Hi all

After a lot of chat about this following on Mad's awesome concept and all-too-short dynasty I've decided to have a go at trying to hold it together in it's next incarnation.

Obviously this may well explode but I'll give it a shot.

Those who were involved before - you know the score.

Those who were unaware the concept is basically a fed full of workers from the GDS boards. I'll set up and run the game but (almost) every worker will be a person from this board. We'll run storylines, everyone will submit their own promos, belts will be fought for, etc, etc.

Needless to say all involved dont have to be wrestlers. Managers, valets etc would be very welcome. Needless to say The Fearsome Bunsen will be involved initially as The Boss, but depending on the ongoing development of HCWA he may well become an active competitor...

At the moment I'm slightly unsure on a couple of questions.

Location.

Should this be based in Cleveland again or should my version be moved to my own location: sunny London?

Product.

We'll definitely only have a medium heel/face ratio. I'm far more interested in shades of grey characters.

Style

I'd prefer a bit more of a focus on tagteams and high-fliers but I'll be guided by who wants to be involved.

Schedule

I'll be looking at running one show per week. For now the plan is to get promoes etc from everyone by Wednesday midnight GMT and put the show up on Friday. This is a guess though!

Any thoughts here would be welcome.

Location

Maybe we should go fill in that giant gap in the Mid South? That'd be my personal first choice. I don't know much about UK in the game so perhaps that's best. Really anywhere would do.

Product

Off the top of my head I'm thinking...

Key: Mainstream

Heavy: Modern

Medium: Comedy, Cult

Low: Hardcore, Daredevil

I don't know how that looks in game nor am I really good at putting together products without the game to allow trial and error.

Style

I think it should be a blend and work that to our advantage. Mix-matched tag teams and the like. High fliers is fine, but there's nothing like a good old fashioned brawl in my opinion. Maybe play off of the style differences and work it into storylines and such. I think mixing brawlers in with the high fliers and eccentric characters is the way to go.

Working off of that idea I got another one. What if there was no real "World" championship. But instead go with style specific titles? A high fliers title, a brawlers title, and a technicians title. Each with their own set of rules and gimmick matches to settle bitter feuds.

The tag titles would not be style specific and would lead to mix-matched teams joining forces and could serve as both the main focus of the promotion and the launching point of other feuds.

Additionally, instead of an world title there's a tournament at the end of the year that leads to the winner of the "world" title. Perhaps even a six man tag tournament in the middle of the year as well?

Love the pic. I didnt forget heel/face. Im going to try to avoid being obvious about who is what. Even the most friendly face could launch a sneak attack. Even the most cowardly cheat can stand up for what he beleives in. If it doesnt work I can always change it.

Loads of ideas - thanks man. I'd really like this to be a collaboration. I especially think youre right about tag teams. I think the tag titles will be the top ones in the company so rather than established teams we'll get some weird alliances and clashes.

Apart from that we'll probably have one or two singles belts depending on our size. Style/class tbc.

I'm leading towards a UK base now. Local flavour is important and I can do that best from here. And I like the idea of a bunch of North Americans with odd gimmicks stranded in England. Obvious funnies.

Any location is fine by me, as it doesn't really have a big effect. Regarding other topics, I also think that medium heel/face is better, so that if there will be more heels than faces, it will balance it out.

For styles, I'd let the people do the talking. It might take the fun off it for some people if they "have to" do through guidelines. I'm all for tag teams - as I love tag wrestling -, and a partner for Ossium Compages should fit well.
