wrestlingfan1 Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 This isn't a trivia category like the wrestling one I started some month back, but more so a its on the tip of my tongue kind of thing. I'm sure we've all had those moments where we've seen a movie and while talking about it to someone else can't remember the title. So i figure with all the people here we might be able to fill in those gaps. Of course i have two I've tried Google and can't find them anywhere. IMDB's search by plot key words yielded nothing as well... First one: Some of us may remember the childrens song about the one eyed one horned flying purple people eater. Well there was a movie where a giant purple one eyed one horned , alien/monster something came to earth. The adults were afraid of it but the kids would all sing the song one eyed, one horned purple people eater. There was something else that came and was going to take the kids and the OEOHPPE grew little wings and flew to the rescue then the kids all sang he's the one eyed, one horned... FLYING... purple people eater. If anyone knows what i'm talking about or has better search luck than I apparently do please share. Second one: This one was years ago when i was a kid. Back in the good old days when Disney was still a pay channel (at least in the states) and it was a FAMILY channel and not just another Nickelodeon JR. There was a movie that I saw and remember vaguely. There was a guy he was either an inventor or a toy designer and he moves with his kid(s), maybe more than one but i definitely remember a daughter. The house they move to is haunted by " the boogie man " it was supposed to be scary but it was disney so I wouldn't go as far as calling it a horror movie. The part I remember clearly is at the end one of the guys inventions/toys was some kind of new vacuum cleaner thing and it sucks the boogie man into it. As he is being sucked in he just keeps saying over and over " Boogie boogie boogie " while flailing his hands trying to scare them still. I was talking to my girlfriend about these the other day when we were trying to think of some new movies to get for our son. Any help with these would be appreciated. Its made out like the guy is a vampire when in reality its the girls that are vampires.
