Revolution Australian Wrestling

The exclusive property of The Australian Sports Network, Revolution Australian Wrestling are the world's first promotion to be created entirely for TV purposes.

The promotion came about after one of the network's executive producers, a hot-shot "idea guru" called Tristram Day, realised that wrestling shows tended to test extremely well in the key demographics that the network was after. Unwilling to spend big bucks to import shows from America, he realised that if the network created its own promotion and treated it like a TV show then they would be able to market (and profit from) their own exclusive stars.

RAW has been controversial in that it has very little in-ring action, basically being a soap opera that happens to feature occasional wrestling matches.

Luke Steele won the Title by beating the first ever TV Champion in Kerry Wayne in October 2009, he won the belt in controversial fashion with the 'Brass Knuckle loaded Punch heard all around Australia' Kerry Wayne has been chasing a rematch ever since.

Quiz Master and Quizzical Mark Question are the third Tag Team Champions they won the belts after beating Heath Murdock and Horton Ravenwood in December 2009.

Heath & Horton held the belts for 5 months after winning the Titles back in July 2009, they beat the first Champions in a 2/3 Falls match.

The A-Listers were the first Champions, March to July.

He made his debut a couple of months after the promotion opened as one half of The Brat Pack (alongside Thurston Darcy III), he and his partner are used to the high life and have come to RAW straight from the University of Sydney the RAW fans see the duo has nothing more than arrogant rich snobs and love to boo them. No matter what you think of the Brat Pack they are certainly making strides in the RAW tag teamm division and are sure fire stars .. Just ask them!

The Alice Springs native is a big favorite amoung the RAW fans just look for all the 'Woahh Yeahh' signs at the next Attitude TV taping if you don't believe us!

Captain Wrestling II is a young powerhouse from Australia who is best known for being one of the original stars of RAW. Captain Wrestling II is tall, athletic, good-looking, he never backs down from a fight and is always ready to lend an helping hand to any RAW youngsters in-need. CW II is extremely patriotic awhich was never more apparent than when he offered the hand of friendship to Ex-Prime Ministers Bodyguard Rahmel Goode who made an enemy when he did no more than spit on CW II's hand of friendship and the assault he dished out broke a couple of CW II's ribs, the two have been at each others throats ever since.

The Canberra native teams on occasion with fellow Patriot 'Mr. Australia' Kerry Wayne as the Modern Warriors, the duo are more than a match for anyone on any given day.

"The Phat Man" Crazy Train is a big 400lber from Sydney who got his first big break when he joined Revolution Australian Wrestling in late 2009. A genuine grade A weirdo, it's difficult to describe the big guy; whether it's his bright pink ring attire, his rapping on the way to the ring, or his slobbish behaviour, he's well and truly nuts. 'The Phat Man' claims to be from the 'Hungry Mile' a mile+ street full of places to eat in Sydney.

Crazy Train really showed us just how bizarre he can be when he entered the annual 'RAW Sexy Santa' posedown where he appeared to be wearing an elf outfit made for an 8 year old, yes you read that correctly see RAWs youtube channel if your not afraid!

Dazzler is a New Zealander who works in Australia. He was signed to RAW in mid-2009, the Fabulous one claims to be from the Ponsonby Road Subburb of Auckland (a gay village) it is unknown weather Dazzler is actually gay or not but he plays up on his 'campness' to put his opponants off their games. He is the only other man (Crazy Train was the other) to of entered the 'RAW Sexy Santa' posedown ... Dont even check the RAW youtube channel!

The wrestler known only as Echo is something of an enigma - very little is known about him prior to his RAW debut in 2009, and he has done a good job of not giving anything away since. All that has been established is that he's a 240lb brawler who loves to use martial arts kicks and knees, and that he has swiftly established himself near the top of the tree in the promotion. Echo seems to be on a collision course with Molokai Milk!

