World Championship: Hiroaki Nakasawa vs Tasuku Iesada

Iesada does provide a strong challenge, but we all know this is leading eventually to Nakasawa vs Kikkawa, and Nakasawa won't drop the title till then unless injury, fluke event,or unlikely contract problem occurs.

Okazaki & Pathlow vs The Rebellion (Shimedzu & Miyamae)

Pathlow takes the loss as The Rebellion is collectively better, and this gives them momentum to challenge for the world tag titles.

Junior CC: Marihito Masuko vs The Awesome Kiyaru

Masuko is primed for a strong run at the Junior title

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Tadakuni Toshusai

TOSH -U -SAAIII UGH! will be the sound Tadakuni makes when Kikkawa plants him for the pin.

Elemental III, Kokan & Konda vs Sensationl Dragon, American Optimus & ????

Going with the ???? here, and thinking Sensational will be kept strong heading to his next title match.

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

Gatekeepers get win to remain relevant

Masuno, Cobra & Scorpion vs Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM

Top contenders get squash

Mitsunari Fuganaga vs Takayuki Onodera

booker sneaks a win

Panther vs Yoshikawa vs Koyama vs Samurai

Panther is slightly higher on the jobber ladder.

Kinnojo Horri vs Tiger Fuyuki

Horri must have pissed you off to get a meaningless squash match

Horri must have pissed you off to get a meaningless squash match

Not the case here, it just worked out that I didn't really have anything more worthwhile for him this show and I find it's better to put someone in a meaningless squash than to not put them on the show at all. I tend to find anyone from Upper Mid/Main event tend to whine about not being booked on a show but they won't moan about being in a crappy dark match :p

Only two guaranteed to be on the 'Main Show' all the time are Nakasawa and Kikkawa. Otherwise everyone else will do the occasional shift in dark time.

World Championship: Hiroaki Nakasawa vs Tasuku Iesada

I´m little unsure about this one so I just back the chmap here

Okazaki & Pathlow vs The Rebellion (Shimedzu & Miyamae)

Now this is interesting match-up, both Shimedzu and Pathlow are getting pushed and both have team mates who have been done pretty good resently as well...I go with named team over more or less random pairing partly because their greater tag experience but also because Pathlow could handle the loss here better than Shimedzu on my opinion.

Junior CC: Marihito Masuko vs The Awesome Kiyaru

Masuko has done little bit better so far and Kiyara has the tag titles anyway so he isn´t all that likely to get another title right now anyway

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Tadakuni Toshusai

Kikkawa won´t lose here

Elemental III, Kokan & Konda vs Sensationl Dragon, American Optimus & ????

Guess I use the mystery man win rule here

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

Snow Lizard´s aren´t going to go over anyone half-decent at this point

Masuno, Cobra & Scorpion vs Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM

Too much star power on one side to make the outcome anything else than a win for Cobra & friends

Mitsunari Fuganaga vs Takayuki Onodera

Onodera gets a somewhat rare win

Panther vs Yoshikawa vs Koyama vs Samurai

As Dragonmack said Panther seems to be highest on the ladders on these four

Kinnojo Horri vs Tiger Fuyuki

World Championship: Hiroaki Nakasawa vs Tasuku Iesada

- Sorry Iesada, you're not the Team INSPIRE member with a shot at dethroning Nakasawa.

Okazaki & Pathlow vs The Rebellion (Shimedzu & Miyamae)

- Bad night for INSPIRation. As the Rebellion show they are legitimate Main Event (Midgets.)

Junior CC: Marihito Masuko vs The Awesome Kiyaru

- The Masuko-Cobra line is building to something, so he picks up the win.

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Tadakuni Toshusai

- Nope, non-title or title Kikkawa is not laying down for Toshi.

Elemental III, Kokan & Konda vs Sensationl Dragon, American Optimus & ????

- I never bet against ??? I'll go with... uh... Re-Hooded Kudo as the ????

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

- I'm not a fan of the Bulls, but Bulls trump Lizzard. I learned that from the Big Bang Theory I think.

Masuno, Cobra & Scorpion vs Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM

- Seems a talent and overness gulf that won't be overcome.

Mitsunari Fuganaga vs Takayuki Onodera

- Booker's perogative!

Panther vs Yoshikawa vs Koyama vs Samurai

- Because he's Italic, or Incredible.

Kinnojo Horri vs Tiger Fuyuki

- I so hope this is by DQ as Tiger goes insano on Horri. THAT would be an amazing dark match.

World Championship: Hiroaki Nakasawa vs Tasuku Iesada

Nakasawa isn't going to lose the title to Iesada, especially not at a PPV.

Okazaki & Pathlow vs The Rebellion (Shimedzu & Miyamae)

Shimedzu pins Okazaki, to set up a CC match between them in the next couple of shows. Pathlow looks good for his team though

Junior CC: Marihito Masuko vs The Awesome Kiyaru

Masuko takes the win, followed by a Cobra win over E3 on the next show, and they can then face off in a grudge match / no 1 contenders match at the next PPV

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Tadakuni Toshusai

A surprising pick I'm sure :p

Elemental III, Kokan & Konda vs Sensationl Dragon, American Optimus & ????

