SWF (SHaynes23) vs. TCW (nimo34): Boom Goes the Dynamite!!!

It's a battle that is fought between best friends across America every single day. Who's better, the SWF or TCW? You might hear, "TCW is so boring, all they do is wrestle." You might hear a response of, "Yeah? Well at least TCW has wrestlers and not entertainers." Generally things go down hill from there. This war takes that kind of toll on people. It's not one where you can love each promotion equally. You are either a fan of SWF or you are a fan of TCW, there isn't much middle ground. This war has been fought for years, and while SWF has a head start on TCW, the latter has been gaining ground and putting on quality programming since Tommy Cornell took over several years ago. As a new decade rolls in, this war has been scaled up to a whole new level. Both sides have made it known that they will pull no punches, it's going to be all out war until only one promotion can be left standing at the end of the day.

Here's a look at how we got to this point, as told by the definite source on all things in the wrestling world, Adam Ryland.

Wrestling started becoming a real profession in the US around the 1960s, which is generally known as the "Traditional Era". Prior to this it had been little more than a sideshow attraction, but the 60s saw the emergence of several regional territories, with wrestlers travelling from promotion to promotion. It was hard for wrestlers to become real superstars, as they rarely stayed in one place long enough to really become dominant, but some carved out good reputations for themselves and earned great livings - amongst these were men like Dan Stone and George DeColt, who would later go on to be successful promoters. The major territories at this time included Championship Wrestling from Boston (run by Gene Plumelli), Dick The Devastator's All-American Florida Wrestling, the Tri-State area's American Pro Wrestling Federation, California Pro Wrestling (headed by Preston Holt), and the Texas Wrestling League.

The end of this situation began in around 1978, when a relatively new promotion called Supreme Wrestling Federation, under the leadership of a young promoter called Richard Eisen, began building up an impressive roster by offering long-term contracts to some of the most popular wrestlers, which was unheard of in those days. By 1980, SWF was able to put on wrestling's first pay-per-view event, which marked the beginning of the "Supreme Era". SWF became the national powerhouse, with clever marketing and showmanship making the smaller promotions look amateurish. By the mid 80s, almost all the regional promotions had been put out of business, and SWF was almost entirely dominant, with their headline wrestlers like Sam Strong and Rip Chord being national superstars.

It was over 15 years before another promotion managed to rise and take on the might SWF, and this happened in December 1996 when Hollyweird Grappling Company debuted, kicking off the "Modern Era". With a millionaire funding them, HGC brought in Strong and Chord (who had both left SWF many years ago) on big money contracts to provide star power, and populated the rest of their roster with former SWF stars (like the Vessey Brothers) and the cream of the independent leagues (such as Ricky Dale Johnson and Liberty). The tactic worked, as they were able to go head-to-head with SWF almost immediately, and were accepted as a viable competitor by the fans. The most recent twist happened in late 2004, when HGC were taken over by famous wrestler Tommy Cornell, and renamed Total Championship Wrestling.

Since this history was written, Cornell has continued to develop TCW, and they continue to gain momentum and are working towards being neck and neck with SWF. Many people believe that if one great booker would step in for either of the promotions, it could cause that company to surge ahead and provide a definite finale to this war. With the current booking situations in both promotions in current flux, and mystery surrounding both, this could be the time that one of the promotions is set to take off and fire the shot that elevates this battle to a level it's never seen before. This very volatile situation is like a powder keg. If the right series of events should happen, stand back, it could get deadly. Are you ready? The spark is about to be lit...Boom Goes the Dynamite!!!

So the WWE diary is dead?

Regardless, this should be interesting.

Yeah, it is. The data I was playing with wasn't quite ready for deep immersion and wasn't all the way complete yet to go with 10 apparently. Nimo and I got to talking and wanted to do another duel dynasty as well, so TCW-SWF seemed like a really good idea.

Tonight kicks off another decade of exciting Supreme Wrestling action on SWF's Supreme TV. Questions are surrounding the SWF Universe after Eric Eisen made a shocking return last month and took out both Jack Bruce and Rich Money on his way to capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. Bruce and Money are both furious over Eisen coming out of nowhere like that, and both want shots to take the World Title off of him. You can bet that this issue will begin to be hammered out as we are only two weeks out from SWF's first pay-per-view event of the year, When Hell Freezes Over.

