With every re-negotiation I have received a little but more percentage than the previous deal. Has anyone here ever received MORE than the station or carrier? If you go to a small PPV carrier, I think you can get a greater percent of the revenue, but it's actually less profitable I think. With the way the math works out it's better to go with the big PPV providers and get a smaller percentage of a massive buyrate then a greater percentage of a small buyrate. Think of it like this: If you get 70% of $1,000,000 you now have $700,000. But if you get 10% of $10,000,000 you now have $1,000,000. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Flying Triangle Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I'm not even sure it makes any difference. My company had 20% revenue and pulled in about $192,000 for one show. Once our deal was up, we re-negotiated and got 30% revenue. Next two shows drew pretty much the same buyrate and still got the same income?
