Zergon
Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) Bloodstone takes this one Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) Easy Riders keep going strong against the rookie team here Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell The difference between these two is that Powell have had a feud with big names while Miyazaki haven´t been in feuds at all Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon I like Acid and he´s been semi-strong lately Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe This looks like a match that Andrews could win Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk Mystery guy or not he won´t pick-up a win against Cornell in B-show Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law Law is feuding with Tyler so he should be able to take his underling

Big Roguey
Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) In Canada, this would be a big draw. Not in America. Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) Tooth & Claw stand no chance among the pissed off bikers. Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Random pick. Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon See above. Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe I like his hustle. Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk The only way the mystery man would win is if he was SWF's biggest main eventer and then he would still lose to Cornell on the B-show. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law It is his show, after all. He'll probably win due to a DQ.
Tigerkinney
Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) Better to keep Bloodstone looking strong here. Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) Who the hell is American Eagle?, anyway I think the world would implode if team jobber got the win here. Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Teddy Powell stays just about relevant by getting a win over someone who has been booked as a jobber thus far. Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon Most over and most credible of the three. Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe I agree with the consensus that this a match Andrews can win. Marlowe is little more than a fall guy for the Syndicate. Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk It's a mystery guy on a B-show, if he were to have any chance of beating Cornell he would at the very least be debuting on Total Wrestling. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law Another win for Law on 'his' show to send the fans home happy.
Regis
Prediction Key: Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) A competitive outing for the Canadians, but in the end, Bloodstone needs to be the title holder to unite the belts. Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) JOBBERS! Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Teddy's come off the back of a losing feud, and needs to drop into the background for a while. Shingen, meanwhile, deserves to go somewhere. Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon I reckon Acid to be the most talented and most over man in the ring. Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe This is going to be a good one, and AA needs to be elevated - and quickly. Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk Cornell takes down another youngster. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law It's his show.
Dragonmack
Prediction Key: Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk (unless it's Jack Bruce is returning, if the mystery person is associated with Hopkirk, he isnt beating Cornell) Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law The choices all seem fairly straightforward....which means there has got to be a swerve somewhere! Oregano Jensen
Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) If this was going to be a win for Deeley, it wouldn't be the opening match. Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) This is not just a higher-ranked team, this is a higher-ranked team on a roll. Even if you were going to push Tooth & Claw, which seems unlikely, it wouldn't be with a win against the Riders. Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Neither one of these guys has amounted to THAT much so far. But I feel like Powell's going to get one more shot... Miyazaki's clock hasn't even started. Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon Dragon's been booked as a jobber, Gumble's Steve Gumble. Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe I've got to admit I get Andrews and Wolf Hawkins confused a lot. Well,, except now that Hawkins is emerging as a character in this diary. So I just get Andrews confused now. Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk The Tommy Cornell Beating Up Some Dudes Tour continues. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law I've got to throw some kind of wrench into this, and I'll go with a no contest here.

Sudo_Nym
Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) Nitpick number one with your promotion: Sean Deeley is American. Just because he got his first big break in Canada doesn't make him Canadian. Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) Nitpick number two: American Eagle (assuming that it's Black Eagle/American Optimus) is in his mid-30s, and therefore past the point of being pushed as young in the world of wrestling. Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Just because I think now would be a great time to start pushing Miyazaki. Teddy could easily win, too, if you still think the Powell vs. Bach feud has legs. Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon Acid's really good, the other two are jobbers. Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe Hard to call, but Andrews been getting the stronger push; if this were a tag match, I'd probably go the other way. Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk Unless ???? is Jesus, Tommy wins. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law Rick Law could be a dynamite main eventer the instant the scene isn't already clogged.
NoNeck
Put in the time to catch up with your fine work here, Stranger. Just top notch writing, in my opinion. Getting the chance to read it in larger sittings, I think it may overshadow your PPPW diary when all is said and done, which is saying something. Anyway, to get involved like a good fanboy...... Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) Tooth and Claw do the job. Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell Is Powell versus Bach overwith? Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon Acid is the man. Especially against these two. Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe A pick 'em for me. Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk I'll echo Sudo Nym here. Well, Jesus or Nemesis. They'd both be about as big. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law No Neck loves Rick Law. Mark it down.
