Supreme Wrestling Federation ‘77

The Dawn of Supreme

In 1971 a young businessman by the name of Richard Eisen was looking for the perfect opportunity to become his own boss. Richard had big dreams of become enormously rich and powerful. Richard Eisen was the youngest child in the tough Eisen family. With 6 siblings Eisen was forced to use his wits and use his smarts to earn his keep. By the age of 13 Eisen was running his own lemonade stand, employing his older brothers as protection. By using his brothers as hired muscle he was able to eliminate the competition and keep his brothers busy, which kept them away from him. While the lemonade stand kept him busy into his late teens, Richard realized the stand was never going to be big enough to continue on with.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichardEisen1977.jpg

Richard had a tidy sum of money, but nothing that he could use to successfully start his own profitable company. While most of his brothers continued down the path of crime, Richard started researching possible business opportunities that he could capitalise on. Richard would find his opportunity while he was out one night with his brothers. The Eisen boys had gone to a Championship Wrestling from Boston show. Whilst his rowdy brothers cheered on Wild Man Sullivan and Iron Mike Milligan as they pummel each other Richard had an epiphany. Richard realised that wrestling companies never really left their home regions. Championship Wrestling from Boston never left Boston, California Pro Wrestling always ran California. Richard Eisen had discovered a road to his dreams. Richard Eisen was going to open a wrestling company and he was going to be the first wrestling promoter to take over the entire country. All Richard Eisen had to do was convince someone to back his enterprise, and then convince a locker room full or professional wrestlers to sweat and bleed for his vision.

Richard Eisen had set his mind on becoming the first wrestling promoter to run shows across the entire country. All Richard Eisen needed was to get funding and contacts within the wrestling business. Getting contacts in the wrestling business was the easy part, his brothers trained at Gene Plumellis gym where most of the CWB wrestlers trained. Through some contacts at the gym Richard Eisen got in contact with the owner of Texas Wrestling League, Rocky Streets. Rocky Streets had been running TWL for 2 years and things weren’t going well. TWL had been stagnant, despite having some great wrestlers on their roster. Rocky Streets wanted out of Texas. The proposal from Richard Eisen was exactly what Rocky Streets wanted to hear. He liked what Richard Eisen was proposing. Richard offered the chance to be the head booker of what would be the biggest company in America. There was only one problem with Eisens proposal, Richard Eisen had no money. Rocky Streets had contacts all over the wrestling industry and was sure he knew of someone that could fund Eisens fantasy.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RockyStreets_alt.jpg

Streets gave Eisen the number of a man that would love to see the reigning number one promotion in America, American Pro Wrestling Federation, fail. All Richard Eisen had to do was give this man a call and sell his idea. Eisen just had to convince the financial backer that he had what it takes to successfully promote the biggest wrestling company in the country. One phone call would determine the future of Richard Eisen, Rocky Streets and the professional wrestling industry. The phone call that would decide the fate of Richard Eisen went just as it was planned. Richard Eisen had managed to get the financial backing that he needed to begin operations. Richard Eisen had successfully begun his dream company and there was only one thing left to do, name his company. Eisen could only think of one word. Eisen wanted something that would describe everything he wanted his company to be. Richard’s one word would define his company, and the man behind it. Eisen had founded his company. Eisen had founded...

Supreme Wrestling Federation

With financial backing from an anonymous benefactor Richard Eisen opened the Supreme Wrestling Federation in 1972. Rocky Streets sold TWL to The Lone Star Stampeder and left with several key members of the TWL roster. Eisen soon began raiding the territories. California Pro Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Boston and American Pro Wrestling Federation were soon missing their brightest prospects and biggest stars. APWF were probably hit the hardest as Eisen convinced APWF Heavyweight champion Micky Starr to leave without losing his championship. Starr signed the first multi-year written contract in professional wrestling. Eisen had already changed the way the wrestling industry went about its business.

Eisens Supreme Wrestling Federation was riding on a huge wave of momentum and their first event was shown nation-wide on Sports America to rave reviews. Micky Starr won a tournament for the vacant SWF World Heavyweight Title in Supreme’s opening months. The company, lead on screen by Starr would go from strength to strength. The Supreme Wrestling Federation had quickly established itself as a dominant force and the number one wrestling company in America. While almost every regional promotion saw a decline in business, Supreme reigned supreme and saw an increase in business. Richard Eisen could apparently do no wrong. Every business decision he made turned to gold. Rocky Streets could book no wrong. Micky Starr was obviously the most popular wrestler in America and everything that Eisen had dreamed of was seemingly coming to fruition. However everything in Eisens universe wasn’t perfect. There was a skeleton that was ready to emerge from the closet. Eisen had called in a loan when he was establishing Supreme, he had spent more money than he’d earned, and his mystery benefactor was coming to claim his stake...

The enemy of my enemy...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/FrancoLambert.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/APWF.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/TerryLambert.jpg

The Lamberti family had been running American Pro Wrestling Federation since its inception in 1969. Franco Lamberti had used his underworld influence to control the entire Tri-State wrestling scene. He regularly double crossed anyone involved with APWF. Wrestlers weren’t paid, some were made to travel cross country only to be left off the show and tickets were sold for shows that never took place. Franco wasn’t above crossing his family either, his son Terry Lambert often worked free of charge against his will and Franco’s brother Giuseppe lost over $600,000 when Franco took a loan out to save the company in 1969 and instead went to Vegas and lost the lot. The only wrestling company to dare run against APWF in the Tri-State was Harlem Wrestling Alliance, and most of the people at HWA were certifiably insane.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/SWF75.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichardEisen1977.jpg

