The Undertaker:

For almost two weeks, two weeks my own brother has been missing and why? Is it so he can begin the minds games like seven years ago? He buried me along with his demons until I was reborn a stronger and bigger man than anyone. I am the greatest being to have ever graced this canvas, living…or dead! To whoever it is that is trying to get under the skin of the Deadman, stop before you feel the wrath of The Undertaker!

As he finishes talking he kneels on one knee and performs his signature taunt before a crash of lightening strikes the titantron and a clock illuminates the arena. It counts down the seconds until the Elimination Chamber.

The Undertaker:

Brother!... Where art thou!?

The lights go out in the arena.

In the opening match of the night we saw Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler defeat the unfortunate pairing of JTG and Chris Masters. They won through an interfering Vickie Guerrero who banned both JTG and his tag partner from using their finishing move or they’d get disqualified. The finish saw Masters lock Dolph in his Lock and thus getting disqualified.

Next up on Smackdown we saw The Miz; uncharacteristically make an appearance on the blue brand. He recapped what happened to Rey Mysterio and declared to the locker room that it will keep happening until he has a suitable challenger to his title.

Despite the lack of ability among the three, the divas segment of the show went down well and furthered the tension between Kelly Kelly, Vickie Guerrero and Kaitlyn. Michelle McCool picked up the win and put in the best performance of the three, she was accompanied to ringside by Layla who did well.

The next segment was initially intended to be a match between Edge and David Hart Smith in a fluff match. However as Smith was entering the match, from the crowd he was jumped Justin Gabriel who took him out with a steel chair; taking his place in the match. The referee asked Edge if his was happy to take part and he obliged.

In the unscheduled match, the World Heavyweight champion picked up the victory in a hard fought battle. It took almost 14 minutes. The finish came as Gabriel went up top for the 450 Splash but missed it and allowed Edge to Spear him for the win. After the match, despite getting a great reaction from the crowd; Justin is met at the top of the ramp by Wade Barret.

After the match, Wade put his hand on Gabriel’s shoulder as he tries to walk past him, before shouting down the microphone; telling him that he was done. But Justin’s head sharply looks at him and rebuttals by demanding that Barret needs to prove he is good enough to lead The Corre. To which Barret agrees and demands a match, that instant.

In a shock move, the acceptor of the demand made by Barret turned out to be none other than the Big Show. The world’s largest athlete took up the challenge and after a long 17 minutes, there was no more TV time left for Barret to end the match and prove his worth as the Corre’s leader.

The final segment of the night came a promo began playing on the screen, highlighting the longstanding history and most recent happenings between Kane and The Undertaker. But this time with the song; Ain’t No Grave by Johnny Cash blasting around the arena and one solemn clock being projected into the ring and every time a bell tolls the clock flashes to scorpion.

Finally had a chance to sit down and read this diary all the way through so far. I'm loving it! It's a very good, intelligent read, but an easy read on the eyes at the same time. You manage to give a great picture in the mind of what is going on but without having to write tons and tons.

Looking forward as we move closer to Mania, but this is defo a fav of mine on the boards at the moment. Keep it up, i'll be reading.

Mason Ryan starts Raw this week in the preshow match against R-Truth, he loses despite his size but is improving in skills and may be ready for a promotion to the main show and a return to the Nexus in due course.

Opening tonight’s Raw was the ever egotistical; Miz who took to the microphone, alongside his protégé Riley. He starts to run his mouth about the locker room wanting to finally find a suitable number one contender. But there was only one man that responded and his name…Evan Bourne. Bourne returns to Raw and sprints down to ringside to start the match against Alex Riley.

With a match that had some good highspots and solid performances between the two of them, Bourne won the match. Both men put on a solid show for the fans and despite losing the match; Riley could have won and put in a WWE Championship quality match. Through winning however, Bourne earns his number one contender status at Elimination Chamber.

Following the match however The Miz sprinted back into the ring with his title belt and briefcase in hand, only to strike Bourne across the face with his case. But as he lined him up for the Skull Crushing Finale, Bourne manages to break free and pushes Miz into Riley and the fall in a heap on the outside. This gives Bourne a chance to jump to the top rope and perform a fantastic looking Shooting Star to the outside.

Picking the best of both worlds this week helped to pick up another victory for an opposing LayCool team. The finish of this match came as Michelle had control over Gail Kim who reversed the momentum following a ducked clothesline into a high angle dropkick. As Michelle lands on the mat Kim makes the tag to Tamina who enters the ring and floors an intruding Layla with the Cobra before both women ascend the top rope and splashing the two for the win.

In a fluff match, Santino and Kozlov destroyed the opposing team of Jimmy and Jey Uso. After the match they announce a challenge for Elimination Chamber but it is answered with Kozlov shouting gibberish in Russian.

Before a commercial break the fans see the familiar giant clock appear on the screen which counts down to Ain’t No Grave, this time the Raw gets treated to a recap of The Undertakers debut match at Survivor Series 1990. Every minute or so a scorpion and Kane’s face would appear on screen in flashing sequence.

The next match on the packed Raw saw John Cena pick up a well deserved victory over a heel Tyson Kidd in an Elimination chamber qualifying match. During the match we had Randy Orton perform perfectly on commentary and hinted at a match between himself and John Cena.

Next on the screen appears a hype video showing the participants of the Elimination chamber so far, with only one place left who will fill the final position in the chamber? They are told to tune in next week.

After yet another commercial we are taken straight back into a match between; the already qualified superstars of the chamber; Morrison, Bryan against Sheamus and Regal. The finish of the match seemed to surprise the fans as William Regal picked up the win after locking Morrison into his Regal lock.

