Wade Orson vs. Ronny De Veuster

Orson is kept strong

Triangle Match: Leigh Burton vs. Armand Hardwicke vs. Mathias Koskinen

Burton seems to be best of these three

OMWF Tag Team Title Match: Sharp & Co vs. Absolutely Flawless ©

No reason to change tag champs

Top Contender Triangle Match: Nigel Svensson vs. Aleksander Knyazev vs. Jason Dempsey

This is quite close between Svensson and Dempsey but since Dempsey and Snowman seems to be feuding with each others I go with Dempsey here

OMWF King of the Hill Title Match: The Snowman © vs. Gordon Leve

I still think that Snowman won´t hold his belt for long but I´m not sure if Leve is the one who should win it so I go with Snowman here.

OMWF A New Turning

December 2010

Jake's Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

--

Jimmy just paid his entrance money but decides to stay in the bar. You know, just a "couple" of pre-show beers (like 8)...he goes to the toilet and returns.

Jimmy: "Hmmmm....are you paying the electricity bill for these guys?"

RG: "Hmmm...suppose, why?"

Jimmy: "Have a look backstage..."

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx165/rikgeerts/JoeSimpson.jpg

Backstage, Joe Simpson has just bought a new PS3 game called "MAG" and about 4 players are playing online, "shooting" at eachother.

Jimmy: "That'll cost ya!"

RG: "Shut up, Jimmy..."

--

Here we go...a low attendence tonight. The 3 students aren't there. Just 5 regular guys ... and Jimmy.

---

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx165/rikgeerts/RonnydeVeuster.jpg vs http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx165/rikgeerts/WadeOrson.jpg

Wade Orson defeated Ronny de Veuster in 7:50 by pinfall with a Fisherman's Suplex

Orson's clearly in command here against one half of "Dutch Domination". Basically a squash, De Veuster hardly got a move in and Orson finishes it off nicely. Why does this Belgian crowd dislike the Dutch? Tradition?

Triangle Match : Leigh Burton defeated Armand Hardwicke and Mathias Koskinen in 8:16 when Leigh Burton defeated Armand Hardwicke by submission with a Sleeper Hold.

A sleeper match that was more than okay. Hardwicke played the whipping boy to perfection to Koskinen while Burton took care of most of the "wrestling" work. The finisher came when Hardwicke threw Koskinen over the top rope after a reversal, look surprised at the outcome, only to walk into the Burton Sleeper Hold. Nice match.

OMWF Tag Title Title Bout: Sharp & co defeated Absolutely Flawless © in 8:18 when Lance Martin was disqualified while fighting Jon Michael Sharp.

An interesting, but not an exciting title bout. Sharp & Co showed to be equals to the Martin brothers. Sharp dominated early on but Kelly Martin hit a reversed Atomic Drop on Joe Simpson (which got the crowd to the bar) to re-gain the momentum. Four minutes of double-teaming then, before Simpson got the hot tag to Sharp. Lance Martin had his tactic ready though....he got beaten up by Sharp but then pulled out a loaded glove and hit Sharp with it in front of Fearn. He turned to the ref and asked what he was going to do....Fearn called for the bell. DQ victory for the Absoulutely Fabulous ones to retain the belts but this is not done yet.

Triangle Top Contender Match: Nigel Svensson defeated Aleksander Knyazev and Jason Dempsey in 7:39 when Nigel Svensson defeated Aleksander Knyazev by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. During the match we also had The Snowman distract Dempsey.

An interesting bout...The Snowman came out from the start and pointed at Jason Dempsey. Dempsey just left the ring and brawled with Snowman to the back of the area, leaving him out of the match. Which basically left Svensson to face Knyazev...Svensson did really well, he dominated the bout and got the brawling Knyazev into the Hyper Extension Arm Lock. Clean win...nice bout.

OMWF King of the Hill Title Match: Snowman defeated Gordon Leve in 12:15 when Gordon Leve was disqualified when Jason Dempsey ran in and attacked The Snowman. The Snowman makes defence number 9 of his OMWF King of the Hill Title title

The man with a good winning streak Gordon Leve looked ready for this title match but The Snowman was ready for it. Snowman looked like a pro, hitting heavy on his lighter opponent and dominating him. Leve hit a couple of nice suplexes and a big backdrop but Snowman countered with a backdrop. When Snowman looked ready for the Tongan Death Grip on Leve, Dempsey ran out and hit Snowman in the back of the head with a chair. DQ.....Snowman retains...

OMWF Blood On The Tracks 2011

Jake's Bar...about 4 PM.

The door of Jake's Bar opens and RG is surprised to see the Martins and Nigel Svensson this early. Kelly approaches the bar though and orders a drink.

RG: "Hey, Lance...."

KM: "It's Kelly..."

RG: "Yes, I was kidding. Where's Kelly?"

