With the WWE now using Superstars as a recap and undercard show, the show opens with a video showing the reveal of one of the matches at WrestleMania. The match between Sheamus, Triple H, John Cena and Randy Orton was hyped up by showing the history between the four men.

In the first match of the night the fans got to see some Divas action between Tamina and Alicia Fox. Neither really got into their stride and it showed in the performance and the match was cut short by management. Vince McMahon is said to be furious at the current undercard Divas.

In another hype video, the fans are shown the history of the Money in the Bank match and the opportunities that can be gained from it. Then it fades into the Kane vs. Edge match from the previous week.

In yet another failed attempt, the anti-Corre group lost to the their opposing stable and this lead to Wade Barrett ordering the destruction of DH Smith and Slater. But it wasn’t to be as the 7’0, 400+ lb Big Show stood like a brick wall between the two sides.

In the final promo of the night, we are shown the past victims of The Undertaker followed by the mind games of Sting prior to his debut. Then towards the end of the video, the song ‘Back in Black’ begins to play and the screen fades into a commercial for WrestleMania.

In the main event of Superstars we saw Cody Rhodes defending his Intercontinental Championship against Chris Masters. None too surprisingly we saw Rhodes pick up the dirty win with the help of Kaitlyn who is shown as his new manager.

---WWE SmackDown! Preview---

With just two Smackdowns left before the biggest spectacle in sports entertainment, we are set to see two Money in the Bank qualifiers. The first is between Raws own CM Punk and the blue brands; Big Show. The second sees Rey Mysterio take on Zack Ryder but the main event is where the true action is to be set.

In the main event we are to see the World Heavyweight Champion look to continue his undefeated streak in the WWE as he takes on the Mexico Superstar; Alberto Del Rio. Will we see The Undertaker once again on SmackDown just weeks before WrestleMania & will the Corre return in force to opress the undercard talents of Justin Gabriel, DH Smith & Heath Slater?

The opening match of SmackDown! saw two main event calibre stars vying for a place in the Money in the Bank ladder match. CM Punk managed an enormous victory over the Big Show through the interference of not only the Nexus but the Corre also made an appearance.

After the match however once the Big Show was beaten down the two opposing groups stood proud and seemingly united in the ring. But soon enough the battle lines were drawn and the leaders of both groups walked into the middle before turning away and leaving the ring.

In her second singles match since breaking her tag team with Michelle McCool up, Layla picked up a big victory. She defeated the former Divas champion; Melina and in a quick fashion.

After the match, Layla took to the microphone and challenged Michelle McCool to a match at WrestleMania and for once she wanted to prove to the WWE Universe that she was the dominant diva in LayCool. Michelle accepted the challenge but demanded that they have one last tag team match. Layla seemed very wary but accepted out of hesitance.

In a not too shocking victory, Mysterio picked up the win over Zack Ryder who pin in a star performance with great comedic timing throughout. Rey seemed off his game tonight and with good reason as on the big screen was Kane throughout the match with a huge grin on his face.

The next segment was a hype video for Stings history in WCW and his meteoric debut in WWE and finally him ditching the WWE character for his own.

Despite a lack of psychology, the rematch for the Intercontinental saw Cody Rhodes pick up another cheap win. But the main story from this match was Rhodes imitating Goldust with his mannerisms but trashing on it.

As a figure walks down to the ring with the costume of Goldust in his possession, the man finally reveals himself to be Dustin Rhodes.

He begins ranting and raving about respecting this business he is a part of and how, young, brash kids like Cody think they can come in and take control without paying their dues. He continues on saying that he has had enough of paying his dues and that he wants to carve his own name into the history books and he wants to do it by having the first brother vs. brother bull rope match at WrestleMania! As he finishes his challenge to his brother; Dustin leaves the ring and takes a white cowboy hat from the front row and leaves the arena.

Before the match started, the fans were anticipating Stings arrival to the ring but it is a swerve as they are shocked with the introduction of The Undertaker with the typical gong. Undertaker picked up the victory over Alberto Del Rio and afterwards the camera pans up to the titantron and in the shadows stands Sting as his white face paint is the only thing giving him away.

