Booking Good Matches

Recommended Posts

there is alot that goes into it but basically have your best workers become your most popular and have the most momentuem and have them fight each other.

Things that help to get you there:

Find a few guys who can build overness from angles (entertainement skills or menance works well) have them lose to another star. If you are doing more than 1 show a month build up towards that. Have your top guys go on a winning streak leading up to the big showdown vs each other.

You get bonuses in matches try to make use of them

morale

gimmicks

charisma

star quality

good ref

good announcer

good color commentary

chemistry

It may take a little while and there is a random factor involved but after you know your roster you will be able to have a good guess of how the match will go before you book it.

When booking a match, for better ratings book the victor, open match and decisive win or whatever that one is . Also, if its an event add celebrities and live music and special sets if you need a better show. thats only for recurring events, and not televised shows.

I wish there were an exact way to know who would have chemistry or something lol...Also a way to know who the cheap workers are lol. Thanks for the help.

You can roughly gauge how expensive someone is going to be by looking at their popularity in the areas where you're active. The higher the pop the higher the salary I believe.

You can't "know" about chemistry. Its random in each game (unless its preset in the data). But you can test for it using house shows.

Worker expense is connected to popularity. So cheap workers are going to be lacking in popularity.

With some modifiers (the egotistical/humble personality trait, for example).

Ideally, you want 'humble' workers with no popularity if you're looking for the cheapest possible workers. Women also tend to skew cheaper, though probably not in real world mods (who don't add women with no popularity).

Another idea on Chemistry would be to hire people on short term contracts with limited dates. Not sure about bringing a worker into your promotion? Hire him for 3 dates and book him in matches to see what happens. Or if you want to handle it like the real world does, book him for a few pre-show matches against the guys your curious about. If he has good chemistry (or for that matter anything but bad chemistry) you can resign him to a longer contract and "re-boot" the feud, this time during the shows where it counts.
