Didn't have the vicious chair shot in those days though, and Hogan won but still Whoever Gets The Win Gets A USPW Women's Title Shot On Pay-Per-View: Belle Bryden and Cherry Bomb vs. Joanne Rodriguez and Raven Robinson J-Ro gets the shot. Rhino Umaga vs. American Elemental Some momentum for the newcomer. UEW Wrestler Joey Beauchamp vs. Alex Braun The keyword is UEW... JD Morgan vs. American Patriot AmPat isn't there just yet. Rhino Umaga vs. American Elemental Umaga's being billed as a something of an unstoppable beast and Elemental's been a jobber thus far. UEW Wrestler Joey Beauchamp vs. Alex Braun Outside wrestler coming in to do the job JD Morgan vs. American Patriot Morgan's been portrayed as the weakest link in the Hardcore Brotherhood so far but I don't think Patriot's been booked strong enough to get the breakthrough win here. He is accompanied by his girlfriend and manager Seduction. The two walk down to the ring absorbing in the boos from the crowd. Seduction holds the ropes open for Devine and he steps inside, soaking in the crowd hatred. Seduction gets him a microphone and hands it to him. He raises it to his lips and the boos overwhelm him so he pauses. He takes a slow look around and then brings it back to his lips.] Darryl Devine "Once again, you are looking at the man who is STILL the USPW World Champion!" [seduction claps and the crowd boos that revelation for some who did not see the pay-per-view.] Darryl Devine "But, really, are any of you surprised? I am younger than Steve Flash. J-Ro and Raven have some experience teaming together and that experience showed out in this match as they were definitely the more polished duo. Cherry kept trying to get herself tagged into the match as she wanted the opportunity to get a win but Belle Bryden was staying in as much as she could. It all broke down in the end with all four women battling each other. Cherry Bomb and Raven Robinson fell outside the ring, leaving the opening inside the ring. J-Ro hit Belle Bryden with the J-Rocker and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! He successfully defended his title with honor, the Global Warning way. Now he is going to show his allegiance to our cause. He is going to show his allegiance as he lays down on the mat in the center of the ring and lets me pin him to become the new USPW National Champion. Let's go, big man." [bruce looks at Bloodstone for a moment and then he shakes his head. He's not going to do it! Johnny looks angry and he slaps Bruce across the face.] Johnny Bloodstone "I TOLD YOU that I want that title. Now lie down in the center of the ring and let me pin you." [bruce shakes his head again. He's NOT going to lie down for Johnny Bloodstone! Bloodstone is looking more and more angry with each passing moment.] Johnny Bloodstone "I thought that this might happen, Bruce. You see I've been sensing some resistance in you since I formed this group. Now, let me give you a little incentive to lie down for me." [bloodstone nods and Nikolai Taktarov kicks Bruce the Giant between the legs! Bruce covers up and drops down to his knees. Johnny Bloodstone and Nikolai Taktarov begin putting the boots to Bruce the Giant! Bruce goes down to the mat just trying to cover his body up! Johnny Bloodstone exits the ring and grabs a chair! He slides back inside and swings the chair -- BAM! He connected with the skull of Bruce the Giant! Bruce is down and he is hurt! Security officials come running down to the ring to assist but the damage has been done. It would seem to me that my Titans have defeated each and every tag team that you have brought into USPW. If they have teamed up then Tyson Baine and T-Rex have taken them out. Basically, this means that there are no more worthy tag teams to face my two men here. Unless you can find a worthy tag team out there then I nominate The Titans as the most dominant tag team in USPW history. There is nothing left that they have not done." [shane steps back and pats Tyson and T-Rex on the shoulders. He set up American Elemental in the corner -- Rhino Charge! I have gold around my neck. I have the best clothes, the best cars and of course the best women. Soon, I will be adding to my collection of gold, chicos, when I add the USPW World Title around my waist. Remember the name, chicos, Champagne Lover." However, the crowd never really jumped in favor or against either of these wrestlers. The short match was rather dominated by The Iceman. In the end, he dropped Beauchamp with a gutbuster and then