The hint suggests Super Joshuya as the ???? and no reason for Dragon to job here

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

Masuno, Cobra & Scorpion vs Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM

Mitsunari Fuganaga vs Takayuki Onodera

3 squashes

Panther vs Yoshikawa vs Koyama vs Samurai

Panther is slightly higher in the pecking order right now

Kinnojo Horri vs Tiger Fuyuki

The only question here will be whether Tiger lasts more than a minute?

Pre- Show

Match A: Kinnojo Horri vs Tiger Fuyuki

As expected Kinnojo Horri made short work of Tiger Fuyuki in this pre-show squash, though to the resident enhancement talent's credit he did manage to last more than two minutes and got in some token offence before succumbing to the Hurricane Spinebuster.

Result: Kinnojo Horri [w] bt Tiger Fuyuki in 2:43 via pinfall (Hurricane Spinebuster)

Rating: C+

Match B: Stone Yoshikawa vs Red Panther vs The Incredible Koyama vs White Samurai

Par for the course pre-show Junior Division match, Red Panther picked up the win after the usual flurry of near-falls when he landed the Tumbleweed Legdrop upon White Samurai.

The show begins with an in-ring press conference promoting tonights main event the World Title match between Hiroaki Nakasawa and Tasuku Iesada, present with the title belt in front of him is BHOTWG President Tetsuzan Kaneko. Inevtiably there was a word of words between Nakasawa and Iesada.

Hiroaki Nakasawa: This is your second and maybe your last chance at defeating me for this belt Iesada-san.

Tasuko Iesada: Last time out YOUNG LION you were lucky, this time your luck will run out.

Hiroaki Nakasawa: You and your Team INSPIRE team-mates arrogance always astounds me.

Tasuko Iesada: It's not arrogance, it's confidence and we are always confident we will put you young punks in your place.

Hiroaki Nakasawa: Oh you really are deluded, funny thing is Iesada-san I DO have respect for you as a competitor and your LACK of respect for the younger generation will be your un-doing.

Tasuko Iesada: Looks like you'll be the one taking me far too lightly Nakasawa-san, do that and the only person walking out of here tonight with a belt round their waist will be me !

They then square up to one another, before some faceless security types on the order of Tetsuzan Kaneko get between them.

Match #1: Elemental III, Hyosuke Kokan & Kansuke Konda vs Sensational Dragon, American Optimus & Super Joshuya

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_ElementalIII.jpghttp://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_HyosukeKokan-1.jpghttp://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_KansukeKonda-1.jpg

The third man on the Dragon Feet 2K9 team does turn out to be Super Joshuya who appears to have defected from the Burning Sekigun. This turned out to be a decent opener, with the momentum swinging back and forth between both sides throughout leading up to an explosive flurry of finishers that began with Elemental III drilling American Optimus with the Earth Breaker (Double Underhook Powerbomb) and culminating with Super Joshuya pulling out the Postcard From Acapulco (Slingshot Hurrucanrana) on Hyosuke Kokan, just as the Size of the Fight man was setting up for a Foreshock (Flipping Senton Bomb) on Sensational Dragon.

Dragon then made sure of the win with a Dragon Suplex on Kokan, as Joshuya got off to a winning start with what looks to be his new stable mates.

Result: Sensational Dragon [w], American Optimus & Super Joshuya bt Elemental III, Hyosuke Kokan [L] & Kansuke Konda in 12:58 via pinfall (Dragon Suplex).

Rating: B-

Post Match Comments:

Super Joshuya: I know plenty are going to ask why ? Why have you defected to Dragon Feet 2K9 Joshuya? Well it's all about feeling part of something, as part of the Burning Sekigun I was just drifting along with no direction, now I have found a direction, I have found a group I believe in and a group that believes in me...Dragon Feet is where I belong.

Elemental III: It was very curious to see Joshuya-san line up against us. I don't think we did anything to drive him away, if he was unhappy with his position as part of Burning Sekigun then that was his problem. Tonight I'll be gracious enough to congratulate Joshuya-san on a winning start with his new team-mates but I know for sure Sensational Dragon does not share his spotlight with anyone, so I like many other's question Joshuya-san's decision, but hey good luck to him.

Match #2: Mitsunari Fuganaga vs Takayuki Onodera

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_MitsunariFugunaga.jpg vs http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TakayukiAvatar.jpg

Though there was little more than pride on the line here, this turned out to be a pretty good match. They started off with some mat wrestling exchanges as both tried to find an opening for their respective submission holds, some flash pinfalls were then exchanged before the match went up another gear with an intense exchange of strikes, before Onodera having seemingly gained the advantage went for the O2 Suplex only for Fuganaga to force a standing switch and then get a close two count with a German Suplex Hold.