The Lamberti family ran the most successful promotion in America until Richard Eisen founded Supreme Wrestling Federation. The steel industry also flatlined around the same time, which was a massive blow for Franco. Forced to sell APWF to his son Terry, Franco was left in ruins. He accepted a job offer from Terry and began working as the colour commentator for APWF. Having lost everything Franco wasn’t able to pay back Giuseppe, leaving his brother irate and wanting revenge.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JosephFornell.jpg

Giuseppe was able to exact that revenge when he received a phone call from a young businessman named Richard Eisen in 1971. Eisen had an interesting proposition for Giuseppe. Eisen wanted to found the first national wrestling company. Richard had goals to take over from the regional promotions and run shows across the country, which would see the APWF destroyed. Giuseppe saw this opportunity as a chance to really destroy Franco, by ruining the lives of not only Franco, but of Terry Lambert as well. Giuseppe agreed to back Richard Eisen and his fledgling Supreme Wrestling Federation. Giuseppe opened his wallet to Richard Eisen with an agreement that the APWF would be finished in 5 years.

If Richard Eisen didn’t complete this task, Giuseppe would come to collect the debt, whether Richard had enough funds or not.

Is my friend...

It’s now 1977. 5 years ago I received a phone call from Richard Eisen, wrestling promoter and extraordinaire. The mongrel was only 17 or so when he had the nerve to promise me the world. “Nationalize professional wrestling” he boasted, “Together we can eliminate the regional promotions” he c0ckily bragged. If the little prick was my son I’d be teaching him to watch his mouth and keep his word. Richard must learn that those who want respect give respect. 5 years ago I opened my wallet to Richard Eisen and he began an empire. There was only one catch, and there’s always a catch. Richard had 5 years to eliminate my brother and my nephews wrestling promotion, the American Pro Wrestling Federation.

That time is up, he has failed his task. He’ll have to remember all the good times he had on my dime from now on. Those days will soon be a distant memory. Eisens future will involve my foot and his ass. My tolerance level for people that fail me is minimal and there’s going to be an awful amount of explainin’ to do. I’m coming from the mist to claim my stake in the biggest wrestling promotion in America, whether Richard Eisen likes it or not. There’s one thing about us wise guys, the hustle never ends. There’s always more fun to be had.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JosephFornell.jpg - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichardEisen1977.jpg

Richard:
“You’re coming to claim your debt? Kiss my ass Giuseppe!”

That little bastard. I give him the respect of a courtesy call to let him know I’m moving in and taking over Supreme and he treats me like that. I oughta smack the disrespect straight outta his mouth. I’ve put in all the funds to keep this ship afloat. When Eisen needed a ring, I paid. When Micky Starr was signed to his massive multi-year contract I was the one that paid. Eisen better learn that I own Supreme, not him.

Giuseppe:
“I don’t think you understand Richard. The agreement was set 5 years ago. Terry and Franco Lambert are still promoting shows. You’ve failed the task that was set and you knew there would be consequences. I’m coming for my share Richard. I’ll be there in two days.”

Richard:
“You won’t get near me or Supreme Lamberti, I can guarantee that. I own Supreme, I’ve put in all the blood sweat and tears. You’ve merely sat in the background.”

Giuseppe:
“Don’t you forget who allowed you to get where you are Eisen. You’re not invincible, I’ll get to you.
Once you're a part of this family, there's only one way of getting out!

I slammed the phone down. I’ve said my piece and now’s the time for action. I understand that Eisen won’t roll over and hand me Supreme, but it’s inevitable. I own Supreme, I’ve bankrolled the entire promotion since its inception. Whether Richard Eisen is around to see me take over Supreme is another story.

ooooo..... I'm a newbie to the cornellverse 70's but I've gotta say that I'm crazy interested in this one. Plus, the Richard Eisen alt is absolutely perfect. Kinda looks like a 70's porn star or something. ha.

I'll be reading.

Cheers.

E-V

It's definitely one of those alts that sticks out as being awesome. There's plenty of more alts like that in the database so I'll keep em coming.

Yay! A dynasty involving Giuseppe. I'll be quietly following, as I do with all 70's mod dynasties.

All thanks to the awesome data set dude. There's a whole lot of things that can be done with Giuseppe. Playing to his underworld ties could lead to some interesting places as well, might have to see how these things pan out.

great writing, love to see the drama play out and richard end up losing the SWF. :p

Which will be quicker than you think, I don't think Giuseppe will take the slow route to corporate takeover.

Thanks for the comments guys.

The Hostile Takeover...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichardEisen1977.jpg

Richard Eisen had been noticing the cars that followed him wherever he went. He noticed the shady characters peering over their newspapers in every public place he went to. Richard Eisen had noticed the feint clicking sound that happened on seemingly every telephone he used. Richard Eisen was no fool, he knew Giuseppe Lamberti was watching, wanting to know his every move. Eisen knew Lamberti wouldn’t stop until the debt had been paid. Richard Eisen knew he didn’t have the kind of money Lamberti wanted. There was no way to raise that kind of funding in the timeframe Lamberti had given. Richard Eisen saw the writing on the wall, he knew he was screwed. There was only one thing to do. Go to ground and lay low for a few days. Hopefully his brothers can keep Lamberti at bay and buy Richard some time.

Richard: “Rocky, look, I’m in trouble. Giuseppe wants his loan repaid and I have no way of getting the kind of money I’ve spent. Supreme may be successful, but it took a boatload of money to get it to where it is. I’ll be gone for a few weeks, take care of Supreme”

Rocky: “OK boss, I’d go pay someone to take care of Giuseppe, much cheaper than paying him back if you owe him that much.”

Richard: “Things won’t go that far Rocky, I’ll just have to tell Giuseppe to wait, he’ll have no choice. Take care Rocky, see you soon.”

Rocky: “Bye Richard, and take care.”