Beeker
Johnny Bloodstone w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins (non-title) - Deeley will likely find a way to escape the Bloodstone Mutilation but the damage will have been done and he'll fall to some other move. Easy Riders w/ Carl Batch vs. Tooth & Claw (Lobo Blanco & American Eagle) - After Blanco fired a blank against Cornell I officially refuse to endorse this bestial tag teamery! Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell - PS tries one last attempt to salvage the Disinterested storyline. Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon - Acid coz he has a girl and is not named Gumble or Dragon. (This isn't the Zone dammit!) Aaron Andrews vs. Jack Marlowe - Cornell Creative Control... Double A *has* to become a star. It starts here (and follows on from his epic match with Cornell himself.) Tommy Cornell vs. ???? w/ Randall Hopkirk - Draw. Why? Because Cornell is not going to lose on the B show, but whomever ???? should be a player as a nice nod to the network for renewing the Badge. Also I don't bet against ???? but I couldn't vote against Cornell either. Joel Bryant w/ Laura Huggins vs. Rick Law - It's his show. Sadly. Deeley plays a primarily defensive game, though there are points – particularly after he paintbrushes Bloodstone with a broad slap – where it's clear that he's trying to create an opening. Again, though, as Johnny comes closest to snapping into a rage he looks across and sees the Bombshell – and the anger just floods back out of his body. The trouble with turtling is that you always have to have a comeback ready, and you've got to make the most of it. Sean Deeley manages to block the Bloodstone Mutilation partway through, somehow getting to his feet and converting the move into a vertebreaker, but as he takes a moment to recover, he spots a third person at ringside. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/FreddyHuggins.jpg Freddy Huggins is there, watching him coldly. Deeley takes a step back to assess, looks around the ring, and then to Freddy's sister. Laura starts moving toward her brother with a look of fury and Deeley goes back to his offence – but Bloodstone has had just enough time, and balls him into an inside cradle for the victory. What's clear, however, is that the duo know absolutely how to complement each other's styles, and the performance they give is energetic, dynamic, fast, and full of zip... ...and utterly doomed, particularly once American Eagle finds himself on the receiving end. There's something about this guy; when he takes a beating, the front four rows wince. And with the Riders in aggressive, dominant mood, he takes one hell of a beating. And then, for one shining moment... The Riders set up for the Emergency Stop, hiptossing the Eagle into their arms, but he twists in midair, catching Fonda with a headscissors and bouncing up - Just in time for Fonda to nail him with a big boot, making the pin seconds later. Afterward, for good measure, the Riders deliver the Emergency Stop they'd failed to hit before. Jeremy is, as always, all business save for that hint of a sneer as he regards them. Edd, meanwhile, plays to audience applause which is around 80% imaginary. “Our challenge for the tag belts,” Jeremy says softly, “has nothing to do with you,” he says. “It's our business. So what you said on Tuesday – we've got nothing to do with your business. Unless you mean to give us a problem, anyway – and if you do, we will snap both of you in two.” http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/MayhemMidden.jpg And then it's his turn to look surprised, as Shout at the Devil hits – and Mayhem Midden emerges behind him. “Sounds like you four are having fun,” he says, grinning. “Now, considering the situation... The Riders can say they only lost by DQ. You and your brother would make a hell of a pair of champions. And the New Wave deserve to have things to worry about other than chairshots and cheating. “So I'm thinking it's not going to be a bad idea to make the match at A Little South of Sanity a three-way contest. Congratulations, all four of you – you had a problem, you now have a way to settle it.” He smirks. “Don't play around with me, boys. I've lost my taste for it.” http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/totalbanner.