ring! He goes for the cover, but just gets a 2 on it.

All the same, the drunken hoss is able to keep in control for a few minutes, hitting the usual "big man" offense. Pete pulls him into an Oklahoma Slam position, then uses this to slam him against the corner, before hitting the big move, for a near fall. He gets another nearfall after a Torture Rack Backbreaker. Pete just can't seem to put him away, no matter what. Finally, Pete goes for a Piledriver, getting a little desperate, but Peak is able to Back Body Drop out of it! Peak starts stringing together some offense, hitting a couple Flying Shoulder Blocks in succession, before hitting an Overhead Fallaway Slam! Sensing the end, Sneer jumps up to the apron to again distract referee Terakado! Terakado admonishes him, then turns to see Peak whip Pete to the ropes, and nail him with a Powerslam! Desperate, Sneer enters the ring! Terakado tries to shove him out, but Sneer gets away from him! Sneer shouts at Peak, who stares for a moment..then dashes at the veteran manager, and hits the Mad Man Clothesline, taking them both out of the ring! Peak shoots back up to his feet, and roars to the crowd, and the crowd roars right back at him! Peak re-enters the ring before the count starts. Texas Pete is back up, and he tries for a clothesline, but Peak ducks it, hits a kick to the stomach, and nails the Peak Of Perfection! Eddie Peak covers, and gets the 3!

Eddie Peak wins, via pinfall, after hitting the Peak Of Perfection, at 6:39

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

Azaria: And Eddie Peak, with a great performance, and a good win, tonight!

Vibert: Great perfomance is right - he looked just about unstoppable here! Just like always!

Azaria: He's a former DAVE World Champion, and I have to think that he's a likely future TCW World Champion, but for now, he and Joey Minnesota will be quite the formidible tag team!

Vibert: They have their first title defense this Sunday, and I have to say, so far it seems they have all the momentum going into it!

Azaria: Folks, we have to take a commercial break, but when we come back, we're going to bring you the next installment of the Laying Down The Law Challenge!

***Commercial Break***

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RickLaw.jpg

In-Ring Segment

"Breath" by Nickelback hits, and the fans give a massive pop as out comes Rick Law, ever humble. He walks down the ramp in a very simple entrance. He enters the ring and pulls out a microphone.

Rick Law: We're finally here..deep in the heart of Texas!

Cheapest of the cheap pop.

Law: Once again, it's time to lay down the law. The next installment of the LDTLC starts now. Let's see who answered the call this week...

As is typical, there is a pause, as the crowd waits for the next music to hit..

..and this time, it's "The Bleeding" by Five Finger Death Punch, and the fans give a healthy pop as out comes Genghis Rahn!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/GenghisRahn.jpg

He has a very calm smile as he walks down the ramp, pushing a shopping cart of hardcore weaponry along with him. Once he gets to the ring, he shoves it into the steel steps. Referee Ray Johnson unsurprisingly looks weary of the cart, as Rahn rolls into the ropes, and stands up face-to-face with Rick Law. But all the same, he rings the bell without any fuss.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_bminus.jpg

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RickLaw.jpg VS. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/GenghisRahn.jpg

Rick Law vs. Genghis Rahn

The crowd is ready for this one, two Total Favorites facing off. Law offers Rahn his hand, and Rahn does shake it. But immediately after they let go, Rahn levels Law with a clothesline! Not exactly a cheap shot, but not very kosher either! The final TCW Hardcore Champion takes the immediate control, raining down a few shots to the face of Law. He doesn't complain when Ray Johnson asks for seperation though. As soon as Law is up, he's met with a runnng knee to the stomach, which Rahn swiftly follows up with a Snap Suplex. Quick cover here, Law kicks out just before the 2. Rahn, while seemingly mellow outside of the ring nowadays, retains his fierceness inside it, he stays on Law, sending down strike after strike, stomp after stomp, giving Law very little room to breath. Eventually, Rahn pulls Law up, and puts him in Powerbomb position, but Law Back Body Drops out of it. Rahn quickly gets back up, and goes up to Law, but Law shoves him a few steps backwards, for some seperation, before spinning around and nailing a Discus Clothesline! Law covers Rahn, but this time Rahn kicks out before the 2!

Law doesn't seem to take much offense to Rahn's intensity, instead he simply gives it right back, laying the boots to Rahn, before pulling him up, and whipping him to the ropes. A Snapping Powerslam nearly puts Rahn away, but he shows his endurance in kicking out. Law keeps on Rahn with fire that isn't typically of his nature, power whipping him into the corner with authority. (No pun intended.) Law at one point tries to seal the deal viciously with a Death Valley Driver, but Rahn is able to elbow his way out of it, then score with a Spinning Neck Breaker, for a close 2 count! The match goes back and forth for quite a while, as the two beloved wrestlers both hit a number of big moves on the other. The first Long Arm of The Law attempt of the match fails horribly, as Rahn is able to counter with a Back Body Drop that sends Law all the way to the outside! Law just avoids landing in the shopping cart of "goodies" that Rahn placed outside the ring! Rahn wants to follow, but Referee Johnson is quick to keep him from getting to the ropes, not wanting this match to spill to the outside. Johnson starts the count, but Law isn't really in any trouble of taking the count out loss, he re-enters the ring just after the 5 count.

But despite this show of durability, Law is definately feeling the effects of the fall, holding his back, and wincing with each step. The fierce Rahn shows no mercy to Law, immediately targeting the back, taking him down with clubbing blows, and hitting a few elbow drops to the back, to score a 2 count. After a harsh whip into the corner, Rahn tries to follow up with a Bulldog, but Law is able to stop him in the air, then hold him up for a big Back Suplex - but he may have hurt himself more then Rahn, he shoots off the mat in pain, holding his back! He still covers, but just narrowly gets the 2. Law pulls Rahn up, only to get scooped up into a Side Slam, sending his back crashing to the mat again, for another nearfall. Rahn pulls Law back up, and scoops him up a second time for a backbreaker, earning another 2 count. Rahn looks to whip Law into the ropes next to the corner, but the former International Champion is able to reverse it, whipping him into the ropes instead. Law tries to hit the Long Arm Of The Law again, but Rahn is able to duck, and Law crashes into the corner. Rahn quickly follows up with a spear to Law's back, sending him in the corner. Rahn turns Law around, takes a few steps back, then hits another spear, into the corner again! Rahn takes Law out of the corner, and looks to power whip him into the opposite one, but Law is able to reverse again, sending him into the turnbuckle posts with authority! The impact causes Rahn to stumble forward - right into the Long Arm Of The Law! Rahn nearly gets folded in half under the might of Law, and the fans pop hugely as the move is hit on the third attempt! Law swiftly covers, for the pin, and the win!

Rick Law wins, via pinfall, after hitting the Long Arm Of The Law, at 10:45

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_bminus.jpg

Azaria: And a hard fought victory for Rick Law!

Vibert: He's probably going to be feeling those back problems for a while, but the win tonight should help ease that pain just a bit!

Azaria: Rahn and Law both showed some bravery in just making this match - just days before they both wrestle this Sunday! We have no idea who will be accepting the Laying Down The Law Challenge, but Genghis Rahn has a pretty tough match, in- ..hey!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RickLaw.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/GenghisRahn.jpg

In-Ring Segment

Law looked to be in pain, but he smiled as he celebrated for the fans. He sees Genghis Rahn get to his feet with the help of the ropes, and he offers him his hand again. And Rahn shakes it for the second time of the night, to an increased pop.

The two Total Icons celebrate together to the delight of the fans! Rahn rests in the corner for a bit, as Law makes his way to the outside, to slap the hands of the fans.

But the cheers turn to jeers, when Eric Tyler runs down the rampway!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/EricTyler.jpg

Tyler slides in quick, and clotheslines Genghis Rahn to the mat from behind! The crowd jeers heavily, as Tyler puts the boots to to his opponent for The War To Settle The Score!

But the reaction turns back to cheers when Rick Law re-enters the ring, and chases Tyler out of it! Law hands on the ropes, and shouts at Tyler as he retreats back up the ramp! The fans continue cheering, as the "Total Officer" helps Rahn up, then raises his arm! Another pop ensues, as "The Bleeding" by Five Finger Death Punch hits.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_bminus.jpg

Vibert: Rick Law's "Laying Down The Law Challenge" continues, but the story here is Eric Tyler, wanting to soften Genghis Rahn up for their match this Sunday!

Azaria: And he may have succeeded in doing so, if it weren't for Rick Law!

Vibert: Law may have ended up saving Rahn's chances this Sunday just now!

Azaria: Yeah, but Rahn didn't exactly do the same for Law - now he's got a hurt back going into his next LDTLC!

Vibert: These two men will both be in action, this Sunday!

***Commercial Break***

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/Acid.jpg VS. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/SamuelCannon.jpg

Acid vs.

"Ugly" by The Exies hits, and the fans give a good pop as out comes the masked Acid, whose had a rather back and forth start to his TCW career. All the same, the fans have a lot of respect for him, even if he's essentially ignoring them, as he walks down the ramp, seemingly already in fighting stance. He jumps up to the apron, then flips over the top rope completely. He waits in the middle of the ring, until "Light Grenades" by Incubus, the collective theme of Explosive Disorder hits, and out comes Samuel Cannon, with Aaron Andrews tagging along, running as fast as he possibly can into the ring! They are sporting ring jackets tonight - dark purple ones with flames on all of the edges. Cannon and Andrews quickly make their way to opposite turnbuckles, and play to the crowd a bit, before doing stereo backflips off of them! They do the same with the other two turnbuckles, before Andrews makes his way to the outside, and Cannon takes off the ring jacket, and throws it aside.

The bell rings, and Acid and Cannon have a surprisingly back-and-forth series to start the match off. Cannon is definately coming in with some high energy, and as Vibert points out, he has an experiance advantage over his partner Andrews, that has so far allowed him a little more success in his matches. Cannon tries to use some quick offense, but Acid shuts it down early with a Kneeling Jaw Breaker. A Rolling Wheel Kick quickly follows, that earns Acid a 2 count. Acid looks to end things with a Crossbody off the top, but Cannon is able to duck out of the way, sending the veteran high flier crashing to the mat. Cannon capitlizes on this by climbing to the top rope, and nailing a Diving Elbow Drop, but Acid shows quite a bit of resiliance in kicking out. Cannon looks shocked, but doesn't slow down. He stays in control for a bit, but when he goes for a Suplex, Acid is able to struggle down to the mat, then counter by putting Cannon up in Suplex position as well, then draping him across the ropes with a Stun Gun! Cannon slumps down in pain, and Acid covers, for a narrow nearfall!

Acid keeps in control for the majority of this match, until Cannon counters a bulldog by shoving him up onto the top turnbuckle. He pulls Acid down into Tree Of Woe Position, then nails a running Dropkick to the abdomin of the veteran flier. Acid drops down, but Cannon decides to forego a pin attempt, and instead opts to place him back on top of the turnbuckles. He climbs up to it, and looks to end the match with a Hurricarana off the top - but a split second before the Rana is hit, Acid pulls his mask up above his lips - then spits the green misty acid into the face of Cannon! The energetic "Cannonball" immediately starts screaming, while trying to scrap the mist out of his eyes - allowing Acid to shove Cannon off. This actually gets a mixed reaction, as it's clearly a heel-ish move, but the fans of Acid have come to expect it being used at some point in all of his matches. Acid steps up to the very top rope, and stares down at his opponent, waiting for him to stop flailing. As soon as Cannon is flat on his back, Acid dives down with the Acid Rain Swanton Bomb! Acid covers - and gets the 3!

Acid wins, via pinfall, after an Acid Rain Bomb, at 7:35

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cminus.jpg

Vibert: And Acid gains another victory.

Azaria: I have to say, some people weren't particularly pleased with the particular timing of Acid's..erm, acid there..

Vibert: Well I don't know why that's the case. They haven't had a problem with it yet since joining TCW.

Azaria: Well, that's true, but that was a bit more of an inopportune time for Cannon then it was the rest of the men Acid's faced so far in TCW.

Vibert: Look, it's not exactly the cleanest move in the world, but Acid's been using it for as long as I can remember. He's not at all discreet about the move, it's one of his signatures. If you come into a match with Acid, and you've done any homework AT ALL on the guy, then you should be able to see it coming a mile away!

Azaria: Hmm, you have a point, Phil..in any case, we've got Joey Minnesota in action, coming up after the commercial break! But just before that, we'd like to now take you to the lovely Jasmine Saunders! Jasmine?

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JasmineSaunders.jpg

Backstage Segment

Cut to the back for (surprisingly) the first time tonight, to see the smiling Jasmine Saunders with a microphone.

Jasmine Saunders: Thanks, Jason. Ladies and gentlemen at this time, I'd like you to give a warm welcome to-

Just like last week, Saunders is cut off by a hand from someone off-screen, giving her a card. Saunders sighs as she looks at whoever it is handing it to over.

Saunders: Again with this..? ..Alright..ahem, I'd like you to give a warm welcome, to the four TCW World Heavyweight Champion, the man who holds the record for the number of TCW World Heavyweight Title reign, and also the record for longest TCW World Heavyweight Title reign..a man who is an absolute lock for the Hall Of Immortals that only so few get the honor of being inducted into. The man who won his first World Championship younger then anyone since Hanshiro Furusawa, back in 1969. And the man who-

Saunders pauses, and again rolls her eyes..

Saunders: -..and the man who causes Jennifer Cornell to break the sound barrier with her screams every single night..please welcome, Tommy Cornell.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/TommyCornell-Suit.jpg

The crowd gives a warm response - warm as in hot, and hot as in hostile, as the screen pans to show the TCW World Heavyweight Champion himself, Tommy Cornell, bedacked in a snazzy suit, somewhat surprisingly, given his match is about 15 minutes away from starting..

Tommy Cornell: Thank you once again, Jasmine, you're such a nice girl for saying these things.

Saunders: Right. Well, Tommy, I must say, I didn't expect the wardrobe for this interview.

Cornell: Oh what, you mean this old thing? Ah, it's not much. Just a 1,695$* Armani Suit, that's all..

Saunders: No, I meant, you're not in wrestling gear. Your match is on in less then 20 minutes, don't you really think -

Cornell: -Tommy Cornell doesn't need to prepare for a match, Jasmine. See, what you don't seem to know, is that Tommy Cornell goes through the roughest and most grueling training programs around every single day. He doesn't need to do a bunch of sqauts just before a match, no sit-ups, no push-ups, hell, not even any stretching, it's all so unneccessary. And, quite frankly, who needs all that sweat? I mean, I'm going out on National TV, I don't want to look like some slob who just came out of a damned sauna. No, I'm always ready to wrestle. I've got plenty of time to put my wrestling gear on, and that's the only pre-match "ritual" I need to do. Because I'm Tommy Cornell, and that's just how damned good, I really am,and..oh, I'm sorry, did you have a question?

Saunders: Are you done rambling?

Cornell: Well, I paused, didn't I?

Saunders: Right..well, "ask a stupid question"..in any case, you, Sam Keith and Wolf Hawkins are just minutes away from going out there, and facing three of the men who hate The Syndicate more then anyone else on the TCW Roster. Three men who have proven in recent weeks just how dangerous they truly are. Brent Hill, Ricky Dale Johnson and Tyson Baine. All three of these men will be facing the three of you at The War To Settle The Score, so this is, by all means, a preview for this Sunday. Now, wh-

Cornell: Stop. A "preview"? Tommy Cornell is not a "preview" for anything, Tommy Cornell is the main event. He is the always the main event. And Total Wrestling is not the type of wrestling show that's just there to plug a pay-per-view. It may have been before I got here, but ever since then, it's been the single greatest show in professional wrestling, bar-none. The Six-Man Tag Match tonight will be anything but a preview of this Sunday. It will be an absolute carnage-filled bloody brawl. It will be a gang-war type street fight of epic proportions. It will be another battle, in this..war. And tonight, I assure you - the battle, and indeed the war, will be won..by The Syndicate.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_bplus.jpg

Cornell: ...So, if you'll excuse me, I have to go put on my ring gear now..

Cornell turns to walk away, but quickly bumps into someone off-screen. His arrogant smile is quickly replaced with a dismayed scowl.

Cornell: Well..look who it is.

The screen pans out, to show who it is intruding on Cornell's interview..

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/BrentHill.jpg

There is an audible pop in the background, as Brent Hill is shown, standing face-to-face with the man who organized his bloody exit from The Syndicate. He first has a look of quiet intensity, but that eventually gives way to a sly grin.

Brent Hill: Well, if it isn't Tommy Cornell. The TCW World Heavyweight Championship. "The greatest living, breathing wrestler today."

Cornell: Actually, it's "The greatest living, breathing wrestler walking the earth, today."

Hill: Interesting. You know, this Sunday I'm going to be beating the living hell out of your golden boy. And, I know I said I would come after you after I took down Wolf, but it looks as though the Total Board wants to give me that shot just days before I face "the Chosen One" for the International Title. I must say, it's a strange business move, putting their world champion in a situation in which he may very well be impaled, just days before a Pay-Per-View title defense..

Cornell: Pfft. You know what, Hill, maybe you should just stick to "I respect that guy, and I'm going to give 110%" wussy promos, because you don't seem to be able to give out threats very well.

Hill: Hmph. Well they may not sound as good as yours, to your heavily selective ears, but there's a big differance between my threats and your threats, Tommy..mine aren't empty. See you around, you untrustworthy bastard.

Hill scoffs a bit, before turning to walk away, but suddenly stops, and slowly turns back to Tommy.

Hill: ...oh..and one last thing..

Hill pauses, and looks down for a bit, before throwing a huge right hand, directly to the face of Cornell! It's a knock-out worthy punch, Cornell is floored! There's a huge pop in the background, as Jasmine Saunders look on with shock!

Hill: ..good luck out there.

Hill makes his leave, as Cornell grabs the television moniter to pull himself up. He slowly rises, and it's quite apparant that the punch left a shiner with his left eye! Cornell is absolutely seething after being given a black eye, as the screen fades back to the arena!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_b.jpg

Vibert: Wow! Brent Hill just lit Cornell up back there!

Azaria: Tommy Cornell with a black eye, just a little while before their Six-Man Tag Match tonight!