"God's Gift" Gregory Grace is an old-school style brawler from Australia. Having worked the independent scene for many years he was very glad to be picked up by the new RAW promotion in 2009. He quickly turned into an arrogant jerk and aligned with Vincent Victory to form The A-Listers tag team. The duo gelled quickly, and were the first ever RAW tag team champions. The duo were originally aligned with Vicki Halstead an English Model and actress who seemed to make all the decisions for 'her men'.

Now the A-Listers are making their own decisions but have been on abit of a losing run recently, could they be needing a Women to make the decisions for them again!?

Young Horton Ravenwood is an Australian worker who got his first taste of fame with the RAW promotion in 2009. Shortly after debuting, Ravenwood was teamed up with fellow flashy high flier Heath Murdock, and they soon managed to capture the tag team titles. Ravenwood needs work to improve his consistency in the ring, and also to be aware that he is in danger of being overshadowed by his more charismatic partner, but appears to have a fairly bright future.

"Mr. Australia" Kerry Wayne is an energetic brawler who has come to fame as one of the original stars of Revolution Australian Wrestling. Having served his time on the independent scene, where he developed a decent skill set, Wayne debuted for RAW on their very first show. He is very patriotic and got over with the fans quickly, and he soon became the company's very first TV champion (main title). Wayne held the Title for 7 months before losing to Luke Steele, who he is still gunning for. Wayne is having to work hard for a one on one rematch with the man known as 'Unbreakable' seemingly ducking him.

Loxley Robbins is a young wrestler from Australia. A muscular clean-cut type, he is a natural 100% dyed-in-the-wool babyface who just has to look into the audience to make multitudes of women swoon. He was signed by RAW in 2009, and as slowly climbed towards the top of the card and a main event spot. He is currently locked in a bitter rivalry with Rich Snob Monty Croft and the duo are surely set to clash atleast one more time before things are settled once and for all between the two men.

"Unbreakable" Luke Steele is a heavyweight fighter from the west coast of Australia who used to by a bodybuilder. Only a few months after his pro wrestling debut Steele was hired by RAW, who saw in him great potential - with his rippling muscles, menacing glare and raw power, Steele ran through the ever popular Captain Wrestling II on his way to facing Kerry Wayne for the TV Title. He was the champion by September 2009 - one year to the day since his first match.

It took a pair of brass knuckles to win the belt and he has managed to dodge former Champion Kerry Wayne the last few months and when he has faced him its been in multi man matches usually with Monty Croft or Rahmel Goode included in the match two men who also despise the Modern Warriors. Whatever the next year has instore for Luke Steel it will be an uphill battle to continue to dodge Kerry Wayne and to hold onto his RAW TV Title.

Manhunter

Manhunter is a huge - 6'9 and well over 360lbs - rookie from Australia. Big, muscular and powerful, Manhunter has been seen dominating opponents with pure strength. He was signed by RAW for their debut season in 2009, and quickly paired up with Skyscraper to form a monster of a team quickly (and quite unoriginaly) dubbed the RAW Giants.

The duo no matter how much they dominate seem to be lacking some sort of leadership working as hired gunns at times, and just doing what Luke Steele tells them to do at others. But if these guys can get a sense of purpose just imagine what would happen to the rest of the RAW roster!

Molokai 'Full Phat' Milk is a Hawaiian wrestler who has been living and working in Australia for the past few years. Ultra-charismatic in a goofy sort of way, Molokai seems to have an innate ability to connect with the fans. He has been a regular with RAW since it began. An Happy go Lucky kind of guy Milk as had his troubles with Echo recently.

Monday Next is managed by Vicki Company a young 'Secretary' who is not adverse to showing abit of sflesh on occasion.

Montgomery 'Monty' Croft is a young worker who has come to fame with the RAW promotion in Australia. Croft had only two years of pro experience under his belt when RAW came calling in 2009, but he leapt at the chance. Monty has quickly established himself as one of the top performers in RAW's short existence.

