I'm about to start writing the show out in game. There is a chance I will be able to write it on here tomorrow, but it is more likely to be Wednesday. Hence you have one or probably two more days to post your predictions otherwise Jay will win by default.

Damn people not letting me win by default. lol

PRE SHOW

In an awkward bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Doug Williams defeated Prince Nana in 6:19 by pinfall with a Revolution DDT. C-

Double R v Young Bucks

A very good start to the first WWE pay per view in TNA. Who would ever have thought that show would happen without a McMahon involved? The Young Bucks put in easily their best performance in TNA so far but narrowly missed out to the more experienced team of Rocky Romero and Roderick Strong in 5:50 when Rocky Romero defeated Nick Buck by pinfall with a Rated R. C+

Jose Maximo v Maven (with Jimmy Hart)

Jose steps in for his cousin The Amazing Red who is out injured and took the fight for New Dawn to the dark WWE Invader, Maven. As seen in recent matches, Maven started out by wrestling his opponent before switching to sinister brutality later in the match. This took Maximo off his own strategy and led to a win for Maven in 8:43 by pinfall with a Crossbody Block. C

Cameras go backstage where we see Abyss warming up. It's not a conventionally warm up though as Abyss is seen head butting walls and punching lockers. B-

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

Caprice Coleman (champion) v Super Crazy (with Jimmy Hart)

A match that saw some great aerial action between two aerial artists. For the majority of the match it was action action action with no sign of any shifty shennanigans. Both men went close a few times to scoring the decisive fall but the end came in controversial circumstances. Caprice Coleman had hit a cross body from the top rope but Crazy managed to roll through. Near the ropes, Crazy reached for the top rope for extra leverage and despite blatantly seeing the indiscretion, WWE Invader's own refereee Jack Doan still made the three count in 14:17. Super Crazy wins the TNA X Division title. B-

Air Paris v Evan Karagias

A second consecutive X Division match and this one was equally entertaining without the controversial finish. Again it was a tight aerial affair and Paris edged it in 11:11 by pinfall with a Moonsault Press. B-

Jeff Jarrett and John Layfield are backstage, enjoying themselves with champagne. They say they are having a great night and are hugely confident that this night will be a great one for the WWE Invasion. C

Abyss (with Harley Race) v Little Guido

Guido was off his game here and Abyss dominated him, winning quickly and brutally in 2:50 by pinfall with The Black Hole. C

'Big Black Love Muscle' Monty Brown & Chris Kanyon v D'Lo Brown & Goldust (with Jimmy Hart)

Monty and Kanyon clearly have revenge on their mind and took it to their Invader opponents in the early going, clearing out the ring and taking in the crowd's cheers. D'Lo and Goldust regrouped with Jimmy Hart and formulated a plan where they isolated Kanyon in the ring. Kanyon hadn't been in competitive action for a little while and was suffering at the hands of the Invaders but he managed to make the hot tag to Monty Brown. Brown cleared house and was ready to hit The Pounce on Goldust. Jimmy Hart then distracted referee Mickey Jay, which allowed Goldust to receive his golden dildo from partner D'Lo Brown. When Monty Brown ran in for The Pounce, Goldust countered by hitting Monty in the head with his golden dildo and underhandedly won the bout in 13:19 when Goldust defeated 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown by pinfall. C-

Christian Cage is backstage, telling the camera that there is no chance CM Punk is taking back the TNA Championship in a WWE pay per view. C

No Holds Barred

'Cowboy' James Storm v 'Wildcat' Chris Harris

A bloody battle which should end this (chapter of the) feud between the former America's Most Wanted partners. Both men used everything and anything they could lay their hands on to cause physical harm on their opponent and it was the former NWA TNA Champion that came out on top in 12:28 by pinfall with a Catatonic. The relief on Harris' face after the match was evident as he finally vanquished his former partner who had cost him his championship. C+

WWE Invaders (Miller/Jarrett/Layfield/Shamrock with Jimmy Hart) v The Fringe (Money/Quackenbush/Sanders)

