TCW vs. DaVE? Definitely a cool storyline, I'm curious to see where it goes altogether.

TCW PRESENTS TOTAL WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 4 January 2010

Location: The V. Thompson Arena (South West)

Attendance: 10,000

Overall Rating: B

TV Rating: 5.23

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt11.jpg

[Our Total Wrestling show this week begins with the howl of a wolf and out comes a man who fans think has a lot of explaining to do in Wolf Hawkins. Wolf moves down the center of the aisle to avoid letting the fans touch him. He threatens a fan and then continues his way down to the ring, climbing the stairs and then climbing inside. He asks for and is given a microphone. He moves to the center of the ring and pauses, absorbing in the boos from the crowd.]

Wolf Hawkins

"Boo me all you want but at the end of the day you all know that I am better than you."

[The boos only increase with that statement. Wolf gives an arrogant smile toward the camera, tipping his shades slightly up and then back down.]

Wolf Hawkins

"At the end of the day, I am the one who is stepping inside this ring making a living for myself. Each and every one of you would trade places with me in an instant if you had the opportunity but you'll never be as talented as me. You'll never be as good-looking as me. You'll never be as smart as me. That is just a fact. Now, let me turn my focus to my mentor. Tommy, Tommy, Tommy. Last week, I gave you some free advice. I told you to just stay away from Nemesis and his Army. I told you not to bother with that little group. But you didn't listen to me, Tommy. You have always had a selective hearing but this time it put you in the hospital. Next time it just might put you in the morgue. Maybe this will teach you that this is not your universe, Tommy. This is not the Cornellverse. This is the real world. So it's time for me to step out from under your shadow, Tommy. It's time for me to become my own man. It's time for me to become a lone wolf. With you in the hospital, I can do that. So, please, don't hurry back."

[Wolf flashes that arrogant smile to the crowd, who boo him vehemently. As Wolf raises the microphone again, he is interrupted by some very familiar music.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpg

[The crowd goes absolutely wild at the presence of Ricky Dale Johnson! The Texas Cowboy high fives some fans though he is not 100% to say the least. He is slow walking down to the ring as the numerous attacks by Nemesis and his Army are getting to him. RDJ enters the ring with a microphone in hand and looks to Wolf Hawkins]

Ricky Dale Johnson

"You little snot-nosed son of a bitch."

[RDJ and Wolf go nose-to-nose in the ring for about thirty seconds before Wolf takes a step back. RDJ casts a slow smile.]

Ricky Dale Johnson

"Everyone here can attest to the fact that I am not the biggest Tommy Cornell fan in the building, son. As a matter of fact, I hate the bastard. But last week he showed me that he has some guts. He showed me that he has a little fighting spirit left inside his body when he came down and saved me from getting permanently injured. The fact of the matter is that him coming out here last week earns him some slack. It earns him a little bit of respect. That is more than I can say about you, punk."

Wolf Hawkins

"Whoa, whoa, whoa old man. Don't have a heart attack out here. Trust me, Tommy's not worth it. But why don't we go ahead and say what every loser here is waiting for us to say. You want a match with the wolf right here tonight. Well, you've got it, RDJ. You and me, one on one, but not until the main event. Not until my time. Not your time. I'll see you then."

[Wolf takes a few steps back and exits the ring on the back side. RDJ stares him down as he moves around the ring and heads for the back backing up. RDJ looks to the crowd and raises his hand, waving his finger in his familiar taunt. What a main event we have signed for tonight!]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TroyTornado_alt11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickLawALT1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BennyBenson1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/KoshiroIno.jpg

Troy Tornado and Rick Law vs. Benny Benson and Koshiro Ino

[Our opening contest is a tag team encounter with two slightly odd teams. There definitely wasn't the chemistry there between these two teams that would normally be seen within a tag team encounter. Benson and Tornado kept up the speed within the ring while Law and Ino were moreso brawlers inside the ring. Toward the end of the match, Benson catches Tornado outside the ring with a somersault dive! They land in front of a fan holding up a sign reading: 'Troy, make me a star!' As the referee is distracted by those two outside the ring, Rick Law manages to get ahold of his nightstick. He gives Ino a shot to the gut and then a shot right across the eyes! Law tosses the nightstick out of the ring and makes the cover as the referee turns back around: 1 -- 2 -- Tornado grabs Benson by the leg to keep him from sliding in the ring -- 3!]

