OOC UPDATE: I just wanted to toss in this update here as far as the card status goes. I have it about halfway finished though, as always, the latter half is generally the longest part. I am envisioning a Monday or Tuesday release date for the show. Thank you to those of you who have predicted so far!

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 3 January 2010

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds (South East)

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: C+

TV Rating: 1.42

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[The Huntsville Fairground is once again sold out with standing room only as USPW American Wrestling comes here and within your living room on Sports America! The opening video finishes and the fans do their best to get on-camera as the cameras pan around the building while the announcers welcome everyone to USPW American Wrestling. What matches we have here, including our main event which is a six man tag team encounter pitting The Titans and Jumbo Jackson, all three members of the Sneer Corporation, against James Justice, Nicky Champion and the USPW World Champion Enygma!]

[The crowd absolutely cheers when the patriotic music begins of one of three number one contenders. The Hardcore American Chris Caulfield walks out through the curtains and begins high fiving fans. He pauses at ringside and gives one of the young fans his bandana, flashing a smile before he climbs the stairs and enters the ring. He begins a 'USA' chant, which is echoed by the crowd. The crowd here in Huntsville is definitely patriotic. Chris pauses in the center of the ring with a microphone in hand.]

Chris Caulfield

"It is absolutely wonderful to stand in the middle of this ring and hear that chant with five thousand fans calling out loud. I want to thank each and every one of you here and send good wishes to our troops overseas. With that being said, I turn my focus to one man in particular: Bruce the Giant. Bruce, I don't know if you've done your history lesson but Australia was once considered a prison. It's where all the bad people were sent. So to claim that you're from that country? Well, it would be a disgrace to have someone like that fighting for the USPW World title. It would be absolutely disgusting. That is why you have someone like me, the Hardcore American, the man who is like a rock, stepping in your way. You have no choice because I do not plan on backing down from you at any time. I do not plan.."

[Chris pauses in his words because he is interrupted by very unfamiliar music. He looks very confused as he looks toward the ramp and toward the curtain. The fans look confused as well as they wait to see who is coming out to the ring, interrupting the Hardcore American.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DavisWayneNewton_jsilver.jpg

[The crowd is still confused even as this man steps out from behind the curtain. They don't give him much of a reaction either way since they don't know who he is. He has an arrogant smile on his lips and a microphone in his hand as he walks down toward the ring. Chris steps back and moves into the far corner, waiting and watching as this man moves up the stairs and climbs into the ring. He takes a slow look around before raising the microphone to his lips.]

Mystery Man

"Good evening everyone. For those of you who don't follow the Canadian wrestling scene, well, first, I feel sorry for you. You're missing out on the best action in North America and frankly in the world today. But for you fat people who don't get the opportunity to see the best let me introduce myself. My name is Davis Wayne Newton and I am the best wrestler you will ever see in USPW or any other promotion. I was trained by the best and I come from the best city in the world: Toronto. Quite frankly, none of you Americans deserve to see me inside the ring but I felt sorry for you so here I am."

Chris Caulfield

"If you don't want to be down here, we have a saying for that. If you don't like being here in America, then get out."

Davis Wayne Newton

"Chris Caulfield. Chris. Chris. Chris. You are the man I came out here to see, obviously. You talk about how America is the greatest country in the world but you have never been one who has been known for your brainpower. No one has ever accused you of being a scientist, have they? Maybe a brain surgeon? No, of course not. What you are is a hard headed American and later on tonight I am going to find out just how hard that head is. You see I already spoke with Commissioner Doom tonight and he found there to be nothing better than to see me step inside the ring with you one on one. You are going to come to find that I am a triple threat of wrestling all by myself. I am the best brawler. I am the best flyer. I am the best technician. So good luck tonight because you're going to need it."

[Davis turns and exits the ring, leaving Chris Caulfield standing there with an angry look. But later on tonight these two will do battle. What a debut for the Canadian newcomer Davis Wayne Newton.]

Match #1

USPW Television Title Match

Andre Jones defends vs. Captain USA

[Our opening contest here on USPW American Wrestling is for the USPW Television title. Captain USA is coming off a tag team victory but he definitely runs into a roadblock here when faced with the younger and faster Andre Jones. The crowd got into several 'USA' chants throughout the match though it did little to help the Captain. Jones showed his technical skill and spent some time yelling at fans about his being a legitimate athlete because he is a world-class volleyball player. Jones heads to the top turnbuckle late and drops a double axehandle on USA, the move he calls the Blast From The Past. Jones makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Another successful defense by Jones!]