After The Fringe had made their entrance, they shocked the WWE Invaders by bringing out Steve Corino as the fourth member of their team. The Invaders argued with Robert Brisko that The Fringe could not bring in an extra man but Brisko shrugged them off and told them to get on with the match. The Fringe initially had the upper hand in the match but the Invaders used all their years of experience and all their cunning to get back in charge and ultimately win the eight man tag in 13:12 when John Layfield defeated Mike Sanders by pinfall with a Clothesline From Hell. C+

CM Punk responds to Christian Cage's comments earlier, telling Cage that the NWA TNA Championship is coming back home to TNA. C

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

AK-47 (champions) v Dudleys (with Jimmy Hart)

A thrilling match where the current champions made a very good account of themselves against their world renowned opponents. Dudleys were surprised, expecting to win the titles quite easily. Ak-47 proved otherwise, showing they are more than worthy of being the champions and were on the verge of retaining if not for one of the Dudleys saving the others. Dudleys knuckled down, refocused on the task at hand and just overcame the champions in 11:42 when Brother Devon defeated Austin Aries by pinfall with a 3D. Dudleys win the NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. Aries and Kash look justifiably devasted at losing the titles despite putting in a very strong performance as the Dudleys celebrate. C+

NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Christian Cage (champion, with Jimmy Hart) v CM Punk

A partisan crowd who were firmly behind Punk, which clearly bothered Cage in the early minutes, until Jimmy Hart offered him some words of advice, which led to Cage utilising the boos to his advantage. The two then wrestled back and forth in a really good match before Cage with a little assistance from Jimmy Hart and also controversial referee Jack Doan, who clearly favoured Cage in terms of rope breaks, five counts and illegal moves, prevailed in 20:24 by pinfall with an Unprettier. Christian Cage makes defence number 2 of his NWA TNA World Heavyweight title. B-

As we wait for the match between Al Snow and AJ Styles to commence, Mike Tenay and Potter run us through the Tale Of The Tape. C

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

Al Snow (champion, with Jimmy Hart) v AJ Styles

A great match with great heat from the crowd, firmly behind Styles. Styles rode this wave of support and had Snow in serious trouble for the opening ten minutes. Snow withstood Styles assault and mounted a fightback. For the next few minutes the match ebbed and flowed, the winner being uncertain. A great night for the WWE Invasion was rounded off in 29:33 by pinfall with a Snow Plow. Al Snow makes defence number 7 of his WWE title. The WWE Invasion now holds all the TNA championships, have their own pay per view and monthly event. Where now for Dusty Rhodes and TNA? B-

Impact Preview

The road to Victory Road starts in Pico Rivera.

WWE Invaders had a great night on their own pay per view, WWE In Your House. Super Crazy won the X Division Championship and the Dudleys won the Tag Team Championship, meaning that the WWE Invasion have all the titles and all the power in TNA. It's certain they will gloat and abuse the power but how are TNA, New Dawn and The Fringe going to respond?

Abyss continued his recent rampage by rolling over Little Guido at WWE In Your House. Can anybody stop his rampage?

'Wildcat' Chris Harris finally got the better of former partner 'Cowboy' James Storm. Harris is in the building for Impact.

Watch the action live at the arena on Sunday night or the television broadcast on Spike on Monday night.

Arn Anderson and Jimmy Hart are in the ring at the start of Impact. They talk of their pride in the WWE and the fact that the WWE now hold every TNA championship there is. Christian Cage is the NWA TNA Champion, Al Snow holds the WWE Championship, Dudleys are the NWA TNA Tag Team Champions and Super Crazy is the new X Division Champion. They say that WWE rules TNA, and essentially WWE now owns TNA. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Dudleys are backstage, applauding Anderson and Hart's words from the ring and saying they are the greatest tag team the world has ever seen. Their titles show that. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Double R v Pride of Britain</strong></p><p>

The opening contest is a tight match where there were few mistakes. Romero and Strong did capitalise on a rare mistake from Pac in the match to double team him and it led to the win in 5:46 when Rocky Romero defeated Pac by submission with a Diablo Armbar. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