The last segment of the show came as Regal refused to release the hold on Morrison until a wave of black and yellow fills the ramp. The Nexus storm the ring and in familiar fashion to the stables debut, they plow anything and everything in their path…however as they do so one man steps over the retaining wall. With a chair in hand Diesel steps onto the apron and instantly the heads of the Nexus turn and stare at the big man. Diesel just stares them down, giving Bryan and Morrison the opportunity to get out of the ring and as soon as they do Diesel backs off of the apron and turns his back on the stable, before walking away from the action.

Thanks for the feedback Rhudipoo, the shows are quite short in description, simply so I can stop myself from getting too stagnant and end up quitting. But no so short that I'm just booking crap for the sake of getting people over like I do in no diary games lol.

If anyone was wondering, I'm keeping tabs on the predictions and the person with the best prediction ratio will pick the WM main event stipulation. So hopefully they keep predicting . Also Superstars & possibly SmackDown will be up tonight before going back to work tomorrow.

The opening of Superstars this week recapped the impactful return of new number one contender; Evan Bourne from last weeks Monday Night Raw.

The first match of Superstars saw Chavo Guerrero destroy Trent Barretta in a match that went for 13:56. The length of the match is due to Chavo toying with Barretta following the example set by Kaitlyn who stood at ringside constantly distracting Trent. Throughout the match however, Chavo was consistently watching the Titantron and shouting that he was too do the same to Goldust.

After a seemingly long commercial, we watch the happenings of Smackdown in regards to the mysterious Scorpion clock promo’s and the hype by The Undertaker.

Following on from a successful win over Cena and Randy Orton, the Nexus were in action against the Unified Tag Team champions and lost the match. The two members of the Nexus were distracted by Daniel Bryan who was sat at ringside for the entirety of their match.

For the second time tonight, a clock appears in the middle of the ring, however this time it is not a recap from last week. The clock continues to countdown to the Elimination Chamber.

After another commercial we are taken to the main event of the night where we saw Tyler Reks defeat, with great style and display of power; The Great Khali. He picked up the win following a failed attack from Heath Slater who was taken down by Reks who planted him with his High Tide finishing move.

After the match, Wade Barrett walked out onto the entrance ramp and stood with a huge grin on his face as well as shaking his head with great distain.

This weeks SmackDown opens with Wade Barrett who announces that every member of the Corre has to earn their place in the stable. Then declares that first it’s Justin Gabriel’s chance of redemption and states that the winner of the upcoming three way match will earn the vacant spot.

The first match of the night is the previously made match between Justin Gabriel, Tyler Reks and JTG. The finish of the match saw Wade Barrett who was sitting at the commentary table alongside Booker T and Matt Striker sprint into the ring and destroy Justin Gabriel with his patented Wasteland finishing move. This allowed for Tyler Reks to pick up the win and his place in the Corre.

After a long commercial break we are taken to the ring where we see the return of Kane who demands a match with The Undertaker before the Elimination Chamber. But his challenge goes unanswered and Kane states he has his scars as the fuel to wreak havoc on the ravaged body of the Undertaker.

The next match of the night is between Beth Phoenix and Layla, Beth picks up the win over the Brit and in good form. After the match Michelle attacked Beth wanting some retribution over a win a few weeks ago. But as she continued to hit Phoenix, Layla pulled her off and told her to stop.

Prior to an elimination chamber qualifier, we are shown a video of the superstars that are already granted a place in the Elimination Chamber match; Edge, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio & Jack Swagger.

The elimination qualifying match continues after a commercial between; Del Rio and Trent Barretta. The match didn’t go on for long as Del Rio dominated from the outset and picked up the win following a tap out from the rookie.

Next up was the return of the clock counting down to the elimination chamber, but this time a ghostly looking face flashes on the screen before fading to a stock footage of flames.

The main event of the night saw Wade Barrett battle against the Big Show in a bid to regain his pride after wrestling to a time limit draw last week. In a match that lasted 17 minutes and change drew in the attention of the crowd who were truly rooted behind the Big Show who was annihilated by the newly inducted Tyler Reks. This gave Barrett a huge win over the largest athlete in the world.

In the first singles match against each other in the WWE, Randy Orton took on Mike McGillicutty in the final Elimination Chamber final match. Randy Orton picked up a clean victory over the fellow second generation superstar. During the match John Cena put on a stunning show on commentary putting over the elimination chamber PPV and the competitors in the Raw chamber match but not Randy Orton.

In the first promo of the night, Santino Marella & Kozlov were challenged to an all or nothing match at the next PPV. The tag team titles and Tamina’s managerial contract against the careers of The Uso’s, to which was accepted by Santino who jovially said they would feel the wrath of the cobra. But as he finished accepting it, Kozlov pushed him to one side and sternly barked “I must break you!”

Next up was a match between Natalya and Alicia Fox to which ended in a none contest through an interference from LayCool who seemed to be on the same page. However after the match, Beth Phoenix sprinted into the ring and cleared the ring of all the women except for Natalya.

In his return to the ring, Diesel put in one of the performances of his career with the crowdly truly behind the big man. He did however lose to John Morrison after Morrison ducked the high knee in the corner when both men were stacked in it which caused Diesel to be caught and drove into the mat with the bulldog from Punk. However as Punk got back to his feet, Morrison planted him with a springboarding kick to the face for the win.

For the second time this month after the match the Nexus tried to attack Morrison following his match but is saved by Diesel who intercepted the attackers. This gave Morrison the chance to escape over the guard rail whilst Diesel was beaten into the canvas.

In a tag team match with four of the greatest talents in the WWE right now, the fans were treated to a special inter branded attraction match. The winners of the match were the veterans of the ring; Del Rio and Regal following the return of the Regal Bomb to Mysterio followed up by the cross arm bar for the win. In a similar fashion as the previous segment, for the second this month we saw a shake of hands and respect from Bryan to Regal but as they shake hands Regal said to the him that he’ll see him in the chamber.

