5/5 predicting. Glad to see I haven't completely lost my touch. :D

Good work, good sir. One of the few to pick Hawkins over Golden.

Speaking of that one, I figured on Golden squawking about taking the loss there, given that he was a bit ahead of Hawkins in terms of popularity. The big lug took it without a peep. Good man.

I also want to point out that Hawkins pulled off a B+ with Rocky Golden, while Tommy Cornell didn't.

Something is fishy.

I wondered at that a bit, too. I'll have to look up what the actual numberic grades are. There may not actually be much difference. Still curious... Cornell should have been higher than Hawkins in terms of popularity, if just by a little bit, and both had strong momentum. Cornell is obvoiusly more skilled. Pretty much chemistry didn't come into play in either match.

It may have come down to Road Agent notes. I'm pretty sure I set winner, Cheap Win, and interferene by Rick Law for the Hawkins match. Maybe even Open Match? I don't off-hand recall what notes I used for Golden-Cornell.

It may have also just been PST. The PPV had two A matches, including the semi main event.

Law interfering definitely gives Golden/Hawkins a storyline bonus. Was that also present for Golden/Cornell?

I think I evolved the Golden-Law storyline to include Cornell for that point. I really can't recall what notes I used for that match. I doubt I would have used Slow Build as I doubt Golden could make it work, even against Cornell... but I have done dumber things....

Total Championship Wrestling Newswire

From TCW.com

Tuesday, Week 2 April 2010

It would indeed appear that the days of Tommy Cornell doing as he pleases within Total Championship Wrestling are over.

After violating a Home Office suspension last night to appear on Total Wrestling, the man dubbed "Rough Justice" has raised the ire of the Home Office once again. The Home Office has responded by extending Cornell's suspension and increasing the fine. The original suspension was four weeks, and set to expire prior to the TCW Where Angels Fear to Tread pay per view on Sunday of Week 4 here in April. That suspension was without pay and accompanied by a ten thousand dollar fine.

In light of his antics last night, Cornell's suspension has been extended to include the pay per view, and the monetary penalty has been doubled to twenty thousand dollars. However, should Cornell choose to violate it again, he will face a suspension of double-length, which would keep him on the TCW sidelines until the end of May.

The Home Office seems sincere and determined in their efforts to penalize Cornell for his unrepentent refusal to adhere to the stipulations of the matches he agreed to back in February.

Many fans felt Total Championship Wrestling would falter without the man who won the moniker "Mr. TCW" from his eternal rival, Ricky Dale Johnson. The past two weeks have offered prototyical high quality wrestling action in TCW, however, so those concerns appear to be unfounded.

The Buffalo Humps made TV! That letter to Azaria paid off! TCW has been HUMPED!

That show was great. I love the tension between heels. I meant to mention that after the show when Cornell won the title shot and Law was ticked. Now there's tension between the Samoans and Machines...nice! I also liked Keith calling Hawkins a kid...nice touch.

Like the humor of foreshadowing Benson and Prudence as partners for Vessey. Good luck Bryan...just don't tag out. For a couple seconds I thought Benson might become a Fall Child...he seemed Bach-esqe. Nice addition with Acid...I guess the stable isn't going to be like The Flock.

The match descriptions remain a highlight...I can picture it. Awesome work. Impressed that you furthered Cornell's suspension. Makes things more challenging for you I would think.

Glad you enjoyed the show. And I couldn't let something like "Buffalo Humps" go unused now could I?

Regarding heels having tensions between them, its partly them being individually selfish and partly setting things up for down the road... potentially...

The Sammy Bach stable is definitely taking some inspiration from The Flock, much as the alt done by jhd1 for Bach takes some inspiration from Raven. But its merely inspiration, not replication. There will be some elements from a few different stables.

Glad you enjoy the match descriptions. If you can envision the match to some degree, then things are coming across.

And yeah, keeping Tommy off-screen is not exactly making things easier. But its also not sinking me - the show grades don't seem too different with or without him actually working matches. I definitely lose some flexibility, but its the story I decided to go with, so no complaints.

Sam Keith Promo

With his two clones... err... sons by his side, Sam Keith cuts a long-winded promo about what makes him a true Living Legend and the greatest that professional wrestling has ever seen. Greg and Matthew add a great deal to the whole deal by nodding a lot.

Grade: B

Planet Silver vs The L.A. Connection

Sara Silver debuts her new pair of wrestlers, who make a decent enough team. Despite their individual talent, the pair are unable to take down the decently-experienced Cali pair.

The L.A. Connection Win at 9:59 via Pinfall

Grade: C

______________________________

Sara Silver Promo

Despite their loss, Silver hypes up her new duo, talking how they will come to dominate Total Championship Wrestling, much as Samoan Violence Unlimited will.

Grade: B

Bali So' vs American Elemental

The masked lightweight takes a battering from the methodical Samoan. A nice tenacious display from Bali.