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/ShingenMiyazaki_alt1.jpg vs. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/TeddyPowell.jpg Shingen Miyazaki vs. Teddy Powell A pretty solid contest, actually. Powell looks... happy... for practically the first time since he emerged in TCW. It may just be not having Stevie Grayson by his side, of course, but he seems to be having fun here, eventually ducking a spinning backfist and scoring with the Motion Censor after an otherwise evenly-fought contest. Miyazaki watches, and Jasmine Saunders muses aloud about the minor shows of respect Ino gave Miyazaki and his tag team partner not too long ago, following his victories over them. The three go into a cluster, heads bowed, for a few moments. Eventually Ino nods, turns, and heads backstage. Emily and Miyazaki walk away after him, deep in quiet conversation. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/totalbanner.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/Acid_alt2.jpg w/ http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/LauraCatherineHuggins.jpg vs. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/SteveGumble_Grunge2.jpg vs. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/UKDragon.jpg Acid w/ Laura Huggins vs. Steve Gumble vs. UK Dragon Fast-paced, this match's biggest trouble is that, right now, none of these three appears to have much going on, and the crowd doesn't like that so much. Acid and UK Dragon team up for quite a while, beating Gumble down thoroughly, though he clearly does his best to rally. Toward the end, the Dragon catches Gumble with the Dragon Drop; Acid promptly climbs to the top turnbuckle, while Dragon keeps Gumble pinned down, and as the School of Tradition man launches into the air for the Acid Rain Bomb, Gumble manages to twist, pulling Dragon into the Bomb's path. Acid promptly blocks Gumble's Savate Kick, though, and gets the Acidity Test, leaving the Young Gun with little option but to tap out. Still, he's having trouble keeping pace with Andrews' assault, and that means that, sooner or later, he needs some help. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/JulianWatson_FIN.jpg And a tag team specialist is never without support, as Julian Watson enters the ring just after Marlowe's 'accidental' left hook to Sam Sparrow's jaw. The beatdown that ensues is swift and brutal, and the pair quickly prepare for the Gojira Falls – but Andrews rolls clear, and Julian Watson is briefly out of commission. He slams a fist into an adjacent door, and after a moment it opens. Randall Hopkirk's head emerges, obviously curious. “Yeah?” “Tell your kid's buddy I'm making this a tag team match. He has any sense, he'll get dressed for it now.” Hopkirk blinks. “He hasn't had time to prepare,” he says mildly. “Yeah, well, neither has Wolf,” Cornell snorts, as Hawkins' eyes widen. “Wait a minute,” he says, “I'm not ready-” “YOU SHOULD BE,” Cornell snarls, rounding on him. “You're in the Syndicate, Wolf. The Balcony boys do their best – but it's all they can do to hold it together as two furious experts compete in one-upsmanship, using them as the targets. On commentary, Azaria and Rhodes do their best to pinpoint what the newcomers are doing well and have to offer, but the main thing is that they simply are outclassed. Grades aren't really important. Me only getting one match wrong... now that's a warning sign PS needs to pay attention to! Pretty much what Beeker said, yeah. I'd hoped for the Cornell/Hawkins vs. Balcony Express (name credit 1PWFan) to hit B- based off the kind of results those two pull whenever I hand them jobbers, but other than that this show was about story beats and putting people up against people they could learn from. Sometimes it happens. I like B-shows. They're horribly experimental.