hit the Braun Damage Brainbuster. [Yeah, the crowd really listened to that one. BOO!] Enygma "Everyone here saw what happened to Acid last Saturday night at Midsummer Mayhem. I snapped his ankle. It's really as simple as that. But I came out here for one reason and one reason only. I want to challenge Acid to come out here right now. Come on, Acid, let's get this done right here tonight. I'm ready for you. Come on, crowd, help me. Acid! Acid! Acid!" [The crowd begins an 'Acid' chant!] Enygma "Come on, Acid! You come out here right now! I'm waiting for you, Acid!" [Enygma pauses and looks around to the crowd, who really want Acid to come out here and whip Enygma's butt!] Enygma "That's what I thought. You're a coward, Acid! You're a phony! You're a fake! You're nothing!" [Enygma drops the microphone and exits the ring, heading to the back. Both men looked to try to gain the advantage in the punching and kicking department early on and action spilled outside the ring. JD Morgan took control outside the ring, ramming American Patriot into the guardrail. Morgan climbed up on the apron and leaped off with a double axehandle, driving the head of American Patriot down into the steel! The distraction by the presence of Chris Caulfield let American Patriot punch his way back into the match. He clotheslined Morgan down and got the crowd into it with a 'USA' chant! Patriot picked up Morgan and dropped him with a hard vertical suplex into a pinfall: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Patriot pulled up Morgan and ducked a clothesline attempt by JD Morgan! Patriot kicked Morgan in the gut and then lifted him up on his shoulder: Inverted Piledriver! What a move! American Patriot made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!] Winner: American Patriot (Via Pinfall @ 10:04) Match Rating: C [A bit of a minor upset win here for American Patriot. He only handed out a couple of tiny American flags and then stepped inside the ring looking as focused as he has ever looked for this match tonight. It is his shot at winning the USPW World title from the man who beat him in his debut match. "miracle man...your miracle man...your miracle man...your" The crowd booed as Darryl Devine's music began to play and the USPW World Champion stepped from the back along with Seduction. Devine looked as confident as he ever does as he walked down to the ring with that USPW World title belt strapped around his waist. Seduction held the ropes open for him and Devine stepped inside the ring, eyeing his opponent for this evening. He removed the belt from around his waist and handed it off to referee Wilson Carlisle. Seduction rubbed his shoulders as Carlisle held the belt up for the world to see. Seduction dropped to ringside and Carlisle handed the belt outside as Jack turned and raised his hand to the crowd. This gave Devine an opening and he took it, striking America from behind with several forearm shots before the bell.] [He pushed America back into a corner as the bell sounded and chopped his chest three times before irish whipping him across the ring and following that up with a corner clothesline! Devine looked intent on ending this match early! So far Steve Flash has NOT shown up in the building so it looks like he may not make it here tonight. Devine spent the next few minutes in control of Jack America. He focused on the jaw of America with wrenches and punches and kicks all in order to set up for a possible Devine Dream Drop later on in the match. He sent America outside the ring and then got the referee's attention. As the referee was distracted, Seduction used a cable from one of the cameras and choked away at America! The crowd booed this tactic but the referee did not see it. America barely made it back into the ring before the ten count.] [Devine pulled him up and placed him in a corner. He raised America up to sit on the top turnbuckle and then climbed up with him. It looks like he's setting him up for -- a top rope Frankensteiner -- NO! America came alive somehow and reversed the hold into a power bomb! What a move! America crawled over and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! So close to a NEW USPW World Champion! America pulled himself up to his feet. He leaped over Devine and used the ropes as a springboard -- moonsault! He connected! America is getting chants of 'America, America!' Jack America moves Darryl Devine near the corner and then climbs the turnbuckles. He takes aim -- 450 SPLASH! THE 450 CONNECTED! The