He claims to be the richest man in RAW, and is often seen waving wods of cash around and on more than one occasion he has hired the services of the RAW Giants to dismantle his opponant before their match. Monty has clashed a few times recently with Loxley Robbins with the winner set to become number one contender for the TV Title.

Mortimer Pyle

"Ultimo Geeko" Mortimer Pyle is a young rookie worker from Australia. Not a lot is known about him prior to his debut for Revolution Australian Wrestling in 2009, but he has been quite the momorable performer since. Mortimer as been known to bring (often) ridiculous inventions to the ring with him often to the annoyance of his occasional tag partner the much more serious Mark Misery.

Pookie Possum is a rookie Australian worker. Nobody had heard of him prior to joining Revolution Australian Wrestling in 2009, but he quickly went about changing that with a series of high flying spectacular matches. He is now established as one of the company's hot young talents. Even coming up just short in a recent match with RAW TV Champion Luke Steele. Pookie is the smallest wrestler on the RAW roster but it is often remarked that he has the biggest heart.

He first came to people's attention when Revolution Australian Wrestling signed him; teamed up with Quizzical Mark Question to make The Master Minds, the two tricksters became solidly entertaining members of the midcard and tag team champions by the year's end. The duo are managed by "PR Guru" and 'Executive image consultant' Spin Doctor.

"The Regent Of The Riddle" Quizzical Mark Question is a technically-inclined wrestler from Australia who first came to fame with Revolution Australian Wrestling. Signed in 2009, he was quickly teamed up with Quiz Master to form The Master Minds; a solidly entertaining duo, they became tag team champions at the end of the year. "PR Guru" Spin Doctor is the teams 'Executive image consultant'.

Rahmel Goode is a huge dude, standing 6'8 and weighing in at well over 300lbs of solid muscle, and one of the legit toughest men in wrestling. Prior to becoming a wrestler he was genuinely the chief bodyguard \ protector of Australian Prime Minister Martyn Whitham, which explains why nobody ever tried any assassination attempts.

Rahmel was signed to an exclusive deal by the RAW promotion before he had even finished his training, so confident were they that he could become a star. Goode is a very menacing figure in RAW and he clearly has the presence of a major league superstar. How much of a Superstar Rahmel Goode can become, only time will tell!

Skyscraper

The 6'11 Skyscraper is an Australian rookie who first came into the spotlight when he joined the new RAW promotion. The Giant Bully has become a major name for the promotion. He regularly teams with fellow monster Manhunter, as The RAW Giants. His massive hands are often remarked upon by the RAW commentators with his huge chops a particularly deadly weapon for the big man.

The big 6'6 tough guy made a living on the Australian independent scene for many years before RAW signed him up in 2009. He debuted under the name The Kipper, and the man from the Outback has never backed down from a fight in RAW or seemingly anywhere for that matter.

Kipper has become abit of a 'cult' favorite with internet fans and somewhere on the net is a list of Kipper facts a favorite of mine (yes i hunted them down) 'Fear of spiders is aracnaphobia, fear of tight spaces is claustraphobia, fear of The Kipper is called Logic'

Thurston Darcy III

Thurston is a snobby rich college kid, he debuted as one half of The Brat Pack alongside Artemis Eyre-Rochester; He and his partner are used to the high life and have come to RAW straight from the University of Sydney. No matter what you think of the Brat Pack they are certainly making strides in the RAW tag team division and are sure fire stars .. Just ask them!

Vincent 'The Body' Victory is a veteran Australian powerhouse who is also a former bodybuilder. After working the independent scene for a few years, Vince was picked up by RAW in 2009 to be part of their initial roster. Teamed up with Gregory Grace, the two brawlers formed the A-Listers tag team and became the first ever RAW tag team champions in March 2009 ("episode 3"). The duo were originally aligned with Vicki Halstead an Englich Model and actress who seemed to make all the decisions for 'her men'. Just like Gregory Vincent is a very arrogant individual, he calls himself 'The Body!'

