PRE SHOW

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rey Bucanero defeated Robert Roode in 9:24 by pinfall with a Michinoku Driver. D+

Double X (with Francine) v Pride of Britain

An acceptable start to Turning Point as the opening contest was an ordinary affair. A few fans took the opportunity to visit the mens' room or get concessions. The crowd were glad when the match finished in 6:55 when Frankie Kazarian defeated Pac by pinfall with a Wave Of The Future. D+

Brits Abroad v Latin American Exchange

Thankfully this match was a huge improvement on the opener and got the crowd's interest back. The two teams kept it interesting with back and forth action, frequent tags and double teaming from LAX and Hero making a hot tag to Wolfe. The hot tag ultimately didn't have the desired effect as in 7:09 when Jorge Estrada defeated Chris Hero by pinfall with a Greetings from Graceland. C

A video plays profiling Doug Williams' TV Title reign. D-

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels (champion) v Evan Karagias

A little disappointing and not as good as previous encountered, Daniels appeared to somewhat underestimate his challenger as Karagias looked to bring gold back to CM Punk's New Dawn. Karagias was successful in his mission as he defeated Daniels who looked shocked post match in 12:36 by pinfall with a Tidal Wave. Evan Karagias wins the TNA X Division title. D+

AK-47 v America's Most Wanted v New Dawn

An exciting three way tag team match where the action was fast and furious with many falls being broke up by both tag team partners and opponents. The end of the contest came in 10:16 when 'Wildcat' Chris Harris pinned Kid Kash. C

CM Punk speaks out on the WWE Invaders, specifically Sean Waltman. He says while he wants to halt the WWE Invaders from taking over TNA so the New Dawn of true professionalism can be maintained, the first target is Sean Waltman because of his steroid abuse and Punk promises to take him out tonight. C

Bryan Danielson v The Amazing Red

A quality match that saw a very good mix of technical wrestling (mostly but not exclusively from Danielson) and fast high flying action (mostly but not exclusively from Red). Red put up a very good showing and proved to be a much more difficult opponent for Danielson than many people expected him to be, but the former NWA TNA World Champion Danielson prevailed in 13:57 by submission with an Arms Across America. C+

AJ Styles v Jeff Jarrett

The quality steps up further as Styles and Jarrett put on a very good match and with Jarrett's focus perhaps being more on CM Punk in the midst of their tussle over who is responsible for the arrival of the WWE Invaders, perhaps Jarrett did not prepare for Styles as much as he should. This was evident as Styles was one step ahead of Jarrett for most of the match and took the bout in 11:55 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. B-

Jimmy Hart talks tough to Sid Vicious backstage where he says that the Invaders will start to real takeover of TNA tonight. C-

CM Punk, Sid Vicious & Steve Corino v WWE Invaders (D'Lo Brown, Jimmy Hart, Sean Waltman & Teddy Hart)

Despite the numbers disadvantage, the match was dominated by Punk, Sid and Corino as Jimmy Hart is about as hard as a piece of paper and Sean Waltman had clearly taken something before the match. Punk noticed this early and went after with immense fury, so much so that Mickey Jay had to calm him down before he disqualified him. The TNA stars took the win in 11:11 when CM Punk defeated Sean Waltman by pinfall with a Pepsi Plunge. Following the match, Punk hit three more Pepsi Plunges on Waltman while Sid and Corino kept D'Lo and Teddy Hart at bay. What now for the WWE Invaders after such a convincing and one sided defeat and Waltman looking seriously injured? D+

Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell and Ernest Miller meet backstage prior to the Tag Team Championship match. They share an intense stare and agree that this will be their final battle. C-

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

'Alpha Male' Monty Brown & Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell v Ernest Miller & Jose Maximo

The final battle was an intense and pressure cooker affair, with the two teams' long term rivalry all on the line as well as the Tag Team Championship. The advantage in the match switched between the two teams as all four men put everything into the bout. Eric's former soldiers succumbed to the homosexual champions in 14:47 when Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell defeated Jose Maximo by pinfall with a Buff Blockbuster. 'Alpha Male' & Buff 'The Puff' make defence number 2 of their NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. C

