Seeing a photo made by an internet wrestling fan was the only inspiration needed for Vince McMahon and the wheels were set in motion. The Road to WrestleMania in 2011 was about to be blown upside down and he wasn't going to have it any other.

But could Vince sway the mind of Steve Borden from TNA and over to the WWE?

How will the debut of Sting happen?

Or will it even happen?

Royal Rumble Remains Unknown!

The main story to come out of the royal rumble is of the first unknown winner of the match. That being because of the lights going out in the closing seconds of the match only for them to come back on and show both The Undertaker and Kane down on the outside of the ring with both their feet clearly on the ground. However with no man (or woman) claiming the victory, the WWE board have issued the ultimatum of either claim the win or forfeit the WrestleMania main event. More news will become available on Raw this Monday night.

Daniel Bryan Outstanding!

Despite only gaining 4 eliminations in the match, the former NXT rookie made a great impact on the Rumble as he outlasted 18 other superstars. Some of the biggest names were ousted before Bryan, including;

John Cena, Jerry Lawler, Wade Barrett and the returning Diesel. Officials are said to be impressed with his outstanding in ring contributions of late.

Diesel Powered!

Upon the return of Diesel the fans went wild in the Boston Garden last night and with good reason. The heavyweight powerhouse amounted a great showing following his 4 eliminations including favourite to win; Alberto Del Rio. However he also seemed to have a hidden agenda behind the eliminations as he was apparently "protecting" someone within the match.

Brothers Destroyed!

Despite spending the majority of the match in the crowd or outside of the ring brawling; The Undertaker and Kane stole the show. They finally brawled their way back into the ring upon the entry of number 37; Vladimir Kozlov and Michael McGillicutty who were eliminated almost instantly.

Too LayCool for School?

Despite the anonymous Raw general manager changing the match at the final minute, Michelle McCool and Layla overcame the odds and won back the WWE Divas championship. They both won the belt however as they simultaneously pinned both Eve and Natalya, the clear champion has not been stated.

He's Truly Awesome!

No one thought he could do and they were right, Randy Orton was unable to reclaim his title belt over The Miz. The finish of the match saw CM Punk interfere in the match and decapitate the head of Orton with his patented GTS.

Spear, Spear, Spear!

Despite having the cards stacked well and truly against him, the World Heavyweight champion managed to retain his strap. He did so following the help of Kelly Kelly and his own 'banned' finishing move; the Spear after a referee bump.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov vs. Mason Ryan & David OtungaOpening the show in a dark match was Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov against the New Nexus team of Mason Ryan & David Otunga. This was mainly used for some comedic relief to warm the crowd up and it ended in a time limit draw with the New Nexus on the offensive.

Following a quick pyrotechnic sequence we are shown a recap of the Royal Rumble including its mysterious ending. But the video still doesn’t reveal who was eliminated first and the eventual winner.

The opening match of the card saw Daniel Bryan pick up an enormous shock victory over the straight edge leader of the New Nexus; CM Punk. However it wasn’t by pin fall, nor by submission but by a disqualification following the interference from the Nexus. Despite almost destroying Bryan, Punk seemed displeased with the Nexus to say the least. After the match, Punk began barking orders at the group and they listened intently.

When we return from the commercial, the lights dim to an ambient red and a theme that is rarely heard on Raw sounds down the PA system.

Out from the curtain slowly walks the demented looking being known as Kane, he slowly walks down to the ring with a grimacing look on his face. He enters the ring with clear intentions in mind and he grabs the microphone from Tony Chimel before throwing him over the top rope and down to ringside.

Kane:

Kane: Last night, last night I beat twenty nine other men and my brother…The Undertaker in the Royal Rumble. But what you didn’t see was when I eliminated The Undertaker before he re-entered the ring and planted me with a Tombstone! I am the rightful man to go to WrestleMania and no one can prove me wrong!

An intense laughing sounds down the speaker system in the packed out arena, out from the back walks The Undertaker who stares through Kane.

