The Official WWE / NXT Discussion Thread *May Contain Spoilers*

When the Ultimate Warrior left WWF, Vince McMahon and Warrior both signed a non-disclousere that meant that WWF and Warrior wouldn't talk bad about each other. Warrior at some point after signing that, Warrior started talking bad about WWF, and broke the non-disclousere.

That was why WWF made "The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior". To get even, so to speak, and was the main reason why WWF/WWE and Warrior were going at each other for years.

Might be an odd way to introduce him, but it could work. I don't know if I really want to see him wrestle again, but I guess it'd depend on who he's working with. As bad as Undertaker and Sting would have been, it would have at least had an air of intrigue.

What I'm really hopeful for is a documentary and career retrospect. I'm ashamed I own Sting: Return of an Icon.

Yeah. He talks about his time in various companies while wrestling guys like Kazarian and Abyss using mystical powers. I bought it strictly to show support to my favorite wrestler of all time, but so so so bad!

To top that off, all these supposed historical matches are happening in the Impact zone in a six sided ring.

Anyone ecstatic that Paige is now the Divas champion? I think with her and Emma on the main roster really bolsters the Divas division. Hopefully, they let Emma and Paige put on another classic like they did on NXT.

Paige has a good look and I believe she could be the one Diva that the division could be centered around. Emma has some great wrestling skill and doesn't hurt that she was trained by Lance Storm. They could totally make them to be like the next Lita and Trish for the division. I'm not saying Paige and Emma could be the new Lita and Trish but I'm sure WWE can utilize them, and they have a great mix of "ingredients," to bring back some legitimacy to the Divas division. Not like AJ wasn't helping already, just another great addition.

I can't say how happy I am that Paige is the new Divas champion. I know she just started on the main roster and hoping it means there are good things to come for her. I just realized after watching Shimmer Volume 53 that Saraya Knight is her mother and looked up about Paige's family. They have put all there energy on getting their kids (like Paige, she has two brothers Zack and Roy) into the mainstream. I also hope Zack does get signed by WWE, he seems to have the tenacity but WWE doesn't like his look and have told him to get bigger, of course. WWE won't hire Roy because of his past run ins with the law.

I bet UK wrestling fans on this board are aware of what I'm talking about. Anyone else think this could be great stuff?

She was Paige main rival in the ring and the top face if you count Summer as the top heel and Paige as the tweener. The dancing ditz was part of her character, not her entire character.

I love the fact that Paige is the champ. It does irk me that they seem to have made her a nervous fan girl though, especially with her "not being ready" for a title match. It just seemed out-of-character from how they established her on NXT.

And am I the only one who doesn't find Emma entertaining? Maybe I just missed her best moments, but I've never seen anything I liked about her, I haven't seen a match of hers where she seemed anything more than competent (though I suppose that's still an achievement for the average Diva) and her dancing makes her look like a narcoleptic raver who just took too much acid. I like watching NXT, but whenever her music starts playing, I just skip ahead, unless Paige is involved.

Her tag match with Santino last year was actually super over and worked pretty well for being gimmicky, she had some pretty good matches with Summer Rae and a few others where she went longer than two minutes. I agree that TV Emma has been pretty mediocre though, but that might just be that she's stuck with Santino, who can occasionally be funny but is just grating 90% of the time.

Her debut should have just been coming out trying to say something when AJ just keeps shutting her down without letting her say a single word, challenged her, and then have an actual match. Hot pale chick with super black hair who doesn't say a single word and kicks ass is just perfect.

It would've felt weird if Bryan hadn't tried since they saved him the previous week, but of course he wasn't there.

It shows them trying to run a promotion and pay the staff and wrestlers with the tiny amount they make, plus Paige (Britany) and Zack going for the WWE try outs. It's about 45 mins long and you can watch it here: http://dailymotion.com/video/xs9ski_the-wrestlers-fighting-with-my-family_shortfilms
