Really good show, btw. I kive your write-up style, it's quick to read but seems to have everything you need in it.

 

 

Thank you for your kind words, I have tried to copy my writing style from Phantom Stranger who uses similar style (though there is little bit more information there), only he does it much better IMO:).

This one was a squash match, plain and simple as Hocking didn´t get much offence for his own but he did show lots of hearth and gut by trying and kicking out from few pin attempts before Catalan Twists ends this match for good.

Mainstream Hernandez vs. Kirk Jameson /w. Maryam Vega vs. King Kong Kennedy

 

Kennedy looked to dominate this match with his bigger size but Jameson and Hernandez worked together to bring the big man down, as O´Hara reminded audience that Jameson and Hernandez have been teaming together on multiple occasions in the past. However both guys soon showed that though they are friends they both want the Peoples Championship too and that led to an interesting match.

However the end of this one was less than clean with Handsome Stranger coming to the ring side and hit Hernandez with Catalan Twist. Jameson who apparently didn´t see that happening nailed Kennedy with The Bullseye and pinned him for the three count.

After the bell ringed, Handsome Stranger takes a microphone and proceeds to run recovering Hernandez down. Stranger claims that he should be the new Puerto Rican champion and the reason why he isn´t is Hernandez. Stranger also taunts Hernandez on losing Peoples Championship and proceeds to tell that it´s only the beginning and that Hernandez will regret the day that he stuck his nose on Strangers businesses. Hernandez who apparently had hearth enough suggests a match between the two of them. Stranger agrees but tells that it´s going to be a tag team match and suggest that Hernandez tries to find some other loser to fight with him because Stranger himself has already find a partner. Announcers wonder just who is Strangers partner and who will Hernandez pick now that his occasional partner just pinned him and got his title with somewhat questionable manner. D+

Maybe unsurprisingly Dark Messiah showed more team effort than Gonzalez and Peverell who really didn´t seem to have anything in common other than the fact that they both hate Bringers of Darkness. Still despite their differences they still proved to be effective team even if it was more because of their individual skills than any short of teamwork. In the end Gonzalez gets the win for his team when he pins Messiah for the three count.

Comments: Yes, I do use lot of monster unleashed/beat down angles on the end as this is fourth time in a row that show ends this way, guess I need to start finding other ways to end these, eh? Rating wise this was my worst show so far and frankly it doesn´t really surprise me as the card seemed somewhat lacking on my own opinion. Amo Del Gato and Carlos Gonzalez just didn't click at all, which helps explain that bad rating. Also Mainstream Hernandez signed a contract with NYCW so he will now wrestle in three different companies (he has also signed with CZCW).

Predictions:This proved to be surprisingly hard round were Tigerkinney and 20LEgend got the best score (4/5). Jameson beating Hernandez for a title seemed to be surprise just as I expected it to be (Though both Boltinho and Tigerkinney were spot on for their reasoning in that one). I was surprised about how many did predict Dark Messiah to win the tag match though your reasoning for that was pretty solid and works as a wake up call for me:). The truth is that I´m always pretty hesitant to let more over guy to lose and Messiah & Warrior just aren´t skilled enough for me to feel comfortable about putting them over Gonzalez espesially since I consider them as my 3rd and 4th heel (Stranger and Bouncer would be 1st and 2nd in case someone wonders). Most of you correctly predicted that it was Kings turn to win against Storm and Stranger over Hockings was a no-brainer. Gato vs. Gonzalez seemed to devite opinions a little bit but like I have said I don´t like Gonzalez and I usually do choose tag team jobber over singles jobber simply because tag guy is more useful on my opinion. In fact that match (as well as Dragon vs. Tigre) was simple overness swap as I want Fly High guys to be slighly higher on the ranks (because they essentially are number 2 face tag team right now) and Tigre & Gonzalez had somehow raised to midcard position.