The Undertaker:

Kane, my baby brother, we both know that this isn’t about the Royal Rumble, this isn’t about the mystery attack last night. This, this has always been about us. You see, you may have buried me alive, but…Baby brother…The light shines in the darkness the darkness can never extinguish it. For I am the fallen prophet, I am The Undertaker and at Elimination Chamber I challenge you to a match and the winner. The winner will go on to WrestleMania and one of us will reclaim what is rightful mine! At Elimination Chamber, I will have MY VENGEANCE!

As the words leave the lips of The Undertaker he kneels on the ground and performs his signature taunt, but as he does the light black out for the second time in two nights. When they reignite Kane is on the mat with ‘18 - 1’ seemingly etched into his back and on the ramp stands The Undertaker no more. In his place is the World Heavyweight Championship.

In the second match of Raw, we saw LayCool take on and lose at the hands of Beth Phoenix & Natalya. The finish of the match came as Layla could not make a hot tag with Michelle, giving Beth Phoenix the opportunity to gain the momentum and hit her with the Glam Slam. After the match there was a clear sign of tension between the slammy winning team of LayCool.

The next segment saw Randy Orton & John Cena talking backstage before agreeing to take on anyone from the Nexus. They turn to the camera and make a direct threat to the Nexus stating if there are anymore hostilities towards another Raw talent then they will face the consequences.

In a shock to the WWE Universe, Vince McMahon returned to Raw and announced that if the winner of the Royal Rumble does not come forward before Elimination Chamber the he would forfeit his or her place at WrestleMania.

The next match saw John Morrison take on Ted DiBiase in the second qualifier for the Elimination Chamber. Joined at ringside on commentary is the returning Diesel he stated his reason as looking out for a future legend. Clearly giving a rub to one of the wrestlers in the ring, the winner of the match was John Morrison following his Starship Pain. Maryse did some good work at ringside as she almost constantly kept her eyes on Big Daddy Cool throughout the match.

Immediately after the match had ended the New Nexus leapt into action once again and ambushed Morrison as he headed up the ramp. However as he was overpowered by the group, from behind the announcers table came the help of Diesel. He took out the Nexus (minus CM Punk) and helped John back to his feet. As Morrison realises what happened, Diesel is already striding up the ramp and out of sight.

After a seemingly long commercial we are taken back to the ring where the WWE Champion stands with his protégé. He announces to the crowd that he is a fighting champion and to prove it he will take on any superstar of his choice and tonight he has chosen; Yoshi Tatsu.

In a match that lasted only 8 minutes we saw The Miz pull every dirty trick out of the bag, including the WWE belt being smashed over the head of Tatsu by Riley. Following this up, Miz hit him with the Mizard of Oz and picked up the win in dominant form.

After the match, The Miz declared himself as one of the greatest champions in history and that match proved it.

In the preshow match we saw Mason Ryan pick up the win over SmackDown’s Chris Masters and picked up the victory following yet another interference from the Nexus. Despite picking up the win, the performance of Mason Ryan was a terrible one.

Opening the show was a none title match up between Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov against The Uso’s. The current tag team champions picked up the win following a huge big boot from Kozlov to the face of Jey Uso who was trying to attack Tamina. The big boot lined him up perfectly for the Cobra via Santino Marella. After the match Santino, Kozlov and Tamina celebrated before leaving the arena, meanwhile The Uso’s seemed extremely angry at their victors.

Following on from the opening match we see a video hyping the possibility of seeing a Kane vs. Undertaker match at the Elimination chamber, followed by analysis from the commentary team.

In the second match of the night we see Goldust pick up his first loss following the Royal Rumble to the ever impressive Chavo Guerrero. The finish of the match came as Kaitlyn ran down the ramp under orders from Vickie Guerrero and smacked lips with the referee. This gave Chavo the chance to low blow Dust before landing a frog splash for the win.

