Canadian Golden Combat Presents Title Bout Wrestling

Thursday Week 4, July 2010

Hello once again CGC Wrestling fans Terry Smith with you once again to talk about some of the things that you can expect to see should you attend CGC’s Title Bout Wrestling live this Sunday night. This week’s edition will be held from the Varsity Arena in Ontario Canada and here are some of the matches that you can expect to see.

In the first match of the night, one half of the new CGC World Tag Team Champions Ricky DeColt will step into the ring with former CGC World Champion Ed Monton. Will Ricky be able to win and build some momentum for him and Alex or will Ed pull out the win and put a damper on The DeColt’s recent title victory?

In the second match of the evening, one half of the former tag team champions Fate goes one on one with Jack DeColt. Will Jack be able to pull out the win even though the news broke that he will be leaving the company or will Fate be able to capitalize on this current news and do whatever he can do to cause Jack to lose the match?

In the third match of the night in a non title match current number one contender for the CGC World Title Trent Shaffer steps into the ring to go one on one with the current CGC Canadian Champion Joey Poison. Will Trent be able to keep his momentum going into the next pay per view or will Joey win the match and put a stop on Trent’s momentum.

In the co-main event, Alex DeColt takes on Bobby Thomas, there is no doubt that Bobby will try and do everything he can to make sure that Alex doesn’t win this match. Will Alex be able to overcome everything that Bobby has to throw at him in order to score the win or will Bobby pull out the upset on the owner of the company?

Finally in the main event, stable mates Nate Johnson and Eddie Chandler go one on one for the CGC World Heavyweight Championship. Will Nate be able to dethrone Eddie Chandler and capture the CGC World Heavyweight Title or will Eddie manage to win the match and make another successful title defense.

All this and so much more will happen this Sunday night live from the Varsity Arena in Ontario Canada, be sure to be on hand live to witness this great night of wrestling action. For those of you who can’t make it out to the arena this Sunday be sure to catch us live on Maple Leaf Sports. CGC Title Bout Wrestling

Sunday, Week 4, July 2010

Varsity Arena (Ontario) – 2,000

Shown Live on Maple Leaf Sports

[To start off the show, Eddie Chandler makes his way down to the ringside area he takes a microphone before getting in the ring. He gets into the ring via the top and middle ropes and then goes to the center and begins to speak.]

Eddie Chandler: “Nate Johnson, get out here we have some business to take care of.”

[With that said Nate Johnson’s music starts playing over the sound system in the arena as Nate Johnson makes his presence felt on the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand.]

Nate Johnson: “You know what Eddie you might think your safe in the match tonight being that it is against me and that we are both in the Elite together. However I am starting to finally realize why you need Dan DaLay and myself and Shooter Sean Deeley when he was here and that was to protect your ass. You see all along you were saying that we were family and that nothing could come between us, tonight I am letting that CGC World Heavyweight Championship come between us. You see the only reason you are the current holder of the CGC World Title is because we stood by and let it happen.”

Eddie: “Alright I can see where you are coming from what do you say we do this, if you win not only will you be the CGC World Heavyweight Champion but you will also become the new leader."

Nate: “Go on.”

Eddie: “But if no not if when I win things will go back to the way they used to be with the three of us Dan, yourself and myself three guys as a cohesive unit. We won’t let anything else get in our way we will focus on one thing and one thing only and that is taking over the entire Canadian Golden Combat. You see Nate I have plans for you, you see I look at things a bit different than you and Dan both do because I am the leader and I have to look out for not only me but you both as well. So what I am suggesting to you is tonight we have this match and whoever comes out the winner of the match will be the CGC World Heavyweight Champion and they will also be the leader of the Elite. So what do you say if you win you not only become the CGC World Heavyweight Champion but also the leader of the Elite but if I win then things will stay exactly how they are right now.”

Nate: “That works for me Eddie I will see you in the ring tonight and after tonight’s match there will be a changing of the guard in the Elite and CGC.”

Terry Smith sits down with Chris Kaladaro after the latest edition of CGC Title Bout Wrestling

Terry Smith: “Hello once again Canadian Golden Combat Wrestling fans Terry Smith here in the studio and as always I am joined by the head booker of CGC Chris Kaladaro. Chris what were your initial thoughts on this weeks show?”

Chris: “I thought that it was one of the best shows that we have had and hopefully it won’t just be a one time thing hopefully we can get a B- Rating or better from now on for each and every show that we put on in CGC.”

Terry Smith: “Alright well the first match of the last show was Jack DeColt vs. Trent Shaffer, do you think that even though Jack is leaving the company soon that people still thought that he had a chance to win this match?”

Chris: “Well like I have said before he is a DeColt and as long as he has that last name it shouldn’t be a surprise when he wins a match only when he lost. A lot of the fans in attendance at the arena were probably surprised that Jack lost but being that Trent Shaffer is the number one contender for the CGC World Title it shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise when he pulls out a victory. Despite Jack DeColt leaving the company soon he still has put in the effort into matches that he has when he was the World Champion so thankfully that hasn’t changed.”

Terry Smith: “Alright well moving on to the next match which was for the CGC Canadian Championship as the champion Joey Poison was challenged by Dan DaLay. How do you think that this match went and do you think that with Joey’s long reign as champion that is built prestige to the Canadian Title Belt?”

Chris: “Well I thought the match went very well Dan DaLay did whatever he could to try and pull out the win but just came up short. Yes I think that the Canadian Title has gained in prestige especially since Joey has carried the title so long and put out some great matches along the way with some of CGC’s up and coming stars.”

