<p>done The Longest Journey, loved it had some mental puzzles, Syberia 1 and 2 are hands down one of my favorites, going to replay the Discworlds soon and heard there is a new Broken Sword out too</p><p> </p><p>

I need to get an office out of my house, i have played more games since working full time then when i did as a teenager</p><p> </p><p>

what was the second Longest Journey called i seem to remember it having weird combat bits</p><p> </p><p>

Its hard finding adventure point and click games that i haven't played, i am not into shooting, racing, sport or beat em ups, don't mind RPG'S but they usually lose the plot in the middle after a strong start such as Final Fantasy 8, tried to get into Legend of Dragoon, but after i found that each battle took ages to complete i soon gave up on it </p><p> </p><p>

my son likes Mario 3D or whatever its called and prefers me to play it while he watches, its a living hell for me but do it cause he loves watching it so much, if anyone has played it, there is some levels where a little purple/black evil Mario chases you, it scares the hell out of me</p>

As an aside, I still don't think Blade Runner has been beaten in terms of games based on movies (...based on books) that are actually good. And when you consider it came out in the same year as the original Gran Turismo, Carmageddon and FF7, it looks freakin' awesome graphically.

i love it, in terms of games based on films, Reservoir Dogs takes the biscuit, even though apart from Micheal Madsen nobody from the film had anything to do with it, the whole game just felt wrong except when lining people up and slow motion shooting them

but Blade Runner is fantastic, never liked the books as i got told Gaff pretty much is wasted in the first few pages, (i usually get someone to read a book for me, and give me the general story if i like the sound of it i start reading if not i just get the shortened version)

To be fair, I think Mass Effect and Dragon Age are (one of the only games) worth replaying with the additional DLC as added incentive. Hell, I just did. Played DA last month, though didn't finish it as I got sick of it all at the Landsmeet. Just finished ME 2 again yesterday and ME 1 some days before that. I had seen it all before, though I didn't remember all of it. ME 3 does have a bunch of new DLC content I haven't seen before, so excited to play that today. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I went back and re-bought Dragon Age on Steam, thinking maybe I just didn't enjoy it because I played it on the 360 4-5 years ago. Then I got to the fade and gave up. The whole game is just so grind-y to me, but the Fade in particular is just a mess.

There's a mod that allows you to skip the fade completely. The fade is probably the biggest reason why people don't replay the game as much. Once I passed the game for the first time I downloaded mods and used cheats just so I could enjoy the story and not focus on the gameplay as much. Same with The Witcher and DA2 as well as most RPG's or JRPG's. Skyrim is probably the only game where I don't normally cheat since the gameplay doesn't suck the fun out of the story as much since there's no need for major grinding.

Relogged later and started searching the houses around my spawn. Found an unopened tin of canned peaches, a beanie hat and a shovel. Lately I just care about the narrative in those games. I wanted to experience it again, and even on casual it's just too slow and I got bored. The Redesign mod is pretty awesome though. Colors the game up well. But the Fade sucks the energy all out of you. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> edit: lol, rickymex knows it too I see. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