In a short and snappy segment, the arrogant WWE Champion and friend were in his own personal green room. The Miz tells the camera and Alex Riley that this is how a true champion runs his ship and that one day Riley could have all this but not before The Miz retires. He also directs his attention to Evan Bourne who pulled off the upset victory over Riley last week earning a title match. He demands that Bourne declines his shot otherwise he will have to be destroyed by the most charismatic champion in history.

In the main event of the night, The Miz and Alex Riley picked up the win over a valiant effort from Evan Bourne in a handicap match. The finish of the match saw Miz push Riley into the path of a Diving double knee drop. This allowed Miz to roll Bourne up into a school boy whilst grabbing his tights for extra leverage.

After a commercial we saw the clock counting down in similar fashion as last week before the flames rise up the screen and a flash of the scorpion before fading to black.

Next up on the card was a tag team match between the new member of the core; Tyler Reks and Ezekiel Jackson against David Hart Smith and R-Truth. The winners of the match were The Corre who dominated over Truth from the outset, Smith however seemed to be channelling Davey Boy in a lot of his moves.

After the match we saw Wade Barrett come out from the back and shake hands with the winners before demanding they attack the losers.

Before he takes on Chavo Guerrero in the main event of Superstars the fans watched a video package hyping the title match on Sunday between The Miz and Evan Bourne.

The main event saw Kaitlyn further her loyalty to the Mexican Warrior when she kept tripping the leg of Bourne. But he managed to overcome this and took out Chavo with a spectacular enziguri into a head scissors takedown. Bourne followed this up when he landed a smooth looking 450 splash.

After the match we had Goldust come into the ring and demand a match against Chavo but as he did he was slapped by Kaitlyn allowing for Chavo to swerve the question once again.

In one of the more memorable openings of SmackDown in recent months we are taken to a darkened graveyard where the Deadman himself wanders aimlessly in the night. With a humming gong in the distance, the rain begins to fall with each drop growing louder in the night he walks further away from the camera but as he does the screen flickers and The Undertaker jumps closer to the camera.

The Undertaker: For 14 years my life has been full of the pain and agony from my childhood. Since the return of my brother Kane I have been reminded of the pain I inflicted on my own family as they burned to the ground along with the retirement home. For too long I have been walking around this graveyard hunting down my own demons and every one has fallen victim to the Deadman…all eighteen of them have been buried alongside each other in these shallow graves.

The Undertaker begins to step past each gravestone with the name of his opponents from WrestleManias past. But the only stone missing was Kane’s but as he moves past the grave of Shawn Michaels he stops and stares off the camera shot. A flash of lighting is seen in the distance but the sound is crisp and clear over the rainfall. The Undertaker points off the camera where he is staring blankly and the camera follows the arm to a freshly dug grave which is missing a headstone.

The Undertaker: You see Kane; this grave is left for creature that is big enough to step in my yard at WrestleMania. This grave is waiting for its next victim…my next victim!

The camera fades to black and we are taken to the first match of the night.

In a match that had two relatively green Divas involved there was a solid psychology enforced by their male counterparts who put on star performances. However Chavo managed to pick up the win over the son of Dusty Rhodes; Goldust following a cat fight that was split up by Dustin which had him distracted allowing for Chavo to roll him up into a strong school boy for a clean victory.

After the match, Chavo accepted the challenge set by Goldust on Superstars for a match at Elimination Chamber.

Next up on the show was the second eerie promo of SmackDown but this time it was Kane. He stood in the ring with a burning red spotlight on him as he announced to The Undertaker that he has been to the darkest depths of hell. Also that he is going to prove to him that he is not behind the clocks and fire promos of late. But as he finishes his speech, he begins slapping his head as he looks to be losing his mind seeing the similar clock from previous weeks illuminate the screen.

Next up on Smackdown is the second divas portion of the night as we saw Beth Phoenix draw with Natalya over Kelly Kelly. The finish of the night came as both women cleared the ring of Kelly but as they battled inside, the referee counted her out and declared the winners as Beth and Natalya.

After the match the two winners seemed very to be very tense when finding out it would not be a one on one match for the second straight PPV. Backstage we also saw Layla and Michelle looking very confident and seemingly on the same page unlike previous weeks.

The next match of the night saw Tyler Reks against The Big Show and the push out of obscurity for Reks was halted by Show who picked up the win. However after the match he was attacked by a revitalised Corre but Show was alone as he battled back; the former member; Justin Gabriel ran from out the crowd and cleared house by leaping from the top rope with a 450 to all four attackers (Reks, Barrett, Jackson & Slater) in the ring.

In a long slow built match in which the World Heavyweight champion put on the performance of the night we saw Dolph Ziggler surprisingly pick up the win. The finish of the match came as the heels picked apart the faces until the only one left was the weakest of the three; Kofi Kingston and Dolph Went for the pin as Del Rio had him locked in the Arm bar. But before he could tap out in pain, the referee counted the three count.

After the match Kofi Kingston looked to be legitimately injured, more news should be revealed in the coming days.

The last segment of the night came as the music of the Undertaker began and the lights go dark and from the back walks a man in all black, with a black coat on. But he doesn’t walk down to the ring, instead he turns his back on the crowd and leaves the arena, as he does the clock begins counting down.

Following the opening for the Elimination Chamber, the pyrotechnics blast around the arena and the fans went manic in anticipation for the event. Following on from the pyro’s we saw the return of the former General Manager of SmackDown!: Teddy Long. He announces to the crowd that due to an injury sustained at the hands of Alberto Del Rio’s Arm bar, Kofi Kingston cannot partake in the Elimination Chamber match. But his replacement is to be announced later in the show.

Before long the opening match of the evening begins between CM Punk and Diesel.