Vibert: Hill just sent a bit of a message to Tommy Cornell - he wants some respect from the TCW World Heavyweight Champion, and is willing to punch him out to earn it!

Azaria: Well before the six-man Main Event, we've got one half of the TCW Tag Team Champions, Joey Minnesota, taking on the man recently dubbed the "Mexican Machine Gun" - Antonio Marquez!

Vibert: Marquez is a kid I really wanted to sign to DAVE in the later years, but he declined it, he wanted to stick to Mexico. But I carry no bitterness, I'm still a huge fan of the kid, he's a future TCW World Heavyweight Champion, I really think so.

Azaria: And of course, you're well associated with Joey Minnesota as well..

Vibert: Well, of course. Minnesota will have a great singles career in TCW, but right now he's a part of the best tag team in the division! Danger and Violence have all the momentum going into their title match against the Tag Team Specialists this Sunday. Let's see if they can keep it going, in this next match!

Azaria: That match is next, right after this word from our sponsers!

***Commercial Break***

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JoeyMinnesota.jpg VS. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/AntonioMarquez.jpg

vs.

"Takes My Pain Away" by Jimmy Eat World hits, and the fans give a great reception, as out comes one half of Danger and Violence, Joey Minnesota. He comes out with his TCW Tag Team Title over his shoulder, but his partner, Eddie Peak is not present - he's going solo tonight, just as Peak did earlier. He plays to the crowd on the stage for a bit, before dashing down the ramp, and rolling into the ring. He jumps up to the second rope, in the center of the ring, and holds up his title proudly, looking quite intense tonight. His theme fades into Control Machete's "Artillería Pesada", and out comes Antonio Marquez to a pretty good response, after putting in back-to-back great performances against main event-level talent. He looks quite confident despite the losses, wearing the same slick jacket he's worn for the past few weeks. He slaps a few fans hands on the way to the ring, before jumping up to steps, then to the apron, in just two motions. He enters the ring, and throws the jacket out of it, before standing across the ring from Minnesota, eyeing him, quite eager to be wrestling tonight..

As soon as the bell rings, Marquez runs at Minnesota, tackling him into the corner, hitting some mounted corner punches right away! Minnesota shoves him off before the sixth punch, but Marquez rolls forward to get up quick, then nails a swift clothesline into the corner! Marquez wastes no time in going for big moves, he immediately follows up on this by grabbing Minnesota into a Front Facelock, and then shooting up the turnbuckles, going for a Tornado DDT! But Minnesota is able to shove Marquez away in mid-air, only for Marquez to bounce right back with a Rolling Wheel Kick attempt! But Minnesota ducks it, then jumps onto the bottom rope for a mini-springboard, into an elevated clothesline, that hits home on Marquez! A quick cover here, but Marquez kicks out before the 2 count. Minnesota pulls Marquez up, and shoots him to the ropes, ducking down for a Back Body Drop, but Marquez is able to jump over Minnesota, and counter with a Sunset Flip, that Minnesota narrowly avoids being upset with!

The match continues in this way, for the most part, being a bit more back-and-forth then expected, with neither man being able to stay in control for very long. And it remains that way, until Marquez again tries for a big move, in a Superplex. For the second time of the night, a big corner move works out very badly for a young up-and-comer, as Minnesota is able to counter it, just like a regular suplex - getting back to his feet, and lifting Marquez off of his, instead! Minnesota keeps Marquez up for a bit, before hitting a massive Gordbuster, off the top rope! The fans give a huge pop, and both Azaria and Vibert agree that the match is over, as Minnesota pins - but Marquez shockingly kicks out at the very last second! Minnesota looks shocked, and we see a replay of the move, and then the count itself, to see again just how close it was! Minnesota covers a second time, but Marquez kicks out yet again!

But all the same, Minnesota now has the control, and he keeps it for quite a few minutes after this. But even after multiple big moves, including a Throw Down Spinebuster and a Spear, he is unable to put the "Mexican Machine Gun" away, Marquez kicks out time after time! Finally, Minnesota starts to get desperate, and goes up to the top rope! Minnesota comes off it with a Picture Perfect Moonsault, but is unable to get a picture perfect landing, as Marquez just rolls out of the way, leaving the TCW Tag Team Champion to crash land into the canvas! Marquez slowly rolls onto Minnesota for the cover, but now it's his turn to narrowly kick out! Marquez is slow to his feet, but once he gets up, he's quick to get up to the top turnbuckle! Vibert surmises that he may be looking for the Champagne Sunrise Frog Splash, but Minnesota is back on his feet, albeit woozily, before Marquez can get in position. Not to be deterred, the former Lucha Libre Megastar comes off the top with a Hurricarana that is executed beautifully! Marquez bridges, for another very close 2 count! Marquez pulls Minnesota back up, but the ever tough Minnesota shoves Marquez away, then tries for a clothesline, but Marquez ducks it - and then nails Minnesota with a Lung Blower! Marquez covers, but Minnesota just barely kicks out!

Azaria ponders as to what these men have to do to each other to get the victory tonight, as Marquez stands up valiantly. He looks down at the hurt Minnesota, and then goes over to the turnbuckle, jumping up on top of it, in one motion. Marquez scans the crowd for a bit, and makes the "C" gesture, doing a jumping splits while doing so, before going for the Champagne Sunrise Frog Splash - but Minnesota just gets the knees up, driving them right into the abdomin of Marquez! Minnesota pulls himself up with the ropes, as Marquez struggles to his feet in the center of the ring. But when Marquez is up, he's in a very bad place to be - his back turned to Joey Minnesota! Minnesota is quick to take advantage of this bad position, grabbing Marquez up, and drilling him down into the canvas with the Empire Spiral! Minnesota covers, for the very hard fought victory!

Joey Minnesota wins, via pinfall, after the Empire Spiral, at 11:06

Azaria: My God, what a performance by these two men! What a match!

Vibert: The crowd's giving a standing ovation after that one, and it is a well deserved one!

Azaria: I think I see what you mean, Phil, when you call Marquez a future World Heavyweight Champion!

Vibert: I'll tell you what, that match was almost good enough to main event a DAVE show..almost..

Azaria: ..Don't be one of "those guys", Phil..in any case, there is just one match left on our program tonight, and you know what that means, folks!

Vibert: Yes I do, Jason! But don't call me folks..our Main Event is up next - Ricky Dale Johnson, Tyson Baine and Brent Hill will be taking on Wolf Hawkins, Sam Keith and Tommy Cornell!

Azaria: We're going to need a commercial break after that great match we just witnessed, but we're coming back in a huge way after it - that huge Main Event, is up next!

***Commercial Break***

Ricky Dale Johnson and Tyson Baine vs. The Syndicate

"Faint" by Linkin Park hits, and the fans give a huge reception, as out comes Brent Hill, in ring gear for the first time since Malice In Wonderland. (R.I.P) It has not taken him long to become popular with the Total Faithful, and him giving Cornell a black eye just a while ago likely didn't hurt it much. Hill continues to garner some love by jumping up on top of the barricade once he gets to ringside, raising his arms to the fans, just soaking in the love, before jumping down to the floor, and sliding into the ring. "Livin' On Borrowed Time" by Puddle Of Mudd hits, and the pop gets even bigger, as out comes the always beloved Ricky Dale Johnson. He acknowledges the fans, but doesn't play to them, he simply makes his way down the ramp, and into the ring. A simple arm raise is all of the posing he does. Once his theme fades, the lights go dark, and the cheers actually get even louder, as flames arch above the stage. "Hold Out Your Hand" by Nickelback hits, as more flames erupt from the sidings of the ramp, and out comes the demonic Tyson Baine, to an absolute roar from the crowd. He ignores them, and his pyro, as he stomps down the ramp. He gets up to the apron, and steps over the ropes. "F*ck Off" by Kid Rock hits, and the massive cheers turn into riot-like jeers, as out comes The Syndicate in it's entirety; Tommy Cornell, Sam Keith and Wolf Hawkins - with John Anderson accompanying them. Cornell stops them on the stage, and walks to the right, leaving Keith in the middle. Cornell and Hawkins then hold up their TCW Title belts, while Sam Keith shoots up the devil horns gesture. A smile comes across Cornell's face when this garners yet more of a heated response, and Cornell is clearly still sporting the shiner given to him earlier. The trio walk down the ramp very slowly, and all come up three differant sides of the apron. Hawkins is on the Hard Camera side, walking to the opposite turnbuckle post, as Keith is on the opposite apron, wiping his boots on it, before entering the ring. Hawkins goes up the turnbuckle, and does the once beloved "Youth Gone Wild" pose, before dropping into the ring. Cornell, on the side facing the ramp, simply holds his TCW World Heavyweight Title up as high as his arms can stretch it, before entering the ring.

As soon as their in, Baine goes right up to Cornell, eyeing him with a look that would send most men running for their lives. Hawkins also talks a little trash to Brent Hill, which is returned, and Keith and RDJ give each other some mean looks as well, as IE Referee Sabanobu Koruba tries to get some seperation between the two men who will be headling the War To Settle The Score. As soon as some distance is between Baine and Cornell, "Rough Justice" points to the man who gave him the black eye, and a viewer can make out him saying the words "I want you.". Hill nods, and it's apparant he will be starting for his team, as Cornell will be starting for The Syndicate! Cornell and Hill stand face-to-face this time, as the bell finally rings!

And as soon as it does, Hill tackles Cornell, and rains down yet more punches to Cornell's already marked up left eye, almost as though he's looking to make it far worse then a shiner! Koruba immediately finds himself pulling Hill off of Cornell, but Brent's right back on top of him, laying down boots, and the crowd is absolutely eating this up! Finally, Koruba gets enough seperation to allow Cornell up, and Hill takes him right back down with a big Jumping Clothesline! As soon as Cornell's up, he's taken right back down with a Crossbody! And once Cornell's up again, Hill hits him with a headbutt right to the left eye! Hill then hooks Cornell's arms, and hits a series of headbutts, before doubling him over by the locked arms, and sending him down with a Double Underhook Backbreaker! A quick cover, but Cornell is able to kick out! Hill keeps the stomps to Cornell, and ends up kicking him into a corner, before dashing to the opposite corner! Hill then runs towards him as fast as he can, going for a big knee, but Cornell is able to get to his knees, and counter it by shoving Hill into the corner! Hill bounces back off the impact, and Cornell follows up with an Inverted Russian Legsweep, sending him facefirst into the mat! Cornell pins Hill, but he kicks out before the 2! Cornell pulls Hill up, and to The Syndicate's corner. He tags in Wolf Hawkins, and holds him in place.

Hawkins slingshots into the ring for a big dropkick on the held Hill, which earns a 2 count for the International Champion. Hawkins goes back to the apron, and Slingshots himself in again for a big Leg Drop, which scores another 2. Hawkins proceeds to forego the high flying, and sticks with mat based wrestling to keep Hill down. After a few transitional holds are applied, Hawkins locks Hill into the Dragon Sleeper! But after a moment or so of struggle, the fans clap Hill on, and he's able to fight to his feet, only for Hawkins to clothesline him from behind, to the mat! Hawkins plays it up for the crowd for a bit, who absolutely despise him. Hawkins pulls Hill up, then kicks him in the stomach, and hits the ropes. But Hill is able to rush forward before Hawkins can do whatever he was planning, and lift him up into the air, before sending him crashing face-first to the mat with a huge Flapjack! Hill crawls over to his corner - and tags in Ricky Dale Johnson!

RDJ is in with a massive response, and is unsurprisingly a house of fire, greeting Hawkins with a big kick to the face, the very second he gets to his knees! Ricky Dale pulls Hawkins up by the hair, then sends him down to his back with a Back Body Drop! RDJ keeps the big moves coming, ending the series with a Big Boot, which earns a close 2 count! RDJ pulls Hawkins up again, but Hawkins goes down to his knees as soon as RDJ hits the ropes - and Hawkins shoots forward, with a headbutt to the stomach of RDJ, that just about takes the wind out of him! Hawkins stands again, and looks to be feeling it, as he waits for RDJ to get vertical again. Hawkins then tries to finish him off with a Super Kick - but RDJ catches the foot! RDJ looks on with a serious face, and nods "no" to Wolf, but Wolf is having none of that, and he counters RDJ's counter with a Standing Enziguri! Not exactly the New Moon Rising, but it's close enough for Vibert to think Ricky Dale is done, as Hawkins crawls over for the cover - 1..2...no! RDJ just barely kicks out! Hawkins is in disbeleif, but he's quick to pull RDJ back up - only to get swiftly planted with a Uranage Slam! RDJ pulls himself up with the ropes, and then goes for the Soutern Justice on young Hawkins - but he is suddenly caught from behind by Sam Keith!

Keith pulls RDJ away from Hawkins from behind - then sends him crashing into the mat with the Neutron Plex! Keith gets to the apron, just in time to beat Koruba's 5 count! Hawkins eventually struggles over to his corner, and tags in Keith, as RDJ is trying his best to crawl over to his own! Ricky Dale is just fingertips away from tagging in Tyson Baine, but Keith grabs him by the ankle and pulls him away, then puts the boots to him! Keith pulls Johnson up, then whips him into the ropes, before sending him back-first into the mat with a harsh Running STO! Keith covers RDJ, for a close 2 count! Keith then puts a few stomps to the legs of Ricky Dale, before going for the Proton Lock, but Johnson is able to kick him away. This doesn't give RDJ much time to breath though, as Keith is quick to come back with a Basement Dropkick on the former TCW World Heavyweight Champion. This scores another 2 count. Keith decides at this point to stop focusing on getting the victory, and to start focusing on softening up RDJ for this Sunday. And so he proceeds to Stun Gun RDJ, hanging him on the top rope, before following up on this with a huge running knee to the temple, that sends him to the apron. Keith pulls RDJ back in, and then to his feet - before planting him with a vicious Jumping Piledriver. It's at this point that Tommy Cornell wants in, looking to get the win over the now battered and beaten RDJ. Keith pulls Ricky Dale to The Syndicate's corner, and is happy to oblige, tagging in his fellow Co-Leader.

Cornell gives a stiff Heymaker to the held RDJ after entering the ring, and he focuses on the head of his blood rival, sending shot after shot to his face. Tommy continues dishing out some punishment, before looking to put him away. He gets him up in suplex position, then goes for the Rough Ride - but as RDJ has taken this move many, many times in the past, he's very well-versed on reversing it, and he does it again by slipping out, and hitting an arm drag in mid-air, sending Cornell across the ring! RDJ and Cornell both scramble to their feet, and Cornell tries to keep RDJ from getting any momentum, but Ricky Dale dashes those hopes with his signature Headhunter Lariat, nearly decapitating the TCW World Heavyweight Champion! RDJ quickly shoots over to his corner, and tags in the monster-like No.1 Contender, Tyson Baine! He comes in with speed that's not expected with men of his size, immediately sending a massive legdrop to "Rough Justice". He pulls Cornell up, and whips him into the corner, before proceeding to spear him into it! He then hangs him in the Tree Of Woe position, and the fans pop huge when he dashes to the opposite corner - before running at full speed to Cornell, to hit his signature "Down To Hell" Low Dropkick! Cornell falls to the mat, as Wolf Hawkins climbs up to the turnbuckle, looking to intercept Baine! Hawkins comes flying towards him, but Baine is quick to counter with a huge Spinebuster! Sam Keith follows Hawkins, and tries for a clothesline, only for Baine to send him up, and then drive him down, with a Death Valley Driver! The ring now cleared, Baine waits for Cornell to get up - then kicks him in the stomach, and nails the Hades Bomb on Cornell once again, pinning him, and getting the victory, in decisive fashion!

Brent Hill, Ricky Dale Johnson, and Tyson Baine win, via pinfall, after Baine hit Tommy Cornell with the Hades Bomb, at 16:43

Vibert: Baine gets the victory! What a powerful showing at the end, by the No.1 Contender, Tyson Baine!

Azaria: Tyson Baine is absolutely rolling going into The War To Settle The Score, as is everyone else currently facing The Syndicate this Sunday!

Vibert: It seems as though Tommy Cornell's TCW World Heavyweight Championship is in bigger jeapordy of changing hands then it has been in months!

Azaria: Agreed, Phil! Can Baine capitolize on this momentum, and win that belt for the first time in almost 10 years?! We'll find out this Sunday! In the mean time, I'm Jason Azaria -

Vibert: - I'm Phil Vibert -

Azaria: - and we will see you, at The War To Settle The Score!

- *The actual price for an Armani Suit. Unbeleivable. I can't even tell the differance between it and a regular suit.

- I REALLY hate how long it takes to get these out. I pride myself on making very detailed shows, but it taking days and days and days to make one show is really starting to get on my nerves, I feel like I'm making people wait longer for them then I should..

- Like I said, I like putting in a lot of detail - that's the way I like reading diaries, so that's naturally the way I like making them - but I understand not everyone comes here looking for novels to read. I want to make these shows easier to skim through for people who don't want to have to read so many walls of texts. I already have the matches quick-result'd at the bottom of them all, I think I'm going to start doing the same with the angles, starting with the next Pay-Per-View.

- That show..felt a tad meh to me. Maybe it's because the segments graded out lower then usual, but this feels like a bit of a weak, "go-home" type show to me, atleast as far as the booking goes. I don't know. Oh well. Still happy in general, with the write-up, but booking wise I felt like I could've done better.

Another very good show, Zeel.

"Go home" shows are pretty typical before the PPV. I found I tended to do them, even when I wasn't intending to. It just kind of happens.

Finding the "balance" in your diary can be tough. The big write-ups are nice to read and its great to see that detail. But if you are finding the time it takes frustrating, the I recommend gradually scaling back. Start with matches that are, relatively, filler. Some segments probably don't require full write-ups either. You can save yourself a great deal of time and frustration with that approach.

As for the Armani suit, I can say that I can definitely tell the difference between a cheap suit and a decent one, and a decent one to a good one. Would I be able to tell the difference from a $500 suit to a $1600 one? Possibly not, but when you get to wear the things, you quickly realize you are paying for better quality and what that means.