In the main event of Superstars we were treated to a mix tag match between Drew McIntyre & Alicia Fox against David Hart Smith & Kelly Kelly. Drew & Alicia won by a whisker over the ever impressive DH Smith. McIntyre picked up the win by grabbing the tights of Smith in a roll up.

Two preshow matches were taped tonight and the first saw Tyler Reks destroy Trent Barretta in less than 5 minutes. He showed great dominance.

The second match of the preshow saw JTG testing the waters against Drew McIntyre, depite this he was defeated in a match that lasted only 12 minutes.

In familiar fashion, the show opens with a promo from the number one phenom in the business; The Undertaker and his music blasts down the announce system as he walks down the aisle.

The Undertaker:

Many men have tried to take on the biggest dog in the yard and many have failed to live up their claims. You see, who ever you may be, that I have taken on the best. I have beaten the best and the past writes the future…your future!

Jimmy Snuka… Triple H… Ric Flair… My own brother!

A video on the screen shows all of his past victims being beaten at WrestleMania.

Are just some of the men that have befallen the Deadman and you shall be no different! Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies…And I shall feast on thy blood! Heed this warning and show yourself before elimination chamber or you will…

REST IN PEACE.

As he finishes his promo the lights go out in the arena but this time it’s Undertaker who disappears into the darkness.

The first match of the match saw a time limit draw between the current reigning and defending Intercontinental champion; Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger. The match had a great flow to it but couldn’t be decided within the given 15 minutes. After the match Vickie Guerrero (interim GM) came out and declared that both men would gain a place in the chamber match.

After a commercial break we are taken to the interview booth with Josh Grissham and Alberto Del Rio. But before speaking he pushes Grisham out of the way and into the set walks Ricardo Rodriguez who introduces Del Rio and boos are piped into the arena to louden his heel reaction.

First of all Del Rio announces that he is going to win his match next week in under five minutes and that he is going to win the Elimination Chamber and then go on to WrestleMania. The World Heavyweight champion.

Before he is finished speaking however, Rey Mysterio walks past the camera and Del Rio takes it personally before having a war of words with the Luchadore in Spanish.

The next match of the night saw Wade Barrett lose his place in the chamber match in three weeks to Rey Mysterio. The Brit simply couldn’t handle the pace of the Mexican Luchadore, after the match however Barrett began hitting his own tag team members; The Corre who stand at ringside.

After a quick commercial we are taken to the backstage area where it looks like Barrett is holding a meeting of sorts with The Corre. He runs his mouth berating them and says if he doesn’t see improvements then he will have to reshuffle the ranks and demands that they make an impression.

The next match on SmackDown saw two members of The Corre taking on Big Show and Chris Masters. The winners of the match due to the opponents' miscommunication were Big Show and Masters following a huge right hand to the face of Justin Gabriel as he was locked in the Masters Lock.

After the match the bad news for The Corre wasn't over as the leader walks on to the entrance way and begins to shake his head whilst pointing at Justin Gabriel.

An elimination chamber promo plays on screen and the four confirmed superstars in the match are featured within it, including; Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger and World Heavyweight champion; Edge.

The main event of SmackDown went on for little over a quarter of an hour and it ended when an under orders Kaitlyn sprinted down to ringside for the second time in two shows and smacked the lips on a referee. However Edge had the low blow from Chavo well scouted but unfortunately not the ware withal to counter the sleeper hold from Ziggler who picked up the win.

**Other notes**

Despite botching in the early minutes of the match, Kelly Kellys performance rounded out to a great showing as she managed to play the ‘damsel in distress’ well. The performance of Chavo was consistent and good.

For the second week in a row, Monday Night belongs to the Deadman and he walks onto the screen but this time, not in the arena. The crowd reaction is pumped into the arena as the Deadman walks through the halls of a mental institute as the sound of screams bellow along the dark halls. The camera follows him all the way down the corridor until he stopped at a door which reads: “Suzanna Kane” (kayfabe mother of Kane.) He stares through the barred window in the door and he begins to smile as she screams louder. As a song starts to play, the screen turns black and the screams stop as The Undertaker himself laughs. But before long the camera fades to black and cuts to commercial.