Onodera then blocked a Running Knee Drive and after a flurry of fore-arms tried for the Call The Doctor as he lifted Fuganaga up off the canvas with an inverted facelock only for the RAGE man to slip out and then double underhook the arms to set up for the Who's Laughing Now but the 'Iron Man' was able to block that and then rock Fuganaga with a roaring elbow, before sending 'Mr Serious' down to the canvas with a drop toe hold, setting Fuganaga in place for the LRC (Arm Trap Crossface)....Fugananga managed to struggle across to the ropes to force the ropebreak but Onodera kept the pressure on dumping Fuganaga with a belly to belly suplex before re applying the LRC forcing Fugananaga to tap out.

Result: Takayuki Onodera [w] bt Mitsunari Fuganaga [L] in 10:08 via submission (LRC)

Rating: B-

Post Match Comments:

Takayuki Onodera: Though I'm enjoying teaming up with Toshusai-san right now and our focus is very much on becoming Burning World Tag Team champions, it was good to go out there and show everyone what I can do as a singles competitor. Lets hope my partner makes it two for two tonight for Wild Fire and humbles Kikkawa-san.

Even though the RAGE trio put up a decent fight in this fast paced Six Man Tag their Black Heart Brethren opponents always seemed to be a step ahead and though Little Fury (Shiomi & VENOM) came close to picking up a huge upset when they almost put Black Cobra away with their Engage The Rage combination (STO/Enziguri combo) in the end the Black Heart Brethren picked up the expected win with Shiomi falling victim to the Scorpion Stinger (Leg Trap Sunset Flip Powerbomb) courteousy of Junior Tag champion Golden Scorpion.

Result: Yasunobu Masuno, Black Cobra & Golden Scorpion [w] vs Toshiki Shibanumo, Yoshii Shiomi [L] & VENOM in 9:36 via pinfall (Scorpion Stinger)

Rating: B-

Yasunobu Masuno: Tonight you saw why Black Heart Brethren are the most dominant stable in all of Puroresu, we are the perfect mix of Power, technical ability and high flying skill.....that's something no one can contend with!

Match #4: Junior Contenders Circle:

Marihito Masuko vs The Awesome Kiyaru

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_MarihitoMasuko-1.jpg vs http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TheAwesomeKiyaru-1.jpg

Though not quite building to the same intensity as his growing feud with Kiyaru's stable mate Black Cobra, Masuko has had a fair bit of recent history with one half of the team that defeatd himself and Elemental III for the Junior Tag Titles at the start of the tour.

Given their fast and fluid styles, it was no suprise to them kick things off with some chain wrestling with an exchange seeing Masuko send Kiyaru out of the ring with a headscissors and then launch himself upon Kiyaru with a flip dive.

Masuko then pitched Kiyaru into the ring and set up for the Pink Dust (Double Jump Moonsault) but Kiyaru managed to stagger up to his feet and 'conveniently' against the ring ropes causing Masuko to lose his balance and fall into the tree of woe position. Kiyaru then took advantage with a running drop-kick before going up for moonsault and though Masuko manged to move out the way, Kiyaru was able to convert into the Instant Wizard by pulling off a standing moonsault for a two count.

Kiyaru then planted Masuko with a Falcon Arrow for another close two count before heading up top but the Painted Wonder was playing possum and sent Kiyaru crashing back in with a hurrucanrana. Masuko then tried to convert into the Pink Dream (Straight Jacket Triangle Choke) but Kiyaru was able to block and then counter into a quick pin attempt using his foot on the ropes.

Kiyaru's attempt at sneaking in a shortcut to victory failed and then after a series of standing switches the advantage moved back to Masuko who planted Kiyaru with the Masuko Cradle (Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex). That earned a very close two count, before Masuko went out on the apron before springboarding in to plant Kiyaru with the Into the White (Springboard Bulldog), at least that is what the plan was, but the Junior Tag champion was able to counter into a standing KIYARU EFFECT (Forward Somersault Stunner).

To Kiyaru's disbelief Masuko was able to kick out just befor referee Terakado's hand hit the mat for three. After pacing round for a bit to taunt the crowd, the 'Dark Enigma' went out on the apron and then launched himself back in with the ETHEREAL KILLER (Springboard Shooting Star Press) but Kiyaru's posteuring had allowed Masuko to regain his senses and the painted wonder was able to get his knees up and then entrap Kiyaru into the PINK DREAM.

Kiyaru managed to have enough fight left to force a rope break, but then as the action resumed he stumbled right into the MASUKO CRADLE SHOCK (Swinging Leg Hook Fireman's Carry Slam) and with Kiyaru already worn down from being in the Pink Dream, that was enough to earn 'the Painted Wonder' victory and put him back on the path towards challenging for the Junior Championship.

Result: Marihito Masuko [w] bt The Awesome Kiyaru [L] in 13:46 via pinfall (Masuko Cradle Shock).

Rating: B

Post Match Comments:

Marihito Masuko: The path towards glory begins once more, challengers will be placed in front of me and it is challenges I shall overcome. The Prize is within reach, the prize shall be won.

Match #5: Non Title:

Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Tadakuni Toshusai

This is growing to be one of those personal rivarlies, where the desperation to beat their 'rival' is all coming from one side of the rivalry. In the case here Toshusai is seemingly desperate to knock Kikkawa off his perch and show that himself and to a certain extent the '4th Generation' not only belong in the ring with Kikkawa and co. but also have the beating of them. Kikkawa on the other hand just see's Toshusai as just another young 'punk' who is simply not in his league.