The thing about "filler matches" is I'm not really booking any of them, atleast I don't think so. Every match on that card is to either help build someone up, further a story, or hype a match for the PPV. I have only booked one or two sqaush matches, and they were both within the first month of shows. I might eventually scale back a tad, but I don't know, I just get lost in the writing sometimes, and do two or three more paragraphs then is really neccessary. I mean, did you see the Bach/Ino matches a bit ago? There is no reason why the opener of the show should be equal in length to the main event, damn it! :p

As for the suit, I suppose it would have to be that way in order for anyone to spend that much more money on it. But there are some things that stand out to me, that seem like the only reason they're stylish, is because people had to pay a lot of money to wear them. My brother was wearing this tacky green and light purple striped shirt the other day. I told him it looked awful, and he replied "It's a VERY expensive shirt", like that was supposed to make it look better..never liked stuff like that.

February 28th, 2008

Gregory McKay

Good evening, wrestling fans! I'm your favorite Total Anaylst, Gregory McKay, and we are just a few hours away from what looks to be a stellar pay-per-view - The War To Settle The Score! And "War" seems apropos, because every match on this card (Aside from the open challenge) has become VERY personal in recent weeks! First and foremost, ALL titles will be the on the line, and the first match we've got to cover, is perhaps the one that hits home the most - Teddy Powell vs. Sammy Bach, for the All-Action Championship! According to Teddy Powell, Karen Killer has brainwashed into thinking she's the only one that cares about him. It has to be said that ever since Bach and Killer met, he has been pretty much closed off from the rest of the world. Powell blames Killer for Bach detaching himself from all of his friends - including him! Bach has become far more abrasive, and even a good bit darker, of a person then he was a year from now, and Powell looks to get him back on his side, even if that means beating some sense into him! Indeed, this may very well be the most personal match on the show, and it may very well steal that show!

We've got some huge matches on this card, including many headline-level competitors! And one of them is Ricky Dale Johnson vs. Sam Keith! Ever since The Syndicate formed at last year's Malice In Wonderland, (R.I.P) at the expense of one of Ricky Dale Johnson's title shots, RDJ has been the single most consistent enemy of The Syndicate! And things have gotten more heated on a one-on-one level between Ricky Dale and Sam Keith lately. This is indeed the rubber match between these two iconic wrestlers, as the score of wins between them is tied 1-1. But this match has less to do with that, then it does with Sam Keith's injuring of Rocky Golden just two weeks ago! Keith put Golden in the much feared Proton Lock, and kept him in it for a little over two minutes, and that's after the match had ended! RDJ has been an occasional partner of Rocky Golden in recent months, and needless to say, he took great offense to this injuring of his comrade! I talked to him earlier, and he tells me he's a lot angrier at Sam Keith then he's allowed himself to look on TV in recent weeks! He tells me he's looking for blood tonight, and I have to guess Sam Keith is looking for the same! This is definitely one to watch!

To say that there's bad blood between Eric Tyler and Genghis Rahn, would be like saying that the sun is warm! Eric Tyler has been very outspoken against all forms of wrestling that do not fit his own mold of what pro wrestling "should be". Unsurprisingly, his main focus has been on what he calls "garbage wrestling", and unsurprisingly, that has put him at odds with Genghis Rahn. This all started when Rahn got himself DQ'd in a match against Tyler - Tyler's first TCW Total Wrestling match as it were - when he hit "The Wonder" himself with a steel chair! It definitely seemed as though Rahn hated Tyler, but the next week, he would go on record as saying he only did it for the fan's entertainment! This statement didn't make Tyler any happier with what went down, however - in fact, it only enraged him more, citing this as one of the biggest reasons for his hatred of Rahn's style of wrestling - they do such brutal things, not out of hate, but for a reaction! And the week after that, Rahn broke a Singapore Cane over the head of the veteran Tyler, before getting his KO'd rival to "agree" to a match for tonight! And just days ago, Tyler tried to get some revenge in an attack on Rahn, only for that to be foiled by Rick Law! Rahn has all the momentum going into this match, for sure - can he defeat the elitist Tyler, and defend the honor of "garbage wrestling"? Or will Tyler pull out the win, and prove that he is right when he claims that hardcore wrestling is inferior?

Speaking of Rick Law, his Laying Down The Law Challenge continues, and it's going strong. At the last pay-per-view, Malice In Wonderland (R.I.P) Law's challenge brought out Eric Tyler for his first ever TCW match! The challenge is open to absolutely anyone - aside from those that have already answered and lost! Who knows who it could be to answer the call tonight? Find out, only on pay-per-view! And, as I said, all titles are on the line tonight, including the tag team titles! The feud between Danger and Violence and the Tag Team Specialists has gone on for about four months now, and it all started with Oxford and Bryant making fun of Joey Minnesota's old company, DAVE! Minnesota challenged both of the veterans for the next two pay-per-views, but the interferences didn't seem to stop, no matter what he did, and the 2-on-1 situation seemed unbearable! But finally, Eddie Peak, another DAVE Alumnus, came in to help out Minnesota, and they formed under the name of Danger And Violence! They defeated The Tag Team Specialists in their first match as a tag team, and days later, they won the TCW Tag Team Titles in their second! But, as The Tag Team Specialists have reminded us, this is their first two-on-two shot at the tag team titles, since November of 2006! The veteran former champions are definitely angry about that, but their finally getting another shot, and they've looked stronger throughout this month then they have in years! Can they pull out the victory tonight? Or will Danger and Violence's first title defense be a successful one?

Another heated title match is the International Title match! No one will likely ever forget when Brent Hill was kicked out of The Syndicate, in brutal and bloody fashion! He made his return in a big way a couple weeks ago, however, in hitting Wolf Hawkins with a Steel Chair, in the same way that Hawkins hit him with a chair in that attack! Hill then announced that he was going to get revenge on The Syndicate, and that the best way to get that is to take their title belts away! Since Tyson Baine had already been signed for his TCW World Heavyweight Title match against Tommy Cornell, Brent Hill went with the only other option - challenging Wolf Hawkins for the TCW International Title! This is another match that may very well steal the show - Wolf Hawkins is considered by most as the most talented and gifted you athlete in not only Total Championship Wrestling, but in the wrestling business itself! At just 22 years of age, he has his entire career ahead of him, and yet is already a main event-level name! But Brent Hill is on perhaps the exact opposite end of the spectrum. He is considered one of the best wrestlers in America, but has always been just short of the main event scene. Something's always happened to keep Hill out of the spotlight - a screwjob, an injury, just plain being overlooked at times. Many to this day still believe he has what it takes to be World Champion, but at 37, is it too late? Ricky Dale Johnson taught us a few years ago, to never say never, and a win tonight over the most obvious pick for Future World Champion could prove to a lot of his critics that he still has the potential to be the headliner! On a side note, I talked to Brent Hill earlier today, and he let me know that he was planning on debuting a new finisher tonight. He didn't give me any details as to what the move was, but he let me know that it was to be dubbed the Revenge Tour '08 (®) and his plan is to hit every last member of The Syndicate with it by the time 2008 is through! Keep a look out for this new finisher, wrestling fans! The only hint as to what it was he gave me, was that it would be somewhat similar to his former partner John Anderson's "Ammo Dump" move..

And of course, we have our main event! This match is a rematch from Malice In Wonderland (R.I.P) last month, and is only the second time that these two particular Total Icons are meeting, one-on-one in the middle of that ring! At the last PPV, Tommy Cornell narrowly walked out of Plum Park with the TCW World Heavyweight Title around his waist! Many remember the final moment of the match, in which Tyson Baine actually kicked out of the Rough Ride - but just a split second too late! Directly after International Exchange Referee Sabanobu Koruba's hand hit the mat for the third time, Baine powered out! No one has ever kicked out of the Rough Ride, not even Sam Strong! But last month, Tyson Baine came closer then absolutely anyone else ever has, he nearly made history by powering out of perhaps the most dangerous move in all of American Wrestling! Tyson Baine has possibly even more momentum going into this match then he did going into his last title match, he absolutely over-powered The Syndicate last Tuesday! He took Sam Keith and Wolf Hawkins both out of the equation, before hitting the Hades Bomb on Tommy Cornell yet again, and pinning him right in the middle of the ring! This causes many to favor Tyson Baine in this match - as Phil Vibert stated last Tuesday, Tommy Cornell's title reign may be more likely to end tonight, then it has going into any of Tommy Cornell's title defenses! Can the demonic Tyson Baine pull it out, and become TCW World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in nearly a decade? Or will "Rough Justice" do what he has done for the past 14 Pay-Per-Views straight, and that's once again triumph over a top contender? Ladies, Gentlemen, you can not afford to miss this pay-per-view! It looks to be even bigger then Malice In Wonderland! (R.I.P) After all, it does have an extra match! Order TCW The War To Settle To Score - now! (Only $39.99!)

"Southern Justice" Ricky Dale Johnson vs. "The Legendary" Sam Keith

This one could go either way. But RDJ takes it, I think.

"The Wonder" Eric Tyler vs. "The Arizona Assassin" Genghis Rahn

Rahn seems like he has more of a future in TCW than Tyler...

Laying Down The Law Challenge: "The Total Officer" Rick Law vs. ???

Law wins.

TCW Tag Team Championships: Danger and Violence © vs. The Tag Team Specialists

Like D&V more than the TTS.

TCW International Championship: Brent Hill vs. "The Chosen One" Wolf Hawkins ©

Think Hawkins still retains somehow, though.

TCW World Heavyweight Championship: "Rough Justice" Tommy Cornell © vs. Tyson Baine

Baine would be an interesting choice to take the belt from Tommy. But I don't see it.

The thing about "filler matches" is I'm not really booking any of them, atleast I don't think so. :p

I don't mean "filler" in the basic sense. Even when a match is serving a purpose - storyline, character, etc - you can still consider how much detail is really necessary. If you want to get across that the rookie is competative but the experience of the veteran gives them just a bit of an edge, stating that directly can be almost as effective as describing the sequences in detail. Especially if you've already established a certain aspect, such as a heel who cheats constantly. If you've already shown that in previous matches, it becomes less necessary (in my mind) to be as detailed subsequently.

I realized this in my Gen-S diary after Christian Faith won the Supreme championship and was defending it weekly on the Legend s show. Most of the matches followed one or two formulas - Faith either faced a mediocre opponent (midcarder) and was able to control much of the action, or he wrestled an actual opponent and it followed the standard beatdown and comeback formula. One I had established the formulas of those matches a few times, it became less necessary to be as detailed. Unless something specific happened that needed a bit more. Another example would be a tag match that follows the standard "isolation, beatdown, hot tag, clearing house" formula.

The other upside to reducing the match report lengths for TV is that it ends up making the PPVs feel a bit more special, in my mind.

Honestly, I have no issue with the detail you are providing. As a reader, its fine. I don't see other readers complaining, so I'm not really thinking its an issue on this end. But if you find yourself frustrated at the time a show takes to put together, that is the most direct solution.

TCW All-Action Championship: "The Evil Prince" Sammy Bach © vs. "Constant Motion" Teddy Powell

Powell's been built up well as a challenger but I just don't see Bach losing the title to him...just yet. I can the feud possibly being extended with a tainted win (read Karen Killer based interference) for Bach.

"Southern Justice" Ricky Dale Johnson vs. "The Legendary" Sam Keith

Though Keith doesn't need to 'put over' RDJ, Southern Justice has a few more years left. Unless you are planning one last great run for Keith, then I don't see him winning many more matches against established upper card talents.

"The Wonder" Eric Tyler vs. "The Arizona Assassin" Genghis Rahn

This feud has a few more rounds to run yet, so I think Tyler wins this match with hypocritical use of hardcore tactics.

Laying Down The Law Challenge: "The Total Officer" Rick Law vs. ???

Not sure how much longer this whole Laying Down The Law angle is running for, so I'd go for the safe pick of Law seeing off another challenger.

TCW Tag Team Championships: Danger and Violence © vs. The Tag Team Specialists

D&V hold onto these belts, I can see The New Wave possibly getting involved in this match also.

TCW International Championship: Brent Hill vs. "The Chosen One" Wolf Hawkins ©

Brent Hill wins the match but Hawkins retains the belt, probably by taking a cheap count out loss.

TCW World Heavyweight Championship: "Rough Justice" Tommy Cornell © vs. Tyson Baine

Can't see Baine being the one to end Cornell's reign as champion.

<3 Bach and he will have it for a long time

"Southern Justice" Ricky Dale Johnson vs. "The Legendary" Sam Keith

Help for Human Arsenal possibly. Dont see it ending clean

"The Wonder" Eric Tyler vs. "The Arizona Assassin" Genghis Rahn

Gut feeling.

Laying Down The Law Challenge: "The Total Officer" Rick Law vs. ???

TCW Tag Team Championships: Danger and Violence © vs. The Tag Team Specialists

Too early to end

TCW International Championship: Brent Hill vs. "The Chosen One" Wolf Hawkins ©

I think Hill gets DQ'd. Possibly taking out his frustration

TCW World Heavyweight Championship: "Rough Justice" Tommy Cornell © vs. Tyson Baine

It's TC man.

one note though, this diary lacks Freddy Huggins imo :(

Brought to you LIVE, from the Doyle Lane, and on Pay-Per-View!

Take Back by Green Day, the opening theme of The War To Settle The Score 2008, hits, as highlights of the current TCW feuds play across the screen. It eventually all cracks and breaks, to show the crowd at the Doyle Lane! They're going wild with anticipation, as our announcers Jason Azaria and Phil Vibert hype up the show!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JasonAzaria.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/PhilVibert.jpg

Jason Azaria: The night has finally arrived! Folks, we've waited a full month, but finally TCW has returned to Pay Per View - This is The War To Settle The Score! I'm Jason Azaria, this is my broadcast partner, Phil Vibert, and what a card we have in store tonight!

Phil Vibert: You ain't kidding, Jason - Tyson Baine vs. Tommy Cornell for the TCW World Heavyweight Championship is the headliner for tonight! Can Baine do what he almost did at Malice In Wonderland (R.I.P) and kick out of the Rough Ride? Or will Tommy Cornell's already record-breaking title reign continue?

Azaria: That is the main event, but it's not the only big match on the card, not by a longshot! And it's not the only title match we have either - Wolf Hawkins will be defending his TCW International Title against Brent Hill in his first singles match in a month in a half! Will we see the debut of his new finisher, the Revenge Tour '08? Or will Wolf Hawkins continue his run of dominance over the International Title scene?

Vibert: We also have a Tag Team Title showdown, between two of the best tag teams in the business today - Danger and Violence, repping DAVE big time, going against The Tag Team Specialists, the single most tenured team in the business since the Vessey Brothers! Can D&V retain their belts, and DAVE's dignity, or will The Tag Team Specialists ride supreme as the top tag team in the world one last time?

Azaria: And we also have Eric Tyler taking on Genghis Rahn - it's Hardcore vs. Tradition! That guideline has went along with some of the hottest feuds in the history of the wrestling business, and tonight it's the guideline between two veteran wrestlers! Will Tyler prove that the old school is superior, or will Rahn beat some open-mindedness in him?

Vibert: We still aren't finished - we've also got the massive rubber match of the ages, Ricky Dale Johnson vs. Sam Keith for only the third time! It's 1-1 between these two Total Icons, these two legends of the business! Ricky Dale Johnson won their last meeting in January, but Sam Keith defeated RDJ months ago in his first-ever TCW match! Who will win this tiebreaker of epic proportions?

Azaria: An-...and as Teddy Powell's theme is now starting, now is the time for our opener tonight! Teddy Powell vs. Sammy Bach for the All-Action Championship, and they may steal the show right off the bat!

Vibert: You're damned right this may steal the show, I knew when I recruited them to DAVE they could steal shows, and I knew when I recruited them to TCW, they could steal shows!

Azaria: And you know, I hear this theme that Powell picked, P.O.D's "Addicted", is actually a message to Sammy Bach! He beleives he's addicted to Karen Killer, he says that she's caused him to seperate from his friends, from his family! Powell thinks that Killer is ruining Sammy Bach's life!

Vibert: Well, he's said stuff like that before, but what he hasn't said is a motive. Why would Karen Killer do that? What would she have to gain from screwing with Bach's head?

Azaria: I don't suppose I could tell you, Phil. But all that put aside, this match should still be a great one, and definately a hotly contested one, let's get this underway!

Teddy Powell vs. Sammy Bach

As Vibert and Azaria continue hyping the PPV, out comes Teddy Powell to "Addicted" by P.O.D, to a pretty nice response. His drive to help his friend out of what he thinks is a life ruining situation, mixed with a very impressive first month in TCW, has helped him to catch on with the fans quite quickly. He shows some high energy, as he dashes down the ramp, high fiving a few fans. They seem to be investing into the story, as there are a few signs seeable in the crowd, egging Powell on in his crusade, or asking Bach to see the truth, things like that. He makes the Adrenaline Rush "A" Hand Gesture on the top rope, before jumping down and pacing the mat, staring at the stage. Suddenly, the lights go black, and "Capricorn" by 30 Seconds To Mars hits, to a roar of jeers. Once the intro is done, flames actually erupt from the sides of the apron, catching Powell off-gaurd. Bach's regular entrance of kicking through a faded screen follow this, and he makes his way out, with the All-Action Title on one arm, and Karen Killer on the other. He gazes at her while walking down the ramp, looking absolutely whipped. But as soon as his eyes avert to his opponent, those very eyes just about flash white with rage, as he jumps up to the apron, and into the ring. Powell and Bach stand face-to-face, pressing each other's foreheads together. Bach is the face of anger, while Powell seems to be keeping his intensity down to a much more calmer degree.

Nobodies calm once the bell rings, however, they immediately go back and forth with punches, throwing the high flying All-Action style out of the window to start things off! They trade shots back and forth, with neither seeming to gain an edge! But finally Sammy Bach takes control after ducking a Powell shot, to get a jumping Spin Kick to the face of his former partner! Bach looks like he may cover, but surprisingly Powell is quick to get up to his knees, then struggle to his feet. "Constant Motion" quickly goes back on the offensive with a big haymaker of a punch, that knocks Bach down, but Bach is too is quick to get back to his feet. The high flying portion of the match starts shortly after this, when Bach counters a bulldog by throwing Powell into the corner, only for Powell to bounce back with a crossbody that nearly costs Bach the All-Action Title! Bach is quick to counter though, as soon as he's up, he nails a Rolling Wheel Kick, which earns him control, and a nearfall.