Winner: Andre Jones (Via Pinfall @ 5:29; Andre Jones retains the USPW Television title)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Liberty_dse81.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/NickyChampion_jhd2-1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg

[The crowd really didn't appreciate the win by Andre Jones. But what the crowd did appreciate was when the cameras headed backstage and came upon a meeting between James Justice, Nicky Champion and Enygma. The three are standing within a locker room area with James Justice leading the conversation.]

James Justice

"Dudes, you know that this is a big evening to gain momentum toward Stars, Stripes And Slams. That's gonna be the first-ever pay-per-view in USPW history. That is major!"

Nicky Champion

"But we can't lose our focus on tonight, right? Isn't that right, Enygma?"

[Enygma simply nods and looks down at the belt around his waist and then back up toward Justice and Champion. He pats Justice on the shoulder and then Champion on the opposite shoulder. After releasing both men, he reaches down between them and raises up a baseball bat that has been painted as green as his mask. He twirls the bat in his hand and then turns and walks off. Nicky shakes his head and goes chasing Enygma.]

Nicky Champion

"Enygma! Come back! That is NOT the way we want to win!"

[Justice shrugs and goes chasing after both of them as we head back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/CherryBomb_jhd1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/SuzanneBrazzle_Trell.jpg

Cherry Bomb vs. Suzanne Brazzle

[Our lone women's bout this evening but it is a halfway decent one all things considered. Suzanne Brazzle comes out with a t-shirt cannon, which she uses to shoot t-shirts into the crowd. When the attention turns to the ring, Cherry Bomb dominates the debutant. The Miracle Blonde only gets in a few offensive moves throughout the match. She brings down the maniacal Cherry Bomb with a German Suplex plus bridge for a two count. But the momentum doesn't last long for her as Cherry Bomb gets it back with a rake of the eyes. Cherry Bomb drops Brazzle with a suplex and then sets her up for the Cherry Bomb and delivers! She makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Cherry Bomb (Via Pinfall @ 5:16)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BruceTheGiant_sockpuppet.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[The crowd absolutely cheers when Chris Caulfield is shown on the big screen. The Hardcore American is definitely a fan favorite. But those cheers turn to boos when Caulfield staggers forward, taking a shot from behind. The camera angle grows wider to reveal the attacker: Bruce the Giant. Bruce grabs Caulfield by the back of the head and tosses him head-first into a drinking machine! Caulfield bounces off the machine and Bruce slams him down face-first to the ground. Bruce takes a few steps back and then drops an elbow on the fallen Caulfield. The elbow strikes Caulfield on the spine as the crowd boos. Bruce picks up Caulfield and locks on a bear hug before ramming him, again, against the soda machine! Officials finally come in and some order is restored but not before Chris Caulfield can be seen spitting up blood. Will he be ready for a match later on?]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DemonAnger.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BrendanIdol.jpg

Anger vs. Brendan Idol

[Quite possibly one of the worst matches so far this year as Anger steps into the ring with local wrestler Brendan Idol. 'The Teen Dream' Brendan Idol does his best to bump around for the former tag team wrestler. Though Anger isn't getting any younger, which makes him a little more difficult to relate to the younger generation. The former Demon of Rage looks to make a tag midway through the match and then remembers he is in singles action. He continues his assault on Idol, dropping him with the Demon Slam and then makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Anger (Via Pinfall @ 4:34)

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/EricTyler.jpg

[The focus turns back to the ringside area where the fans are settling some after that horrendous matchup between Anger and Brendan Idol. Those same fans are shocked and surprised to see the man identified by the announcers as Eric Tyler walking down toward the ring. He is wearing a white suit cut perfectly to fit his form. Some of the fans begin an 'Eric Tyler' chant, remembering him from his time with DaVE. Tyler steps inside the ring and raises a hand to quiet the crowd and then raises a microphone to his lips.]

Eric Tyler

"You need to be quiet because I guarantee you that you want to hear what I have to say. USPW has been overrun by men who are unfit to be considered wrestlers. Men that hide behind masks like Enygma. Men that hide behind facepaint like The Force. Men that hide behind the American flag like Chris Caulfield. It has become a promotion filled from the bottom to the top of absolute cowards who wouldn't know a wristlock from a wrist watch."