As we return from the commercial we go instantly to the backstage area where the cameraman is shooting William Regal just before he walks into the arena. Before he goes out into the arena and the shot of fans he is tapped on the shoulder by Daniel Bryan who tells him good luck. But as he turns to walks out he looks over his shoulder and says he doesn’t need it, he’ll see Bryan in the chamber.

In the first match of the night we saw William Regal become a true wildcard who outlasted the Worlds Strongest Man and the ever deadly; Cobra from Santino Marella. He picked up the victory in 17 minutes when he eliminated Alex Riley over the top rope.

Following the win by William Regal we are taken through the curtain as Daniel Bryan waits to congratulate his former mentor. But as he waits he is attacked from behind by CM Punk and his Nexus lackeys who work him over before scattering as Regal sprints up the ramp.

Trying to shake off the loss from last week over the two of the best divas on the roster (Phoenix & Natalya), LayCool competed against Eve Torres and Gail Kim. However their fortunes continue to fall as they lose the match in under 6 minutes following a botched leg drop from Michelle who was pinned.

After the match Layla and Michelle seemed to be on the same page despite the loss and hugged it out before leaving the ring.

After another commercial we are taken to a locker room, where we see John Morrison who is talking to one of the trainers. He tells of having pains in his back following an attack from Nexus as he tells of the events, Diesel walks into the room which is met with Morrison saying thank you for the save last week. As he asks why, Diesel smirks and walks out of the room.

In a match of main event quality, John Cena and Randy Orton destroyed the Nexus however still managed to lose the match. With interference from Daniel Bryan trying to get one over CM Punk but only costs Cena and Orton the match. But in the end Orton and Cena overpower the Nexus and after the match the two men shake hands. But as they do Randy Orton doesn’t release it and stares at the WrestleMania sign hanging above the ring. The fans go wild at the prospect but neither one make any indication of a match.

For the first and last time on this episode of Raw we see The Miz who is issuing an open challenge to anyone who hasn’t a place in the Elimination Chamber to a match at the Pay-Per-View. But claims that they have to go through a rigorous test to prove themselves and says they must accept before the end of next weeks show.

In the second qualification match of the night we saw the Celtic Warrior; Sheamus defeat R-Truth who put in a strong showing. The finish of the match came as he planted him with his patented High Cross into a top turnbuckle with the padding removed whilst the referee is out cold.

Superstars opened this week with a match between Goldust and Mike McGillicutty and on commentary was Chavo Guerrero. The end of the match came as Dust heard Chavo running his mouth about his gimmick and him not living up to his family legacy. But as Goldust took exception to this he chased Guerrero from ringside only to be counted out by the referee which gave Mike the win.

After the previous match and a quick commercial we are taken to the back where in the interview set stands Goldust who issues a challenge to Chavo but it goes unanswered.

In the second match of the evening we saw the divas in action as it was The Bella Twins who defeated the odd pairing of Tamina and Rosa Mendes. The match was over in mere minutes as the bookers planned to pull the match but wanted to give them a chance to improve their on screen craft.

Another commercial comes to an end and the main event of Superstars saw Rey Mysterio lose in a shocking defeat to the rookie Alex Riley. The finish of the match came as The Miz anhilated him with the WWE Title belt which allowed A-Ri to distract the referee avoiding the disqualification. However after the match the champion had some words to say.

following on from Alex Rileys shock victory, The Miz took to the microphone and demanded respect because he is the WWE Champion. With the fans continuing to disrespect him, he dropped him twice with the Skull-Crushing Finale; the second time onto the briefcase. He announces to the crowd that he is the WWE Champion and he will prove that he is best up until WrestleMania when he guarantees history.
