The York Foundation will be represented in the duo of Thomas Rich and Dickson Murdoch. The duo make up the newest members of The York Foundation and are going be trying to prove themselves against the tag team of Joe Gomez & Joey Maggs. Will Rich and Murdoch prove themselves to be York Foundation material or will Maggs and Gomez make Ms. York will she choosen better help?

WWF

This week on Superstars....

The World Wrestling Federation rolls into Burlington, IA for another exciting hour of action, inside the squared circle.

We'll be starting things off in high gear, as The Orient Express put their international aerial artistry up against The Legion of Doom. Can Mr Fuji's men make the biggest statement of their careers, or will the LOD make them feel the rush?

We learned on Piper's Pit that Saturday Night's Main Event, at the end of this month, will feature a Tag Team Championship rematch. On Superstars, The Nasty Boys' stable-mate, Earthquake, will be in one-on-one action against Bret Hart's younger brother, Owen Hart. Just two weeks away from the return title match, will Earthquake send waves through the Hart Foundation, or will Owen's speed and determination carry the day?

In recent weeks, Rick 'The Model' Martel has been calling himself "the top free agent in the world." The only man to have publicly shown interest in taking the Model on has been Harvey Wippleman, but Martel laughed at Wippleman's advances. On Superstars, Martel will have another opportunity to showcase his talents, as he steps in the ring against Kerry Von Erich. Which of these gladiators will walk away the victor?

In the main event, Dustin Rhodes finally gets the chance for some personal revenge, as he faces the Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase. The Million Dollar Belt will be on the line, and Dustin rides into this match on a wave of momentum, having defeated 'Stunning' Steve Austin just this past week, to earn this match-up. Will the son of the American Dream leave the arena with some new diamonds, or has his luck ran out, against the Million Dollar Corporation?

Prediction Key

The Legion of Doom vs. The Orient Express

I see Tanaka on Animals shoulders with Hawk coming off the top rope with a clotheline and a LOD win

Owen Hart vs. Earthquake

Dont see Earthquake going places that I seeOwen going

Kerry Von Erich vs. Rick 'The Model' Martel

Tough one here and thought if Kerry wins, that Martel would then have to beg whippleman to take him... Then changed my mind, to see Martel win and YET whipplemen is STILL the only manager interested

Million Dollar Belt

Dustin Rhodes vs. Million Dollar Man

I dont think Dustin's ready for the SUPER PUSh he'd get for beating Dibiase

Valentine vs Piper on the undercard...WOW! If it was 1983 , that could sell out any building...

Thats sucks about the chemistry between Neidhart & Owen... and the fact Mr. Perfect and the Brain dont work well together... Those two should be able to work well with a cardboard box

Link to comment

They got a B- on a 4 minute match, ending with a DQ. They could sell out any building now (1991, that is). That was a test match, just so that I could guage what to expect from Piper, in the ring. Judging by the results, I'm going to go ahead with a full return to active competition.

Mr Perfect has poor chemistry when managing Bobby Heenan, but not the other way around. I can live with that. Neidhart & Owen, well, there are ways around that, without breaking up the band.

Thanks for the comments, and for reading, as always, Oldschool.

Loyal Readers:

Just a quick note that we're still here, and still kickin' out the jams. We've both been really busy through a lot of October, so we haven't been getting stuff posted with any regularity, as you can see. In playing terms, we actually just finished booking February, and both the first Clash of the Champions and Saturday Night's Main Event of the year went very well, and we're anxious to get the shows up for you guys.

We ask that you be patient, as we look to build our momentum back up. Thank you, as always, for reading, commenting, and validating our insanity.

Cheers!

A big win by ??? (Diamond Studd taking the title) Even though I thought that a mystery man would win, I'm still a little surprised by the outcome

What a weird combination of Buddy Landell, Nikita Koloff and Jushin Lyger

Rude and Billy Jack still get you a C, despite no chem, thats not bad at all

Landell, Koloff, and Lyger came from all men being a little mad for not being used or loses so I figured I used them against some jobbers in undercard.

I'm actually thinking about signing Billy Jack under contract after having two good matches.
