Damn you, Angel!!!

Samoan Destruction Inc. vs. The People's Team

SDI's gotta work up to defeat this team.

Non Title: Belle Bryden vs. April Appleseed

Majority vote here.

Peter Valentine vs. Steve Flash

PV is slowly going down the card and the world is a better place for it.

Tyson Baine vs. Java

Poor Java.

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Art Reed

I missed it I think but is Reed going to TCW/SWF? He would have been great as a long-time TV champ.

Jack Griffith vs. Enygma

Gotta keep the masked man strong.

Non Title: Fumihiro Ota vs. Sammy Bach

Probably by DQ

Awesome entrance from Teddy! Great show as always, my friend.

USPW World Television Title Match: Darryl Devine defends vs. Jared Johnson

Devine's doing Mighty Fine at the moment...sigh!

Samoan Destruction Inc. vs. The People's Team

Easily the toughest match of the card, but your debutants tend not to win their opening matches...though I'll likely be wrong this time :D

Non Title: Belle Bryden vs. April Appleseed

Were this anyone else I would contemplate a challenger victory before the PPV but Appleseed's not going anywhere near the top of the division.

Peter Valentine vs. Steve Flash

We've not seen Valentine for a while, and if he hasn't said he's retired already it won't be far off.

Tyson Baine vs. Java

Give Baine some momentum for PPV.

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Art Reed

Art Reed's initial push seems to have dwindled - another Touring contract perhaps? Gonzalez is the man at the minute so should be an easy win.

Jack Griffith vs. Enygma

Momentum is king.

Non Title: Fumihiro Ota vs. Sammy Bach

I don't think Bach will walk out of here of his own volition but a loss wouldb't do him any good at all.

Excited for Powell/Bach's storyline

Glad to hear it. I am kinda looking forward to showing everyone how it plays out. The roster is definitely getting a little bloated but that's alright because I am gonna have a place for everyone.

Awesome entrance from Teddy! Great show as always, my friend.

Glad you enjoyed the entrance by Teddy and thanks for the alt. He's been on my roster for about a month before he debuted. As always you do amazing work with these alts.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Attendance: 4,533

Overall Rating: B-

TV Rating: 2.37

This show can be considered a success, it should have increased our popularity.

Pre Show: In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, James Justice defeated Nicky Champion in 5:45 by pinfall with a Liberation Slam...B-

Pre Show: In an extremely short match, Henry Lee defeated Travis Force in 4:14 by pinfall with an Asylum Buster...D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

[The show begins up in McGaw arena in the Tri State area. The crowd are on their feet! 4,533 jam-packed and ready for some USPW action! The camera pans around seeing fans holding up signs: 'The guy next to me is not wearing pants!' and 'Who books this crap?!'...

'I am a real American.

Fight for the rights of every man.

I am a real American.

Fight for what's right

Fight for your life!'...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SamStrong.jpg

[...The crowd roars their approval as USPW Owner Sam Strong steps out from behind the curtain! Strong high fives the crowd as he walks up the aisle. A 'USPW' chant breaks out through the crowd. Sam enters the ring and is given a microphone. He looks around at all the cheering fans...]

Sam Strong

"First of all, thank you for coming out to this USPW American Wrestling show. We are truly nothing without all you wonderful fans."

[...The cheer erupts even louder...]

Sam Strong

"With that being said, I would like to turn my attention to a group that has been running roughshod over many USPW wrestlers: The Hard Corps. Listen up, brothers. Your time of running the show is over. You will no longer be allowed to come out here and attack my wrestlers, dudes. So what I would like to do is I'd like to bring out the leader of this group of ruffians so we can meet face-to-face."

[...Sam waits in the center of the ring looking toward the entrance. Without fanfare or music, Eric Tyler pushes open the curtain and walks toward the ring but he is not alone...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/EricTyler.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShawnGonzalez_jhd.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JDMorgan.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JackGriffith.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/LarryWood_alt.jpg

[...With him is the entire group of Hard Corps! Sam moves back against the ropes and then moves to the center of the ring as the ring is surrounded. Eric Tyler and Shawn Gonzalez are on one side, JD Morgan is on another, Jack Griffith is on the third and that mysterious masked man is taking up the fourth position. Eric is given a microphone...]

Eric Tyler

"Sam, we considered your words. You are the Owner of this company. You deserve respect in that position."