While on the attack, Bach scores with a unique move - a hurricarana, that takes Powell head-first into the second turnbuckle, which Bach follows up with by hitting a running knee to the side of Powell's head! This only earns a two count, however. Bach tries to throw Powell to the floor, but he's able to stay on the apron. Bach then goes for a Superkick, but Powell is able to duck it, then Back Body Drop Bach over the ropes and to the outside! The first big spot of the match is hit here, when Powell re-enters the ring, and goes all the way across the ring, bouncing off the ropes for a huge Suicide Dive, clearing the ropes completely! Powell hits the move, but perhaps with a little too much force - he ends up smashing the top of his own head into the barricade upon impact! Powell does still get up first, but very woozily, as referee Ray Johnson gets the count up to 5. Powell pulls Bach to his feet, and drags him into the ring, trying for the victory, but he only manages a 2 count.

Now a little past the 7:00 mark, Powell stays in control, but looks pretty out of it while doing so, clearly feeling the effects of the barricade ramming. He's thusly looking to put Bach away as quick as he can now, so the injury doesn't play into the match. Powell takes a risk with a big Springboard Dropkick, but Bach stops those plans with a Jumping Side Heel Kick that catches Powell right in the stomach! The challenger crashes to the mat, and Bach covers, but Powell is able to kick out of it. Bach pulls Powell up by the hair, and power whips him into the corner. Bach runs behind him, then bounces off the ropes as Powell staggers out of the corner, to catch him with a Running Bulldog, that gains another nearfall. Now it's Bach turn to go for the high risk offense, going out to the apron, attempting the Slingshot Legdrop - his former finisher, and as Phil Vibert points out, a move that Powell taught him - but Teddy Powell is just able to sit-up in time, and Bach crashes and burns!

Bach stays in a sitting position for a bit, and Powell is quick to bounce off the ropes, and capitilizes by surprisingly nailing a Glittering Magician Knee! The fans pop for this move, which is rarely seen in America, but when Powell covers, Bach shows stunning resiliance in kicking out! Powell then decides to show Bach how it's done, by nailing the Slingshot Legdrop he attempted moments ago, but this too, only renders a two count! Powell looks a bit surprise that Bach was able to kick out of his old finisher, but Powell decides to use one his own newer finishers to try putting him away, climbing up to the top rope, going for a Shooting Star Legdrop - but this time, Bach is the one who is just able to get out of the way in time! Bach quickly goes for a cover, trying to capitilize on Powell's mistake, but Powell shows his resiliance in kicking out! An angered Bach grabs Powell by the hair, and pulls him by it, before going for the Adrenaline Rush! But Powell is able to shove Bach away, and he goes for the Motion Censor Roundhouse Kick - but Bach ducks it, and then hits the Adrenaline Rush! He hits the Adrenaline Rush! Bach covers! 1...2..no, Powell just barely kicks out!

The fans pop hugely as Bach looks absolutely shocked! Bach pulls Powell back up to his feet by the hair again, and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Powell reverses, sending him into the ropes as well - and from there, Powell hits the Adrenaline Rush himself! Powell hits the finisher he invented, and covers the All-Action Champion, but this time Bach kicks out! And now Powell looks absolutely shocked, both of these men have now kicked out of the Adrenaline Rush finisher! Powell grabs Bach up by the hair, and pulls him to his feet, before hitting the ropes, but Bach is able to duck the clothesline, and when he turns around, he hits a swift shot to the face of Powell! The two weary All-Action Title Contenders slowly trade punches, garnering yet another "Boo!/Yah!" chant, almost as if Bach matches are a magnet for them! Eventually, Teddy Powell gains control, sending punch after punch to Bach, until he's against the ropes! Powell tries to whip Bach, but the "Evil Prince" is able to reverse it, instead whipping Powell, and actually whipping him right into referee Ray Johnson!

Johnson goes down hard, and Powell looks quite concerned when he sees this! He tries to revive the referee for a moment, but Bach quickly interupts those plans with a running kick to the side of Powell's head! Bach rains punches down onto the face of Powell, and then makes his way over to the corner! A quick close-up shows that Powell's eyes are completely glazed over at this point, now at the 12:00 mark, he's been dealing with a head injury for over 5 minutes, as Sammy Bach goes for a Frog Splash! But Powell is able to roll out of the way, and Bach hits hard! Powell fights to get to his feet first, and stands over Bach for a second..but Karen Killer suddenly slides into the ring behind Powell - low blow! Powell goes down! Referee Ray Johnson starts to stir, as Bach crawls over Powell for a very slow count - 1..2..no! Powell just barely kicks out again! Bach is seriously starting to look frustrated here, pounding the mat in anger, as Azaria asks what either of these two have to do to put the other away!

Karen Killer stays on the apron, trying to support Bach, ready for anymore interferance, as the referee goes to the corner to recover, too dazed to argue with her. Meanwhile, Bach pulls Powell up by the hair, and talks a bit of trash to him, but Powell is able to shove him away, and Bach almost knocks into Killer, but is able to stop himself just in time! Bach gives a big sigh of relief, then gazes at his beloved valet again, before turning back to Powell, just in time to see him go for the Motion Censor Roundhouse Kick - but Bach ducks, and he hits Killer with it!!! Powell and Bach both put on a look of absolute shock, as the crowd goes silent, not quite sure how to react! Powell looks over at Bach with a look of guilt, but Bach is too busy staring at his fallen valet to notice! He looks at Killer with a frozen shocked expression..before slowly turning to Powell, his face twisting into insane rage! Powell nods his head "no", trying to explain it was an accident, but Bach quickly tackles Powell down, and rains down a few more punches, before locking him into the Bach On Your Back on the mat! The move is locked in more viciously then ever before, as Bach swings Powell back and forth, looking to put him in as much pain as is possible! Referee Ray Johnson is back up now, and he goes over to ask Powell if he gives up - but he's vigerously nodding "no"! Powell is in the hold for over a minute here, but he refuses to give in! Finally, Powell's struggling starts, and Ray Johnson grabs his left arm. He taps it a few times, before pulling it up..

The arm falls once..

The arm falls twice..

..and the arm falls a third time! Powell's out! That's it!

Sammy Bach retains his title, but he's not very quick to release the hold, as "Capricorn" plays again! Finally Ray Johnson pulls Powell away from Bach, but Bach tackles him again, putting more punches to him! It's at this point the crowd decides who's side to take in this - they jeer Bach loudly, as he is now putting the boots to Powell! Bach kicks Powell out of the ring, then follows him outside it! Bach sends powerful kicks and punches to Powell, knocking his near knocked out self up the rampway, beating him up all the way up the ramp, and to the back!

Sammy Bach wins, after Teddy Powell passed out in the Bach On Your Back, at 14:39, to retain his title

Azaria: My God! Folks, that..that was an amazing match, but my God, was the ending painful to watch..

Vibert: Every last bit of it was painful to watch..Teddy Powell..I-I can't think he meant to do what he did out there-

Azaria: Oh no, absolutely not, Teddy Powell would not have hit the Motion Censor on Killer on purpose, I really don't think so..

Vibert: ...although he does seem to really despise her..

Azaria: Don't talk like that, Phil! Powell wouldn't have done that to her, no matter how much she may have had it coming! But Sammy Bach is absolutely furious, I bet he's still assaulting Powell in the back, as we speak!

Vibert: The fights spilt to the back, this is a chaotic scene..and Karen Killer still hasn't gotten up, she's right were she was after being kicked, laid out on the apron..

Azaria: I can only hope she'll be okay, Phil..

Vibert: Me too, Jason, and in the meantime, we would now like to send you to the beautiful Jasmine Saunders. Jasmine?

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/JasmineSaunders.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/EricTyler.jpg

Backstage Segment

Cut to the back, to see Jasmine Saunders, but she doesn't have her typical cheery expression. This may have something to do with either the attack on Powell just now, or with the man she is about to interview..

Jasmine Saunders: Thank you, Phil. Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time, I'd like you to please welcome, the most tenured man on the TCW roster, Eric Tyler. Eric?

The screen pans to show "The Wonder" himself, and booing can be heard in the background. He doesn't speak, so Jasmine takes that as the cue to continue.

Saunders: So, Tyler, tonight is the night you and Genghis Rahn go face to f-

Eric Tyler: Tonight is the night I have been waiting for since February 2nd. Tonight is the night, that I get my hands on that greasy, viking reject, wanna-be hardcore, glorified stunt man, Genghis Rahn. The..single..most over-rated man, in TCW. A man who has made his living in this wrestling business...in my wrestling business. I can't wait to go out in that ring, I can't wait to take him down, and keep him there. I can't wait to beat the ever-loving hell out of him, I can't wait, I really can't. Genghis Rahn is a man that makes a disgrace of this sport, of this great sport, every single time he steps into the ring. Tonight, I'm going to make sure that this is the last time he spits in the faces of men like Crippler Ray Kingman, solely by existing in that sqaured circle. This is going to be the last time. I'm going to dismantle him tonight, and end his caree-

Suddenly, a hand drops down onto Tyler's shoulder, from off-screen. The veteran Tyler jumps in surprise, then shoots around to see who it is. His face twists into one of disgust, as the screen pans to reveal Genghis Rahn.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/GenghisRahn.jpg

Genghis Rahn: I'm sorry..can you repeat? Di-did you seriously just say, that every time I step into a ring, I spit in the face of Crippler Ray Kingman? Is that really what you said?

Tyler: Ye-

Rahn: -You know what, on second thought, don't tell me. I really don't care. Your hyperbole aside, do you really think you're going to end my career tonight?

Tyler: Yes, I d-

Rahn: -Shut up. Do you know what I've gone through in my career, Eric? Do you know how many massive falls I've taken? Do you know how much glass is still inside me, that doctors could'nt remove without causing an internal injury? How many times I've been set on fire? Do you, Eric? ...Because I don't! I've taken far too many chair shots to remember stuff like that.

Rahn's serious expression turns to a calm smile, and he laughs a bit before patting Tyler on the shoulder. Tyler quickly jerks away, in disgust.

Rahn: But anyway..Eric, do you really think you can just up and end my career here? Do you really think this will be my last match, ever?

Tyler: Yes, Genghis, I honestly d-

Rahn: -Well I sure as hell don't! I mean, Tyler, no offense - but I've faced guys like Tyson Baine in cell matches, and Ricky Dale Johnson in first blood matches..hell, just a month ago, I was wrestling Sam Keith in a hardcore match, and here I am, continuing my career. And you think that you can go out there with me in a straight up match..and force me to walk away?

Tyler: ...

Rahn: Go ahead.

Tyler: You mentioned Sam Keith. Keith is a great man. Keith is an astounding wrestler, a man of my own mold.

Rahn: Uh-huh..

Tyler: You survived a garbage rules match with him. You had the advantage, in a type of.."match"..that he is not at all used to wrestling. And he still beat you. That goes to show just how great he is. Rahn, in a "straight up" wre-...in an actual wrestling match, Keith would have torn you apart. He would have ripped your limbs out of their sockets. He would've injured you just like he did Rocky Golden a couple weeks ago. He would've made you beg for mercy, and he would've made you walk away - if you were so lucky as to retain that ability. That is the same thing I will do to you tonight. I'm going to show you just dangerous old school wrestling really is. You're getting the real hardcore style of wrestling tonight..you'd best brace yourself.

A now emotionless Tyler turns and walks away, leaving Genghis, who has an almost amused smile on his face. He nods "no", as the screen cuts back to the arena.

Eric Tyler has an interview backstage, which was interupted by Genghis Rahn. They didn't come to blows, but Tyler assures Rahn and us, that he shall be ending the 5-Time Hardcore Champion's career tonight.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

Azaria: Some choice words from Eric Tyler just then! Phil, even a guy as tenured as Tyler, has some nerve saying stuff like that to a guy like Genghis Rahn!

Vibert: Tyler's always had a lot of nerve. He thinks he's a big role model. Well, he is - an awful one. He's a bad influence on our future veterans.

Azaria: "Future veterans"? That's kind of an oxymoron, but I agree with you..

Vibert: Well, you know what I mean. It's a bad influence on people, he's giving them a bad sign of what to do when you're around longer then everyone else, of how to conduct themselves.

Genghis Rahn vs. Eric Tyler

"Chinese Democracy" by Guns 'N Roses hits, and the fans erupt in jeers, as out comes Eric Tyler. He scowls to the fans, turning his head away from one section in disgust, only to find another that he hated just as much. He garners a mass of heat, when he stops near the front row, where a little six year old is mocking him. Tyler turns away for a bit, and then snaps back and slams his hands on the barricade, screaming at the little boy, effectively scaring him. The boys dad pulls him away, as Tyler continues walking down the ramp with a smug smile, proud of that act. He slides into the ring and, as he is so masterfully done, has effectively ended his entrance with more hatred from the fans then he began it with. The reaction does a total 180 once "The Bleeding" by Five Finger Death Punch hits, and out comes Genghis Rahn, as always with a shopping cart of hardcore weapons. He gives it a powerful shove, and it rolls all the way down the rampway, hitting the ring apron. He strides down the ramp himself, quite pleased with the reception tonight, before climbing up into the shopping cart, standing on top of a trash can. He stands eye-to-eye, well, sort of, with Tyler, before stepping onto the apron from the shopping cart..

..but before he can get in, Tyler runs up to Rahn with a huge kick to the face that sends him off the apron, and the into the metal cart! The cart ends up breaking his fall however, and it rolls backwards and into the barricade. Rahn rolls off of it, a tad woozy from the kick, but generally okay. Referee Sam Sparrow is furious with this, and is admonishing Tyler, as Rahn is slapping the cobwebs out of his head. Rahn's calmness seems to slowly evaporate, and while Sparrow's distracted with Tyler in the ring, Rahn decides to check the cart, and picks up..a flouresent lightbulb? The fans pop huge as this hardcore weapon - typically only seen in trashy Indy companies - comes onto the PPV screen! Rahn gets up to a knee onto the apron, as Sam Sparrow turns to see the long light tube, in shock! He's immediately nodding his head, screaming at Rahn to not even THINK about it! Sparrow grabs the light tube, and after a short struggle, Rahn conceeds. Genghis is not taking his eyes off Tyler as he enters the ring, and Sparrow places the light tube away from the action, on top of the steel steps. Rahn enters the ring, and they have a tense staredown, as Sparrow rings the bell.

Rahn goes for a forearm, but Tyler is the first to strike with a surprise headbutt that nearly takes Rahn down! Genghis, though, ever-tough is able to stay on his feet, but this just adds to the wooziness he was already feeling, and Tyler swiftly takes Rahn down with a Double Leg Trip, before immediately trying to put him with away with a Texas Cloverleaf, but Rahn is able to kick him away. Tyler keeps control though, swiftly bouncing back with a running kick to the forehead of the downed Rahn! A cover here, but Rahn kicks out before the 2. Tyler pulls Rahn up a bit by the hair, then locks in a Dragon Sleeper, adding his knee to the shoulders of Rahn for extra pressure! While it would generally seem like far too early for a guy like Rahn to submit, it has to be said that the pressure in the hold seems crippling, and there doesn't appear to be many ways out of it! Rahn struggles for a bit, before eventually stretching his legs forward, then bridging himself upwards! Rahn gets close to a standing postion, before rearing back and grabbing Tyler by the back of the head - it takes a few tries, but Rahn is eventually able to get him over with a Snapmare, breaking the hold!

Rahn follows up with a Knee Drop, trying to regain his senses, not quite expecting Tyler to go all-out so quickly. Rahn rests on the ropes, holding his head, trying to fight away his haziness, as Tyler makes his way back to his feet! Tyler shoots in, trying for the Double Leg Trip again, but at the last minute, Rahn gets in a Knee Lift that just about knocks Tyler right out! The fans pop this deadly counter, as Rahn quickly covers, but Tyler kicks out just after the 2! A quick replay shows just how dead-on the knee was, as Vibert notes that the match has resembled a GAMMA fight so far! Rahn pulls Tyler up, and hits a Sustained Suplex, for another 2, rallying for fan support while holding "The Wonder" up into the air! Rahn tries to whip Tyler into the ropes, but Tyler holds on, and instead whips Rahn into the ropes! Tyler quickly follows up with a clothesline, then sets Rahn up in Tree Of Woe position! Tyler makes his way to the opposite turnbuckle, then plays up to the crowd for a bit, before trying for the Low Running Dropkick - but at the last second, Rahn is able to pull himself up by the top rope, and Tyler ends up accidentally crotching himself on the ring post!

The fans pop this somewhat comedic spot, as Rahn gets back down to the mat, and pulls Tyler out of the corner, before going for a cover, but this only gains 2! The match continues for a bit, with Rahn in control, until Tyler counters a clothesline attempt with a surprise kick-in-DDT! Tyler covers, but Rahn just narrowly kicks out! Tyler looks shocked that one of the feircest moves of the 80's did not put Rahn away! So Tyler tries for another of them, going for the Boston Crab, but Rahn is able to shoot forward to the ropes, before Tyler can apply much pressure. Tyler looks annoyed now, as he grabs Rahn up by the hair - but before he can do anything, Rahn drops to his knees, and then hits a sharp back hand to the stomach of Tyler, as is one of his trademarks! Tyler doubles over, and Rahn quickly goes for the Running Bulldog that he typically uses to follow this up, but Tyler is able to counter by holding him up in Back Suplex position for a moment - before driving him into the mat, facefirst! The fans give a loud "Ooooh" to this sick looking manuever, as Tyler covers, very confident in his victory - but Rahn kicks out, much to his disbelief!

Tyler pounds the mat in anger, before pulling Rahn up, once again, by the hair! Tyler whips behind Rahn - and then brings him up by the arms, locking him into the Tradition Lift Double Chicken Wing! Rahn quickly starts screaming in agony up in the air, and he desperately tries to fight out of it, resorting to back kicks to the abdomin of Tyler! He hits once, twice, three times, but Tyler is enduring it, applying as much pressure as possible! Rahn tries to bend his arms back to grab Tyler's, but the leverage advantage is just too much! After being in it for over 30 seconds, Rahn goes to a new tactic - he uses his right arm, to push the right arm of Tyler closer to their left arms. Then, Rahn uses both hands on Tyler's right arm, to slowly twist around in the air! Taking Tyler's leverage advantage away, Rahn is able to drop down to the mat - and he swiftly scoops Tyler up in Samoan Drop position! The fans pop huge as they know what's coming! Rahn does indeed go for the Rahn To The Hills, spinning once, twice - but before the third spin that preceeds the Death Valley Driver, Tyler gets a thumb into Rahn's eye! Rahn swiftly grabs his eye in pain, leaving Tyler to fall to the mat! The veteran Tyler scrambles to his feet, and follows up with a Chop Block!