KM: "You mean Lance?"

RG: "Sure, double joke. Haha! Right?"

KM: "Well, we sort of got the same bus as that Swedish guy Svensson...and that's when Lance really ... got distracted."

RG: "Lance?"

KM: "Yeah."

RG: "So, tell me, euhm....K...La....Kelly...?"

KM: "Lance sort of is, well....."

RG: "He's not into ... men .... right? I mean ... not right ... but...."

KM: "Are you kidding? No, he's just into .....

Kelly Martin edges closer and whispers....

KM: "Norwegian history."

RG: "NORWEGIAN HISTORY???"

KM: "Shhhht. Keep it quiet. For some reason that Swedish guys knows a lot about it. Well, perhaps because he's .... you know ... Swedish."

RG: "AAAAH! Thank God he's Swedish! And not, you know...."

KM: "Well, these two have been going on about it for hours on the bus. I can't tell Stockholm from a fjord!"

RG: "Can't tell a Stockville from a Ford either, Lance. Have one on me."

KM: "It's Kelly."

--

http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx165/rikgeerts/DariusHughes.jpg & http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx165/rikgeerts/TheSnowman.jpg

An hour before the show. Jimmy rushes up to me...

Jimmy: "RG, quick, to the back."

RG: "No, not about Swedish history again..."

Jimmy: "Hurry, that snowy guy is going to kill someone..."

RG rushes to the back and sees the Snowman putting Darius Hughes in a big choke! Some other workers are trying to pull Snowman off of Hughes.

DH: "(phew)....you .... (wheeze)....when.....(sigh).....get....(panter)...."

Snowman: "AAAAAHHH!!".

Darius Hughes can't get out of the stranglehold....RG gets into a bit of a panic but sees Dempsey standing nearby.

RG: "Jason, behind you....fire extinguisher. Just hit him..."

JD: "You sure?"

RG: "Yeah..."

Dempsey grabs the fire extinguisher and knocks The Snowman over the head with it. He then looks quite pleased about it. Darius Hughes gasps for air...

DH: "Guv, .... (wheeze)....I (cough)...."

RG: "Take it easy, man...what happened"

RG just looks at The Snowman who's lying dazed on the floor.

DH: "I told him about tonight's match...and he (cough) attacked me...."

RG: "Well, looks like that's not going to be his only problem."

RG looks at The Snowman, lying on the floor. Hey, he looks completely out of it. Jason Dempsey is chuckling away at the back.

RG: "Hey Snowy, last chance or you're fired! Da?"

Snowman: "Ha, Na, Wa? ..... Da ...."

RG: "Yeah, DA!"

--

After all of that, it's finally showtime. The students are there, sporting a cardboard sign that says: "Let's Gow, Snow!"...that's awful. But let's get this one going....7 people attending.

Gordon Leve defeated Mathias Koskinen in 6:15 by pinfall with a Double Israeli Suplex

Pretty standard opener as Leve gets the better of Koskinen. Leve looked solid as ever and Koskinen sold things pretty well for a solid opener.

OMWF Tag Team Title Triangle Match: Absolutely Flawless defeated Dutch Domination and Sharp & co in 7:51; the order of elimination was Dutch Domination first, and finally Sharp & co

A tag title triangle match that should have been better than it was. Simpson and the Dutchies get some static from the crowd and Lance Martin seems to have talked too much Norwegian history to look in good shape. Not a lot of solid action. The Martins retain but the match wasn't good at all.

Aleksander Knyazev defeated Jason Dempsey in 8:14 by pinfall following interference from The Snowman

An interesting little brawl of a match here. Dempsey looked the better of the two wrestlers here. Knyazev got some nice chokes in and some stiff kicks but Dempsey looked lively. Just as Dempsey looked ready to finish Knyazev, Snowman ran in from the back and tripped Dempsey. Dempsey turned to confront Snowman, which gave Knyazev time to nail Dempsey with a stiff kick to the back of the head for the pinfall victory.

Wade Orson defeated Leigh Burton in 7:38 by pinfall with a Fisherman's Suplex

A good match between 2 youngsters who may be on the top of the "can wrestle" list on OMWF. A solid back and forth match. Burton looking good but Orson countering at every opportunity. Burton missed a flying dropkick and Orson immediately capitalised to hit the Fisherman's Suplex out of nowhere for the clean win. Burton looked dazed but shook hands with Orson after the match.

Hardcore match for the OMWF King of the Hill Title: Nigel Svensson defeated The Snowman in 11:47 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. During the match we also had Jason Dempsey run in and attack Snowman. Nigel Svensson wins the OMWF King of the Hill Title title

A title change after Snowman held the title for one year!! Well...that's what you get for backstage attitude problems. Snowman dominated in a match that suited him early on and hit Svensson with chairs, cookie sheets, stop signs and even a "Stelle Artois" glass window. But Svensson tried to wrestle and managed to tie Snowman down. Jason Dempsey ran out and hit Snowman with a baseball bat before he got sent backstage. Snowman saw the opportunity to go for the Tongan Death Grip but Svensson grabbed the baseball bat and countered the hold into the baseball-bat-assisted Hyper Extension Arm Lock. And between a broken arm and a tap-out, even Snowman tapped out! Svensson wins the OMWF King of the Hill Title!

