We start this week’s show with Raw’s equivalent of CM Punks: Straight Talkin’, we see Edge standing in the ring alongside Randy Orton for “The Cutting Edge.”

Edge: Welcome to the Cutting Edge! The new and improved Rated RKO version! I don’t know about you Randy but there’s some young punks over on SmackDown that think they can berate someone for being a second generation superstar.

Randy Orton: You see Edge what Cody Rhodes doesn’t get is, when you are a second generation superstar. You are born to become a wrestler, you have wrestling in your blood and you are willing to do whatever it takes to become the best at what you do.

Edge: So what your trying to say is if you turn your back on being a second generation wrestler you have no right to stand inside a WWE ring? You see…Cody! We are the most controversial superstars in the WWE Universe, you try to take on a second generation superstar before you even have the chance to carve your own path. Then you’ve just signed your own death wish.

Randy Orton: You see Cody, at Survivor Series, Rated RKO is going to destroy you and then…We’re going to take your World Tag Team titles. Then we’ll show you why you shouldn’t try to carve your own path off of the careers others. The last person to do that successfully was…

Edge: The Legend Killer Randy Orton!

As soon as the words leave his mouth a video plays on the titantron:

Randy Orton: You see Cody, I’m going to take the legend of the Rhodes family and KILL IT!

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/AlexRiley-1.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/EvanBourne.jpg

After a quick commercial we are treated to a match between the United States championship defence between Evan Bourne and Alex Riley. The match came to its conclusion as Alex Riley was disqualified through the interference from the masked man in the crowd. However after the match the unknown figure had left the crowd which annoyed both Evan and Alex Riley.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/ShaneMcMahon.jpg

Following suit after a middle of the road match was a great promo from Shane McMahon as he announced a special preview of the Cruiserweight division. He stated that a match between Evan Bourne, Pac, Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio next week on Raw.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/LaylaEl2.jpghttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/MichelleMcCool3.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/BethPhoenix.jpghttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/NattieNeidhart.jpg

We follow the announcement from Shane we follow on with a divas tag team match between: Beth Phoenix & Natalya against LayCool. LayCool picked up the win following Layla’s “Layout” neck breaker. However as the winning team celebrate, with Layla going to get her belt from ringside it is snatched from her hands by Michelle McCool who celebrates.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/MichelleMcCool.jpghttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/LaylaEl.jpg

After another commercial we are taken to the divas locker room where we see Michelle McCool polishing up the Women’s championship and Layla stands beside her with a grim look on her face. Clearly unimpressed with her partner she walks out of the locker room and down the corridor.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/Sheamus.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/DanielBryan.jpg

Next up on the card is a great match between the new King Of the Ring and the Celtic Warrior; Sheamus. During the match we saw Bryan take care of Sheamus by selling his moves perfectly and still staying strong. However the ending of the match saw a disgruntled Miz sprint down to ringside and grab the KOTR trophy only to try and attack Bryan with it. However as he does, Daniel ducks under the swing and it misses, striking Sheamus across the forehead busting him open. As the claret pours from the face of Sheamus the referee turns around after being distracted from Alex Riley. As he sees the extent of the damage to Sheamus, the referee calls for the bell and announces Bryan as the winner through referee’s stoppage.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/JohnCena.jpghttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/wadeBarrett.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/TysonKidd.jpghttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/DavidHartSmith.jpg

Next up is the main event and we see the team of Wade Barret & John Cena take on and defeat the Hart Dynasty. However after the match we find out that John Cena’s night was not over just yet…

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/ShaneMcMahon.jpghttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/JohnCena.jpg

Just as we see John Cena and Wade Barret prepare to take out the former WWE Tag Team champions, we hear the sound of Shane McMahons music and out he walks for the second time tonight.

Shane McMahon: John, John, John. You’ve made a big challenge on yourself and you know what? I like that! I like to see a man that be a fighting champion and see off all comers. However since you’ve made you’re bed, you will lie in it! So tonight I’m putting you in a match against…Goldust!