Sam Sparrow again finds himself abmonishing Tyler, before checking on Rahn. As soon as Rahn's up, Tyler takes him by the hair, and throws him to the outside, but he's able to keep onto the apron! From here, Tyler just says "Screw it", and goes outside the ring! He looks under the ring for a moment - before taking out a steel chair?! Sparrow looks horrified, and immediately grabs the chair! The two wrestle for it for a bit, but eventually Tyler conceeds and allows the former Head Official to take it away - but he only does this because he sees the light tube still left on the steel steps! Tyler scrambles over to the corner, as Sam Sparrow goes to put the Steel Chair back under the ring! Tyler takes up the Light Tube - then shatters over the head of Rahn, who just then stood up onto the apron! Tyler kicks the shards of glass that didn't fall to the floor off of the apron, just as Sparrow turns his attention back to the match! Rahn is out on his feet, as Tyler suplexes him back in, then covers - 1, 2, 3! It's over!

Eric Tyler wins, via pinfall, after hitting Rahn with a Light Tube while the referee was busy, at 9:33

Azaria: My Lord, I can't beleive this! Tyler uses that Light Tube to win this match!

Vibert: Well hell, Rahn shouldn't have brought it to ringside! He would've used it!

Azaria: I agree, Phil, but Tyler's been talking all this trash about hardcore wrestling, what a damned hypocrite!

Vibert: Jason, listen, I know Eric Tyler - he DOES hate Hardcore Wrestling, beleive you me. He hated doing it, I'm sure, but times looked bleak. He did what he had to do to win?

Azaria: Phil, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were defending him..

Vibert: Oh hell no! Why would I be defending him? Do you know how much crap he gave me, all those years in DAVE? I'm just stating the facts, but you're right, it's hypocritical and it's a vile act.

Azaria: In any case, we'd like to now send you to the always lovely Jasmine Saunders once again! Jas?

Backstage Segment

Cut to the back once again, to see a much more happier Jasmine Saunders.

Jasmine Saunders: Thank you, Jason. Ladies and Gentlemen, standing by me at this time, is the former TCW World Heavyweight Champion, Ricky Dale Johnson!

The screen pans to show RDJ and a massive pop is heard in the background. He looks as calm and cool as always, with a hint of a smile added after hearing his reception.

Ricky Dale Johnson: 'Sup, cutie.

Saunders: Heh..now Ricky, tonight you go face-to-face with another Total Icon. This will be the third time that you and Sam Keith wrestle each other in that ring. Both of your matches so far have been classics, and as everyone is hyping, the score is currently 1-1..it's being hyped as the rubber match, but it's a lot more then that to you, isn't it?

RDJ: That's right it is..you'll remember, last month, I made some comments about Sam Keith, and how he acts..almost like a turncoat. He seems to have turned his back on his ideals completely. He sold his soul, and joined The Syndicate..and honestly? It was heart breaking. People who read my biography that I did last year will know, I didn't start watching wrestling until quite a late age. And when I first started watching, I didn't buy into Sam Strong or Rip Chord, like everyone else..I watched for Sam Keith. I've said it before - he was my favorite. And aybe he wasn't always the nicest guy in the world..but damn it, he had standards! He wouldn't sink so low, as to join up with Tommy..that's not the Sam Keith I watched when I was a teenager. That's not the man that was once my favorite wrestler. That's not the man whose career I followed, no matter what - whether he went to Mexico, whether he went to Japan, I'd find a way to watch his matches, it's not the same guy! ..Last month, he showed respect to his opponents..occassionally. I thought it was a glimpse of his former self coming up..but then I saw what he did to Rocky Golden. He injured him. He locked him into one of the most deadly submission holds in the game, and he put him on the shelf..it was yet another side of Sam Keith, that I didn't think I had seen before. And it was sickening. Not only because Rocky Golden is my ocassional partner, and my friend, but because it furthers the question..just who is Sam Keith? People said, when he joined with The Syndicate, that Keith was showing his true colors..but is that right? How do we know his true colors aren't behind him? Which Sam Keith..is the real Sam Keith? The Keith of the 90's, or the Keith of today..?

RDJ looks down, for a moment, then looks back to Saunders.

RDJ: Tonight..I hope I meet him. I hope I meet..the real Sam Keith. I hope to wrestle..the real Sam Keith.

With that, RDJ turns and walks away, and we cut back to the arena..

Ricky Dale Johnson cut a promo backstage about his upcoming match with Sam Keith. He asks - "Who is the real Sam Keith? The one of the 90's, or the one of today?"

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_b.jpg

Vibert: Hmm..who do you think the real Sam Keith is, Jason?

Azaria: Phil..I'm a little like RDJ here, I just..don't think I know, anymore..

Vibert: Well, let's not stew on that. We've got a big tag team title match coming up next!

Azaria: That we do, Phil. This match has been building for a while now, folks - it all started last November, when The Tag Team Specialists were mocking DAVE, the beloved former company of both Eddie Peak and Joey Minnesota!

Vibert: Minnesota made me proud by defending my former comapanies honor, and he fought valiantly against the veteran wrestlers, but the numbers kept catching up to Minnesota, and he just couldn't get them out of his way.

Azaria: Then, just when things looked bleak, he got some assistance from a, to put it mildly, unexpected source - Eddie Peak, of all people, came to his rescue, and from there, Danger And Violence formed!

Vibert: The two paired together with the sole purpose of taking it to The Tag Team Specialists, but later in the show, after defeating them, the team of veterans made a challenge for the Tag Titles, that obviously Peak and Minnesota felt, was un-deserved!

Azaria: This eventually lead to a huge four-way tag team title match, that Danger And Violence ended up winning, and after only one full week of teaming, Danger And Violence won the tag team championships!

Vibert: After that, a Mini-Tournament was held to decide which team would be the first to challenge them, and The Tag Team Specialists fought their way here! The feud comes to an end, as far as I know, up next!

TCW Tag Team Championship

The Tag Team Specialists vs. Danger and Violence

Alice In Chains' "Them Bones" hits, and the fans do not have any love at all to give, as The Tag Team Specialists make their way out of the entrance way, and down the ramp. They have amped up their usual steely-eyed determination - it is indeed their first two-on-two Tag Team Title shot in nearly two years, and they aren't looking to waste it. They don't make much of an entrance, as they simply slide into the ring. They do have some choice words for some of the people in Section B-2, though. "Freak On A Leash" by KoRn hits, to a tremendous ovation, and out come perhaps the most popular tag team in TCW today, Danger and Violence, both wearing the TCW Tag Team Championships, proudly around their waists. Minnesota plays to the crowd, as Eddie Peak starts head banging to them, and they head band back, again closely resembling a mosh pit. The aura that is usually found in an Eddie Peak entrance is once again attained here, as the Tag Team Champions make their way down the ramp, and into the ring.

..And Eddie Peak wastes no time in going on the offensive, he nails an Ed Henson Press onto Robert Oxford before the bell can even ring, and rains down punches to a pop! Joel Bryant tries to get Peak off of his partner, but he is quickly met with a running dropkick from Minnesota! IE Referee Terakado quickly tries to seperate Peak from Oxford, but he's ignoring him completely! Terakado takes a glance over at Minnesota, who just shrugs in response, before stepping out to the apron, as Peak keeps pouring down punch after punch! After another failed attempt at getting Peak off of Oxford, Terakado just rings the bell Once the bell rings, Peak grabs Oxford by the hair, kicks him in the stomach, and goes for the Peak Of Perfection - but Robert Oxford rakes the eyes of Peak, to escape the devastating finisher! Oxford is quick to turn around, and he sends a forearm to the back of Peak's head, before trying to follow up with a Running Bulldog - but Peak is quick to shove him away. Peak goes for a clothesline, but Oxford ducks it, and then hits a Dropkick to the right knee of Peak, that takes him down to one knee. Oxford then puts some stops to the right leg, not wasting any time in singling it out and working it. Oxford pulls Peak by his hair to his corner, then slams him down, and tags in Joel Bryant. They show their masterfull tagwork, as Oxford lifts Bryant up into a Back Suplex position, then drops down for an Asissted Double Legdrop! Oxford goes to his corner, as Bryant covers, but Peak kicks out just before the 2 count!

Bryant keeps the advantage on Peak for a while, continuing to work the right leg. Bryant pulls Peak's leg up, and locks him into a tight Single Leg Boston Crab! Peak is able to elevate himself on the mat enough to crawl towards his own corner, but Bryant is able to re-ground him, and apply for more pressure! Peak has to fight back up into his elevated position, and he shoots forward again, but Bryant is again able to re-ground him, just short of him making the tag to Minnesota! Peak's partner is reaching out desperately to tag him in, but he's fingertips away! Bryant sends a few forearms onto the right leg, while still wrenching on it with all of his might! This pisses off Peak, motivating him to twist himself around to his back, and hit a few closed-fisted punches to the forehead of the "Straight Shooter"! Bryant is dazed, and Peak twists back to tag in Minnesota! Quick as a cat, Minnesota climbs up the turnbuckle, and nails a flying Shoulder Block to break Peak out of the hold! Minnesota pulls Bryant to his feet, then irish whips him to the far ropes, before springboarding off the near ropes - Bryant rebounds and Minnesota nails a Springboard Dropkick! Minnesota covers, but the tough veteran is able to kick out!

The pace of the match definately quickens as Minnesota takes control, hitting high impact moves one after the other, ending the series with a harsh Gordbuster, that earns a very narrow nearfall! Minnesota pulls Bryant back up, and whips him to the ropes - Bryant rebounds, and Minnesota nails a Snap Powerslam, for another split second 2 count! Minnesota pulls him up again, and whips him to the ropes again - but Bryant reverses it and whips him instead, then catches him with a Single Arm DDT, driving his left arm into the mat! Bryant starts working on the left arm of Minnesota, wrapping his arm around his knee, and driving it into the mat over and over, sending stomp after stomp onto it, until it's effectively a weak limb. Bryant pulls Minnesota up, and throws him shoulder-first into the steel turnbuckle post! Bryant pulls Minnesota back, and then pulls him up with a suplex, before scoop slamming him down from that position, (Think Snow Plow) and Bryant covers quite sure of his victory, but Minnesota just kicks out! Bryant starts to get a bit frustrated, and he decides to finish Minnesota off now - Bryant pulls Joey Minnesota up to his feet, and goes for the One Shot Drop - but Minnesota is able to spin a bit in air, and land on his feet! He nails Bryant with a dropkick, then follows that up by heading up to the top rope for a Flying Elbow Drop! Minnesota pins, but Robert Oxford is in quick, to break up the pinfall! Referee Terakado abominishes Oxford, and calls him back to the apron, and Oxford puts up some resistance - and during the distraction, Oxford is able to get up to his knees behind Minnesota, and nail him with a low blow! At this exact moment, Oxford retreats to his corner, and Bryant rolls up Minnesota - but he just barely kicks out!

Enraged that this blatant cheating did not suceed, Bryant pulls Minnesota up, and again throws him left shoulder first into the steel ringpost, but this time it's into the Tag Team Specialists corner! Bryant pulls Minnesota into a Side Headlock, readying him for a suplex, as Oxford blind tags himself in. Oxford makes his way into the ring, and the veteran tandem hit a Double Suplex on Minnesota! Oxford float overs to cover Minnesota for yet another two count, and at this point, the always incensed Eddie Peak is nearly frothing at the mouth to get back into this match! Robert Oxford plays it up to the crowd, earning a little more heat, as he is so well versed at doing, before heading up to the second rope! He poses for a bit, before going for his signature Second Rope Knee Drop - but Minnesota gets the leg up, sending his foot into the jaw of Oxford! This leaves "The Phenom" dazed on the ropes, and the hurt Minnesota desperately crawls over towards his corner, as the crowd eggs him on! Oxford comes to his senses, and grabs Minnesota up by the ankle, but Minnesota is able to stand, with his back to Oxford - and nail a backwards Enziguri! The fans pop huge as this gives Minnesota the extra momentum needed to tag in Eddie Peak!

A massive pop is heard, as the crazed Eddie Peak is unleashed onto the match, he levels Oxford with a running elbow to the temple, then follows that up with multiple, multiple bionic elbow like strikes on the ground, until Terakado has to pull Peak off of the 47 year old! Peak roars to the crowd, who roar back, and Peak waits for Oxford to get back to his feet - and when he does, Peak spins a bit, for the Discus Clothesline! Oxford's back up - and he gets nailed with another! Oxford's back up, Peak grabs his arm - then pulls him in for a Short Arm Clothesline! Joel Bryant, apparantly not so sure of his team gaining a victory, runs into the ring, trying to intercept Peak - only to get brought up into the air, and driven onto the top turnbuckle with the Snake Eyes! The now dazed Bryant rebounds off the blow, and Peak nails him with the Mad Man Clothesline, taking them both out of the ring! Peak shoots up and screams to the crowd immediately, before re-entering the ring! Peak pulls Oxford up, and puts him into position for the Peak Of Perfection! The fans are on their feet in full, and the cheering gets even louder when they see Joey Minnesota up on the top rope! Minnesota dives off for the Flying Clothesline, and nails it just as Peak drops Oxford with the Peak Of Perfection - the Danger and Violence Destroyer is hit! Peak covers, as Minnesota counts along with the crowd - 1, 2, 3! It's over!

Danger and Violence win, via pinfall, after hitting the DaVD on Robert Oxford, at 12:58, to retain their titles

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

Azaria: They did it! Danger and Violence retain their titles!

Vibert: I had all the confidence in the world that they could pull it off, and I'm glad to see it happen - Minnesota and Peak, repping DAVE big time!

Azaria: Indeed, they are, and they looked quite explosive in this title defense! I don't know if there's a tag team out there that can take them down right now!

Vibert: Tell me something I don't know Jason!

Azaria: Oh, well, since you asked, here's a little fact you may not know..we all know that Eddie Peak was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, right?

Vibert: Yeah..

Azaria: But what you may not know, is that from the age of six to the age of seventeen, he actually lived in Berlin, Germany!

Vibert: ...excuse me?

Azaria: Yes, that's right. It was suprising to me, too - apparantly a flood struck his area when he was a boy, and it destroyed his house. The only family they knew to go to was in Germany, so that's where they headed, and after awhile, they got used to it, and stayed there until he was almost an adult.

Vibert: ..How the hell would I not know that?

Azaria: Well, in fairness, there are a lot of things that we don't know about Eddie Peak. Even I'm in the gray on some of his biography..and you know, Phil, next up we have the Laying Down The Law Challenge, in whi-...what's this?

Backstage Segment

We cut to a room backstage, seemingly empty, the only thing being seen in it a chair - the same kind of one that you would see along with your typical desk.

There doesn't seem to be much reason for the show to cut this room..until we hear an angered grunt, and then see Teddy Powell fly into the screen, going over the chair!

Powell tries to struggle to his feet, but looks VERY hurt at this point - and Sammy Bach comes into the screen, stepping onto the chair, before jumping off of it for a big elbow onto the forehead of Powell!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/TeddyPowell.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/SammyBach.jpg

The All-Action Champion is absolutely furious, raining down punches to the head of Powell! Bach pulls Powell up by his blond hair, and then throws him into the wall! Powell bounces back, and Bach clotheslines him from behind! He continues laying in shots to the back of Powell's head, and finally security come heading in!

..but they don't seem to help matters much at all! He just shoves them away whenever they come too close, and one is unfortunate enough to get in front of Bach, which is something that earns them a headbutt! Bach is actually fighting off the security gaurds, so he can continue beating on Powell! Bach puts a few more shots to Powell, and then proceeds to throw him into a nearby desk, causing it to fall over!

Mercifully, many wrestlers, and a couple road agents swarm in at this point, to help detain Bach, who is angry to a point of insanity at this point!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/ArnoldWestberry.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/ArchieJudge.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/ChanceFortune.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/ClarkAlexander.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/SamuelCannon.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/AaronAndrews.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/BillyJackShearer.jpg

It takes all of them just to restrain Bach, who's screaming at the top of his lungs! One of the officers goes over to the desk, and gets it off of Powell, who is laid out on the floor at this point, his eyes glazed over, with a large gash now on his forehead!

Bach repeatedly shouts "I'll kill you!" to the downed Powell, as we cut back to the arena..

Bach is STILL attacking Powell, and he essentially beats the living hell out of him, until many security gaurds, wrestlers and road agents swarm in to detain him.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_cplus.jpg

Azaria: Good Lord!

Vibert: Jesus Christ, this is getting way out of hand..

Azaria: This feud between Powell and Bach is so very personal, in so many ways..

Vibert: And I can only think it gets worse from here, Jason..

Azaria: I'm afraid I agree, Phil..but anyway, on a lighter note, here comes Rick Law now..

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RickLaw.jpg

In-Ring Segment

Nickelback's "Breath" hits, and out comes Rick Law to a very pleasant response from the Total Faithful. He looks as humble as ever, tipping his hat to them on the stage, before making his way down the ramp. He slides into the ring, simple as always.

Rick Law: Boy, how I love Wyoming..go Squirrels!

Pop of mind-numbing cheapness.

Rick Law: So here we are at The War To Settle The Score..for a Pay-Per-View version, of the Laying Down The Law Challenge! Let's not waste any time - let's bring out the next contestant.

Law lowers the microphone..

..and "Alchohaulin' Ass" by Hellyeah hits, signaling the entrance of Texas Pete, and signaling the jeers from the crowd, as out comes the hard drinkin' Texan, a bottle of Jager in his hand, and both his manager Shane Sneer, and his tag partner, Edd Stone, accompanying him.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/TexasPete.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/EddStone.jpghttp://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/ShaneSneer.jpg

He sees a fan with a cup of beer at ringside, and, despite already holding a bottle, decides to steal it anyway. He takes one sip, then puts on a look of disgust. He throws it over his shoulder, causing it to spill on the rampway, before going back to his bottle. Vibert muses that Pete only steals drinks with cigerette ashes in them, as Pete slides into the ring. He takes a big swig of the Jager bottle, before stepping up to Rick Law. Law doesn't seem to know what to make of the clearly intoxicated Pete, but all the same tips his hat to him, before taking said hat off, and rearing back to throw it into the crowd - but before he does so, Pete sticks the beer into his chest, apparantly offering him a sip.