Just one six days removed from WrestleMania, the WWE has some huge matches set for Monday Night Raw. However the first matter of business is last weeks Friday Night SmackDown; the main event which was originally scheduled for the show, did not take place due to an injury Sting sustained during a rigorous training schedule as he prepare for WrestleMania!

In other news, this Saturday will see the return of Saturday Nights Main Event live on Pay-Per View for a special price of $10. The show is set to be packed full of matches between some of the biggest names just one night before the biggest Sports Entertainment spectacular that is WrestleMania.

On to tonights matches, Raw will feature some of the best entertainers take each other on from both the red brand and the blue brand.

The show opens with an enormous reaction as The Rock returns to Monday Night Raw and announced to the crowd that he would be hosting WrestleMania! He announced that he was also going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame along with Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage and Jake Roberts. He said it was going to be the most electrifying Hall of Fame ceremony in the history of sports entertainment.

In the opening match of the night we saw John Morrison pick up the victory over the Intercontinental champion and his partner in crime; Chavo Guerrero. He did so when Kaitlyn seemed to be torn between Chavo and Cody, not knowing who to help first.

In the post match segment the crowd saw one team of superstars who are unified in their goal to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. However on the other side of the coin, the crowd saw a team who seemed to be falling apart at the seams.

In a shock, Layla accepted a challenge made online to a handicap match against her former tag team partner and Melina. She did however, lose to Melina but Michelle took all the credit for the win, because "she is such a great champion".

In the next segment a hype video was shown, showing the training Daniel Bryan and William Regal had been enduring. It hyped the mentor/pupil relationship promo from the previous weeks and showed footage from the Elimination Chamber.

In a triple threat match, neither Bryan nor Regal made contact with one another as Justin Gabriel made a point of trying to take on both men. However towards the end of the match, it finished in a no contest as all three men were destroyed by The Corre who wanted to make the biggest impact they could prior to WrestleMania.

With another video package shown, this time it hypes up the match between Randy Orton, John Cena, Sheamus & Triple H. It shows an intense promo from Triple H mid video saying how he is the only king of this ring.

In the semi main event, the newly debuted “cowboy” gimmick of Dustin Rhodes showed he had credibility as a potential main event calibre superstar. However despite the great showing in the match, the awesomeness that is The Miz picked up the win and without help from Alex Riley.

As the main event rolls around, one of the final superstars was announced for the money in the bank match. The anonymous GM declares that to try and help Del Rio gain some momentum on SmackDown that he will be in the match and thus in the upcoming tag team match.

The main event started and it was a handicap match throughout, until the closing moments began to draw close and some familiar music blares down the PA system.

Christian returns! He makes an instant mark on the match as he makes a beeline towards Del Rio who injured him just months ago. But he was unable to get his hands on him as he tags out, the finish came as Christian continued to dominate over Kane and finally plants him with the Kill switch.

The opening match of Superstars saw Michelle McCool take on and defeat Beth Phoenix in a special preview of WrestleMania as the ring was surrounded by the other divas. Michelle won the match when Phoenix tried to protect Layla and ended up being hit with the title belt by Natalya accidentally.

Following on from the match, a video package played showing the demise of LayCool which is mirrored with a small section of video showing the slow building feud between Natalya and Beth Phoenix.

In the opening of WWE SmackDown we see a timeline video for the WWE Championship match between The Miz and John Morrison. It documents the four years of history between the two of them but the deep voiced voice over says there is one X factor that needs to be accounted; Big Daddy Cool Diesel.

The first match of the night saw Kane and Rey Mysterio battle it out in a match that lasted 14:45. The finish of the match came as Rey went up for a springboard splash and just before he lands Kane grabs his neck with one hand and sits up. He proceeds to stand choke slams him down to the canvas.

Next on the show is the reunited team of Christian and Edge who are seen plotting to watch each other back tonight and tomorrow on Saturday Nights Main Event.

