I would like DH Smith to win, but I can only see a Ryder win.

ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFIER: Sheamus vs Vladimir Kozlov

Easy win for Sheamus.

Zack Ryder vs DH Smith

Tough pick but Ryder definitely has a lot more charisma than Smith.

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Chavo Guerrero vs Kofi Kingston ©

Title isn't changing this quickly.

Justin Gabriel vs Christian

Christian > all, plus he just won the rumble so I don't think Gabriel stands a chance.

ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFIER: Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena

Maybe you'll be in the chamber next year Ziggler.

...The Road to Wrestlemania...

The first Smackdown of February 2011 began with the familiar sight of General Manager Teddy Long stood in the centre of the ring. With the Royal Rumble just a few days ago, Long explained that the Road to Wrestlemania was underway. The next stop on that road, Long reminded us, was the Elimination Chamber in four weeks time and being the organiser he is, the GM has arranged five matches to decide who will face Edge in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match-up. Of the five Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches, two will take place tonight – Sheamus vs Vladimir Kozlov, and John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler!

Our first match of the night would be one such Elimination Qualifier with
Sheamus vs Vladimir Kozlov
. The match definitely started the show off well, and although Kozlov has been largely confined to his comedy tag team with Santino Marella the big Russian got in enough offense to remind everyone in the WWE Universe of the scary Soviet who joined the company five years ago. The accolades, however, would go to Irishman Sheamus who took control after a shaky start to win dominantly, hitting a ninth minute
Brogue Kick
for the victory.

...Elimination Chamber Hype...

With Sheamus' victory out of the way we were treated to a short video hyping the Elimination Chamber. An image of the Chamber itself filled the screen with the six 'cells' blanked out. With a metallic thud the first Cell opened to reveal the World Heavyweight Champion Edge, closely followed by our first qualifier Sheamus!

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Logos/SmackdownBanner.jpg

...Rumble To Destiny...

The action soon cut backstage where our cameraman was chasing a large group of WWE security guards. The source of the disturbance was soon revealed to be a brawl between Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio – no doubt caused by the events at the Royal Rumble five days ago! The brawl itself is evenly matched – and a very interesting spectacle – but it is short-lived, with the black-shirts soon overwhelming the two flailing Mexicans. The brawl may have ended prematurely, but the fans know that this rivalry has only just begun!

Our second match of the show was actually a rematch of last week's Smackdown – Zack Ryder vs David Hart Smith. Once again the match was a surprising success, but this time the end result would be different. Zack Ryder had learnt from his mistakes last week and he used every way of cheating he could think of to get the win. Smith, for his part, was essentially robbed despite being the better wrestler of the two. A Zack Attack just after the eight minute mark was enough to give Ryder his revenge.

...Rey Mysterio - A Hated Man?...

Our next segment saw “Dashing” Cody Rhodes cut a backstage promo alongside Josh Mathews. The second-generation superstar mocked Rey Mysterio's beating at the hands of Alberto Del Rio, claiming that after Rey-Rey cheated to eliminate Rhodes from the Royal Rumble, he deserves everything he gets. In fact, if ADR hadn't beaten him up earlier in the show, then this segment wouldn't be an interview but a one-sided beatdown!

...You're Either Nexus...

We were once again whisked backstage where Wade Barrett was angrily blaming David Otunga, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel for his loss at the Royal Rumble. Their lack of support, he claimed, was the reason for his defeat. David Otunga reminds Barrett that he had previously claimed that he didn't need any help, a remark that only served to fuel the Englishman's rage. Stopping just short of striking the ****y youngster, Barrett dismissed the trio, demanding some time alone to plan his next move.

Our weekly Divas match featuring the talented, if perhaps not hugely popular
Gail Kim vs Tamina
. After the shocking end to the Divas title match at last week's Royal Rumble few in the WWE Universe are surprised to see this contest end in similar disarray. Gail Kim controlled much of the match, only for the monstrous Kharma to make her way to the ring in the seventh minute to attack Kim, resulting in a disqualification of Tamina, and a victory for Kim.
C-

* * * * *

...Good Kharma, Bad Kharma...

The attack was swift and brutal, leaving Gail Kim in a heap in the centre of the ring. Tamina only just made it outside of the ring before Kharma could catch her, but the WWE's newest diva is certainly making her mark on the rest of the locker-room!