[if the crowd didn't know how to take this man before they absolutely know now as he gets showered by boos from this sold-out audience.]

Eric Tyler

"I am here to clean things up. I am here to teach these men how to be wrestlers, not some lousy sports entertainers, as Richard Eisen likes to say. I am here to represent the interests of men who have toiled in the ring. I am here to represent men who have shown a dedication to learning their craft. I am here to represent the best WRESTLERS in the business. To prove my point, I want you to have a look and see what's behind door number one."

[The crowd is puzzled until the curtains part and a wrestler is thrown down on the ramp with another wrestler stepping through behind him.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/JimForce_dse81.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/SteveFlashbyewanite.jpg

[The wrestler down on his hands and knees is The Force! The other wrestler is identified by the announcers as Steve Flash, the King of the independents and an excellent wrestler. Flash grabs The Force by the hair and yanks him down to the ringside area, running him against the ring post. The Force drops to the ground at ringside and Steve Flash enters the ring, standing side by side with Eric Tyler.]

Eric Tyler

"This is only the beginning, USPW. Wrestling tradition has come to this promotion. You will be left with only two choices: destruction or domination. The choice is yours, USPW WRESTLERS. But rest assured that this will not end until tradition and respect are returned."

[The Force enters the ring, though he looks a little worse for wear. But he is still willing to fight! Steve Flash walks over and picks him up -- Flash Bang! The hotshot sends The Force back down to the mat. Steve Flash stands beside Eric Tyler and they raise their arms before exiting the ring and heading to the back.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DeanWaldorf_jsilver.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/MarvStatler_jsilver.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/FreddieDatsun_alt3.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DesDavids-1-1.jpg

Non Title

The Ring Generals vs. The People's Team

[Our first time seeing the USPW World Tag Team Champions in action this year as it seems like Datsun had focused some on singles competition. This was not one of the best matches of the evening, ranking slightly ahead of the Anger/Brendan Idol match. There were several miscommunications on behalf of the People's Team and that led to the Ring Generals getting several surprising near falls. Des Davids was the face-in-peril for the match and once he got the hot tag to Freddie Datsun, it was domination by the People's Team. Datsun lifts Statler on his shoulders as Davids takes out Waldorf with the Quarterback Sack -- Patriot Press by Datsun on Statler! Datsun makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: The People's Team (Via Pinfall @ 5:03)

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg

[The sound of constant banging begins our next video. We are taken backstage where the USPW World Champion Enygma is walking down a hallway banging that green baseball bat along the wall. Apparently, Nicky couldn't catch up with him? He turns a corner and pauses as lined up against the wall in front of him is the casket that Tyson Baine was working on. Enygma tilts his head to the side and stares at it for about thirty seconds. He walks over to it and bangs the baseball bat on the top of it three times. He lowers the bat and uses his free hand to slowly raise the lid of the casket.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/TysonBaine_alt4.jpg

[Laying inside with his arms crossed over his chest is Tyson Baine! How long has Baine been in this casket? Enygma looks down at him for a moment and then begins to raise the baseball bat when Baine's arm shoots out and his fingers wrap around the throat of the USPW World Champion! Enygma drops the bat as his hands move to the hand around his throat, struggling to break free. Baine sits up and looks over at Enygma, giving an evil smile across his lips. Baine squeezes a little more and then shoves Enygma away from the casket, making Enygma fall backward and land in a heap on the ground, gasping for air. Enygma crawls forward to the baseball bat slowly and the lights in the hallway turn out. After about thirty seconds, the lights return with the casket now empty! Enygma looks to the casket and then on either side of the hallway. What powers Tyson Baine has!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DavisWayneNewton_jsilver.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

Davis Wayne Newton vs. Chris Caulfield

[After the argument earlier on this evening between these two, the fans were definitely expecting a great matchup here tonight. Though some of the match was marred by the attack on Chris Caulfield by Bruce the Giant earlier on in the evening. Caulfield came out to the ring looking a little worse for wear and Newton focused his attack right on that area: the back and the ribs. Though the crowd still really had no idea who Newton was, he did his best to play up to them and get the boos from this pro-America crowd. Newton scores a two count midway through the match following a huge spinebuster slam on Caulfield.]