In other news, there will be a big title defense on Supreme TV tonight as the dominant North American Champion, Brandon James will put his title on the line against a man that has been on a very hot streak lately, Lobster Warrior. James is only two weeks out of a big match at the pay-per-view with Joe Sexy, so if he wants that match to be another big paying title defense, he's going to have to get through the man from under the sea tonight. You can bet Emma Chase will do everything in her power to keep the title on her man too.

Finally, it is with great honor that the Supreme Wrestling Federation announces the birth of a new championship to add to the three already in existence in SWF today. This title will be a very special one, the SWF Television Championship. This is a title that the fans can see defended regularly on free television, and it will not be up for grabs on pay-per-views, making sure it will be a title close to the hearts of the fans that they can see each and every match for. The title will be up for grabs in an eight man tournament, with the first two rounds taking place tonight on Supreme TV. Be sure to tune in to see all this action, plus much much more!

This is promising. Like the way the preview is written, just nice attention to detail with the mention of how a ppv title defence would pay well for Brandon, and the TV title being close to fans' hearts. Having both sides of the story within one game world could be good, hope to see an all out "war" really develop, live up to the diary's moniker and all that xD

It's a new year and all the TCW stars are eager to make it their own. The first Total Wrestling of 2010 will be coming live from Wisconsin Gardens. 2009 saw a lot of battles and bad blood. The Syndicate will surely try and dominate this year like they have in the past, but there is no doubting Ricky Dale Johnson and Joey Minnesota will do what it takes to stop that from happening as they have been a thorn in Tommy Cornell and Wolf Hawkins' side for the last few months. A big question on everyone's mind is "Will Johnson and Minnesota be able to stop the force that is The Syndicate?"

Wolf Hawkins will actually be in the night's main event where he will take on Bryan Vessey. Vessey has had a hard return to the TCW ring solely because of Eddie Peak. Ever since Vessey's return back in October, Peak has done all he can to make Vesey's life a living hell. Bryan Vessey isn't going down without a fight, but he might have to watch his back for the "Hardcore Assassin" in this intense main event.

In other action, Troy Tornado will be looking to get some revenge on newcomer Benny Benson. Benson answered Tornado's open challenge last week on Total Wrestling and was able to pull an upset. These two will take on each other for a second straight week. Will Tornado be able to right what went wrong last week or will Benny Benson repeat his success?

Also, the war over the TCW World Heavyweight Championship continues between the champ, Rocky Golden and Sam Keith. The veteran, Keith, is the first challenge Golden has had as the World Heavyweight Champion. Keith is known for being decorated and determined, but Golden is looking to get Sam Keith off his back and his belt once and for all. All this and more, Tuesday tune in to Total Wrestling!

SWF Supreme TV

Tuesday, Week 1, January 2010

Live from Mayor Street Arena (New England)

Attendance: 15,000 (SELLOUT!)

This week’s episode of Supreme TV gets underway with the familiar cha-ching that signals the entrance of only one man, Rich Money. Money makes his way out to the ring looking very angry, and why wouldn’t he be? In recent weeks it was looking like a strong possibility that he would take the World Heavyweight Championship off Jack Bruce, but then Eric Eisen returned and he was taken out by Bruce. Money makes his way to the ring, and without any hesitation or any delay, he begins to speak to the SWF Universe.

Rich Money

I know a lot of people in the back don’t particularly like me. I’ve never been the nicest guy to some people, but did I deserve what has happened to me lately? Myself and Jack Bruce were engaged in some great battles for the World Heavyweight Championship, then that weasel Eric Eisen comes out of nowhere, and before anybody knows it he’s got the World Title and I’m taken out by Jack Bruce. Where did that come from? I’ve been trying to right lots of wrongs I’ve committed in the past, but evidently I was wrong in doing that. From this day on, I care about one man, Rich Money. And I care about one thing, winning my first World Heavyweight Championship. And I intend to do just that. In two weeks we have our first pay-per-view of the year, When Hell Freezes Over, and Eric Eisen, I’m challenging you!