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JosephFornell.jpg

It’s been two days since I’d given Eisen notice that I’d be taking over the Supreme Wrestling Federation. I’d heard the phone taps from the dive hotel he was staying in and they made me even angrier. It wasn’t hard to find where Eisen had been hiding out. While he’s been a great business man and wrestling promoter he’s terrible at laying low. He didn’t even use an alias when he checked into his hotel room. For a guy that’s been running a nationwide company for 5 years he shows a total ineptitude when it comes to the shadier side of business. Which is surprising considering the length I’ve seen his brothers go through to remain hidden.

I’ve bought two goons with me, incase Eisen’s brothers are there to protect him. We drove into the parking lot of the motel around 11pm. The yard was empty, I’m guessing that no one stays in a dump like this mid week very often. We walked past the green algae filled pool and heading upstairs to the room Eisen is hiding in. His brothers must have left him high and dry, there was no one on the door which makes things nice and quiet for us. The hired help smash through the hotel door and begin to ‘subdue’ Eisen. I’ll let your imagination run wild with how subdued Eisen really is.

Giuseppe:
“Nice to finally meet in person Richard. I’m Giuseppe Lamberti and you owe me a rather large sum of money. I’m here to collect Richard. I warned you. When we first signed our agreement 5 years ago you knew exactly what was required of you. I was happy to watch you spend my money as long as my demands were met. All you had to do was destroy the APWF. I wanted my brother to feel true pain as his immediate family was booted out onto the street. I wanted him to know that it was me and you that destroyed him. That was all that had to take place Richard. It really wasn’t much to ask, a few dirty tricks here and there, some extortion and blackmail to get you ahead. That was all that was required. This should’ve been an easy task for someone of your calibre. Despite the situation we find ourselves in I like and respect you Richard. You’ve taken my money and your smarts and made the biggest wrestling company in America. I respect that. If you had showed me the same respect I doubt you’d be in your predicament. We’d be discussing this like men over a drink of port”

Richard:
“mhmhmmmmmhmhhphmhmmhhm”

Giuseppe:
“I understand you’re worried about all you’ve worked for Richard. Frankly I don’t really care. You’ll hand over control of Supreme to me or your body will never be found. When you decide to hand Supreme over to me you’ll be kept on as a puppet owner. You’ll complete all your usual tasks, but I’ll be there to take control of any matter I feel like it. This is not up for negotiation Richard. Not a whole lot will change, you just won’t have complete control anymore and I’ll always be there. I’m going to remove that tape from your mouth, if you have any questions feel free to speak up now...”

I removed the tape from Richards’s mouth. Richard Eisen hocked back and spat directly in my face. I can’t believe the balls of the kid. Disrespect like that will not go unpunished. I’d shown nothing but respect to Eisen and was getting nothing in return.

Giuseppe:
“Salv, hand me the tin snips. Richard here is going to be taught a lesson.”

You could cut the tension in the room with a knife, or tin snips for that matter. Richard’s eyes widened when he realised that I was serious and they grew even larger when he realised Salv actually had a pair of snips in his back pocket. The moment was over in a flash. Richard let out a blood curling scream. The scream didn’t stop either, if anything it got worse. Salv had the task of shutting Eisen up after his situation and it surprisingly didn’t take him long to have Eisen quiet. I paced around the room getting angrier and angrier at the situation Richard has forced us into.

Giuseppe:
“I demand respect Richard. You’re not giving me any. There's more where that came from, we're starting a new regime around here. This is the last time I’ll be telling you this, I’m moving in Richard. You’re going to sign over the Supreme Wrestling Federation to me. You’re going to tell all of your friends and employees that I made you an offer you couldn’t refuse. You’ll stay on as a puppet and run the everyday business of the Supreme Wrestling Federation. You’ll like it, and you’ll keep your mouth shut. Do you understand me Richard?”

Eisen slowly nodded, clearly upset by the news he was getting, or maybe he was in shock, probably shock. He understood what was happening to him and it was clear. I’d taken over. The Supreme Wrestling Federation was mine. It’s now time to finish what Richard Eisen couldn’t. APWF will soon be nothing more than a footnote in history. I’ll send my brother and nephew to the slums. Those two are lost to me and I’m still undecided on Richard. He’ll have to earn his respect before he gets any leeway around here. Richard may not realise it yet, but I own him. I own his company and I own his soul.

Eisen is now officially a part of the family and once you’re in, there’s no getting out.

The General Meeting

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/SWF75.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichardEisen1977.jpg

Richard Eisen had called a meeting for all Supreme Wrestling Federation employees. Most Supreme employees were in attendance, from Micky Starr right down to Phil the camera guy. Eisen was bandaged up, which would later become a hot topic of discussion for all Supreme employees. Supreme workers could tell that Eisen was clearly not himself. He sat on a chair in the corner of the room. He was distant and brief, which I’d learnt was a far cry from the normally focused and busy Richard Eisen. Rocky Streets was the first person to ask who I was. He knew exactly who I was, and I’m sure he knew exactly why I was here. Richard snapped at Rocky as soon as he asked the question and a stunned Rocky Streets quickly turned around and sat down with his boys, Sid and Dusty. Eisen left his chair and stood in front of his workforce as a hush overcame the room.

Eisen:
“Boys, I’m not going to fluff this up at all. There’s no point with small talk. I’m a straight shooter, always have and always will be.”

Most of the boys just nodded along. Despite his reputation Eisen has always been upfront with his workers. He kept them in the loop. It wasn’t until relationships became strained that Eisen would resort to screwing people over.

Eisen:
“My injuries took place when I took a bad fall down some stairs. I want no further questions about it. I’m still here and ready to work. I’ll always be here. I built this company from the ground up and there’s no chance that a little injury would take me away from Supreme. That being said, I’ve had an impressive offer to sell Supreme to an old friend of mine.”

