I don't like Cesaro's theme. It doesn't fit the push he's receiving. It's like this generic theme that is commonly used for more action-oriented cruiserweights to be well-received by their main fanbase segment (young adolescents).

As for the name shortening. It might not be optimal, but to call it "really really really stupid" is a little overreacting. "Big E" lies better on the tongue and - quite frankly - so does Cesaro, even though "Antonio Cesaro" (with the triple O) is well-designed.

As for the Connon tribute video: I obviously got tear-eyed by it, as I'm sure many people get, but I'm kinda in the middle about their approach. It's great they involved him in the buildup, and he visually enjoyed it , but I don't think he needed the whole charade of superstars pretending to get 'hurt' when high-fiving. The kid realises his situation and might not want this kind of make-believe, even though it fits his age. This critisism might come off as retarded (as WWE is all about make-believe), but I hope you understand the point. That said, I don't know anything about his wishes so I don't really have the right to speak about it, so maybe I shouldn't have said anything at all. Their whole Make-a-Wish policy is used to create a positive company image, but one could wonder what the primary reason is. If you see the superstars' emotions when they run the promo videos, they do seem real. And I know for a fact that it can be a really enriching experience to work with this type of kid, for both parties.

The name shortening thing are either the Goldberg effect, where they feel like just going by one name instead of two will make the wrestler sound more menacing, or just simply shortening the names to make them easier to remember. They do this with the divas all of the time.

Cesaro as an only name works for me, Big E is ok, I prefer Alexander Rusev to just Rusev, however.

Cesaro does work for me as a single name, but Big E sounds painfully generic by itself.

Rusev is just sort of...there. I don't know, it's not going to make me enjoy his work any less, but I don't agree with shortening his name.

I liked it with Goldberg because his first name was Bill, and in the person's mind, his first name was largely an afterthought. But in the case of Cesaro, Big E and Rusev, you have three guys with interesting full names. Plus it just sounds awkward when Lilian Garcia announces their name. Each to their own, but I really don't like it.

"From Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Brute, ALEXANDER RUSOV!"

However, during commentary, I expect them to shorten it to just Rusov, Bryan, or whatever. When talking, they don't need to use full names, just for the entrance... Just like anything else, I don't use full names when I'm out and about, but I want to know they have a full name, lol.

I don't like them shortening it just to make it easier to remember or easier to type out.

I do agree with Rusev being shortered. That doesn't come off well. I liked the full name much more. I just don't agree with the others being that bad.

As for the Connor kid: didn't realise he passed away recently and was in a terminal stage. That makes it a great experience for him. I had the same feeling with the Ultimate warrior. The experience was probably so damn awesome his soul probably thought to call it a life. This might come off as 'blunt' when I put it that way on a forum, but I honestly believe in the existence of a soul and it being prescribed with a certain agenda in its life. I might not be a coincendence that they just die right after 'Mania.

Again, anything can happen in wrestling if Goldberg could get owned by Jericho. Anyone else agree with this article? The first time I really noticed the use of chaotic camera work was when the Shield debuted. Lately it seems to have progressed from being a stylistic choice to poor decision making from the director(s). Extreme Rules was poor at times. It's not so bad that I hate it but sometimes they just need to keep the camera still and let the action unfold.

I would say that Sheamus responding to it would mean that it's probably false. If they didn't shift the cameras, you'd probably see how much Sheamus misses the Brogue Kick and stuff like that.

I can't say the movement bothers me (although I do notice it and it can take you out of the story at times) but the increase of close-action shots really annoy me, especially as they keep the microphones on. For one, I don't need to hear two guys grunting/moaning/screaming to know they're in pain, the grimace is enough. But more than anything, you hear more and more of them telling each other what to do or what they're planning to do next, particularly with someone like Cena who seems incapable of controlling the volume of his voice. Again, it's more of an issue of taking you out of the story than anything else, but it's annoying as hell; I want to see the match unfold, not hear about it first. I guess that's a case of the microphones though, not the camera shots themselves.