Almost as quickly as he said that, the music of the former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Bruce echoed around the arena and the crowd shot up to their feet to greet the man they think should still be the Heavyweight Champion of the world. He makes his way down to the ring and Rich Money looks very apprehensive as the man who took him out stands before him.

Jack Bruce

Easy Rich, you’ve got nothing to worry about, I’m not going to attack you. You and I both know those were unique circumstances. I am here to argue a point with you though. We both know I should still the champion around here. That no good Eric Eisen blindsided both of us and now he’s strutting around with the championship. But if anybody should get a title shot at the pay-per-view, it should be me! So Eric Eisen, I’m challenging you to a championship match at When Hell Freezes Over!

And right on cue, the music of the World Champion hits, and Eric Eisen is met with a chorus of boos from the fans who hated the way that he returned to SWF. Eisen doesn’t join the men in the ring, but he has a microphone and is at the top of the entrance ramp to speak with them.

Eric Eisen

It feels good to be back here at Mayor Street Arena! It’s quite the shot to my self-esteem, seeing all the losers around this place makes me realize how truly talented I am. Anyways, onto pressing matters at hand. You two both want a shot at me at the pay-per-view, well then it only makes sense that we have a triple threat match for the title! But……there’s no way that’s going to happen. I will face one of you, and tonight we will decide who that is. I’ve been told to let you know that the board of directors has made a match for tonight, with the winner going to face me at When Hell Freezes Over. It will be Jack Bruce against Rich Money! Oh yeah, and one other thing boys, there’s going to be a guest referee, ME!

When Supreme TV comes back from break, the camera goes to the announcer’s table, where Duane Fry has an announcement that was first picked up on swf.com about the creation of the Television Championship.

Duane Fry

As many of you no doubt heard this week, we have a new championship here in SWF, the World Television Championship. Now to make sure the best possible champion is crowned, there is going to be an eight man tournament that starts next. The winner of this tournament will be our first ever Television Champion. There are many unknowns about this tournament, but one thing is for sure, it’s gonna be a barn burner!

First Round of the Television Championship Tournament

Gregory Black vs. Marc DuBois

Black’s Backstory: It’s highly publicized that Black used to compete under the name Groucho Bling as part of High Concept. Black has left that name and persona behind though as he focuses now on his amazing athletic skills and his solo career. In terms of raw skills, few match him on the SWF roster.

DuBois’ Backstory: Marc DuBois is one of the brightest young starts in the entire wrestling industry, and he looks to put some gold around his waist in this tournament. He is considered a can’t miss talent, but many question if his ego gets in the way of him developing faster.

Finish: After a very good back and fourth opener to this tournament, Black hit his patented Tornado DDT, the Fade to Black to get the first round victory.

Result: Gregory Black d. Marc DuBois @ 9:24 via Pinfall

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/grade_bminus.jpg

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The camera goes backstage, where Emma Chase is standing by with her client, the North American Champion, Brandon James.

Emma Chase

Before you stands the most dominant athlete walking the halls of SWF, or any other organization for that matter, “Big Money” Brandon James. And that’s just what my client is, big money. When big matches come around, you can bet that Brandon is going to be money in them. In his short time here in SWF he has already captured the North American Championship, and we have a gameplan to work him up through the ranks to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. But tonight he faces some idiot dressed in a lobster costume. Joe Sexy, don’t you worry, Brandon will be successfully defending his championship tonight, and you will get a chance at it at When Hell Freezes Over, but as the title suggests, you will beat Brandon for this title in fact when Hell freezes over.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/JackGiedroyc.jpghttp://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/Valiant.jpghttp://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/vs.jpghttp://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/BigSmackScott.jpghttp://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/KurtLaramee.jpg

Giedroyc and Valiant vs. The Pain Alliance

Giedroyc and Valiant’s Backstory: This unlikely pairing captured tag team gold last month and continue to gain experience together each and every week. One wouldn’t think such a patriot as Valiant would be up to teaming with a non-American, but Valiant has taken to it very well and is embracing the British style of Jack Giedroyc.

