4C: Underground Wrestling

Recommended Posts

OOC: Ya I felt kinda burned out with the WCW Diary I started. I thought I was gonna go long but my mind wasn't set for it. Now I'm going to do something I've never done. Or I guess not anyone has done. Other than the exception of MrOnu in which I think did a 4C diary and a great work. I guess I'll give this promotion a shot and keep it going until its all in my head again. Anyways enjoy this to whoever reading.

In the world of Canadian Wrestling, there has only been two companies that had dominated the entire Canadian wrestling industry. And those two companies were the Canadian Golden Combat led by the legendary "Gorgeous" George Decolt and his kids who inherited his skills in the wrestling industry. And the other would none other than be North of The Border Pro Wrestling. Led by Dan Stone and his kids as well, these two companies were established as a result of the fall of a one company. After its owner had been found dead, both Stone & DeColt did not bother to keep the place going and somehow there came a feud in which who would take over the old man's company. Ed Henson. The legendary Canadian wrestler. The one who brought the wrestling industry to the Northern parts of the America (USA doesn't count!!!)

After Ed Henson died at 1989, the Canadian Wrestling Federation was his greatest creation as the aspects of traditional wrestling was shown to the Canadian fanbase. After his death, both George DeColt and Dan Stone did not know what to do. Despite no one to inherit the company since Ed didn't have any children, it was up to both DeColt and Stone to run the national powerhouse that Henson created many years ago.

But that wasn't the case. George DeColt had his mind dead set on planning to start his own promotion in which where anyone could shine. George had a dream to start his own promotion and someday leave CWF. With the help of a legend in the making Sam Keith build the promotion, his dream came true and CGC was born.

The remnants of CWF became of what is now North of the Border Pro Wrestling. Of course Dan Stone started this four years before the death of CWF. Dan Stone was a loyal man and never left the side of Ed Henson until the very end.

Both companies became the remnants of the great promotion called CWF. In the next 18 years, these two became only two promotions in the Canadian wrestling industry. Both company made their sons stars. Alex DeColt and Jeremy Stone became the head bookers of their father's promotions.

But if you think that the story of the Canadian wrestling industry ends in a battle for national overness between these two companies, there is one pursuing that dream as well.

Troy Winner, a midget out of no where set up his own company back at 1996. And he named it Canadian Charisma Championship Combat. Now you think this promotion went to a sudden burst? No. During the first 8 years of their survival, they were just this backyard small promotion that no one gave a crap about. But during the years of 2005 to 2008, Troy Winner saw a hungry group of wrestlers willing to sacrifice their bodies just to build a foundation for this career. And at 2007, they made it happen. Wrestlers like Jacob Jett, Joey Poison, Warren Technique, Barry Kingman and Sayeed Ali led a group of Canadian Independent wrestlers and made a very proud Troy Winner as they step up a level and rose up to where fans from Ontario and Quebec would recognize their talents.

4C. Short for Canadian Charisma Championship Combat made things happen as they showed a new breed of hardcore. Mixing together a taste for high flying action and hardcore based action, they call the product Underground Wrestling. How did it originated?? And how did 4C make their survival happen??

There has been no hardcore based promotion that lasted longer than 4C did as the critics would say but how did they do it??

The question is what are you willing to sacrifice to make it happen???

One hungry roster, all men and women ready to step up another level.

And here the games are played in a fast-paced, hard-hitting, blood-dripping action.

There is nothing to be seen like this such as 4C: Underground Wrestling.

No one expected him to come into the Canadian Wrestling Industry and just start up a promotion.

He is Troy Winner. And if you even dare to ask, he's a guy who can't go in a swimming pool minimum height of 4'0. Why??? Because he's only 3'8 ft tall, only weighs no more than 100 lbs and single. Why would he be single?? Because there ain't any other midgets that would dare to marry him. Sucks for this guy. With his 12 years of lonely life, this would probably the closest thing that he could have ever loved. His own company.

A 37 year old midget running a wrestling company in which he wanted it based off a lot of stuff back in the 90's wrestling of blood and war and now the modern action of wrestling that is seen today. And with his booker Joey Poison, he has never came into reaching a regional wrestling promotion in the Canada. Basically the only promotion that would reach regional since both the other bigger promotions started way on the cult level.

