AAA: The Sara Marie York Years (CornellVerse)

OOC: I have been thinking about starting an AAA dynasty for a while but until recently, I have not had the motivation to do it. I would like the thank

KingOfKings for finally giving me that motivation when he started his AAA: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun dynasty. Writing is not my strong suit so as I progress, my "style" will be simple and probably mimic other diaries. I hope that over time as I get more comfortable, my dynasty writing will improve.

As you can tell with the title, I am using Sara Marie York as my avatar. I am using a modified version of the default CornellVerse from TEW2010. New worker generation is set to low and can begin immediately. I deleted Sara from the Workers table and recreated her as an Avatar. All of her initial stats match what they are in the default data.

Angel Athletic Association

The Angel Athletic Association are the US's only real women's wrestling promotion, and the only one in American history to have really established itself as a long-term profitable company.

They have been running shows since February 1996, mainly in the North West where they have a devoted fan base. With fourteen years of experience behind them, their big challenge is now to see if they can expand their organization and break into other parts of the country.

"Anne Stardust"

Anne Stardust is the owner of the Angel Athletic Association. For many years she was also the main star, holding the Femme Fatale title five times. She was long past her prime during her fifth reign. Age and injuries forced her into retirement in 2005. What many people don't know is that during the 1980s, she was probably the premier female worker in the US, and was a very talented worker.

In October 2009, She received a resignation letter that would change the future of her promotion...

"The Cat" Catherine Quine is a very good high flier, who is widely respected as one of the best female wrestlers in North America. She has been a major part of the AAA promotion for many years, having risen from opening match worker all the way to main event star, former Femme Fatale champion, and head booker. She is known for being a very charismatic spokesperson for the company, and often appears on TV shows in the local area to promote them.

In October 2009, She officially gave her notice of resignation as head booker of the promotion. In her letter delivered to Anne Stardust, she explained that she wanted to focus more of her time on her in ring career and in her position as head trainer of the AAA dojo. She would fulfill her booking duties until the end of 2009 to give the promotion time to find a replacement...

Sara Marie York is a home grown talent from the Angel Athletic Association. After training in the AAA dojo for a year, She made her pro debut in 2003. Through sheer hard work, she has noticeably improved as a worker and has managed to move up the card. Her girl-next-door good looks and boundless energy make her a natural babyface, and in recent years she has established herself as one of the promotion's premier good gals.

Her exemplary backstage reputation paid off big time when she was offered the position of head booker. After being encouraged by many of her co-workers, Sara accepted the job...

They focus their attention on the ring where owner and five time former Femme Fatale champion, Anne Stardust is waiting to talk about how she is taking a more active role in 2010.

She runs down tonight's card including the main event in which Suzanne Brazzle defends the Femme Fatale title against former champion Suzue Katayama. The Tag Team Champions will be in singles competition as Demelza Wade faces Sara Marie York, and Nadia Snow squares off with Joanne Rodriguez.

Wade claims that they already defeated York and Rodriguez last month and proved that they were in a league above all the rest. Jemson demands that Stardust change the stipulations. Stardust replies, "After seeing how you won your match last month, I agree. I will change the stipulations. Now, YOU must win both your matches tonight to avoid a rematch with Joanne and Sara next month." Anne smiles and asks them to leave the office unless they think she should change anything else. An irate A-List storm out before causing themselves any more harm. (39)

Although SMY looked like she was close to winning on quite a few occasions, Jemson remained a distracting figure on the outside. The A-List are now one match away from avoiding the challenge of Rodriquez and York next month. (46)

The camera follows Cat Jemson and Nadia Snow back to the locker room. They are arguing over who was to blame for an earlier loss. The Angel Athletic Association returns to The Portland Center on February 2nd for "More Than Meets The Eye"

Coming off the fallout from Pretty Amazing, Suzanne Brazzle will defend the Femme Fatale title and will look for some revenge after a post match attack, against #1 contender, Grace Harper.

J-Ro and SMY have earned a tag team title shot against the A-List. The "Big League Stars" claim they are better than anybody in AAA, but they did not seem happy about this match. Does the tension that was seen between Nadia Snow and Cat Jemson show a chink in the Armor of the team who has dominated the tag team division for almost 6 months?

The Brendon sisters have challenged Gorgon to find a partner and face them in tag team action. Gorgon has accepted the challenge but has not disclosed who her partner will be.

Speaking of Mystery wrestlers, Anne Stardust has announced that she has made a new signing and this wrestler will debut in a match against Missy Masterson.

OOC: Sorry for the delay in posting this update. I ended up simulating a few cards into the future and was not happy with the way things were going. I decided to start fresh and redo "Pretty Amazing". I kept the matches and outcomes the same so it wouldn't mess up the prediction contest, but I switched the card around a bit and booked some of the angles better. This was just a false start on my part and I will not redo any posted events again in this diary.

She states that She also feels the strings of retirement starting to pull at her career and if anyone is going to finish out on top, it is going to be her. They argue back and forth before agreeing to meet in a one on one match later tonight. (52)

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The Brendon Sisters defeated Gorgon and Steph Blake in 8:21 when Tracy Brendon pinned Gorgon with a fast roll up after Gorgon accidentally flattened Blake when Tracy moved out of the way. (43)

Grace Harper came to the ring and said that if Brazzle could not compete, She would have to forfeit the match and the title the title. It looked like the referee was about to award her the match when the Champion came limping from the back and made it to the ring. In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Suzanne Brazzle defeated Grace Harper in 14:43 by disqualification when Harper became frustrated at not being able to pin Brazzle, grabbed a chair and began hitting her knee again.

The show fades out with Brazzle screaming in pain on the mat as Harper stands above holding the Femme Fatale title up in one hand and the steel chair in the other. (54)