Pain Alliance’s Backstory: As their name suggests, this team is all about inflicting pain on their opponents. Some people will argue that it is through watching them wrestle, but no body can deny the fact that they dish out the pain in the ring. Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee have held the titles before, and have gotten back together to try to get a taste of gold again.

Finish: Valiant was able to get a hot tag in, but he wasn’t able to deliver on this head of steam because he was dumped on his head by a Switchblade Powerslam from Laramee and the champions lost this match just like that.

Result: The Pain Alliance d. Giedroyc and Valiant @ 8:24 via Pinfall

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/grade_c.jpg

The Amazing Bumfholes vs. Marat Khoklov

The Bumfhole’s Backstory: These brothers have wowed fans with their skill and great teamwork over the years in SWF, but tonight to say they have a tall order would be an understatement. They have held the SWF Tag Team Championships before, but they have never faced a giant.

Khoklov’s Backstory: This giant Russian has been running over people since joining the ranks of the SWF roster. He has made it clear he came to America to try to get his hands on the biggest prize in the business, the World Heavyweight Championship, but tonight he has to go through this good tag team, at once.

Finish: The Bumfholes tried to rush the giant Russian after he had swatted them around all match, but that was an epic failure as they were met with Russian Lariats, one from each arm of Khoklov, and he pinned them both at once to get the easy victory.

Result: Marat Khoklov d. The Amazing Bumfholes @ 3:46 via Pinfall

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/grade_cplus.jpg

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the match instead of the music of the victor playing, a voice shot through the silence of the arena. It was that of former World Heavyweight Champion, Christian Faith. The crowd shot straight to their feet as they heard his voice.

Christian Faith

Hey! Comrade! Big dummy! That’s right, you heard me you big oaf! People have been talking about how no body can beat you. Well I beg to differ. I say you meet me in two weeks at When Hell Freezes Over, then I’m going to show you and everybody that I’ve still got some left in my tank, and I’m going to topple the giant! If you aren’t scared of me, you will meet me there and I’ll show you what the SWF is all about!

Jungle Lord vs. Vengeance

Jungle Lord’s Backstory: Jungle Lord appeared in SWF last summer, and he has been electrifying crowds around the world ever since. He has a very exciting style that people can get behind, and he’s trying to work his way into the main event scene, a victory over a former World Champion could prove huge in his young SWF career.

Vengeance’s Backstory: Vengeance has been on a roll like he hasn’t been on since he held the World Heavyweight Championship earlier in the year. He is using his brutal style and his lack of a conscious to completely run over everybody who gets in front of him, and has his deadly gaze fixed on the World Title.

Finish: Jungle Lord tried a chop off the top rope, but Vengeance caught him around the neck, and before he choked the life out of him he picked him up and hit his inverted piledriver, the Skull Krusher to get the victory.

Result: Vengeance d. Jungle Lord @ 7:54 via Pinfall

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/grade_cplus.jpg

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the match Jungle Lord started to stir as Vengeance stalked him like he has done to so many other victims. As he forced Jungle Lord to his feet he grasped him around the throat again, and was about to do something to cause serious injury to him. Quickly though Steve Frehley sprinted down the ring with a steel chair and ran Vengeance out of the ring. He calmly rolled down and out of the ring, then gave Frehley a cold and deadly stare as to say that his time would come.

North American Championship Match

Brandon James © vs. Lobster Warrior

James’ Backstory: Brandon James has been nothing but dominant since his debut in SWF not too long ago. Alongside his agent, Emma Chase, he has been running over competition and even recently won the North American Championship. In two weeks he faces Joe Sexy, but he can’t overlook Lobster Warrior or he will lose that title as quick as he won it.

Lobster’s Backstory: Lobster Warrior was a big part of the Underwater Union for several years, but since the breakup of the group he has been causing commotion in the ocean. He’s showed he is much more than just someone to be taken lightly, he’s a capable wrestler who can go with the best of them. He is looking to take a huge leap and add singles gold around his waist.

Finish: Lobster Warrior caught James off guard and wrestled a great match against him, but James leveled Lobby with a clothesline, then lifted him up in vertical suplex position, and all of a sudden dropped him back down forward, swinging him into an Urnage Slam as he fell, his move he calls the Big Money Move. This gave him his first defense of his championship.