In a match that was dragged up to par by the ring work of Natalya and Beth, Michelle picked up the win over Natalya when she landed her Fallen Angel finishing move. She stood in the ring over Layla & Natalya as Beth Phoenix leaves via the entrance ramp but never loses her eyesight which is locked on the ring at all times.

In another WrestleMania preview match we saw Big Show and Justin Gabriel take on and defeat Wade Barrett and Tyler Reks. After the match however, the Corre gain retribution and try start destroying Big Show and Gabriel until the cavalry arrive and both warring factions are outside the ring on opposite sides.

To commemorate his induction into the Hall of Fame and hosting WrestleMania, The Rock had his own tribute video aired.

In a grudge match, Dustin Rhodes picked up a victory over Chavo Guerrero but only through botched manager interference. This was the final straw for Chavo and he snapped, going on a rampage around ringside and almost hitting Kaitlyn, but instead he ran after Cody who was sat on commentary and he issued a challenge to be included in the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania.

The main event of the last SmackDown before WrestleMania was finally upon us and it was between Edge and Alberto Del Rio. The match was technically sound and the heel managed to pull out the win with the Arm bar finishing move. However after the match as he continued with the submission move trying to put him out, he only kept it on until he is ran off by Christian and Del Rio got out of dodge as quick as he could.

The final segment of the show chronicled the history between the two men and finally ends by recapping the shoot (like) promo from Sting who hyped up himself changing back to his old school crow gimmick rather than the WWE carved one.

The final step on the road to WrestleMania stops at Saturday Nights Main Event, the showcase steeped in wrestling heritage and tonight will be no different.

The show opens with huge pyro and the first match of the night begins, this contest saw Michelle McCool and LayCool reform LayCool for one night only against Beth Phoenix & Natalya Neidhart. The winners of the match surpisingly were the team of LayCool who won following a title belt shot to the back of the head of Beth Phoenix, but it happened when Layla was outside of the ring fighting with Natalya.

After the match, Layla celebrated with Michelle McCool until the recap of the finish was shown on the screen and it sparked the doubts in Layla’s mind once again. This gave Michelle the opportunity to slap the face off of Layla and they begin cat fighting until Phoenix & Natalya break the warring enemies up.

In the second match of the night, the team of William Regal and Chavo Guerrero picked up a very well earned victory over long time nemeses; Bryan and Dustin. The finish of the match came as Regal smashed Dustin over the face with the brass knuckles before Chavo plants him with the Frog Splash from the top rope.

After the match however, Chavo took the microphone and began running his mouth on the microphone. But the promo seemed almost shoot like and he demanded that he was good enough to be a contender in the Intercontinental title match at WrestleMania. After he’s finished The Rock makes his triumphant appearance at SNME and announced that he was making the title match a triple threat no DQ match.

In a blockbuster tag team match; Triple H and Sheamus fell victim to the dysfunctional team that they made. The two kings in the ring could not contain their aggression and as the team broke down, the referee began to count them out as they fought at ringside. Both men tried to destroy each other, meanwhile Randy Orton and John Cena agreed to put on a show for the crowd and showed how well they could chain wrestle. But at the end of the day; Cena and Randy picked up the win through count out.

In the semi main event of Saturday Nights Main Event the enormous 6 man tag team match saw the reuniting teams of Edge & Christian and Edge & Rey Mysterio against CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio and Kane. The face team in the match were clearly on the same page and they were united in the same cause and that was to defeat the opposition but to do it clean. However the heels were trying everything to pick up the victory and after 17:07 the heels were pipped at the post when Mysterio was instructed to ascend a ladder that was placed outside the ring. He did so and leaped into the ring on top of the five other superstars. The referee called the pin when Kane’s shoulders remained on the mat, granted they were underneath five other men’s bodies.

In the final segment of the night there is a video showing the previous nights Hall of Fame induction ceremony and undoubtedly; The Rock stole the show.

In a shock to the crowd, The Undertaker looked very complacent in his match against The Miz and he couldn’t keep up with the young talent that stood opposite him in the ring. However the finish of the match came as Sting stood at the ramp with his black leather duster coat and his black tights with his face illuminated in white paint. He stands with a baseball bat and surprisingly the king of mind games; The Undertaker was defeated by The Miz. On commentary was John Morrison and Diesel who did an awesome job putting over the main event of WrestleMania.