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/JohnCena.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/Goldust.jpg

In a match that garnered a mixed response from the crowd we saw John Cena defeat and for the second week in a row destroy a veteran. This week he destroyed Goldust with the help of the Nexus post match. Causing Shanes plan to backfire.

The wrestling truth can officially reveal that World Wrestling Entertainment have made an approach to TNA contractor; Steven Haworth, of Desmond Wolfe and Nigel McGuinness fame. However there has not been a confirmation, nor a rejection on the contract status between Haworth and the WWE. This would however come as a small blow to TNA as he has been MIA from TNA Televised and Live event for several months now.

In other news we can now confirm that the returning tag team to the WWE are well liked in the company and are: Devon E. Hughes and Mark S. LoMonaco of The Dudley Boyz. However the lenght of contract signed is still under speculation.

This weeks WWE SmackDown has been announced by the company and it looks as followed:

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston

Layla El vs. Kelly Kelly

Intercontinental Championship:

Kaval vs. Dolph Ziggler

Kane & CM Punk vs. MVP & Rey Mysterio

The Dirt Sheet this week brings you the rumour that former WWF competitor; Ken Shamrock is in the spotlight to return and challenge John Cena to his WWE Championship at Survivor Series in a few weeks. However this is just a rumour at this stage.

Another rumour circulating around the webscape this week is the supposed affair between Vickie Guerrero and World Wrestling Employee; Jerry Lawler. However this remains unconfirmed.

Welcome to the premiere edition of the monthly recap in which we take all of the action from the past 2 weeks in the World Wrestling Entertainment. We take all of the major feuds and break them down into how they played out over the month. First off is the World Heavyweight title match:

12th November: Throughout the night we see Paul Bearer berating Kane, trying to get him psyched up for his match at Survivor Series. However by the end of the night Kane snapped and goes on a rampage during the main event. He won his own match midway through the night against Rey Mysterio and MVP but he also destroyed his own tag team partner; CM Punk. However he wasn’t finished yet as he erased the career of The Great Khali as he faced off against John Cena.

19th November: This week we saw The Undertaker continue his mind games following his mysterious absence from last weeks show. However this sparks Kane off into another rage, this time taking it out on the Divas. In a controversial angle, Kane took out Michelle McCool and Layla via choke slamming them through two tables simultaneously, in an attempt to appease the internet fans. Towards the end of the night, we had Paul Bearer finally calm the big red machine and said he had a way to block out Takers mind games and he would reveal it at Survivor Series.

15th November: After a lack of build up since winning the King Of the Ring, Daniel Bryan wanted to take on John Cena before the pay per view. However Shane McMahon wanted the fans to wait and siding against John Cena yet again, he made the main event a special guest referee match with Bryan as the referee. John Cena won the match against Randy Orton, throughout the match however Michael Cole kept talking down to the “internet darling” despite Daniel Bryan calling the match straight down the middle.

After that match we had the Nexus swarm the ring and in a change of fashion; John told them to hold off on attacking Bryan as he wanted to do it “right.”

Now we’ll take a look at the John Cena’s own invitational angle which took precedent over his title run;

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/JohnCena3.jpg

12th November: As noted previously we saw on this edition of SmackDown, the invasion the biggest heel on Raw; John Cena as he challenged Shane O’Mac to a match at Survivor Series. Instead he was booked against The Great Khali in the main event. However he narrowly missed a beating from Kane in one of the best monster moments from SmackDown.

15th November: On this edition of Raw we saw John Cena take on Randy Orton after being booked against him in a special referee match. However after the show (via WWE.com) we are treated to a challenge from Randy Orton as he was cashing in on his rematch clause.

19th November: Following on from Raws ending and the triple threat match made for Survivor Series we see Cena once again on the following SmackDown. We are given a huge preview to survivor Series as John Cena teamed up with the Nexus to draw with Team WWE and Daniel Bryan. However there still seems hostility towards the Nexus and Shane made another match for Survivor Series as the Nexus (Wade Barret, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, David Otunga & Michael Tarver) were booked to take on; Team WWE (The Big Show, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, MVP & Evan Bourne).

