PRE SHOW

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Arashi Assassins defeated The Young Bucks in 7:54 when Keiji Sakoda defeated Nick Buck by pinfall with a Roaring Elbow. D-

Live on Spike TV

CM Punk and Jeff Jarrett are squaring off in the ring with mics in hand as Impact comes on air. Both men deliver an intense promo on each other regarding their I Quit match for the World Championship tomorrow night. Each man claims he will make the other quit. Neither backs down as they have a staredown at the end, where Jarrett ends it by saying that as always, he has some tricks up his sleeve. B-

The Fringe, minus Kid Kash all attack Evan Karagias backstage. The three on one attack leaves the TV Champion weakened as his assailants walk off down the corridor laughing. D-

Quiet Storm v Dick Togo & Masato Tanaka

A reasonable opening contest which saw some solid action in the ring but little in the way of interest from the fans. The Japanese duo showed too much quality for their (part) Canadian opponents and duly levelled this quarter final series in 6:41 when Dick Togo defeated Chris Divine by pinfall with a Diving Senton. D+

Canada 1 Japan 1

A video plays hyping a future Mr Wrestling IV v Vampiro no disqualification match that will finally settle their long running feud. C

Eric's Army cut a promo where they say that they have their full focus on reclaiming the Tag Team Championship tomorrow night at Hard Justice and that this time, they won't be taking anybody lightly, neither New Dawn nor Full Blooded Italians. C+

EIGHT MAN TAG

America's Most Wanted (Storm & Harris) Backstreet Boyz v AK-47 & Latin American Exchange (Hernandez & Estrada)

A wild chaotic match which feature a lot of double and triple teaming and brawling in and around the ring as Rudy Charles struggled to maintain control of the bout. Johnny Kashmere was under par in the contest but on the opposing team, Austin Aries put in a stinker and was only saved on three occasions from defeat by this team mates. Their saving as well as taking advantage of Rudy Charles only having one pair of eyes led to their success in 9:33 when Hernandez defeated Johnny Kashmere by pinfall with a Border Toss. C-

Harley Race cut a dark promo with the menacing Abyss saying that his monster will destroy Jerry Lynn tomorrow night to the extent that Lynn won't be recognised by his own mother after the match. C

Ken Shamrock then cut a promo in the ring, saying that he is in his element inside a cage as he felt at home in the octagon when winning the UFC Championship. Sid Vicious interrupts by saying Shamrock never had to face anybody as big or as psychotic as Sid when he was in UFC. C-

Doug Williams v EZ Money

In what was billed as a blow off match in the rivalry that had built up between Williams and Money, the match proved to be somewhat lacklustre. Williams was on top for the most part, out wrestling Money to pick up the win in 8:41 by pinfall with a Chaos Theory. D

FBI are seen walking backstage, giving an interview to the cameraman as they walk. Guido says that they have earned the opportunity of their careers by earning the number one contendership to the Tag Team Championship and they will give their all to become champions. They also express their anger that Eric Bischoff has conveniently put his Army into the match to make it a three way. C+

Mr Wrestling IV hypes his four way match tomorrow night against AJ Styles, Jose Maximo and Vampiro. He says it will be an interesting mix and a great match, and his particular focus is getting the win over Vampiro. C+

TNA TV TITLE

Evan Karagias (champion) v Mike Quackenbush

Karagias was clearly suffering following the beating he suffered at the hands of The Fringe earlier in the night and this led to Quackenbush dominating for most of the match, which ordinarily would not be expected to happen. Karagias put in a gutsy performance and fought back, only for Mike Sanders to appear at ringside. He was merely a decoy to distract Robert Brisko as AK-47 ran in the ring and took out Karagias. This group tactic worked as this led to Quackenbush winning in 12:13 by pinfall with a Quackendriver following interference from Kid Kash. Mike Quackenbush wins the TNA TV title. D+

Eric Bischoff is in his office addressing his entire Army - Jeff Jarrett, Jose Maximo, Ernest Miller and Shane Douglas. He tells them that they must all win on Sunday and there will be no excuses. They all reply "yes sir" before filing out. C

Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell is backstage and expresses his total delight that he is winning round 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown. He shares his complete joy at the kiss they shared on Explosion and that it was a tender moment. His heart skipped a beat when it happened. He can't wait for tomorrow night when they become partners in and out of the ring. B-

Mike Tenay, Potter and Don West hype the Hard Justice pay per view tomorrow night, with more focus placed on CM Punk, FBI and Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell. C+

New Dawn, The Amazing Red & Steve Corino v Bryan Danielson, Eric's Army & Mike Sanders

A quality main event and another wild match as many combustable elements that will meet tomorrow night at Hard Justice combined tonight and lit the place on fire. The crowd were cheering and booing as their favourites and their hated did battle. By the end it was the boos that were ringing the loudest as Shane Douglas drew on his years of experience and tricks to pull off the win in 15:01 when he defeated The Amazing Red by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. C

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA's popularity.