Result: Brandon James d. Lobster Warrior @ 9:33 via Pinfall to retain

First Round of the Television Championship Tournament

Robbie Retro vs. Enforcer Roberts

Retro’s Backstory: Robbie Retro is one mean dancing machine. He has danced his way into the Television Championship tournament, and tonight he looks dance around the squared circle and boogey his way into a victory over Enforcer Roberts.

Roberts’ Backstory: Enforcer Roberts has been the silent arm for Richard Eisen for many years, and tonight he has got his way into the Television Championship tournament. He’s no stranger to championship gold, and he wants to wear it once again.

Finish: Robbie Retro hit a big slam on Roberts, but instead of pinning him he showed off his cool dance moves. Quickly Roberts crawled over to him and rolled him up for the victory.

Result: Enforcer Roberts d. Robbie Retro @ 6:56 via Pinfall

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/grade_c.jpg

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The camera goes backstage, where Angry Gilmore is standing by, and he looks, well…angry.

Angry Gilmore

I’ve been sitting by watching tonight’s event. It makes me sick that I don’t have a match tonight, while fools like Lobster Warrior and Robbie Retro are getting chances at championship gold. This is crap. I’m the most talented wrestler in SWF, but I haven’t been getting the chances. I took this to the top, and I’ve been granted a match at When Hell Freezes Over against Lobster Warrior. I’m sick and tired of circus freaks like him getting all the chances around here. I’m going to start making my own chances, and I’m going to start by tearing that stupid lobster's limbs right off his body!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A video plays showing the actions of the last month between Jack Bruce, Rich Money and Eric Eisen. It shows the action between Money and Bruce, and then the shocking return of Eric Eisen, who then quickly claimed the World Heavyweight Championship of his own. It then shows Jack Bruce tearing apart Rich Money, then Eisen taking out Bruce and standing supreme over his competitors.

Winner Gets a World Title Match at When Hell Freezes Over

Jack Bruce vs. Rich Money

Special Referee: Eric Eisen

Bruce’s Backstory: Jack Bruce was the last man to hold the World Title before Eric Eisen’s return, and he feels the title was stolen from him. Tonight he must not only get over the fact that Eisen will be in the ring with him, he must face Rich Money to even get a chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship back from Eisen and the pay-per-view.

Money’s Backstory: Rich Money had a very good chance at winning the championship from Jack Bruce last month, but Eric Eisen returned, and he was taken out of the picture by Bruce. Money is very angry at both Bruce and Eisen, and he has vowed revenge on both, but tonight he must defeat Bruce to get a shot at Eisen at the pay-per-view.

Finish: Rich Money was setting up Jack Bruce for a big move, but out of nowhere Eric Eisen unloaded on Money with a pair of brass knuckles. Bruce had no clue this happened and pinned Money to get the victory and the title shot at the pay-per-view.

Result: Jack Bruce d. Rich Money @ 15:51 via Pinfall

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/shaynes23/SWF/grade_b.jpg

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the match Jack Bruce looked very confused as to what happened, and he backed up the ramp staring at Eric Eisen, wondering why it is that Eisen made sure that he was the winner. Supreme TV went off the air with Jack Bruce looking very puzzled, Rich Money out cold in the center of the ring, and Eric Eisen holding his championship belt with an evil grin on his face.

TCW Presents Total Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, January 2010

Live from Wisconsin Gardens (Great Lakes)

Attendance: 10,000 (SELL OUT!)

________________________________

The show starts Freddy Huggins and his sister, Laura, in the middle of the ring. Everyone knows that these siblings like to run their mouth so they are met with a wave of boos.

Laura Huggins

Why don't you Wisconsin hicks shut your mouths?! You are about to witness what a real idol looks like, what a real idol wrestles like. Then you pathetic pieces of trailer trash will know who to model your life after. My baby brother has something to say and it would be for the best if you listened to what the "Teen Idol" has to tell you.

Freddy Huggins

Ow ow ow! Sissy, slow the role. Those boos aren't for me. They must be for the Wisconsin Flash. Everybody knows the kids love the "Teen Idol" Freddy Huggins. There's particularly one group of people who love me...the ladies. Huggins makes the ladies hit the high-notes and walk the high-wire, but lets get down to grown-man business. Time for the "Teen Idol" to start off 2010 in TCW, the right way!