Jake's Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

A cold winter evening in Jake's Bar. RG is looking at the newspaper when the phone rings.

RG: "Jake's Bar, RG speaking."

SI: "Hi, is this the place that organises wrestling events?"

RG: "It is. Owner RG speaking."

SI: "Hi, this is Simon Ice from England. I was wondering if you were hiring workers."

RG: "Well, I am. At least for a try-out. I can pay 100$ a show and I'll pay your travel expenses, if they're not too high."

SI: "Sounds good. When's your next show?"

RG: "End of the month. But I'll have to think about another ring name for you."

SI: "Why? I thought it sounded cool."

RG: "Simon Nice? Sounds like someone from the Eurovision Song Contest. Only the name Tom Dice sounds worse than Simon Nice."

SI: "It's Ice!"

RG: "Oh...well, see you in a couple of weeks."

RG hangs up the phone. "Welcome to OMWF, whipping boy....", RG laughs sarcastically.

I've been lurking this the past couple of days but I'm enjoying this. Svennson is one of those guys that everyone always signs, but whenever I sign him to PGHW or GCG, I can never get anything out of him. You have a nice little promotion here. Keep it up.

And RG is kind of a douche...

The Dutch boys are your job squad, at least ATM

Absolutely Flawless & Mathias Koskinen vs. Sharp & co & Gordon Leve

You've been giving Leve a fairly big push, and the only other credible team you had need to at least LOOK like serious contenders

Alexander Knyazev vs. Leigh Burton

Burton has more upside

OMWF King of the Hill Title Match : Nigel Svensson © vs. Wade Orson

Don't see Svensson being a transitional champ for Wade when Wade could have won it months earlier

Last Man Standing Match : The Snowman vs. Jason Dempsey

Dempsey delivers, Snowman not so much. I don't see Snowman going into a feud with Svensson, and he's been too dominant over Dempsey for anyone to win but him

7PM, before the start of the show.

RG and Darius Hughes are talking about the matches.

RG: "So, Snowman is going to do a twisted somersault moonsault from the top rope, into the thumbthacks, through the table. Right?"

DH: "Guv, euhm..., I don't think it works that way."

RG: "Hey, I'm sure he's willing to do that. He always says something like "Da, through Da thumbthacks"...or something."

DH: "Guv, I'm sure Snowman isn't going to do that."

RG: "Get the guy here..."

DH: "Can't."

RG: "Can't? Like he's not here..."

DH: "No...I'm not disturbing him. Especially not after the last fight I had with him."

RG: "Disturbing? He hearing those voices again?"

DH: "No...Svensson's organising a video game tournament backstage."

RG: "Svensson's what????"

DH: "Svensson's organising a video game tournament back....."

RG: "I heard you...."

RG storms to the back and turns out the power supply.

RG: "I HAD ENOUGH OF THESE VIDEO GAMES! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT ELECTRICITY BILL I HAVE TO PAY? GET OUT THERE AND WRESTLE!!!"

He storms out of the room while everyone has a good laugh...

RG settles behind the mic. Hey, 11 people have turned up. The bikers are back, some locals, the students and .... Jimmy.

Ronny de Veuster defeated Simon Ice in 5:54 by pinfall with a Flying Cross Body following interference from Armand Hardwicke

Simon Ice makes his debut but the fans obviously don't care about him. Well, neither about De Veuster. Ice looked bad out there on his debut, which didn't help him get over with the crowd. Dutch Domination partner Hardwicke did a run in on Simon Ice and tripped him on the apron, allowing De Veuster to hit the Flying Cross Body for the pin victory.

An interesting bout. The crowd didn't like Simpson being in there, despite him playing the face-in-peril to Koskinen. A nice even match, where Gordon Leve pulled off the victory for his team when he hit the Double Isreali Suplex on L. Martin after Sharp hit a Flying Dropkick on Lance.

Svensson makes a succesful defence for the title against young challenger Orson. A good technical outing between these two and some solid action. A vicious and bloody match here. Dempsey jumped Snowman from the start and bloodied him early on with 3 stiff chair shots. Snowman then returned the favour, choking Dempsey with the ropes and hitting him with a pool cue. Ugh! A back and forth match, that wasn't fluent but vicious. Snowman went for the Tongan Death Grip but Dempsey hit him with a chain. He then placed the chain in the ring and hit the Running Bulldog on the chain. Snowman was out cold as Dempsey celebrated...