Throughout the match we had the Nexus arrive at ringside, one member at a time and the constant distraction was putting Diesel off of his game. That allowed Punk to finish the match when Diesel was tripped by Husky Harris who seemed to channel Dusty Rhodes in his mannerisms tonight. The trip from Harris allowed Punk to drop his opponent with a headlock and instantly modified it to the anaconda vice. But as Diesel used his strength to break out of it but his lack of speed caused him to be dropped by Punk who leaped from the top rope with a cross body. He went for the pin and won the match in a surprising victory over the veteran.

The second match of the Elimination Chamber event saw The Usos lose to Kozlov & Marella. Throughout the match we had Santino attempting the Cobra on both Usos to the admiration of the fans who laughed at every failed attempt. But eventually he managed to pull it out of the bag once Kozlov did all of the heavy work on the challengers and they picked up the all important W.

Continuing the storyline between the two, Chavo Guerrero picked up the victory over Goldust once he gained the advantage of it being a no disqualification match. Throughout the match we had interferences from the Guerrero clan; Vickie and Chavo Snr. But despite the interferences from his own family, it wasn’t until the returning Cody Rhodes jumped Goldust as he was battling in the crowd. This was enough to give Chavo the win who was accompanied at ringside by Kaitlyn.

Next up on the packed card was the Divas Title match between Layla, Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya Neidhart. The winner of the match was Michelle McCool when she pinned her own team mate following a Glam Slam from Beth. But after the match was when the real action happened as Beth confronted Natalya and they began to exchange blows until Layla tries to intervene but as she does Michelle begins to cat fight with her. This goes on for several minutes when they are al broken up by security.

Despite the lack of psychology between the pair, the WWE Championship match didn’t disappoint as The Miz put in a star performance against a high flying challenger. To put an end to the short storyline The Miz finished off Bourne following his attempt at the Shooting Star Press which was transitioned into clutching DDT which he named the modified Mizard of Oz. He won in 16:34 minutes. After the match, The Miz berated every superstar in the Raw Elimination Chamber match and told Kane and the Undertaker that they better not go after the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

WWE RAW Elimination Chamber Match

Despite having a strong face side and weaker heel side, this match saw one of the best sequences of moves in a long time. The exchange took place between mentor and student; William Regal and Daniel Bryan. This stole the show as far as this match went, however throughout the match we saw John Morrison performing his parkour manoeuvres up and down the chamber walls like Spiderman. This gave him a distinct advantage as he managed to avoid the action for most of the match. The final move came as he hung from the tippy top of the cage he released his grip and land on three men and a well place set of tables (which were brought into the ring by The Miz who brought them in as an added incentive to the superstars). The remaining three men were all covered by the destroyed carcass of Morrison and he was named the victor.

After the match however The Miz wanted to make an impact on the winner of the Chamber match but as he was about to enter the structure Diesel appeared from under the grate and stood proud in front of the door shaking his head.

WWE Winner of the Royal Rumble

In this match we saw two of the best big men in WWE today go at it for about 12:30 minutes until the lights went to a maroon red and the clock began to count down. But it still had another 9 minutes to count down and it was clear that the unknown star would not interfere in the match. But that interruption gave The Undertaker the chance to scoop up the body of Kane and drive his head into the canvas with the Tombstone. The Undertaker picked up the win and as the clock continued to countdown The Undertaker made his slit throat taunt at it with a sickening grin on his face.

Once all members of this match have entered there is an obvious missing member of the match as the final chamber remains empty. But as the fans sit in wonderment

The final countdown for the arrival of the real winner of the Royal Rumble begins for the final time. But as the clock counts down the lights dim in the arena and the clock ends slowly in unison with the fans chants…

The clock transitions into a scorpion for the final time and the lights turn to a dark maroon hue and music blasts through the arena…

As the music plays; pyrotechnics erupt from the stage and then from the top of the elimination chamber. With a clear grandeur to the most anticipated debut in recent years the mystery superstar finally reveals himself as the former WCW World Heavyweight champion; Sting!

The 51 year old Stinger marches down to the ring dressed in a maroon robe and his patented white face paint shines brightly as he is illuminated by the flashes of cameras around the sold out arena. Finally one of the greatest talents in the history of professional wrestling has arrived in the WWE is bellowed down the microphone by Matt Striker who is marking out. Sting stands on the steps outside of the Elimination Chamber and turns to look out at the crowd and smiles. He enters the chamber with the door bolted behind him and he ascends each turnbuckle one after another as he stares at each man in the ring. But before he enters his chamber he walks past Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler who are waiting to start the match and shakes hand with Mysterio before laughing in the face of Ziggler. After 10 minutes since being seen on the entrance ramp, Sting is sealed in his pod…but for how long?

Throughout the early goings of the match, Mysterio and Dolph took it to each other and in a big way. With Mysterio performing big spot after big spot for a few minutes but the momentum turned as Dolph reversed a springboarding splash into a standing dropkick to the chest of the Mexican Luchadore. As the tide turned however, the first star released from their pod is the newest Mexican arrival to WWE; Alberto Del Rio and instantly the two heels dominated the face for the whole 5 minutes until the second pod opened.

As the second pod opened the odds didn’t look good for Rey as the third and final heel of the match came out into the ring and stuck it to Mysterio. Jack Swagger, Del Rio and Ziggler worked over the battered and bruised body of Rey until finally the biggest little man in wrestling broke free when Swagger tried to slingshot him into the chamber wall. However Mysterio was too smart and clutch the chains and began his ascent to the top before landing a moonsault backwards onto the three men below.

The landing of the moonsault was in unison with the counter and the spotlights flash between the two remaining pods. Sting and Edge remain sealed inside them and that’s where Sting would remain for yet another 5 minutes as Edge springs into action.