We’ll now take a look at how the team WWE & the Nexus match came to fruition in such a short amount of time:

12th November: Following a long history of run ins and ambushes on WWE talent, the Nexus finally stepped onto SmackDown soil on this edition. However they were met with a wall of superstars, ranging from The Big Show all the way down to Hornswoggle. However the Nexus simply ploughed their way through the smaller members of the roster. They managed to escape the larger athletes like Show and Gallows by the scruff of their necks. Later on in the night they interjected themselves into a match between Alberto Del Rio and Kofi Kingston. This cost Kofi the match and he wanted revenge and would set out to get it alongside his Smackdown comrades.

15th November: The following Monday on Raw the Nexus was back in full force and destroying everything in its way. This time however Raw had some backup of its own in Kofi, Big Show and MVP. However this along with the rookies of the Raw roster still couldn’t muster the strength to bring down the Nexus. However on the Smackdown following they would even the odds.

19th November: On this edition of SmackDown we had the first official uniting of Smackdown and Raw to defeat the Nexus. However it wasn’t to be as the teams could only manage a draw once both teams descended into chaos. But neither one got any great deal of momentum going into the match at Survivor Series.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker-1.png

In one of the underrated storylines of the month we were treated to a new Intercontinental champion on SmackDown and a feud between three men began:

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/kaval.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/AlbertoDelRio.jpg

12th November: In an outstanding match the winner of NXT season two and internet phenomenon; Kaval picked up the victory over Dolph Ziggler. This ended his run as Intercontinental before it took on any momentum. However backstage after the match, the tension between Kaval and Del Rio grew to boiling point and a challenge was made by Kaval: if Del Rio could beat Dolph then he gets a shot at the title come Survivor Series.

19th November: Following on from last week, Alberto Del Rio did pick up the win and announced to the crowd that come Survivor Series he’ll not only win Kavals title but he’ll also take the services of his Pro’s; LayCool. However no official say over there contracts was announced as a stipulation. Instead, Kaval stated that the match would be a Last Man Standing match.

In a feud that has been going on since just after Night Of Champions, Cody Rhodes has been berating every second generation superstar on the roster. Week in and week out he has been burying them in some of his greatest mic work to date, but the match was made this past Friday night on the19th November edition of SmackDown as Shane wanted to take it back to the 2000's. On his first step of reigniting the tag division, Shane made it a fatal four way tag team match and with it being Survivor Series he made it elimination rules.

Jerry Lawler: Welcome ladies and gentleman to the 24th annual instalment of WWE Survivor Series.

Matt Striker: That’s right King and what a packed show we have for you tonight, with two of the biggest main events in wrestling history!

Jerry Lawler: Tonight we’ll be seeing the return of the Last Ride Match between The Deadman; The Undertaker and his twisted brother; Kane.

Matt Striker: But first things first we have a few words from the internet sensation himself; Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan: Tonight. At the 24th Survivor Series, the WWE Universe will be rocked to its foundation as there will be a new WWE Champion! Daniel Bryan! John Cena, you brought this on yourself, you brought me back at Summer Slam. That means you’ve signed away your title to the world travelled, indies veteran known as Daniel!...No. Bryan Danielson!

As he finishes his self promotion, we hear the sound of clapping as the former mentor of Daniel Bryan walks into the shot.

The Miz: Daniel Bryan…The biggest loser in NXT history is headlining Survivor Series. Where is the logic? What’s worse is that the greatest superstar in history isn’t even on the show; The Miz! But you know what Bryan! I will make an impact on the WWE and it will happen, you see if I’m not given a match tonight. Then I’m going ensure that a loser rookie, like you! Is not going to walk out the WWE Champion! Why? Because I’m The Miz, and I’m Awesome!!!

The opening match of the night saw Kaval take on and pick up the win over Alberto Del Rio in a gruelling last man standing match. During the match we saw multiple outstanding ladder bumps including a huge Warrior’s Way from the top of the ladder. However the match also included some sound wrestling and not just high spots, this seemed to excite and surprise the audience. But another story came out of the match as we saw Kaval and Del Rio attacked from the mystery man at ringside once again, this annoyed both men as he was trying to ruin a great match.

