Its awhole new game.

The story begins now.

Yes I am one of those who has started a many a diary. But ends it for one reason or another. But yet here I am again. After reviewing all that I have done I looked into the reason or reasons why I would start one to begin with. I had fun on most. Some were just to waste time I admit. Where did I have the most fun at? My old 75 SWF diary. But my second one I enjoyed on a personal nature was the HGC diary.

Now I know the newer 75 game is coming right around the corner. But I want to save that one for a personal game which will never become a diary. So that leaves the 97 mod that Derick-B and his team put together. And it is a very good mod to do what I want to accomplish.

So why am I doing this. For one reason only. It helps me immerse myself into my game. And it keeps me focused on it. Now if you looking for fancy graphics, and great music, your gonna be disappointed because that isn't my strength. What I do offer, or at least I think I do a fairly decent job at is providing a chance to picture what is going on in your own mind. I want it to feel like your ar there, or watching what is going on like you would on TV.

I will not be posting grades for that reason. You don't see grade when your watching TV. It will be my job to convey to you if it was a great promo, match, argument, etc. In other other words it will be like the match posting of my 75 diary. Also I will not be doing the usual back story office segments I have done in the past. But I will have something else in store.

I have changed a few items for Hollyweird Grappling Company. First all of the multi network signing for their TV show, gone. It is one contract and HGC is now shown live on NCTV. The next changes involved product. I lowered Cult and Risqué. Other than that, no other changes have been made.

So sit back, grab a drink of your choice and enjoy if you will. As always I will always appreciate feedback.

Sam Strong

The legendary Sam Strong is without a doubt the most iconic and successful wrestler of his generation, and is known throughout the wrestling world. His actual wrestling skills have never been the stuff of legend, but his fantastic charisma and imposing presence made him a hero to millions in the 80s with the SWF, where he feuded with most of the biggest stars of the last 20 years.

Entering into the twilight of his career and revitalised by some excellent matches in Japan with Hooded Kudo and the emerging star Tadiyuki Kikkawa, Strong was tempted back to the US by the sheer power of JK Stallings' chequebook, signing a hugely lucrative contract, bringing in some of his friends and political allies and getting himself the majority of the booking power too. Questions have been asked Strong's ability to translate his personal success into glory for the HGC promotion, and those will no doubt be answered over the coming months and years as HGC gets a foothold in the industry.

<a href="http://s578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/?action=view&current=RipChord.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/RipChord.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Rip Chord

Rip Chord has been a legend in the business since the 1970s, delivering incredible matches every night and winning a multitude of titles around North America and most recently in Japan. His SWF run ended in a brutal squash, voluntarily losing the SWF title to Bruce the Giant and helping to pass the torch on to a new generation of stars. Two year in rehab have seen him finally kick his long term troubles with drugs and alcohol to the kerb, and a year wrestling wtih GCG saw him prove to himself and his doubters that he is still a top tier talent. When JK Stallings' chequebook came knocking, Rip secured himself a lucrative contract and a top spot in the promotion, hoping to help build the company into a viable threat to the SWF and help re-invent the image of modern wrestling.

<a href="http://s578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/?action=view&current=Liberty.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/Liberty.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Liberty

Liberty originally broke into the sport in Texas, where he played a generic masked heel ("The Outlaw II"), but it was when he joined HGC that his career took off. Repackaged as a colourful fan favourite, and with massive help from a shock victory over Rip Chord just before Christmas he became one of the most popular men on the roster. He is clearly HGC's first attempt at creating it's own star and its not hard to see why as he has a lot of the qualities that many saw in a young Sam Strong; work ethic, charisma and a good look.

<a href="http://s578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/?action=view&current=Dread_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/Dread_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Dread

The massive bruiser called Dread is known worldwide as one of the best big man workers of all time, having spent over a decade churning out great matches and killing the notion that men over 350lbs can't also be skillful wrestlers. He has won titles all around the globe, but is known to particularly enjoy the very physical style employed by the Japanese. The lure of big money lured him to HGC despite being positioned as one of the main figureheads of GCG, and he seems set to carry on his legacy by adding yet more world titles to his already impressive list of accomplishments.

<a href="http://s578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/?action=view&current=BLZBubb.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/ss229/cmdrsam_2009/BLZBubb.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

BLZ Bubb

BLZ Bubb is a big menacing powerhouse from Canada, who is known for his intimidating, somewhat demonic look. After struggling on the independent scene for years, he got his big break when HGC signed him to their debut roster and repackaged as an almost unstoppable monster heel with Karen Killer by his side. A string of dominating performances for HGC in their debut month helped get BLZ over quickly and he has clearly been positioned as a big threat in the upper card.