Maurice Jackson is an extremely promising young talent. The former rugby player is a natural athlete, a hard worker, and has charisma to burn; All of which adds up to make him potentially one of the big stars of the "new era" of Australian Wrestling. It is hardly surprising that RAW, the top promotion in Australia signed him up, he made his debut in dark matches (non-televised) before moving onto the main roster in the 6 way qualifyer to face Mogo Keela for the Aboriginal title where he impressed but came up just short.

"The Tax Man" Angus McMiller is often seen harrasing other workers for not paying enough Taxes. Claiming to be from Capitol Hill, Canberra the newcomer to RAW was semingly brought in by new executive co-producer of on-screen non-verbal dramatic scenarios Joe E. Lester and is slowly terrorising the tax dodgers in the RAW locker room.

It is common knowledge that Ape-Man is Frankie Robertson in an Ape costumn. It is currently unknown just how many bumps to the head it took to make Frankie believe he is an Ape (or what Vicki Halstead promoised him) but the firplug-like brawler seems to hate being called a Monkey and he pops up at the most unexpected of times.

Mogo Keela is considered a very bright prospect in the Australian Wrestling scene, the 280lber has an excellent ability to connect with the fans and since the Aboriginal arrived in RAW he managed to win the fans over with his off-the-charts charisma. Mogo lost his beloved Aboriginal Title in his RAW debut and must now decide wether to persue the new champ Isaac Taylor or make a run for the top belt in RAW on the wave of his Popularity burst

Cole Fro'gle

Cole Fro'gle made his RAW debut jumping the barrier and helping out his 'cousin' Frogue Element and the duo have now begun teaming on a regular occasion (often in non-televised matches) Cole can brawl or wrestle with the best of them and his easy-going natural charisma shines through whenever he has a microphone. He has already held Tag Team Titles in lesser promotions and now he is in the big leagues he and Frogue seem to have the RAW Tag Team Titles firmly in their sights.

Wether you call him 'The Blob' or 'Big Bob' Bob Shrunkle is a massive behemoth of a wrestler. His size and lack of athletic ability dramaticly limit his ring work, but he is big and menacing and an all round scary guy and knows just how to throw his weight around to pick up victories. He has arrived in RAW as an allie to Joe E. Lester seemingly doing the RAW executive co-producer of on-screen non-verbal dramatic scenarios' bidding. One thing for sure about Bob is that wherever he aims himself wrestlers better get out of the way pretty sharpish.

Big Daddy Horne

Finishing Move: Sidewalk Slam.

Baz 'Big Daddy' Horne is a massive tough guy who has been around the Australian wrestling scene for many years. Saying that he is limited would be to kind; other than plodding around the ring throwing basic strikes and using the occasional body slam, Horne offers little in the way of in-ring entertainment. Fortunately for him, his size alone means that he is rarely out of work, as there is always someone who wants a monster heel on their roster. Big Daddy Horne is having the most success of his career now in his 44th year after having a Main event run in Australian Pro Wrestling, he as now switched to Revolution Australian Wrestling where he as found himself around the top of the card there also. With industry expert saying he is 14 years past his prime Horne may not have too long left at the top.

Alexander Banks

Finishing Move: Super Kick

Alexander Banks is a young and highly talented wrestler who's cocky persona where he calls himself the 'Perth Playboy' really manages to get on the nerves of the Australian wrestling fans. Primarily a striker, he is especially effective at using his kick-boxing skills to launch crisp blows, Banks also has some fairly well developed technical skills at his disposal too. He was signed by APW in 2008 aligning himself with 'Super Agent' Max Forbes and Spiffy Stan Standish.

After staying in APW for 2 years he arrived in RAW JUne 2010 forming the III (later IV) Stallions with fellow newcomer Tombstone and Isaac Taylor (later Monday Next joined the group. Scott Hickey became the 'Super Agent' of the group whilst Delbert DeGeorge mostly dealt with Isaac Taylors career. The Stallions quikly became a thorn in the side of most of the top tier faces in RAW especially Captain Wrestling II and Kerry Wayne.