Phantom Stranger
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/bookbanner.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/book_open-2.jpg Saturday November 13th 2008 I'm really, really unsure I should write this down. If I do, I suppose I can always cut it before this manuscript reaches the proofing stage, just in case; it'd be harder to get the details right if I don't write it close to the time. But it may happen that I don't want to be admitting to Tommy that I knew about this before he did. I got the phonecall Jennifer mentioned a couple of weeks ago. I didn't realise that, at first; my Saturday routine, if I manage to grab a redeye home on Friday night, is to check in with the Danger Zone dojo if my daughter's currently running courses and offer some advice; otherwise, I sit around the house, check in with the office by phone, do any odd jobs Maggie needs doing... Regardless, friends and family know that if they want to make sure of catching me, they should call on Saturday. And over the last thirty years, most of my friends have been made through the business. I picked up the phone just after lunch and heard the cheerful tones of Marcus McKing. I've known Moustache since my first stint in the SWF, back when he still looked like getting a push there – I was one of the young heels who was fed to him in an attempt to sell the fans on getting behind him. At that time, I didn't know him well – I had my own crowd I ran with, he had his – but I came to know him quite well when I took up the book for Philly Power Pro Wrestling, which was, backstage, close to a SWF reunion. Moustache was the agent who helped a lot of our youngsters put their matches together for the first year or so I was there, and there's pretty much no way not to get close to someone when their job is to take what you visualised and help the talent actually do it. These days he makes his money working for Angel Athletic Association, an all-womens promotion out of Seattle, backstage and on the announce table. What he said was... somewhat surprising. “I keep hearing that you're always on the phone with Cliff and Shawn,*” he began. “Checking up on the new talent.” I made some joke about it, figuring it for small talk, but he pressed on. “Are the girls not good enough for you?” I'm not sure how this happened. TCW has apparently made a deal with AAA and signed seventeen 'girl grapplers' – four of them to train the others. It's apparently done this without telling me. Or Joel. Or Sam. Or Tommy himself, it turned out when I called Jennifer – as per her request. She wants to give these women a huge, international platform, to prove that it can work. She evidently has enough sway with the financial side to do this without needing to run it by Tommy. So what do I do now? * - Shawn Gonzales, who books FCW, our second dev territory
1PWfan
I'd say form a women's division, sign Kate Dangerous and god-push her to the title. It's just not wrestling without gratuitous nepotism and putting family ahead of the company.
Phantom Stranger
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/totalwrestlingbanner.jpg As TCW roll into the Oregon Gardens it's beginning to look like a really good show is coming together. We're going to see a mix of new and experienced talent in action this Total Wrestling; let's see what's what. Following the events of John Anderson's title defence against Texas Pete last week, Mayhem Midden has made an unusual tag team match to kick things off; the Machines are going to step up and be counted, facing off with Texas Pete and the man who ran him down, Wolf Hawkins. Midden has informed us that Pete and Wolf will be made to work together during this match; any assault on a tag team partner will be severely penalised. Another tag team contest is the next bout up on the slate; the Stone Brothers have demanded a contest against the Easy Riders' opponents this past Friday, Tooth and Claw, with the clear intent of proving a point. Can Tooth And Claw pull something out to earn the respect of the TCW faithful, or have their careers simply got off to the worst start possible? The Tag Team Champions are in action, too! The New Wave will face off with the unlikely team of American Buffalo and JD Morgan, testing themselves against pure strength and incredible technical savvy ahead of the mountain they're faced with at the end of the month. Eddie Peak, the Bloody-Handed God, has a match scheduled against the Celtic Crippler Merle O'Curle. Could Peak be trying to learn some new tricks ahead of his upcoming showdown with the giant Marat Khoklov? And, indeed, Khoklov will be in action immediately afterward, his opponent being Joey Minnesota. Again, the opponents set for them are not brawlers, and either man may be hoping to find something new and effective. The Elite Express look to put on quite the showcase against the Hard-Hitting Champion and his ally; in tag team competition next are Sam Keith and his student