[...Eric nodded and all of the Hard Corps climbed up on the apron looking toward Sam Strong...]

Eric Tyler

"Allow us to give you our answer."

[...Eric tosses away the microphone and stands there with his men. He looks right toward Sam Strong and then he nods. All of the Hard Corps hit the ring! Sam throws some punches fighting off Jack Griffith but he gets grabbed from behind by JD Morgan and Shawn Gonzalez gets the first blow on him to the gut! Punches are thrown by all of the Hard Corps, bringing Sam Strong down to the ground. Once Sam falls to the ground, stomps are made with Eric Tyler guiding his group! JD and Jack pull Sam up and whip him toward the mysterious masked man -- Running Big Foot! Sam hits the mat hard! JD Morgan picks him up -- Cross Atlantic Stretch! This is the move that put Chris Caulfield on the shelf! Sam cries out in pain, yelling at JD Morgan. Eric Tyler walks over and slaps Sam across the face! Eric throws a punch! JD releases and Sam crumples to the mat. Eric points toward the fallen Sam Strong and Shawn Gonzalez walks over -- Latino Crab! Shawn Gonzalez stretches Sam Strong back with his Latino Crab! Sam tries to fight back but he is going under. The pain is just too much for the 63 year old USPW Owner. Sam Strong stops moving as Shawn Gonzalez wrenches back on the hold. Boos echo in from this crowd! Jack Griffith throws a stomp down on Sam Strong's head. Eric Tyler smiles and motions for Gonzalez to release. The Hard Corps stand in the center of the ring and Gonzalez extends his arms out in a cross-like fashion. Another sacrifice for the Hard Corps.]

USPW World Television Title Match

Darryl Devine defends vs. Jared Johnson

['Take Me Out' by Franz Ferdinand begins to play as Jared Johnson stretches inside the ring. The USPW World Television Champion 'Mighty Fine' Darryl Devine is led out to the ring by his manager Seduction. Darryl pauses in front of a fan who holds up their sign: 'Darryl is a Devine Loser!' Darryl pushes the fan back and grabs the sign shredding it in his hands. Security steps in quickly as Devine laughs and turns toward the ring. Seduction moves into the corner as Darryl slides into the ring. He hands the belt to the referee and then rushes over, attacking Jared Johnson to start the match...]

[...Devine took the early advantage and this was a pretty short match. Jared Johnson actually showed some skill in this match, having the advantage for about a minute though Devine was mostly dominant in this match. The distraction by Seduction took Johnson off his game when he had the advantage. Devine kicked him in the gut -- Devine Dream Drop! The USPW World Television Champion made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Darryl Devine (Via Pinfall @ 4:24)

[...Travis Force is standing by and waiting...]

Travis Force

"Last week, Jim, last week I told you that I would be bringing forth my acolytes. I would be bringing forth those women from Parts Unknown that I have met. They are worshippers of the one, of the true leader of the Force."

[...Two female figures walked forth, one standing one each side of Travis Force...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DevilsDaughter_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Vixxen.jpg

[...The two of them looked toward the camera and released a little growl...]

Travis Force

"Jim, you cannot resist the power of my Force. Come to the darkside. Come to my side."

[...Travis smiled and ran his fingers through both girl's hair and we headed back to the ring.]

Samoan Destruction Inc. vs. The People's Team

[both teams were in the ring and just received their introductions. The crowd was surprised by the arrival of Blonde Bombshell within the corner of The People's Team. A fan held up a sign: 'Jim Force for President!' Rhino Umaga and Samoan Machine took an early advantage but this match was mostly dominated by The People's Team to no one's surprise. At the end of the match, Freddie Datsun hit Samoan Machine with the Patriot Press. He made a cover as Rhino Umaga entered the ring: 1 -- 2 -- Quarterback Sack by Des Davids to stop Rhino -- 3!]

Winners: The People's Team (Via Pinfall @ 3:51)

Match Rating: C-

[...The People's Team rose up and raised their arms in victory. But this was short-lived as they were attacked from behind...]

[...Shane Sneer led the assault by The Towers of Power. Des Davids was tossed out of the ring and the Towers focused their attack on Freddie Datsun. Danny Rushmore pulled Datsun in and lifted him up in a power bomb position. Mick Muscles grabbed him in a neckbreaker and they completed the double team. Datsun was left laying on the mat as The Towers walked off. Blonde Bombshell came in and checked on him as well as Des Davids.]