[The turning point comes when Newton sends Caulfield to the ropes and ducks his head a little too early -- swinging neckbreaker by Caulfield! Both men lay out on the mat and are slow to get to their feet. Caulfield throws punches to Newton, knocking him backward into the corner. He climbs up the turnbuckles and begins throwing punches. Instead of the usual count, the crowd screams a letter with every punch: 'U.S.A., U.S.A., U.S.A.' Caulfield drops down after nine punches and brings down Newton with a body slam but grabs his back in pain following the move. Newton manages to make it to his feet. He charges Caulfield but Caulfield ducks a clothesline and grabs Newton by the hair. He hooks him -- Danger Drop! Caulfield hits the Danger Drop from out of nowhere! He makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! A big win for one of our number one contenders as the crowd gives the 'U.S.A.' chant!]

Winner: Chris Caulfield (Via Pinfall @ 9:48)

Match Rating: D

The Titans and Jumbo Jackson vs. Enygma, James Justice and Nicky Champion

[it is main event time and what a six man tag team encounter this should be as The Titans team with Jumbo Jackson to take on the USPW World Champion Enygma, James Justice and Nicky Champion. The match begins in much the same way as most six man tag team encounters, with all six men brawling inside the ring and then outside the ring. Back inside the ring, Jumbo Jackson was a bit of a glutton for punishment as Enygma, Justice and Champion took turns on him, each gaining a near fall on the bodyguard of the Sneer Corporation. The momentum took a swing when Justice was tripped by Shane Sneer and Jackson managed to tag out to T-Rex.]

[The three Sneer Corporation members went right after Justice, keeping him down on their side of the ring. Sometimes there were triple teams and sometimes double teams as there were quick and frequent tags by the Sneer Corporation. Baine drops Justice with a power bomb and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Broken up by Enygma! Baine just stares at Enygma and then picks Justice up. Justice throws some punches but they have no effect on Baine. Baine tags out to T-Rex and they whip Justice to the ropes -- double clothesline by Justice! Justice falls to his knees and begins crawling toward the corner. T-Rex manages to tag Baine back in and in comes Nicky Champion! Champion throws punches and grabs Baine by the head, ramming him into the top turnbuckle several times. As Champion has control, Peter Valentine walks down to the ringside area. Valentine is a major distraction for Nicky Champion, giving Baine an opportunity to make a comeback.]

[baine sends Champion to the ropes and then bounces off the ropes himself -- flying clothesline! Baine picks up Champion and tosses him into the corner, throwing punch after punch. Champion gets worn down all the way down to the mat with those heavy hits by Baine. A breakdown occurs when a pinfall is broken up by James Justice. All six men come in the ring with the referee trying to restore order. While the referee is distracted, Peter Valentine catches Nicky Champion with a belt shot! Tyson Baine just smiles an evil smile and grabs Champion -- Hades Bomb! Baine makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: The Titans and Jumbo Jackson (Via Pinfall @ 20:30)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/PeterValentine_alt.jpg

[A big win for the title challenger tonight but there is no order in the ring or outside the ring right now. James Justice and T-Rex are exchanging heavy punches. Tyson Baine and Enygma are having a staredown and Peter Valentine is putting the boots to Nicky Champion! Shane Sneer and Jumbo Jackson watch on from the ringside area during the fight as the show comes to a close with everyone fighting all around the ring!]

FROM THE DESK OF...

TIMOTHY HAWK

USPW American Wrestling

Amber Allen vs. Alicia Strong

Local female wrestler Amber Allen steps into the ring with the daughter of the owner: Alicia Strong. Alicia is looking for some momentum as we are less than a week away from Stars, Stripes And Slams where she will be in a fourway bout for the USPW Womens title. Will she be able to walk away with this victory?

Non Title: Peter Valentine vs. Brendan Idol

In less than a week, Peter Valentine will defend his USPW National title against Nicky Champion. This evening, though, he will be stepping into the ring against a younger man who made his debut here in USPW last week in Brendan Idol. Will Valentine have what it takes to keep up with the younger Idol?

Bruce the Giant vs. Ernie Turner

A lot of people would say that the Disco Stud is in a lot of trouble here this evening as he is taking on one of the #1 contenders. Bruce the Giant will be looking for some momentum as we head toward Stars, Stripes And Slams and his #1 contendership, Last Man Standing match with Chris Caulfield.

Giant Redwood vs. Java

Java looks to break the winning streak of Giant Redwood this week as these two men meet in the ring. Will the streak continue or will Java be the man to beat Redwood?

