thelon
Hey in my game Lermontov just retired at 34, even though in his status, it shows him being at his absolute peak as a fighter. Has any one else seen this? I've never seen it and i've played this game a lot. He's coming off a broken winning streak and 22-3.
batsnumbereleven
Haven't seen this before, but I don't see why it wouldn't happen. Maybe he got a film deal and decided he was going to go and be a move star instead! (Maybe a Bond villain with those looks )
Adam Ryland
34 isn't that young for a pro fighter to retire. Off the top of my head, Kurt Pellegrino is one example of someone even younger than that who has called it quits.
RedsRule
I actually like this, because in real life it happens.
BuddyGarner
I hate this because in real life it shouldn't. Damn you Phillip Miller!
majesty95
Bas Rutten initially retired at 34, BJ Penn recently said he was retired at 33 and Matt Hamill retired at 34. Not so uncommon...
War Kapur
Lermontov is like 42 for me and still fighting.
cjizzle38
A lot of guys get forced into retirement due to the amount of damage they take. Liddell is one I can think of, I know he was old but if he didn't get KO'd so many times he'd still be fighting today. I'm sure that's the same reason Hamill retired, he's taken a lot of beatings to the dome over the years. Plus if you've ever trained to fight, the rigors of it day to day aren't fun. I studied Sambo for a little while and I will say that when I was first getting into it and learning the submissions it was fun but the daily beatings, getting thrown, etc; weren't. I can see how years of that would just wear on your body and get old.
bigfiasco
Lermontov is like 42 for me and still fighting. same here. i find alot more examples of guys fighting into thier mid to late 40s than early retirees. Mantas fought until 49 in my game.