TNA Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes walks out to the ring with former X Division Champion Caprice Coleman. Rhodes demands that Arn Anderson and new champion Super Crazy come to the ring. They do, and Rhodes demands that Coleman gets his rematch at Victory Road due to the controversial circumstances that Crazy beat Coleman for the title. Anderson is hesitant but the competitor comes out in Crazy and he agrees to it. Anderson gives Crazy a look of "what the ****?" as Rhodes and Coleman look happy they have their way. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Kevin Kelly interviews John Layfield who is not shy in bigging himself up. He says he is the greatest thing in TNA and the WWE Invasion came on the back of his money. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Air Paris v Little Guido</strong></p><p>

Paris came out dressed like a gypsy but despite his smelly and minging appearance he impressed as he and Guido put on a really good match. Gypsy Paris came out with the win in 9:08 by pinfall with a Moonsault Press. <strong>B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

'Wildcat' Chris Harris is talking backstage, mentioning his delight and relief to finally vanquish his nemesis and former partner, 'Cowboy' James Storm. Jeff Jarrett walks by and tells Harris he was lucky to become champion and was lucky to stay champion. Harris tells Jarrett he is talking crap, so Jarrett hits him. Harris fights back and the two start brawling around backstage before TNA officials and security break them up. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

TNA Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes strides to the ring again, this time with New Dawn leader CM Punk. Punk and Rhodes both express their disgust at the biased refereeing in the NWA TNA Championship match at WWE In Your House. They call out Arn Anderson and the champion Christian Cage. Out come the WWE pair and Rhodes tells Anderson and Cage that if CM Punk is not granted a rematch at Victory Road then they will go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and go down a legal route. Punk adds that Cage doesn't want that, as they have the power to go a step further and strip Cage of the championship. Anderson and Cage confer and agree to a rematch. Anderson is pissed off, a great night is turning sour. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AK-47 v Latin American Exchange</strong></p><p>

AK-47 took out their frustrations of losing the Tag Team Championship out on Latin American Exchange, beating down the other former champions quite comprehensively, though their task was helped by a poor performance from Hernandez. AK-47 won fairly easily in 9:50 when Austin Aries defeated Jorge Estrada by pinfall with a Brainbuster. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage after the match and Ernest Miller and Ken Shamrock are getting in Jose Maximo's face, taunting him before beating him down. <strong>D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Harley Race speaks about his charge Abyss, highlighting his dominating performances of late. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Evan Karagias v Satoshi Kojima</strong></p><p>

A high quality match with some great action, Kojima might not compete in TNA too often due to his Japanese commitments, but it certainly does not affect his matches. He and Karagias went back and forth and Kojima prevailed in 14:02 by pinfall with a Lariat. <strong>B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage and again Dusty Rhodes is at loggerheads with Arn Anderson. This time, Rhodes has AJ Styles with him and Anderson has Al Snow. Rhodes again demands a rematch for Victory Road but Anderson knocks him back, telling Rhodes he is pissed off with his meddling, Snow beat Styles fair and square, AJ will not get a rematch and there is nothing he can do about it. Rhodes and Styles have been over ruled on this one. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AJ Styles v Jeff Jarrett (with Jimmy Hart)</strong></p><p>

AJ's set back backstage spurred him on in this match which is TNA greatest ever match. The action was first class, the crowd were hot throughout, backing AJ all the way and Styles won a match that will be remembered in TNA for a long time in 18:44 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. <strong>B+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Show rating: B-</strong></p><p>

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA’s popularity.</p><p>

<p>PRE SHOW</p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, AK-47 defeated Divine Storm in 6:07 when Austin Aries defeated Chris Divine by pinfall with a 450° splash. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Impact</strong></p><p>

Sunday, week 3, July 2005</p><p>

Broadcast on Monday, week 4, July 2005 on Spike</p><p>

Newman Arena, Ithaca, New York</p><p>

John Layfield starts Impact and like last week, he boasts about being the greatest wrestler in the world and the WWE Invasion of TNA is happening because he is bank rolling it, and he calls TNA a bunch of hicky nobodies. He gets interrupted, as AJ Styles comes out. He says he is TNA through and through, he is the future of TNA and he challenges Layfield to prove he is the greatest wrestler at Victory Road by beating AJ Styles. Layfield tries to fob AJ off, but AJ gets under his skin by saying he is all talk and no walk. Layfield accepts AJ's challenge. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Brits Abroad v Middle Eastern Nightmare</strong></p><p>