Winners: Troy Tornado and Rick Law (Via Pinfall @ 12:26)

Match Rating: B-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/SamKeithalt-11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/MatthewKeith1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/GregGauge1.jpg

[As the crowd boos the cheating ways of Rick Law and Troy Tornado, we head backstage where they boo once again. Why? Because we are in a locker room with Sam Keith and the two men who came out with him last week. The two men have been identified as his sons: Matthew and Greg.]

Sam Keith

"Alright, guys, last week was just the beginning. It is nothing like you are going to face tonight. Tonight you are stepping into the ring not only with the TCW World Champion but the TCW World Tag Team Champions as well. Just follow my lead inside the ring and you will be fine."

Matthew Keith

"This is what you trained us for, dad. We'll make you proud."

[sam ruffles Matthew's hair while Greg just looks confidently at the two and we head back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/TCW_AllAction.jpg

TCW All Action Title Match

Edd Stone defends vs. debuting Brendan Idol

[brendan Idol is waiting in the ring when we come back. Edd Stone and Charlie Thatcher come out to boos from the crowd. They enter the ring and Stone poses with Thatcher behind him as fireworks blast in the background. The match inside the ring is very fast-paced between these two. Stone catches Idol in a snap suplex and a float-over for a pinfall: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Idol shows some skill inside the ring when he catches Stone in a dropkick. Stone, though, manages to send Idol outside the ring. As Stone distracts the official, Charlie Thatcher catches Idol with a big boot. Thatcher tosses Idol back inside the ring. Stone looks down at Idol and then looks to the crowd and then back to Idol. He moves over and kicks Idol in the gut -- Party's Over! The seated faceplant connects! Stone makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Edd Stone (Via Pinfall @ 9:44; Edd Stone retains the TCW All Action title)

Match Rating: C+

[As Edd Stone and Charlie Thatcher celebrate another victory, we head backstage following behind Bryan Vessey. Vessey is walking down the hallway when he gets blindsided! Eddie Peak appears on the screen beginning to stomp on the fallen Vessey! Peak moves over and grabs a chair, picking it up and slamming it down on the fallen Vessey! He bends over and begins to bite him in the forehead! How sadistic is that?!?! Peak smiles a bloody smile as officials step in to break things up. Will Vessey even be ready for Malice In Wonderland?]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/FumihiroOta.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/AaronAndrews11.jpg

Fumihiro Ota returns vs. Aaron Andrews

[Another matchup in our All Action division features the return of the ninja Fumihiro Ota facing off with one of the L.A. Connection Aaron Andrews. During the match, we learn that Edd Stone will be facing off with Aaron Andrews and Chance Fortune at Malice In Wonderland for the All Action title. These two just don't seem to click inside the ring, leading to several botched spots and some unhappy members of the crowd and two very unhappy wrestlers with the match they are putting on. Ota is taken down by Andrews with a body slam and Andrews heads for the turnbuckle -- Flying Body Press! Andrews hooks the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Aaron Andrews (Via Pinfall @ 10:24)

Match Rating: C

[We head backstage once again, this time to the interview area. Standing by to talk are Freddy Huggins and his sister and executive consultant Laura Huggins.]

Freddy Huggins

"Last week was an absolute disgrace. This supposed Dr. Love steps into the ring with me, the Teen Idol, and instead of walking away with the win, I get slapped by my sister and pinned by this goofball. Laura, what in the world were you thinking?"

Laura Huggins

"I was thinking about slapping the Fonz. If you could hold him correctly then I wouldn't have missed."

Freddy Huggins

"Are you blaming me?"

Laura Huggins

"If the shoe fits.."

