If you don't cooperate with Norma during the trade she will <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">shoot Oak in the stomach. He falls to the ground and kicks her in the leg, which buys Michonne and the others time to prepare.</span> Like I said I didn't think it was a bad game, the game itself was awesome, it just failed to hook me on the story. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>So despite me saying I was getting neither game... I bought PES17 on the Xbox One over Fifa17 this year. Played both demos (as recommended) and then borrowed PES from a friend. The on field gameplay for PES blows Fifa completely our of the water. EA are lazily sitting on their "licence" deals but that will only keep you on top with the casual gamers for so long before they realise PES is a completely superior game of football on the field (yeah the licences and fake teams can be an issue - especially with Microsoft being a-holes and not allowing the same freedom of editing PS4 and PC players get, but Master League is back so I'll be going with a fake team in a fake league any way). </p><p> </p><p>

Fifa for many years has felt like it doesn't matter if you play against Barcelona or Barnet, every opponent plays the same. Tactics mean nothing in Fifa. So far on PES, every match has felt like an individual game where I have had to change my tactics up to counter the opposition, and so far, no team I've played against have mimicked a team they shouldn't. Ie; lower teams don't pass the ball around like they are Real Madrid on steroids like on Fifa and I feel more in control of my own team. The awarding of free kicks has been greatly improved, although I have been booked for every free kick I've given away so they may need to patch in something that makes yellows a little more in line with the foul committed.</p><p> </p><p>

Fifa's demo? Same dull dire game as last year based on what I've played.</p>

Honestly I don't feel like spending a full month playing ML given the changes are not significant (or not visible to me, at least), so I'm going to wait a year as I'm fine with booting up last year's game when I feel like playing a soccer game. (edit) However, it seems PES is priced 23€ on release on kinguin as opposed to 40 for FIFA. For that price, I might as well get it now, even though I might only play it a couple of times if someone comes over. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> FIFA's demo does include a taste of the story mode, but it's exactly what I feared it would be: a scripted mess with some overdramatic cutscenes to cater to the mainstream footie fan. After I secured both assists of the game to allow the team to win 2-1 I got the "meh" treatment of "don't worry, you'll do better next time". Either the manager suffers from some form of mental retardation or the game just didn't pick up assists as a relevant parameter. You can play as a team though so I have to take back my statement that few people would care about the new mode. It's probably worth playing through as you can just play as the team and positively discriminate against your guy. Gameplay was quite underwhelming after having tasted PES ten minutes earlier though. The penalty animations were quite awkward too.</p><p> </p><p> Anyhow, another awesome Humble Bundle is online, including Punch Club, which is a boxing manager which should intrigue most people here. It supposedly includes a corny and nostalgic storyline. The bundle also has Rollercoaster Tycoon II for those that don't have it yet and a diverse indy selection of genres. Oh yeah... it also has Prison Architect, a game that is often discussed here. 5$ for all of this is a bargain (this is a fact, not an opinion <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />).</p><p> </p><p> DLC of Skylines is cheap at the Paradox store atm as well. I should get into that game again as I never really dedicated myself to an evening of playing.</p>

Just played Telltale Batman episode 2 and I am really loving it. As someone who's never been into superheroes or comics, I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. I bought the season pass 4 days ago after I watched TheRadBrad play the first one. Anything by Telltale I'm willing to give a chance because of how great of story tellers they are. And that's exactly what I love about this game. I'm stepping in the shoes of someone I know very little to nothing about and I'm going on an epic journey. They design it so fans of Batman and the comics can live the game first hand but they also make it playable to someone like myself who has never gotten into that sort of stuff. It's what made The Wolf Among Us so great for me. I like stepping into someone else's shoes and playing their story as opposed to being just some guy in an apocalypse. I liked the second episode much better than the first. I'm hoping by the end TT will give the player an option to choose between Vicki or Selina. If so I'm choosing Selina <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. But, yeah, if they keep doing what they're doing, Batman is well on it's way of passing MC Story Mode & Michonne on my list.

I had never even heard of Wolf Among Us (I am not a big comic books guy) prior to buying the game and I was skeptical over the whole premise of the game. But I ended up loving the game and I am glad I bought it. In fact I was thinking about playing it over again the other day.

My favorite Telltale game thus far has actually been their Borderlands game. I loved the story and the humor of the game. Once again I never played any of the other Borderlands games because I am not a fan of FPS. So I went into the game not knowing anything about the world.

I actually despised Wolf when I first watched it online because I hated the idea and didn't quite understand it was supposed to represent fables and stuff. I just thought there was a random talking pig and frog lol. I was an idiot and watched the whole game then decided to buy it and play it myself, then trade it in to buy something else. Haven't played it in nearly 2 years though, I may get it again someday.

Never tried Borderlands. Always assumed even the Telltale version was FPS. Huh, may have to check that out. My list of TTG that I've played are:

1: Walking Dead Season 1

2: Walking Dead Season 2

3: Wolf Among Us

4: TWD Michonne

5: MCSM

Like I said before Batman is probably on it's way of becoming #4, possibly even 3.

Wolf Among Us sort of gave me a Chinatown (the Jack Nicholson movie) vibe. I think that might have been what sold me on it in the first place.

Has anyone played the Back to the Future game they put out? The reviews said it was horrible so I never bothered with it. But I almost bought it when it was really cheap a few months ago.

The Monkey Island game they made before TWD was pretty good! Never played Back to the Future.

Also, in regards to Borderlands, I'd say it's definitely one of their best games. I have a hard time deciding between that and TWD Season 1 as my favorite Telltale game. They both have basically the complete opposite tones, though.

I had the Monkey Island game installed for a year, but I keep forgetting about it because it's not "on steam" and there was no link on the desktop. It's rumored to be good. Like mentioned, the older games are quite bad (allegedly: never played them myself). Wolf among us was awesome, and TWD s1/2 was quite a memorable experience. Game of Thrones was the lesser of the new games, but it was still quite nice. But the fact that I'm a big Thrones fan and I like it less than TWD despite having no love for zombie-related titles says a lot.