The buzz around the room was almost instantaneous. Rocky Streets just glared a hole through Eisen, undoubtedly anticipating getting screwed in the future and losing his job. Richard began motioning that his employees should be quiet and the buzz died down.

Eisen:
“I’ve decided to sell Supreme to Mr Giuseppe Lamberti. Now I’m sure you’ve all heard the name before. Giuseppe has relatives in the wrestling business. Mr Lamberti is Terry Lambert’s uncle and Franco’s brother.”

There was a definite tension in the room now. Most Supreme employees had no idea what was going on. The mention of Terry and Franco bought up some strange ideas in some people’s heads. The reputation of my family precedes me. I’d later find out that Rick Rumble was convinced we’d be merging companies. Richie Pangrazzio Jr. thought Terry was becoming the new owner of Supreme. Sid Streets was under the impression both companies were going to fold and everyone would scatter. I could feel the glare of most Supreme employees. I imagine that this was like being on trial. I’ve never committed a crime, so I’ll never go on trial, but I’d imagine this is the same feeling a defendant would feel.

-
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/SidStreets.jpg

Eisen:
“I’ll get this out in the open right now, while Giuseppe owns Supreme, I run Supreme. Nothing will change around here except the name on the cheques. We will not be merging with anyone, if anything it will be the opposite. I’ll hand things over to Giuseppe, you can all hear what he’s got planned”

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JosephFornell.jpg

Giuseppe:
“Hello Gentleman. As Richard said I’m Giuseppe Lamberti. I know some of you from my days around APWF and I’m sure anyone here that knows me will know how different I am from the rest of my family. Don’t get any ideas that Supreme will be turning upside down because Richard Eisen isn’t the boss any more. Richard will still be running everything around here, and like he said I just sign the checks. Rocky, you’ll still be planning the show along with Richard. You’ll still have input into the running of Supreme. I won’t be changing anything around here, except one thing. I know there’s a few of you working for Gene Plumelli at Championship Wrestling from Boston and a few working for California Pro Wrestling with Preston Holt. You’ll soon be forced to choose between them and us. After discussions with Richard we’ve decided that we’re aiming to be the only wrestling promotion in America. We refuse to have our guys and girls treated like second rate wrestlers in other promotions. We’ll be going to war with every wrestling company in America. You’re all here because you’re the best of the best. You’ve all got redeeming qualities that have bought you to the big league. If you have any problems then you can leave right now, we won’t hold that against you. I hope you all have a good show tonight, break a leg”

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RockyStreets_alt.jpg

Rocky:
“Giuseppe! First things first, don’t ever say those three words at Supreme again. Richard told Ace McQueen to break a leg a few months back and what happens? He tears out his knee. Those words, never again. We won’t tolerate it.”

Giuseppe:
“In that case Rocky, good luck tonight, break a leg.”

And I walked out of the meeting. There was nothing left to say. I’m not taking orders from Rocky Streets. Rocky Streets is at the bottom of the ladder as far as I’m concerned. He’ll soon be off the creative team, that I can guarantee. As I left the meeting I quietly told Richard that I needed a rundown of what was going on tonight in my office within the hour. As I sat and relaxed Richard charged into my office and threw a napkin on my desk.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichardEisen1977.jpg - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JosephFornell.jpg

Eisen:
“There’s your damn rundown, don’t ever treat those boys like that again. Defy them and you’ll lose everything. They make this company great, they make the money, not you.”

Giuseppe:
“Richard, do you think I’m here for money. You really don’t understand the situation if you think this is about money. Get the hell out of my office Richard, I’ll call on you later on to go over your plans.”

Richard stormed out of my office. I read his quick overview of tonight’s show. Here’s the rundown.

I’ll worry about the show, you keep the money flowing

That c0cky young bastard. I’ll make sure he pays for this.

An Arrival Party

I heard a knock on my door. It was Edmund Jackson, a former friend from APWF. Edmund had grown sick of Terry’s ego and the way APWF is run. Richard gave Edmund a job almost instantly, which shows Eisen has an eye for talent. Jackson had his hands full, two bottles of vodka in one hand and a 4 pack of beers in the other.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/EdmondJackson.jpg

Jackson:
“Welcome to Supreme Giuseppe, I see you’re finally looking to ruin Terry. I’m on board for that, but I’m here on business.”

Giuseppe:
“Nice to see a familiar face here Ed. How’d the boys handle the news from the meeting?”

Jackson:
“Most of them don’t mind, they only work for Supreme anyway. Me on the other hand, I also work for California Pro. I like working here more, but there is only one reason I stay there. Jason works there and wrestling with him for the past few years has really bought us closer. I don’t wanna give that up G. I’d hate to ask, but any chance we could both find a home here?”

Giuseppe:
“Consider it done Edmund. We’ll bring your boy over here to Supreme and see just how well you’ve trained him, Don’t tell Richard about this though, I’ll give you both written contract like Starr has got, how does that sound?”

Jackson:
“We go way back Giuseppe, sounds good to me”

Giuseppe:
“Thanks Edmund, bring Jason over whenever he’s available. Give Preston Holt a week or two to find replacements, we’ll keep this war civil.”

We got up and shook hands. There’s the first two contracts signed by the new Supreme. Hopefully the first of many.

Bob Johnson – Chaim Silverman

Bob Johnson:
“Ladies and gentleman welcome to the Supreme Wrestling Federation. I’m Bob Johnson and sitting beside me is Chaim Silverman.”

Chaim Silverman:
“Welcome to Supreme people, where the big guns come out to play.”

Bob Johnson:
“We’ve got a bumper night in store folks, as fan favourite Teddy Flame faces off against one of Ares’ Titans, Black Jack.”