[Freddy releases a frustrated scream and shoves his sister back away from him before storming off. Laura just looks in the camera and shrugs before following him as we head back to the ring.]

Sam Keith, Matthew Keith and Greg Keith vs. Rocky Golden and The New Wave

[Our first of three main event matches as we get ready for Malice In Wonderland this Sunday evening. All six men saw action within the ring early and often as the momentum swung back and forth in this match. It was definitely surprising to see the young Keith twins keeping up with the TCW World Tag Team Champions but that's exactly what happened. Sam Keith was definitely distracted during this match trying to keep his sons out of harm's way. When a hot tag was made from Scout to Rocky Golden, the crowd went absolutely wild with Rocky chants! Golden came in and floored all three Keiths with punches! The fight was on as all six men were inside the ring but the two legal men were Rocky Golden and Greg Keith! Sam Keith fell outside the ring and Golden picked up Greg -- The Rack! The Human Torture Rack! Greg tried to hang on but nobody survives once they are put into the Rack! He ended up tapping out before Golden released him.]

Winners: Rocky Golden and The New Wave (Via Submission @ 14:50)

Match Rating: B-

[As Sam comes in to check on his son, we head backstage where Nemesis is standing by in the interview area with the first man to introduce his coming: Joey Minnesota.]

Nemesis

"We tried to wait, Tommy. Really, we did. We tried to save you for last but you just jumped ahead. You couldn't wait your turn so you got what you had coming to you right away. You got your destruction at the hands of my Army. A Get Well Soon card should be delivered to your hospital room at any time now. But until then enjoy watching the men you hired get destroyed. Joey, in just a few short days your target has been made clear. Your former friend Ricky Dale Johnson was in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Joey Minnesota

"Wrong place, wrong time. That's right. RDJ, you are just the man I need to destroy to make my point. I have been held down by backstage politics for too long. This is my chance to make the wrong things right. In order to do that, I have to go through you. So your country backwater ass is mine. And trust me, that's COLD."

[Nemesis pats Joey on the shoulder and the two men walk off as Nemesis prepares to come down to ringside.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/EddiePeak.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Acid_alt2.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Nemesis1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/BryanVessey.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoshuaTaylor.jpg

Eddie Peak and Acid vs. Bryan Vessey and Joshua Taylor

[Four ultra-talented men in this second main event matchup of the evening. Peak and Acid have a slight tipping point in their favor though with Nemesis being in their corner. The matchup got pretty brutal outside the ring with Eddie Peak as the legal man. He bashed Vessey's head into the steel steps and then tossed him back inside the ring. For awhile, Vessey played the role of face in peril, getting caught in the corner of the two members of Nemesis's Army. The hot tag came around the ten minute mark.

Joshua Taylor did his best to try to match Peak with brawling or Acid with technical and flying. The TCW International Champion looked good inside the ring against either man. Taylor managed to tag Vessey back in and Vessey took down Peak with punches. The referee got distracted with Acid and Taylor outside the ring, leaving the opening that Nemesis was waiting for. He slipped in the ring and hit Vessey with a low blow! He slipped out and Peak grabbed Vessey, tucking him between his legs -- Peak Of Perfection! That crucifix powerbomb lays out Bryan Vessey! Peak makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Eddie Peak and Acid (Via Pinfall @ 16:10)

Match Rating: B

[The bell sounds and Peak exits the ring, catching Joshua Taylor with a clothesline from behind! The crowd boos and Nemesis reaches under the ring and pulls out a wooden table! He slides the table inside the ring and then slides inside himself. He makes a motion and Peak tosses Taylor face-first into the ring post and then tosses him inside the ring. Peak joins him as Nemesis sets up the table. Peak slides Taylor on top of the table as Acid climbs the turnbuckles -- ACID RAIN BOMB THROUGH THE TABLE! The crowd goes absolutely wild! Acid just put the TCW International Champion through a table only five days before they are to meet at Malice In Wonderland! Officials come running down and into the ring to seperate things and check on Joshua Taylor. Nemesis motions and Acid and Eddie Peak exit the ring. Bryan Vessey slowly starts to come to and he immediately checks on Taylor.]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt11.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/RickyDaleJohnson.jpg

