USPW - What? This Again?

Recommended Posts

Great PPV, my friend. Almost thought Flash had it won but alas, it was not to be... <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Chris Caulfield and Freddie Datsun vs. The Fly Boys

The newest members of the Hardcore Brotherhood get the win.

Non Title: Joey Beauchamp vs. Bruce the Giant

Interestingly, Beauchamp isn't described as 'UEW Wrestler', but even on USPW's books he isn't ready to defeat Bruce. Could fit in GW though...

Rhino Umaga vs. Alex Braun

Squash.

Travis Century vs. Steve Flash

Flash has been at or near the top for months, and despite all his talk Century hasn't done much in the ring of note.

Darryl Devine and Matthew Keith vs. Johnny Martin and Art Reed

Tough one this, because although I can't see the heels winning cleanly, I can't see them losing cleanly either. Cheat to win.

Chris Caulfield and Freddie Datsun vs. The Fly Boys

Caulfield isn't going to lose his first match after his shocking heel turn.

Non Title: Joey Beauchamp vs. Bruce the Giant

Joey may want to consider forfeiting this match.

Rhino Umaga vs. Alex Braun

Umaga looks like he will be getting a push, Braun is being booked as a veteran gatekeeper from the lower card to the mid card, which at this stage in his career is where he should be booked.

Travis Century vs. Steve Flash

I'm actually going to go against the grain here....Flash has being going after the World Title but that looks to have ended in heroic failure against Darryl Devine. I can see Century taking advantage of a physically broken Flash to pick up a momentum boosting victory for himself.

Darryl Devine and Matthew Keith vs. Johnny Martin and Art Reed

Could go either way, everyone seems to be going for the champions to win, but I'm going to tip Johnny Martin to make an immediate impact and pin the World Champion....Keith does go down as part of the losing team but keeps his 'unbeaten' streak going.

Travis Century vs. Steve Flash

I agree with TK. Century needs more momentum for the Brotherhood of the Cross (wait, that sounds too CHIKARA-like), and Flash just lost his big chance at the title.

Darryl Devine and Matthew Keith vs. Johnny Martin and Art Reed

Martin's got to have some momentum if he's going after Devine. Big win in his first match should do the trick.

[it is one of those infamous booking meetings between Jack and Sam Strong. Every day during the week it is the exact same thing. They meet at Sam's house to work on the future of USPW. The future is definitely in building the talent that is already there. Men like Darryl Devine, Enygma, Art Reed, Nicky Champion. Those are the future of USPW. Jack would bet on those men and as a matter of fact he is willing to take that gamble. Jack was seated at the kitchen table with his boss, Sam Strong. He looked Sam dead in the eyes and spoke with him.."Sam? I think it's almost time for us to look to make that next step. [sitting within his apartment in Huntsville, Alabama, Jack was pretty sure that things were turning on their heels as far as he is concerned. He just got off the phone with Tommy Cornell. Tommy informed him that TCW is looking to expand and has made offers to several USPW wrestlers who are not on written contracts. Those wrestlers are Johnny Bloodstone, American Patriot and announcer Mitch Naess. They are only going to be on pay-per-appearance contracts due to the agreement made between USPW and TCW.