Unsurprisingly this began as a straight up brawl with Toshusai showing that he wasn't going to let the 'King of Fighters' steam role over him. If anything Toshusai was able to rattle Kikkawa enough for, the INSPIRE leader to take a powder. Toshusai all fired up and wanting to keep the pressure on followed Kikkawa to the outside and they brawled into the crowd, where Kikkawa was able to take advantage by creaming Toshusai with a chair shot that busted 'Wild Charisma' open.

Senior referee Omura Umeki almost counted a bloodied Toshusai out, but 'Wild Charisma' showed he still had some fighting spirit left by beating the twenty count. Kikkawa then feeling that Toshusai was easy pickings, spent the next few minutes taunting Toshusai with derogatory offence such as paintbrush slaps but all that served to do was fire Toshusai up and when Kikkawa did decide it was time to put Toshusai away when he planted the determined youngster with KIKKAWA DRIVER, Toshusai incredibly just shook it off...gave the INSPIRE leader his now customary 'double bird' signal and then planted the King of Fighters with a SPINE SHOCKER before collapsing to the mat out of sheer exhaustion.

Umeki came close to making a double count, before both staggered back up to their feet where a bloodied but revitalised Toshusai was 'first to the punch' every time, before rocking Kikkawa with SHOCK KICK (Bicycle Kick). The King of Fighters stayed on his feet but then a second Shock Kick put Kikkawa down to his knees, then a third saw the INSPIRE leader slump to the mat.

Kikkawa just about kicked out before 'Wild Charisma' practically begged the King of Fighters to get back up to his feet before setting up for a Spine Shocker but Kikkawa was able to block and then disorientate Toshusai with a rake to the eyes. Kikkawa then levelled Toshusai with a Lariat only for Wild Charisma to defiantly return to his feet but Toshusai staggered right into a boot to the mid-section and that was enough to leave Toshusai winded enough for Kikkawa to lift him up into the vertical suplex position and then sending him crashing down to the mat with the INCENDIARY TOWER (Vertical Suplex Powerbomb). No one ever kicks out of the Incendiary Tower.

Result: Tadiyuki Kikkawa [w] bt Tadakuni Toshusai [L] in 12:19 via pinfall (Incendiary Tower).

Rating: B

Post Match Comments:

Tadiyuki Kikkawa: (mockingly) KIKAAAWAAAH ! KIKAAAWAAAH ! Did you ever really think that lunatic was ever going to beat the King of Fighters? That young punk isn't good enough to even lace my boots let alone step into the same ring as someone of my class and stature.

Snow Lizzard put up enough of a fight to preven this from being a total squash, but in this clash of veteran tag teams The Raging Bulls are just simply quicker and stronger and it comes as no surprise when the Bulls secure victoy, with Shiraishi falling victim to the Raging Impact (Spear/Running Boot combo).

Result: Eiji Hamacho [w] & Chuichi Sanda bt Sanetomo Shiraishi [L] & Sessue Kawate in 6:15 via pinfall (Raging Impact)

Rating: C+

Post Match Comments:

Eiji Hamacho: There was time where you wouldn't say, 'I know it was only Snow Lizzard' but these days a win over Snow Lizzard is just that. This turned out to be a really good semi main event, with both sides unable to really secure a significant advantage throughout the contest. It was a contest of the Rebellion's superior tag team understanding against the win at all costs attitude of their Team INSPIRE opponents.

As the pace and the intensity of the match grew both sides upped the ante, with The Rebellion pulling out several of their signature double teams (Russian Legsweep/Neckbreaker combo on Okazaki, Slinghsot Suplex/Leg Lariat combo on Okazaki and the Rope Hang Front Suplex/Double stomp on Pathlow) only for their Team INSPIRE opponents to frustrate The Rebellion with combination of resilliency and what they would call resourcefulness and others borderline cheating (suspect low blows, cheap shots from the apron etc).

If anything as the match wore on The Rebellion were begining to look like they were running out of ideas frustated that their signature double teams had been unable to get the job done and despite having no real experience of tagging together Okazaki Pathlow pulled out some neat double teams of their own that also brought them close to victory including a Superkick/German Suplex combination on Shimedzu.

As the match moved towards it's conclusion Okazaki and Pathlow set up Shimedzu up into the tree of woe position with Pathlow heading up top, but just as the hard hitting gaijin was about to come crashing down upon Shimedzu's mid-section with the Heart Compactor, Miyamae was able to nail Pathlow with a running boot from the ring apron. Shimedzu then rolled out of the tree of woe position and sidestepped a charging Okazaki who went crashing into Pathlow.

Okazaki and Pathlow then found themselves stacked in the tree of woe, to receive a double facewash from The Rebellion. With Okazaki now taken out, The Rebellion then set up Pathlow for the Spiked Skulldrop to secure a hard fought victory in an exciting fast paced semi main event that reminded everyone that despite currently concentrating more on singles success, The Rebellion can still put it together as a tag team.