Hero and Wolfe won fairly quickly and fairly comfortably against a team that hasn't seen much action in TNA in the past few months. Their victory came in 6:12 when Chris Hero defeated Abbadon by pinfall with a Hero's Welcome. <strong>D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Backstage and Joel Maximo talks to his brother Jose. Joel tells Jose he is a changed man, that he knows he has made mistakes in the past and he wants to make it up to his brother. Jose is wary of Joel's intentions, the last time they were together it ended in a bloody brotherly feud. Jose tells Joel he will have to think about it. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere backstage and the Dudleys come across Kid Kash, with Austin Aries nowhere in sight. Dudleys don't need to evaluate the situation for long, they take full advantage and beat down one half of AK-47, leaving him lying facedown on the concrete. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>EZ Money v Roderick Strong</strong></p><p>

During this match, it was announced by Mike Tenay on commentary that the two wrestlers' respective teams, The Fringe and Double R would be meeting at Victory Road in August. This added an extra dimension to the match as a win would gain early momentum for his team. It was The Fringe who got this early momentum when Money took it in 9:20 by pinfall with a Money Clip. A good match despite little drama in it, thanks to some great wrestling action. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Cameras focus on the video screen at the entrance. Images of various masks appearing on the screen, these masks belonging to Rey Mysterio Jr. The final mask stays on the screen for a short time.</p><p>

<span>http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRIb2e2CFjJeoWYZq7qFIUEQFrAsQyXoeBc4YgD9Z9_T26_H2-T</span></p><p>

The words REY IS COMING appear under it. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Al Snow speaks from backstage, proclaiming himself to be the greatest WWE Champion and he will showcase that at Victory Road when he demolishes his opponent. He says he knows who it is, but he won't reveal their identity. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Abyss (with Harley Race) v Doug Williams</strong></p><p>

Another match where Abyss was dominating. This time however, the quick win didn't arrive. Williams was tenacious and hung on in there, then Johnny Kashmere came in and attacked Abyss when referee Mickey Jay had suffered a bump. Potter on commentary questioned Kashmere's sanity in attacking Harley Race's monster. Despite all of this, Abyss still came out with the win in 7:44 by pinfall with The Black Hole. A highly entertaining bout. <strong>B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jeff Jarrett speaks from a plush locker room. He speaks out about 'Wildcat' Chris Harris' "lucky" title reign and how he will show up Harris for the fraud that he is at Victory Road. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In the WWE Invaders' locker room, Ernest Miller and Ken Shamrock say that the Maximos are not fooling them. They know that they will reunite at Victory Road but the don't care. Joel was never good enough for the WWE Invasion and Jose isn't good enough period. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>CM Punk v Goldust (with Jimmy Hart)</strong></p><p>

Punk must have been seeing Christian Cage when he was looking at Goldust as he started the match in a fury that had Goldust bailing for a conference with Jimmy Hart. Goldust slowed the pace of the bout down and assumed control for a while, only for a now focused rather than fury Punk to get the better of the bizarre golden dildo wielding oddball in 13:44 by pinfall with a Pepsi Plunge. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Christian Cage appears on the video screen at the conclusion of the match. He says that Punk's win tonight doesn't concern him, he will keep his title at Victory Road. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Caprice Coleman v Satoshi Kojima</strong></p><p>

The main event saw the former X Division champion Colemand face the tough Japanese former champion as he heads towards Victory Road and his rematch with new champion Super Crazy. The match was a long, excellent affair with Coleman's fast, aerial attack blending well against Kojima's more traditional Japanese style. Fans were applauding the action and on their feet as the two went back and forth for over twenty minutes, with Coleman finishing with his arm raised in 21:57 by pinfall with a Thermal Shock. An excellent way to finish Impact. <strong>B+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Show rating: B-</strong></p><p>

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA’s popularity.</p><p>

Some of the angles did not reach the standard of the ring action.</p><p>

<p>PRE SHOW</p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bryan Danielson defeated Adam Bomb in 7:39 by submission with an Arms Across America. Bomb was off his game. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Impact</strong></p><p>