In the preshow to WrestleMania, the annual cross promotional battle royal took place and the winner was the legendary (maybe not) Zack Ryder. He picked up the win when he was left in the ring with Santino Marella who tried the Cobra but was thrown straight over the top rope.

The show opens with an enormous opening pyrotechnics and the national anthem is sang by Keri Hilson. Then the real spectacle that is WrestleMania started as a familiar theme song blasted around the capacity crowd and onto the stage walked the most electrifying man in sports entertainment: The Rock.

The enormity of The Rocks arrival can be felt throughout the arena and the great one himself enters WrestleMania with the capacity crowd on its feet. He storms down to the ring with his trademark strut and he ascends the closest turnbuckle with one hand raised high in the air. He enters the ring with a wide smile on his face and is handed a microphone from the ring announcer.

The Rock: Finally!

The Rock stops speaking instantly and paces back and forwards listening to the crowd.

The Rock: Finally! The Rock! Has come back to…WrestleMania!!

The crowd erupt into a frenzy chanting Rocky in unison.

The Rock: Tonight, WrestleMania twenty seven will be marked in history as The Rocks WrestleMania! Tonight the most electrifying, pie eating, jabroni beating man in sports entertainment is going into the Hall of Fame. The Rocks legendary status will be cemented into the records book forever! I am the greatest superstar in the history of this company.

The fans continue to chant Rocky at the top of their lungs and he stops speaking for a second but soon raises the microphone to his mouth.

The Rock: No, No No No! Tonight is not just about The Rock! Because tonight, we are going to see some of the greatest matches in the history of Sports Entertainment as we’ve got Sting against The Undertaker. The Miz against Morrison and I’ll be damned we’ve got Triple H, Randy Orton, Sheamus and (The Rock coughs before saying his name) John Cena in one match! From the bottom of the show to the top, tonight you will see the greatest WrestleMania in the history of Sports Entertainment!

He pauses for a second or two…

The Rock: IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!!!

The show opens with the colossus elimination match between the Corre and their arch nemeses; The Anti-Corre. The winner of the match was Wade Barrett who picked up a huge final elimination over The Big Show with his patented Wasteland finishing move which demonstrated his superhuman strength by dropping the Big Show. After the match however Barrett wasn’t finished working over the giant and he ordered his troops to destroy him and in an almost shoot like beat down; Big Show was destroyed stiffly.

The show continues with a triple threat match between Chavo Guerrero, Dustin Rhodes and ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship. The match went on for a considerable amount of time (17:28) and it finally ended when it was just Dustin and Cody standing across the ring from each other. Meanwhile on the outside Kaitlyn was doing her thing and kept distracting Chavo throughout the exchange between the Rhodes brothers. The finish of the match came as Dustin whipped Cody into the corner and places him for the Shattered Dreams. But instead Dustin smiled c0ckily at Cody and began planting him with Bionic Elbows, he was clearly channelling his father but Cody was too smart and ducked the final elbow. He managed to manoeuvre himself away from the corner and pushed his brother chest first into the turnbuckle. As Dustin stumbled backwards through the force of the push; Cody leapt to the middle rope and performed a forward facing bulldog. Cody pinned but Dustin just managed to kick out and from the top rope came Chavo leaping with the frog splash. Another pin but another kick out by Dustin, Cody stood up slowly and caught Chavo by the neck and dropped him onto the midsection of Dustin before making the pin and picks up the win.

In the first Divas match of the night we saw Beth Phoenix take on and lose to Natalya as she couldn’t break the three count. The finish of the match came as Beth lifted her up for the Michinoku Driver II but as she does her knee buckled beneath her. As she dropped; Natalya smelt blood in the water and grabbed the legs of Beth and locked her in the Sharpshooter and channelled her heritage as she made Beth tap out in pain.