Chaim Silverman:
“There’s no way that one of the Blazing Flames could pick of one of Ares’ Titans. I don’t care how red their hair is.”

Bob Johnson:
“Well that’s your opinion Chaim, We’ve also got young Richie Pangrazzio Jr facing off against Jason Jackson, the son of Edmond Jackson. RPJ is looking to humiliate the young Jackson as payback for the beating he took a few weeks ago courtesy of Jackson Sr.”

Chaim Silverman:
“Jackson Sr is nothing but a grizzled veteran grasping at the past. Richie Junior will eliminate Edmond’s future as well. He’s got the perfect plan, I love that kid.”

Bob Johnson:
“It’s time for our first matchup, with the evil serviceman Corporal Doom taking on Sid ‘The Kid’ Streets.”

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/CorporalDoom1977.jpg w/ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/GeneralKaos.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/CorporalPunishment.jpg vs http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/SidStreets-1.jpg

Corporal Doom w/ Captain Kaos and Private Punishment vs Sid Streets

Corporal Doom enters the McGaw Arena flanked by The Doom Company. The three make an intimidating image as they head to the ring. The crowd’s jeers soon turn to cheers as Sid ‘The Kid’ Streets enter the arena. Sid wastes no time as he dashes under the ropes and takes it to the larger Doom, trying to catch him by surprise. The scrappy Streets won’t let up and keeps the momentum on his side as he out wrestles Doom at every turn. It was only a matter of time before the size advantage of Doom played into the match as Doom catches Streets with a devastating clothesline. Doom imposes his will on the youngest member of the Streets family, occasionally distracting the ref and allowing The Doom Company to attack Streets. Corporal Doom felt the end was near and attempted to finish the match when Sid Streets suddenly caught a second wind. Sid started to mount a comeback and gain momentum as he began to return to his recent winning ways. Using his new found energy Sid attempted his Dream Street finisher and seeing that Corporal Doom may be in trouble it wasn’t long until Captain Kaos and Private Punishment jumped Streets. Referee Jeff Hanson was forced to call the DQ, giving Sid Streets the win.

Winner: Sid Streets via DQ

C

Bob Johnson:
“And the Doom Company saves their leader from what would be a sure upset. Damn them!”

Chaim Silverman:
“You’ve gotta question where the Streets clan is, Sid’s out here all by himself which isn’t a position anyone would want to be in. Rocky and Dusty where art thou?”

The Doom Company Attack

The Doom Company didn’t stop attacking Sid ‘The Kid’ Streets after the match was finished. Referee Jeff Hanson tried to pull Private Punishment off Streets but was simply pushed aside as the three heavyweights continued their assault. Sid mounted a comeback, but the numbers were too much for the smallest Street. All three Doom Company members took turns in attacking Streets as the others taunted the crowd. When Corporal Doom was happy with the damage The Doom Company had inflicted he called them off and headed backstage leaving Sid Streets down and out in the center of the ring.

Chaim Silverman:
“Why would Rocky and Dusty leave Sid out here all alone?”

Bob Johnson:
“I’m being told Dusty and Rocky Streets have missed their flight into New York, The Doom Company must’ve known this and used the situation to benefit them, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Damn them!”

The One Percent Challenge

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/MayhemMidden.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/TheNightRider.jpg

We cut backstage to a stank dark room where Mayhem Midden and The Night Rider, The One Percent’ are sitting at a table. Both men look relaxed, feet on the table in front of them as they play a game of poker. Upon noticing they have company they simultaneously get up off their chairs and stand over the camera. Both strike intimidating figures as the camera has to pan up to see both men. Mayhem Midden looks particularly intense as he stands over the camera.

Mayhem Midden:
“WE BEAT THE MOUSTACHE DREAM TEAM THE LAST TIME WE FOUGHT!”

Mayhem Midden moves closer to the camera, seemingly trying to stare down the Moustache Dream Team through the lens.

Mayhem Midden:
“TONIGHT I’LL CONTINUE TO INFLICT TORTURE ON THE MOUSTACHE BRIGADE. TONIGHT, BURT SELLECK WILL HAVE HIS MOUSTACHE TORN CLEAR OFF!”

The Night Rider
: “GET READY TO BURN RUBBER BABY! WE’LL UNLEASH ALL OUR HORSEPOWER ONTO THE DREAM TEAM, THEY DON’T STAND A CHANCE.”

The camera sheepishly backs out of the room, leaving Midden and Night Rider breathing heavily and looking angry.

B

Chaim Silverman:
“99% of bikers are model citizens, then there’s the other ‘One Percent’. Ladies and gentlemen, look at Mayhem Midden and The Night R....”

The Dream Team Attack

Before the camera can leave the room four boots jump clear over it and attack Mayhem Midden and the Night Rider. The two men slam ‘The One Percent’ around the room, into walls, into floors and into the solid table in the center of the room. When the two men have finished attacking ‘The One Percent’ they turn around and face the camera. Both men had the most wonderful moustaches above their lips and their identity was unmistakable. Burt Selleck and Wade Morris, The Moustache Dream Team, had just assaulted Mayhem Midden and The Night Rider.

C-

Chaim Silverman:
“People, those are impressive moustaches.”

Bob Johnson:
“They’ve got nothing on your beard though Chaim, how long did it take to grow that thing?”

Chaim Silverman:
“Baby I was born this way”

Bob Johnson:
“Up next is ‘One Percent’ Mayhem Midden taking on ‘The Magic Moustache’ Burt Selleck."