Big Harv

Big Harv (Harvey Dingle) is a very limited brawler who although he has size - Harv is not in great shape and so lacks the menace he might otherwise possess. His in-ring skills are limited, with little more than viscious punches, brutal kicks and his Choke Slam in his aresenal.

Fuzzy Freeman

Al 'Fuzzy' Freeman is a young worker from Australia who is noted for being notoriously weird in reality; he has been known to forget to bring his gear to events, and gained the nickname 'Fuzzy' due to him often being fuzzy on the details of how exactly he arrived at a specific place, why he is there, and what he is doing carrying a water melon. He also says 'dude' a lot. It is often thought that alot of this unusual behavious is due to his choice of herb he smokes. He has formed a fairly successful tag team with Switchblade since his arrival in RAW.

Catchphrase: 'Dude' 'Bro' of 'Like where am i!?'

Mayhem Mulhoney

Crazy Veteran Mayhem Mulhoney is a wild brawler who established a reputation for being involved in the most insane fist-fights around when he was on the independent circuit. He was one of the first people hired by Deep Impact Wrestling and instantly got involved in an headline feud with The Comedian. Mayhem left DIW to join Revolution Australian Wrestling in April 2010 entering the ANZAC Tournament in the TV Based promotion, he has since gone on the compete in some of the most violent matches in RAW history. He is yet to be pinned or Submitted.

Nicky Gilbert

Nicky Gilbert is one of the brightest young prospects in Australia, an excellent athlete who is quickly developing a skill base to match. Breaking into the business in 2008, his early years were spent developing a tag team with fellow hot prospect Rod Sullivan called 'The Next Big Things'. A lot is expected of Nicky, and he has had one hell of a 2010 so far, starting the year without any experience at a named promotion he went to DIW in April working just the one show before he was signed up by APW where he again only managed the one match before he was signed up to Australias biggest promotion Revolution Australian Wrestling. He has arrived in RAW alongside Rod Sullivan once again and they are being managed by Melissa Abernathy.

Nighthawk is a lightweight Australian worker who mixes high flying moves with energetic brawling to create a very watchable style. He also has a great look, combining an athletic physique with colourful face-paint. If he can develope his skills set a little he could really make something of his career. He arrived in RAW as a surprise signing by Renneya Rives, he has slotted in amoungst the stranger characters in RAW fairly easily.

Hot Prospect Rod Sullivan is a worker who debuted in 2008. He is the regular partner of fellow rookie Nicky Gilbert who team together as 'The Next Bigs Things' Sullivan is considered to have a bright future. A fast-paced worker with natural charisma, his boy band good looks also make him a favorite with the teen girls in the crowd. Rod didn't quite have the varied route to RAW that his tag team partner did having continued working the independent scene while Nicky worked APW and DIW. He debuted in RAW alongside Melissa Abernathy and Nicky Gilbert.

Switchblade

Switchblade is a young Australian worker who was best known as one half of the Crime Wave tag team alongside D.O.A in APW before coming to RAW. He arrived in RAW as part of the 'Beat the RAW Giants Challenge' and went on to shock the wrestling world by beating a man a foot taller than him. He has since gone on to form a tag team with fellow 'Herb supporter' Fuzzy Freeman. Switchblade is physically quite small and has had to create a hybrid brawling\street fighting style in order to make himself a credible threat to his generally larger opponents. Ceri Dordevich as aligned herself with the Blazed Best Friends as of late and is helping them in their quest to be recognized as one of the premier teams in Revolution Australian Wrestling.

Tombstone is another top young Australian prospect who could have a very bright future, A decent worker even at his young age, and boasting a great heel look, he made a name for himself on the independent scene through 2008 and 09, before being picked up by Deep Impact Wrestling to be a part of their debut roster. He made his last appearance for DIW in April 2010 and was soon making his TV debut for the biggest promotion in Australia and on a National TV channel for Revolution Australian Wrestling. He has taken on an Enforcer type role in the IV Stallions group alongside fellow hot young prospects Monday Next, Isaac Taylor and Alexander Banks.