Bali So' Wins at 7:59 via Pinfall

Grade: C+

______________________________

Flying Jimmy Foxx vs Eddie Peak

Mr. Foxx does little in the way of flying here, except for when he is tossed around by Peak. The match is remarkably like a big jungle cat playing with a small prey animal. Its almost merciful when Peak delivers a Peak of Perfection and pins his little opponent.

Eddie Peak Wins at 7:02 via Pinfall

Grade: C

______________________________

The Canadian Animals Promo

The promo focuses on Edd Stone stating he will defend the All-Action championship at the Where Angels Fear to Treat pay per view... but he fears there is no one worthy of challenging for it.

Grade: B-

______________________________

Sammy Bach Promo

Bach again promises that he will teach Joshua Taylor the lessons the must be learned. A lesson that includes the taking the International championship. He also promises that Acid is just the first of his children.... the first of the lost souls who he has saved. Taylor can be one of them as well...

Grade: B

______________________________

American Buffalo vs James Prudence

The big monster dominates the early going, but Prudence turns it into a game of keep-away, making Buffalo chase while getting in quick shots. It builds up over time and Prudence steals the win with a surprise roll-up win after Buffalo misses a spear and hits the turnbuckles hard.

James Prudence Wins at 13:31 via Pinfall

Grade: C-

______________________________

The Tag Team Specialists vs Rocky Golden & Bryan Vessey

A very solid tag match that goes back and forth. The Specialists use their experience together, while Golden and Vessey get by on pure skill and talent. The babyface pair get the victory after the TCW World Heavyweight champion locks Joel Bryant into The Rack submission.

Golden & Vessey Win at 15:22 via Submission

Grade: B

Overall Grade: B

Preview of TCW Presents Total Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 3, April 2010

TCW's Where Angels Fear to Tread pay per view is just two weeks away. There will be plenty of action on tap this week as we head toward a pay per view that is sure to be memorable.

TCW Presents Total Wrestling features some interesting match-ups, such as Bryan Vessey taking on John Anderson and one-half of the TCW World Tag Team champions, Scout, facing newcomer Bali So' of Samoan Violence Unlimited.

Another newcomer - actually returnee - James Prudence debuted by getting a chance at Edd Stone's All-Action championship. He will have the opportunity to earn another shot at the belt, as the winner between Prudence and Stone's tag team partner Freddy Huggins will get a title shot at the coming pay per view.

The show features a double main event. The first match is "The Living Legend" Sam Keith looking to teach a few things to the TCW International champion Joshua Taylor. In the second main event, "The Fallen" Sammy Bach takes on Joey Minnesota, with both men looking to build some momentum going into big matches at the pay per view.

This will also have Bryan Vessey's answer to the challenge laid down last week by Sam Keith. And the decision on Vessey's tag team partner or partners, one would assume. As well, the Home Office has provides assurances that Tommy Cornell will adhere to his suspension and will not be making another appearance.

You won't want to miss out! Tune in on GNN Total Sports!

Bryan Vessey vs John Anderson

Not sure about this one but I go with Vessey.

Bali So' vs Scout

It will be interesting to see how this one go since these two will likely clash on tag belts sooner or later, but I go with more experienced Scout on here

James Prudence vs Freddy Huggins

I´d like to se Huggins winning here but with that title shot opportunity for Prudence I have to assume that he wins here.

Rick Law & Troy Tornado vs The Cali Dragons (Frankie Perez & Mikey James)

Too much star power for Cali Dragons to overcome

Joshua Taylor vs Sam Keith

I assume that Keith still have enough left to win here

Sammy Bach vs Joey Minnesota

Another interesting match up, but I go with Minnesota since I presume he is higher on the card right now

Bryan Vessey vs John Anderson

Vessey stays strong going into the PPV. Partner options for WAFTT are looking thin for Vessey.

Bali So' vs Scout

Scout is more over.

James Prudence vs Freddy Huggins

Prudence got a big (sad) win over American Buffalo, so I see him as being on a roll.

Rick Law & Troy Tornado vs The Cali Dragons (Frankie Perez & Mikey James)

Law and Tornado will not lose to the Dragons.

Joshua Taylor vs Sam Keith

Taylor does not need a win here to look good. I really like how you're planning ahead with Keith-Vessey.

Sammy Bach vs Joey Minnesota

I feel losses actually serve Bach's character well. Losses just fuel his fire/misery. A loss for Joey would make him look pretty weak against a Golden-defeating-Wolf at the PPV.

Bryan Vessey vs John Anderson

Vessey's not going to loose to a tag specialist in the build up to the PPV.

Bali So' vs Scout

While my first instinct says it's too soon for the Samoans, you do need contenders for the tag titles, and this would accomplish that and give a massive credibility boost to Sara's boys.

James Prudence vs Freddy Huggins

Sets up title match.

Rick Law & Troy Tornado vs The Cali Dragons

While I normally hate to give two random partners the nod against an established tag team, Troy and Rick are so much higher in the food chain.

Joshua Taylor vs Sam Keith

Build some momentum for Sam going into the big match.

Sammy Bach vs Joey Minnesota

Personally, I would put Sammy over here, but the logical winner is Joey.