With the Royal Rumble focussing on the two World titles, we were due an
Intercontinental Title Match
.
Kofi Kingston © vs Chavo Guerrero
was a decent match, with Chavo Guerrero making Kofi Kingston look like a real champion like only he can. Chavo had enough attacks to keep the match from being a squash, but Kofi Kingston was the match's only likely winner. In the end a
Trouble in Paradise
just before the ten minute mark was enough to secure a successful title defence for the Jamaican.
B-

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Logos/SmackdownBanner.jpg

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Christian.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JustinGabriel.jpg

Christian's return to the WWE – and to the Smackdown roster – was the big surprise of last Sunday's Royal Rumble. “Captain Charisma” had one more shock up his sleeve and his elimination of CM Punk made him the 2011 Royal Rumble winner, potentially setting up a fan's dream matchup at Wrestlemania –
Edge vs Christian
. His first match back on Smackdown Christian vs Justin Gabriel was a strong return for Christian, and although Justin Gabriel continued to flaunt his impressive in-ring skills, it was the fan favourite that ended the match as the winner. An eighth minute
Killswitch
was enough to end a thoroughly entertaining match.
B

* * * * *

...Praising A Winning Return...

Before our main event, John Cena came to the ring and cut a short promo about the Royal Rumble winner Christian. Cena said that it was great to see “Captain Charisma” back in action, and claimed that his decision to join Smackdown was a testament to the quality of the brand. Cena said that he didn't feel any animosity towards Christian for eliminating him at the Rumble, but says that he'll be doing all he can to win at the Elimination Chamber and make it Cena vs Christian at Wrestlemania!

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JohnCena.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DolphZiggler.jpg

John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler
was the match the fans came to see and they didn't leave disappointed. Dolph Ziggler's steady climb through the WWE rankings is to be commended, and the former Intercontinental Champion is almost certain to get a shot at one of the promotion's two World titles sooner rather than later. The match itself was as well received as the semi-main event, with a fairly open match keeping the fans entertained for the unusually long 15 minutes. John Cena has been the #1 star of the WWE for years, and that doesn't happen without reason – he twice managed to fight his way out of the
Sleeper Hold
before hitting his own
Attitude Adjustment
for the win and a place in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber!

...Elimination Chamber Hype...

The show ends with the Elimination Chamber hype video seen earlier in the show, only this time a third cell would crash open to reveal our second qualifier, and third confirmed Elimination Chamber competitor, John Cena!

Best of Seven Match Series (0-0), Non Title: William Regal vs. Daniel Bryan

This will surely be 3-3 after six matches so it doesn´t really matter who gets the first one. That said I give it to Regal who I feel that has more to prove.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Kane vs. Diesel

Hard one as both would play similar role in Chamber but I go with Kane who I think deserves it more.

WWE Tag Team Titles Match: Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov defend vs. The New Legacy (Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig)

I´m not huge fan of Marella & Kozlov so I go with change here in order to build up your new team.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth

Pretty much a coin flip for me.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Mark Henry vs. CM Punk

Punk is better so unless you have other plans for him he shoulf go forward and you already have Kane/Diesel to play the big monster role anyway.

The Miz and Alex Riley vs. Randy Orton and John Morrison

Riley seems like the weak link to me.

Santino got the win last week over a New Legacy member, the tag team titles don't mean a lot so I can see them changing hands on Raw.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth

Got more going for him.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Mark Henry vs. CM Punk

Easy pick.

The Miz and Alex Riley vs. Randy Orton and John Morrison

Riley takes the fall.

Monday Week 2 February 2011

Location: PA Wachovia Arena At Casey (Tri State)

Attendance: 8,300

Overall Rating: B+

TV Rating: 8.13

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/CMPunk2.jpg

[Joey Styles and Jerry 'The King' Lawler welcome everyone to Raw this week from the Wachovia Arena in Pennsylvania! Joey stands briefly to acknowledge the chants of 'Oh My God' coming from the appreciative crowd here. He shouts 'oh my GAWD!' into the microphone to a good ovation. He sits back down as Jerry teases him about that and out from the back walks the Straight Edge Saviour CM Punk. Punk actually gets a decent crowd ovation from the people here in Pennsylvania. Once he gets in the ring, he begins talking about 'Randall' and how he is not deserving of holding the WWE title. That belt belongs around the waist of someone the fans can be proud of. That belt belongs around the waist of the Straight Edge Saviour. And, according to Punk, it will be coming around his waist come WrestleMania after he wins the Raw Elimination Chamber this month. So Randall, CM Punk says, you better enjoy your time with the belt because you are on borrowed time and you're about to have to pay up.]

["I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD!"

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RandyOrton.jpg

[The crowd goes absolutely ballistic with the sound of 'Voices' by Rev Theory. The WWE Champion The Viper Randy Orton walks out from the back and raises the belt high while standing at the top of the ramp. He takes his time walking right down to the ring while he and CM Punk stare each other down. Orton enters the ring and gets face-to-face with CM Punk. Orton raises his own microphone up and says that he hopes that CM Punk wins the Elimination Chamber because it will be his pleasure to beat CM Punk down into submission and then kick him in the skull. Punk, though, reminds everyone that Orton already did that. He did that at Unforgiven in 2008. But Punk is still standing here and after he takes care of Mark Henry later tonight and then five other men in the Elimination Chamber it will be just the two of them. The altercation actually doesn't get physical between the two with CM Punk opting to walk out of the ring. But the two men do continue to stare each other down.]