But why did Troy Winner start a wrestling promotion for bigger men when he could've started a promotion of his own kind?? A midget wrestling promotion full of midgets? Why wouldn't he? It would make lots of money. It may not overcome NOTBPW nor CGC but its worth investing his money.

So instead he starts a promotion. A promotion that first was filled of hardcore freaks. But as wrestling evolved, so did the company. When Joey Poison came in the booking, they have developed this concept called Underground Wrestling. Where everyone is welcome to try their talent and see if they fit their. Basically almost everyone did not fit but some wrestlers.

And those wrestlers are have their several style. Hard Hitters, High Flyers, Spot Monkeys, Hardcore Wrestlers and all round talent wrestlers.

It wasn't midget wrestling but it is another wrestling company. And soon Troy Winner filled it with wanna be kids, aerobic extremist and those who didn't learn to wrestle in a proper way learned in a violent way.

Troy Winner thought about ideas. But those ideas wouldn't have come to perfection and as well to life with the help of Joey Poison. And one of his ideas was the 187's. Another of his idea was the reign of Jacob Jett and Sayeed Ali in which got the promotion got them up to the next level.

At least it wasn't midget wrestling. That would've made some money but at the same time it would've went bankrupt quickly.

Troy Winner did the unexpected out of the midget society.

I was thinking that a few 4C diaries would show up following Adam's interview saying that it was one of his favorites.

Great company, interesting owner, awesome product... Where could you go wrong? :)

I hope this one has some traction! I'd love to read a long term (Well, I guess long term as in before the next game comes out) 4C Diary!

Best of luck!

Damn Mystery you start a new diary as much as I change my socks!:D

Seriously though, you know that I will be reading as well because I am a fan of your work.

Like what I have read so far keep it coming you have a reader in me!

TakerNGN74

Thanks for the support guys. TakerNGN74, you are probably the only one that can keep a NOTBPW go on long term. And BHK, you my favorite fan. :)

Good luck with this diary ! 4C is not easy, I gave up early while I was actually losing popularity with each show.

I saw and red why you gave up on your diary way too early its because there are some things you need to fix with the product and the wrestlers. I've ran pretty long game and hope to put it in life.

And this is where I come in.

It was before 4C rose up to the regional level of the canadian wrestling industry. And when he made a call, that was the same time Chris Flynn came into the wrestling industry. Those who have no clue, Chris Flynn is mostly known as "The Graduate". He got the nickname because he was the only wrestler that the Canadian Underground wrestling promotion had ever trained. First time graduate. But he wasn't the only one.

January 1, 2009.

It was just another normal day at my apartment. As the news was on, I left my television open for the whole night while drinking beer and eating $5 worth of food there is to be bought in a $5 bill.

Then the telephone rang. That woke me up and got me jumping out of my bed. Looking at the television, I had to turn it off. I couldn't find my phone but I had to track the voice. Being the person I am, I was one of those people that lose their stuff in just a snap. But the good thing about it is I could still fix the problem in me.

Chips were flying everywhere and I almost spilled my drink.

Then I tracked where I put my phone last night. It was at my pants.

I took it out and thankfully the phone was still ringing. I opened the phone and this is what I heard.

"Hey Ed! This is Troy Winner from 4c!!"

Troy Winner. The owner of Canadian Charisma Championship Combat.

More likely a mixture of a squeaky and deep voice, that's what he sounded like.

"Are you there?"

"Yeah I'm here."

"Listen Ed. Look at what I got for you. I got a new job for you kid."

"New job?"

"Yeah I got a little proposal for you kiddo!!!"

I couldn't hold myself in anger. He called me a kid. I'm taller than this guy so why the hell would he call me a kid?

"You want me to work for you is that it??"

"Yeah."

This was obvious. But the next wasn't.

"Ed, I want you to work for me......"

There was a moment there.

"As a booker of the promotion."

"Don't start with me. Is this a prank call??" I clearly suspected as no one would offer a job like this.

"What? This ain't no prank call kid. I'm damn serious. I heard you booked a couple of shows near the Canadian border and my men are interested where you could take them."