Sunday, week 4, July 2005</p><p>

Broadcast on Monday, week 1, August 2005 on Spike</p><p>

University Arena, Kalamazoo, MI</p><p>

<span>http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRG-CXQIqfO8Nfo0NCtXju0GRRv1YmU0drHzkBNVcSfgydGSOaYlw</span></p><p> </p><p>

TNA Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes is in the ring and announces that there will be a contract signing for the NWA TNA World Heavyweight Championship match at Victory Road. He then introduces the champion Christian Cage and his challenger CM Punk. The two sign the contracts peacefully, before Cage starts getting under Punk's skin, finishing by telling Punk that he had his lawyers insert a clause say that if Punk doesn't win the title, he doesn't get another chance at it. Punk's eyes widen in anger but Cage flips over the table and attacks Punk by surprise, before putting him through the table. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Brits Abroad v Divine Storm</strong></p><p>

The Brits were much the better in the opening match and pretty much strolled to victory in 5:46 when Chris Hero defeated Chris Divine by pinfall with a Hero's Welcome. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The Fringe speak from backstage, where EZ Money and Mike Sanders are confident of a Victory Road victory over Double R. <strong>B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Elsewhere backstage, cameras follow Ken Shamrock, where he attacks Jose Maximo before locking him in an Ankle Lock in a corridor. He is shouting "Where's Joel?" while Jose screams in pain. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lance Storm (with Jimmy Hart) v Steve Corino</strong></p><p>

A surprisingly tepid match between two quality workers, perhaps because neither have been active much in TNA in the past couple of months. Corino has been a little more active than Storm, so perhaps the outcome was another surprise as he lost in 8:45 by submission with a Straightshooter. <strong>D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jeff Jarrett and 'Wildcat' Chris Harris are engaging in a wild brawl, which sprawls all over the backstage area. Security and TNA officials wade in to finally seperate them, with both men dishevelled and wanting more. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

AJ Styles and JBL have a war of words in the ring ahead of their Victory Road match. AJ calls JBL a selfish bully, while JBL retorts that AJ is a young punk. The two brawl and the security and TNA officials are called upon again to seperate a fight. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'Big Black Love Muscle' Monty Brown v Satoshi Kojima</strong></p><p>

A very good match between two hard hitting wrestlers. Brown was getting the upper hand over Kojima when Goldust and D'Lo Brown made an appearance. Goldust used his golden dildo to distract both Monty and referee Mickey Jay which allow D'Lo Brown to attack Monty from behind. Kojima was reluctant to take advantage but didn't have much choice and closed out the match in 12:30 by pinfall with a Lariat. <strong>B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Caprice Coleman cuts an interview from the locker room. He talks about his rematch at Victory Road for the X Division Championship, saying there will be no crooked refereeing and he is confident of regaining his championship. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Harley Race and Abyss laugh at Johnny Kashmere, telling him he is stupid for attacking Abyss last week when he faced Doug Williams. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Brother Devon (Tag Team Champion, with Jimmy Hart) v Kid Kash</strong></p><p>

Champion v Victory Road challenger here in a single match, with also saw Devon's Brother Ray sit in on commentary. Kash gave Devon problems with his mixture of hard hitting and high flying. Devon absorbed Kash's offence and prevailed in 12:58 by pinfall with a Deadlyville Drop, much to the delight of Ray on the headset. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

A second video plays hyping the arrival of Rey Mysterio Jr.</p><p>

<strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Mike Tenay and Potter profile WWE Champion Al Snow. <strong>B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AJ Styles v Maven (with Jimmy Hart)</strong></p><p>

A great match but the crowd weren't as lively as TNA has seen in the past. The action was exciting and frantic as Maven and AJ went back and forth in the ring and in the air. The New Dawn member got the better of the WWE Invader in 16:22 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. <strong>B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Show rating: C+</strong></p><p>

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA’s popularity.</p><p>

Some of the angles did not reach the standard of the ring action.</p><p>

Attendance: 3885</p><p> </p><p>

Impact was the fifth best show in TNA history.</p><p>

AJ Styles v Maven was the third best match in TNA history.</p><p>

'Big Black Love Muscle' Monty Brown v Satoshi Kojima was the ninth best match in TNA history.</p>