We move swiftly on with the next match as we saw Natalya take on and defeat Maryse and picked up a win on behalf of the Hart Dynasty. This was the standard divas match which should have stayed on TV over Pay-Per View.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

Then we are treated with a recap of some of wrestling’s greatest tag teams as we approach the four corners survival match:

Following on from the recap of Tag Team Wrestling we see a great tag team match between The DiBiase’s, Matt Hardy & Rey Mysterio, The Hart Dynasty and the reigning Unified Tag Team champions; Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre. The team that came out on top was the champions as it came down to them and Matt Hardy once Rey Mysterio couldn’t continue after suffering an injury mid match. Taking the advantage to the best of their abilities, Cody Rhodes rattled Hardy with a Bionic Elbow and Hardy staggers into the Scot Drop from McIntyre. The lethal combination gives the tag team champions the final elimination and the victory over team Hardy & Mysterio.

In an unannounced match added to the show during the preshow, we saw Edge defeat Sheamus in a subpar performance. However during the match Sheamus did show some signs of a face turn, but nothing came of it as he drove Edge through a table post match. This is the second time Edge has fallen prey to the Celtic Warrior. However Randy Orton did come out from the back to prevent anything else happening to his tag team partner, this saw Sheamus “heading for the hills”.

In a hotly anticipated bout we saw the leader of the Nexus stand tall over the largest athlete in the world after they defeated Team WWE. However it wasn’t plain sailing for the English born Barret as he was the only member of his team left against three of the members of Team WWE. However through the eliminated members of the Nexus running back into the ring, Wade Barret managed to claw his way through an injured Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne as Big Show was attacked by all four members of the Nexus. The match ended with Wade Barret nailed The Big Show with multiple European Uppercuts and one final big boot to the face of Big Show as he knelt on the floor in pain. After the match it looked as though Big Show was making his way to his feet but before he could Barret ordered his stable mates to start piling on top the 7ft monster. But as Barret made a swift escape Show powered out of the pileup and pointed at Barret before clearing house of the Nexus.

Following on from an enormous Survivor Series style match up we are taken to a darkened cell and the camera shoots the action from outside as a single lantern lights the room.

Kane: I can’t take it anymore, I just can’t handle anymore! The twisted a disturbed Kane cannot go on without destroying my only enemy, my own brother must face the destruction and be destroyed by the darkest chasms of hell. Father I have to end the career of The Deadman for the last time, I’ve done it before and I can do it again! But with the shining light he has on his side, the darkness will consume me once again. Instead of destroying him I’ve made him more powerful, the power of the urn is useless once more.

Paul Bearer: Kane, your own brother forced the hand of the devil and unleashed the beast within you. When he tore off your mask he unleashed an evil so fierce that no man has been able to stop you, not him not anyone. I told you I could make you stronger and make you an unstoppable machine once again. But to do this…Kane…you need to embrace the darkness once again…Kane…You need to become the big red monster once again. Like a phoenix from the flames…

The camera feed cuts off mid sentence and we are briefly taken to the arena and Matt Striker tries to fill in time but as he does we are taken straight back to the shadowy cell. However the familiar shapes of Kane and Bearer no longer reside in its darkened whole, instead on a chair in the corner we see a red and black mask solemn in its entirety. In the background as the camera fades to black we hear the laughing of Kane sound down the speakers.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/WorldHeavyweightChampion.jpg

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/TheUndertaker.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/KaneWithMask.jpg

The first main event of the night was on behalf of SmackDown as we saw Kane defeat The Undertaker in a Last Ride Match for the World Heavyweight championship. However it was a very balanced match between the two big men which saw Taker gain the upper hand earlier on in the match until Kane pulled back the momentum with a little help from a steel chair. Ominous by his absence, Paul Bearer finally came down to ringside once his son; Kane became beaten down to the mat and looked to be the loser.

However Bearer pulled it back for Kane as he threw in the mask that he pulled from the urn and instantly as it hit the canvas Kane sat up and stared at his brother. Following this Kane no sold multiple stiff shots from Taker and slung him out to ringside with a choke slam, but before putting the mask on it seemed as though Kane was battling with his demons but put it on anyway. Seemingly revitalised Kane dragged the carcass of his fallen brother up the ramp and managed to get him into the hearse after another exchange of blows between the two.