"Look you got the wrong guy."

"Ain't this Ed?"

"Look man there could be a lot of Eds at New York."

"New Yorker. Kid, come here at Ontario and I'll show you around."

"How much will you pay per show?"

"100 American dollar. Are you up for that??"

$100 dollars? Are you kidding? That is not even worth paying this apartment. Oh well.

"Higher."

"I can't go higher. Besides it'll be part time."

Part time booking job? Dammit. Fine.

Wow, I just had to wake up to know that I'll be booking the suckish promotion there is. A bunch of youngsters who won't be listening to a part time booker. Dammit this would another journey to hell.

So I'll be on the job of a regional promotion in an underground wrestling facility. Great. Now I gotta show up there in front of a 3 ft adult.

And here is where my journey to hell a starts.

I'll be interested to see how you do with this one. I've just started a non-diary 4C game and have no clue how to book it yet so I'll be looking for tips. It just suddenly struck me this week how 4C is an interesting promotion, known to be difficult, and that's maybe why it's never highly represented in the diary world. Hope you manage to change that! :)

Just a question so far to those who want to know more about the 4C roster: I've reserved a roster page and those who want to know how to work the roster, you want to add in some additional info as well or just leave it as is??

Thanks for your interest I'll need it.

There on a plane, I came from the grungy streets of New York to the ever so called the "Underground Alternative" promotion called Canadian Charisma Championship Combat. I'll tell you that the whole time I traveled on that plane was a complete mess. The plane itself had a little problem and the flight had to be postponed for about thirty minutes. Then we finally flew off New York. I'll be missing the place. Now the problem is this is a part time job. Oh well moving from the USA to the upper parts of North American called Canada couldn't be that bad. It should be a pretty good job. Or maybe not.

When I got to the airport, I got picked up by Troy's right hand man, Joey Poison. He was the head booker before now I'll be taking over his place. Sad for this man. I feel bad for him but its not his burden. I mean after all he wrestles for the company. According to Troy, Joey is the distant cousin of the innovator of the "Wrath of God" gimmick, Jack Giedroyc. It explains why he ended up at SWF because of his gimmick while Joey was busy rising a company and filling the minds of the wrestlers with determination. Jack had the talent and Joey had the mind. With unknown surname, its still unexplainable to this very day how did these two became distant cousin. But its a mystery that will be revealed someday in the future.

I sat in the front of the car along with Joey driving. He wasn't neither angry or upset with losing his job. Just like I had predicted.

"So how you liking it here?" Joey said with more likely a happy mood.

"Its sure is better than New York."

"You familiar of New York City Wrestling?"

Why would he ask a question unrelated to the job? New York City Wrestling?

"Well then. I'll be damned that Troy finally found a replacement."

"Why would he even want to replace you as the head booker?" I asked with no time to ask. "And I mean why would he?"

Then there was an answer so unique that no one would've came up with it.

"Yeah I wanted to get off the booking job because I'll be working double jobs sometime during the month."

Double jobs? Oh shoot. He didn't. If he was to talk about double jobs, it would be only working for another company. But which company would he be working for? He's not well known in the US? Or maybe, the big two. Shoot I could had figured it out earlier. But good reason to leave.

"Yeah are you familiar with George DeColt's Canadian Golden Combat?"

"Sure. The opposite of NOTBPW. Your gonna work for him?"

"I already told Troy about it and that's why he made the call to get you here."

"Great. Any other reason why I'm here?"

"No man. I believe that's my only reason."

Joey Poison would actually work for another company. How are we to make this happen??

"Here let me give you a little overview with what you'll be doing. Your good with booking right? I'm sure that won't be a problem. But your real problem here is what you are going to book. Well the overview here is that the roster that Troy set up for this year is a little more unique than what it had been at it start. Back at the start of the company, it was a wild promotion with hardcore wrestlers and it was just hardcore wrestlers. Overtime the roster changed and then came me. I changed the roster and made it into guys who can fly and at the same time hit really hard to make things real."

This is another one of those boring college lectures. But this one was interesting.

