- Brutal Shimmer reunion match between Nikki and Mercedes

- The post-match segment made me really want to see an intergender match involving Gargano, Candice, Nikki and Black

- Montez Ford rules. Dawkins is screwed if they ever get broken up.

- Bro! Bro! Bro! Riddle's entrance theme is a perfect fit for a chilled-out fan favorite. Menzies is solid in the enhancement talent role.

- Short but good main event. The luchadors are a good addition to the tag divsion.

- Good choice giving us an epic brawl to set up WarGames instead of a match

Makes me wonder who they're talking to.

Nakamura going back would be amazing. He'd immediately be in contention for most over guy on the roster if he returned.

Daniel Bryan would be fun if he can stay healthy.

Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins would fit in well over there too, but I doubt Rollins is going anywhere.

Oh ffs, Shane really?

WWE have had to change plans and they've shoe horned in new stories. I've read that Braun was buried. No he wasn't, he was screwed. Build him back up for a WrestleMania rematch and revenge... would be sensible, but not necessarily going to happen. Ziggler screwed? No, he won 2 matches and then lost to someone... just the wrong someone. He wasn't screwed, but the tournament was. Will the payoff be worth it for that? No.

It's frustrating to look at the results, but this wasn't a their 1 PPV - it was a glorified house show with titles / cups on the line. Yes it had a load of oldies, but it would have been an awesome house show. However hype it up as a huge show, you're going to get judged but that standard.

Not defending the current product - it's at a low. I just don't think this lowered it as mu h as has been suggested.

The level of hype they put on the show made it a big deal. So no, it's not a glorified house show.

Brock is a detriment to the roster in my opinion. He's lazy, boring, and his only good match the last few years was because he was in the ring with AJ Styles who can make anyone look good.

Shane as "best in the world" is pure garbage booking. No part timer, especially a McMahon should ever have that title. This is as dumb as Vince winning the ECW title.

Don't get me wrong, I love Shane and usually defend his being in matches, but not this time.

<img alt="nhnHnU7.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nhnHnU7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

For anyone who didn't watch Blood Money in the Bank here's the highlights:

https://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=209208

- Hulk Hogan was on the show

- Shane McMahon somehow won the World Cup tournament he wasn't even in

- Joe lost to Styles in 11 minutes

- Strowman lost to Brock in 3 minutes

- The old farts match went nearly half an hour, Triple H wrestled most of it injured and Kane's mask fell off

Glad I didn't watch that crap.

Can people actually genuinely say their money is being well spent on WWE with the product as awful as it is, a show like Crown Jewel actually happening with HULK HOGAN being the face of it and senior employees unironically tweeting something like this?

I don't wanna sound like a prick by telling people what to watch and how to spend their money, but I would still love nothing more than for everyone to just mass cancel the Network. They've gone so spectacularly off the rails in every single area yet there's zero consequences.

TL;DR: I sincerely hope WWE dies.

The 10 year blood money contract with the Saudis is hard to ignore, though.

For the record, I don't pay WWE a cent because I prefer to spend my money on Stardom and DDT streaming services to support them.

It's 9.99 - don't even feel it. And if I did, I wouldn't then spend it on something else. Good enough for me.

I wonder if they just didn't want one of their "movie stars" to have the stain of winning that in Saudi Arabia so why not have a non-wrestler win it? I didn't watch it because it's a house show. What they decide to do is their business.

The Brock win was puzzling though.

I was sick yesterday so basically caught up to WWE network programming. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Saw Evolution and Crown Jewel and they were... fine. Nothing really shocking. I know there was a lot of controversy surrounding the Saudi event but what do you want them to do? The investigation is still going on so best not to draw any conclusions.

The ending of the "Best in the World" tournament seemed like trolling to me and was best avoided. Or just call it the "World Cup" then. Anyhow, it was an unnecessary tournament without any context whatsoever. Probably an idea of the Saudi's responsible for the event. I skipped the tag team main event. How good could it have been? I doubt it's better than their Attitude work. That would be laughable.

I liked Becky vs Charlotte but as always lately the gimmick matches have been made to look bad as WWE doesn't seem to enforce consistency in the ruling. Refs not counting while a superstar was down (it would've been 10)... Kinda spoils the match for me. If that's how you're gonna do it: just make it a no-DQ...
