He is fluent in English actually he has been based in the US for 7 months, which has included a US Indie epic - York and Hoshino vs. Cowboy Buck and The Flash and King Kong & Dead Bolt against that team. The Mexican, the protégé of USPW franchise player Toni "Champagne Lover" Ramoray. The promotion is a throwback to the old-school wrestling of the 80's and so the cult following for the 23 year-old seems surprising, but as anyone who has seen the young luchadore wrestle will tell you he is a delight to watch. He has featured in all of TEW.com's Top 10 AWA matches and the campaign for him to become the promotions champion is overwhelming in the small promotion. Born in Mexico City, the fans of AWA's home Huntsville Fairgrounds chant "Hero!" from the start until the end of the regional promotions shows which has never seen such support for a worker. Some put this down to Gareth Wayne's protective and expressive booking of The Mexican Hero, but most would stand by the view that the excellent skills of the Mexican and his exceptional star quality, many believe it is only a matter of time before he is on USPW TV and his match 2 weeks ago against Hell's Bouncer is considered the best AWA match ever and saw their excellent feud culminate when Hell's Bouncer choke slammed Hero through a table and win the match, making the fans even more eager to see the strap on Mexican Hero. He is a former AWA Arena Champion and his excellent run with that belt was the catalyst for his unique rise to fame in the South East, many of his matches have also been hits on Youtube with the current top comments being, "Giant Khoklov is main eventing on USPW and this guy is down here, WTF USPW!" and "Was @ that show nd what a guy he's even better than his trainer, 6:23 is one of the best tornado DDT's I've seen, Hero!, Hero!,Hero!" He truly is an internet darling.