['Look in my eyes

What do you see?

I know your anger, I know your dreams

I've been everything you want to be

Oh, I'm the Cult of Personality!'

The crowd cheered for the opening theme music for the USPW World Champion...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SammyBach_SlowRide.jpg

[...Sammy Bach came in from the back with the title belt around his waist. Sammy walked toward the ring and stepped inside. He was given a microphone...]

Sammy Bach

"First of all, thank you for the warm reception here in the McGaw Arena!"

[...Cheap pop...]

Sammy Bach

"But I have come out here for one reason and one reason only: Teddy Powell. Teddy and I have a long recorded history with each other. We were once a part of the hottest tag team in the history of professional wrestling: Adrenaline Rush. But we had a falling out after I moved on to another company and they didn't want Teddy. Teddy, I am coming out here to let bygones be bygones. I would like you to come out to the ring right now so that I can thank you for saving me in person."

[...A pause and no one comes out. Sammy paces around the ring for a moment. He looks around still waiting and a spotlight shines within the rafters...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TeddyPowell_jhdA.jpg

[...Teddy Powell can be seen looking down from the rafters in silence. He crosses his arms over his chest and just stares down at Sammy Bach...]

Sammy Bach

"Teddy, thank you."

[...Sammy nodded up to him and dropped the microphone. He moved and exited the ring as Teddy disappeared within the rafters once again and the spotlight turned off.]

Belle Bryden vs. April Appleseed

[both females were within the ring as we came back to action. This wasn't exactly the best match in the world. Luckily, it only lasted 1:37. That wasn't even enough time for one person to go and use the restroom or buy some concessions. Belle hit April with the Dish of the Day and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Belle Bryden (Via Pinfall @ 1:37)

Match Rating: D+

Peter Valentine vs. Steve Flash

[Another definite squash match here tonight. Peter Valentine has definitely gone downhill this year in USPW. Steve Flash and Katie Cameron's entrance was almost as long as this match. Flash dominated though he and Valentine didn't click in the ring making this match a whole lot of fun. Flash finished off Valentine with a botched Flash Bang and a pinfall: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Tyson Baine vs. Java

[sQUASH! Another no-surprise squash here tonight as the top contender to the USPW World Title took apart the member of Savage Fury. Baine took down Java with a big boot and then grabbed Java around the throat -- Hades Bomb! Baine put a boot on the chest of Java: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Tyson Baine (Via Pinfall @ 1:35)

Alicia Strong

"Yeah, he's in what hospital? Yeah, I'll be there as soon as possible. Thanks."

[...Alicia nodded to herself and drew in a breath as she looked up toward the camera there...]

Alicia Strong

"I was going to use this time to challenge Belle Bryden for the USPW Women's Title so consider the challenge made. But I have to go."

[...Alicia packed her duffel bag and moved out of the locker room to go and check on her father in the hospital.]

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Art Reed

['You gotta keep 'em seperated.'

'Come Out And Play' by The Offspring began to play as the curtains parted. Eric Tyler brought out Shawn Gonzalez. Gonzalez hit the ring and walked over to his corner sliding down in the corner and watching the entrance...

'Respect, walk

What did you say?

Respect, walk

Are you talking to me? Are you talking to me?'

'Walk' by Pantera began to play and Art Reed came out alone this week. Apparently, Blonde Bombshell just jumped ship to The People's Team? Reed played to the crowd but they booed him. Apparently there are enough people within the crowd who realize he is leaving. Reed entered the ring and came face-to-face with Shawn Gonzalez...]

[...With those who knew that Art Reed was leaving, was it any surprise that Shawn Gonzalez was dominant within this match? Gonzalez focused his attention on the back of Reed, lifting him up and dropping him with a stiff power bomb. Gonzalez kept ahold of the legs and turned Reed over -- Latino Crab! Gonzalez sat down on the hold and Reed struggled but he had no choice but to submit.]

Winner: Shawn Gonzalez (Via Submission @ 7:08)

Match Rating: C

[...Shane Sneer is standing beside USPW's resident ninja Fumihiro Ota...]

Shane Sneer

"Enygma, enjoy your matches here within USPW while you can. Tonight, you are going to go down to one Sneer Corporation member and then at USPW United States Of Pain, you are going to fall to this man right here. You were lucky last month to defeat this man but it won't happen again. Speaking of losing to this man, tonight we get a chance to defeat the man who is known as the USPW World Heavyweight Champion. He is enjoyed by each and every one of you humanoids but he is nothing compared to this man. Ota is going to walk away with some momentum and a victory tonight. Sneer Corporation's stock is on the rise and it's just going to get higher and higher."