Terry Smith: “Very well, moving onto the third match of the night which was Ricky DeColt taking on Bobby Thomas how do you think that Bobby did in the match despite the fact that he obviously lost the match?”

Chris: “I thought that Bobby did a fantastic job against Ricky, whether he won or lost I knew that he would make a name for himself in that match and he definitely did it. There is no question that Bobby Thomas will be a future contender for the CGC World Title one day along with his opponent in the match Ricky DeColt provided the fact that they don’t leave any time soon.”

Terry Smith: “moving on do you think that Trent Shaffer coming down to the ringside area to get a closer look at Eddie Chandler who will be his future opponent at the next pay per view distracted Eddie in some way?”

Chris: “Yeah I do think that it threw his game off a bit, although Eddie did win the match against Ed Monton even if the champion is at the top of his game when his opponent is watching his match. It has to affect his psyche in some way even if it appears as if it doesn’t.”

Terry Smith: “Finally what were your thoughts on the last segment of the show which featured Trent Shaffer and Eddie Chandler brawling in the backstage area do you think that the feud has finally boiled over?”

Chris: “I thought the segment was great and obviously things have been boiling over and building between them for quite some time. Rest assured that when they have their final match at the next pay per view that, that will be the end of their feud and they won’t be facing off against one another for a while. After their last match at the pay per view they might have one final match but that will be down the line. That will only happen if Eddie is to lose the CGC World Title because he has a rematch clause in his contract if he loses the title against whomever takes it from him. If Trent loses the next match and Eddie keeps the title then there will be no rematch for Trent, in order to get one he will have to fight his way back up the ranks to earn another shot at the title.”

Terry Smith: “Well Chris that does it for this week I look forward to the next show to see what you have in store for everyone on the roster. Until then be sure to catch CGC whenever it comes to your area and until next time this has been Terry Smith saying so long and I will see you all ringside at the matches.”

OOC: Some of the matches scheduled to take place on the next edition of Title Bout Wrestling will be posted sometime on Thursday. Until then read up on this segment and feel free to comment if you would like to do so.

Here are some of the matches that you can expect to see whether you are watching in the comfort of your own home on your television or whether you have tickets to this weeks show to join us in the arena.

The first match of the night features Jack DeColt taking on Nate Johnson, word has gotten out that Jack DeColt is leaving CGC and with that will Nate Johnson be able to pull out a victory over the former champion. Or will Jack DeColt prove that even though he is leaving he will keep winning until he exits the promotion.

The second match of the night is for the CGC Canadian Championship, Ed Monton looks to challenge the current CGC Canadian Champion Joey Poison. Joey has been on quite the roll as of late will he be able to beat Ed Monton in order to keep it going or will Ed pull out the win and win the title that goes with it.

In the co-main event, Alex DeColt takes on the number one contender for the CGC World Heavyweight Championship Trent Shaffer. Will the owner of the company be the one to finally derail the momentum of Trent or will Trent be able to continue his momentum by beating Alex going into his World Heavyweight Championship match?

Finally in the main event of the evening Ricky DeColt challenges Eddie Chandler, will Ricky be able to win the World Championship and bring it back into the DeColt camp. CGC Title Bout Wrestling

Sunday, Week 2, August 2010

Quebec City Arena (Quebec) – 2,000

Shown Live on Maple Leaf Sports

To start off the show live from the Quebec City Arena in Quebec Canada, Ricky DeColt makes his way down to the ring. When he gets into the ring he goes over to the corner by the ring announcer and asks for a microphone the announcer comes up and gives him one as he goes back to the center of the ring. The music begins to fade and Ricky slowly raises the microphone to his lips, as he is about to speak.

Ricky DeColt: “Eddie Chandler I am out here simply to challenge you here tonight to a match in the main event for the CGC World Heavyweight Championship. We have had four matches against each other in the past and I have won two and you have also won two. So in case you lost me on the math there we are tied two-two in the series of matches that we have been having. So what I am proposing here tonight is that right here in this building we have our fifth match against each other to prove once and for all who the better man is.”

With that said Eddie makes his way out onto the entrance ramp with a smirk on his face the belt slung over his left shoulder and a microphone in his right hand. Eddie begins walking slowly to the ring and then thinks twice and stops just halfway between the entrance and the ring.

Eddie Chandler: “Ricky, Ricky, Ricky you should already know who the better man is because that is the man with the belt and as of right now I have it. That’s the way it is, that’s the way it’s been and that’s the way that it will always be. You can say that you are the best all you want but until you have this then you are lying to yourself if you think that.”

Ricky DeColt: “I have had that belt in the past hell everyone in my family has had that title at one point or another and the fact was that I held that belt for ten months. If you are keeping score that is longer than both of your first two title reigns and it will be longer than your third when it is all said and done.”

Eddie: “Yeah but just remember that you have only held this belt once in your career and I am currently on the third reign with this belt.”

Ricky: “Its quality over quantity Eddie.”

Eddie: “Yeah maybe to some people but not to me, but you know what I am sick of being out here in front of these people who don't deserve to see me wrestle. So what do you say, lets finish this tonight in the ring our fifth match against each other and the winner gets all the bragging rights. If I win I keep my title and can say that I beat you three times. Of course if you should be so lucky to win, then you will not only be the new CGC World Heavyweight Champion but you will also be able to say that you beat Eddie Chandler three times.”

Ricky: “Your on Eddie I will see you in the ring tonight.”

With that said Ricky DeColts music starts to play in the arena as he drops the microphone in the ring and gets out of the ring though the top and middle ropes. Not wanting to have any contact with Ricky, Eddie who was on the entrance ramp earlier has now disappeared as the match has already been set for later on tonight.
