<blockquote>'MOSC were created back in 1980 at a time when the UK wrestling scene was virtually dead, and for over twenty years were the number one promotion in the country. This was because they had a sensible business plan, running low cost "blood, beer and brawling" shows for Northern crowds, and so were never in financial danger.

 

They suffered a huge blow in 2006 when 21CW, who had previously been no threat whatsoever, were taken over by Jeff Nova and started revolutionising the UK wrestling industry. Left looking distinctly third-rate in comparison to their glitzy new rival, MOSC haven't been able to compete at all, and now face a tough battle for survival.'

 

Like he had done with Exodus 2010, Kurt had kept a watchful eye on Men Of Steel Combat as well as smaller promotions all over the world. He looked at talent to bring to Cedar Rapids and how they handled their business.

 

The UK had long been in an economic downturn, and while attendance figures were steady at 300, the income they recieved from merchandising and sponsorship had decreased to the point where they could barely cover their costs.

 

To make matters worse, every homegrown star usually wound up being poached by 21CW leading to lower show ratings and even less money coming in.

 

MoSC were however determined to carry on limping through the end of 2010 with rather lackluster events, but was soon advised by its backers that they were pulling out and that they would have to close their doors.

 

Highland Warrior decided to pull out all the stops for the final show and MoSC: Invincible was put together. The final card was:

 

Danny Patteson defeated Jeremy Allen to retain the MoSC Blood & Beer Championship.

Psycho defeated Axl Grease

Harley Neill, Bruiser and McPeterson defeated Geordie Jimmy, Francis and Edwards.

Edward Cornell defeated Buff Martinez to retain the MoSC UK Championship

 

It was their best show ever, and the crowd was on their feet applauding the entire locker room.

 

The day after the show, MoSC filed for bankruptcy and the beer swilling promotion was done.

Just so you guys know. The updates will slow down from 1st-6th May anyway as im moving house but i should be able to get another 2 shows posted before then