After the match, Natalya celebrates with the rest of the divas who remain around the ring but as she does Beth tries to stand up and she stares at Natalaya. Neidhart clambers into the ring and approaches Beth before extending her hand as a show of respect and it is accepted.

The next segment of the night saw WrestleMania host walking through the backstage area with a huge smile on his face and he walks into the path of Steve Austin. The both stare each other down and a video plays on the screen recounting the history between the two men at WrestleMania.

Next on the show was the colossal Money in the Bank ladder match, despite expecting it to be a spot fest from the outset; Edge & Del Rio put on a great back and forth wrestling match. But on the outside was all about CM Punk and Christian and in a shock to the fans; Rey Mysterio couldn’t compete following a devastating choke slam from the ladder to the announce table. The finish of the match came as Christian began climbing the ladder and Del Rio began ascend a second; position alongside it. Del Rio began to chop the chest of Christian and as he tried to chop him back, Del Rio catches his hand and manages to arm drag him stiffly to the canvas and he drops off the ladder. Smelling blood in the water Del Rio locks in the armbar and almost rips the shoulder out of joint. Del Rio releases the hold and ascends the ladder to greatness and retrieves the belt.

In one of the most hotly anticipated matches in recent memory, Daniel Bryan and William Regal put on a 20 minute draw. The match featured great action between the two and some sound technical wrestling. Some of the highlight spots featured a plancha through the middle and top rope to the outside which connected this time (unlike NXT.) Also a brief exchange of European Uppercuts had the fans on the edge of their seats in horror at the stiffness. Both men took each other to the physical limits and the fans were very appreciative.

The finish of the match came as both men were performing move for move chains where each superstar attempted the same moves as each other but neither could gain the upper hands. This went on for about 3 minutes at the end of the match and Bryan lock in a Lebelle Lock and as Regal hung on for 20 seconds, riving in pain until he was about to tap. As he did the bell rang before he got to the second tap and the match was announced as a time limit draw.

After the match, both men were exhausted and just lay in the middle of the ring with the 70,000 capacity fans chanting “5 more minutes!” After a minute or two; William Regal manages to get to his feet and he helped Bryan up and raised his hand in victory. As the fans erupt with cheers, Regal offered the handshake to Daniel and it is accepted to an enormous reaction from the fans.

The second and final Divas match of the night was between Michelle McCool and Layla El. Both women tried there hardest but couldn’t put on a match anywhere near the quality of Beth and Natalya’s but McCool put in the star performance. She seemed to have taken some extra training and it showed in the match as she excelled over her former counterpart. Michelle retained her title against Layla following the Fallen Angel.

In the biggest of hall classes in history, the class of 2011 consisting of; The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage and Shawn Micheals were shown to the crowd and they all took a bow. Randy Savage however looked rather worse for wear as he tried dressing in a flashy tuxedo to mirror his old ‘Macho Man’ gimmick. Each man was assisted by the divas (Maryse, Eve, Rosa Mendes & Tamina.)

After the previous segment, one of the biggest matches in the history of WrestleMania took place between four of the hottest main eventers in the WWE. Throughout the match we had each man taking on each other until it broke down to the three faces against Sheamus but they couldn’t break the will of the Irishman.

The fight went on 17 minutes until Sheamus seemed to snap and he began fighting back against the three and he cleared the ring of Triple H & John Cena. He followed up by planting Orton with the Irish Curse backbreaker before grabbing him by the head and dumping him over the top rope. But instantly John Cena re-enters the ring and Sheamus grabs the fist thrown by the Chain gang Soldier and chops his chest. He continues to chop him until finally whips him into the corner and plants him with an enormous running boot to the face. The sheer impact causes Cena to drop to the canvas instantly and roll out of the ring and down to the mats at ringside. Finally Triple H made his way back into the ring as Sheamus was down on his knees in the corner in exhaustion. Triple H tries to take advantage of him and places him in position for the Pedigree before hooking his arms. But Sheamus just manages to break free and with one swift kick to the stomach he has him up for the Celtic Slam and drives him into the canvas for the three count.