Non Title: Dave Wallace vs. Enygma

The USPW World Champion suffered a loss last week in six man tag team action. This week he gets one on one action with a local wrestler in Dave Wallace. This would be a huge win for Wallace if he can beat the USPW World Champion.

Davis Wayne Newton vs. James Justice

Our semi main event features a man who made his debut last week in Davis Wayne Newton. The arrogant Canadian wrestler lost to Chris Caulfield last week and this week he is taking on another veteran in James Justice. Justice looks to grab momentum toward Stars, Stripes And Slams but you have to wonder if T-Rex will get involved in the match.

Tyson Baine vs. Nicky Champion

Our main event and this is a good one as both men are considered top contenders to their respective titles. Tyson Baine will be taking on Enygma in a casket match for the USPW World title at Stars, Stripes And Slams, while Nicky Champion will be facing Peter Valentine for the USPW National title on pay-per-view. Only one man can walk away with momentum this evening. Who will it be?

All this and more on the fourth episode of USPW American Wrestling in 2010.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 4 January 2010

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds (South East)

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: 1.33

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/NickyChampion_jhd2-1.jpg

[The show opens with the usual intro and then fades into a shot of the Huntsville Fairgrounds, the usual spot for USPW American Wrestling! Danny Jillefski and Timothy Hawk welcome everyone to USPW American Wrestling and talk about the main event this evening that is scheduled to be Nicky Champion facing Tyson Baine. There are some other great matches as well this evening. The fans try their best to get on-camera as the camera pans around the arena, picking up people here and there.]

[The fans get on their feet when the music of the #1 contender to the USPW National title begins to play. Out from the back walks the clean-cut Nicky Champion. Nicky begins high fiving the fans on one side of the guardrail and then he moves to the other side. He kisses babies and almost looks like a real politician. Nicky climbs the stairs and enters the ring with a microphone in hand. He looks around to the crowd and flashes a smile.]

[Nicky thanks everyone for coming to the show and then talks about last week and how he was taken to the brink of destruction by two obvious cheaters in Peter Valentine and Tyson Baine. Valentine struck him with a belt, enabling Baine to hit the Hades Bomb. That is not how a USPW wrestler should be acting. Tonight he is going to prove that against the 'Demon From The Deep.' Tonight he is going to have the crowd on his side and come away with the victory.]

[Nicky pauses and he gets interrupted by the sound of a gong. The crowd begins to boo as what appears to be mist begins forming in the darkness along the ramp. Then a face appears on the USPW-Tron.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/TysonBaine_alt4.jpg

[Of course that face is of the Demon From The Deep Tyson Baine. Baine looks toward the ring with that eerie, evil look on his face but Nicky Champion holds his ground, which is easy to do since Baine is only on the USPW-Tron. Baine lets Nicky Champion know that he got only the smallest inkling last week of what it is like to walk across the darkside. Walking through the valley of the shadow of death is something you must do alone. None of these people can protect you, Nicky Champion. None of them will be walking with you. Tonight, Nicky Champion, you will rest in peace.]

[Another gong and the USPW-Tron turns off to blackness, leaving a very concerned-looking Nicky Champion standing in the center of the ring. He is visibly shaken and he drops the microphone, exiting the ring and slowly walking to the back, absently high fiving the fans in attendance.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/AmberAllen.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/AliceStrum1.jpg

Amber Allen vs. Alicia Strong

[Our opening contest here on USPW American Wrestling is a women's contest as we head toward Stars, Stripes And Slams. The match is dominated by Alicia Strong as she shows off her wide range of abilities in all three phases of the game, including a missle dropkick on the young local Amber Allen. Allen got in a few shots here and there but Strong catches her with the Strong Arm Tactic and then the Angel Driver, turning that into a pinfall: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Alicia Strong (Via Pinfall @ 5:25)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/CorporalDoom_jhd1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/EricTyler.jpg

[We head backstage as the crowd celebrates the win by Alicia Strong. We follow along with the cameraman as he moves down a hallway and an open door is shown with Commissioner Doom and Eric Tyler having a very heated discussion. Their body language is clear with each other that neither are happy but the camera cannot pick up the words. Doom turns and sees the camera, reaching over and closing the door. Then we head back to the ring.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/PeterValentine_alt.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BrendanIdol.jpg