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Vesseys are the best tag team on the roster and Savage Fury suck.

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

Dusty has a big upside while Redwood is unbelieveably bad.

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

While the Flames are better workers, the Demons are the better fit to take on the Vesseys for the eventual crowning of your tag champions.

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

It's Liberty and it's Peter f'n Valentine.

Dread VS Sam Strong

While Dread is a legit legend, Sam is one of the pillars on which the whole company rests.

Breaking news today has revealed the latest twist in the bitter East Coast Wars, as indy manager Phil Vibert (also known as Harry Flash) has completed the takeover of the DAVE promotion. In a press release issued today Vibert has promised to "shake things up" and "make a real impact on professional wrestling" by bringing an end to the East Coast Wars once and for all. He went on to say that DAVE has the best locker-room of all the east coast promotions and that through their hard work, DAVE will prove that they are a viable alternative to the more mainstream SWF and the recently debuted HGC promotions.

Preston Holt was contacted and was quoted as to saying. "It does not matter who is in charge of D.A.V.E. It was his responsibility to ensure that Rapid Pro Wrestling emerge out of the East Coast and become a major player in US wrestling scene."

It is in this reporters eyes that Phil Vibert has an incredible mind for the business but faces a tremendous uphill battle.

PWHits got a first look today at the finances of the AMW promotion through some leaked documents and things in the ambitious Texas based company don't look good. With attendances dropping off following some ludicrously booked bad storylines in the last 6 months, AMW looks to have been bleeding money faster than a Big Smack Scott victim in a hardcore match.

With many of the investors in the company actively and openly stating that Trenton Evenrud's mismanagement of the company is to blame, it seems like only a matter of time before the troubled company is forced to close unless something major happens to save them. In this reporter's opinion, that is pretty dang unlikely.

But with that being said that hasn't stopped Trenton Evenrud from talking more wrestlers to fork over money to him hand over fist. The latest wrestler to join is non other that Jack Bruce.

New England Wrestling have been on a signing spree as of late. Kurt Laramee, I' Butcher, Jesse Christian, and Troy Tornado have been signed to contracts this week.

New England Wrestling is a breeding ground for Supreme Wrestling. It is unclear if these signings are development contracts or are New England attempt to bolster their own promotion.

Supreme Wrestling on Tuesday promises to be a push back at Hollyweird Grappling Company. They are promoting that Bruce the Giant, Tommy Cornell, Christian Faith, and Sam Kieth will be on the show in some compacity.

I don't see how what Hollyeird has been promoting as their lineup on Tuesday is going to compete. Think I will be watching Supreme and tape HGC's show instead.

And thats it for this weeks wrap up. We will see you next week.

The show opens to the usual pyro and the stock footage of HGC's wrestlers in action. We come out of video to pan the audience. Jason Azaria and Kyle Rhodes welcome us to the show.

Jason Azaria: Welcome to another edition of HGC's Tuesday night wrestling. I am Jason Azaria and joined with me as my broadcast partner Kyle Rhodes.

Kyle Rhodes: Thanks Jason. We have a great night of wrestling for you folks tonight. We will see Liberty in action. Also slated for the main event we will see Dread as he takes on the immortal Sam Strong.

Jason Azaria: But first folks we have just received word that the owner and founder of Hollyweird Grappling Company has asked for a moment of our time. We take you backstage now.

The scene cuts to backstage where we see J.K. Stallings Jr. behind a desk.

J.K. Stallings: Hello HGC fans. I have asked for this time to lay out the plans I have for this month. First off I am pleased to announce that we have signed on to a major PPV provider. USA Free Choice have agreed to show our Pay Per Views. Our very first PPV will be, Malice in Wonderland. With this being said we will crown our very first HGC World Heavyweight champion. It's been a few months now with out a champion. And I have feed data into the computer and have determined that Sam Strong and Rip Chord have been the faces of this company and have electrified you the fans. Those two will face each other in a legendary encounter for the world championship. But thats not all. We will be holding a 10 man battle royal to determine a #1 contender. The winner will receive a shot at the world title in March. Why March? Because I have other plans which I will announce later. Thank you, and lets get back to some great HGC wrestling.

Jason Azaria: Wow what a bombshell. And our first PPV already promises to be a great night.