After the match however Kane raised his arms up with the title in hand and slammed them down which erupted the hearse into flames. But before the camera cuts away on the titantron the Undertakers face appears and his eyes open for a second with the reflection of flames igniting them.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/wweund.jpg

The second and final match of the night saw the underdog in Bryan Danielson pick up the win over Randy Orton as John Cena was preoccupied on the outside with Alex Riley. The match ran for a total 16:56 and it ended when Bryan locked Randy in his Lebelle Lock and force the viper to tap out after about a minute in the hold. The star of the match was the new WWE Champion as he carried the other two men for the majority of the bout.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Breaker.png

However the night wasn’t over just yet as the new champion went out into the crowd, but he was violently attacked from a crowd member who revealed himself to be The Miz. After a beat down from Alex Riley and The Miz, the money in the bank briefcase was cashed in and The Miz made good on his promise from the start of the night and walked out the WWE Champion. The show closes with the new champion holding the belt above his head standing over Bryan Danielson who lays in a pool of his own blood.

Straight from WWE offices itself, the roster of Florida Championship Wrestling is preparing itself for some shake up. The young McMahon is wanting to reevaluate its contribution to the WWE product as for the last year it has given the company a "cookie cutter" worker, which Shane has stated is a "redundant factor" dragging the company down. This comes as Shane has been scouting independent companys and WWE's own direct competitor; TNA, through the use of DVDs and other outlets.

As of yet, no names have been mentioned to be coming into the company or departing from it.

In other news, come back later as we will be posting the Month In Review column and the preview for this Sundays Armageddon. Also it has been confirmed through the WWE website that Chris Masters has been released from his contract for the second time due to violations of the drugs test.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/TheMiz.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/DanielBryan.jpg

First off this month we look at the newly crowned WWE Champion; The Miz, who is set to face off against long time nemesis; Bryan Danielson at Armageddon.

22nd November: The first night under the age of awesomeness as The Miz pronounced in the opening promo. However the celebrations were short lived for Mizanin as an angered Bryan stormed out to ringside with the crowd well and truly in his favour. Bryan demanded his rematch that night, but The Miz denied him the opportunity and said he was too exhausted after his rigorous performance the previous night. However he did say he would fight him at Armageddon, but under one stipulation; if Danielson loses he will never get another WWE title shot as long as Miz is champion. To which Danielson hesitantly accepted.

Later that night, Danielson was able to give a precursor to what will happen to Miz at Armageddon by defeating Alex Riley in under ten minutes.

29th November: The following week saw the first in ring confrontation between The Miz and Danielson since Survivor Series. However despite trying his damndest to grab hold of the champ, he always managed to tag in and out with Alex Riley as Bryan tagged with Randy Orton who had grown sick of The Miz’ attitude backstage since winning the strap.

6th December: Following on from Danielson’s first loss in WWE for many months the previous week, he picked his game up with a win over a man he has respected for years; William Regal. This match was made through The Miz pleading with Shane McMahon to make it an official match, hoping that hiding behind a former mentor of Danielsons would stop the internet darling from concentrating on the task at hand.

However when The Miz assumed he was distracted by Regal The Miz tried to strike Danielson with his belt but it was ducked and Bryan locked him in the Lebelle Lock. This amused Regal who simply walked out on the match and was counted out, as he looked back at the champion in the submission hold, Regal smiled and said that’s my boy.

13th December: With the rumour of a brand draft before the Royal Rumble, The Miz was in high spirits this week and he returned to in ring action too. He took on and defeated Primo in what was clearly a set up, The Miz using his backstage powers since becoming WWE Champion was obvious.

This enraged Danielson who shot a word perfect promo on him, saying that he had never had to play the politics game and that might have been the way it was done on “reality TV.” No sooner were the words out of his mouth and someone tried to ambush him from behind and Danielson locked in the Lebelle Lock once more. This time however the attackers shoulder dislocated and Danielson simply stood up and declared himself as the new reality.

Next up on the month in review is the history of SmackDown main event at Armageddon between: Kane and Rey Mysterio.