Non Title

Peter Valentine vs. Brendan Idol

[Our USPW National Champion Peter Valentine is in action this week against a local talent in Brendan Idol. Idol tried to speed things up early in the match against Valentine, gaining a 1 count with a flying cross body. But once Valentine caught Idol with a couple of knees it was all domination for the USPW National Champion. Valentine caught Idol with a gutbuster and then lifted him up. He hooks the arm up high -- Heart Breaker! Idol collapses with the heart punch and Valentine makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Peter Valentine (Via Pinfall @ 4:44)

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/JimForce_dse81.jpg

[We head backstage to the interview area where the man known as The Force is standing. He is huffing and wheezing and growling and looking all menacing. He speaks about the attack last week by Steve Flash and about Stars, Stripes And Slams coming up. He says something about taking Flash to Parts Unknown and dropping him from an airplane? Something about the power of the force outdoing the Flash and every other wrestler that Eric Tyler has.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BruceTheGiant_sockpuppet.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ErnieTurner_jhdAngel.jpg

Bruce the Giant vs. Ernie Turner

[sQUASH! No one in the arena is even the slightest bit surprised at Turner barely getting in any offense against the much larger Bruce the Giant. Turner did do a little disco dance at the beginning of the match and tried to get Bruce to do the same but Bruce just mowed him down with a clothesline. It went further downhill for Turner. Eventually, Bruce grabs Turner by the throat and lifts him up. He holds him in the air for nearly ten seconds before driving him down with a Giant Choke Slam! Bruce makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Bruce the Giant (Via Pinfall @ 4:57)

Match Rating: D

[bruce roars inside the ring and he looks like he wants more! He looks down toward Turner for a moment as the Disco Fever himself is lying in a twisted, broken heap. Bruce reaches WWWAAYYYY down and grabs Turner by the throat again. He raises him up in the air and then turns]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[PUNCH! PUNCH! PUNCH! PUNCH! It's Chris Caulfield! The Hardcore American is in the ring and Bruce releases Turner. Bruce pushes Caulfield into the corner and charges but Caulfield moves at the last moment. He shoves Bruce in the corner and throws some punches and then a shoulder into the gut! Chris Caulfield takes a step back and hits Bruce with a clothesline in the corner. The locker room spills forth and they work to keep these two men apart. In just a few days, though, these two men will be going one on one! But tonight they are being kept apart. Officials and road agents pull Chris Caulfield toward the back while Bruce roars in the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/giantredwood.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/javab.jpg

Giant Redwood vs. Java

[Another glorified squash match, though the fans used this one as their bathroom break. The match didn't get the right kind of boos. They got a boring chant as Redwood showed some strength by dominating the savage samoan Java. To continue his streak, Redwood takes down Java with a body slam and then yells out 'TIMBER!' before dropping with the Standing Splash and hooking the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Giant Redwood (Via Pinfall @ 5:28)

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ShaneSneer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/T-Rex_alt1.jpg

[We head backstage to the interview area where T-Rex is throwing some more shadow punches into the air. He looks as intense and focused as ever. Shane Sneer stands beside him in his usual suit. it is Shane Sneer that speaks and the conversation is focused on T-Rex's upcoming match with James Justice at Stars, Stripes And Slams. Shane Sneer claims that T-Rex is going to avenge his loss to Justice late last year by making the 'Dude' tap out. According to Shane Sneer, one way or another, Justice is going to be crushed by T-Rex!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/AirAttackWeasel.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg

Non Title

Dave Wallace vs. Enygma

[Dave Wallace makes his USPW American Wrestling debut this evening in a match with the USPW World Champion. Not a bad place to make your start, right? Wallace used some speed moves on Enygma, catching the USPW World Champion off-guard throughout the match. Wallace caught Enygma with a springboard dropkick for a two count. Enygma, though, was able to get in some good blows on Wallace, as well. He took over his speedy opponent with a German Suplex in the middle of the ring for a two count. In the end, Wallace went for another springboard dropkick but Enygma caught his leg. He twisted and turned it into an Enygma Variation. Wallace struggled for a few moments but he had to give in.]