Burt Selleck w/ Wade Morris vs Mayhem Midden w/ The Night Rider

The Moustache Dream Team enter to a roaring ovation, the Ney York City crowd clearly approve of the ‘stache. The reception for ‘The One Percent’ is less cheer and more boo, although most of the fans in the front rows are too scared to openly boo the heavyweight bikers. Bert and Midden don’t waste any time, both men immediately begin to whale on each other. Midden wins out on sheer ferocity, clearly furious about the earlier assault carried out by the Moustache Dream Team. Midden channels this anger to inflict as much pain as he can. The Night Rider approves at ringside, constantly yelling praise at Midden. “Crack it open” “He’s a sissy bar” and “Knucklehead, put your knuckles on his head” were the notable praises coming from ringside. Burt Selleck was seemingly unconscious when Midden went for his ‘Panhead Surprise’ a hellacious punch made all the more deadly by the addition of brass knuckles. Rider had the referee distracted, but Wade Morris managed to slide under the rope and hit ‘The Trimmer’. This gave Selleck the opportunity to mount his comeback. Selleck went on the offense and began to punch his way back into the match. Night Rider jumps up on the apron and attempts to punch Selleck in the face as he’s whipped towards him, but a reversal from Selleck send Midden crashing into Night Rider. Selleck rolls up Midden for the win, courtesy of The Night Rider.

Winner: Burt Selleck

Bob Johnson:
“The Night Rider cost Mayhem Midden the match, shows that dirty tricks don’t always pay off kids.”

Chaim Silverman:
“But they’re loads of fun, Bob.”

Bob Johnson:
“Ask Mayhem Midden if he’s having fun, Chaim.”

A Godly Challenge

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/AresAegaleus.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/HagarErikson.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/BlackJack.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/DixieDiamond.jpg

Ares Aegaleus enters the arena to a massive chorus of boos. He’s flanked by the enormous Ares’ Titans. The Titans would have to be amongst the largest wrestlers in Supreme, Black Jack would be the smallest of the Titans and he’s considered huge compared to any normal man. The three stare into the crowd with contempt, clearly not happy with the reception they’re getting. The Titans follow Ares to the ring, stopping whenever he stops to intimidate youngsters in the crowd. They never got ahead of Ares, clearly showing that he’s the top dog in the Titans. The Three behemoths enter the ring and keep up their intimidating demeanour. Hagar shows some form of humanity by lowering the ropes to allow Dixie Diamond to enter the ring.

Ares Aegaleus:
“If there’s one thing I learnt from last week, and admittedly the last few months guiding the Titans is
NEVER SEND A MAN TO DO A GOD’S WORK!

Ares gets in the face of Black Jack.

Ares Aegaleus:
“I mentored you, treated you like a son. I taught you everything you know, lead you to be near the top of the SWF mountain. All that stood in your way was Micky Starr. One man left to topple. That was all that you had left to do. YOU FAILED! You insignificant little bug. You failed your god and have never been the same. I’m disappointed Jack, you never lived up to my expectations.”

Ares quickly turned his attention to Hagar Erikson

Ares Aegaleus:
“Hagar, my child. You were my greatest accomplishment. A true all round force of the gods. You stood clear above the rest. Graced with the power of an ox and the quickness of a fox you were my masterpiece. I sent you to topple the illustrious Micky Starr. You were everything Black Jack was and more. Micky Starr should not have been any match for you. I had high hopes. I had high hopes for you Hagar and, like Black Jack before you, you failed miserably. I gave you all the tools, strength, power, speed, brains and the beautiful Dixie Diamond and you still fell in a heap when facing Micky Starr.”

Ares turns to Dixie Diamond, smiles, and strokes her chin.

Ares Aegaleus:
“You’re beautiful Dixie, everything you did was perfection. Thank you”

Ares turned and snarled at the crowd

Ares Aegaleus:
“The time of sending men to do God’s work is over. If you want something done the best way is to do it yourself. Eliminating Micky Starr is priority number one. I’m no longer sending insignificant minions to topple Micky Starr. Your ‘Greek God’, Ares Aegaleus, is coming out of retirement. I’ve sent the best a God can muster and they weren’t good enough. I’m not relying on my Titans again. I’m personally going to beat Micky Starr and become SWF Heavyweight Champion. While I was sending my Titans I was missing the point. The Titans weren’t there to be guided by me, I was made to lead by example. With the Titans by my side I’ll be unbeatable. No longer will ‘The Greek God’ Ares Aegaleus stand behind a Titan. The Titans will stand behind me. They’ll stand behind me at the next SWF event, King of the Squared Circle.

You all heard right. I’m challenging Micky Starr to a World Heavyweight Title match at King of the Squared Circle. Come out here and accept your Doom Starr, we all know it’s inevitable.”

Ares turns his way to the entrance ramp, awaiting a response from SWF World Heavyweight Champion Micky Starr.

The Champion’s Reply

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/MickyStarr1977.jpg

It didn’t take long for SWF Heavyweight Champion Micky Starr to enter the McGaw Arena. The fans went wild for the reigning champion as he soaked up the attention.

Micky Starr:
“Ares Aegaleus, you big lug of a man, I think that’s the best idea I’ve heard all week. I can picture no better way to pull a thorn out of my side that’s been there far too long. May a better God bless you Ares, you’ll need it to beat me at King of the Squared Circle. I’m going to knock you off of this planet, and sent you back into retirement. Thank you America.”

A quick response that was right to the point, classic Micky Starr. The fans ate it up, but before Micky Starr could leave he was interrupted by an old friend....

B+

I’ll take that challenge

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/PowerhousePatterson.jpg

Powerhouse Patterson suddenly entered the McGaw Arena and stood beside an obviously confused Micky Starr. There two former friends haven’t been close since Patterson turned on Starr and challenged for the SWF Heavyweight Title.

Powerhouse Patterson:
“Ares, you’re reign of terror will end at King of the Squared Circle when you lose to my good friend, Micky Starr.”

Patterson tries to raise the arm of Starr, but Starr snatches his wrist and steps away from Patterson, clearly mouthing “what are you doing here?”