Best of 7 Match Series (0-0)

William Regal vs. Daniel Bryan

[Our opening contest is a highly technical focused contest between two of the great mat-wrestlers of our time. There were holds for counterholds throughout the match as both men seemed to know each other's styles very well. Both men went for their finishers several times during the match but there was always a counter waiting or the ropes to be grabbed. Nearing the ten minute mark, Regal locks in the Regal Stretch! Daniel Bryan tries to fight it but eventually he has to tap out, giving William Regal the 1-0 lead in this best of seven series.]

Winner: William Regal (Via Submission @ 10:03; William Regal leads 1-0)

Match Rating: B-

[We head backstage where The Miz is shown without his partner Alex Riley. Instead, he bumps into his former tag team partner John Morrison. The Miz tells Morrison that he cannot trust Randy Orton tonight or any other night. Orton has those anger issues, after all and could turn on him in a minute. Morrison says it doesn't matter because at WrestleMania it will be John Morrison versus either Randy Orton or The Miz for the WWE Championship. The Miz wishes Morrison a mocking good luck on that match but tonight he is going to prove why he became the most must-see WWE Superstar in the business today and why Morrison is just an after-thought.]

[We head elsewhere in the backstage area. This elsewhere is the office of Eric Bischoff where our esteemed GM is sitting behind his desk with Alberto Del Rio standing in front of the desk. Bischoff applauds Del Rio's efforts on Smackdown but tells him that right now he needs to focus on the Elimination Chamber because he could have a difficult road ahead of himself. Del Rio says that it will be no problem because it is his destiny to defeat those five other men and become the #1 contender. Then he will go on to WrestleMania and win the WWE Championship. But you already know that.]

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Kane vs. Diesel

[A hard-hitting power matchup here between these two men as both men seek to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match at the end of the month. Both men get in an equal amount of offense with 'The Big Red Monster' resorting to cheating at times to get ahead, including using some interference by Paul Bearer. The momentum is back and forth heading into a ref bump that sends the referee down to the mat. Kane looks to use some interference from Paul Bearer and that urn but The Big Show turns up! Big Show wrenches the urn away and nails Kane with a big Knockout Punch! This sends Kane into Diesel, who tucks him in and then lifts him up -- Jackknife Power Bomb! The referee recovers as Diesel makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Diesel is headed on to the Elimination Chamber!]

Winner: Diesel (Via Pinfall @ 7:55)

[We head backstage once again where we see the WWE Divas Champion Natalya and she is...walking! But her walking gets halted when she is assaulted from behind by Beth Phoenix! The crowd boos as Phoenix takes a chair and brings it crashing onto the back of Natalya. Phoenix looks down at her and gives a confident smile before putting a couple of boots to the back and telling her that she is the next Divas Champion.]

["EXCUSE ME!"

Vickie Guerrero is shown backstage with two members of the New Legacy: Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig. Vickie tells them that tonight with her help they are going to become the brand new WWE Tag Team Champions! Both DiBiase and Hennig agree with that assessment with DiBiase saying that the belts are absolutely in their hands because everyone has a price. Hennig adds in that this New Legacy is going to be absolutely perfect.]

WWE World Tag Team Titles Match

Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The New Legacy

[both of these tag teams this evening put on a pretty good show with the fans getting into the match, some because of nostalgia reasons with DiBiase and Hennig playing to the legacy of their fathers. The New Legacy are not afraid to cheat and it shows throughout this match, even with Vickie Guerrero getting involved with stomps on the outside of the ring behind the referee's back. Primo and Husky Harris come down to the ring and get involved in the match, also behind the referee's back. Santino gets taken out outside the ring, leaving Kozlov to fight off both New Legacy members. He can only do so much and Hennig drops him with a One Armed Swinging Neckbreaker. Hennig makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! We have NEW WWE Tag Team Champions!]

Winners: The New Legacy (Via Pinfall @ 6:07; The New Legacy win the WWE World Tag Team Titles)

Match Rating: B-

[The crowd was unhappy at the way that the New Legacy won the WWE Tag Team titles and they don't get any happier with the appearance of Drew McIntyre backstage. McIntyre is shown walking and he bumps into his opponent tonight in the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: R-Truth. The two argue back and forth with McIntyre implying that a match against R-Truth is almost as good as a night off. R-Truth fires back, though, saying that the truth is that tonight he is going to qualify for the Elimination Chamber and get a title shot that he deserves.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Diesel.jpg

[An almost sit-down interview style is shown next with Diesel talking about his history within the business. He talks about being a former WWE Champion and how winning tonight in the Elimination Chamber Qualifying match was important to him. He is going to show that he is not just about the past but he is also about the present. Big Daddy Cool is going to WrestleMania!]

