Owner's written contract does cost your company nothing, I'm 99% sure about it. I ran couple of test games that supported my claims. Although owner's written contract does not cost you, owner's ppa contract does cost you whenever you use the owner</p>

On the off-month the only wages paid are downsides (when the promotion is not touring?) and Written contracts.</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: I just copied the save and ran February all the way to March and <strong>found out that Kovic is actually RIGHT 100%: Owner's do not cost a thing, even though Ryu Kajahara is on a Written deal for 18,000$</strong>. Thanks for clearing that up for everyone and for me. I'll edit it into the original post from which you quoted it from. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Should be interesting to see how the feds progress over time. For one, WEXXV doesn't have a lot of appropriate new workers being generated for it's product type.

And everything GCG can do PGHW can do better. So it'll be interesting to see how you deal with that and with high intensity feds sharing workers is killer.

All that is needed in WEXXV is either 1.) high Hardcore 2.) high Menace or 3.) high Entertainment. Cornellverse has huge amount of guys like that in the end, even in Japan so I don't think that creating new stars is going to be a problem in the long-run. Thanks for commenting on the diary btw! WEXXV in this save is about surviving, financial side of the business and one day getting and staying on Cult level and beoynd.

And everything GCG can do PGHW can do better. So it'll be interesting to see how you deal with that and with high intensity feds sharing workers is killer.

And INSPIRE. And BHOTWG. And WLW. Especially WLW in the end.. But this is where Loyalty and Chemistry notes come into play + good booking I guess. We have to rely on the guys that we aren't going to lose, those guys who are Loyal to us: Gakusha, Hyobanshi, Takayuki 2000, Kiminobu Kuroki, Mabuchi Furusawa. Even those five can lead GCG into International greatness if booked and used correctly. Also there's going to be a handful of young, great workers that we can steal right from the start, making them loyal to us. You'll see.

Hopefully I can get the next show done by tomorrow.

WLW is betting constant B- to B shows but still have D importance in one region (Two is needed for rise to Cult). Happy Birthday FIN. I really love this diary. I picked up a SWF game before my computer crashed and I was doing quite well after the notes of watching you run WEXXV. I actually had a show where I got a B overall while the main event and secondary main event only got a B- just because of the angles and build up I had. Anyway keep up the good work and I'll keep reading.

Sorry to bump and "old" thread, but I was wondering. There was no where near as much skill improvement in WEXXV as GCG why is this?

For my diary I'm preparing when I get back to my computer in London is a high cult/hardcore promotion equal in both pop and peformance. Will the performance improve more becuase of this? and how would one book it? Longer matches or angles?

Thanks in advance!

Because I used way less worker in WEXXV due to bad finances. As you can see, with 2hr long GCG shows I almost used the whole roster everytime, thus there were a lot more learning. In WEXXV I used just 6-8 workers per show.

Equally biased products are great as they allow the user to create their stars in every way possible (With matches or different angles) but there's one thing that hinders the progress: The fact that it's equally biased, meaning that a good entertaining worker but bad wrestler will shine in angles but suck in matches and vice versa.. No matter how good of a wrestler the worker is, his popularity will drag him down and vice versa, no matter how popular a crappy wrestler is, his lack of wrestling skill will drag his match grades down. The best workers are those who can do good matches and good angles OR if you book it that way that you only use the entertaining guys in angles and the wrestlers in just matches. Basicly you could just have entertaining guys do the promos and get their pop up that way and then job them to the wrestlers, or vice versa, depending on their skills.

If you like some more help, PM me anytime you want :) I'd be happy to help with your diary.

IIRC, in the Cornellverse '97 mod WEXXV's product is actually different from the default product, and it's biased equally! Try it!

Sorry for the lack of updates, the diary isn't dead, it's just December and all the stuff in it, 'Treemas' being the most obvious one. Been a weird month at work (I work in a supermarket, it's hell in 'treemas'). Hopefully I could get the inspiration to do few shows here and there but the upcoming TEW2010 is seriously taking all the motivation out of playing '08.

Great great dynasty.

I like reading this and applying it to my own games. So much cool info and to see it play out like this is a big help.

Quote:

Larry Wood vs. Ryu Kajahara

Wood to Dominate

Match end with Tainted Finish

Kajahara should be accidentally hit by Senmatsu

Outside Interference

That was awesome and to see it work out so well was great. Thats what i like to see, those road agent notes are great. I try not to use too many myself, mainly all out for main events but that's an awesome way to get Wood to win and get that huge jump in pop.

Keep up the great work, still reading... still learning. great great stuff
