Cool Mod Idea... MovieVerse

I just had a brainwave and felt like posting it. Note: I'm not saying I'm going to make this, but hell, I might.

 

I was thinking of making a mod based on comic book movies.

 

What that essentially means is each movie (and its continuity) would be in the data, all within their own Dimension.

 

It will, sadly, lead to a lot of small Dimensions thats true, but obviously the idea would be that you could live inside each movies own "universe" as such. And in crazy circumstances, actually jump Dimensions (obviously needing some editing on the players behalf) to see how Christian Bale's Batman would fair in Michael Keaton's world. All dimensions would be set at the last known movie of their conditionality. So Two-Face would be in the data, but set as deceased.

 

An example of some of the "Dimensions":

 

Batman - Nolan

Heroes: Batman, Commissioner Gordon

Anti-Heroes: Catwoman (maybe a villain, have to wait i guess)

Villains: Ra's al Ghul, Scarecrow, Joker, Bane, Carmine Falcone, Two-Face

Civilians: Rachel Dawes, Alfred Pennyworth, Lucius Fox, Commissioner Gordon, pretty much ever supporting character in the film that had a name.

--Also in this world, because the way its done, one could consider making Gordon and other cops Heroes instead of civillians. Since no superpowers exist as such.

Locations: Gotham City, Hong Kong, Ra's al Ghul's palace, ext.

Marvel - Avengers (likely the biggest dimension as it has all the movies to draw on)

Heroes: Batman, Robin, Batgirl

Villains: The Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane

Civillians: Commissioner Gordon, Vicki Vale, Alfred Pennyworth, Max Shreck, Dr. Chase Meridian, Dr. Jason Woodrue, Julie Madison, Nora Fries, ext.

Spider-Man - Raimi

Heroes: Spider-Man

Anti-Heroes: Harry Osborne, Sandman (maybe a straight villain)

Villains: The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Venom

Civilians: Mary Jane Watson, Ben Parker, May Parker, J. Jonah Jameson, Dr. Curt Connors, Gwen Stacy, ext.

 

Other possible dimensions/universes are X-Men 1-3, X-Men First Class, Spawn, The Amazing Spider Man, Blade, Catwoman (sigh), Fantastic Four, and I'm sure a crap load more.

 

Anyway, just a random idea I had, that I might pursue, or maybe someone else will.