Ares Aegaleus:
“Starr is right Patterson, what in Hades are you doing out here before my eyes?”

Powerhouse Patterson:
“It’s real simple Ares, I’ve got a lot of trust to build back up with my man Micky Starr here. I betrayed him a few months ago and am looking to make it up, tonight. We’re going to fight tonight Ares, one on one, Ares Aegaleus vs Powerhouse Patterson.”

Ares' anger grew when the match was suggested, although that quickly turned to a calm arrogance.

Ares Aegaleus:
“Main event tonight then. ‘The Greek God’ Ares Aegaleus vs Powerhouse Patterson. I swear on Mount Olympus that I’ll crush you into dust.”

Powerhouse Patterson:
“We’ll see about that, Ares. See you later tonight.”

Patterson turned to get the approval of Starr, which he clearly didn’t have. Starr just shook his head as both men headed backstage.

B

Bob Johnson:
“Powerhouse Patterson may have bitten off more than he can chew, he’ll have to watch out for himself tonight.”

Chaim Silverman:
“Ares is probably the strongest man in Supreme, he’s a god, so Powerhouse Patterson will surely lose tonight.”

The coach with the most

Backstage, standing in front of a purple suede cloth is none other than SWF United States Champion Richie Pangrazzio Jr. Holding a microphone beside him is Coach Dick Pangrazzio, Richie’s father.

Coach:
“Hey, you, on the couch, prepare to see what the future looks like. Prepare to see what the seed of my loins can accomplish. Prepare to see the best of the best. Prepare to see Richie Pangrazzio Jr take on Edmond Jackson at King of the Squared Circle. You have a few weeks to prepare for the future. Tonight we will look into the future of both Edmond Jackson and myself. Tonight my son will take on the son of Edmond Jackson. Tonight Richie Pangrazzio Jr will take on young Jason Jackson. Tonight my son will eliminate the future of Edmond Jackson.”

Coach Dick Pangrazzio hands the microphone over to his son, Riche Pangrazzio Jr.

Richie Pangrazzio Jr:
“And that’s that, chumps.”

Both men walk out of view.

‘New School’ Jason Jackson w/ Edmond Jackson vs Richie Pangrazzio Jr w/ Coach Dick Pangrazzio

King of the Squared Circle Qualifier

Richie Pangrazzio has way with the crowd, his ‘you are all here to see me’ shtick really gets under the skin of the fans. His father constantly yelling “HEY!” doesn’t make the crowd like him any more. ‘New School’ Jason Jackson entered the McGaw Arena accompanied by his father, ‘Old School’ Edmond Jackson. The fans are behind Jackson Sr and therefore behind Jackson Jr by default. The fans eagerly awaiting the two to begin, waiting to see if Jackson Jr was anywhere near as good as Jackson Sr. While Jackson Jr had his moments it was clear from the start that at 21 years old, Richie Pangrazzio Jr has more experience than 19 year old Jackson Jr. Richie seemingly had a reply for everything Jackson Jr could muster. Richie Pangrazzio Jr gets the win after hitting his ‘Chosen Driver’ and scoring the pinfall.

Winner and moving on in the King of the Squared Circle competition: Richie Pangrazzio Jr

D+

Bob Johnson:
“The slight experience advantage that Richie has helped him there. He moves on in the ‘King of the Squared Circle’ tournament.”

Chaim Silverman:
“It really did, and I think he’s going back for more...”

Adding Insult To Injury

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/RichiePangrazzioJr_alt.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/CoachDickPangrazzio.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/jasonjackson.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/EdmondJackson.jpg

Riche Pangrazzio Jr wasn’t finished after pinning Jason Jackson. Richie knelt over the fallen Jason Jackson and began pummelling away at the face of the youngster. Edmond Jackson tried to slide under the rope and stop Richie, but Coach Dick Pangrazzio had a hold of Edmonds foot. Richie pummelled away as Edmond Jackson looked on, unable to get Coach Dick off his foot. Edmond was eventually able to kick Coach Dick in the face and get loose, but the damage was done. Riche Jr quickly fled the ring once Edmond was free, looking pleased with the damage he’d inflicted to both Jacksons.

A Blazing Flames Video

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/TeddyFlame.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JoeyFlame.jpg

A quick hype video was played hyping The Blazin’ Flames, Teddy and Joey Flame. The two Flame brothers have been a considerable force in the Supreme tag rankings since their debut. The team are easily one of the most exciting teams in the world and their underdog status has been quickly erased with the advent of the ‘hot’ tag to Joey Flame. Highlights show Joey Flame dicing off the top rope onto Black Jack and Ace McQueen, their most notable rivals. Highlights also showed the double kick from the top rope taken by Ace McQueen, Teddy Flame nipping up and surprising Corporal Doom with a clothesline and the pair holding the SWF Tag Team Championships.

Bob Johnson:
“Teddy Flame up against an old rival, Black Jack, is up next”

Teddy Flame vs Black Jack

These two are no strangers, having fought numerous times in the tag rankings. Many don’t think the long term feud between The Flames and Deadly Gamble is far from over. Deadly Gamble, the team of Black Jack and the injured Ace McQueen, have never beaten The Blazin’ Flames for the Tag Team Titles. Many inside Supreme are sure that does not sit well with Deadly Gamble, who are looking to ‘go all in’ should the Blazin’ Flames dethrone Dusty and Sid Streets. The match didn’t go as smoothly as Black Jack had hoped. Joey Flame accompanied Teddy to the ring and the Joey sure made an impact to the ending of the match. Black Jack was clearly missing Ace McQueen being in his corner, as Joey was able to provide distractions and be an unchecked irritating force at ringside. Joey was able to trip up Black Jack on numerous occasions, was able to get the crowd to rally behind Teddy and also distracted referee Jeff Hanson while Black Jack had a pinfall that lasted about 8 seconds. Black Jack, clearly irritated by Joey Flame went outside the ring and chased him around, which led to Teddy diving from inside the ring and totally wiping out Black Jack. Joey and Teddy rolled Black Jack back into the ring, Teddy climbed the turnbuckle and hit his Blazin’ Elbow for the shock pinfall victory.