Result: Shimedzu [w] & Miyamae bt Masaaki Okazaki & John Pathlow [L] in 17:51 via pinfall (Spiked Skull Drop).

Rating: B+

Post Match Comments:

Shimedzu: Right now my focus may be on becoming a singles champion for the first time but whenever I step into the ring to team alongside my best friend here Miyamae-san, magic is always sure to happen.

Miyamae: That's right Shimedzu-san, be it together or in singles action The Rebellion will steal the show.

Masaaki Okazaki: You know what plenty of people out there accuse Team INSPIRE of being arrogant and having respect for no one but in this business you earn that respect. Maybe just maybe Shimedzu-san, Miyamae-san you have yet to earn that respect as singles competitors but as a Tag Team you are one of the best in the business, perhaps you should stick to what you know best.

Match #8: World Championship:

Hiroaki Nakasawa vs Tasuku Iesada

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_BHOTWGWorld1.jpg

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/HiroakiNakasawa-1.jpg?t=1268429324 vs http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/TasukuIesada.jpg?t=1268429656

If Nakasawa comes through this, it will be the eighth succesful defence of his second reign as World Champion.

Nakasawa and Iesada have been no strangers to one another in recent times, having had high profile matches in the semi finals of last years Super 10 Cup and a recent contest for Nakasawa's World Championship at Fire Dream of the Immortals. With both winning each of their last two contests this could be seen as something of a 'rubber' match between them and the war of words in their in-ring press conference at the start of the show, only seems to have intensified the mutual dislike they have for one another.

With the pomp and ceremony of the introductions out of the way, they wearily circle one another before coming together in a collar and elbow tie up, withi size advantage that instantly favour Nakasawa and the champion is able to power Iesada into a corner before unleashing a flurry of fore-arms. Iesada wriggles out but Nakasawa remains in control, this pattern of action with Nakasawa simply over-powering Iesada follows, until the 2009 Super 10 Cup Winner has enough and takes a powder.

Nakasawa being the champion, patiently waits for Iesada to get back into the ring and when the Team INSPIRE man does it's move of the same culminating in a Lariat from Nakasawa that puts Iesada down to the canvas for the first pin attempt of the match that see's the INSPIRE man kick out and then take another powder much to the crowd's frustration.

Nakasawa however remains patient and waits for Iesada to re-enter, this time however Iesada ducks a Lariat and then rolls out to the other side of the ring, he then repeats the same trick and his tedious mind games start to grate enough with Nakasawa that this time despite it not really being in his best interests an increasingly frustrated Nakasawa does give chase.

Thats when Iesada blindsides Nakasawa with an elbow shot and then sends the champion shoulder first into the ring post with an Irish whip, turning the tide of his match in his favour. Iesada then pitched Nakasawa back into the ring for a quick attempt and though the H-Bomb was able to kick out, Iesada was now in control as he methodically worked over the arm and shoulder that he already begun to done damage to.

However despite the relentless pressure Iesada was applying, the champion found a second wind to battle back to his feet and then level the INSPIRE man with a Lariat, before collapsing down to one knee clutching his arm. Iesada then came charging at Nakasawa, only for the H-Bomb to drive Iesada down to the mat with a Uranage slam.

A weak cover from Nakasawa followed, before they rose back to their feet and engaged in a strike battle that saw them taunt one another to hit each other harder and despite being a semi one armed wrestler at this stage, the brawling style definitely favoured the champion more and a flurry of fore-arms had Iesada seemingly dazed enough for Nakasawa to set the INSPIRE man up for the Compression Powerbomb but as Nakasawa lifted Iesada up, the Super 10 Cup winner was able to counter into a Victory Roll and then transition into the IESADA SPECIAL III (Victory Roll transitioned Cross Arm Breaker).

Ring positioning however was favourable enough to Nakasawa, for the H-Bomb to stretch out a leg onto the bottom rope and force a rope break. After the rope break Iesada unleashed a flurry of strikes and kicks to remain in control, before attempting to take Nakasawa over with the IESADA BRIDGE (Northern Lights Suplex) but Nakasawa was able to block and then plant Iesada with another Uranage Slam. Nakasawa then levelled Iesada with a Lariat, before clutching at his arm and then making a weak cover that Iesada was able to easily kick out of.

But Nakasawa kept the pressure on, fighting through the pain to plant Iesada with a vertical suplex for a two count. The World Champion then lifted Iesada up for a Nakasawa Neckbreaker but the INSPIRE man was able to block and then plant the H-Bomb with a Russian Leg-sweep.......

That lead to a two count for Iesada, who then attempted to once again synch in the Iesada Special, only for Nakasawa to fight his way out and then back to his feet before rocking the Super 10 Cup winner with a series of fore-arm shots....that left Iesada dazed enough for Nakasawa to set up for the H-Bomb but Iesada managed to slip off and then rock the World Champion with a drop-kick. Iesada then took Nakasawa off his feet with a chop block before quickly rolling Nakasawa up into the IESADA LOCKDOWN (Cross Legged Pin

One......

Two......

Thr........

