milamber
Cornette refuses to watch Lucha Underground (my favorite promotion) because it's a network funded promotion headed by writers not bookers. And while the ratings aren't the best (they have deals with Itunes and Netflix now, though) he's clearly stuck in the past because LU is trying to do something different in the industry and its small but rabid fan base appreciate it. K-Nection
Not sure if the finish to the Women's MitB match is the best thing ever, or the worst... If it was the attitude era it would have just stayed with ellsworth. Didn't watch it but it sounded like a great match right up until Elssworth stole it. milamber
Money in the Bank: Women's MITB - Good match. Not many memorable spots but the women did well for their first attempt at this type of match. The ending with Ellsworth and Carmella was great, especially with how hot the crowd were. New Day vs Usos - Good match. Cheap finish and a few botches aside the last 5 minutes had some cool sequences. The Usos should not lose until SummerSlam. Lana vs Naomi - OK match. Lana is closer to Brie's level than Eva's, which is impressive this early on in her training. It should have been non-title, though. Mike & Maria Kanellis (aka The First Lady of WWE and her Cucked Husband) - I like the gimmick so far. The Maharaja vs Orton - Good match. I didn't expect to like it much but I was pleasantly surprised. I just wish they had let Jinder use the RKO to win because the heat would have been nuclear. Breezango vs Ascension - I skipped the match because I wanted American Alpha not Ascension. Hopefully that's still to come. Men's MITB - Great match. Corbin was a good choice but Zayn would have been better, IMO. Verdict: Good PPV with a hot crowd. I enjoyed it more than Extreme Rules. Jinder got the loudest heel heat I have ever heard personally. I know a lot of it is smark heat because he is the new big guy pushed to the moon by Vince but still. A reaction is a reaction. A lot of it was facing Orton too since St Louis is Orton's home town.</p>
milamber
Best Raw in a long time except for the Women's Division. They have no clue what to do so they just throw them all in the one segment like it's a go-home show <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I just want a 10 minute Sasha/Emma match with a clean finish. They just need to book them like they are men and they will knock it out of the park. Treat the champs like they are main eventers and your casual audience will take them seriously. It is simple but somehow flies over creative's head.</p><p> </p><p> They have the talent but they don't know what to do with them. It is like they have 20 Damien Sandows. While it might be obvious to us and they get really good reactions they just don't know how to tell stories for them unless their name is Roman Reigns (and even then they miss wildly with those swings).</p>
Blackman
I can see him interjecting himself in the match to take the briefcase and use it for himself. Nah, that won't happen. Figures... I can see him feuding with Carmella over the fact that it's his, not hers, and using it for a title shot against the champ. Haven't seen the main event yet, but the rest was mediocre, with some generic smackdown fragments thrown in. What worth has a PPV nowadays? Things like this make me cancel my subscription. Unless Emma saves it.

I expected that finish and couldn't think of a more entertaining alternative. Miz & Maryse would have done the same because that's the type of thing good heels do. Carmella killed it on Smackdown and Talking Smack. Bryan losing it as Ellsworth was great. Becky's top class reaction promos (on TV and Youtube) make her highly sympathetic. WWE knew full well what the reaction was going to be and they leaned into it for maximum heat. I just hope they follow through and let Carmella win again next week, in controversial fashion of course.</p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile on Raw I refuse to give a toss about any of the women until they bother to book some actual storylines.</p>

Blackman
Bad promo to start with from Reigns. A lot of his constructs just didn't make any sense. He even used "Samoa Joe" even though he was shooting for an angle of calling him just "Joe". Him opening the doors like an idiot also isn't helping him get heat or love. Jaysin
Joe choking Lesnar out was one of the best things I've seen on Raw in a long time. Lesnar turning purple made me feel uneasy, but I'm guessing it was his idea for Joe to legit put the move on him. Lesnar having a super sunburned face really added to the look of him being choked out as well. WWE may have an idiotic name for the next Raw event, but as long as a motivated Lesnar shows up(highly unlikely, but I'm cautiously optimistic) then we'll at least get a good main event. According to Jerry Lawler (per Cageside Seats) Great Balls of Fire is planned to be a yearly event, not just a one off.

lukess11
I get putting the Women's MITB rematch on Smackdown for ratings, but it is so stupid to do it again. If you are going to have the same person win twice, why even do the second one? In my opinion, all it does is demean the math and briefcase. MightyDavidson
So apparently Tyson Kidd is being moved into a backstage role. On the one hand this saddens me if it's true as it means his career is over, though that's hardly surprising given the severity of the injury that put him on the couch in the first place. On the other hand I'm happy because it means he's still employed and still capable of supporting his family.

Lots of potential for good tv.</p><p> </p><p> As for MitB reboot: it doesn't seem like a good idea but as mentioned before the importance of PPV's is fading as a result of the subscription model.