"And since Warren Technique ever came to the promotion, it was only him and Barry Kingman that knew technical aspects of wrestling. And Duberry Excess is learning as well. But most likely, its going to be a hard road for you Ed. I got your name... right?"

"Yeah."

"Great. You are looking at kids. They are young. And if I were you, keep it young. You want them to be your stars. One last recap here, we already got the shows named and scheduled so its up to you to make things happen man. I don't want to spoil the rest that Troy has to tell you."

Well that wasn't boring at all. That was information. Good thing I didn't have to learn any history or psychology. Finally.

Then going down on an underground road, we get to the facility of 4C. When they mean Underground, it is really an underground facility with a ring, a gym and many more. It wasn't 24 Hour Fitness but you get the idea of a more grungy wrestling facility.

"Good luck from here. You'll need it." commented Joey Poison as I opened the door.

Then there came the little rich man.

Oh my goodness. Its really underground. When I got down from the car, the facility was seriously underground. No one knew about this. It was like discovering the treasure island on a fantasy story about pirates trying to discover treasure. Finally I've become the pirate who found his gold and know he doesn't know what to do with it. This is just sad. I expected a little better but I guess that when Troy said Underground wrestling, its really Underground wrestling.

The facility itself was just another normal wrestling school. You couldn't say that however it had everything in one place. Everything that a wrestling promotion needs. A ring, gym, bikes, a lounge, office and anything else you can think of. Inside that ring is Chris Flynn. Yeah the Graduate learning a couple of tricks from the veteran Barry Kingman. And there they started wrestling in a specific old-school manner. Then on the gym we see the big guys working out like Sayeed Ali and Brett Fraser. I see another rookie in the name of Canadian Crusher bench pressing 350 pounds without any supporter. Pretty strong. And there is one of their main stars in the lounge, Jacob Jett hanging out with Darryl Devine and his girlfriend Katie Cameron.

Joey looked at the guys and just joined in the fun, managing the roster and turning it into a very welcomed place for me. Then Troy started heading towards me as he saw me come down that car door.

"How ya liking the place?" Troy said but know he sounded real. Deep voice with a little high there. The usual midget voice you would hear.

"So this is the facility. The locker room. This is literally where everything is going to happen??" I questioned the little guy.

"Ya. You gotta problem with that?"

"But why here when you could just buy your own damn building?"

"F*ck the building man. This place is way cheaper. Plus we only got a cash of $100,000 on our hands. I only rented this place for $100 a month. I can't afford a building."

"So we only got a $100,000 on our hands and you are saying that all this company has been through, this is how you are going to give your wrestlers a home?"

"Yep!"

He was crazy. But this was the home of the "Underground" Alternative of both CGC & NOTBPW combined.

"Look let me take you to my office." Troy said. Then from there on, I had to follow him. Kidding or not, he walked like the normal person. Only he walks a little faster since he takes double the steps as a normal person would.

So we go into his office. It was your normal promoter's office. It wasn't as big time as SWF or TCW's would probably be. Eisen and Cornell would be enjoying their lives in their office. But Troy didn't enjoy his.

"Coffee?" he offered.

"Sure." And there on I took a sip of the coffee.

"So let's talk business Ed. Yeah as you already knew we only have $100,000 on our bank. I don't want all of that to go to waste. I want money coming into the company and maybe sometime like you said we could have an improvement on our facility."

"I agree. By the way, don't they complain at all that the facility is underground?"

"Ohhh no Ed. They don't. Here we wrestle because we have determination to go big and if we want to go big, we need to take sacrifices."

Sacrifices??? That's not what Eisen did. But the case is that Eisen was already a millionare. Troy is a poor midget with barely any million on his hand.

"Alright that settles that." said Troy. Then he followed up. "As you may know Joey won't be leaving but he doesn't want the job anymore. That's why your here."

"Good he just told me that."

"Now I want to see us growing and moving forward. You can do anything with the schedule boy. You got all the control. But here let me warn you this. I'm a man you don't want to mess with. You make a mistake or if we even go down and fall, I'll sue your f*ck*n ass until you got nothing left."

What? Was that a threat?

"I'm just kidding." said Troy once more as he laughed this time. "Now figure this out, get along with the crowd and do your job kid!!!!!"