Iesada was a split second away from being the new World Champion but Nakasawa had just enough left to power his way out. Iesada however was deterred by that and managed to lock on the IESADA SPECIAL and this time he had it locked on right in the middle of the ring......

Nakasawa tried to inch his way to the ropes but the pressure that Iesada was putting onto his arm, saw the H-Bomb begin to fade......

With Nakasawa's resolve seemingly starting to wither away, Umeki checked by raising the champions arm......

There was no response......

Umeki raises the arm again.......

There was still no response from Nakasawa.......

Umeki gave Nakasawa one last chance to respond......

This time Nakasawa did respond, suddenly finding a second wind to begin powering his way towards the ring ropes and despite being almost spent, Nakasawa managed to manage the feat.

After the rope break, Iesada took Nakasawa off his feet once again with a basement drop-kick and then went for a quick cover......

One.....

Two.....

Thr......

Nakasawa still had enough left to kick out, and the frustation building up in Iesada was there for all to see. Looking to 'surprise' the champion Iesada then went out of his comfort zone and headed up for the top-rope and despite taking his time...Nakasawa remained rooted to the mat before Iesada came crashing down with a diving knee drop but the World Champion managed to move out of the way at the last split second.

Iesada still looked the fresher man as they got back to their feet and came charging at Nakasawa only to be pitched over the top-rope with backbody drop from the World Champion. Iesada then got back up onto the ring-apron before being mat with a fore-arm shot from Nakasawa, who then attempted to bring Iesada back in with a suplex only for the INSPIRE man to counter with a jawbreaker that staggered Nakasawa back.

Iesada then headed towards the top turnbuckle once again but got cut off by Nakasawa who then joined Iesada on the top turnbuckle, where the two exchange a series of fore-arm strikes and it was Nakasawa who came out on top of the exchange as he brought Iesada crashing back into the ring with a Superplex.

Nakasawa then waited to Iesada to stagger back up to his feet and then planted the Super 10 Cup winner with a NAKASAWA NECKBREAKER (Inverted Swinging Neckbreaker).......

One........

Two......

Thr.......

Iesada kicked out but a determined Nakasawa kept the pressure on pummelling Iesada with a flurry of fore-arm shots before planting Iesada with the H-BOMB ! (Crucifix Powerbomb).......

One........

Two......

Thr.......

Iesada showed great fighting spirit by kicking out once again, but survival is all he had going at this point and Nakasawa remained determined to get the job done, lifting Iesada back to his feet and then sending the INSPIRE crashing back to the mat with a second H-BOMB !

One.....

Two......

Three !!

Iesada had given Nakasawa a tough battle but once again the H-Bomb showed just why he is the World Champion in BHOTWG !.

Result: Hiroaki Nakasawa [w] bt Tasuko Iesada [L] in 32:31 via pinfall (H-Bomb)

Hiroaki Naksawa makes V8 Defence of Burning World Championship

Rating: B+

As with all successful defences from the World Champion, the show ends with the champion celebrating in front of the fans and doing a victory speech that puts himself over as champion, the company and all the fans for coming to the show and supporting BHOTWG.

Rating: B

Post Match Comments:

Hiroaki Nakasawa: Every time I step into that ring, I know it will be a tough match and there were times I was close to tapping that title away when Iesada-san had me in the Iesada Special....I was in agony but then the determination to remain champion and to show that I am the best took over. For me to no longer be World Champion, is something unthinkable right now and whoever beats me will have to beat me until I have nothing left to give.

Tasuku Iesada: Maybe I did understimate you Nakasawa-san.....and I'm kicking myself for doing so. You may not be the wrestler I am, but you are sure as hell a resillient one but next time we step into that ring and believe you me there will be next time I will be more than prepared and I don't think next time you'll be as prepared for me.

________________________________________________________

Overall: B+

Onodera's Viewpoint: A very solid show from top to bottom. Main event could have been slightly better and there's a sense that the fans have seen enough of Nakasawa and Iesada getting it on but all we're talking about here is the difference between a very good main event as opposed to an out-right classic.

Super Joshuya - Why he is now with Dragon Feet 2K9

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_SuperJoshuya-1.jpg

Junior Division veteran Super Joshuya gave an exclusive interview to BHOTWGPuroresu.com's Naruki Yoshino explaining why he defected from the Burning Sekigun to Dragon Feet 2K9 and what the future holds for him. Here is what he had to say:

On Joining Dragon Feet 2K9: They just seem like the right fit for me, it's a decision I should have made earlier. I got speaking to Optimus backstage a few weeks back. That's the original Optimus by the way and he kind of advised me that joining up with Dragon Feet could be a good move for me.

How Accepting were Dragon Feet 2K9 of you joining ?: Oh they were a bit weary of first, because those four have become a pretty tight knit unit, that's something missing with the Burning Sekigun. But I explained to them my history with the original Optimus, who was in the original Dragon Feet and that we had a succesful team together and reminded everyone that back in 06 we were the Junior Tag champs after that they seemed accepting of my credentials and admitted they could do with an extra hand.