Prior to the penultimate match, Ken Shamrock tells Mr Wrestling IV that he "will snap his other ankle". C-

'King of Old School' Ken Shamrock v Mr Wrestling IV

A good match that would have been better had the two wrestlers shared some in ring chemistry. Shamrock clearly targeted not only IV's injured ankle but also his good one throughout the match, IV countered by going fast paced and aerial, when he could. Shamrock did manage to get IV trapped in the Ankle Lock, on his good ankle and took the match in 29:24 by submission with an Ankle Lock. Shamrock kept the hold on for a while until Patrick Hernandez threatened to disqualify him. Shamrock told Dusty Rhodes through the camera that now he has to give him his title shot. C

Harley Race is backstage hyping up his monstrous champion, Abyss. C

NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Abyss (champion, with Harley Race) v Jerry Lynn

Some great action in a title match that featured two hugely contrasting wrestlers and Jerry Lynn showed he was not intimidated by the monstrous champion. He relied on all his knowledge, ability and nous to combat the big man and frequently had him in trouble. Abyss utilised his strength to floor Lynn who refused to stay down. Abyss did eventually defend in 20:39 by pinfall with The Black Hole. Abyss makes defence number 6 of his NWA TNA World Heavyweight title. A great way to finish off the show. B-

Show rating: C

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA's popularity.

Waltman didn't last long at all. Strangely, he actually thanked me for firing him, saying it was the wake up call he needed to get himself straight.

Up to and including Christmas Feast I plan a few exciting things and surprises, including but not exclusive the Tag Team Champions get a name, more WWE Invader(s) and a Feast or Fired shocker.

I had that happen in one of my C-Verse games. I think that means due to you firing him he is now going to get clean.

Impact Preview

Jimmy Hart's WWE Invaders have hit a brick wall. CM Punk, Sid Vicious and Steve Corino disposed of them with ease at Turning Point and CM Punk took out Sean Waltman. With all momentum and fear factor vanished and Sean Waltman gone, what next for the WWE Invaders?

Dusty Rhodes has plans for the TNA World Championship at Christmas Feast and will reveal them on Impact.

The Tag Team Champions have a name... and will reveal all tonight.

this would get some momentum back to the side of the invaders. maybe another newcomer helps with the title win, but nonetheless the Invaders need a belt

PRE SHOW

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Middle Eastern Nightmare defeated Brits Abroad in 6:51 when Abbadon defeated Chris Hero by pinfall with an Arabian Night. D+

Live on Spike TV

Ken Shamrock is in the ring demanding that Dusty Rhodes comes out. Rhodes does, but is accompanied by Sid Vicious. Shamrock asks what the hell Sid is doing there, Dusty replies that he is not prepared for Shamrock to fly off the handle and go mad, so Sid is here to keep things peaceful. Shamrock demands a title match as he has "defeated everybody worth anything except the champion". Surprisingly, Dusty agrees... if Shamrock defeats Sid Vicious tonight. Should Sid win, instead there will be a six way for the title at Christmas Feast. C-

Bryan Danielson speaks from backstage where he says he is looking for a tough challenge, and sees one in Masato Tanaka. He challenges the Japanese tough man to a match at Christmas Feast. C

Místico v Robert Roode

A drab match that was devoid of any crowd interest saw Roode overcome a poor Místico in 5:44 by pinfall with a Northern Lariat. D

Backstage and Dusty Rhodes is with America's Most Wanted. He tells them that their tag team match against Ernest Miller and Jose Maximo tonight will be a qualifier for the Feast or Fired match. AMW looked pleased. D+

Elsewhere backstage and Christopher Daniels is with Evan Karagias. He tells Karagias he is having his rematch at Christmas Feast and that Karagias can't do anything about it as it is his contractual rematch. Karagias says bring it on, he will be more than ready. D