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

Super Crazy (champion, with Jimmy Hart) v Little Guido

Crazy looked great in a frantic match against Guido, who since his former FBI partner Tony Mamaluke left TNA has yet to find his slot in the pecking order. Crazy dispatched his challenger in 10:03 by pinfall with a Trifecta Moonsault. Super Crazy makes defence number 1 of his TNA X Division title. C+

Kevin Kelly conducts an interview with John Layfield, who hypes an upcoming match against AJ Styles, saying that AJ is a trailer park punk who doesn't belong in wrestling. C

'Big Black Love Muscle' Monty Brown & Chris Kanyon v D'Lo Brown & Goldust (with Jimmy Hart)

A feud which has been steadily building which started when Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell was partner of Monty Brown and continued with Kanyon at Monty's side. Monty and Kanyon let out their frustrations as they tore into the WWE Invaders. D'Lo and Goldust cheated their way back into the match but went one too far when the referee caught Goldust golden handed, as he had his golden dildo in hand ready to do god knows what to Monty Brown. Goldust protested his innocence, and Monty recovered and made the most of Goldust losing focus in 11:48 when 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown defeated D'Lo Brown by pinfall with The Pounce. C

Abyss (with Harley Race) v Joel Maximo

A bout that saw some great action and Abyss have the majority of the offence as he dismantled his considerably smaller opponent Maximo in 6:14 by pinfall with The Black Hole. The two displayed great chemistry. C+

Arn Anderson is backstage and he tells Al Snow he has the ideal opponent for him at Victory Road for his WWE Championship defence. Snow asks Arn who it is, and Arn tells him it is The Amazing Red. The two cackle. C

NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Christian Cage (champion, with Jimmy Hart) v Bryan Danielson

Another match which saw some great action, despite Cage underperforming. Danielson was outstanding and caused Cage all sorts of trouble and the his championship was under serious threat. Cage sneaked it though, thanks to the distractions of Jimmy Hart, in 14:45 by pinfall with an Unprettier. Christian Cage makes defence number 3 of his NWA TNA World Heavyweight title. B-

After a match, Christian Cage tries to attack Bryan Danielson, but CM Punk runs in and makes the save, sending Christian packing. Punk and Danielson then look at each, a look of respect. C-

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Dudleys (with Jimmy Hart) v Caprice Coleman & Jose Maximo

A match which continued the night's great action, former X Division and TV champions Coleman and Maximo proved difficult opponents as they tried to bring the Tag Team Championship to CM Punk's New Dawn. Dudleys have been there, done that and got many t-shirts and came out on top in 11:23 when Brother Ray defeated Caprice Coleman by pinfall with a 3D. Dudleys make defence number 1 of their NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. C+

Ken Shamrock cuts a promo regarding the Victory Road tag team match where he teams up with Ernest Miller against Jose Maximo. He tells Jose his partner better not be Caprice Coleman as he just showed they can't do the job. C

AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio Jr & 'Wildcat' Chris Harris v Jeff Jarrett, John Layfield & Maven (with Jimmy Hart)

Another really good match and one which saw Rey Mysterio Jr make his TNA debut, much to the delight of the fans. Despite appearing to lack any connection like the WWE Invaders, Styles, Mysterio and Harris worked well together and Mysterio was impressive on his debut. This led them to victory in 18:02 when Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated John Layfield by pinfall with a Springboard Hurricanrana. B-

Satoshi Kojima is in the TNA Director of Authority's office, where Dusty Rhodes is sitting behind his desk. Kojima tells Rhodes he wants opportunities in TNA. Rhodes responds by telling Kojima if he commits to TNA and not go off to Japan every time TNA has a big event. C

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

Al Snow (champion, with Jimmy Hart) v Kid Kash

A great night of wrestling is rounded off by a high quality main event. Former Tag Team Champion and one half of AK-47 may not be the most likely of challengers, but he gave Snow a stiff test which Snow squeezed through in 23:30 by pinfall with a Snow Plow. Al Snow makes defence number 8 of his WWE title. B