Winner: Enygma (Via Submission @ 5:01)

Match Rating: D

[Enygma releases the hold shortly after and gets his hand raised by the referee. As he is handed the USPW World title belt, a gong sounds within the arena. A small amount of mist gathers along the entrance and several robed figures push down a casket to ringside. The robed figures leave and Enygma looks down at the casket for a moment. It's hard to tell the masked man's expressions at the moment. He exits the ring and walks over to the casket. Slowly he raises the lid up and a figure sits up in the casket.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/HellsBouncer_ewanite.jpg

[Who is it? Just who is this mystery man? Enygma doesn't know what to make of him either but he grabs Enygma by the throat and slips out of the casket. This mystery man is choking the USPW World Champion to his knees! Enygma throws in some punches but they seem not to phase this man! He yanks Enygma up quickly and then pulls him in -- Standing Sidewalk Slam on the floor! The crowd boos this mystery man as he is completely silent but he is definitely reminiscent of the man that Enygma is going to be facing at Stars, Stripes And Slams! Another gong sounds and the lights go out. After about thirty seconds, the lights return and this man and the casket are gone, leaving Enygma lying on the floor with officials coming out to tend to the USPW World Champion.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DavisWayneNewton_jsilver.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Liberty_dse81.jpg

Davis Wayne Newton vs. James Justice

[Our semi main event has all the elements to be a very good match, except for the fact that Davis Wayne Newton and James Justice have absolutely no chemistry in the ring whatsoever. Every move performed by either man seemed just a little bit off and the crowd definitely caught on to this one. Newton showed some of his considerable talent against James Justice. At one point, Newton catches Justice with a belly to back suplex off the turnbuckles for a two count. But Justice is able to come back from that and bring Newton down with a spinebuster. He bounces off the ropes -- SSSSTTTTAAAALLLLLLLLSSSS -- Dude Knee Drop! Justice hesitates, waiting for Newton to rise up -- Liberation Slam! Justice makes the cover, hooking the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: James Justice (Via Pinfall @ 8:13)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/TysonBaine_alt4.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ShaneSneer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/JumboJackson_alt4.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/HellsBouncer_ewanite.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/NickyChampion_jhd2-1.jpg

Tyson Baine vs. Nicky Champion

[Our main event contest and the ringside area was definitely filled up with humanity. Tyson Baine is accompanied by Shane Sneer, Shane Sneer's bodyguard Jumbo Jackson and that mystery man who attacked Enygma earlier that we still do not have a name for. Nicky Champion comes out alone, though, he would say he has the power of the people behind him and that gives him 5,000 strong all around the arena.]

[This is a matchup between Tyson Baine's power and Nicky Champion's will and intestinal fortitude. No matter what happened in the match, Nicky would not give up. Toward the middle of the back and forth match, Peter Valentine came down to ringside stacking the deck even more in favor of the #1 Contender to the USPW World title. Valentine catches Champion outside the ring and rams him against the ring post before tossing him back inside. Baine sends Champion to the ropes and bounces off the ropes himself -- flying clothesline! The crowd boos as Baine makes a cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! The momentum turns when Baine takes too much time to do a rare top rope move and it backfires as Champion punches him in the gut. Champion drops Baine with a DDT and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout!]

[Champion continues the momentum until a double clothesline sends both men to the mat. Baine sits up quickly, though, and begins to stand. Champion moves to the sound of the 'Champion' chant by the crowd. Champion bounces off the ropes and he gets tripped by Peter Valentine. Baine grabs him off the mat and tosses him into the corner, hammering him with forearms and punches. He drags Champion back to the center of the ring and grabs him around the throat -- Hades Bomb! Champion's body shakes and then he goes limp as Baine makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Tyson Baine (Via Pinfall @ 16:20)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/PeterValentine_alt.jpg

[Peter Valentine immediately jumps into the ring and begins putting the boots to Nicky Champion! The Sneer Corporation members enter the ring to help Tyson Baine as Valentine picks up Champion and slams him down with a press slam! The crowd boos the momentum by Valentine. But the boos turn to cheers as three wrestlers come running down to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Enygma_alt1jt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Liberty_dse81.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[it's Enygma, James Justice and Chris Caulfield! The battle is on! The odds are still 5-4 with Nicky Champion mostly down on the mat so it is mostly 5 on 3. As the odds seem to turn in the favor of the good guys, things go from bad to worse as more wrestlers come down to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/T-Rex_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BruceTheGiant_sockpuppet.jpg

[T-Rex and Bruce the Giant join in the fight! Bruce goes after Chris Caulfield, while T-Rex goes after James Justice. At the end of the fight, the good guys, including Nicky Champion, Enygma, James Justice and Chris Caulfield, are left laid out on the mat. While those men are left laid out, still standing in the ring are Tyson Baine, Shane Sneer, Jumbo Jackson, the Mystery Man, T-Rex and Bruce the Giant. We're just a few days away from Stars, Stripes And Slams live on pay-per-view! We'll see you then!]