[...Sneer pats Ota on the shoulder and walks off. Ota just looks at the camera for a few more moments before he moves to follow.]

Jack Griffith vs. Enygma

['One Bourbon, One Scotch And One Beer'

The titled song by George Thurogood begins to play as Eric Tyler walks out of the curtain along with Jack Griffith. Southern Justice is booed on his way to the ring. He climbs in and gets some last minute instructions from Eric Tyler as the lights dimmed...

'You know where you are

You're in the jungle baby

You're gonna die

In the jungle

Welcome to the jungle'

'Welcome To The Jungle' brought the crowd to their feet as the spotlights shone around the building trying to find a certain area. The crowd was looking around for him as well and the spotlights finally found him up high in the crowd! He turned and pointed to the sign beside him: 'Enygma True Southern Justice....' Enygma stepped through the crowd being patted on the shoulder and on the side. He got down to the bottom and leaped the guardrail. He looked up toward the ring and then turned -- clothesline by Eric Tyler! Eric puts the boots to him before the bell sounds and then tosses him into the ring!...]

[...Griffith dropped an elbow on Enygma and then drove knees into his ribs! The crowd booed as Southern Justice pulled up Enygma -- Jack in The -- NO! Enygma was able to get out of it! He got behind Griffith and wrapped his arms around his waist -- German Suplex! It connected and Griffith held the back of his neck. Enygma got up and grabbed the leg of Griffith, dropping an elbow on it. He stretched out the leg but Griffith would not submit this quickly. Enygma released after about thirty seconds and got to his feet. He pulled Griffith to a vertical base and Griffith grabbed him and tossed him through the ropes outside the ring. Griffith dropped for a moment and pointed to his leg. He got the referee's attention as Eric Tyler moved over and drove a knee to the ribs of Enygma! Eric threw Enygma against the guardrail rib-first! The referee turned and began a count on the former World Champion. Enygma got back in the ring at the count of 8. Griffith picked up Enygma and dropped him on his knee with a backbreaker. He dropped him and made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout!...]

[...At around the 6 minute mark, Enygma fought out of a reverse chinlock, bringing Griffith down with a belly to back suplex. Both men lie on the mat and referee Baby Jamie began the ten count. Eric Tyler yelled at Southern Justice to get to his feet! Both men started to get up around the same time. Enygma struck out at his leg with a bit of a football tackle! Enygma turned and grabbed the leg of Griffith -- Enygma Variation! Enygma got his finisher on Griffith and it didn't take long for Griffith to tap!]

Winner: Enygma (Via Submission @ 8:26)

Non Title

Fumihiro Ota vs. Sammy Bach

['Standing strong together

Marching forever on

Fire in the heavens

Now that our time has come!'

The crowd boos as 'Strike of the Ninja' by DragonForce begins to play. The curtains part and out from the back walks Shane Sneer. He points and Fumihiro Ota comes out wearing that mask where only his eyes could be seen. Ota leaped onto the top turnbuckle when he got to the apron and then leaped down. Ota leaned over and got some last minute advice from Shane Sneer...

'Look in my eyes

What do you see?

The Cult of Personality!

I know your anger, I know your dreams

I've been everything you want to be

Oh, I'm the Cult of Personality!'

'Cult of Personality' by Living Colour begins to play and the crowd begins to sing along with the music! Sammy Bach steps out from behind the curtains with the USPW World Heavyweight Title belt around his waist. Bach pauses about halfway down to the ring and points toward a sign: 'Sammy Bach Rocks!' He looks to the fan and is handed a pen. He signs the sign and highfives the fan. Then, Bach charges down toward the ring and climbs the turnbuckles. He backflips back into the ring and turns to face Ota. Ota charges...]

[...Bach ducks a roundhouse kick and sweeps the leg of Ota. Bach bounces off the ropes and rolls forward but Ota moves and Bach just lands on his feet. Ota turns and strikes Bach with a thigh kick. USPW World Television Title Match: Darryl Devine defends vs. James Hernandez

Mighty fine title reign in the works here, lol.

Jack Griffith vs. KC Glenn

Griffith has that "stable" aura on him so he won't really be alone facing KC Glenn. Win by distraction or Larry Wood just showing his face, lol.