He kicked me out of my office. I can't believe that. Wasn't that pointless or just a hint that I need to work extra hard? Then Joey ran onto me. He said:

"How was it?"

"I can't describe it. Quick but rather threatening."

"Beginner's experience man. You'll get used to it."

Then he just left. What did that mean??

Oh well. Welcome to Underground Wrestling.

One of the first time to do this. I'm actually about to hire someone. Ain't this became a shocker. I've already heard that Darryl Devine had already left the roster looking for a better job. And the better job? CGC? NOTBPW? None of those hired him in a full time written contract. There were only two of his choices. Total Championship Wrestling or Supreme Wrestling Federation. Of course Cornell would take this guy but Eisen offered more money. We couldn't help it? We couldn't cheat and try to convince him to come back. But its just destiny. I hope he comes back someday.

"Good luck with this dump. I'm outta here!!!"

The last words he said to everyone's face before leaving the company. Before leaving this dump. I gotta agree with him. This place needs improvement. A couple of months and we'll be moving up to the class someday. Perhaps this guy would come back someday. Man I wished someday that SWF would fall. Though it'll never happen but the chances are pretty slim. Not that slim but the idea is out there in the air. As for TCW, who cares about those guys? So Cornell is the owner big whoop. Darryl Devine, I can't rant anything about him but wish him luck.

But hiring people. This could come easy or hard. I blame myself if I hired the wrong person. So I laid out a couple of cards, a beer bottle and I spun the bottle. There were four cards in the table. All of them are aces. If the bottle points at the Ace of Spades, I hire someone from Dan Stone's NOTBPW. If it points at the Ace of Diamonds, I hire someone from George DeColt's CGC. If it points at the Ace of Hearts, I'll hire someone from the American Indy circuit. And it doesn't matter which promotion but I just can't hire anyone from USPW. Because face it, I'll only be interested if they have someone better than that stupid 'should've been a bodyguard' monster named T-Rex. And I don't want guys like Al The Hillibilly or his cousin. And when it hits the Ace of Flowers, I hire someone who is unemployed or working outer the North America. My rule of hiring. And if I hire the wrong person, I blame the bottle!!!!

So here I go. I spun the bottle. And it pointed between the Ace of Spades and Hearts. Crap. Spin again and now its between the Ace of Flowers and Diamonds.

The time passed by and as I was watching television in my office and kept spinning the bottle, then it hit Ace of Hearts. I got my first choice. Then I brought my laptop and I came across with a promotion I'm fairly familiar with. The Coastal Zone Championship Wrestling. They got pretty talented workers and I probably came across one good talent that is worth to keep. Matt Sparrow.

Then time passed by once more. It hits the Ace of Flowers. I needed a road agent. Grant Truman wasn't working keeping around. I can't keep him no more. As I heard that he was hurting the company image some time during '04 and that kept them moving up to where they are now. So I came across with a new guy. If I'm going to be brought here in Canada and then so will be this guy: Duncan Kendall.

Then again hits the Ace of Flowers. Who could I think of? I needed a replacement for Darryl. He was a big loss and I needed to fill in that void. Along the way Joey told me a wrestler named Air Attack Weasel. He told me what a great wrestler he is as he is a former tennis player. Wrestling could be his only life. And know he made it a mastery. Being the best at his basics, safety and selling points, he was one to watch out. He worked back here and bringing him back would be a good idea and it would fill in the hole that Devine left.

Three Ace of Flowers in a row. And this time, I needed a charismatic person. Then I met this guy. What was his name? Oh yeah. Mr. Slick Pimp Daddy. Assassin #2. A former team mate of NYCW's Coyote Dynamite. You'll never guess. But its him. Ernie Turner!!

Then finally the streak broken. Once hit the Ace of Diamonds. And the other, the Ace of Spades. It was up to me. I'll leave it as a surprise to myself and Troy Winner. But those who I had in mind, I'm sure that Troy and I will have to agree on it.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to The Underground Alternate. I'm Terry Smith and here is why we are called the Underground Alternative of Canadian Pro Wrestling.