[We are taken back to Eric Bischoff's office once again. This time it's Daniel Bryan standing before the desk. Bischoff tells Bryan that his performance tonight was absolutely pathetic. Bischoff says that back in his day Daniel Bryan would be known as a vanilla midget that has nothing to offer this business. Bischoff tells Daniel Bryan that if he doesn't win the seven match series with William Regal he is going to be fired from this company and his U.S. Title will be given to William Regal. Daniel Bryan takes the verbal beatdown from Eric Bischoff before finally saying that he doesn't have to worry about the belt changing hands because he is going to beat William Regal right here next week. Daniel Bryan goes stomping off angrily and Eric Bischoff smiles, commenting that he is glad to see the fire back in that kid's eyes.]

Match #4

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth

[Perhaps one of the less talked about matches scheduled for tonight though their argument earlier shows that this match could go either way. A lot of the fans showed some disinterest. It didn't help that they seemed to show no chemistry together inside the ring whatsoever so there were a couple of botched spots in there. Drew McIntyre wasn't above cheating to get the victory and that cheating helped propel him toward the win. Nearing the seven minute mark, McIntyre hits R-Truth with the Snap Double Underhook DDT and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Drew McIntyre qualifies for the Elimination Chamber match!]

Winner: Drew McIntyre (Via Pinfall @ 6:54)

Match Rating: C+

["I CAME TO PLAY!"

The crowd boos the music as they know who is walking out to the ring next. Out comes the former WWE Champion The Miz alongside Alex Riley. Riley holds the ropes open for The Miz and Miz steps inside the ring with a microphone in hand. He says that he knows everybody in this arena is happy that he lost the WWE Championship to Randy Orton. Well, that is going to change very very soon. At Elimination Chamber, he is getting his rematch with the Champion and he is going to walk out with the WWE title. Not only that but later on tonight he and Alex Riley are going to take out the WWE Champion and his former tag team partner John Morrison in tag team action. It's a win/win for The Miz, right? But at Elimination Chamber in just a couple of weeks The Miz is going to show why he is the most must-see WWE Champion of all time because I'm The Miz and I'm...AWESOME!]

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

CM Punk vs. Mark Henry

[A rematch of a few weeks ago right here on WWE Raw where these two men scored one of the top matches of the night. But this match has so much more at stake as one of these two men will go on to the Raw Elimination Chamber match. CM Punk uses a hit and move technique against Henry, keeping the larger man from wrapping his arms around the Straight Edge Saviour. The World's Strongest Man does get in some offense against Punk, going for the World's Strong Slam. But Punk manages to get out of it and he shocks the world by locking in the Anaconda Vice! Mark Henry struggles to break free but eventually he must tap out! This earns an 'OH MY GAWD!' from Joey Styles as CM Punk qualifies for the Elimination Chamber!]

Winner: CM Punk (Via Submission @ 7:09)

The Miz and Alex Riley vs. Randy Orton and John Morrison

[Our main event is a definite crowd pleaser as The Miz and A-Ri step into the ring with Randy Orton and John Morrison. Orton and Morrison show absolutely zero chemistry as tag team partners throughout the match, giving The Miz and Alex Riley the distinct advantage. The WWE Champion goes through the face-in-peril mode throughout the match. The crowd pops huge when he makes the hot tag to John Morrison. Morrison attacks both The Miz and Alex Riley inside the ring. He knocks The Miz outside the ring and focuses his attention on Riley. He sends Riley into the corner and then runs right up on him -- Running Knee! Riley goes down and Morrison makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Randy Orton and John Morrison (Via Pinfall @ 9:37)

Match Rating: B

[The Miz enters the ring following the sounding of the bell and grabs John Morrison from behind -- Skull Crushing Finale! The Miz then turns his attention to Alex Riley, berating and dressing down Riley, absolutely yelling at his protege for costing them the match tonight and for costing The Miz the title at Royal Rumble. But what The Miz doesn't seem to realize is Randy Orton climbing back into the ring. Orton comes up on The Miz -- RKO -- NO! The Miz blocks it and hooks Orton -- Skull Crushing Finale! The Miz has a wild look in his eyes as he looks down at all three men lying on the mat. He stands tall in the center of the ring as the show comes to a close.]

Thanks! Am glad you enjoyed the show this week. As far as Kane not being in the EChamber? That was definitely a difficult choice but I have my reasonings behind it that I hope will make sense.

Good, I really do enjoy the RAW roster and the way the shows have been coming out so I'm sure every decision you make will turn out for the best. Nice job. =D