Tag titles are on the line once again this time Natural Storm will defend their titles against Dark Acolytes. The fight between Bringers of Darkness and Gonzalez/Peverell will also continue when Peverell face off against Leper Messiah. Gonzalez crabs a microphone and tells that he is sick and tired of these assaults that Bringers of Darkness use all the time and challenges one of them to a match even putting his title on the line in order to get the match. DeVille informs Gonzalez that he should be careful about what he wishes because they accept the challenge and tonight Darkness Warrior will become the new Puerto Rican champion. C

Hernandez comes to the ring and informs Stranger that he has indeed found a partner, one that he believes is better than anyone that Stranger could possibly find. Stranger simply laughs and informs Hernandez that isn´t possible because his tag team partner is a former Puerto Rican champion.

With that notion, Hell´s Bouncer´s music starts to play and Bouncer comes to the ring looking very menacing. Hernandez admits that Stranger made a good pick though he also remembers to remind Stranger that Bouncer cannot be trusted and that he´s stable mate actually attacked Stranger few months ago. Hernandez then claims that his partner on the other hand is someone he can trust because he is close friend and the new People´s Champion!

Jameson comes in the ring wearing the People´s Championship while announcers remind viewers that Jameson and Hernandez have been tagging together for some time and that apparently Jameson winning the title from Hernandez haven´t affected their friendship, something that Hernandez quickly confirms by saying that it´s Jameson´s time to hold the belt and though Hernandez enjoyed being the champion he now has set his sight on other things so he is happy to let Jameson hold the belt. The two sides measure each other´s up but ring side officials come to the ring and stop things before they even really starts while the announcers hype the up-and-coming tag match between these four.

 

Bouncer is Stranger´s mystery partner D; Jameson is Hernandez´s mystery partner D-

Jameson and Hernandez showed great team work in this match, while their opponents clearly had some trust issues with each other´s. However trust issues or not they still proved to be effective and Bouncer manages to pick the win by hitting Damnation Drop on Jameson while Hernandez and Stranger where brawling outside of the ring. One noticeable thing was that Sienna DeVille wasn´t on the ring side which lead announcers to wonder where she was.

DeVille was in ringside on this one and she did have huge impact too as she distracted Gonzalez from the start and that helped Warrior who took control early on and held it for the most of the match. However Gonzalez showed that he is a fighter and he managed to turn the tide and Warrior ended up tapping on the mat when Gonzalez locked Latino Crab on him.

WINNER: Shawn Gonzales by submission in 11:59 D+

Comments: Ok show overall though The 937lb Expresses match bombed even worse than I thought (I was expecting E). Still I cannot be too much down as I knew it would be bad but I wanted to give the fatty duo some time on actual show (and on the winning side) hence why I put them in the main show instead of Kings vs. Fly High match that was sure to score better rating (everyone expect Dragon had an off night in that match and it was still D so there is some talent there). If someone wonders why DeVille wasn´t managing Bouncer on his tag match that´s because DeVille has bad chemistry when managing Bouncer, which is something that I managed to miss so far. Little annoying but DeVille is still managing the rest of Bringers of Darkness so the change is mainly cosmetic at least so far.

Predictions: Boltinho took a lead on prediction contest after getting 5/4 this round thanks to a bonus point. As expected the mystery partners where hard to guess as there where no clues at all and I even gave a little bit disinformation on Jameson´s case greating problems when there wasn´t any:p. Still both Jingo and Boltinho managed to get Hell´s Bouncer right so extra point for them on that, Jameson did get picked too but as Stranger´s partner so no points on that one. Everyone guessed that Gonzalez would have been Hernandez partner which would have been logical choice if it would have been my main event like it looked to be. However I though it would be nice to have a match made inside the show and decided that I couldn´t put it on predictions as I see predictions more like advertise on the show rather than what would actually happen hence the mystery partners + no Gonzalez vs. Warrior on predictions. Other than hard to guess main event only Peverell vs. Messiah proved to be problematic and that doesn´t surprise me as it was supposed to be a close pick.