Law gives Pete an odd look, and politelu declines, telling him he doesn't drink. But Texas Pete is persistant in getting him to take a swig, so Law begrudgingly takes the bottle, and attempts to take a sip..then gets a confused look, and takes the Jager bottle of his mouth. He looks at the bottom of it..then turns it upside down - nothing comes out, thus hinting that Pete handed him an empty bottle. Pete bursts out laughing, pointing at Law and yelling that he just got tricked by a drunk. Law frowns, before throwing the bottle out of the ring. He proceeds to throw his hat out to the crowd, and turn back to Pete with an indignant look. Pete does not look anywhere near as focused..

Rick Law once again comes out for the Laying Down The Law Challenge, which is this time accepted by Texas Pete. Pete pulls a joke on Law, getting him to drink from a bottle, that turned out to be empty, trying to make him look foolish.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_bminus.jpg

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/TexasPete.jpg VS. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/RickLaw.jpg

vs. Rick Law

The bell rings, and Pete's look of intoxication quickly fades, as he takes Law down with a swift haymaker! Pete then mounts Law, and sends down many blatant closed fists, causing Referee Sam Sparrow to swiftly pull Pete off, abmonishing him for this! A quick camera cut shows a smiling Shane Sneer, and Azaria comments that perhaps Pete was simply acting drunk tonight to get Law off his gaurd, as Pete pulls Law up for a big Fallaway Slam, that earns a quick 2 count! Pete pulls Law up, and smashes him against the top turnbuckle cover, once, twice, three, four, five times, before powerfully whipping him into the opposite corner, causing him to crash back downwards out of whiplash! Vibert notes that Law could very well still be feeling the effects on the back from the match with Rahn last Tuesday, as Pete gets another 2 on this move. Pete stays in control for a few minutes, occassionally working the back, stopping every now and then to taunt some fans at ringside. His playing to the crowd costs him at one point though, after he throws Law to the outside, causing him to crash onto the mat! After this, Pete shows some real arrogance and gains quite a bit of heat, as he goes to the opposite ringside, to pull out a cooler, that he apparantly put under the ring for just such an occasion! Pete takes a fresh Jager out this time, and sits on the cooler taking a swig, as Law struggles to his feet, referee Sparrow now at the 7 count! Pete casually re-enters the ring, beer bottle still in hand, as the hurt Law rolls into the ring. Pete meets him with a kick, then turns back around to pose for the crowd, who shout their disdain back at him. But Law fights to his feet, and when Pete turns around, Law goes for the first Long Arm Of The Law attempt of the match! Pete ducks it, but when he turns around, he is met with a harsh Back Elbow from the Total Officer, that sends him down! A quick cover from Law, gets 2.

Rick Law is able to keep on the offensive for a few minutes here, hitting a power move here and there. He seems to be sticking to mainly low impact offense for now, however, because with every big slam, Law hurts himself a little, just by lifting Pete, having to hold his back, gritting his teeth, the back clearly bothering him. The delays may have helped Texas Pete in kicking out of certain, including a particularly devastating Running Oklahoma Slam, that took almost as much out of Law as it did out of the hard partying Texan. Law looks to take Pete out as quick as he can, to keep the injury from coming into play, whipping him to the ropes, then taking him down with a Big Boot! Law then waits for Pete to get to a knee, before hitting the ropes, perhaps looking to hit the Long Arm Of The Law here - but with the referee's attention on Pete, his manager Shane Sneer is behind Law, and puts his arm out, just in time to trip up the former International Champion! Law turns his attention to Sneer with a furious expression, as the fans jeer this tactic viciously. Sneer puts his arms up, as if innocent, and Law turns back to Pete, who's now back on his feet. Law decides to still try for it, hitting the far side ropes this time, but the Long Arm Of The Law attempt this time is countered with a Back Body Drop, sending Law crashing back-first into the mat, and even this rather basic manuever is dehabilitating for Law in this match, as Pete nearly scores the (somewhat upset) victory off of it!

Pete takes control here, and continues working the back, his usual hoss-moves being a big advantage in this contest. At one point, Pete makes some sort of signal to Sneer, who moves closer to the ring apron - Pete proceeds to irish whip Law right where Sneer is - and although the camera angle clearly shows that Law didn't touch Sneer, the veteran managers shoots backwards into the barricade, as if he'd just been hit in the face with a battering ram! Pete takes Law down with a clothesline, as Referee Sam Sparrow goes to check on Sneer. As he does this, Pete swiftly makes his way over to a corner, and undoes the top turnbuckle! Law struggles to his feet, only to be swiftly irish-whipped, back first into the exposed turnbuckle! Law bounces back from the impact, into a Snap Powerslam, hit just seconds after Sparrow turns his attention back to the match! Sparrow goes down to count..1..2..no! Law barely manages to kick out! Pete pounds the mat, as the "injured" Shane Sneer stands up looking shocked the plan didn't work completely! Pete pulls up Law, then kicks him in the stomach, and sets him up for a Powerbomb! Pete points up to the skies, before making a gun gesture, before pulling Law up for the Lone Star Drop - but Law rains down three big haymakers, that take Pete down to the mat!

Law hangs on the ropes for a bit, pulling himself up by them, while Pete struggles up to his feet - and Law goes for the third Long Arm Of The Law attempt, but Pete is able to duck it again - the force of the blow carries Law, and forces him down to one knee - and Pete swiftly counters the attempt with a running kick to the back of Law! Just as it seemed Law had the advantage back, Pete takes it right back away from him - and he wastes no time in signaling to Sneer again, and the manager is quick to jump up on the apron! Referee Sam Sparrow bites immediately, going over to admonish Sneer, and make sure he doesn't enter the ring. Pete, knowing he doesn't have much time, sneaks past Sparrow, and picks up the still mostly full beer bottle he dropped earlier in the match! Sneer sees Pete's plan, and suddenly grabs the referee, covering his ears! As Law gets up, Pete takes a big swig of the bottle, before going to smash it over Law's head - but Law catches it! Law takes it away, and takes a sip of his own, before smashing it over Pete's head, causing it to shatter, drenching Pete in it! Luckilly for Law, most of the broken peices fly out to ringside! Sneer looks on with horror, releasing Sparrow in doing so - and the always indignant former head official forcefully shoves Sneer off of the apron, to a big pop! Sparrow turns around in time to see Law pulling Pete to his feet - and finally hitting the Long Arm Of The Law! Rick Law covers - 1, 2, 3! He gets it!

Rick Law wins, via pinfall, after hitting the Long Arm Of The Law, at 10:49

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_b.jpg

Azaria: And Rick Law gets it! Law puts Texas Pete away!

Vibert: And damn, that may have been the toughest match of this challenge yet!

Azaria: Yeah, well, I'm glad he overcame it this week! Texas Pete cheated at just about every damned turn!

Vibert: Sure he did, he's got Shane Sneer at ringside! Anyone that tags along with him is more then likely to break the rules every now and then!

Azaria: Maybe so, but still! I mean, he pulled out just about every trick in the book!

Vibert: And we've got another guy who knows every trick in the book wrestling up next..

Azaria: Oh God, do we ever..ladies and gentlemen, get ready for this one - the clash of two Total Icons, and indeed, two wrestling legends - Ricky Dale Johnson vs. Sam Keith!

Vibert: The series is 1-1 between them - here it is, Total Wrestling fans, the ultimate rubber match!

Azaria: It's very fitting this match is occuring at this event - because Ricky Dale Johnson and Sam Keith will indeed be settling the score, and they- ..and they will be doing it right now!

Sam Keith vs. Ricky Dale Johnson

Jason Azaria's hyping of the match is cut off by Eminem's "Till I Collapse", signaling the entrance of The Syndicate's Co-Leader, the legendary Sam Keith. The fans give a harshly heated response, as he makes his way out of the crippler position, his usual angered scowl now replaced with a villianous grin. He gives a peice of his mind to the fans at ringside as he makes his way down the ramp, shooting a couple forearm jerks to them, letting them know what he thinks of them, not endearing himself to the fans one bit. He goes up to the apron, and wipes his feet on it, before entering the ring. He stares confidently at the stage, awaiting his opponent..and the crowd erupts, when "Livin' On Borrowed Time" by Puddle Of Mudd hits, and out comes "Southern Justice" himself, Ricky Dale Johnson! The former TCW World Heavyweight Champion is absolutely beloved by the Total Faithful, but aside from slapping a few hands at ringside, he doesn't play to them much, not taking his eyes off of Sam Keith for a second. He stares at him with steely-eyed determination. He's quick to get up to the apron, but he's slow to enter, not trusting Keith to fight fair. Keith, to his credit, doesn't make a move, he lets RDJ in without trouble. Once he's in, however, Keith gets right in RDJ's face - and does the forearm jerk gesture directly to him as well. Ricky Dale looks pissed at this, but he doesn't make a move either..

..as soon as the bell rings, Sam Keith shoots in for a Double Leg Takedown, but Ricky Dale is quick to hit a few clubbing blows, keeping Keith from getting the trip. He is able to push Keith away, then lands a few strikes, but when he goes for an Irish Whip, Keith reverses it. Keith goes down for a Back Body Drop, but RDJ counters with a kick! Once Keith's torso snaps up, RDJ tries to end things quick with a Southern Justice attempt - but Sam Keith is able to get away from that with a couple of elbows, before whipping behind RDJ, going for the Neutron Plex! RDJ is far too fresh for it however, and is able to twist out of it in mid-air! RDJ lands behind Keith, and tries to take him down with a Reverse DDT Neckbreaker - but Keith is able to fight out of that. Keith kicks RDJ in the stomach, and goes for a Snap DDT, but RDJ shoves him away, and proceeds to attempt his signature Headhunter Lariat, but Keith ducks it. Keith turns to meet RDJ, and they both put on a fighting pose, stopping short of an attack, executing the "stalemate" spot. The fans respectfully clap the spot, as they have been honed to. The match is dead even to start, and continues that way for quite a while, neither Total Icon getting an edge over the other.

This feeling out process continues until around the 3:30 mark, when they both find themselves on the top rope, with Ricky Dale Johnson going for a Superplex! Sam Keith is fighting it desperately, getting back onto the top rope once, back on the top rope twice - and Keith pulls RDJ up instead! Sam Keith stands up on the top rope, elevating RDJ high up in suplex position - before jumping forward, and pulling RDJ backward, for a massive neckbreaker off of the top rope! The ring shakes on impact, and the crowd reaction is mixed - some jeering, some popping the big move, some letting out "oooh"'s at RDJ's misfortune! Sam Keith looks confident in getting a quick victory after that move, covering Ricky Dale, rather arrogantly not hooking the leg - and Johnson just kicks out! Keith looks shocked that the highlight reel worthy counter doesn't put Ricky Dale away, and he swiftly re-covers, hooking both legs this time - but RDJ kicks out again! All the same, the control is definately in the hands of Sam Keith, who decides now is a good time to work the legs, hitting a few elbow drops to both legs of Ricky Dale, before locking him into an American Figure Four leglock!

At first the fans aren't too concerned about the move, but after a while of flailing about and screaming, they slowly but surely buy into the trouble RDJ's in, and they clap him on as he tries to make it to the ropes..he shoots forward, and grabs the bottom rope! But the vile Sam Keith keeps the lock on for the entirety of the five count, breaking it just shy of a DQ! Keith continues his domination of RDJ for a couple minutes after this - on more then one occassion, going to the legs to cut off attempted comebacks. But finally, RDJ is able to fight back, after Back Body Dropping out of a Jumping Piledriver attempt! As soon as Keith is up, he nearly gets decapitated by RDJ's Headhunter Jumping Lariat! Ricky Dale covers, but Keith kicks out just after the 2. All the same, the momentum definately swerves into Ricky Dale Johnson's favor, and he keeps it for a good few minutes. He takes a huge risk by again placing Keith on top of the corner, and as RDJ climbs up, slowly, clearly feeling the effects of Keith's attack on his legs, Jason Azaria states that it's a bad idea, it ended badly for him just a few minutes ago - but this time it pays off, RDJ hits a huge Superplex right off the top!

RDJ slowly crawls over to cover Keith, but he shows his toughness in just barely kicking out! RDJ pulls Keith up, then sends him crashing to the mat with a Uranage Slam! Ricky Dale covers - but the legendary Keith kicks out at the very last second! Ricky Dale Johnson starts to gain a look of frustration, as he's just hit him with two of the biggest moves in his arsenal. But RDJ pulls Keith up again anyway, staying persistant - and he goes for the Southern Justice - but Keith gets away, thanks to a rake of the eyes! He gains some heat in doing so, playing to the crowd for a moment, before kicking RDJ in the stomach, and whipping him to the ropes. Keith goes for a clothesline, but RDJ gets out of the way in time! Keith collides with the corner, and when he turns around to rest in it, RDJ is quick to get up to the second rope! Johnson looks out to the crowd for a moment, before starting the Corner 10 Punches! The crowd counts along, "1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9!" and RDJ raises his arms up to the fans before the 10th - but at that moment, Keith is able to take a few steps forward, then drop RDJ face-first into the top rope! RDJ bounces off the corner from the impact - right into the Neutron Plex! Keith is still a bit too dazed to go for the Proton Lock, so he instead crawls over RDJ for the pin..1...2..

..no, Ricky Dale kicks out! Keith can't beleive it! He covers again, with the same result! Enraged, Sam Keith pulls Ricky Dale up, then throws him to the corner. You can hear him shout "I'll show you how it's done", before stepping up to the second ropes himself! Sam Keith starts raining down punches, but unsurprisingly the fans don't count along! After the ninth punch, Keith just stares at the crowd for a moment, before doing yet another forearm jerk gesture to them, getting quite a bit of jeering while doing so! Keith rears back for the final blow..but RDJ struggles a bit under him, before walking out of the corner, in Powerbomb Position! RDJ dashes towards the opposite corner, and scores big time, with a Running Powerbomb! RDJ bridges - 1, 2..no! A look of frustration is definately starting to form on the face of Ricky Dale Johnson, Sam Keith kicks out again! RDJ picks Keith back up, and goes for the third Southern Justice attempt of the night - but Keith suddenly counters with a Northern Lights Suplex! Keith bridges - 1, 2..no! RDJ kicks out this time, and now Sam Keith's the one with a look of frustration!

Desperation starting to build for Sam Keith, he decides to try to cheat RDJ out of the match - he pulls him to his feet, and then blatantly whips him towards International Exchange Referee Yasuyuki Terakado! RDJ, not wanting to harm the official, is able to stop just short, grabbing onto his shoulders to stop himself. But as Ricky Dale makes sure he's okay, Keith attacks him from behind, bumping him into the referee! In the split second that this causes Terakado to take his eye off the match, Keith goes downstairs, looking for a low blow - but Ricky Dale is able to catch the arm between his legs! Ricky Dale slowly steps over Keith's arm, and pulls Keith up from the ground - before leveling him with a Short Arm Clothesline! Ricky Dale covers - but Keith is able to kick yet again! Desperation now forms on the face of Ricky Dale Johnson, and he decides to go up to the top rope! He waits for Keith to stand, then comes off the top with a Flying Double Axe Handle - but Keith stops those plans with a Knife Edge Chop, in mid-air!

Ricky Dale tumbles to the ground off the Knife Edge Chop, and Keith stomps on his legs for a bit, before putting him into the Proton Lock! Ricky Dale Johnson immediately starts screaming in pain, his legs having been worked on mercilessly throughout the match! After a full minute, Ricky extends his hand, looking ready to submit..but he fights the temptation, and crawls forward! He stretches his arm out as far as it can go, getting within a fingertip of the ropes - but Sam Keith breaks the Reverse Necklock part of the move, to step away from the ropes, pulling RDJ back to the center of the ring! Keith then bridges backwards once again, re-locking the full version of the Proton Lock in! Things look hopeless, until Ricky Dale starts twirling his arm a bit, trying to rally the fans in support! They swiftly begin clapping and cheering for Ricky Dale, pleading him to continue fighting on, and Ricky Dale summons enough strength to push off the mat, and end up on top of Keith! Terakado goes down for the pin, 1,2 - Keith breaks the hold, and throws RDJ off of him! Keith shouts at the referee for counting that as a pin, before pulling Ricky Dale up - but RDJ catches him, attempting the Southern Justice for the fourth time in the match - and for the fourth time in the match, Sam Keith counters it, this time with a Sambo Suplex! Sam Keith pulls Ricky Dale up, then whips him to the corner - but RDJ counters, and whips him into it instead! As Sam Keith rebounds off of the impact, Ricky Dale Johnson makes his way to the apron, and then to the top rope! Keith staggers to his feet, then turns to see Ricky Dale Johnson fly off the top again, this time hitting the Double Axe Handle - and before Keith can even fall, Ricky Dale sets him up, and then nails him with the Southern Justice! The Southern Justice hits, on it's fifth attempt - Ricky Dale immediately covers, and gets the win!

Ricky Dale Johnson wins, via pinfall, after hitting the Southern Justice, at 17:16

Azaria: Dear Lord, what a match!

Vibert: Ricky Dale Johnson and Sam Keith just put on a clinic in there!

Azaria: Indeed they did, and Phil, RDJ said he wanted to see the real side of Sam Keith in this match - I think he saw both the old and the new in this match!

Vibert: Yeah - he had the ego and the attitude of today's Sam Keith, but the fire and will of yesteryear's Sam Keith! Which one do you think is the real one, Jason?

Azaria: I said it earlier, and I'll say it again, Phil - I just plain don't know anymore, but I definately know a great match when I see one - kudos to both men for their performances, and kudos to Ricky Dale Johnson, for settling the score! And up next, we have another score to settle - our TCW International Championship match, that will see Wolf Hawkins defend his title against Brent Hill!

Vibert: I can't wait for that, but before we get to it, we will now take you to the gorgeous Jasmine Saunders! Jasmine?