From the outset the four men down on the ground around the ring were dragged to the feet and thrown into the ring by the Champion who looked deadly. Even Mysterio wasn’t free from Edge who saw red as soon as his pod opened he drove the three heels down with a spear for each of them. With the momentum of the champion firmly in his possession, Edge clambered to the top rope in front of Sting taunting him. He shouts the title is his and will stare there. The World Heavyweight champion drops down from the corner and drives his shoulder into the mid section of Mysterio and goes for the pin.

Mysterio’s eliminated! But instantly as if he was feeding off of the crowd reaction, Edge grabs the head of Dolph and drives into the mat with the Edgecution!

Ziggler’s eliminated! This leaves just Del Rio, Edge, Swagger and the hotly anticipated Sting. But as the clock counts down it stops and morphs into a scorpion and in the pod remains Sting with a grin on his face from ear to ear. Meanwhile in the ring the action continues for several minutes until finally there remains three men in the match; Edge, Del Rio and Sting.

Edge and Del Rio stumble around for a few seconds and they stare at each other before the lights dim to a red hue and clock counts down to 0. Sting’s here! He enters the ring and from the outset he performs all of his signature moves to the two men, the dominance from Sting is overpowering and the crowd go insane at the debut match of the Stinger. He drops Del Rio with the Scorpion Death Drop and he’s eliminated, but this gave Edge the opportunity to battle back and the match continued for several minutes.

Finally the last elimination came as Edge tried to land the spear on Sting but he sidestepped it and drove him into the turnbuckle. As he stumble out of the corner, he slumped over Sting using the back of his tights to keep him upright. But only for a second; until Sting turns him and drops him with a devastating Scorpion Death Drop!

In his debut match Sting wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and defeats five of the top stars on SmackDown! Sting celebrates with the fans for several minutes and walks out of the Elimination Chamber PPV as the best of the best on SmackDown!

On the first Raw of four until WrestleMania, the WWE is going to see one of the biggest main events in the Shows history as WWE Champion is set to take on World Heavyweight Champion in the main event.

In the semi main event we will be seing the first WrestleMania rewind on the road to WrestleMania between the Big Show & John Cena from WM XX. Who will walk out the victor this time?

Also on the show will be the first time in hearing the motives behind the defense of John Morrison from Diesel in recent weeks. In the opening segment of Raw we saw the new number one contender for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania; John Morrison. He walks down to the ring with an air of confidence exuding from him and as he enters the ring he is handed a microphone and the crowd begin to chant “Morrison!” With a huge smile on his face as the fans continue to chant, John begins to talk into the microphone.

John Morrison: Springsteen, McCartney, Dylan, Clapton…are all legends in their own right and since I was 7 years old in Los Angeles I knew that I would become a legend. And last night, that was just another step in the road to superstardom, I earned the right. The honour. The privilege, to compete on the greatest stage in sport entertainment but there’s always one more man; one more being that you need to beat, to be the best that you can be.

The fans hush and start listening intently to the new number one contender as he continues to speak he is handed a chair to which he takes a seat in the centre of the ring.

John Morrison: You McCartney, Dylan and Clapton, never met the heights of the true legend of Rock and Roll. You all know who I’m talking about, the man who you need to succeed to smash through the glass ceiling into the upper echelon! In order to become the best that I can be, I need to beat the best that there is and that man is the WWE Champion and at WrestleMania that is what I intend to do! Miz, you are next in line to be defeating by the best looking, the most charismatic and the best sports entertainer this business has today!

As Morrison ends his speech to the fans, a familiar tune blares down the PA system, but it is not the WWE champion it is:

As Diesel slowly strides to the ring, the face of Morrison looks on in bewilderment as it was his time to shine. He enters the ring and asks Morrison to hand the microphone over and he obliges.

Diesel: John, you’re right! You are on your way to a becoming a legend, you are about to break through to that elite level. But until about month ago, you couldn’t do it, you didn’t have the talent, the drive. Nor did you have the protection, you see I came back at the Royal Rumble for one reason. To help you on your way to becoming the best wrestler this company has seen since the retirement of the Heart Break Kid…Shawn Michaels!

The fans erupt into applause when HBK’s name is mentioned and they continue to listen intently despite the chants continuing.

Diesel: John the comparisons are apparent; Shawn ditched a loser tag team partner, you’ve done that. Twice. You’ve got the star quality that Shawn has. You have the potential to be one of the greats and that’s why I’ve been stopping the Nexus attacking you and the Miz last night. So John, I’m offering my services as a bodyguard until the night after WrestleMania. Do you accept my offer?

John Morrison: If I accept your offer, what do you want in return for your safeguarding of my well being?

Diesel: To be next in line for the WWE Championship should you win at WrestleMania.

John paces back and fourth in the ring before picking the chair up and planting it on the floor at the feet of Diesel. He steps on it so they are almost face to face…

John Morrison: It’s nice doing business with you big guy…

Morrison extends his hand to shake but as he does Diesel smiles and responds.

Diesel: That’s Big Daddy Cool!...

Diesel accepts the handshake from Morrison and the stare that the WrestleMania sign before raising there hand and pointing to it with an intense smile on their faces.

The opening match of the night is a huge contest between the United States Champion and the Intercontinental Champion. The finish of the match came as Daniel Bryan almost beheaded Kofi with a clothesline and then finished the match with his patented Cattle Mutilation hold which impressed the crowd and the higher ups.

After the match we see William Regal appear on the screen he congratulates Bryan on the win and for a stellar performance and that he will see him next week on Raw. But before he leaves the big screen Regal runs his mouth on why he isn’t live and that he is sitting in England saying it is ten times the country than the USA. Bryan acknowledges the praise from his former mentor before walking up the ramp and out of sight.

Moving on swiftly from a commercial break we are taken straight into the women’s match which is already under way.

