I never asked for it, but I'd been around a long time, and that kind of made me the unofficial backstage peacekeeper. When 'Masu went out the way he did, a loss sure, but a competitive loss, I heard some grumbling from the guys in the back. Why did Sean get whacked with a chair by Phil and basically demeaned in front of the DAVE hardcores while 'Masu gets to go out looking good.

You gotta understand something about Phil. He values loyalty above anything else. Phil gave Sean his first big break. Before Sean put him under that skull mask, he was Sean Martyn future journeyman jobber. So, when Sean made the jump to HGC, Phil felt he owed DAVE something.

'Masu was different. He already was a star in Japan. For him to come to DAVE and be totally down-to-earth, never causing trouble, helping the new guys out when it came time to build a match, well, it was a shock. Phil appreciated Kunomasu. He knew there'd be a time when 'Masu would want to go back to Japan. What's the f****** point of burying a guy like that?

I called a meeting with everybody in that locker room. From Valiant all the way to John. Phil was there. Mitch was there. I told them what I just told you. Nobody really said anything after that.

Last week's Danger Zone TV didn't quite go as planned for the School Of Tradition. Bryan Holmes & Kunomasu lost their belts to the team of Shawn Gonzalez & Pablo Rodriguez while Eric Tyler tapped out to Chris Morisette thanks, in large part, to the DAVE Unified Champion, Nemesis. How does the School respond? Bryan Holmes will look for revenge when he takes on the "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez in singles action. With Kunomasu leaving DAVE, will Holmes attempt to find a new partner to try and regain the DAVE Tag Team Championship or settle for going after Gonzalez alone?

Also, "Icon of Insanity" Madman Boone is looking to add another unofficial title to his resume. Boone challenged "The Hardcore American" Chris Caulfield to a match and demanded Caulfield put "Hardcore American" up for grabs. And while Caulfield certainly won't overlook Boone, you have to wonder if he'll be looking over his shoulder, having issued a challenge to the baddest man in DAVE, Kurt Laramee.

Big Cat Brandon is on a tear, literally. He's destroyed five men in the past week alone, one of whom was his partner, The Wolverine. After Tank Bradley made the mistake of saying something to Brandon on last week's Danger Zone TV, the Big Cat attacked Bradley and his New Jersey Devils partner "Ice Man" Alex Braun with a particular fury. This week, the Devils will look for revenge when Braun & Bradley take on The Animalz.

And for those in attendance, one-half of The New Wave, Guide, will do battle with the bizarre Frankie Future.

The crowd turns on Tank Bradley almost immediately, booing him the minute he steps foot in the ring. This antipathy seems to throw off even the most weathered of veterans in The Wolverine who botches a spot or two and appears to be not engaged in the bout. Big Cat Brandon controls most of the bout, using his size and ferocity to score several near falls over both Braun and Bradley. As Braun regroups on the outside, The Wolverine and Big Cat Brandon combine to hit an Animal Instinct on a clearly exhausted Tank Bradley. Brandon hooks Bradley's leg and gets the 3 count.

Holmes and Gonzalez waste no time getting after each other, but the bout does not devolve into a typical DAVE affair. Holmes takes the initiative hitting a variety of quick strikes before landing a huge Snap Suplex that only garners a two count. With Salcita cheering at ringside, Gonzalez rallies back and connects with a DDT in the center of the ring. As the crowd chants "Uno, Dos", Holmes gets his shoulder up at two-and-a-half. Gonzalez tries to go up top and land a splash, but Holmes is prepared and sends Gonzalez to the mat straight on the small of his back. Holmes gears up for the Cyclone Shock Kick, but Gonzalez ducks and turns it into a Reverse Russian Leg Sweep. Gonzalez nails a Brainbuster and signals to the crowd that it's time for the Latino Crab. Gonzalez locks it in...

As soon as the bell rings any notion of this being a wrestling match is quickly placed to rest as Boone screams and charges Caulfield. "The Hardcore American" dodges Boone and gets a chair from Chase. Boone turns right into a chair shot from Caulfield. The early pin only gets a 2 count. Caulfield hammers away at Boone for a good two to three minutes, but Madman bounces back with a low blow. A trash can filled with weapons finds its way into the ring. Boone snatches the kendo stick and unleashes two stiff shots right on Caulfield's back. Boone covers but only gets a 2. Madman makes a mistake when he reaches down for a chair after his kendo stick breaks in two. Boone swings, but Caulfield grabs the chair, kicks Boone in the gut and nails a sick DDT right onto the chair. Caulfield sets up a table in the ring and rolls Boone onto it. Caulfield climbs up on the table with Boone, but Boone rakes Caulfield's eyes. Both men struggle and tumble off the table and land on the mat. An obviously exhausted Boone is the first to his feet and puts Caulfield in a position for a Boone & Bust. Caulfield elbows Boone in the head and rolls him up. R.M Stones hits the mate once...twice...three times and the bell rings!

Winner: "The Hardcore American" Chris Caulfield via roll-up at 15:28

The Latin Alliance, Pablo Rodriguez and Shawn Gonzalez dealt the first big blow to the School two weeks ago when they took the DAVE Tag Team Championship from Bryan Holmes and Kunomasu. While Kunomasu went back to Japan, Holmes struck back, beating Gonzalez last week with help from the Lone Wolf's brother, Eddie Gonzalez. Christmas With The Devil, that is. We are days away from December's biggest event and Danger Zone TV is sure to set the stage. That's because the four men involved in CWTD's co-main events are set to do battle in tag team action. Eric Tyler is waging a war against hardcore and found the perfect ally in Johnny Martin. The two men have gone after DAVE Unified Champion Nemesis over the past couple of months and don't seem to be slowing down one bit. But the champ found an unexpected friend in the returning Chris Morisette who came to Nemesis' aid in the Lords Of The Ring match. This Friday, Morisette and Nemesis will team up to take on Tyler and Martin. Eddie Gonzalez, the biggest star in Puerto Rico, burst onto the scene when he attacked his own brother, "Lone Wolf" Shawn Gonzalez. Eddie has gone out of his way to ridicule and insult his younger bro for Shawn's perceived failings. And at CWTD, Eddie will team with Gonzalez' new-found archenemy, Bryan Holmes to try and take the DAVE Tag Team Championship off Shawn and his partner, Pablo Rodriguez. But, before that epic encounter, Rodriguez will try and defend his partner's honor by taking on Eddie Gonzalez in singles action. Eddie Peak and Big Cat Brandon have been on a collision course since Brandon won the right to face Peak for the DAVE Brass Knuckles Championship, the two men engaging in brutal brawls whenever possible. But, Peak has refused to rest on his laurels. Eddie said he will defend the belt this Friday to show Brandon the horror in store for him at CWTD. DAVE brass obliged and tapped "V Man" Vin Tanner to get a shot at glory. For those in attendance, we have a colossal match-up between maybe the two scariest individuals in DAVE. Henry Lee will take on "Jurassic Power" T-Rex. All that plus appearances by Kurt Laramee, Chris Caulfield and Emma Chase, and more of your favorite DAVE superstars.