Instead they will face another pair of monsters in form of King Kong Kennedy and Ox Mastadon better known as The 937lb Express. Tag team belts will also be on the line when Natural Storm once again faces The Latino Kings. Are Kings able to reclaim the tag titles or will Natural Storm triumph once again? Kirk Jameson will has his first title defense this month when he faces the powerful Titan. Titan haven´t have that good of a year so far but is he able to turn things around now that he has change to win a title? Hell´s Bouncer and Dark Messiah will also be in action when they face a trio of Arthur Dexter Bradley and Fly High (Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr. & Amo Del Gato). Jameson isn't going to lose the belt in his first defence, least of all to the waste of roster space that is Titan. Seriously I'd rather be stuck in a time loop, where you had to live the same two weeks of your life over 15,000 times than have to watch Titan wrestle.

Will this feud ever end or are the Kings and Storm going to battle as if they're stuck in a time loop having the same match over 15,000 times. Anyway no title change here...surely the belt not changing hands is more likely to break this never ending cycle.

 

Shawn Gonzales & Bradford Peverell vs. The 937lb Express (King Kong Kennedy & Ox Mastadon

 

937 Extra Large Pizza's Express will barely be able to make it into the ring,let alone defeat two of the top wrestlers in the company.

 

On a final note, I like the fact that you're not booking to 'chase ratings' but I'd be surprised if this card rates well at all, this totally feels like a filler show and I'm afraid if I saw this card as a fan, I would give it a miss, especially given the fact that Pizza Express make up one half of the main event and Titan is actually allowed to step inside the building, yet alone the wrestling ring.

This was basically a showcase for Bringers of Darkness though the youngsters did get some offense in at times. Still there wasn´t any question about the winners at any point and Messiah is the one who makes the final pin after he hit Gato with The Prophecy.

This was simply a squash match where Hernandez showed his great talent while Tigre didn´t get much offense at all though he manages to avoid the loss for some time. Still it was only a matter of time when Hernandez gets the win and that happens on eight minutes mark when Hernandez connects with his Super Kick.

Another close fight between two equal teams who know each other´s pretty well by now. Natural Storm proves to be better this time though as Howard hits Crash and Burn on Galindo while Velasquez and Rayne are busy outside of the ring.

The 937lb Express uses their size and power for their advantage but both Gonzalez and Peverell are used to fight against big guys and they use their experience to turn the tide. Gonzalez finishes this one when he locks Kennedy on Latino Crab and Ox is too slow to help his partner who has no other choice than tap out.

Right, this was basically a definition of filler show with neither of my two storylines moving anywhere (and Gonzalez & Peverell vs. Bringers weren´t even mentioned) and top guys facing lesser talents. On top of that I decided to give midcarders some promo time since I wanted to see how they would do with it (Not all that well though Jameson was a big positive surprise). Storm vs. Kings were also too long considering who were involved which hurt that rating too. Overall I guess I was saved by Gonzalez once again as he and Peverell managed to drag the fatty pair to good ratings.

Predictions:This was probably easiest round ever in any prediction contest with pretty much everyone getting 5/5 so pretty much nothing changed on standings (except 20LEgend dropping of course since he missed this round) as Boltinho still has four points lead.

There will be six matches in this month´s FCW show and non-of-them will be more interesting than out main event when Shawn Gonzalez will team up with Mainstream Hernandez against Hell´s Bouncer and Handsome Stranger. The match will surely be heated one with two different feuds tied together but is neither side able to co-exist? We all saw that Stranger and Bouncer didn´t work that well together on last time they teamed up but on the other hand Gonzalez is known to be a loner and it has been quite clear that there has been tension between him and Peverell despite their common goal so can Gonzalez work with Hernandez any better? Kirk Jameson will be in singles action against Leper Messiah in a non-title match. Natural Storm on the other hand are going to have another tough title defense when they face The 937lb Express. Natural Storm won their first tag titles against 937lb Express so are Express able to respond in kind and take the titles from Storm or will Natural Storm continue their tag title reign? Bradford Peverell will also be in action when he faces Jesus Chavez while another Latino King member in form of Ruby Velasquez will face Arthur Dexter Bradley. Well at least Natural Storm aren't facing The Latino's for the 1500th time. 937 Pizza's Express will probably dominate the match and then collapse from being exhaustion, meaning that Natural Storm retain with barely lifting a hand in anger.