26th November: What began as a simple one on one match between Kane and Rey Mysterio on this edition of SmackDown, turned into the mental destruction of the Big Red Monster. After winning the match against Mysterio he was ordered at the hand of Paul Bearer to attack Mysterio. But he was fighting his own demons which gave Mysterio the chance to talk down to the monster saying that he was a hypocrite and has double standards. For months he tried to destroy Mysterio and unmask him only to begin wearing his old mask once again. The show closed as Mysterio stood proud in the ring with Kane on the entrance ramp holding his head in his hands.

3rd December: The following weeks SmackDown saw the feud between Kane and Mysterio continue as not only did Kane attack Mysterio’s own uncle; Mysterio Jr. But he also attacked and set on fire Mysterio’s close friend; Noah Bernardo as he was playing Mysterios entrance theme song. The match in which Bernardo was playing the song for Rey was interrupted as well, when the lights went out in the arena. This allowed for Kane to make it into the ring and attack Mysterio, only to carry him out of the ring and up the ramp.

10th December: Ominous by his absence, CM Punk was handed a victory over Rey Mysterio as he didn’t arrive to the arena on time for the match. However after the match a video started playing on the titantron showing Mysterio chained up and into the shot walked Paul Bearer laughing as walked over to Rey and tried to unmask him. But as he does the video almost seemed to erupt into flames preventing the fans from seeing the face of Mysterio.

17th December: On this edition of SmackDown we saw Mysterio return to the show but without his patented mask. Instead he was wearing an Undertakeresque mask down to ringside with a demon logo on his tights. He announced to the crowd that last week he managed to escape the clutches of Kane and Bearer through some devine intervention. Not mentioning Taker directly, the fans assumed it was through his intervention. The new gear for Mysterio gave him a win over CM Punk and Luke Gallows in a handicap match. It also allowed him to evade the attack from Kane following the main event match. Through winning the handicap match, Mysterio won a chance to take on the champion in two days time at Armageddon.

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/JohnCena.jpgvshttp://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii164/Steesh07/Pink/ShaneMcMahon.jpg

The third biggest rivalry within the WWE is between John Cena and Shane McMahon.

22nd November: Continuing on his open challenge to anyone and everyone from WWE past and present; John Cena was on hype duty once again. However following on from last month, Cena challenged Shane McMahon once again saying that he has been the only one holding him back since he returned to the WWE. The challenge went unanswered from Shane; instead Cena was “challenged” by Hornswoggle. Needless to say, Cena destroyed the leprechaun. After the match however Cena announced that he had beaten on “illegitimate son” of McMahons and soon it would be another, referring to Shane.

29th November: The following week saw another challenge extended to the prodigal son of the WWE. However as with last week Shane declined and a counter challenge was made. This time for Armageddon, Shane announced that he would have two opponents to face at Armageddon and next week would be a warm up match.

6th December: This week we saw John Cena against Edge against Randy Orton in a triple threat match. The winner of the match was John Cena after a match that lasted for 20 minutes through the help of the Nexus. After the match however Cena got on to the microphone for the third week in a row and demanded to be told who would be his opponents at Armageddon. The demand went unanswered.

13th December: Following on from the demands of Cena last week, the plot thickens as he attacks Shane from behind as he enters the arena. Later in the show as we continue the footage of the attack and Cena has Shane by the scruff of his neck threatening to throw him off the stage. However as Shane is about to throw him off the stage, from behind Cena’s legs are taken out from under him. The attackers reveal themselves as The Dudley Boys; D-Von lifts Cena in the air and lifts him onto the shoulders of Bubba Ray who power bombs him down off of the staging and through some tables below.

The cruiserweight division as promised from Shane prior to Survivor Series was finally taking shape over the past month. However not without a price:

26th November: The Cruiserweight division was slowly getting a revitalisation prior to Survivor Series; however there was a clear opposition to the division being reborn. This continued as he attacked in the first official match under the Cruiserweight banner between Kaval and Dolph Ziggler. As soon as the match started it was over and announced as a draw through no contest once the masked assailant struck both Kaval and Ziggler before leaping over the barricade and escaping.