How do you think your decision to defect has gone down with the Burning Sekigun ? : Look how they re-act is their problem, I've got no real problem with those guys, I just felt like I wasn't really part of that group anymore. More than likely the guys at the top like Nakasawa-san and Horri-san would have barely noticed I've gone. My fellow juniors like Elemental III may have took it a bit harder but lets face it Burning Sekigun will always be associated with Elemental.

In fact Elemental III questioned your move in his recent Post Match interview, following your winning debut for Dragon Feet, saying that he can't see Sensational Dragon sharing the limelight with anyone:

Look Dragon's the top man in the Junior Division right now and I wouldn't expect him to share his spotlight with anyone but if I had to play second fiddle to anyone right now it would be him.

Does that me you no longer harbour ambitions to be Junior champion?: No that's not what I meant at all, I will always have the ambition to be the very best in Burning Hammer's Junior Division but right now I accept that Dragon is the best right now and I also accept that my form of late hasn't been too great and that I need to rebuild.

So it's a case of you hoping that a fresh change of scenery will help you revive your flagging career: I don't really appreciate you referring to my career as flagging but I suppose yes I am hoping that joining with the Dragon Feet 2K9 guys will be a revitalising experience and there is always the Junior Tag Titles to go after.....

Are you implying that you will be teaming up with American Optimus?: That is what the immediate plan will be.

So you're trying to relieve old glories then?: Look my old team with the legendary Optimus may have influenced my decision to form a team with American Optimus but this a new team and together we will make our own legend.

The Junior Tag Division is ultra competitive right now what makes you think you will have the edge over the likes of Black Heart Flying Squadron, Universal Excellence and your old stable mates Size of the Fight amongst others?: Right now we realise we don't have the edge over those teams but with time myself and American Optimus will become as good as if not better than them...you could say we plan to make an OPTIMUM IMPACT!

The way you said Optimum Impact, suggests to me you and American Optimus have already thought up a Team name for your fledgling duo: Yes Optimum Impact will be our name, but it's more than a name it's a statement of intent.

BHOTWG visit the Kagawa Sports Field on the Island of Shikoku on Wednesday 5th May for the latest leg of their Burn, Don't Freeze Tour. The Spotlight will be on the very best of the Junior Division as the Contenders Circle match between Black Cobra and Elemental III will headline the show. These two had an outstanding match last month and with the fans salivating for a rematch between these two, they have been given the 'ball' so to speak to bring the show home in the main event. Last time out Black Cobra emerged triumphant but can the Third Generation icon even the score and put himself on the path towards becoming Junior Division champion?

There will be more Contenders Circle action in the semi main event this time for the World Championship as Team INSPIRE's Masaaki Okazaki takes on Dragon Feet 2K9's Shimedzu. A win for Shimedzu would effectively earn him a shot at taking the most coveted prize in wrestling off Hiroaki Nakasawa, whilst victory for Okazaki would reignite his own claims for a title shot.

There is also a main event quality Six Man Tag as the Buring Sekigun trio of World Champion Hiroaki Nakasawa, perennial contender Kinnojo Horri and Junior Division star Marihito Masuko take on the Black Heart Brethren trio of World Tag Team Champions Yasuhiko Taira and Yasunobu Masuno plus one half of the Junior Tag champions in Golden Scorpion. There may only be pride on the line but any time the Burning Sekigun and Black Heart Brethren clash they are determined to show they are more dominant than the other.

There is also a salivating mixed weight Tag Team match to look forward to as Junior Division Champion Sensational Dragon teams with Dragon Feet 2K9 stable-mate Miyamae to take on the Team INSPIRE duo of Tasuku Iesada and Dragon's up-coming challenger at Sword of Destiny John Pathlow.

The Raging Bulls and Wild Fire are both looking to earn a shot at the World Tag Team Championship and they will clash on this show, with the victors set to earn another shot at the belt's currently held by Black Magic. Whilst Black Magic's stable mates the Black Heart Flying Squadron will have a keen eye on who emerges victorious from a three way Tag match between division stalwarts Size of the Fight, recent challengers Universal Excellence and the newly formed duo of American Optimus and Super Joshuya, who it is revealed in a recent interview with Joshuya are to be known as 'Optimum Impact'.

Rounding out the show there is more Tag Team action as two former Tag Team champions collide in The Behemoths and Snow Lizzard, whilst Roku Sotomura gets an opportunity to face the King of Fighters Tadiyuki Kikkawa in non title action.

For those who get to the Kagawa Sports Field early, they will witness bonus action with the RAGE trio of Toshiki Shibanumo and Little Fury take on The Incredible Koyama, White Samurai and Fukusbaru Inao, whilst Mitsunari Fuganaga goes up against Masutaro Kataoka.

I´m likely wrong here but since Shimedzu just got a win against Okazaki in tag team action it would be Okazaki´s "turn" to win and I´m not sure if Shimedzu is ready to challenge the main title yet anyway.