FROM THE DESK OF...

TIMOTHY HAWK

DARRYL DEVINE

When I first came to USPW, one thing that I recognized is the talent that this guy has. There is no one that can deny the fact that he is a talented wrestler. He can work with the best of them at such a young age. But at the same time he has two things that are drawing him down: his physical problems, as someone who is frequently injured it is hard to give him a sustained push and Seduction.

The physical problems can be overlooked at times but his girlfriend cannot. When I first came into the locker room here at USPW, the two of them were making out in a dark corner. She was keeping him from focusing on what he needed to be focused on as the show was getting underway. I could forgive that because, hey, she's hot. I'm not going to lie. But then the problems began with her.

On my first show as booker, she pulled a prank on respected veteran Belle Bryden. I gave her a warning and she blew me off. Then on my second show, she showed up very late to the arena. I fined her 25 percent of her wages for that. Unfortunately for Darryl, Seduction is not only his girlfriend but his manager. That means that however high he goes, she goes as well. The two of them are a paired item in the industry.

I had given a lot of thought to giving Darryl Devine at the very least a segment with Sam Strong and see how things went with the two of them. But in order for me to do that he has to ensure me that he is not going to allow his girlfriend to screw things up in the future. She is his responsibility. If he keeps her out of trouble, his career could go far here. Only if...

USPW Stars, Stripes And Slams!

T-Rex vs. James Justice

This match is set to be the opening bout and the first ever USPW match live and on pay-per-view. These two have been feuding since December when James Justice cleanly pinned T-Rex and ended T-Rex's winning streak. Since then, T-Rex has been more vicious and has been attacking James Justice again and again. Will Justice be able to get some revenge on pay-per-view?

USPW National Title Match: Peter Valentine defends vs. Nicky Champion

The first title match ever on pay-per-view has Peter Valentine defending his USPW National title belt against the #1 contender Nicky Champion. Valentine has been doing his best to make sure that Champion doesn't make it to this match. Has he done a good enough job? Will Nicky Champion show up for this title defense?

Steve Flash vs. The Force

Steve Flash made his USPW debut when he attacked The Force during an interview by his manager Eric Tyler. Eric and Steve say they stand for tradition and that The Force deviates from that. The Force says, well, he says something that isn't good. I think? A definite grudge match this evening.

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match: The People's Team defend vs. The Towers of Power

Shane Sneer and the Sneer Corporation are looking to walk away with a lot of gold this evening and it begins here with the USPW World Tag Team titles. The People's Team won the belts from The Towers of Power last November. Can they survive a rematch with the former 4 time USPW World Tag Team Champions?

USPW Womens Title Match: Raven Robinson defends vs. Alicia Strong vs. Belle Bryden vs. Cherry Bomb

The first week on USPW American Wrestling saw Alicia Strong and Belle Bryden wrestle to a draw in number one contenders match when Cherry Bomb interfered and attacked both women. This attack and draw led to the four way battle being signed between all four women for the USPW Womens title. First pinfall or submission will decide which one walks away with the belt.

#1 Contenders Match, Last Man Standing Match: Bruce the Giant vs. Chris Caulfield

Our semi main event is a match that could main event anywhere around the world. These two men have fought to a 3-3 tie in a best of 7 series to determine the brand new number one contender. The series began back in September and will end right here live on pay-per-view. But it won't be just any match. This will be a Last Man Standing match. Who will be the last man standing and fight for the USPW World title next month?

USPW World Title Match, Casket Match: Enygma defends vs. Tyson Baine

Our main event is a match that wrestling fans have been waiting for ever since it was announced several weeks ago. Tyson Baine has been attacking and viciously laying out Enygma since November of last year. In this match, the mysterious USPW World Champion will get his chance for revenge. Tyson Baine has stacked the deck in his favor, however, as this match has been made a Casket match. The only way to win is to put your opponent inside the casket and close the lid shut tight. One man will walk away from this match as the USPW World Champion. The other man will be taken out in a casket. Who will emerge victorious?

All this and more on the very first pay-per-view event in USPW history. This is Stars, Stripes And Slams!