"Hawaiian Thunder" Clark Alexander's music hits and Freddy Huggins stands in the ring ready for their match.

Freddy Huggins vs. Clark Alexander

  • Huggins dominated much of the match, but slipped up when he got too arrogant. Alexander took advantage of Huggins not taking advantage.
  • The end of the match came when Laura Huggins distracted the ref as Freddy low-blowed Alexander then hit the Huggins Kiss.

Freddy Huggins def. Clark Alexander via Pinfall at 6:13: C-

The New Wave vs. The Tag Team Specialists

  • A pretty good match between two experienced teams. The Tag Team Specialists having a little more, but this wasn't very evident.
  • The New Wave showed exactly why they are the TCW World Tag Team Champions. Guide and Scout showed off their connection well.
  • The only thing that really set The New Wave apart from The Tag Team Specialists is their acknowledgement for the crowd.
  • The New Wave was able to isolate Joel Bryant and hit the Wave of Mutilation, spelling the end of the match.

The New Wave def. The Tag Team Specialists via Pinfall at 11:39: C

We are met backstage by The Syndicate, Tommy Cornell and Wolf Hawkins. Dressed in suits, these two mean business as usual and most likely that business has to do with the Freedom Fighters.

Tommy Cornell

Frustration...frustration! Why don't you just go away?! I'm talking to you, Ricky Dale Johnson and Joey Minnesota. You guys call yourselves the Freedom Fighters. What do you think you are freeing people from? Freeing them from what is right in this company. Wolf Hawkins and I are the ones that make this company. Without us, what would this place be? What would you be? The only reason you are anything is because you are yanking on our coattails. If you weren't "battling" us, you'd be on the streets selling "Rough Justice" DVDs.

Wolf Hawkins

That's right, Tommy...what would you be without us? What would anyone be without The Syndicate? Who do you think you guys are? You think you can stop a force that has dominated this company for years? You're wrong...dead wrong. I'm going to show you tonight why you can't stop us. I'm going to show Bryan Vessey what happens when you step in the ring with me. If I could suggest, I'd say you might want to watch what you are going up against. The Syndicate doesn't lie down for anyone...anyone!

Troy Tornado vs. Benny Benson

  • This was a good rematch with a lot of well-paced action. The match had some good flow.
  • You could tell Tornado had some built-up frustration he was looking to take out on Benny Benson.
  • Tornado may have let his aggression get the best of him on more than one occasion as he tried to go to the well one too many times.
  • Benny Benson was able to pull another upset, again out of nowhere. Benson rolled up Tornado for a School-Boy when Tornado was arguing with the ref.

Benny Benson def. Troy Tornado via Pinfall at 10:21: C+

Freedom Fighters vs. The Machines

  • There was animosity between these two teams because The Machines used to be part of The Syndicate. Both teams seemed eager to get some shots in.
  • The match came to an end when Dale Johnson was battling with Brent Hill on the outside and Minnesota had Anderson alone. Minnesota hit the Empire Spiral for the win.

Freedom Fighters def. The Machines via Pinfall at 9:19: B-

Genghis Rahn vs. Joshua Taylor

  • This match was sloppy, but what else would anyone expect with Rahn.
  • Taylor showed off the abilities that made him TCW International Champion.
  • Rahn started to go berzerk on Taylor. Taylor didn't know what to do at this point.
  • Taylor was pretty much out after a barbaric beating by Rahn. Rahn hit Rahn For The Hills and got the win.

Genghis Rahn def. Joshua Taylor via Pinfall at 11:06: C-

________________________________

After the match, Genghis Rahn just started wailing on the TCW International Champion. In most cases, this would be seen as insult to injury, but that isn't Rahn. He is an unstable madman and that is exactly what happened. Rahn didn't stop until some backstage security came out to pull him off.

Danny Fonzarelli vs. Tommy Cornell

  • Fonzarelli got the cheers, Cornell got the boos. Cornell taunted the crowd and Fonzarelli played his "Dr. Love" character well.
  • Tommy Cornell was able to finish this match off rather quickly when he locked in the Guilt Trip.