Backstage Segment

Cut to the back once more, to see Jasmine Saunders, ever cheery, holding the microphone.

Jasmine Saunders: Thank you, Phil! Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time, I'd like to introduce to you, the man they call "The Golden Boy", the man they call "The Chosen One", the protege` of Tommy Cornell, and the current TCW International Champion..Wolf Hawkins! Wolf?

The screen pans out to show Wolf Hawkins, and an audibly loud jeering is heard. He has the TCW International Title over his shoulder, but what he doesn't have is his usual confident grin.

Saunders: So Wolf, two weeks ago, Brent Hill made a stunning comeback, attacking you after a match with Antonio Marquez, and announcing his campaign towards your International Championship..we have heard what Tommy Cornell thinks about the situation, but we have yet to get your take. What is your response to Hill targeting you?

Saunders puts the mic to Wolf's mouth, and he takes a deep breath. He is quite clearly not happy.

Wolf Hawkins: ...it has not been a good thirteen days for The Syndicate. First, Brent Hill comes back and hits me with a completely unprovoked chair shot! Then the next week, that little bastard gives my mentor, and your TCW World Heavyweight Champion, Tommy Cornell, a black eye! And later in that night, Tyson Baine hit the Hades Bomb on Tommy, and pinned him, just days before their match coming up in about a half hour! And then Sam Keith just went out there and worked his ass off, only to lose to Ricky Dale Johnson. So no, this has not been a good two weeks for The Syndicate, but I promise you, the night will end on a very high note. I'm about to go out there and beat Brent Hill like he's never been beaten before. I promise to show you a new side of Wolf Hawkins tonight. A darker side. A meaner side. I'm going to be more vicious then I've ever been, more vicious than he can handle! By the end of the night, Brent Hill will once again be tasting his own blood, and then, after I successfully retain my International Title against him, Tommy Cornell will do the same against Tyson Baine. The Syndicate will end this night on a good note. Me and Tommy will still be holding the two biggest belts in this company - and The Syndicate will continue to reign supreme. That..is a garauntee.

Saunders: Well that's all well and good, Wolf, but that doesn't really answer my ques-

Hawkins: -my answer to your question, is that Brent Hill is targeting me, because he thinks I'm an easier opponent than Tommy Cornell. He said that it was because Cornell was already booked tonight, but I know the real reason. The real reason is because he made the horrendously grave mistake of underestimating Wolf Hawkins. So instead of challenging Tommy, he challenged me. That was a mistake. Because I may not be quite on Tommy's level yet, but that doesn't mean I'm not dangerous. I am the TCW International Champion - I have been the TCW International Champion for seven months now, and there is a reason for that. There's a reason I have had so much success, so damn early in my career. And that reason is because I am Wolf Hawkins - the man who is too damned good..to pay dues. The man who defies age. The man who dispells the notion of a worker being too "green" to suceed. I seem arrogant at times, I seem like I think I'm greatness at times - and I seem that way, because it's quite simply true. I am the man that Tommy Cornell will one day pass the torch to. Until that time comes, I shall be raising the already lofty prestige of this...TCW International Championship. I will continue to do it after I end Brent Hill's up and down - mostly down - career, tonight, and I will continue to do it until that day comes, when Tommy Cornell is ready to hand me the ball, and let me run with it.

..And as for this.."Revenge Tour '08" move, Brent wants to debut tonight..be my guest, Brent. Be my guest. Go ahead and hit me with it, go ahead, and watch in awe, as I kick out from it. As I get up from it. As I hit you with the devastating New Moon Rising, and as I retain my International Title again. Just you watch. See you out there..#2.

Hawkins scoffs at the camera at that, putting on a scowl that would make Cornell proud, before turning and walking away, as the screen fades..

Wolf Hawkins cut a promo on Brent Hill. Hawkins lets us know that we will see a darker side of him tonight. He states that Brent challenged him instead of Tommy out of fear, underestimating Hawkins, and beleiving that Hawkins is the easier opponent. He lets Hill know that that is a grave mistake to make.

TCW International Championship

vs.

"Faint" by Linkin Park hits, to a tremendous ovation, as out comes Brent Hill! His arm is raised in a fist, looking defiant, and somewhat rebelous. The fans are definately behind him right now, they have been on his side 100% since he was betrayed by The Syndicate. He high fives a few fans at ringside, beating his chest a bit as he walks down the ramp. He slides into the ring, and runs up to to the turnbuckle. He bangs on the top rope, before shooting up the devil horns to the crowd. The huge cheers turn to harsh jeers when the Gorillaz' "Clint Eastwood" hits, and out comes Wolf Hawkins, the TCW International Championship draped over his shoulder. As he displayed moments ago, he does not have his usual swagger to him. Instead he is glaring directly at the challenger as he walks down the ramp. He even foregoes his usual ring entrance of the Youth Gone Wild pose. Instead he simply enters the ring, and steps right up to Brent Hill. The two go eye-to-eye, staring each other down, as Referee Sam Sparrow takes the title away from Hawkins and goes to place it on the announce table..

The bell rings, and at first there isn't any movement. The staredown simply continues..until Hill meets Hawkins with a knee lift to the stomach! He then hits multiple ones, the last one sending Hawkins across the ring off the impact! Hill grabs young Hawkins by the hair, and pulls him to his feet, before nailing him with a swift Snap Suplex! Hill continues beating on Hawkins at first, whipping him into the corner, then catching him off the rebound with a Half Nelson Facebuster! The first pin attempt of the match comes after a full minute of domination by Hill, when he nails Hawkins with a Running STO, for a 2 count! Hill keeps the advantage, until he whips Hawkins to the ropes, and tries for a Flapjack - Hill was just a bit too close to the ropes, and Hawkins was able to grab onto them. Hawkins proceeded to push off of the ropes, and nail Hill with a hurricarana! Hawkins bridges, but Hill kicks out just before the 2! Hill swiftly scrambles to his feet, but Hawkins meets him with a jumping headbutt to the stomach! Hill doubles over, and Hawkins hits the ropes, for a Flipping Seated Neckbreaker! Hawkins covers Hill - but the challenger is just able to kick out!

From here, Wolf takes control, and shows a little of the aggression that he promised, hitting several stiff Puro-like kicks to the back, and back of the head of Brent Hill! Azaria notes that Tommy Cornell has great Puro skills, and that it seems his protege` has been given a few pointers. Vibert ponders as to how exactly someone who's wrestled exactly one match in Japan is a master of the Puro style, (Seriously, what's up with that?) as Hawkins pulls Hill up to his feet. After talking a bit of trash, Hawkins forcefully throws Hill over the top rope, sending him crashing to the floor! IE Referee Terakado starts the count, but before he can even get to one, Hawkins has jumped over the top rope, landing on his feet on the floor, and just as Hill (very quickly) gets to one knee, he is met with one of Hawkins', right in the face! Hawkins continues sending snap kicks to the back of Hill, before re-entering, and re-leaving the ring to break the count. (Even though it was only at three) Hawkins pulls Hill up, and whips him into the barricade! He sends a few punches to Hill's face, yelling "You picked the wrong guy!". Hawkins takes a good few steps backwards, before dashing at Hill - and going for the New Moon Rising! But Hill rolls away, and Hawkins goes right into the stands!

He went into a blocked-off area, so he didn't hit any fans, but that doesn't lower the pop from them! Seeing the count now at 8, Hill slides into the ring, before re-leaving it. He jumps the barricade, and meets the downed Hawkins with a Field Goal kick to the stomach, that lifts young Hawkins into the air! Hill pulls Hawkins to his feet, and picks him up, before dropping him on the gaurd rail - and then throwing him into the fans side of the stands! The pop is massive, as the TCW International Champion is now among the fans, struggling to his feet! Hill sends a sharp running kick to the face of Hawkins, sending him back to his back in the crowd! Hill again sees the count at 7, and dashes back into the ring, only to roll out of it a second time! During the distraction, Hawkins is able to get back to the protected area, and to his knees, as Hill jumps over the barricade again. He moves over to Hawkins - only to receive a low blow! Thanks to the barricade, Terekado, still in the ring, doesn't see it! But he does see Hawkins pull Hill to his feet, and shove him against the barricade - before choking him with some sort of TV cable! But despite seeing this, Terakado does not call for the DQ! Azaria shouts that Hawkins is trying to get himself disqaulified, as Vibert mentions that, once again, the leniancy of the Japanese Referees is coming into play in a TCW match!

After a bit of choking, Hawkins releases Hill, then throws him back to ringside! Seeing that he still has a few seconds, Hawkins takes a moment to slam Hill's head into the steps for good measure, before throwing him back into the ring, just breaking the count at 9! Hawkins covers the now badly hurt Hill - but he just kicks out! Hawkins can't beleive it, he kicked out after being choked with a cable! All the same, Hawkins definately has the control, pulling Hill up, and sending him back down with a Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Hill kicks out at 2 again! Hill is showing a lot of strength, but he doesn't seem to be able to get back on the offense - a little past the 10:00 mark, Hawkins dominates for a while, but can't seem to put Hill away! At one point, Hawkins whips Hill into the corner, and dashes towards it, apparantly looking for a Running Dropkick - but Hill gets away from the corner, and Hawkins ends up crotching himself into the ringpost! The fans pop for the comedy-like spot, but Hill continues to be completely serious, grabbing Hawkins by the arm, and throwing him out of the corner, nailing him with a Splash Mountain! Hill covers, but this time Hawkins is able to kick out!

Hill continues to retain the momentum for a few minutes here. At one point, Hawkins counters a Back Body Drop attempt with a kick, before attempting a New Moon Rising, only to be sent facefirst into the mat with a Flapjack! Hill pins, but Hawkins is able to kick out of this as well! Hawkins again tries to take the momentum back, when he counters a Suplex attempt with a Kneeling Jaw Breaker! But when he tries to follow up with this by going up to the top rope, Hill shows his athleticism by jumping up to the second rope! Hill grabs Hawkins up from here - and nails him with an Oklahoma Slam off of the top rope! The fans pop, and Azaria is convinced the match is over, but once again Hawkins kicks out! Many more moves are attempted from here, a Rolling Firemen's Carry Slam, a Seated Neckbreaker, even an Exploder Suplex, but none seem to be able to put Hawkins away! It's at this point that Hill decides to go for something extra, going up to the top rope!

He jumped off for his signature King Of The Hill Flying Legdrop - and he nails it! The fans pop massively, as Hill has ended some matches with this, but at the very last possible second, Hawkins kicks out! Hill puts on a look of shock for a moment, but wipes it off as quickly as he can! He pulls Hawkins up to his feet, then kicks him in the stomach. Hill looks to be attempting to hit his new move here, getting a Double Underhook on Hawkins. But whatever it is, it'll have to wait, because Hawkins is counters it with a Back Body Drop! Hill struggles to his feet as Hawkins hits the ropes - and then hits the New Moon Rising! The Running Enziguri, he nails it! The crowd lets out a moan, as Hill and Hawkins both slump down to the mat! There's a bit of delay, but not enough to give the fans much hope, as Hawkins drapes the arm over Hill as quickly as he can..1..2...Hill gets the shoulder up! Hill gets the shoulder up!

Hawkins is bewildered, and so are the fans and announcers! Hawkins covers again, hooking the leg, but Hill is able to kick out again! Hawkins pounds the mat, frustrated, and rightfully so! Hawkins slowly pulls Hill up - but gets caught with a quick European Uppercut! Hawkins goes down, but Hill gets him back up quick, and kicks him in the stomach a second time! He goes for the same move he was trying earlier, but Hawkins stops it again, this time by getting down to one knee! When Hill tries to pull Hawkins up, the International Champion counters with an Inside Cradle, that Brent Hill just barely keeps from being pinned by! Hawkins shoots up to argue with referee Terakado, clearly thinking that got the three! While he's doing so, Hill turns Hawkins around, and whallops him with a huge punch! Standing woozily, Hawkins returns the favor - and the two go back and forth, for the second "Boo!/Yah!" spot of the night! Hill eventually gets the advantage, but when he goes for an Irish Whip, Hawkins counters! Hawkins dashes at Hill after he rebounds off the ropes, going for a second New Moon Rising attempt - but Hill catches the leg, then plants him right onto his head with a Capture Suplex! Hill looks out to the fans with a near-crazed look in his eyes, and rallies for some support, feeding off of the crowd's tremendous energy! Hawkins slowly pulls himself up with the ropes, as Hill starts screaming for him to get up! Hawkins slowly stumbles into Hill - and Hill kicks him in the stomach once again! Hill gets Hawkins arms up - then falls to the mat, smashing Hawkins face-first into it, with a Double Underhook Facebuster! The crowd pops and "oooooh's" at this devastating move, as Hawkins head bounces off the mat! Hill hooks the leg!

One...

Two...

..Three!! Hill gets it! Hill gets it! New Champion!

Brent Hill wins, via pinfall, after hitting the Revenge Tour '08 (Pedigree), at 19:31

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_a.jpg

Azaria: Oh my God! Oh my God!! New champion, new champion!!

Vibert: And the bad string of weeks for The Syndicate gets even worse! Brent Hill just unseated Wolf Hawkins! Brent Hill just won the International Championship!

Azaria: I can't beleive this! He really did it..and I have to think that that Facebuster was the new move that was rumoured - the Revenge Tour '08 he's been talking about all week!

Vibert: It certainly seems deadly enough, and as we just saw, it's most assuredly effective enough!

Azaria: Listen to this great, Brent Hill is getting a standing ovation!

Vibert: I hope they give Wolf Hawkins one once he gets up too, both these two men deserve it!

Azaria: I have to agree, Phil! What a damned match! And what a deserving champion, is Brent Hill!

Vibert: Agreed, wholeheartedly! Maybe this will change Tommy Cornell's views of Hill's career status..and on that note, let's take you, one last time tonight, to the lovely Jasmine Saunders!

Backstage Segment

Cut to the back to see Jasmine Saunders for her last interview of the night, just as cheery as usual.

Jasmine Saunders: Thank you, Phil! And Ladies and Gentlemen at this time, I would like to introduce to you, the current T-

Off-screen, a hand comes up holding a card. Saunders sighs and rolls her eyes at this.

Saunders: Ugh..again? ..Fine.

Saunders takes the card, and reads off of it.

Saunders: ..I would like to introduce to you, the single greatest wrestler in the world today..the man who holds the record for both number of TCW World Heavyweight Title reigns, and also the record for longest running TCW World Heavyweight Title reign..the man who has defeated more Hall of Immortals members then any other single competitor..the man who won a World Title at a younger age then anyone else, in nearly 40 years, and of course, the man who, unlike any other, is absolutely gratiutously well-endo..-

Saunders stops, and looks a bit annoyed, as she turns back to the person who handed her the card.

Saunderrs: Dude, seriously, again with this?! This is the third show in a row you've had me say crap like this! Do you have some sort of complex or someth-

She's interupted by the person who handed her the card, still off-screen.

???: Just get it on with it!

Saunders sighs.

Saunders: Ladies and Gentlemen..Tommy Cornell.

The screen pans to show that the "mystery" man is (predictably) Tommy Cornell. He still has something of a mark on his right eye, from the shiner he received from Hill last Tuesday. Safe to say, that despite the TCW World Heavyweight Title around his waist, he is definately not happy, and the fans jeering in the background likely doesn't help matters.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/TommyCornell-1.jpg

Tommy Cornell: Listen, bimbo, you really shouldn't mess with me right now, I'm having a very bad day so far. Sam Keith and Wolf Hawkins both just lost, two in a damned row.

Saunders: Indeed they did, it seems Brent Hill is better then you thoug-

Cornell gets in closer to Jasmine, looking incensed, seemingly ready to strike.

Cornell: I said watch it, you little tramp! I'm not in the mood to take crap from anybody right now, what in God's name makes you think I'd take it from you?! You know what, just give me the damned microphone! Give the mic!

Saunders looks quite scared, and timidly hands him the mic. Cornell gestures for her to leave, and she's quick to do so. Cornell slowly turns back to face the camera.

Cornell: That little tramp may be the next one I get The Board to fire..now, just in case that bimbo did not make this clear, and that's very likely..I am Tommy Cornell. I am the TCW World Heavyweight Champion. And tonight I shall be facing the.."demonic"..Tyson Baine. You know, Baine likes to go around acting like he's some sort of monster, he's some sort of spawn from hell. He names all of his signature moves after hell. He acts like he knows the devil himself. Everyone acts like he's the scariest man on this roster, everyone acts like he's just so damned intimidating..well you know what? Tonight..I feel bad for him. That's right, I said it - I feel bad for Tyson Baine! Not just because he's quite clearly insane - and he is..no, I feel bad for him because he's catching me on a terrible day. The Syndicate has had a pretty bad fall for tonight..and as everyone has so amusedly pointed out..I still have a black eye right now. Needless to say..I'm looking to blow off a little steam, and unfortunately, your massive frame is the only damned thing standing in my way at the moment. So, the earlier victories of Ricky Dale Johnson and Brent Hill shall be paid for..in your blood tonight! I'll see to it that that comes true, I know it will - because as I have put to light in recent months, I have quite the pull with the Total Board..and guess what? Just before the show tonight..I made a little change to our match..and it is now a No Disqaulifications match!

As Cornell pauses, his arrogant grin returning to his face, albeit currently mixed with a little menace as well, you can hear the fans pop for this announcement in the background.

Azaria: What?!

Cornell: That's right. No Disqaulifications..that means there is going to be NOTHING that I can't do you tonight, Tyson! That's why I feel badly for you! I'm going to take out every last bit of my frustrations on you, and after I do, you'll be lucky if you're able to walk away from that damned ring!

With that, Cornell abruptly throws the microphone over his shoulder, letting it hit the ground with a big thud, before walking off-screen. The camera cuts to the arena for the final time tonight..

Tommy Cornell cut a promo backstage. He lets Baine know that he feels bad for him, because he's getting him on such a bad day. He also announces that the main event shall be a No DQ match, and that Baine will not only bleed tonight, but will also be lucky to walk away from the contest.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j213/Zeel1/grade_bplus.jpg

Azaria: No DQ?! Has he lost his mind?!

Vibert: He may have! Who in their right mind would voluntarily put themselves into a match with Tyson Baine, in which there are no rules?!