Johnny Bloodstone. The Express seem bound and determined to pit their wits against the very best TCW has to offer, and while that's been a losing proposition so far, it shows the kind of heart you need to get ahead in this business. A six-man tag will spice things up afterward; Art Reed aligns with the Keith brothers, and against them, Chris Rockwell and his student Frankie Perez will be joined by Sean Deeley. We're told Rockwell requested this match, but no information has been given out as to why. Alliterative battle follows; Aaron Andrews steps into the ring as the latest to defend TCW's pride. His opponent? None other than the 'supreme specimen' Remo Richardson. Andrews has to be seen as the underdog here, but his heart and fighting spirit have surprised us before. The main event promises to be interesting. Originally scheduled to see Troy Tornado side with Ricky Dale Johnson against the Syndicate duo of Tommy Cornell and Tyson Baine, RDJ's injury at the hands of Richardson has prevented that. Mr Cornell has promised that no matter what, even if Tornado can't find a tag partner, the match will go on - so who will volunteer? Zergon
The Machines vs. Texas Pete & Wolf Hawkins Texas Pete might be getting a push but I don´t see him going over Machine in tag match even if he have Wolf as he´s partner Stone Brothers vs. Tooth And Claw Tooth and Claw is getting another beat down here American Buffalo & JD Morgan w/ Floyd Goldworthy vs. New Wave (non-title) Buffalo or Morgan haven´t done anything that make me think that they could win here even when this is non-title match Eddie Peak vs. Merle O'Curle Shoukld be pretty one-way match Joey Minnesota vs. Marat Khoklov Khoklov needs to be booked like unstoppable monster and losing to Minnesota doesn´t do that so he wins here Elite Express vs. Johnny Bloodstone & Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell Seems a little one-sided match though Express likely will get some offence Art Reed & the Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Chris Rockwell, Frankie Perez & Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins I go with faces here mainly because they likely work together better than the heel side plus Deeney have problems with Freddy and that might became a factor too. Aaron Andrews vs. Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert Remo isn´t losing to Andrews Tommy Cornell & Tyson Baine vs. Troy Tornado & ???? Hard to predict against mystery man but I presume is someone from existing roster and not a new guy.
Tigerkinney
The Machines vs. Texas Pete & Wolf Hawkins Wolf attacking Texas Pete might see him be punished, but did it say anything about being punished for walking out and leaving Pete to just fend for himself ? I just don't see them working together to go over the team with experience. Stone Brothers vs. Tooth And Claw I'll get this in before Regis...JOBBERS ! American Buffalo & JD Morgan w/ Floyd Goldworthy vs. New Wave (non-title) Non title for a reason...glorfied JOBBERS ! Eddie Peak vs. Merle O'Curle O'Curle at this stage is still a, you've guest it a JOBBER Joey Minnesota vs. Marat Khoklov Zergon put it exactly how I would have put it Elite Express vs. Johnny Bloodstone & Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell Competitive squash match, two borderline JOBBERS (at this stage) aren't going over two guys holding belts and enjoying a strong push Art Reed & the Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Chris Rockwell, Frankie Perez & Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins What's this ? A match not involving JOBBERS but a difficult to call match involving a collection of midcarders, looking to rise the ranks. For me Reed right now is the weakest link in this match so I'll go for the heel trio in this one. Aaron Andrews vs. Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert Now Andrews isn't a JOBBER but he sure as hell isn't going over Remo. Tommy Cornell & Tyson Baine vs. Troy Tornado & ???? Could swing either way, especially with the involvement of a mystery guy but you know what I'm going to go for the Syndicate duo to still win the day here. Regis
The Machines vs. Texas Pete & Wolf Hawkins Voting for Pete here - don't derail his push yet! Stone Brothers vs. Tooth And Claw JOB - wait, what? American Buffalo & JD Morgan w/ Floyd Goldworthy vs. New Wave (non-title) Never bet against the champs. Eddie Peak vs. Merle O'Curle JOBBE - damn it! Joey Minnesota vs. Marat Khoklov Never derail a monster's push. Elite Express vs. Johnny Bloodstone & Sam Keith w/ Blonde Bombshell Nowhere near over enough yet. Sorry, EE. Art Reed & the Keith Brothers w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Chris Rockwell, Frankie Perez & Sean Deeley w/ Laura Huggins Let's see how this shapes up. I'm intrigued. Aaron Andrews vs. Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert Sorry, AA. Tommy Cornell & Tyson Baine vs. Troy Tornado & ???? Never bet against ????