I am a real American is played and the crowd pops. Out comes Sam Strong.

Kyle Rhodes: Ladies and Gentlemen, The Immortal, Sam Strong!

Sam Strong: Well well well. Another battle between Rip Chord and myself for a worlds championship. We have a lot of history between us two. Some not so great for yours truly. But I am grateful for the shot. And Rip, Brutha!, What are you gonna do when....

?: Hold on you idiot stop right there.

Rip Chord comes from out back to a chorus of boos.

Rip Chord: Your just as bad as these simpletons sitting out in the crowd. You know the last couple of times Mr. Strong we faced each other I took the title away from you. And you're older now. And Myself have gotten better just like a fine whine.

Fans chant wino

Rip Chord: Shut up, you all are a bunch of mindless amoebas. Sam, you might want to find a way out of this. Because I will not be responsible for hurting you. Because I am coming into the match with a mind set of not only being the first HGC world champ. But to end you career as well.

Sam Strong: Now look here Chord. I have had about enough of you flapping your gums. Yes you have beaten me, and yes you may have taken past championships from me in the past. But I have destiny on my side. You see I have the millions of the Strongamaniacs 1000 percent behind me. You think you are going to win. I say your punch drunk.

Rip Chord: I outta....

Sam Strong: Whatcha gonna do Rip? Whatcha gonna do when Strongamania runs all over YOU!

*** Commercial***

Jason Azaria: What a start to tonights action.

Kyle Rhodes: And we haven't even had our first match yet and I'm sweating. So lets get to our first match Jason take it away.

Jason Azaria: Thank you Kyle. This match is a Standard Match. On his way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 212 pounds, from From the USA, Liberty!!!

Liberty comes to the ring as the fans cheer him. He gives a few of the kids a peace symbol as he makes his way down.

Jason Azaria: And his opponent, weighing in at 240 pounds, from New York City, NY, Peter Valentine!!!

Peter Valentine walks to the ring. And the fans begin to heckle him. He acts like he is gonna backhand a kid who gives him a peace symbol.

The two tie up and it's Peter Valentine who gets taken down with a armdrag. Peter Valentine climbs to his feet. Liberty is looking on to the fans as he flashes his peace sign. Peter Valentine comes from behind and bulldogs Liberty. Peter Valentine stands up. Liberty gets up slowly. Liberty charges and hits a short lariat on Peter Valentine. Peter Valentine climbs to his feet. Liberty goes to punch Peter who blocks it, then lands a kick to the stomach of Liberty. Peter Valentine nails Liberty with a double under hook suplex.

Jason Azaria: Like him or not that was a nice double undertook suplex by Peter Valentine.

Peter Valentine sends Liberty to ringside. Sam Sparrow starts the count (.1) (..2) Peter Valentine executes a corkscrew legdrop on Liberty. Peter Valentine moves back to his feet. (...3) Peter Valentine rolls onto Liberty connecting with a knee. (....4) The two fight into the aisle for a bit. Peter Valentine and Liberty move back to ringside. Peter Valentine applies an arm wrench to Liberty.

Kyle Rhodes: Heres a fun fact for you, we are actually seeing Valentine wrestle as he just applied a arm wrench.

Peter Valentine goes for a pin. Sam Sparrow counts. ...1 ...2 Liberty kicks out.

Jason Azaria: Not even close!

Liberty is back on his feet. Peter Valentine puts Liberty in the double undertook position and gives him a double under hook back breaker. Peter Valentine whips the sweat off of his brow and flicks it at Liberty. Peter then starts to yell at some fans in the audience allowing Liberty to get to his feet. Liberty hip tosses Peter Valentine. Peter Valentine climbs to his feet. Liberty executes a swinging bulldog on Peter Valentine driving Peter Valentine's face into the mat.

Liberty uses a Liberation Slam to bring Peter Valentine down. Liberty covers Peter Valentine hooking the leg. The ref starts the count. ...1 ...2 ...3!

Jason Azaria: Liberty defeated Peter Valentine in 7:33 with his Liberation Slam!

Kyle Rhodes: A great win for Liberty tonight.

Liberty is the ring celebrating with his fans when the lights start to flicker.

Kyle Rhodes: Some one forget to pay the light bill?

The lights go out for a few seconds. Then come back on. We see Liberty looking around and BLZ Bubb behind him. Liberty turns around to be met with a big kick to his face. Bubb stalks his prey and lands a few more stiff kicks to Liberty's head. HGC officials run down but not before BLZ Bubb picks up Liberty and delivers a Hades Bomb on Liberty.