crowd goes absolutely nuts! America is hurt, though and lies there for a few moments, holding his own ribs. He finally crawls over and makes the cover as the crowd counts along:] [...1... ...2... ...3!] [WHAT?!?! We have a NEW USPW WORLD CHAMPION! The crowd goes absolutely bonkers! NO! WAIT! Darryl Devine's foot is on the ropes! Darryl Devine has saved himself again! The referee calls off the three count as the replay is shown where Devine got his foot on the ropes at 2 and 7/8! Jack America is celebrating but referee Wilson Carlisle approaches him and lets him know exactly what happened. America is NOT happy about that! Seduction gets up on the apron, yelling inside the ring and drawing the attention of the referee. Devine crawls over -- low blow to Jack America! Jack falls to his knees and then down to the mat. Seduction drops off the apron as Devine makes the cover, sliding his own feet on the ropes for extra leverage:] [...1... ...2... ...SHOULDER UP!!!] [somehow Jack America got his shoulder up! How in the world did he do it?!?! Darryl Devine and Seduction are BOTH shocked! The crowd goes absolutely wild! Seduction hops up on the apron again, again distracting the official. Devine goes out of the ring and grabs the USPW World title belt. He slides back in and takes aim on Jack America. America is slow to get to his feet. He turns around -- DUCKS! He ducked the belt shot! Devine turns back -- kick to the gut! The belt goes flying out of the ring! Jack America hooks him for a suplex and then hooks the leg -- Fisherman's Buster! Jack America dropped Darryl Devine with the Fisherman's Buster suplex! America yells at the referee and then makes a cover, hooking the leg this time:] [...1... ...2... ...SHOULDER UP!] [Darryl Devine got his shoulder up at 2 and 15/16ths! What a match! What a main event! Both wrestlers are absolutely exhausted! America lays Devine near the corner again and slowly makes his way back to the top turnbuckle. He leaps -- 450 SPLASH -- MISSED! Darryl Devine rolled out of the way at the last moment and Jack America went splat on the mat! Devine used the ropes to get to his feet, yanking at America to pull him up -- kick to the gut -- DEVINE DREAM DROP! Devine takes Jack America down with his finisher. He makes the cover, hooking the trunks:] [...1... ...2... ...3!] Winner: Darryl Devine (Via Pinfall @ 14:03; Darryl Devine retains the USPW World title) Match Rating: B [The match is finally over and what a match it was! Darryl Devine is definitely proving himself worthy of being the USPW World Champion! Seduction enters the ring with the belt and she is smiling because her man retained and there has been no sign of Steve Flash tonight! Darryl holds up the belt and that's all the time we have for you tonight! We'll see you next -- NO! WAIT! Someone has just come stumbling through the curtain! Flash has all kinds of bandages wrapped around his head but it's definitely him! Darryl Devine and Seduction exit the ring as Flash hits ringside. He makes the 'belt' motion around his waist and then looks under the ring. What is he going for??? It's...a ladder! Steve Flash pulls a ladder out from underneath the ring! He slides the ladder inside the ring and slides inside. Darryl did say that he could choose the stipulation. Darryl Devine and Seduction move around ringside and head back up the ramp as Steve Flash sets up the ladder inside the ring and climbs up to the top. He makes the 'belt' motion while sitting on the top rung of the ladder. It looks like we are going to have a ladder match at USPW Apple Pie And Wrestling! Now we ARE out of time! Tigerkinney Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 I knew Devine-America would pull out a good grade, just wasn't sure what would have warranted Jack getting a title shot, but that was a nice nod to Jack America's 'ruined' debut on the last show Eve Grunge vs. Joanne Rodriguez J-Ro's just earned a title shot, so best to keep her strong. T-Rex vs. Bob Casey Bob Casey FTW.....in another universe maybe. Rhino Umaga vs. American Patriot Patriot may have pulled out the upset win on the last show, but that tied into Chris Caulfield distracting JD Morgan....Sneer Group haven't really got any particular issues with anyone right now (they just hate the rest of the roster) and Umaga is being built up as something of an unstoppable beast. The Hardcore Brotherhood vs. Chris Caulfield and The Fly Boys The tide has turned in this feud, Caulfield now has the upper hand on the Brotherhood.