Tommy Cornell def. Danny Fonzarelli via Submission at 7:46: B-

Sam Keith's music hits and he comes down to the ring. Then Rick Law's music goes over the loudspeakers and he comes out. These men are met by a loud group of boos. Seems like these two have planned to go to the ring together beforehand. Both of the men grab a microphone...

Sam Keith

We are both out here because there are a couple of men, or people that think they are men, who we want in the ring. Rick Law and I decided the best way we can both get our hands on these duds is if we call them out for a tag match. I'm sure they want a piece of us, too. Rocky Golden, I want something of yours. We've been going at it for some time now and I don't think I'm going to stop until I die or that belt is around my waist. I will not stop until I, Sam Keith, am TCW World Heavyweight Champion!

Rick Law

Koshiro Ino, you think you can go above the law? I dumped you months ago and it was the best decision of my career. You were dead-weight, nothing but someone who was holding me back! You took it personal and here we are. You think you can take me out of this business? I'm not sure if you even speak English, but if you can, Ino, then read my lips. You fight the law and Rick Law will win! Now you two come out here and face what you have comin'.

Rocky Golden and Koshiro Ino come out and rush the ring without a proper entrance. Keith and Law get ready and the match gets underway.

Rocky Golden & Koshiro Ino vs. Sam Keith & Rick Law

  • Both of these teams played to the crowd very well during the match.
  • Both of these rivalries got a lot of time to play out as Keith and Golden battled and Ino and Law battled.
  • The heels of the match, Keith and Law, used cheating tactics to get an advantage.
  • Keith and Law's cheating paid off in the end. Keith distracted the referee, Law then took out Ino and hit The Long Arm of the Law on Golden and got the win.

Bryan Vessey vs. Wolf Hawkins

  • This match had very good pace. Lots of breaks and lots of action.
  • Both being talented workers, there was some unique spots and it was a pretty clean match.
  • Wolf Hawkins played a very good heel with the help of Tommy Cornell on the outside.
  • You could tell Vessey was worrying that Eddie Peak would make himself known in Vessey's matches like he has recently.
  • Tommy Cornell did a good amount of arguing with the referee. Cornell was almost thrown-out of ringside at one point.
  • Vessey's paranoia was for a reason as Peak came out of nowhere while Cornell held the ref. Peak distracted Vessey and Hawkins hit the Full Moon Rising and got the win.

Wolf Hawkins def. Bryan Vessey via Pinfall at 19:52: B

Eddie Peak and The Syndicate started to lay the boots to Bryan Vessey after the match. The Syndicate set Vessey up for Eddie Peak to take out but then the Freedom Fighters ran down to the ring and made the save. The Syndicate taunted the Freedom Fighters as the show went off the air.

SWF vs. TCW Television Ratings

The ratings are in from Tuesday night's latest battle between SWF Supreme TV and TCW Presents Total Wrestling. Supreme TV was highlighted by a main event that saw Jack Bruce beat Rich Money with the help of referee Eric Eisen, while Total Wrestling saw Syndicate member Wolf Hawkins defeat Bryan Vessey with a little help as well. Here are the results:

SWF Supreme TV on C.A.N.N.: 5.69 (-)

TCW Presents Total Wrestling on GNN Total Sports: 5.00 (-)

Supreme Wrestling Federation Power Ten

1. Eric Eisen (-) The current SWF Champion tops our first rankings as he manipulated the main event to his liking, making sure he faces Jack Bruce for the title at the pay-per-view. His motivation is not yet known.

2. Jack Bruce (-) Jack Bruce cashed in his ticket for the main event of this month's pay-per-view by beating Rich Money in the main event of Supreme TV this week. He will face Eric Eisen for the title in a little over a week.

3. Vengeance (-) Vengeance has been running over anybody that has gotten in his way like usual. On Supreme TV this week he defeated Jungle Lord, but was confronted by Steve Frehley.

4. Brandon James (-) "Big Money" defended his North American Championship on television this week against Lobster Warrior, and going into the pay-per-view he must defend it against Joe Sexy.