Natalya picked up the win but afterwards the team of LayCool tried stirring the pot between Natalya and Beth Phoenix after last nights loss. But soon their confidence is gone when they are chased into the ring by Phoenix and they are beaten down by Beth and Natalya who seem to be united. But it didn’t last for long as the tension seemed to rise when they backed into each other once again after clearing the ring of LayCool.

Next up on the show is the hotly anticipated match between Punk & Husky Harris against Morrison & Diesel. Throughout the match we had Morrison going toe to toe with Punk until Punk scrambled out of the ring to allow Harris into the action. But this was matched as Diesel entered the ring and took Husky off of his feet almost every time. The match ended once Punk orders the Nexus into the ring only for them to be thrown over the top rope, one by one by the big man; Diesel. The man who picked up the victory was Morrison who pinned Harris in a big way following the Star ship Pain.

Moving swiftly on from the previous match we are treated to a promo from the Irish Curse himself; Sheamus. He announces to the crowd that he may be on a losing streak and not have a match at WrestleMania, yet. So he announces that if the King of the Ring and King of the WWE doesn’t get a match at WrestleMania then he’ll make his own by taking on someone of his choosing!

In the semi main event of the match the fans see a WrestleMania rewind match between John Cena and Big Show. Cena picked up the win and with Randy Orton on commentary, the entertainment was endless as he goes on a tirade saying how he beat the Big Show, John Cena & Triple H in one night to become the WWE Champion and asks Cole what Cena had done? Cole being Cole lists all of Cena’s pitfalls as in losing the WWE title 7 times and listing all the titles he’s lost and finally ending by mentioning the Marine.

After yet another commercial we see Evan Bourne reading a WWE Magazine as he walks down the corridor. But as he turns the corner he is anhilated by Sheamus who drives him through a makeup table. But as Sheamus sees the cameraman he turns and forces him to the ground before walking off.

After a long wait we are finally at the main event of Raw and we see The Miz take on and draw with Sting. After a magnificent match the time limit finally caught up with the two and despite being in the later stages of his career Sting put in a great match with the young and brash WWE Champion.

After the match however the ego of The Miz comes into play but he couldn’t get one over on the World Heavyweight Champion as he was just too smart. Instead of getting hit over the head with the briefcase Sting ducks and hits Riley with his Scorpion Death Drop and taunts to the Miz as the WWE Champion hot foots it out of the ring. The show closes for the second night in a row with Sting taunting with the crowd with his title belt in hand.

The finish of the match came as Vladimir was planted with the Rekkoning Day from Reks as Jackson destroyed Santino on the outside with a little help from Wade Barret.

Following the recap of Raw we saw Kaitlyn take on the former Divas Champion; Eve and she surprisingly picked up the win. The finish of the match came as Kaitlyn used an inherited move from Chavo; the Frog Splash (sloppy as it was) which earned her the win.

On the first SmackDown! since the Elimination Chamber the opening match of the night is a match to earn instant access into the Corre. In a shock to the fans and Wade alike, Tyson Kidd; the smallest superstar in the match picked up the win over former member; Heath Slater with the Sharpshooter.

After the match, Wade Barrett asks Tyson if he wants to be in the Corre and he accepts the invitation. All four members of the stable clamber to the top turnbuckles around the ring and raise their hands in a show of unity and strength in numbers.

Next on the show is a Divas tag team match and what should have been clean sailing from start to finish for the Divas champion, she was on the losing side. The finish of the match saw Layla try and take control of the match by blind tagging herself into the ring, only to be knocked out by her Happy Ending finishing move.

After the match we had Michelle finally snapping, reaching breaking point; the Divas Champion started pushing her former partner around. She continued to do so for several minutes, until Layla had enough and grabbed a cooler of water and tipped it over her head. The usually confident McCool suddenly crawls into her shell and cannot get out of the limelight any quicker.

In the next match we saw the rematch for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships but this time, it was Wade Barrett and Tyler Reks who defend the belts (under the free birds rule.) The winners of the match were the Corre who made light work of their challenges but it was only through the help from the rest of the stable, including newest member; Tyson Kidd.

Once the match ended we saw Wade Barrett lead his troops into an attack on Kozlov and Marella, they followed through with the attack and it continued until the cavalry arrived. From the back walked the Big Show as his music blasts throughout the arena and he punches each man as they run to him until he gets into the ring and comes face to face with Barrett. They stare at each other for several minutes and Big Shows eyes continue to look up at the WrestleMania sign, but as Barrett starts to turn his head the giant grabs his throat and slams him down to the canvas.

The next match was a throwback to the 1990’s when the cruiserweights would do the hard work and the heavyweights would take the credit. But this match stole show (so far) as Chavo picked up a dirty victory over Rey Mysterio by grabbing his tights and driving him into the ground as he leapt through the air for the 619.

The next segment saw Edge in his classic rated R superstar clothes and he announces that this years WrestleMania will see the return of Money In the Bank and he will win and go on to become the 8 time World Heavyweight Champion.

In the main event, we saw Sting extend his momentum with yet another victory over a legend of the WWE; Kane. The finish of the match came as Kane tried to hit him with the Tombstone until Sting managed to push his legs back far enough to pus Kane back and nailed him with his own tombstone.

After the match we had Sting taunting in similar fashion to the Undertaker until the lights go to black and three girls appear on the screen. Ominous by his absence on Raw and now Smackdown! the girls say “he’s here” in a ghostly voice (almost the same setup to his return as the American Badass). The lights rise and there is no one at ringside, no announcers, commentators, just Kane layed out in the ring and on his chest is etched 19 – 0.

Just two weeks removed from WrestleMania, WWE Raw opens with the United States Championship on the line. Not surprisingly the Champion retains over former NXT rookie; McGillicutty following the Cattle Mutilation. The match was made better by the commentary of William Regal who was ranting and raving about America being second to England.