For over ten years, we here at the Canadian Charisma Championship Combat has been all about action. We have been about action that none of you would have ever seen in the wrestling industry of Canada. We are the only ones who had done this I'll tell you man we've been survivors. For more than ten years, we are the only hardcore promotion to ever survive in more than ten years.

You critics everywhere think we were closer on our caskets well we've proved you wrong when we took our game to another level. And look at what we've got us. More fans. That's right. We've managed to go over there and step another level. We survive for another ten and we'll be kicking the arses of Sports Entertainment companies. Count on that my friends.

Another thing. We are called an "Underground Alternative" because we are one of the brash young wrestlers who are looking to prove that it doesn't matter how you wrestle but you just to prove yourself to be a star. Look at the stars that had been made in the past. Sayeed Ali. Jacob Jett. And Joey Poison. And I'll tell you there are more than that to come. We aren't just hardcore. But we are hard hitting, fast paced action!!

So wrestling fans. And even wrestlers. In doesn't matter what kind of style you like or you watch. It doesn't matter if you are a young sports entertainment loving fan. Air Attack Weasel & Matt Sparrow vs. Thunder & Lightning

This is a tough one. On the one hand, Thunder and Lightning kinda suck, but on the other, they're an experienced tag team. Still, you bought in Weasel & Sparrow to make an impact, so you might as well give them a win here

Hardcore Killah vs. Frankie Dee

Killah's on the way out, whilst Dee's a very promising young talent

Canadian Crusher vs. Phenomenal E

Crusher isn't worth bothering with, whilst E's pretty cool

Barry Kingman vs. Davis Wayne Newton

Newton is awesome, but at this stage you don't want to devalue your main event. Kingman's also pretty good, so it's not like you're wasting Newton either

Brett Fraser © vs. "NOTBPW Wrestler"

I for one am interested to see who you bring in

"Main Event Steel Cage Match For The 4C Championship

Jacob Jett vs. Sayeed Ali ©

Ali's a solid champion, and there's no point having him drop it straight off

Far better workers and I believe more over

Hardcore Killah vs. Frankie Dee

Killah is over the hill and Frankie Dee is the future

Canadian Crusher vs. Phenomenal E

Crusher needs time to develop and Big E is current tag team champ.

Barry Kingman vs. Davis Wayne Newton

Newton will move up sooner rather than later but still not against your Main Event guy right away.

4C Hardcore Championship Match

Brett Fraser © vs. "NOTBPW Wrestler"

Debuting wrestler wins, maybe Omar Brown but I still prefer calling him Dog Fyte.

"Main Event Steel Cage Match For The 4C Championship

Jacob Jett vs. Sayeed Ali ©

Jett is the obvious choice to carry your company but Sayeed Ali has all the potential to do the same and I hate seeing the champ lose the belt on day one unless you know he's leaving the company (I'm looking at you James Prudence)

Air Attack Weasel & Matt Sparrow vs. Thunder & Lightning

Tough call. T&L is an established tag team, but they are more like a project in term of wrestling quality. AAW and Sparrow already have a good level of skills and could be potentiel great opponents for someone like Phenomenal E.

Hardcore Killah vs. Frankie Dee

The less time Killah spends in the ring, the better it is. He's THAT bad. Well, using him in a tag team to spread his good performance can be useful or as the outside the ring enforce for the Crew. Single action ? Not so much!

Canadian Crusher vs. Phenomenal E

Random note : E is a known steroïds user. Not much you can do about it, just pray it doesn't backfire in your face in the middle of a push. Crusher is another project. He can get over thanks to his menace and star quality, but his performance skills absolutely suck and he will be crapped on by the crowd for quite some time. Anyway, Larkins is a good wrestler to have around and has decent popularity.

Barry Kingman vs. Davis Wayne Newton

As 1PWFan mentionned, DWN is good, but Kingman is a solid main eventer for your company and you don't want to to ruin him in the first month. You better have a good surprise wrestler or this match will clearly outshine you co-main event ;)

4C Hardcore Championship Match

Brett Fraser © vs. "NOTBPW Wrestler"

I kinda like Fraser. He's a good hardcore asset, good menace skill and okay performance skills. A decent midcarder to have around. I hope the guest wrestler is Omar Brown. He has a ****ty attitude, but he has the right tools to be a great player in 4C

"Main Event Steel Cage Match For The 4C Championship

Jacob Jett vs. Sayeed Ali ©

Even though Jett is an amazing wrestler, I prefer to see champions retaining in the beginning of a diary. Barring a chemistry issue, I foresee these two going at it for a couple of months since Ali is no slouch either.