Some of the angles definately lifted the show.

Nobody wants to see Little Guido vs. Punk.:p

If anything Nobby needs to bring back Necro Butcher and match him up against Punk. Think about what a classic match that would be...

PRE SHOW

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Godfather defeated TJ Wilson in 7:24 by pinfall with a Powerslam. C-

Air Paris v Desmond Wolfe

A quality opening contest which is a testament to both wrestlers' ability and attitude given that this pay per view match was given zero build up, other than the sporadic interest in Paris' losing run. This is a run which continues as Wolfe claimed the win in 9:57 by pinfall with a Tower of London. Paris can't buy a win right now. C

Jeff Jarrett cuts a promo from the back regarding his I Quit match for the title with CM Punk tonight. He largely covers old ground with what he says, but he gets the crowd booing and says there is no way he will quit tonight as if he does, he will not only be quitting on himself, but quitting on the company he built as he doesn't want CM Punk's New Dawn dictating what TNA is like. C+

AK-47 v Backstreet Boyz

More former champions who very much fallen from grace are Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid, two time former tag team champions. Like Air Paris in the earlier match, they must be wondering where their next win is coming from. Here, the showed slick teamwork and were looking good against one half of the quartet known as The Fringe. However, Aries and Kash manipulated referee Patrick Hernandez and they used this to earn a win that will increase their stock in TNA, it coming in 6:46 when Austin Aries defeated Johnny Kashmere by pinfall with a 450° splash. C-

SIX MAN TAG

America's Most Wanted v Latin American Exchange

A somewhat wild match which saw plenty of brawling, Robert Brisko did eventually manage to get a handle on the match and assert his authority which led to the latter half of the bout being a lot more controlled and technical based. The two trios appeared fairly well matched on this front, but it was AMW who utilised greater teamwork to earn the win in 8:16 when 'Cowboy' James Storm defeated Ultimo Guerrero by pinfall with a 8-Second Ride. C-

Little Guido and Shane Douglas are having a heated verbal exchange backstage about working together to take care of the tag team champions, New Dawn tonight. Only their partners Tony Mamaluke and Ernest Miller's intervention stops Guido and Douglas from coming to blows. C-

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

The Amazing Red (champion) v Mike Sanders

A match high in quality as both men looked impressive and put on a really good match. Unlike The Fringe's efforts earlier in the night, Mike Sanders was not able to distract Mickey Jay as he tried to use similar tactics to his tag team comrades. Jay was wise to what might happen and pre-emptively banished the new TV champion Mike Quackenbush to the back before the bell even rung. This enabled Red to concentrate on the match and duly prevailed in 10:40 by pinfall with a Code Red. The Amazing Red makes defence number 5 of his TNA X Division title. C+

<iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xnhHub_dHKc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Before Red has a chance to finish celebrating his successful title defence, a new look Christopher Daniels appears, carrying the Feast or Fired briefcase. He hands the briefcase to Mickey Jay and we have a second X Division Championship match.

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

The Amazing Red (champion) v 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels

Red put up a good fight in the early going, but the fast paced match against Sanders only moments before soon took it's toll and Daniels seized the opportunity with both hands and maybe some help from above in 3:55 by pinfall with a Last Rites. Christopher Daniels wins the TNA X Division title. C-

A video plays hyping Bryan Danielson versus Steve Corino. D-

Bryan Danielson v Steve Corino

A match that was a clinic for technical wrestling as Danielson and Corino went hold for hold. An initially fairly quiet crowd got more and more into the match as it went on and ultimately Danielson just about edged it in 13:06 by submission with an Arms Across America. C+

A video plays recapping the feud between Ken Shamrock and Sid Vicious. E+

STEEL CAGE MATCH

Ken Shamrock v Sid Vicious

A brutal steel cage match which saw both men utilise the cage as a weapon far more than trying to escape from it which resulted in both men bleeding profusely from the head. The match could be decided by pinfall, submission or escape and pins and submissions were very much the way of choice rather than escape over the top or through the door. The brutal nature of the contest took it's toll on both men who were clearly suffering the effects as the cage match reached it's conclusion. This came in 15:17 by pinfall when Sid had his arm raised following a Powerbomb. Sid stands in triumphed at finally vanquishing his foe of the past couple of months. C

A video plays recapping the feud involving Abyss, his manager Harley Race and Jerry Lynn. D-

Abyss (with Harley Race) v Jerry Lynn

The night's fine action continued with another match of considerable quality between TNA's monster and the ever reliable Lynn. Although it didn't match the in ring wrestling quality of some of the earlier matches, the chemistry the two seem to share in the ring helped lift the match to another level. Abyss had most of the match by using his considerable size and strength advantage but Lynn was tenacious and kept fighting back. Abyss ultimately hit one big move too many to close the match in 9:49 by pinfall with The Black Hole. C+

Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell is backstage and is very happy... very happy that 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown is "Buff's bit of stuff". C+

'Alpha Male' Monty Brown & Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell v Double X (with Francine)

Double X were completely thrown off by Buff and Monty's antics during this match... Buff kept trying to do homosexual things with Monty such as burying his head in Monty's crotch, patting him on the backside and rubbing his muscular chest. Despite all these shennanigans, Brown powered his way to victory with Buff helping little and Double X not quite knowing what to make of the whole thing. The win came in 5:11 when 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown defeated Frankie Kazarian by pinfall with The Pounce. C-

Backstage Mr Wrestling IV speaks out against Vampiro, saying soon he will put an end to their rivalry, but tonight AJ Styles and Jose Maximo are also involved so it will have to wait a little. C

AJ Styles v Jose Maximo v Mr Wrestling IV v Vampiro

The match started with IV and Vampiro brawling but it settled down into mainly a fast paced, high flying affair which saw some great action. At one point AJ and IV squared up which had some fans salivating at the prospect, only for Vampiro to blindside IV. When the match got down to the business end, it was the phenomenal one who prevailed in 12:22 when Styles defeated Vampiro by pinfall with a Styles Clash. C+

A recap video plays showcasing the build up to the Tag Team Championship match. C-

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

New Dawn (champions) v Full Blooded Italians (number one contenders) v Eric's Army

Another top notch match in a show that has featured some top quality wrestling from the TNA roster. Here, order was maintained pretty much throughout as all three teams were focused on the prize, rather than knocking seven shades of shit out of each other. All three teams had opportunities and came close to walking out with the gold but it was Eric Bischoff's men who win back the belts in 14:55 when Shane Douglas pinned Tony Mamaluke following a Franchiser. Eric's Army I win the NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. C+

CM Punk cuts a promo about the main event where he says it is now down to him to uphold the honour of clean living and true professionalism in wrestling. With Karagias, Red and New Dawn all losing their respective titles, Punk says he has to act like the leader and win like the leader he is. He will not quit at the hands of Jarrett otherwise TNA's founder will win out and TNA will all be about money, washed up former stars and the seedy side of the business that Punk does not want to go in to. C

A recap video shows highlighting the build up to the championship match between CM Punk and Jeff Jarrett, going right back to the formation of CM Punk's New Dawn. C-

Mike Tenay, Don West and Potter go through the tale of the tape. C-

NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

I QUIT MATCH

CM Punk (champion) v Jeff Jarrett

Jarrett walks down to ringside with his trademark guitar but also, of all things, a shopping bag. It's branded of course, he wants the endorsement money. Punk enters carrying his championship belt.

Initially the two were wrestling, trading holds and counter holds until Jarrett had Punk weakened, got his guitar and smashed it over Punk's head, causing him to bleed. Punk refuses to quit, so with Punk down, Jarrett reaches into his shopping bag. He pulls out a branded can of beer, crouches over a still prone Punk and forces the beer down Punk's throat. Punk is seen heaving at having to have been forced to consume alcohol. Jarrett is heard yelling that he has plenty more if he doesn't quit, but Punk, after some thought refuses to. Jarrett then pulls up Punk and hits The Stroke.

With Punk in a bad way, Jarrett again reaches into his shopping bag. This time he pulls out a lighter and a packet of cigarettes. He takes out a cigarette and lights it, forcing it into Punk's mouth. Punk almost throws up as Jarrett is struggling to keep the lit cigarette in Punk's mouth. Again Punk refuses to give up so Jarrett reaches into the bag again.

This time he pulls out a white powder, which presumably is cocaine. Punk, although still prone is able to spot that Jarrett has this power. When Jarrett approaches, Punk rises and kicks Jarrett into head before unleasing a furious barrages of Muay Thai style kicks. He goes to town on Jarrett for well over a minute with little in the way of comeback from Jarrett, how severe the beating is. Punk then picks up the remnants of Jarrett's guitar, rips off a couple of strings, and uses them to apply the Anaconda Vice. Blood starts to trickle from Jarrett's throat which then starts to flow quicker. Jarrett passes out and Mickey Jay then awards the match to Punk in 18:35. CM Punk makes defence number 4 of his NWA TNA World Heavyweight title. C

Rather than celebrate the win, Punk stands over Jarrett with a look of disgust and pure hatred. C

Show rating: C

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA's popularity.

A number of angles did not reach the standard of the in ring action.

I was absolutely not excepting that Daniels would cash in his title shot.

When I saw the second X Division Belt, I thought "he ****ep up and put the wrong belt for the next match" lol

For the Tag Team belt, I was excepting, a non-stable tag team to win, to put the title out those stables.

Anyway, great show.

That was supposed to be a You Tube video of Christopher Daniels entrance from early in his TNA days. I've altered it now.