Giant Redwood vs. Andre Jones

Sorry Lexa90, Jones is chopping this hunk of untalented wood down!

Anger vs. Steve Flash

Anger is an old jobber now.

Samoan Destruction Inc. vs. Johnny Martin and Henry Lee

Two hardcore legends against Samoans. I see a headbutt spot coming on!

Devil's Daughter vs. Alicia Strong

Gotta keep your future baby mama happy. :D

James Justice vs. Des Davids

Des is good but Justice is GOD~! in USPW.

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Enygma

"Stable" aura rears its ugly head here.

*Draws in a deep breath* Alright, this may be one of the more difficult things that I have ever done though not as difficult as I thought it would be. This diary in and of itself has been the most successful diary that I have ever written, both in posts/feedback and in views. In 8 days, it will have gone for 6 months including the backstory. But, honestly, I am burned out. You might have noticed that I recently stopped posting the backstory and that the last card was not as detail-written as it normally has been. There is a reason for this. I feel like writing less and less and when this becomes more work than fun then I know it is time to step away.

For those of you who have never written a diary before, it can take up a ton of time and a ton of time within your mind. I will admit that when I go to bed at night I lay up at times thinking about the diary and the storylines that I am making. People often talked about the speed with which I write the shows. That's because the diary takes up just about all of my free time, which is a lot since I am unemployed right now.

So, what I am saying is that I am bringing this diary and my NWA diary to a close. I am stepping away from the diary scene for an undetermined amount of time. When/If I come back, I am planning on starting fresh within the diary scene. Whether it's real world or cornellverse I cannot be sure.

I would like to say thank you to jhd1 for his alt work that has really helped to make this USPW diary special. He has also been a constant source of inspiration for me. We have had many pm's back and forth throughout the length of this diary.

I would also like to thank certain constant readers who have been with me for the long haul, including Lexa90, jhd1, BHK1978 and critical-23.

I would like to thank anyone and everyone who has posted or even just read this diary. You are all a constant source of inspiration for me.

Sad to see this go, but i totally understand about burn out. And we all know great diary writers will be back eventually, Eisen-verse is a great example, and I eagerly await your return!:D

Disappointed TBH that I will never see where you'd go regarding Bach/ Powell but this was a great diary and I can't blame you for being burned out after all the great storylines you've been chucking at us, this was a very good diary and I'd love to see a final post of where things were going regards storylines

Sad to see another good diary coming to an end, but I fully understand about the burnout, having gone through it a couple times myself during my years here.

Honestly what works for me the best now is never spending more than 2 hours at a time writing stuff up, and making sure I am doing other things or playing other games alongside this so I don't feel like this is consuming all my time.

While it means I don't post shows as rapidly as I used to, I still usually get one up a week and some backstory or filler post every couple of days. But I find that limiting the amount of time a session I actually spend writing ( thinking about it is another matter, no way to stop doing that all day ;) ) makes it easier to not get totally turned off by it. Shows still take 4-5 hours to write at times, but doing it in 3-4 sessions means it isn't burning me out in one shot.

Enjoy your respite from writing, recharge your batteries and interest, and come back if and when you feel like it. We will still be here. :D

This is basically the only dynasty that I read each time that there is an update. I am very sad to see this go, but I understand. I can't even get through one show of a dynasty before getting burned out! :D

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am glad to know that this diary sparked so much interest within it. As I said earlier, I think this is one of the best diaries, if not the best diary that I have ever written here on the GDS forums. It is definitely the longest-lasting. ;)

As far as future plans go, I didn't make too many future plans perse, especially during months where the prediction contest was up. I would basically book pay-per-view to pay-per-view. But with that being said there were a few future plans that I came up with that would have gone forward as long as people weren't stripped from me by one of the bigger feds. I will write a note here soon detailing those future plans.

I'm another that hates to see this one go...I looked forward to tuning in each show and the PPV's were excellent, but I understand about burn out. I had to leave the forums for 2 years. Good luck to you on the job front...and we'll leave a light on for you when you come on back....

the future ideas would be great....

thanks again for a good diary

It's been a masterpiece throughout my friend, and a huge inspiration for my own (albeit short-lived) diary as you know. Slow Ride has been a lot of fun, and I'm sure you'll be back stronger than ever :p

Thanks for the read, angeldelayette.