5. Marat Khoklov (-) The giant Russian defeated the former World Tag Champions The Amazing Bumfholes in a handicap match before being challenged to a match at the pay-per-view by Christian Faith.

6. Rich Money (-) Rich Money is looking for revenge after being taken out by a combination of Eric Eisen and Jack Bruce, and he took a step back after being taken out by Eisen again this week and defeated by Jack Bruce in the main event.

7. Christian Faith (-) Christian Faith wasn't in a match this week, but he made his presence known by challenging Marat Khoklov to a match. Will he be able to survive a showdown with the giant?

8. Steve Frehley (-) After being given a night off from in-ring action, Frehley made his way to the ring anyways to save Jungle Jack from Vengeance. A showdown between these two powerhouses seems eminent.

9. Remo (-) Remo has been on fire lately, but the fire was cooled this week when he was no where to be found. Word is he was at home and has something big on his mind for Supreme TV this week.

10. Joe Sexy (-) Joe Sexy has a huge match coming up at the pay-per-view. He stays on the list this week even though he didn't actively participate he is gearing up for a North American title match in over a week.

Wow a failry close race for the first show. I was a bit surprised to see TCW get a C+, I'm hoping that improves for you. Although I have to admit I'm partial to SWF and hope they rule the world ;)

Yeah, I just needed to get my feel down for the promotion and the roster of TCW. I should be able to pump out better shows for now on. SWF is going down...so you might wanna jump ship.

SWF has Robbie Retro how could they lose?

Exactly. Even though he lost this week he was ready to put the Enforcer away, but like any good disco star he knew that his fans wanted to see him get his groove on. And SWF fans should jump ship? That would be like jumping from a luxury cruise line to JimmyBob's crawfish boat. You know, the one held together with rust and bird droppings.

The L.A. Connection vs. Charlie Thatcher & Sammy Bach

  • Back-and-forth match the whole way. The L.A. Connection got a good amount of help from the crowd. Sammy Bach and his manager, Karen Killer, generated a lot of heat.
  • The bad guys were able to pull out a victory with nasty tactics. Bach and Killer distracted the referee and took out Fortune. Thatcher then blindsided Andrews and Bach covered him.

Awesome! I always liked the idea of having Dark matches as webcasts. As a big fan of Heat, I'm on-board with Cyberslam.

Loving the look of this war, so far. I don't think I've ever seen Haynes do anything with the Cornellverse. Should be interesting. Oh, and nimo is coolbeans, too.

Yeah, with CyberSlam I just wanted to add something extra in there. Also, it showcases some people who may not be on Total Wrestling every week. I plan on expanding on it a little, but I thought this one was a good way to start it.

Last week's SWF Supreme TV ended with quite a bit of confusion. Jack Bruce and Rich Money were locking in a great matchup to determine the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, while the champion Eric Eisen presided over the match as referee. Eisen was calling it right down the middle until he leaned back and knocked out Rich Money out of nowhere, allowing Jack Bruce to get the victory and face him at the pay-per-view. Bruce took the title match, but is still very confused as to why Eisen handed him the match.

Tonight these two men will be in the ring together, it will be a tag team main event that you will not want to miss. Gold will be shimmering in this match as World Heavyweight Champion Eric Eisen will be teaming with North American Champion Brandon James. Emma Chase will lead this team of champions into battle against the number one contenders to each title, Jack Bruce and Joe Sexy. This tag team match will provide a great preview into the two big title matches at this weekend's pay-per-view, When Hell Freezes Over.

In other action, Christian Faith claims he will take down Marat Khoklov at the pay-per-view, and he is planning on showing the world size is just an object as he takes on Everest to try to get a feel for a truly huge competitor. The Television Championship tournament also continues this week, and there is a huge match planned between two stars looking to gain some footing and momentum, Rich Money and Remo. Do not miss all these great matches, and so much more supreme action.

The Cyber Slam segment was actually a really cool Idea. I vote that SHaynes keeps with true SWF fashion...and steals it! ;)

Hahaha, not a bad idea. Sorry it's been slow this week. Nick hasn't been able to do his preview yet, and I'm doing student teaching this week so I've been swamped, should be better this weekend and next week.