Jason Azaria: Come on get in there officials. This can not be allowed to continue any longer.

Kyle Rhodes: How much damage as been done.

As Jason and Kyle our putting over the damage done by BLZ Bubb on Liberty, HGC officials help carry Liberty to the back. The scene then shifts to the backstage where we see Romeo Heartthrob waiting with a microphone.

Romeo Heartthrob: Sweat hogs every where I go. And how in the heck do you have championship match with out me? Look just because you fat and lazy and your women talk about me and not you does not give you the right to not include me. Look at this body. How can you say this is not worthy of gold around my waist.

*** Commercial***

Jason Azaria: Welcome back folks. Kyle what do you think of BLZ Bubb's attack on Liberty earlier.

Kyle Rhodes: Well Jason, this don't make it right. Historically thats what Bubb does. He plays mind games with his opponents. One thing you can not deny is his results. You and me may not like his methods. But he has been a proven winner.

Jason Azaria: And now its time for our next match.

Savage Fury vs. The Vessey Brothers

Jason Azaria: This match is a Standard Match tag match. On their way to the ring at this time, Savage Fury!!!

Savage Fury come to the ring.

Jason Azaria: And their opponents, being led out by their manager Coach Dick Pangrazzio, the team of Larry Vessey and Bryan Vessey, The Vessey Brothers.

The Vessey Brothers walk to the ring to the delight of the crowd. Coach is barking instructions to his team as they enter the ring. Eugene Williams is the referee and he call for the bell. (the bell rings) Java and Bryan start out for their teams. They two are about to tie up when its Java who gets a eye rack on Bryan. Java then lands a clotheslines on Bryan Vessey. Java run against the ropes and lands with a high cross body on Bryan Vessey.

Kyle Rhodes: Good high cross body!

Java moves back to his feet. Bryan Vessey stands up. Bryan Vessey discus punches Java. Java climbs to his feet. Java is hit with a backward kick by Bryan Vessey. Java retreats and tags in Tribal Warrior. Tribal Warrior and Bryan Vessey start to trade punches. Bryan is floored with a right hook. Tribal Warrior goes to pick up Bryan but get rolled up in a small package for a one count. Bryan Vessey is back on his feet and kicks Tribal Warrior in the gut then knees him in the face. Bryan goes running up the turnbuckle and hits Tribal Warrior with the shooting star press. The ref starts the count. ...1 ...2! Tribal Warrior kicks out.

Jason Azaria: Bryan Vessey tried to end it with that shooting star press.

The shooting star press took a toll on both men as the stagger to their feet. They begin to trade punches. Tribal Warrior lands a boot to the gut of Bryan Vessey. Tribal Warrior staggers to his corner and tags in Java. Bryan tags in Larry Vessey. A whirl wind of punches by Larry Vessey staggers Java. Larry lands a short armed clothesline which buckles Java's knees. Sick Cycle!

Jason Azaria: Sick Cycle by Larry Vessey. This should do it.

Larry Vessey covers Java and hooks the leg. Sam Sparrow counts. ...1 ...2 ...3!

Jason Azaria: The winners of this match, at 6:02, The Vessey Brothers!!!

Kyle Rhodes: Savage Fury went right at The Vessey but just came up short.

Jason Azaria: They might still be a little raw but they will learn from this. Savage Fury are a young team with a lot of promise. We could hear more from them later.

The scene shifts to back as we see Dread pacing back and forth.

Dread: Washed up has beens. Thats what they decide to face each other for the world championship. Two washed up has beens. It is I who they dread to face. It is I who have been winning match after match. So I get one of those geriatrics tonight. Take notice HGC, You might not want to etch Sam's name on that template.

Rip Chord walks into the scene. Dread postures to fighting stance as Rip begins to talk.

Rip Chord: Hold up there big guy. I ain't here to start anything with you. But I am no wash up has been. I am a multi world champion. And I could not care less who wins between you and that muscle head Sam. But I will not listen to you call me a has been.

Dread: I could break you like a twig little man.

Rip Chord: That may be there. But only if I let you catch me. You see you are big, and bad, but you lack the IQ to be on my level. But we could argue potatoes, patatoes all night long. You just make sure you hurt Sam tonight. If you do, I'll but in a good word for you then maybe it will be you and me for the belt instead of simpleton Strong.

Rip walks out of the scene as Dread is left fuming.

Dread: I will break somebody tonight. Its my time, its Dread time.