Air Attack Weasel & Matt Sparrow vs. Thunder & Lightning

If they don't have any chemistry issues Weasel & Sparrow could make for a decent addition to the Tag ranks, Thunder & Lightning on the other hand are position on the rung on the ladder that says jobber.

Hardcore Killah vs. Frankie Dee

Dee has the potential to make an impact in this promotion, Killah on the other hand is flat out terrible.

Canadian Crusher vs. Phenomenal E

I can just see the 4C fans really laying into Crusher with 'You can't wrestle !' chants. If this was a sports entertainment promotion, Phenomenal E would be fed to the 'monster', as it's a fed that apparently prides itself on work-rate...Crusher's there to job to the guy with talent.

Barry Kingman vs. Davis Wayne Newton

DWN is already at this stage the best all round talent on the promotion, but Kingman is established in the main event and he probably should win here. Plus by not 'god pushing' Newton right from the start, you may be able to hold off the big boys from sniffing around and you may be able to keep him round for longer.

4C Hardcore Championship Match

Brett Fraser © vs. NOTBPW Wrestler

This depends on who the NOTBPW wrestler is and whether or not he's just there as talent trade. As this match is in the semi main event slot, I see the NOTBPW mystery dude making an instant impact.

"Main Event Steel Cage Match For The 4C Championship

Jacob Jett vs. Sayeed Ali ©

Unless the wrestler (s) holding the belt is/are awful or about to leave for new pastures then it's normally the de-facto move to keep the belt on the wrestler holding the title at the beginnignof the game.

Weasel and Sparrow just have more talent and overness

Hardcore Killah vs. Frankie Dee

I really wish people would stop hating on Hardcore Killah, the guy has some of the best performance skills for an American indie guy in the game. He can actually bust out some good matches if asked to. Nevertheless Dee is on the rise and shall go over here

Canadian Crusher vs. Phenomenal E

One half of the Tag Champs to leave no doubt here

Barry Kingman vs. Davis Wayne Newton

DWN needs to build his overness yet

4C Hardcore Championship Match

Brett Fraser © vs. "NOTBPW Wrestler"

"Lethal like a Razor" Brett Fraser will hold the gold for atleast a few shows before dropping it, despite what NOTBPW guy might come his way

mainly because I think you're going to try and mega-push DWN into the spotlight

Brett Fraser © vs. "NOTBPW Wrestler" (but Brett retains)

I'm guessing it's Derek Frost. Anyway any of the worthwhile NOTBPW hires are far more popular then Brett and so this initial win will establish them as main event caliber.

His stamina is atrocious I think he can barely go above 10 minutes without tiring out and I'm pretty sure all of his performance skills have gone down since 2007. In 2007 I used to use him all the time to train up younger guys but now I usually just wait out his contract. There are far better, younger and more talented in both performance and in ring American Indie workers than Hardcore Kilah.

Nice start for the newcomers, whether they stay in the tag ranks or go singles

Hardcore Killah vs. Frankie Dee

This one isn't in doubt...I don't think

Canadian Crusher vs. Phenomenal E

Crusher is a big, menacing dude. E has some talent. I'll go with the talented one.

Barry Kingman vs. Davis Wayne Newton

I'd imagine Kingman will be lined up to challenge Ali shortly

4C Hardcore Championship Match

Brett Fraser © vs. "NOTBPW Wrestler"

I'm struggling to think of a NOTBPW that would come in and lose to Fraser. The likes of Frost or Omar Brown are more likely to go into your main event if you bring them in. I think it'll be someone like Jason O'Conner and he'll lose.

I agree with what others have said - I don't see Ali dropping the belt at the first hurdle as he's decent enough

Ali is one of the most overlooked guys in Cornellverse, he's actually really good, especially for a promotion like/size of 4C. Jett will leave you eventually, as will DWN.
