Default data expansion EXPANSION - 105 new fighters, 21 camps, now with renders

Recommended Posts

Hello. Thanks to the graciousness of our board renderers, I am now able to offer an expanded version of my fighter pack, now complete with renders. As the thread title suggests, it now has 105 fighters (78 male, 27 female) and some new camps. Almost all new fighters are set to debut in the years 1999-2005 as I never play beyond that myself anyway. Feel free to change that if you want a longer lasting game.

Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7f07ld31kh3kbti/Eyeball%20pack%20v%202.00.rar

Size: 13 mb.

Fighter quality ranges from below mediocre to very good. There is only one near-Fezzik level competitor (Omar Khan), most other high level fighters may have very high stats in one area but almost everyone have clear weaknesses in order to prevent upsetting normal game balance.

Most of the female competitors are of fairly high quality, but the better onces are set to debut later, making them less overpowered. I just got tired of looking at the same old female regens in my games and wanted to add some exciting newcomers.

Several characters and camps reference real-world ones and there's one or two joke characters thrown in too, Fritz Shelton being the most obvious one.

Most renders in the pack came from the highly talented London, Clarity and Lucky, but I also wish to thank the no less talented ieffinrule, Scottie, weidt, VBigB, Trell, Bull, sebsplex and Jtlant for a smaller number of renders in the mod.

RENDERER ALERT: As I've used a large number of renders in this pack, many of them renders I've had lying around for ages, I am not 100% sure I've credited every single renderer here, especially as some of them come from weidt's FFC picture pack. If anyone recognises their work without having given permission or without having been credited, PLEASE let me know so I can either give you credit or remove the offending renders. I am not out to steal anyone's work as I am not a renderer myself and only wish to bring enjoyment to the WMMA3 community.

User instructions: These fighters are meant to be integrated in the default database. To use them from a new game or an ongoing game, simply extract Eyeball Pack folder to the Databases folder, then import the new fighters and camps into your existing game using the handy in-game import function.

If you want renders as well, put all renders in the Pictures folder in the Pictures/Default folder where you have your default renders (Yes, I know the naming of the .gifs is odd, but I couldn't be bothered to rename all of them.)

Legal stuff: Do whatever you want with the fighter data, no need to ask me permission. It's just ones and zeroes. The renders are the property of their respective creators and permission should be obtained from them individually before using in your own mod publications.

Hope you enjoy it, please let me know if there are any problems with the pack or if you see any renders that are already used within the default database. I may make more fighters later if I feel like it.

GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE! Thats all I can say right now, been holding off until some renders were added, helps me remember who is who sometimes, but I'll be downloading this now and playing it when I get home.. USB Keychains are a great thing to have sometimes.

Probably going to add them in and start a new watcher game and see who out of here are cans of bankable guys for a future game.

Many thanks.

Great work Eyeball. Sorry about not getting the other renders up for you in time, but here were the ones I got around to doing if you want to use them for any other fighters that had double ups or new guys. :)

Oh, and as Afroduck said some of the renders are in the default DB. Here's an alternate Bobby Goldstein I made for what I think is London's awesome render:

Turned out OK, I think.

Guest Asaemon

Thanks a lot! Excellent expansion, with a lot of cool strikers.

I couldn't find the picture for Isidore Cabral. Was he supposed to have a picture with his name or one of the numbered pictures?

Awesome work thanks alot.Just looked through and noticed a few renders that are in the default data.Amanullah Karzai = Javid Khan,Cyprien Lejeune = Luka Hajek,Genadijs Pizikas = Hoshi Nagai,Nigel Woodward = Franak Pavilchenko.

Point taken - will be fixed in next release. And I agree, that 2nd render looks great for a babyface character like Lejeune.

Anyone see any other repeat renders? Is Bobby Goldstein one, did you say? Who in the default DB is using his render?

In hindsight, I might be wrong about Goldstein. That render was very familiar, so perhaps it was just from the thread...

The file in the OP on this thread should have all renders included. What are you having trouble with?

ok, i extracted the files to a seperate folder as a se[erate db but there were nopics. what happens if i copy them to the default db? or if i use the import function. how do i get the renders to show.

sorry if im asking stupid questions

Just put the images from the pack into the default database picture folder. The expansion's meant to be used with the default database, so I keep all my renders there anyway.

Great work man. I'll definately integrate this in the main db. Been checking out some stats and found some errors:

Odete Cisoto, said to be very speedy, has her strenght and mobility mixed up (resp. 97 & 40). She is therefore very slow, which is not aligned with the profile. :)

I also noticed you gave some fighters an 'experience' rating when they debut, which is not really balanced. But I guess it doesn't make that much difference.

Cisoto is a definite oversight, she's supposed to be moderately strong at best.

You're right about the experience thing, most of those with experience are leftovers from a previous version of the mod where they all debuted at game start. Will be corrected. Thanks for pointing it out.

Fighters like Omar Khan and Edgar Hoskins are supposed to be veterans from other styles of martial arts, meaning that they should have at least SOME degree of experience that could carry over to the cage. It just felt wrong to have a world-class combat sambo fighter with 0 MMA experience since combat sambo has a ruleset pretty close to MMA anyway.

I believe you can do this with mod maker +.

Thanks man, I lucked out! When I extracted the data, somehow I missed the pictures. I use no picture as a filtering option and was able to isolate all the new fighters. Then I was able to mass edit them. Every debuts from 2014-2020 now and they are mostly born in the 90's. Awesome, I'm set!
