AfRoMaN36
And I 100% disagree with this. If she debuted as the face of the diva's divison, maybe, but as mentioned earlier, Lana got pretty over doing a similar shtick, despite not looking like an ersatz Pamela Anderson. Then once Sable was over, there was very little pushback on her being carried by Jackie or Luna because the crowd actually cared and wanted to see her. Lana wasn't a wrestler when she debuted, she was a manager. And she also knew how to cut a promo. And there wasn't the push back on Sable because most of those fans hadn't seen anything better at that point. How would they know that there was actual very good women's wrestling? I mean she refused to take most bumps. In a world where Bayley and Sasha Banks main evented pay per views this would not fly.

Apparently you either don't remember or are to young but Sable was a manager first for her husband Marc Mero and while she didn't cut promos like Lana OT wasn't Lana's promos that got her so over with the crowd it was how hot she is. I remember. I mentioned that in a previous post. And we'll agree to disagree, but let's just see how over she remains once she converts to wrestling full time. Her pop has already waned considerably (albeit that is more so for terrible booking).
Big Roguey
"Rich Swann, Zack Sabre Jr., Ciampa, Dahr [meaning Noam Dar], Gargano, Ho Ho Lun, Akira Tozawa have been announced for WWE's Global Cruiser Tourney." Straight from the ongoing HHH press conference. Really pleased to see ZSJ, Tozawa & Noam Dar get straight entries.
joemurphy
Incredibly happy for Noam Dar, wonder if there will be three more added on to that from the Progress and RevPro matches or ZSJ/Dar will win two of them matches.

I'm guessing it's ZSJ, Dar, Progress 1, Progress 2, Rev Pro 1, Rev Pro 2 from the UK. My dream UK field is ZSJ, Dar, Mark Haskins, Jack Gallagher, Morgan Webster & Pete Dunne. Jaysin
I know it's not going to happen, but I'd laugh hysterically if somehow the current Mistico was entered into the tournament.
Blackman
Love the Jordan & Gable promo going into NXT Dallas show. Always good to tie something real to the upcoming match. And what the hell... Is "No Way Hose" guy from the C-verse debuting in NXT?

Blackman
Must have missed the promo. Was it after the Revival match? I didn't get to finish it It was last week's NXT, I believe right before the Emma vs Asuka main event. They basically just say they're motivated to win and valorise it by bringing up their freestyle background and the losses they suffered previously. It looked more like an ultrashort documentary but ultimately promoted the Tag team.

milamber
I love how they've kept American Alpha and The Revival apart. Even though I expect American Alpha to win so they can be fast-tracked to the main roster (maybe after SummerSlam) it helps give the match an open feel like it could go either way. Corbin's promo was good (the Virgil namedrop made me LOL) as was his interaction with the crowd after his match. Fingers crossed he can cut a promo like that in front of a live audience. Baron Corbin promo on Aries It looks like Nakamura gets to keep his last name: https://twitter.com/Joel2Sleep/status/715576451873902593
Blackman
They give me that Haas & Benjamin vibe, but different. H&B didn't really have anything going for them. These guys have more charisma than Haas, or at least are allowed to show it more.

The Final Countdown
I would hope that if Ibushi does do something with WWE, it's only on a temporary basis like with their cruiserweight series. If he felt like working in NJPW and DDT was too tough a schedule, the WWE's insane touring would run him into the ground.

I've had Mania VI on in the background as I was working on a show for my dynasty, and there's been some great unintentional comedy. Like Duggan waving the flag and trying to lead a USA chant...in Toronto. Or Mary Tyler Moore clearly having no clue what Sean Mooney was talking about when he "interviewed" her. Or Greg Valentine looking about as out of place next to Honky as Barry Windham did "playing" the drums for the West Texas Rednecks.

Their style meshed amazingly with the Revival's old school style. I freaked out when they showed Funaki and Ibushi on camera though.