Immediately after the match has ended, William Regal leaves his position on the commentary table and enters the ring with microphone in hand. Regal gets on the microphone and continues to run his mouth about the US and challenges Bryan to a match at WrestleMania and if he loses he will leave America, forever.

In a terrible match, Natalya picked up the win and in a big way when she forced Maryse to tap out to the Sharpshooter but afterwards was when the real story took hold. Beth Phoenix walked down to the ring and shook hands with Natalya before challenging her to a match at WrestleMania, a lumber Jill match to decide who is the greatest in ring Diva of the decade. Natalya accepted and the two walk out with a clear understanding and mutual respect.

After a commercial break we are taken to the ring where second generation superstar; Randy Orton stands in the ring as he makes a proclamation of intent. He tells the fans in attendance and those watching at home that he intends to take on John Cena at the greatest event in Sports-Entertainment; WrestleMania. He tells the fans that the reason he wants to take on Cena is because he has beaten the best of the best and put on some of the greatest matches he can. But he has never put on the greatest match on the card of the greatest pay per view in history. He says that he has beaten and been beaten at the event but every time, John Cena has stolen the spotlight; he is 6-1 so far.

In the WrestleMania recall match this week, Kane took on the Great Khali and defeated him with ease. After the match Kane announced to the crowd that he is the second wrestler in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

After yet another commercial we go back to ringside, but this time the lights are a yellow, looking similar to the NXT set. But inside the ring stands the Hall of Fame announcer; Howard Finkel.

Howard Finkel: Ladies and Gentlemen: it is my pleasure to welcome the first member of the Hall of Fame; Class of 2011. He is a former two time WWE Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion and a King of the Ring…Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage!

The fans pop in anticipation of one of the greatest wrestlers of the 1980’s & 90’s returning to the WWE once again and a video package plays before he is set to enter.

Once the tribute has played, on the screen we see the body of Savage sprawled out and the camera pans up to the face of Sheamus who smiles and shouts “I’m the only King of the Ring worthy of legendary status!”

In the semi main event of the night, The Miz and Alex Riley were cheating throughout and it cost Diesel & Morrison the match. The finish came as Riley distracted the referee; Miz smashed Diesel over the head and low blowed Morrison before pinning Big Daddy Cool for the 3.

After the match we see Shawn Michaels return to the WWE and he runs down to the ring to stop Miz & Riley’s attack on the losers. As he got to the ring the WWE Champion and his protégé were out of the ring and other the guard rail. Meanwhile John Morrison got to his feet and he was helped up by Shawn who was handed a microphone. He announced that he was going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, the day before WrestleMania and told John if he stayed on the same path as he is currently on, then he will follow on the path to being a legend.

The main event was finally upon us and we saw John Cena defeat CM Punk and after the match both men were attacked by Sheamus. He destroyed Punk with a stiff chair shot to his back but he left Cena and took to the microphone issuing his own challenge to meet at WrestleMania.

In a shock victory, the Nexus picked up an enormous win over the pairing of Rey Mysterio & Evan Bourne. However it was due to an injury sustained at the hands of Sheamus last week that cost Bourne the match as the Nexus focused their attacks solely on Bourne and tried to avoid Mysterio as best they could.

In a shock to the crowd, the other faction within the WWE were in attendance at the event and the Corre (minus Wade Barrett) were intent on pushing everyone around. They proceed through the back causing upset everywhere in the back until they spot Justin Gabriel. They walk over to him and start making threats until he start laughing back and behind the Corre walks Big Show & Heath Slater who ask if there’s a problem. Instantly the group back down and walk off.

In a great main event we saw Goldust take on his younger brother; Cody Rhodes and it looked as though Dust was going to earn a clean victory. However it wasn’t to be as one by one, Kaitlyn & Vickie Guerrero walked down to ringside. Goldust could see them out of the corner of his eye, but finally he snapped as Chavo waltz down to the ring. But before he could turn his attention onto his rival; Cody Rhodes hit him with a low blow in clean view of the referee. This cheap move got him disqualified but allowed the dirty tactics of Chavo to come into play as all four of them begin stomping on Goldust and slapping him until finally Cody drags him to his feet and throws him over the top and out to ringside.

Finally on Superstars we are shown the second recap of the night and this time it is a recap of Daniel Bryans rise to fame since debuting on NXT against former World Heavyweight Champion; Chris Jericho. Up until the present day and it also included some footage from his days training under William Regal.

In the opening segment of the night we had Wade Barrett on the microphone, demanding that if Big Show & Slater want to get in the business of the Corre. Then the Corre are going to make it their goal to put the two out of business, for good.

In the opening match of the night, there wasn’t a winner determined as the Corre made good on their promise. Tyson Kidd & Tyler Reks ran into the ring to clear house and they did until David Hart Smith began channelling his father; The British Bulldog. Starting his momentum, he shoulder blocked Reks out of the ring completely before following up with an arm drag, straight into an arm lock. He keeps the pressure on as Slater drops Reks on the outside with his Sweetness finishing move.

In an outstanding performance, Layla won in dominant form over Kaitlyn in a match that ended in less than 4 minutes. She seems to have dropped the weight and turned her tides in her favour.

The shocks keep coming on SmackDown as we saw the former WWE Champion appear on the blue show. The Irishman Sheamus is filmed walking down the corridors of the arena and he walks onto the interview set where Zack Ryder is filming a pre-tape for Superstars. But Ryder doesn’t get the chance to finish it as Sheamus interrupts and throws him into the background which is made of steel mesh and there seems to be a Ryder shaped hole in it once the angle ends.