*** Commercial ***

We come out of commercial to find Dusty Streets backstage getting ready for a match.

Dusty Street: I have been in this sport for a very long time. And I have to tell you folks out there something. Things are going to heat up with the title situation coming to a head. Sam you know I have a lot of respect for you. Us old war horse have stick together. But tonight I was handed a note from Mr. Stallings. We come out of the video and Sam Strong is preparing for his match with Dread later tonight.

Sam Strong: You know what brutha? I've seen a lot of big dudes in my life. But this Dread has got to be one of biggest ones I have ever faced. But he has this chip on his shoulder. And then wants to call me a washed up has been. Well Brutha, your gonna find out what Strongamania is all about. Tonight, all of the Strongamaniacs band together. Tonight your just another notch in Sam Strong's belt. Whatcha going to do Dread? When this old man run wild on you!

Jason Azaria: The Sam Strong and Dread match will be later tonight folks.

Kyle Rhodes: I want to thank the fans here at the Irving Hall for being gracious hosts. One thing has rang true as far as I am concerned. With the news of our first PPV later this month tensions are running high.

Jason Azaria: Seems like everyone is scrambling for spots at Malice in Wonderland later this month. As a matter a fact here is another match up which could have implications at the PPV.

Cowboy Ricky Dale in the midcard and Troy Tornado as an opener...should be interesting.

Here are my complete guesses:

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

Dread VS Sam Strong

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

Dread VS Sam Strong

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Screw the Savage Jobbers, I hate them!:D

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

Dread VS Sam Strong

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

Dread VS Sam Strong

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

Dread VS Sam Strong

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

Vesseys in their prime arent gonna lose

Dusty Streets Vs Giant Redwood

The Demons of Rage VS The Blazn' Flames

Liberty VS Peter Valentine

Dread VS Sam Strong

Savage Fury VS The Vessey Brothers

I want to thank each and everyone of you for participating. We have a three way tie Dragonmack, Truth, and Lexa 5-0 with thier picks. As a little prize I would like you three to pm. You can enter a sign slogan which will appear somewhere at Malice in Wonderland.

Good first show. Look forward to where you go from here.

Going to second this.

HGC is a story just waiting to be told, IMO. Sebsplex did a great start to it with his classic diary (way back in '08, I think?), but there's a lot of mileage here.

Well after watching both Supreme and Hollyweird last week, I must say that the SWF is still the crème of the crop. This so called war between the two federations is a war of words only. Supreme Wrestling Federation constantly puts on a better show. They draw more attention to themselves. And even though Hollyweird has an enormous bankroll, It is this reporters opinion that I don't see how Hollyweird will surpass Supreme anytime soon. With that being said HGC did have some bright spots.

I may bash the upstart HGC. But believe me when I say this. I really do want them to succeed. It is better for the business if there are choices. It provides wrestlers with skills to be able to showcase those skills to a nationwide audience. And it pushes both companies to compete for the fans attentions. Now lets take a look at last week shall we?

Kudos for HGC to securing a PPV deal. This alone should provide them with another tool to compete with the SWF. The Liberty and Peter Valentine match was better than anticipated. As was The Vessey brothers against Savage Fury. Downside, Sam Strong and Rip Chord? Come one, how many times have we seen this. And lets face it, both are well past their prime. Yes they still hold the fans attention. And yes both still attract fans in droves. But for the best title in your company to fall into one of their hands symbolizing that they are the best your company has? I question the move myself. Why not Dread? Or BLZ Bubb, or for that matter the hottest rising star you have right now which is Liberty?

Supreme Wrestling countered the show very well. Sam Kieth and Christian Faith was by far the best match of the night. Unsure why they had Bruce the Giant and Sean McFly on last but it was a decent match as well. There are rumors flying around that Nemesis is being groomed for a main event push soon. There are even talks right now of possibly putting him into a story with Sam Kieth as well. That would be interesting if the rumors are true.

Rapid Pro and Dave have already put on their monthly shows. Rapid Pro was a good for their standards but the show from DAVE was a better polished product. Dave's final match saw Johnny Martin defeat Eric Tyler to retain Dave Extreme title.

Well this concludes this weeks posts. Don't forget we will be reporting again next week. Until then, keep your shoulders off of the mat.

I was going to post the show on Tuesday. But then I realized I would be a bad bad boyfriend. I have a anniversary Tuesday. And as much as I like it here, my life would be a disaster if I don't keep her happy. Will be posting the show instead on Wednesday night.