Rudy for me is the Latino King that could break out as the singles performer of the group, and idea might be to put Chavez and Galindo together as the tag...might be worth a try. Yeah I'm going for the senior Latino here, as ADB is still paying his dues.

Team Fly High have so far been bump machines to put over other teams, but surely here's their chance to pick up a win, over the two most worthless performers in FCW. I'll be at the Rice and Beans stand for this one, because I don't think I could suffer the pain of having to see Titan and Car-Go stink up the ring in the same match.

Chavez manages to get some offense in this one but this is still pretty much a squash as Peverell isn´t really in any danger to lose and the usual Dream Left Hook knocks Chavez´s lights out.

This was an interesting bout where Jameson put his technical skills against Messiah´s hard hitting offence. Jameson manages to make a good account on himself but eventually he falls on The Prophecy after Sienna DeVille distracts him.

This match showed again that Gonzalez isn´t really a team player as there was very little teamwork between him and Hernandez. Then again teamwork didn´t exactly work on the heels side either and at times this looked more like a four way dance than any tag team match. Still everyone looked rather strong and all got to show their own offence.

Unfortunately it´s outside interference that makes the difference as Dark Acolytes come to the ringside after the referee had been knocked out and though Gonzalez and Hernandez manages to beat them back they are still distracted long enough for heels to take advantage and Bouncer hits Hernandez with Damnation Drop that seal the victory for the bad guys.

Comments: Titan has got some locker room heat thanks to he´s bad attitude, like I needed another reason to let him go, I did just give him a stern warning but he´s changes of staying after his contract ends are pretty much zero. Howard did balance the backstage atmosphere with hilarious road stories tough. The show itself was decent though I was definitely saved by last two matches but that´s how it often is. I was little surprised that Gonzalez or either one of the The 937lb Express didn´t whine about losing to less over guys but all took it rather well (Express guys where on E+ overness while Natural Storm were only at E-, got to love brute + menace). Dragon and Shawn Gonzalez are both becoming little stale on their current roles. And then there another bad news as Mainstream Hernandez signed a written deal with CGC so he´s gone which obviously hurts a lot but that´s how it is with smaller companies. Guess I have to change my plans once again then.

Predictions:Jingo got 6/6 (though admittably he did bold ADB instead of Velasquez but his comment seems to indicate that he meant to pick Ruby so I did go that way.) this round and thus took the stop spot. With Boltinho missing this round top 3 are very close again and it´s anyone´s ball game. On the predictions main event and High Fly´s tag win where the two matches that gave biggest problems this time around. It was time for Gonzalez to lose a match and with Hernandez having the lowest overness from the four it just made most sense. High Fly got the win simply because I´m little sort on face tag teams and both Titan and Carlos are leaving soon anyway so might as well job them out before that. Ruby and Peverell winning their matches were no-brainers but I was slighly surprised that no one picked Jameson to win his match but maybe the non-title stipulation gave it away. Everyone picking Storm over Express wasn´t really big surprise either considering that Storm just won the titles plus the fact that there were absolutely no build up for the match (not to mention the fact that Express are totally talent free in ring).

Can our champions defeat the Dark group or will they prove too strong? We will also have new debutant in FCW as still unknown person is scheduled to singles match against Titan. Will newcomer be triumphant on his first match or is Titan too big obstacle? Speaking of big obstacles both members of The 937lb Express are in singles action tonight as King Kong Kennedy steps in the ring against Ruby Velasquez while his partner Ox will face the youngster Matt Hockings. Handsome Stranger will also be in the action tonight as he faces Arthur Dexter Bradley while High Fly will be in tag team actions against Jesus Chavez and Tigre Salvaje Jr.