Following on from a commercial break, the fans see Cody Rhodes take on and defeat Kofi Kingston in an Intercontinental title match. Not surprisingly the finish of the match was a cheap one and afterwards, Cody Rhodes’ entourage of Chavo, Kaitlyn (who puts over back pain after her match with Layla) & Vickie Guerrero walk down to ringside and celebrate with him.

The celebrations continue for a minute or two until Cody finally gets onto the microphone.

Cody Rhodes: You see, this, this is what a second generation superstar looks like. I am THE ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes and I. Well I’m Your new Intercontinental Champion. This is what a Rhodes son can achieve when he doesn’t wear a wig and cover himself in Gold face paint. Dustin, brother, you’re an embarrassment to me and you’re an embarrassment to dad.

But Dustin, I’m giving you the chance to give yourself some credibility, take me on at WrestleMania and I promise you. I promise you that I will put you back on the map, no more Goldust, no more face paint. Rhodes vs. Rhodes at the big one. One on one at WrestleMania!?

The main event of the show was quickly upon us and in a long drag out match, Kane lost to Edge. The finish of the match came as Kane tried to land a choke slam on Edge who managed to break the grip of the big Red Machine. With the grip broken, Kane had no choice but to drop Edge and this lead to him being dropped with the Edgecution manoeuvre from the former World Heavyweight champion and the win for Edge.

As the fans calm down after the main event, one final video appears on the screen and it is the announcement of Shawn Michaels being inducted into the hall of fame:

After the video plays, it has a graphic playing where it looks as though the film reel is melting. As it melts a scorpion appears behind it and out onto the entrance ramp walks the World Heavyweight Champion proudly.

The champion walks down the ramp with a mixed reaction from the crowd, he enters the ring with his red coat, black and red tights and his title belt over his shoulder. As he gets into the ring, he takes the microphone and begins to speak with a stern look on his face.

Sting: Taker, I’ve had enough. You can try your mind games but it’s not going to work you see. Me and you are more alike than you think and that’s what I’ve had enough of. You see the big man in titan tower didn’t want me to wear my black coat. He didn’t want me to wear then black tights with a white scorpion on and you know why? Because I looked to similar to the Deadman and it’s over. No more red trench coat and no more Red and black tights. Undertaker at WrestleMania in two weeks you’re going to get 100% Stinger!

As he talks into the microphone he takes off his royal looking red coat and throws it over the ropes and climbs out of the ring towards a fan. He asks the fans for his coat, he obliges and Sting dresses himself in a black trench coat. But before he has a chance to finish his speech, the lights go out. When they turn back on Sting is in the ring, face to face with the Undertaker for the first time in WWE history.

But no words were exchanged, the two just stare at each other until the SmackDown logo appears to signal the end of the show.

Raw this week opens with William Regal dominating over R-Truth and picking up the win in a big way with his Regal Stretch submission. Throughout the match, he was trying to get under the skin of Daniel Bryan who was shown to be watching the match backstage. He getting under the skin by shouting; “Best in the world!” continuously as he bent and twister Truth into different submissions.

In unfamiliar fashion, Daniel Bryan was given a good 7-8 minutes on the microphone as he accepted the challenge set by William Regal. But he didn’t want to wait for next week, instead he told Regal to meet him in the ring next week on Raw and he will prove who the best in the world really is.

Trying to outdo her former tag team partner, Michelle McCool took on and put in a losing effort against Beth Phoenix & Natalya Neidhart. In contrary to previous weeks the unity of the faces continues strong after last weeks mutual show of respect.

In the worst segment in recent memory, the crowd are shown a video of Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts as he is announced to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. But as with last week after the video is shown, Sheamus is standing over the destroyed body of Mr. DDT. To the camera, Sheamus says that his wrath of destruction isn’t over yet and someone else will be dealt with tonight.

With an easy job of bringing the crowds mood up, John Morrison took on Alex Riley in a match that lasted around 15 minutes. The winner was Morrison following an intense showdown between Diesel and The Miz on the outside of the ring. Morrison channelled Michaels as he ascended the top rope and moonsaulted backwards down to ringside landing on all three of the other men.

In one of the biggest shocks of recent times, The Rock returned to the WWE and he worked the fans into a frenzy. But his status was left as a mystery and that all will be revealed on next weeks Raw.

In the semi main event we had The Miz taking on Diesel, The Miz made short work of Big Daddy Cool as he just couldn’t keep up with the awesome one. The Miz ended the match by grabbing Diesels tights in the corner and rolling him up with the schoolboy pin whilst keeping hold of the tights.

As Sheamus’ chronicled loose cannon attitude takes a more serious turn, we see him walking backstage. He walks towards the Divas, but before he gets there, Hornswoggle is unfortunate enough to walk in his path. But before he has a chance to put his hands on him, someone walks behind him and the camera pans up. As it does we catch the glimpse of a leather jacket and the fans go wild as a deep voice tells Sheamus to leave. The camera continues to pan up and there he is, the return of Triple H, live and in person. The Game, the Cerebral Assassin himself has returned to Monday Night Raw!

We finally get to the main event and it’s between Nexus and Randy Orton & John Cena. The strange bedfellows who have been hinting towards a match at Mania pick up the win but still there is tension between the two.

After the match, the tension continues until both men are attacked by Sheamus who didn’t heed the words of Triple H. But his attack doesn’t go unnoticed as Triple H’s music blasts down the PA system and he sprints out of the back like a bullet from a gun. With sledgehammer in hand Triple H enters the ring and he confronts Sheamus, but just as he is about to swing the hammer an annoying sound is heard.

Michael Cole approaches the laptop and reads out the instructions from the Anonymous GM of Raw. He tells Triple H, Sheamus, Randy Orton and John Cena that they WILL meet at WrestleMania, but it will be a fatal four way match! All four men finally get into the ring and stare at each other as the Raw logo signals the end of the show.