After the match however as his music blasts throughout the arena, Sheamus stands in the ring and almost with renewed intensity he stares at Triple H who lays prone on the canvas. For a minute or two Sheamus looks to be battling his thoughts but he grabs Triple H by the hair and lifts him up for the Celtic Cross and he throws him over the top rope and onto the bodies of John Cena and Randy Orton who were just standing on the outside of the ring.

Afterwards however Sheamus left the ring and stood over the three men and shouted out; “Bow down to the King!”

In one of two main events, The Miz defended and gladly retain his WWE title to his former tag team partner; John Morrison and the finish came as Diesel took out Alex Riley as he tried throwing the strap to The Miz.

As he threw it Morrison managed to use his amazing jump height and intercept it before throwing it back out of the ring. However as he did so; he was dropped with the Reality Check and The Miz picked up an emphatic victory over his long time rival.

After the match The Miz helped Riley to take out Diesel and they stood in the ring as proud as punch.

In anticipation of the main event between Sting and The Undertaker; the live act for WrestleMania rises out of the ground and is revealed to be none other than AC/DC. The older fans in attendance go berserk but instantly the lights go out in the arena and the sound of the bell begins to toll.

Once the bells finish and the song begins; The Undertaker rises out of the ground and he begins to slowly walk down the entrance ramp. The electricity of the crowd is immense and The Undertaker seems to feed off of it in his new all white attire (and coat/hat.) He steps onto the apron and he stands before removing his hat and instantly the lights rise and the song ends.

Next up was the hotly anticipated WrestleMania debut of the World Heavyweight Champion; Sting.

He is lowered down from the ceiling and the song blasts around the arena as he rips off his maroon coat to reveal his black duster and walks over to Johnson of AC/DC. He smiles at the lead singer Brian Johnson who sings even louder and hands him a guitar case. Sting walks down to the ring but stops at the entrance way taunting for The Undertaker to leaves the ring and as he does Sting drops the case and opens it revealing his classic black baseball bat. He strikes the Undertaker in the ribs and again across the back before entering the ring.

The match went on for 15 minutes until finally Sting had the Undertaker locked in the Sharpshooter or Scorpion Death lock as he calls it. But Taker managed to break it and as Sting collapses in disbelief and exhaustion; Undertaker sits up and stares at him. But as he gets up Sting crashes him in the face with a right hand and whips him into the corner but as Sting tries to land him with the Stinger splash Undertaker side steps him. As Stinger stumbles out of the corner he is lifted up and planted on his head with the Tombstone!

The Undertaker picked up the win and in a hard fought battle that saw all of his patented moves (including a plancha to the outside, a choke slam, Last Ride and his patented leg drop on the apron.)

After the match however, The Undertaker wasn’t finished as the winner of the Money in the Bank match sauntered down to the ring with his smile widening. He stepped into the ring and smashed The Undertaker over the head with his briefcase before hooking the leg for the pin.

But he couldn’t pick up the win and Del Rio continued to work over the Deadman until finally after another match that went on for a staggering 15 minutes; The Undertaker couldn’t continue any more and he fell to the ground in exhaustion. However something within him pushed him and he sat up one last time as they began exchange holds and strikes until The Undertaker dodge one and dropped Del Rio with the Hells Gate! He taps!

As Del Rio taps the lights go out in the arena and there is lightening that begins to crash around the arena and on the entrance screen. It continues for several minutes until one final strike of lightening hits the ring and it begins to shake as music sounds down the PA system.

As it sounds a graphic on the screen appears and numbers slowly start counting up from one to finally it gets to 20 and one last piece of lightening smashes into the ring and the lights rise slowly until the all that is visible is the body of the Undertaker.

He lays motionless in the ring and lightening smashes into the ring yet again and it starts to shake. It shakes for a minute or two and the graphic begins counting backwards until it hits 0. As it hits 0, the ring descends into the ground and all that’s left is smoke gushing out of the deathly crypt.

The lights go out.

Awesome Wrestlemania and awesome way to end Undertakers career .. If thats whats happened here. Gret swerve with Del Rio and love the idea of the ring dropping down into a crypt - Takers yard and all that, good stuff.