Wolf Hawkins vs. Ricky Dale Johnson

[Our true main event encounter and as seen earlier on, these two men simply do not like each other. A shoving contest ensues at the beginning of the match which RDJ wins, shoving Hawkins down to the mat. Hawkins looks surprised by the power but RDJ releases a 'Yee-Haw' that is answered by the crowd. The first ten minutes of this match is fairly even. RDJ shows off more of his brawling style early on and Wolf Hawkins actually brings things down to the mat. Hawkins is definitely more of an all-around wrestler than RDJ and he takes control on the mat, focusing in on the leg of Ricky Dale.

The next five minutes are spent with Hawkins in control and focused on the leg of Johnson. He raises the leg and brings the knee down flush against the mat at one point. Then he uses the ring post to slam the leg against and to wrap a figure four around the ring post! The referee steps in to make the break but the damage is definitely done on RDJ. Hawkins slides back inside the ring and the match continues with Hawkins in control as we reach the fifteen minute mark of the match. It is around this time that another momentum swing strikes within the match. Hawkins set up RDJ for the Full Moon Rising but as he came rushing toward RDJ he was caught in a snap powerslam leaving both men laying on the mat.

An RDJ chant fills the arena as both men are slow to get to their feet. Once they do, punches are exchanged by both men with the crowd trying to get RDJ to do more and more. RDJ starts to get some control though he is hobbling on that hurt knee. RDJ catches Hawkins -- Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex! Both men lie on the mat and RDJ grabs his knee, grimmacing in pain. Both men are slow to rise but make it before the ten count and RDJ catches Hawkins in a thesz press! He begins punching away on Hawkins! The crowd goes wild! RDJ gets up and secures Hawkins -- Southern Justice! He nails Hawkins with the Nodawa he calls Southern Justice. He crawls over and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Ricky Dale Johnson (Via Pinfall @ 20:19)

Match Rating: B

[A huge win this evening for Ricky Dale Johnson! Referee Sam Sparrow raises the arm of RDJ as he gets to his feet, using the ropes to stay upright before moving to the center of the ring. At this point, the crowd boos as four men come walking to the ring from the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/JoeyMinnesota_alt1-11.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/EddiePeak.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Acid_alt2.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TCW/Nemesis1.jpg

[it's Nemesis and his Army! Ricky Dale Johnson curls his fingers into fists, leaning on his good leg. All four of this group surround the ring with Ricky Dale Johnson looking around and waiting. They all four climb on the apron of the ring. Ricky Dale just waits where he is. Nemesis and his Army enter the ring and Ricky Dale gets taken down from behind by Wolf Hawkins and a clip to the knee. Nemesis and his Army swarms on Ricky Dale as Hawkins rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos Hawkins as he backs his way toward the curtain and disappears.

Inside the ring, Ricky Dale Johnson is quickly dissected by all four men. Joey Minnesota pulls RDJ to his feet -- Empire Spiral! The crowd boos as RDJ is laid out on the mat. Once again, Nemesis and his Army stand tall inside the ring. With only five days until the pay-per-view, will Ricky Dale Johnson be able to find some way to fight back? We'll see you there!]

Thanks for the predictions so far everyone!

Another solid show angeldelayette. Wolf Hawkins behaviour particularly has me intriuged, although moreso staying behind the curtain on the previous show as abandoning RDJ was to be expected.

Also enjoying the expansion/development of the All Action Division.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show sebs. If Wolf Hawkins' behavior has intrigued you so far then just wait because things are heating up at the pay-per-view.

And I'm glad that the All Action division is receiving some love. It is one of my favorite divisions to 'watch' so it's fun to write up as well. I compare it to the Cruiserweights of WCW and the X Division in TNA. There are even some main eventers/upper midcarders that I partially consider being in the All Action division.