Blake Belushi is one half of The Melbourne Blondes tag team, alongside Rizk Stantz, the Australian duo were stars of SHW (Southern Hemisphere Wrestling) before joining the initial roster of APW. The Blondes are two of the brightest stars on the Australian wrestling scene; Two tall, good looking, athletic youngsters who are good in the ring and cut a good promo. They were the very first APW Tag team champions. Blake is known to be dating Stephanie Drucker, who accompanies him to ringside for matches, he brought her into the business and she has now followed him into Revolution Australian Wrestling where the Melbourne Blondes were brought in as former 'University friends' of Thurston Darcy (or former University enemies of Artemis Eyre-Rochester more accurately).

They were the very first APW tag team Champions and will be hoping to capture RAW version of tag team belts now they have arrived in the company.

"Hitman" Simon Miller is one of the leading players in Australian wrestling, having been the star act in Adelaide Pro Wrestling before becoming the first Champion in the New APW promotion. Miller's strengths are that he is a classic champion; reliable, consistent, well trained and able to carry a match. His weakness is that he is simply not very charasmatic, and while he is undoubtedly a solid professional, he is merely very good rather than great in the ring. He announced his signing to Revolution Australian Wrestling via his twitter feed, a first in Australian wrestling, RAW announced him via an hype video on their Stars of RAW 21 show before he later that night went on to make his first RAW appearence when he came out to the ring in aid of Captain Wrestling II in his battle with Mogo Keela and Kerry Wayne.

Luke Steele + Rahmel Goode are given a long Goldberg-esq entrance where they menace a few security guys on their way to the ring. Luke Steele carries the Title belt on his shoulder and stares holes in members of the crowd as he (very) slowly makes his way to the ring.

* Captain Wrestling II is in and he hits the Australian Slam on the big Rahmel Goode and he lands on the big man ...

'Hellooo boys, it's Autumn Gleeson here friend and associate to Heath Mudock and Horton Ravenwood. After the boys picked up a win over the Rat Pack last week this week Heath will face The Riddler, i'm not a comic book reader myself but Horton assures me that the Riddler is a very tricky character .. So good luck Heathie!

Monday Next is in action also and if you haven't seen Monday watch him he's faster than a roo' and twice has kicky. We don't know who hes facing, i think its someone that the new boss has brought in.

A big tag match will see Dark Reign against Isaac Taylor and Frogue Element, and for those fans that wonder yes Mark Misery really is the most boring and miserable man in RAW but Mortimer is a genius he's always coming up with new inventions. They often do not work but he tries ...

The mysterious Echo is facing Loxley Robbins, Loxley has been a big friend to my boys Heath & Horton so i hope he can beat the strange Echo.

The Money man and Luke Steele (mr. scary i call him) to fight Molokai Milk and Kerry Wayne this will be a big fun team.

Finally the last match, the main event will see Rahmel Goode (Mr. scary 2) versing Captain Wrestling II should be a slobbering knockle i think ...

Music seems to work mostly fine except for some reason A-Listers music doesn´t seem to work, or at least not for me as I can´t hear anything:p. Oh and Pookie Possum, Molokai Milk + Loxley Robbins seems to have same music than Heath + Horton, not sure if it´s intentional but though I point that one out.

Milk is the only one here who doesn´t have a starting storyline so that´s likely makes him the weak link here.

Yeah thanks Heath & Horton and Loxley Robbins share the same theme song 'Children of the Revolution' if guys come out in a team i use on of thems theme song i better list whos theme music they are using at the time .. Would make things clearer. This is all new to me, putting in theme songs.

A-Listers should have 'Pretty fly for a White Guy' it seems to work for me ...