3rd December: Following on in great fashion from last week, the fans were given a match between Raw and SmackDown this week. This week we saw Chavo Guerrero take on Evan Bourne and once again the masked invader struck both men causing a draw. But he’d evade any repercussion once again.

13th December: Just ten days after the attack on Chavo and Bourne, Shane decided to bring the Cruiserweights over to Raw to try and gain a clean finish. However, as with recent weeks the attacker can get in on the action on any show available. He did so with finesse this week as he leaped from the turnbuckle to the announcers table, driving his/her elbow into the ribs of Primo and sends them both through the table.

17th December: Back to its usual home the Cruiserweight division still couldn’t kick off on its course, instead it was taken back a step as Shane announced plans to shut it down. Instead however he lay down a hefty bounty on the head of the masked attacker and announced a battle royal for Armageddon.

Another match going into Armageddon is between the Straight Edge Society of Punk and Gallows against three other tag teams in WWE; Rated RKO, The Hart Dynasty and The Nexus.

22nd November: The fallout from the Team WWE vs. Nexus tag match at Survivor Series, rocked the landscape of the WWE. This was felt the following night on the November 22nd edition of Raw as The Nexus tried to attack Rated RKO in their tag team titles match. The immediate attack failed and saw Randy Orton RKO half of the Nexus immediately followed by Edge spearing the hell out of the other half. This had prevented the tag team champions from being handed a win and instead the match continued. The winners who prevailed were indeed Rated RKO and named the new Tag Team Champions, not to the approval of the Cody Rhodes who continued to run his mouth on Randy Orton.

26th November: The following Friday saw Cody Rhodes continue his verbal assault on Randy Orton, thinking he’d be out of the vipers reach on SmackDown. However it wasn’t to be as Orton ran down to the ring and anhilated Rhodes before punting him in the head. His own tag team partner tried to bail out of the arena before being caught but he was stopped by Edge, who surprising showed him mercy and let him go. However Shane McMahon had plans for the new tag team champs as they were on the show, they’d have to defend the titles. But the only team available was indeed The Straight Edge Society, who gladly obliged. Throughout the match that night, the Champions were on the back foot as they were constantly insulted and berated by Wade Barret who was at the commentary booth. The finish of the match saw the champions lose due to a count out as the Nexus prevented Orton from re-entering the ring. But the WWE security and referees managed to get in between the three teams before it could reach a boiling point.

29th November: This weeks Raw saw the Hart Dynasty try and get in on the action and they did so in a big way as they defeated the younger members of the Nexus; Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel. It wasn’t plain sailing however as they almost attacked CM Punk, who was given free reign on commentary and through this nearly got caught out by the Nexus members around ring side.

3rd December: On this edition of SmackDown we saw a fatal four way match between; Luke Gallows, David Hart Smith, Edge & Wade Barret. With all of the teams members banned from ringside it was time for the tag teams to make it on their own and surprisingly the star of the match was Luke Gallows who put in a superstar worthy performance even if he was the one that picked up the loss at the hands of David Hart Smith. Needless to say the story between Edge and Wade had moved on as they battled on the outside throughout the match.

6th December: Just days after the fatal four way match went on air, there was yet another four way match between the other tag team partners. This time we saw; CM Punk, Tyson Kidd, Randy Orton and Michael Tarver take each other on. However this time the star of the match was Randy Orton who dominated over Kidd and Tarver whilst Punk took a rest and sat at the commentary booth. Despite his time out on commentary Punk picked up the win over Tyson Kidd while Orton was trying to drag Tarver into the ring.

The final feud from the Month In Review is between Alberto Del Rio, Kaval and LayCool.

Monthly Round up: Since losing at Survivor Series Del Rio had a grudge to bear and he carried it for the last four weeks. From lashing out at everyone and anyone, Del Rio finally calmed down whenever he saw Michelle McCool and Layla. This didn’t go down well with Kaval, with them being his manager since he arrived in the WWE. So Kaval offered a challenge, one more match at Armageddon, this time a TLC match with the Title and Manager contracts on the line. However if Del Rio was to lose then he would have to leave the WWE for good. Del Rio accepted and the match was made.