Nakasawa, Horri & Masuko vs Masuno, Taira & Scorpion

As much as I like Black Heart Brethren´s they are slightly lower on rankings than their opponents

Sensational Dragon & Miyamae vs Iesada & Pathlow

I don´t see Iesada loosing here and Pathlow could well get a tag win over the champ before their match espesially since you said that Dragon isn´t supposed to be all dominating champion

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Wild Fire (Toshusai & Onodera)

Not really sure here, but with Toshusai constantly clashing with Kikkawa I think that he needs the win most here

Size of the Fight (Kokan & Konda) vs Universal Excellence (Yasujiro & Kurofuji) vs Optimum Impact (American Optimus & Super Joshuya)

Any team could well win this one on my opinion but I give it to most experienced team

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Roku Sotomura

i doubt I need to explain this one

The Behemoths (Yuasha & Kanishoki) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

Behemoths are slighty higher on ladders

Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM vs Koyama, White Samurai & Inao

Shiomi & VENOM seems like the most important guys in this one so they win

Masutaro Kataoka vs Mitsunari Fuganaga

Fuganaga just had a B- match with Onodera so i assume that he gets a win here because of that

Junior CC: Black Cobra vs Elemental III

I think we all know this is heading towards Cobra v Masuko at the PPV

Contenders Circle: Masaaki Okazaki vs Shimedzu

I can't think of a logical reason to give Okazaki the win here - all it would do is stall Shimedzu's singles push in favour of Inspire's no 3 wrestler - and given Nakasawa has beaten the no 2 twice now, that would be simply crazy (barring some serious interference during the match)

Nakasawa, Horri & Masuko vs Masuno, Taira & Scorpion

Star power and paint beats mullets and mask

Sensational Dragon & Miyamae vs Iesada & Pathlow

Iesada is higher than Miyamae, while the champ losing in tag action to his future challenger is pretty standard good booking

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Wild Fire (Toshusai & Onodera)

Whilst this willbe very competitive, Wild Fire have more upside.

Size of the Fight (Kokan & Konda) vs Universal Excellence (Yasujiro & Kurofuji) vs Optimum Impact (American Optimus & Super Joshuya)

I'll go with the new team cos a) you gave them a name right off the bat, and b) both the others have already challenged BHFS (I think!) and lost, so best to have the fresh title match

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Roku Sotomura

The Behemoths (Yuasha & Kanishoki) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM vs Koyama, White Samurai & Inao

Masutaro Kataoka vs Mitsunari Fuganaga

The last four are all fairly straightforward picks

Junior CC: Black Cobra vs Elemental III

- Cobra's had enough shots, time to give E3 a shot, plus it makes Cobra's eventual victory all the sweeter.

Contenders Circle: Masaaki Okazaki vs Shimedzu

- Because I mark for Shimedzu and he nearly defeated Kikkawa.

Nakasawa, Horri & Masuko vs Masuno, Taira & Scorpion

- Horri and Nakasawa can't get along leading to the slight upset. Yes, I'm likely wrong but this is how I'd book it. Horri and Nakasawa falling out leaving Masuko alone to fall to the combined power of Masuno, Taira and Scorp.

Sensational Dragon & Miyamae vs Iesada & Pathlow

- It's never good to bet against SD but unless Pathlow wants to Watson his stay in Team INSPIRE he needs to be seen as a credible Super Junior threat.

Raging Bulls (Hamacho & Sanda) vs Wild Fire (Toshusai & Onodera)

- Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiild Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis-moooooph! Raging Bull gore!

Size of the Fight (Kokan & Konda) vs Universal Excellence (Yasujiro & Kurofuji) vs Optimum Impact (American Optimus & Super Joshuya)

- Yes, I"m wrong again but one day I'll be right and tigerkinney will stop hating UE and WLW.

Non Title: Tadiyuki Kikkawa vs Roku Sotomura

- What's the Japanese version of squash?

The Behemoths (Yuasha & Kanishoki) vs Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate)

- S'no Lizzard here.

Shibanumo, Shiomi & VENOM vs Koyama, White Samurai & Inao

- White Samurai = sashimi break.

Masutaro Kataoka vs Mitsunari Fuganaga

- Who?

Not really sure where you getting the idea from that I hate Universal Excellence and WLW?

Takayuki Onodera (user character) has never actively gone around saying he hates WLW, he's not gone around saying he's secretly their biggest fan either...he's neutral on them. He appreciates the talent that is there in that company but he's loyal to BHOTWG.

As for Universal Excellence, they've got a pretty good push straight out of the gate, challenging for the Junior Tag Titles in a pretty short amount of time since forming as a full time team, plus I'm pretty sure I've put over just how well Yasujiro & Kurofuji, work as a team (in the game they have good chemistry as a team) add to the fact that in my starting roster bio's I put over Yasujiro as one of the good guys in the locker-room and it's pretty ludicrous to think that I hate/feel like burying Universal Excellence.

There isn't really anyone I hate on the roster, I'd say Watson is at the level of dislike and I will fully admit that I could happily do without The Behemoths (Yuasha & Kanishoki). I'd even say that I kind of like Snow Lizzard (Shiraishi & Kawate) in their own crappy way, simply because they are are so far past their sell by date and broken down but I kind of like them as they are these BHOTWG loyalists, that just seem to be able to stick around. :p

Anyway aiming to get the next show posted up Friday, so if anyone wishes to get in some predictions then you've got till then to do so.