Dick Togo & Keiji Sakoda v Latin American Exchange (Hernandez & Estrada)

Miles better than the opening contest of the night, but there was one similarity, it was a bit one sided also as LAX took apart their Japanese opponents. With two comfortable wins under their belt now, it looks like Mexico are going to walk the final and win the first TNA Nations Cup. The win came in 8:04 when Hernandez defeated Dick Togo by pinfall with a Border Toss. C

CM Punk speaks, hyping his rematch on Explosion against Jeff Jarrett. C

Mike Sanders is backstage with EZ Money. He tells Money he has to prove himself to The Fringe, so Sanders challenges Full Blooded Italians to a tag team match at Christmas Feast. Money nods in half appreciation, half apprehension. D

In the TNA Director of Authority's office, Harley Race is screaming at Dusty Rhodes whilst Abyss is menacingly pacing up and down and banging things with his fists. Race says it is unfair that the monster will have to defend in a six way at Christmas Feast. Rhodes simply says that they better hope Shamrock wins tonight. C

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSkjMbl6XFRWUAJqssaG5isR9jq-bTbQmiPXsRp5p41WwMrVs3t

TNA TV TITLE

Doug Williams (champion) v Teddy Hart (with Jimmy Hart)

A match high in quality with Williams' British style matching up well with Hart's Hart dungeon training. Hart has talent, of that there is no doubt, but his attitude is lacking and his ****y and demeaning nature allowed Williams back into the match when Hart could have gone on to take the title. Williams made the most of the gifted opportunity and defended in 10:03 by pinfall with a Chaos Theory. Doug Williams makes defence number 11 of his TNA TV title. Jimmy Hart shouts at Teddy Hart through his megaphone. C+

We're in Dusty Rhodes' office again where the TNA Director of Authority is with AJ Styles. The two are having a discussion about Feast or Fired and it finishes with Rhodes saying that Styles is in. Jeff Jarrett then walks in and before he even has chance to speak, Rhodes puts him in too. Jarrett is shocked. C

Backstage and Jimmy Hart is still angry at Teddy Hart for losing to Doug Williams in his TV Title challenge. He says that everything he has been building with the WWE stars has been wiped out in the past week and the takeover of TNA is stalling. He plans a surprise for Doug Williams and the TV Title next week. C

Feast or Fired Qualifying Match

America's Most Wanted v Ernest Miller & Jose Maximo

With the tedious opener now long forgotten, this was a quality tag team match although Miller underperformed. Miller's poor showing led to his team's downfall as Harris and Storm qualified for Feast or Fired in 12:24 when 'Wildcat' Chris Harris defeated Jose Maximo by pinfall with a Death Sentence. C

'Alpha Male' Monty Brown and Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell are backstage admiring each other's Tag Team Championship belt, their asses and their big ****s, they have the biggest ****s in TNA especially as they are both sporting huge erections. Buff tells Monty he has a name for their team... The Bumders. Monty says he likes it. C

D'Lo Brown is backstage, and states of his anger at CM Punk for him taking out his friend and colleague Sean Waltman. D'Lo says he will right the wrong at Christmas Feast and take out Punk. D+

CHRISTMAS FEAST CONTENDER DECIDER

'King of Old School' Ken Shamrock v Sid Vicious

A match steeped in intensity between two men who can probably be considered to have anger issues. A man who snaps at will versus a psycho. Both men knew what was at stake and fought with everything to take the match. At one point Shamrock has Sid in the Ankle Lock, but the big man was able to power out and fought back to win the match in 18:36 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. We have a six way at Christmas Feast. Ken Shamrock last week lost his chance to become the number one contender to the NWA TNA World Heavyweight Championship and Sid Vicious' victory led to the title match at Christmas Feast being a six way, including Sid. This will no doubt have ticked off numerous people, in particularly Shamrock, champion Abyss and his manager Harley Race.

Jimmy Hart last week promised a challenger for Doug Williams' TV Title. Who will be his hand picked challenger?

More competitors for Feast or Fired are set to be announced.