Azaria: Baine absolutely adores those kind of matches! I tell you what, I almost feel bad for Cornell, he could be decimated in this match!

Vibert: He'll be put through a good bit of hell, for sure, Jason! I'm certainly counting Tommy out, I'm not assuming he'll lose - but I do think he'll end up regretting adding that particular stipulation!

Azaria: Agreed, 100% - it's not that Tommy can't beat him, he's proven he can, but why would you give Tyson Baine a chance like this?!

Vibert: I can't tell you, Jason, but I'll tell you this - this could very well be the most heavily called for rematch in TCW, since Rip Chord & Sam Strong! Fans have been lighting up the message boards, the TCW mailboxes, the TCW hotline - everything! It seems just about every Total Wrestling fan has wanted Tyson Baine to get his second title shot, ever since Malice In Wonderland (R.I.P) in which he almost made history - in which he almost kicked out of the Rough Ride!

Azaria: No one has ever kicked out of that move, but Tyson Baine came closer to it, then even Sam Strong himself ever did! He has another chance to make history tonight - can Baine do it? He is a former TCW World Heavyweight Champion, but it's been a decade since he's held the gold! A decade since he's held any title! Can he do it again, tonight? Can he pin Tommy Cornell for the third time of this year?

Vibert: He's the only one who's done it so far this year, Jason! Can he do it again? We won't have to wait long to find out! Here we go!

Tyson Baine vs.

The lights go black, to a massive ovation from the fans. Flames erupt on the stage, this time in an "X"-like formation. More flames erupt from the sides of the rampway, going from the top all the way to the bottom, creating a hellish road to the ring. The ovation gets even louder as "Hold Out Your Hand" by Nickelback blares, and out stomps Tyson Baine, out from between the fire, his orange eyes peering out from under a black hood. He ignores the fire and the screaming fans, as he treads down the fiery rampway. He steps up to the apron, and steps over the ropes to enter the ring. He rips the hood off, and proceeds to roar to the crowd - and while doing so, yet more fire erupts from the turnbuckles! After a few seconds, the fire fades away, and Baine shoots his glare towards the stage, awaiting the champion. As soon as Baine's music fades, the tremendous ovation transitions into a venomous cheer, they definately know who's entrance is next. The lights fade into the trademark dark blue, and Metallica's cover of the classic "Turn The Page" hits. The jeering gets even louder, as out comes Tommy Cornell, the TCW World Heavyweight Title draped over his arm. He walks down the ramp with signicantly less fanfare. Once he gets to the ring, he throws his title belt into it, then follows it in. International Exchange Referee Sadanobu Koruba holds the belt up, to showcase it to the fans, as is traditional for a title match..

..but Tommy Cornell is quick to swipe it out of the hands of the referee, and as the bell rings, he attempts to smash it over the head of Tyson Baine! But Baine sees it coming, as Azaria notes that their last one-on-one match began the same way, and is able to catch Cornell's wrist! Baine pulls the title away from Cornell, and goes for a shot with it as well, but Tommy is able to duck the shot, then strike from behind! He puts the boots down to Baine, before pulling him by the hair, and attempting to whip him out of the ring, but Baine is able to land on his feet on the apron. Cornell hits the ropes, and dashes at Baine, only to be caught with a Big Boot from the apron, the force and positioning of which actually forces Cornell to slide through the bottom and middle ropes! Cornell stands in a daze on the outside, before turning to see the demonic Baine come off the apron with a Flying Clothesline that nearly takes Cornell's head off! Baine shoots up to his feet, and roars to the crowd, who roar their love back to him! Baine throws Cornell into the steel steps, before deciding to take a look under the ring..and as Cornell stumbles forward, he sees Tyson Baine pull out a table!

The fans pop huge as Baine sets the table up at ringside, but while he's doing so, he doesn't see Tommy Cornell look under the ring as well! Once Baine's finished setting up shop, he turns to see Tommy - and walks right into a Singapore Cane shot to the head..but it has little effect! Baine looks shaken for a moment, but quickly steps right up to Cornell to a huge pop! Cornell, near frightened by this, starts frantically hitting Baine with shot after shot, to the head and torso! Eventually, the effectiveness of the blows raise, and Baine starts back up off impact! One last running shot sends Baine onto the table, breaking the cane while doing so! Cornell sets Baine up on the table in a more horizontal fashion, before heading up to the top rope! Cornell plays to the crowd for a bit..but while he does so, Baine rolls to his back..and then shoots up to his knees! The fans pop this signature move, and Baine stands up on the table! Cornell looks shocked, but proceeds to come off the top anyway, going for his signature Three Inch Shrink - but Baine catches him by the throat in mid-air!

Baine roars at Tommy, before chokeslamming him off the table, the extra height adding to the force of the blow! Baine goes down with Cornell, and proceeds to again shoot up to his knees! Baine gets to his feet, then drags the near lifeless Cornell into the ring! He goes for the cover, but the TCW World Heavyweight Champion is able to kick out, just after the 2! Baine pulls Cornell up, and tries to ram him into the top turnbuckle, but Cornell counters, ramming him instead - and adding another 10 or so rams, to make sure it takes effect! Tommy proceeds to untie the top turnbuckle pad, and throw it away. Cornell whips Baine to the opposite corner, before clotheslining him into it, and attempting to whip him into the exposed steel! But Baine counters, and powerfully whips him into the steel, Cornell going headfirst into it! "Rough Justice" bounces off of the impact, right into a High Angle Back Suplex, for another nearfall! Baine continues to dominate for a few minutes, until he whips Cornell out to the apron. He dashes at Tommy, only to get caught with a Hot Shot. Baine now woozy, Cornell goes up to the top rope again, and he goes off it with a big Three Inch Shrink! Baine goes down with a stinging chest, (And a compressed spine, apparantly) and Cornell covers, but Baine is able to power out!

Cornell tries to Baine grounded with stomps, but despite the striking, Baine is still able to his feet, throwing Cornell across the ring by the throat on more then one occassion! Cornell is persistant enough to keep on on the offensive, but after Baine gets up for the third, again seeming to ignore the blows, Cornell decides to go to the ringside once more, this time bringing out a Steel Chair! But when he gets up to the apron, Baine rushes the ropes, and Cornell gets away just at the last second! He and Baine peer at each other through the ropes for a bit, Cornell gesturing for Baine to come and get him, and the demonic Baine is quick to comply, climbing out to the outside! Cornell swiftly goes for a chair shot, but Baine ducks it! Baine turns to attack Cornell, but is met with a surprise dropkick, that takes Baine all the way into the barricade! Baine begins to run towards Cornell, but Tommy gets a running start of his own - before ramming the Steel Chair right into the forehead of Tyson Baine! A sly grin comes across Cornell's face, and he plays to the jeering crowd, as a close up on Baine shows that he now has a gash on his forehead - the blood is flowly freely down the face of the challenger!

This time, Baine doesn't get up to his knees, Cornell has to drag him up to his feet! The Champion slams Baine's head onto the Steel Steps, before throwing the bloody No.1 Contender into the ring! Cornell looks ready to cover, but decides that perhaps a little more damage is neccessary - Tommy brings him up to his feet, then drops him back onto the canvas with a Reverse DDT! Cornell covers Baine, but Baine shows his monster-like power in kicking out! Cornell looks a bit frustrated at this, pulling Baine up by the hair, and dragging him over to the corner - Cornell slams Baine's head right into the exposed steel, once, twice, three times! Baine goes down, and Cornell covers again - but Baine is again able to kick out, just after the two! The frustration grows on Cornell's face, and he slips to the outside to again bring out the Steel Chair! He nails Baine in the back with it a few times, before setting the chair up in the corner. Cornell turns back to Baine..only to see him shoot up to his knees! The fans pop, but Cornell meets him with a kick right to the face! Cornell puls Baine up to his feet, then drags him over to the set-up chair - before driving him into it with a Double Arm DDT! Cornell pulls Baine away from the chair, then covers once again..1..2..no! Baine kicks out, yet again!

But despite the show of power, Tommy Cornell keeps the control of this match, stomping him down, and keeping him at pay with the occassional big move - but it seems Tommy just can't seem to put him away! Finally, Tommy goes for a rather desperate move, getting him up in Suplex position, setting him up above the sat up chair! Tommy looks to be going for a Brainbuster - but Baine is able to wriggle away, and get Cornell up in Suplex position instead - before driving him into the mat with a Jackhammer! The bleeding Baine covers Cornell, but the TCW World Heavyweight Champion shows his durability as well, kicking out of the harsh move! Baine wastes no time in keeping the offense going, setting Cornell up in the Tree Of Woe position! Baine dashes to the opposite corner, then roars out to the fans, before going for his signature "Down To Hell" Low Dropkick - but he doesn't see Tommy grab the chair up, and Cornell is able to counter by ramming it into the ribs of Baine! Cornell gets out of the tree of woe position, then hits the ropes looking for another running Chair Shot - but Baine counters with a Big Boot! Baine grabs up the Steel Chair, and waits for Cornell to get to his feet - before leveling him it! Baine covers Tommy, but he again kicks out - and after he does, it becomes apparant that he too, is busted open!

Baine pulls Tommy up to his feet, and sets him up for the Hades Bomb, but suddenly pauses when he sees the table he set up at ringside, still standing! Baine opts to take Cornell out of the position, before throwing him clear over the top rope, next to the table! Baine follows, then pulls Cornell to his feet - before again setting up him for the Hades Bomb, right in front of the table! Fortunately for Cornell, though, he has the presense of mind to grab onto the second rope, and he is able to pull himself up to the apron! But he isn't on it alone for long, Baine quickly gets up to the apron as well, and the two trade shots! Eventually, Tommy goes down south, scoring with a low blow! While Baine's doubled over, Cornell tries to get him up with a Suplex on the apron, but that's easier said then done on a guy like Baine! Finally, on the fourth attempt, Cornell gets him up with the Suplex...then drives him through the table with a flying Brainbuster!! A Brainbuster, off the apron, through the table! And Cornell gets up first, with an arrogant smile! He pulls the bloody Baine up to his feet, and then throws him into the ring! Cornell crawls over on of Baine, and covers him..

2...

..NO! Baine kicks out! Cornell is shocked! Absolutely shocked! But the shock slowly desinigrates into a look of absolute rage! Cornell slowly pulls up Baine by the hair, and shouts something unintelligible at him, before getting him up in Suplex position again..then bouncing him off the ropes, and nailing the Rough Ride! The ring shakes on impact, as Cornell hooks the leg..

2...

..NO! NO! Baine kicks out! He did it! The very first man to ever kick out of the Rough Ride! The fans are on their feet! Cornell looks like he's seen a ghost! But before any celebration starts, Cornell gets Baine locked into the Guilt Trip! He's wrenching back as far as he possibly can! The seemingly invincible Baine is struggling with all of his might to get to the ropes..he shoots forward and grabs it - but there's no disqualifications, Cornell does not have to let go! Cornell keeps Baine in it for over a minute, before he starts to fade! Eventually, the struggling finally stops, and IE Referee Koruba goes down to check on Baine. He seems to be out, and Koruba lifts up Baine's arm..

It falls once..

It falls twice..

..but the third time, Baine gets the arm back up! The fans are on their feet again, and the cheering may very well motivate Baine here, as he's able to fight up, and eventually get to his feet, still locked into the Guilt Trip! Baine desperately dashes backwards, sending Cornell crashing into the corner, breaking the hold! Baine falls forward, very much weakened, as Cornell stays in the corner for a bit..but Baine shoots up to his knees! He then grabs Cornell, and puts him back into the Tree Of Woe Position - he dashes to the opposite corner, then runs all the way back, full speed, nailing the champion with the "Down To Hell" Low Dropkick! The bloody Baine roars to the fans, before pulling up the equally bloody Cornell, and he tries to get him up for the Hades Bomb, but Cornell slinks to his knees, to block it! Baine pulls Tommy back up, only to be caught with a second Low Blow! And while he's doubled over, Cornell is able to get him up in Suplex position, then bounce him off the ropes a second time, and driving him downwards with the Rough Ride, yet again! Tommy hooks the leg!

3! Baine is not able to kick out a second time! Cornell has done it! Tommy Cornell gets the victory, and retains his title!

Tommy Cornell wins, via pinfall, after a second Rough Ride, at 19:32

Azaria: He did it! Tommy Cornell retained the title! What a brutal, bloody match!

Vibert: That was non-stop brutality in that match..and you know what, Jason, Baine was able to pull it off - he was able to kick out of the Rough Ride!

Azaria: Indeed he did, Phil, and that speaks very well on just how tough the demonic Tyson Baine really is - the only man to ever kick out of the Rough Ride, but he couldn't do it a second time!

Vibert: No he did not, and give the devil his due - Cornell fought hard for the TCW World Heavyweight Title that means so much to him, and he was able to fight off perhaps his toughest challenge to date!

Azaria: I have to agree, Phil. He may have won it in a rather shady way, but it was a No DQ match, as per his own orders, so there really was no such thing as cheating in that one!

Vibert: You're damned right, there wasn't! It was anything goes, and while Baine could have just as easily taken the title back home, atleast for tonight, Tommy Cornell is still our reigning TCW World Heavyweight Champion!

Azaria: What a match, what a night, what a Pay-Per-View! Ladies and Gentlemen, signing off from The War To Settle The Score, I'm Jason Azaria -

Vibert: - I'm Phil Vibert -

Azaria: And we will see you Tuesday!

- Seems no one expected Brent Hill to win the International Title, everyone that picked him to win, also specified that he some how would'nt win the belt. Hope that came as a nice surprise.

- Speaking of Hill/Hawkins, hot damn, my first A match! I knew it would be good, but wow, I didn't see that coming! And to think, Brent Hill was only at Upper Midcard-level popularity going into the match. At Main Eventer level, that could have very well been an A*! Definately another vote of confidence added to the push I'm giving Hill. So much for that interview where he said he gets nervous, the higher he gets pushed..

- And, counting the MiW dark match with RDJ, that is the second B match I've gotten out of Texas Pete. I'm either really good at picking his opponents, or really, really lucky..

- Glad Tyler/Rahn got the grade it did as well. The C- affair they had last time was very much a dissapointment, considering the popularity of both men, so to see such a big raise such as that, going up by three grades, really makes me feel better about the feud. Think I can get the blowoff to a solid B..? =P

- So, I went through and tried to make the show easier to skim by summing up the angles, much the same way I do with matches..what do you think?

Politics holding Alexander back?..Tag Titles champion warnings heeded?..MAW making a mistake with new Champ?

March 1st, 2008

Edward Morton

Hey there, wrestling fans, I'm Edward Morton for yet another update on all the happenings and rumors of the North American pro wrestling scene. And as you can see, our cover story today is about someone you probably wouldn't expect - Clark Alexander.

As you probably know, this January, Sam Keith was working a "respectful" angle, the intentions of which were supposedly teasing Keith returning to his older ways. One of the ways of showing this was in a match Keith had with the former "Ice Man", in which Alexander was booked to take it to Keith, and earn his respect in doing so. But apparantly, that match had not lived up to Joel Bryant's expectations. Now, this is all just a rumor, but apparantly, that match with Keith was a bit of a "test run" match, to see how Alexander could hold up against top level talent. Alexander was sporting a Bandana in that match, apparantly part of a new look that TCW was making for him, as part of a revitilized push they reportedly planned on giving him. While many fans and critics were impressed with the contest, myself included, it seems Bryant is convinced that it was nowhere as good as was expected of a guy as talented as Clark Alexander. And, obviously, Sam Keith isn't going to be blamed, so all of it falls on Alexander. Like I said, I liked that match, as did many of the people I've heard from. It wasn't breathtakingly groundbreaking, but no one was expecting that..aside from Bryant, it seems. As one would notice, Clark Alexander has not made an appearance since then, unless you count him being one of the many faceless lower carders, road agents and planted security gaurds that pulled Sammy Bach off of Teddy Powell last night.

Now, perhaps "Politics" isn't the right word to use in that headline, as that would imply that Sam Keith was behind his push being cancelled. That is not the case, in fact according to reports, even Keith was putting Alexander over to the Booker Man. But Joel Bryant was, again, reportedly, adamant that the match was a dissapointment. I don't know how far Alexander was supposed to be pushed. Many will probably remember Alexander winning a Battle Royal last December, that earned him a shot at Sammy Bach's All-Action Championship at Psycho Circus - but since that losing effort, Alexander has definately waned. Apparantly, there where talks of continuing the program with Bach after Malice In Wonderland, (R.I.P) and having him continue to eventually take the strap off of Bach, but those plans were supposedly nixed after the Keith match, and after Teddy Powell was signed. Another rumor going around is that Bryant was actually tossing around the idea of Clark Alexander being a bigger part of The Syndicate's current on-goings, eventually seeing him become the one to unseat Wolf Hawkins of the International Title, but again, after the Keith match, it ended up being Brent Hill who did those honors.

One can only wonder just why Bryant was so mad about the result of that match, when seemingly nobody else was, and one can only wonder where Clark Alexander would be right now, if not for Bryant's reaction...

It seems SWF heeded the warnings about Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee winning the Tag Titles, that I, and many, many other people, gave them. They didn't even make it out of February with the gold around their waists, as they where unseated by Sexual Aggression. But while that is considered a good team, one has to think that a midcard tag team act is a bad way to use Angry Gilmore, someone so many have pegged as a future SWF World Heavyweight Champion..

Speaking of Champions, a month after MAW's Rip Chord Invitational, (Which was won by former TCW star/manager Charlie Thatcher, a surprise to quite a few) a new World Champion was crowned for the company as well, as Indy Darling Mario Heroic was able to win the gold. But while may of MAW's fans where behind the idea, myself, I don't know how good of an idea it is to put the title on a guy who was signed to them, by way of TCW's new developmental program. Especially a guy so talened as Heroic, who is almost garaunteed to be called up sooner, rather then later. It's likely Heroic will be called up before even Total Mayhem in a few months, so it seems odd to me that they would put the belt on him, when he's the kinda guy TCW would call up at any time. But, from reports I've heard, Tommy is eager to help MAW rise in some way, as Tommy has always been a fan of the indy scene. More the merrier in the fight against SWF, right? So maybe MAW is just confident that TCW won't swipe him, as long as he is champion? Who knows, but myself, I don't think it's the smartest decision..