Winner: Teddy Flame

Chaim Silverman:
“Black Jack is clearly missing his tag team partner Ace McQueen, watch out SWF tag teams when those two re-unite.”

Bob Johnson:
“That will cause some headaches for a lot of teams Chaim.”

Main Event

Ares Aegaleus vs Powerhouse Patterson

Ares struck an intimidating lone figure as he stood on the entrance ramp, which is an unusual site for the SWF crowd. Power Patterson entered the arena trying to garner more cheers from the crowd, but the SWF crowd rarely forgive someone turning on Micky Starr gave a whimper instead. Patterson entered the ring and was immediately met with a running big boot from Ares Aegaleus. In an unusual site for SWF fans Powerhouse Patterson barely got in any offense as he was outclassed by Ares Aegaleus across the board. Ares showed his class, ‘godliness’ as he would call it, as he out fought and overpowered Patterson at every turn. It was only a matter of time before Ares hit his ‘Olympus Slam’ for the obligatory pinfall victory. Ares stood over the fallen Powerhouse Patterson as SWF Sunday Slamfest went off the air.

Winner: Ares Aegaleus

D+

Bob Johnson:
“Ares Aegaleus has proven his point here tonight, Chaim. He deserves his shot against Micky Starr at ‘King of the Squared Circle’."

Chaim Silverman:
“He’s been a force in professional wrestling since Micky Starr was in diapers Bob, of course he deserves his shot.”

Bob Johnson:
“And that shot will take place at ‘King of the Squared Circle’. Tickets are still on sale, check where tickets are sole. That’s all we have here tonight, on behalf of Chaim Silverman and myself, goodbye.”

Was it worth it?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/JosephFornell.jpg

I sat behind my desk contemplating if showing up on the night of a Sunday Slamfest show was really the right thing to do. Judging by the quality of the show it wasn’t a wise decision. I may have rattled a few cages with my arrival and thrown off everyone involved with the show. If that’s the case then to bad, I’m not going anywhere. People must begin to realise that I own Supreme and if things don’t turn around I’ll sell off the damn company to the highest bidder. Richard Eisen must learn that I’m the boss and if his team doesn’t perform there’ll be serious consequences.

No one around here is irreplaceable. Everyone around here must learn that.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/BrickFantana.jpg

Brick Fantana was the first victim of my rage. It seems Brick received an offer to go work a few shows with Harlem Wrestling Alliance and the blundering idiot took the job, choosing to work there instead of coming to work on ‘Sunday Slamfest’. I had no problem with Brick Fantana, that was until he directly defied my policy on working for other companies. Brick Fantana may wake up staring into the eyes of a dead goat. I won't accept employees going against my words. It’s time to show everyone that I won’t be messed with, Brick Fantana will be made an example of...

Everyone will learn it's my way or the highway...

WHERE IS BRICK FANTANA?story by Glenn Pringle

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/bretter_person/SWF/whereisBrickFantana.jpg

S
ince being fired from the Supreme Wrestling Federation friends and family of Brick Fantana have grown increasingly worried over the past few days as Brick is nowhere to be found. The Wrestlepage Gazette has learnt that Brick Fantana was last seen drinking himself into a stupor at a local watering hole, 'The Bat Outta Hell'. Brick left the local tavern accompanyed by two large men. Some witnesses have reported that one of the large men was seen carrying a large cutting instrument that was protruding from his back pocket. The local authorities have issued the below statement:
"We have no current knowledge of the whereabouts of professional wrestler 'Brick Fantana'. Anyone with any information should contact police on the following number - 555 1234- We are currently looking for a black limosuine that was seen leaving the vicinity of the alleged abduction. Again, if you were the the 'Bat Outta Hell' tavern and believe you may have information that will lead to the whereabouts of Brick Fantana then please come forward"

Supreme Wrestling officials are said to be extremely worried about Brick Fantana. According to one SWF insider Brick has been 'acting out of character lately and making weird decisions'. Wreslepage could not get in contact with new SWF owner Giuseppe Lamberti, although Lamberti could very well be the last person to have had a conversation with Brick Fantana.

Great, Brick Fantana goes missing and I'm the name that's mentioned as being the last man to see him. I do not like drawing attention, especially when I'm the man that's meant to be sending a message. The family of Brick Fantana have absolutely nothing to worry about, brick will return to the unharmed when he's good and ready. I'm making an example. I'm sure that word of mouth about the disapperance of Brick will make the rounds through most wrestling companies and I know there'll be avid speculation of my involvement. Sometimes you must show your hand and garner some unwanted attention for the short term to become more successful in the long term. Nothing will happen to Brick Fantana physically. He'll be returned in much better conditions than when he was 'abducted'.

Mentally....well.....that's another story

What are Ares's stats? He's a guy I hear a lot about, and I got him mixed up with Skull DeBones (who was...Ares at one point, right?)

He's a average brawler with excellent entertainment/performance skills and an awesome look. He's a member of the '77 and '97 data's Hall of Immortals, although no mention of him in the default database. Definetly not Skull DeBones, although Skull does go by the Ares name.

Great show, despite the *ouch* D in the main event. I really like the character you've captured with Ares...seems to fit him perfectly.

That main event rating sucked, actualy hurt our popularity overall with it. Glad to hear you like Ares, he's definetly a cornetstone of Supreme during this peroid. I've had a blast writing him, so it's good to hear that's coming across.
